Liberty Pro Presents...
Episode Forty-Five of Liberation
Live from Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY
On Sunday, May 12th, 2019
BACKSTAGE
LPW's lead backstage interviewer bursts into the arena like a lost lamb scrambling to find its way back to the herd.
Astrid Rayner would have been seriously late if she didn’t make the decision to take off her heels and run the last few hundred yards.
New York traffic was appalling enough, it didn’t help that her taxi driver got LOST. How could she not know where the Hammerstein Ballroom was?
Doubled over, Astrid rests against a wall, swallowing massive gulps of air.
…: “You look like you could use this.”
Astrid glances left to find an outstretched hand offering a bottle of clear, ice cold water. She breathes a grateful sigh and unscrews the top to take a long, satisfying swig.
Astrid Rayner: “Ah, thank you so--”
Astrid’s eyes widen at seeing it wi the sudden rising star of Liberty Pro, Precious Pepper Vain standing beside her. It’s hard to believe she didn’t see her fully beforehand.
Her new gold-trimmed ring attire celebrates the hard fought victory PPV achieved at Day of Reckoning. Ornate beyond many outfits that have appeared in Liberty Pro’s halls, the personal ring gear of the Anarchy Champion was unashamedly brazen in its declaration of her accomplishments.
Detailed in poetics etched in her fabrics was recordings written in elegant, almost archaic handwriting, listing her victories and defeated opponents in rhyming verse.
Slung over her shoulder in the same manner that a debutante would display a new mink shawl, is the golden title belt that she successfully claimed at Liberty’s biggest show since its revival, Day of Reckoning.
She blankly watches Astrid.
Astrid Rayner: “PPV! Wow, what a coincidence bumping into the new Anarchy champion like this. I know your non-title match with Kendrick Kross is due to start soon. Would you like to talk about your big title win and your match tonight?”
PPV: “Great minds think alike, boo. That’s why I approached you.”
She glances down at Astrid’s free hand.
PPV: “But no mic.”
Playing discrete, a techie hands off a microphone to Astrid, staying largely off-screen.
PPV: “Ah, splendid.”
Having recovered her poise, Astrid straightens up, only for Vain to snatch the mic from Astrid and shove her out of view.
PPV: “I just wanted this mic. You don’t have to stick around.”
Astrid Rayner: “But what about the interview?!”
PPV: “I said I'd talk about ny win and Kross. I never said I'd do an interview with you. Toodles!”
The camera swivels round. Mouth agape, Rayner stares at the indifferent Italian. Surprised the interviewer is still here, PPV gestures for her to shoo.
Astrid pouts, but the tone in Precious’ voice brooks no argument, and so Astrid took her leave, albeit reluctantly.
Slipping a clean handkerchief from her gear, PPV wipes down Rayner’s microphone before those lovely eyes fall on us.
Confidence was high. How could it not be? Even more than the in form Ethan McCall, Precious Pepper Vain has been drawing envious glances.
The first singles champion of the new LPW, and above all, she is the lady who shoulders the weight of being the “key” to the Anarchy division Liberty Pro envisions.
PPV: “The dawn of a new age of supremacy for Liberty Pro beckons. It’s only fitting the first singles champion of Season 2 opens the card, paving the way forward.”
Pepper hides her arrogance, but it is there – a layer beneath her skin, a shroud around her soul. Pride beats through her body like blood.
PPV: “Kendrick Kross might be hoping to take a bite out of the Anarchy division, but unfortunately for him, I’m got plans for the belt. I’m bringing a revolution of quality unlike anything you’ve seen before. And for it to come, I have to keep his grubby little mitts off my championship.”
Pepper’s crooked smile speaks of some hidden amusement she aches to share with the sinners and grinners.
PPV: “I can understand why he wants this particular belt though. The Anarchy championship is beautiful. Look at it. It drips with history and honour and has seen more than its fair share of bloodshed.
With the exception of that title down in the Underworld, I don't think that there are many other titles in the same solar system. Isn't that right, Kendrick?”
PPV’s smile grows contemplative.
PPV: “But a three time Anarchy champion, Kendrick? That’s the goal? I mean, that might sound impressive, but your victories ring hollow. One reign that barely lasted a minute, the other a single defence. You’re good in the ring, but you’re sure as hell not taking this off me. The days of hot poatoing this tile are over.
You had an interviewer take shots at you to your face in your first week back, let him go scot-free and you have the gall, the nerve to say you were the Anarchy division’s greatest ever champion.”
The Anarchy champion’s smile died fast enough for many to doubt it had ever been there.
PPV: “Wanna know the difference between you and me, Kendrick? I don't want to become a great wrestler. I NEED to become a great wrestler. I see hundreds of wrestlers who want to be great, but I can think of only a handful who need to be great. I'm one. Want proof?
Slowly, Vain one-handedly raises her Anarchy championship in the air with a look of defiance.
PPV: “Even the ghosts of Liberty Pro's past have to pay homage to my epic title win. How many of them matched the ambitious pace I have set?
If any of them won gold at Madison Square Garden, the Mecca of professional wrestling, a month into their career, tell me. I'm all ears. Because I pushed aside the pressure and came out on top. The wrestling gods are pleased with me. They’re pleased!
I am much more than Tyson Gregory and his contemporaries, because unlike them, I have the guts to build something and see it through. And yet the doubts, the disrespect, persists. I guess it's only natural.
Liberty has been in the wilderness for some time. Liberty Pro needs my strength now.
Its own United States champion mocked it as a tiny company. Dumb bitches in REBELLION ask, ‘Who is this’ when they see me, the goddamn Anarchy champion.
The disrespect to LPW is real. But that’s about to change.
This league yearns to be something more. Something whole. I'm the champion that's going to build Liberty Pro up again.
I will be Liberty Pro’s famous ace whose name will resound throughout the country.
I will set the Anarchy division on a path of never-ending stability and glory. I am beyond this. There will come a time where none will ever dispute my rule. I will be this generation’s General because I’ve demonstrated the ruthless streak required to be Liberty's #1. And I’ll demonstrate it again against Kendrick Kross.
People love to doubt me and I love proving them wrong even more. And when I do, they moan that I've got my head in the clouds. That I'm not down to earth.
I’m very down to earth.”
Precious smiles.
PPV: “Just not this earth.”
She winks.
PPV: “Arrivederci.”
And with that trademark PPV smirk, Vain eases down the hallway towards ringside.

BACKSTAGE
Kendrick Kross walks down one of the backstage corridors of the Hammerstein Ballroom and stops in front of a camera and eyes it with a smile. He looks deep into the camera thoughts running rampant through his head.
Kendrick Kross: Oh what a fun night this will be.
Kendrick chuckles a little bit as he lets out a small smirk into the camera.
Kendrick Kross: That Anarchy Championship that Pepper holds? IT doesn’t belong around her waist. She has been going around thinking that just because she won it in that ladder match it makes her better than me and everyone in that match. She may be holding that title now but I’ll be damned if she holds it much longer.
Kendrick adjusts his stance as he scratches his head, his eyes not breaking contact.
Kendrick Kross: This match between Pepper and I tonight is going to prove exactly why I am the one deserving of that belt. She got lucky in that ladder match, that’s all that ladder matches are, luck and she won’t be so lucky next time. When it comes to a one on one encounter in this kind of match? Oh she is going to be out of her element. There’s a reason the Anarchy Championship is the one I have targeted, I thrive on these matches. My heart and soul is in that Anarchy Championship and what these matches bring, it’s going to be proven. I wonder, does Pepper actually love being in these matches? Does she love blood like I do? I’m not exactly sure on that, the sight of blood, whether it’s my own or my opponents just makes me go harder. It makes me want the win that much more and oh Pepper I don’t think you’ll be ready.
He takes a deep breath and lets out another sly smirk.
Kendrick Kross: I love the fact that we’re the opener, Pepper. We’re going to put on a show, show exactly why the Anarchy Championship is something to be desired, well, I will be putting on a show. Pepper you’ll just be another victim, someone that will wish they didn’t come face to face with me. You’re running into someone who is desperate for this win and will do anything to get it, blood is going to flow. It will be pretty and Pepper. I want you to take this match as proof that you won’t be holding that belt for long. After I take this match from you Pepper your belt is next. Your claims about being the Anarchy Champion for a while are futile. You will succumb to Kendrick Kross tonight and it is only the first step. So Pepper, understand that I am coming for you and tonight is step 1. I’ll see you out there.
Kendrick lets out a wink as he walks away from the camera.

Kendrick Kross vs Precious Pepper Vain
Kendrick Kross vs Precious Pepper Vain
RECAP The bell rings as Precious Pepper Vain immediately goes after Kendrick going absolutely crazy on him early on. Kross tries to use his mma ability to fight back but Pepper Vain is relentless with her assault knocking him down also connecting with a low blow catching Kross enough to force him to the outside. Yet Pepper Vain gives him no time as she dives through the ropes taking him out with a plancha. Precious ran towards the table to grab her Anarchy title belt but before she could hit him, Kross delivered a stiff straight sidekick knocking Precious down. He gives her a glare as he starts throwing weapons into the ring then Precious herself. Back in the ring both competitors exchanged momentum. As for the last few minutes Pepper Vain had been in control using a kendo stick to split Kendrick’s wide open. She delivers a stiff shot to his head and covers him but at the last second Kendrick kicks out! Pepper Vain continues the assault on Kross however the tide turns as Precious went for a DDT but Kross counters with his strength advantage and throws her straight through a trash can. Pepper Vain screams out in pain from the impact of her back. Kross keeps control as it was now his turn to deal kendo stick punishment on Pepper Vain. He wears her out with it also opening her back up as his was. He grabs a chair and throws it down. He locks in a ddt and drives her head into the chair. Kross hesitates before covering her but Precious kicked out at two!! Later Kross is looking to end Precious going for the curb stomp. He misses as Precious nails him straight in the jewels with the low blow!! She collapses down as both are out of it. Kross crawls to the apron and grabs the Anarchy championship belt. Pepper Vain pulls him back in the center of the ring and tries locking a headlock but she doesn't see Kross holding the belt. He nails her in the knee knocking her down as he gets up on his knees and blasts her in the face with the title. Blood flies from Precious’s forehead from the shot as Kendrick falls on top for the cover and the three count. The bell rings and Kross raises the Anarchy Championship that used to be his in the air. He then drops it down onto PPV and exits the ring, continuing to celebrate his win. WINNER Kendrick Kross METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 8:32 FINISHING MOVE Belt to face |
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut to ringside as a hush goes over the Liberty Pro fans, that familiar Black Eyed Peas song playing as shiny confetti begins to fall from the rafters - they knew this was coming, and the hush begins as the lights flicker, dim down, and are replaced with colorful strobes in royal purple, silvery white, and sparkles. Over the tron comes the video clips selected for this moment, all of the big things that happened during the Elimination Chamber Match for the Liberty Pro Tag Team Championships. The lights run in cycles, and the images get faster, coming to the very end where Coral is up on one of the pods and Nami is up on another. The twins both leap off and hit Emma with a double splash, on her legs and torso. Both girls pin Emma down and they pick up the three count and the win, retaining the Liberty Tag Team Championships!
Speaking of, here come the lovely twin Mrs. Callaghans to a surprisingly loud pop from the crowd, now whether this is because there is currently cake being passed around to those fans in attendance or that Nami has a large t-shirt cannon propped on her shoulder while Coral throws assorted swag at the fans as they come down the ramp, well who knows, but there’s lots of cheering going on. Even though they aren’t competing tonight they are in their ring gear, matching royal purple, silver and cream, and around their waists are those coveted Liberty Pro Tag Team Championships, gleaming as the lights come up normal and the video presentation ends.
The Girls make it to the ring and enter, grinning as Nami hoists up the cannon and fires a few shirts into the crowd before Coral goes and gets a microphone. She waves a bit and turns to shake her booty at the camera before she turns and laughs, pointing back up to the video on the screen where it displays the Liberty Pro logo.
Coral Callaghan: AND STILL!
There’s another pop as now Nami has added some different shirts into the cannon, exclusives with glitter artwork and so on, which she fires off into space.
Nami Callaghan: WOO HOO!
Coral Callaghan: We told you when Liberty returned that you should get ready. That it was almost time for Endless Summer - and here we are! We ARE the team you remember, we do what it takes when it’s needed and that’s why we made it through! There’s not but maybe, maybe a handful of teams in wrestling that could do what we did, face those odds in an Elimination Chamber going in as champions and coming out still champions, but you Liberty fans, you’re blessed because you have us!
Nami Callaghan: The Girls of Summer, Liberty Pro’s Champions!
More shirts are fired off before Nami moves to rest the cannon against the near turnbuckles.
Coral Callaghan: So please, enjoy the free cake, enjoy the coupons for a free beverage and popcorn at the concession area that are taped under the free cake plates…
This of course gets a huge cheer because come on, free food, are you kidding of course it does!
Coral Callaghan: Enjoy this Endless Summer Celebration and buckle up folks, Liberty Pro has some of the hottest tag team action you’ll find anywhere, and how awesome is that?
Nami grins and gets the cannon again before shouting.
Nami Callaghan: It’s HELLA AWESOME!
More confetti pours from the rafters as Nami fires out the rest of the shirts and the twins exit the ring, handing out posters, keychains and so forth as the cameras cut to commercial break.

MATCH TWO: TAPP ADAMS SUBMISSION REMATCH
Tapp Adams vs Kenzie Rydell
Tapp Adams vs Kenzie Rydell
RECAP The match between Tapp Adams and Kenzie Rydell is near it’s start as Kenzie walks down the ramp but suddenly from behind, Zooey West-Jaa levels Kenzie with a hard chair shot. The fans boo as Zooey swings the chair over and over against onto Kenzie when Tapp Adams exits the ring and he tries to stop Zooey, but she notices him and hits him with her patented crane kick. Zooey then slams Tapp with the chair a few times as well until Tapp is incapacitated. Zooey then enters the ring and demands a mic, which is then given to her. Zooey West-Jaa: Oh shut the fuck up! Nobody cares what a single one of you thinks so keep your fat lazy asses in your seats and be grateful I saved you from another snooze fest of a match. Tonight, Nathan Callaghan, the busted fuck that he is, decided to deny me my right to competition. Seems everyone out here got to work tonight except me, even you… Sean. Zooey points to Sean and tilts her head to the side with a wide smile. Zooey West-Jaa: Sean Callaghan, the boy who killed his mommy. Tell me Sean, how can you sit there on your daddy’s dime knowing you’re the reason she isn’t here today. How can you look you brothers and you, look your father in the eye knowing she killed herself because of what disgusting failures you all are. She’d rather be DEAD than be a Callaghan and honestly? I can relate? As Sean begins to looks angry, Zooey just mocks him with a laugh and shakes her head. Zooey West-Jaa: Awww are you madddddd? What you gonna do about it? Sean Callaghan is livid as he gets in the ring and demands the referee rings the bell. WINNER N//A METHOD N/A MATCH LENGTH N/A FINISHING MOVE N/A |

Zooey West-Jaa vs Sean Callaghan
Zooey West-Jaa vs Sean Callaghan
RECAP As the bell rang Sean struck quickly catching Zooey with a missile dropkick which sent her down to the mat. Sean picked Zooey back up to her feet and whipped her into the ropes but missed a clothesline as Zooey narrowly ducked under Seans arm. Zooey was able to counter this and hit a perfect swinging neckbreaker. Zooey covered Sean but he was only able to pick up a two count before he kicked out. Both competitors would soon get back to their feet and Zooey was able to back Sean into the corner with a quick flurry of strikes and kicks, showing off her muay thai skills without giving Sean a second to respond. Sean attempted to free himself from his position trapped in the corner but Zooey was unstoppable. She continued to throw chops and strikes onto Sean until the referee counted to four and this caused her to back out of the corner and let up. As Zooey was distracted with the referee, Sean took the opportunity to blindside Zooey with a roaring elbow. Sean picked Zooey up from the ground and set her up for a powerbomb, which nailed with perfect execution. Sean then went for the cover but Zooey kicked out after two. Sean picked Zooey up, looking a bit frustrated as he did and she began to throw elbow strikes into his gut to counter. The two continued to trade elbows and punches until Sean managed to get the upperhand by throwing a hard knee into Zooey's gut, followed by a perfectly executed inverted DDT. Before Sean went for a pin but Zooey countered by rolling Sean up with a small package. Zooey picked up the two count before Sean ended up kicking out. The two got up and traded more blows before Zooey whipped Sean towards the ropes. He bounced off of them and she bent down, looking to flip Sean over her back. But he countered this as he went for The Beantown Strike (a running knee strike to the head) but Zooey ducks it and catches Sean in the Xū̀ tāy (Bridging Arm Triangle Chokehold). Sean struggles and refuses to tap before he passes out defiantly. The bell rings but Zooey refuses to let go of the fiery Callaghan. WINNER Zooey West-Jaa METHOD Submission MATCH LENGTH 7:12 FINISHING MOVE Xū̀ tāy POST MATCH This causes Ryan Callaghan to get up from the announcer table and as he goes to enter the ring, he is cut off by none other than JENSON IDOL! Jenson nails Ryan with an FC Cutter (RKO). Liam Callaghan is now running down the entrance way and he’s cut off too! This time by Kyle West-Jaa, who takes Liam out with a running knee strike from out of nowhere. Jenson and Kyle enter the ring as Zooey finally lets go of Sean and she calls for a microphone. Zooey West-Jaa: I AM the rightful Liberty Champion, I am done sitting back and letting others take my spot. I’m done being the good and kind girl who waits her turn… fuck that and FUCK YOU Nathan. “Bad Company” by Five Finger Death Punch blares over the PA system and out walks Nathan Callaghan with his bat in his hand and a grin on his face. Nathan Callaghan: Do you really think all of that is going to get under my skin, Zooey? I’m over my ex-wife being dead and my kids taking a beating just now? They’ll recover by next week. You know what that means? That means they’ll be ready to fight again. Nathan nods confidently before continuing on. Nathan Callaghan: You want a shot at the Liberty Championship? You’ll get one… If you beat my family these next few weeks, leading up to our next super? Then you’ll get your shot. Zooey looks back across the ring where Jenson and Kyle stand either wide of her flanking her, she smirks and brings her attention back to Nathan with a curt nod. Zooey West-Jaa: You last. She quickly holds a hand up to silence anyone around her and nods once again. Zooey West-Jaa: I'll beat your boys, all three of them. Hell add your daughters, your daughters in law and whatever cousins you can scrape up from the bottom of the garbage… I’ll beat all of them, every single one. And then, when I do… I want you, right in the middle of this ring so I can show EVERYONE what a tired old loser you really are. Nathan laughs out loud for a moment before nodding and pointing his bat towards the ring at Zooey. Nathan Callaghan: You know what? You’ve got balls. You want me last? You got it, sweetheart. Nathan turns to leave before turning back around and grinning. Nathan Callaghan: Oh yeah, and if you lose? You can never compete in Liberty Pro again and there’s not a damn thing you or Maybelline can do about it. Nathan drops the mic and then turns and exits to the backstage area. For a moment Zooey looks taken aback by the added stipulation but she almost immediately shrugs it off, instead turning to face Kyle and Jenson once more and, after surveying the damage in their wake, pokes her boot at the still outcold Sean Callaghan, mocking him in a whiny tone with words that can’t be picked up by the ringside mics. |
BACKSTAGE
Backstage Scotty Latimer is found with his head down as he is bent over looking at the floor with a hoodie over his head.
SCOTTY LATIMER:
Did you get the message last week Keira? Obviously you didn't….because you were foolish enough to go behind closed doors after you woke up from the message I sent to you last show and demand a match with the real Gotham champion.
Scotty take a big sniff of his nose as the bearded Brooklyn native finally looks up and strokes his beard then looks back into the camera.
SCOTTY LATIMER:
You know it's getting old me explaining why I did what I did to the phony. Everyone keeps saying oh well it's just him reacting to losing to Kaelen McLaughlin and not winning the U.S title. Newsflash! I would have still done it. Why you ask? Because I'm still the Gotham champ, and honestly I would have expected the U.S champion who had his title rightfully ripped away from him when this place went into hiatus and came back to be just like me. But obviously no one besides me believe that winning and losing in the ring should decide who a champion is not some bookworm horseshit office move. Let that shit go down with the U.S and Liberty titles, it's not going to happen with my Gotham title.
Scotty starts slapping his face on both sides.
SCOTTY LATIMER:
So my match tonight with Ms. Hanna isn't for the title. Even though it should be because I'm the real champion, as as the real champion I'm willing to put my belt on the line. But what have you done little miss ballet dancer turned jiu jitzu jerkoff turned supposed professional wrestler? You are a phony walking around calling yourself the Gotham champion. Tonight I prove you aren't even in my goddamn league. Tonight after I embarrass you in your mind you'll question your newest career move then go look for something else to call yourself. Tonight you meet the real Gotham champion, you meet the beginning to your end. You meet the Ace of Liberty Pro. Stretch out kid, you're gonna need it.
Scotty quickly jumps to his feet and throws the chair hard towards the side startling the camera. The hood stays up as cold eyes stare into the camera as he finally smirks and smacks the gum in his mouth before exiting slowly to his left and ending the scene.

BACKSTAGE
The camera abruptly cuts over to a new scene, treating viewers to a brief second of feedback before completely coming into focus. Karen Willow, somehow not dead after jumping off a ladder and landing on her face, is seen smiling smugly at the camera. Which, you know, is a bit weird given her comments on social media as of late. Pretty sure she said she was gonna die.
The camera zooms out slightly, bringing more of her into fra- Wait.
That can’t be right, because not even Karen is this bold/outright stupid.
That’s a “Classic Laughlin” shirt she’s wearing.
What the fuck Karen.
Karen
“Before you start calling me dumb for wearing this, the money goes to them. It’s not like I bought it second hand. Relax.”
I mean… fair point, I suppose. But still.
Karen
“Before I begin, let’s just address the big elephant in the room, shall we? Let’s get to the bottom of things. Why did I go needlessly personal in this match with Kaelan Laughlin.”
A fair question. Karen doesn’t seem to wither away or stammer for an excuse. She’s still looking directly into the camera, eyes twinkling.
Karen Willow
“Honestly? No good reason. Just did.”
Talk about anticlimactic. It’s like announcing you won a title, then revealing it’s the CWF Championship.
Actually that might be worse.
Karen Willow
“Look, I know it’s easy to use a cop out and say ‘I’m 18, I just left high school, it’s just what I do,’ but that would be bullshit. I did it because I thought it would hit where she didn’t expect. I thought hitting old wounds, like Dylan, would hit hard and throw her off. It’s not a good reason, and it’s not exactly the smartest move. But I’m not gonna pretend it was something else. I’m able to admit what I’ve done.”
All well and good, but you’re still wearing the shirt. And the smug grin.
Karen Willow
“Now I’ve said Kaelan’s gonna kill me, I’m gonna die, police will never find my body because Kaelan and Bryan dropped me in the middle of a canyon and the wolves came by. You get the point. Been preparing for an ass whooping here. After the shit move I pulled, I deserve it. Not gonna shy away from that.”
This is the oddest strategy I’ve ever seen heading into a match.
Karen Willow
“Then again, what does it prove if Kaelan beats me?”
…. I’m sorry what? The question lingers in the air as Karen shifts her body ever so slightly, one foot moving in front of the other as she holds that pose.
Karen Willow
“I mean, I’ve been upfront about who I am from the moment I arrived. I’m a shitty wrestler, I don’t have flashy moves, I just poke people in the eyes and low blow them on most occasions. I’ve been learning more and more thanks to PW Neo Academy and Danny, who is my person, but it’s not like I’ve become some master wrestler in the months I’ve been an official wrestler. Hell, I couldn’t take a bump until March.”
Given that March was less than two months ago, that’s a horrifying thought.
Karen Willow
“I’ve told everyone that I’m not the best, that I’m one of the worst, but I still show up and try. I’ve got more losses than wins, but at least I’m not a useless lump. I’ll stand toe to toe with anyone and everyone, I’ll fight like mad, because there’s nothing for me to lose in a match. There’s no status at stake, because I’ve never shied from the truth. There’s no reputation, because I’m a rookie in her first two months as a wrestler. There’s nothing for me to lose by taking on challenge after challenge, and unlike Keyshawn Reed, I’ll stick around even if it means another beating. I’m still here, you fucks. You’re not getting rid of me.”
Karen folds her arms over her chest, head slightly tilted to the side as she places her right index finger on her chin.
Karen Willow
“Now Kaelan? She’s a US Champ. A four time champ. Quag Cup winner. She’s got status and reputation and a title, and those are things that can either be taken away or knocked down a bit. And losing to Karen Willow, a barely trained rookie? Well… fuck me that would be embarrassing for her. Whether it shows on her face or not, Miss Irish Rose would detest the thought of me beating her. It’s why she’s dismissive and aloof this past week. She doesn’t want to entertain the thought. Better to act like I barely exist rather than see me as a challenger.
Actually, maybe that’s why I was doing this. To get her to acknowledge me. Huh.”
What an odd moment to get self reflective. Clearly Karen agrees, as she shakes her head free of that thought.
Karen Willow
“My point is, Kaelan has very little to gain by beating me. Maybe cathartic release, but in terms of status and reputation, who did she beat? Just an extremely cute and loveable wrestler. That’s all. This isn’t a match she needs to really put in effort, and that’s what I’m counting on.”
The smug grin is replaced by a confident look, Karen standing straight up so the camera sees all 5”3 of her as she smiles.
Karen Willow
“It’s cliche, it’s corny, but I want Kaelan to overlook me. I want her to not concern herself with Karen Willow, to come into this with that aloofness she’s shows since this match was announced. I want her to look past me to her next match, her next opponent that has more meaning then I do, because that’s when I’ll strike. And the best part is she won’t expect it from little ol me.”
Her grin is less smug and more mischievous, Karen glancing down at her choice of shirt.
Karen Willow
“Or she gets so angry that she makes a mistake. Which works too, I just need to survive long enough to make it to that point. Which is… doable, I think. Hell, I managed to survive that bullshit they called training, I can last long enough to catch her unaware.”
Karen glances up, and for a brief moment there’s no glint in her eye. No mischievousness, or smugness, or anything of the sort. Her lips tighten at the corners as her gaze softens, glancing to the bottom left before coming back to look into the camera.
Karen Willow
“Don’t ask.”
It seems that’s as much as we’re going to get to see of this Karen, her eyes blinking a bit rapidly before the twinkle in her eye is back. Her lips soften into a confident smile as she straightens up, tossing her hair back with a simple flick.
Karen Willow
“I can do this. I can do this, whether or not people believe in me. You can kick my ass, Kaelan, you can try and keep me down any way you can, but you’re gonna slip. You’re gonna make a mistake. No one is perfect, no one ever wrestled the perfect match, and the moment you slip up is when it’s all over for you. I don’t gotta outwrestle you…”
Her right hand comes up, tapping at the side of her head as she raises her eyebrows.
Karen Willow
“I just need to outsmart you. And I know I can do that.”
And with that, Karen Willow gives a sly wink before walking off, a spring in her step as she whistles a soft tune.

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Scotty Latimer vs Kiera Fay Hanna
Scotty Latimer vs Kiera Fay Hanna
RECAP This match opened up with a bang! Kiera ran forward, ducking under an attempt to clothesline her by Scotty, catching his shoulder and countering a hard hitting swinging neckbreaker, taking him to the ground. From the ground, Kiera tried to counter the decorated veteran’s size by having him on the ground, attempting to work her skills at submission, trying to end the fight early with an arm bar, only to have Scotty power out of it. Transition after transition happened, the younger competitor showcasing her amazing technical abilities while Scotty countered her with his raw strength and ability, using his size advantage and luchador ability to work the transition chains to counter her move for move. Finally, it was Scotty who emerged victorious in the exchange, countering a shining wizard attempt with a hard elbow strike to Kiera’s temple, crossing behind her and making the ring shake from the impact of her body as he executed a textbook snapdragon suplex! Still, even with the impact that could have ended the match, Kiera wasn’t down and out. She was moving to her feet just like Scotty was, and as the man came for her? She surprised him with a flying arm bar, taking him to the ground as she wretched his arm, struggling to snap on the move, but when she did? Victory was within her grasp, mere inches as she tried to force the former Gotham Champion to submit only to watch that in grasp victory slip from her palms as he managed to use his strength to crawl to the ropes and grab the bottom one, the ref forcing her to break the hold. Rolling to his back, and getting up, Scotty was refusing to look weak despite the pain going through his arm as he leapt up and moved to try and hammer Kiera with a springboard meathook clothesline that she ducked under, grabbing his arm and whipping him towards the corner rope, running after him, but as he hit the turnbuckles, he was stepping onto the second, then the third, building momentum as he back flipped off of it, and behind her, and as the bewildered Kiera turned around? SUPERKICK! Visibly stunned, the submission specialist was dropping to the ground as Scotty moved in for the pin but he only managed a two count! She wasn’t done, and to prove it, instead of immediately scrambling up, she went for a Kimura lock to try and work the already injured arm and shoulder of Scotty Latimer, but much to her dismay, he wasn’t having it, refusing to submit when he was just so close to victory, he was trying to out wrestle the pain dealing submission aficionado as she try to literally tear his limb asunder. There were a few moments where it looked like he’d tap before the man started to deliver heavy blows to her ribs with his free arm, only to position himself better, pushing up to his knees in that awkward position as he forced the transition, barely any strength left in the arm that Kiera had worked on demolishing. It was a slow rise to a crouch as Latimer demonstrated the strength and size disparity between them before… FINAL WAVE! Barely pulling off the finishing move, he was rolling over to try and take the pin, his arm and shoulder in complete agony as he rolled up Kiera for the three count and LATIMER WINS! The bell rings but Latimer isn't done. He grabs Kiera's Gotham Championship and he completely levels her with it. He then raises it above in the air, declaring the Gotham Championship his before taking the belt with him and leaving the ring, stealing the Gotham Championship! Felix was hanging back in the locker room, cigar tween his index and middle finger, casually puffing it as he watched the videos of his opponent on his phone, all but completely disinterested as Rusty sat next to him.
Rusty: "I think you need to take this match a lot more serious than you have been, Kid."
Felix: "I don't."
Rusty: "Just because he's a neophyte at this doesn't me--"
Felix: "Rookie, Vet. It doesn't matter. I broke Kaelan. New girl got lucky. I'm good, Russ. This kid's got nothing new despite being new. I'll knock his ass out of the equation then it's back to gravy trains on biscuit tracks."
Rusty shot a look of concern at his protege only to look over at the camera man, moving to knock the camera away.
Rusty: "Get outta here, you pinko commie fuck!"
The camera cut off in the scuffle!

The Liberty Pro cameras quickly cut to the backstage area of the Hammerstein Ballroom. They follow a trail of music, vibrant pulses of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Burnin’ For You” send the camera on a path leading to a kicked open bathroom stall. The center frame shows Tamsin, sittin on the throne. A wide-spread grimace is on her face, as she’s self-applying performance tape across her ribs. She says nothing, just managing a few gripes to escape her lips as she’s applying layer after layer. The smoke of a stubbed out cigarette lingers just barely, enough to make the woman’s eyes water. As the song reaches it’s creciendo, the Manx Axe Murderer looks up, acknowledging the camera. She immediately shakes her head, as she brings the tape up to her mouth. She tears into it with her incisors, ripping it to a part. She strains to sit upright on the toilet, and slouches over as soon as she finds her arch.
Tamsin: “Growing pains, ye know?”
She chuckles underneath her breath, as she makes a fist. She fires a few bullet fast punches into her own padding. Gritting her teeth, as she sits there quickening her pace of punching. Trying to find a numbing level of tolerance. Her face cracks into a crooked smile as we fade away from the back.

MATCH FOUR: SINGLES
Felix Graves vs Tyler Church
Felix Graves vs Tyler Church
RECAP The match starts with a clean lock up as both men fight for the upper hand. Using his strength, Church scoops Graves over and down to the mat with fireman’s carry. Graves pops back to his feet but is felled by a vicious short arm clothesline. Again Felix pops right back up but he’s disoriented and thus begins a series of suplexes from Church. An overhead belly to belly suplex, an exploder suplex, a German suplex and finally a Northern Lights suplex with a bridge that scores a count of two and a half. Stunned and disoriented Felix is swinging at ghosts before Church hoists him up high and drive him to the canvas with a sitout inverted powerslam. He hooks the leg with a confident smile and counts along with the referee… ONE… TWO...THRE… Graves gets a shoulder up and Tyler is stunned. He pulls at his hair in disbelief while complaining to the referee. Meanwhile Felix staggers to his feet all rubbery legged. Tyler charges at Graves but Felix counters with a spinebuster. Feeling the momentum shifting the crowd gets behind Felix as he climbs to the top rope and hits a Tomahawk Missile (missile dropkick). He hooks the leg and goes for the pin but Tyler kicks out at two. Felix isn’t deterred though as he rattles off a series of boxing combinations before finally falling Tyler with an uppercut. Really feeling the crowd at this point Felix motions for Tyler to get up. When he does he hoists him high in the air and goes for Mother of All Bombds but Tyler counters with a hurricarana pin. He gets a two count but Felix kicks out. Tyler is back on top of Felix quickly, taking him down with a German suplex but he doesn't let go as he picks him up and hits a second German suplex and then a third before bridging it into a pin but Felix kicks out again. Tyler decides to hit the top ropes to go for something big and he waits for Felix to stir. When he does, Tyler leaps off but Graves catches him and drops him with a Mother of All Bombs!!! He hooks the leg and the crowd counts along but Tyler kicks out at two and three quarters. Felix is beside himself, literally talking to himself, seemingly debating his next steps. It doesn’t take long before he pulls Tyler to his feet, tosses him into the nearest corner and then climbs to the top where he gets Tyler into position before delivering a devastating Mother Of All Bombs from the top rope! The ring shakes from the impact and this time Felix secures the three count but Tyler showed off his resilience, as it took multiple finishers to put Church down. Felix pulls him up and shakes his hand but Tyler waves him off before exiting the ring, obviously frustated by the loss and the blatant disrespect Felix showed heading into the mathc. The cameras go backstage to find Kaelan Laughlin standing with her United States Championship draped over her shoulder. She has a smile on her face.
Kaelan: “I became the Liberty Pro United States Champion just like I said I would. Many tried to doubt me. Scotty even cared right up until he lost to me. Then he acted like it was no big deal to lose because he wanted a different title. Well if you ask me? You would have looked better Scotty going for Two Belts and doing something nobody else in this company has yet to do. Hold both the United States and Gotham Championships, but it’s okay. You couldn’t handle that kind of pressure.”
Kaelan laughed and shook her head. Pausing for a moment as she looked away from the camera, sighing and then looking back into the lens.
Kaelan: “I wish you luck Scotty in your quest to become the Gotham Champion again, but this week it’s a new show and with that comes a new opponent. Tonight I face Karen Willow. You know when people like Karen come along to face me I try to look back and remember when I first started out, or at least my first year or so. How bright eyed I was. How every opponent seemed like a great opportunity. How I had respect for all these people, and I never fully understood why they turned their nose up to me or why they treated me a certain type of way. I used to think it was because I was Irish, but that wasn’t really it.”
Kaelan smirked at the camera and adjusted her belt on her shoulder for a moment as she licked her lips.
Kaelan: “It was because I hadn’t done a damn thing to earn their respect. Karen might have had a chance to earn my respect by the end of the night, but then she really didn’t like she wasn’t getting a lot of attention from people. She didn’t like that people put me as the clear favorite to win in our match, so she decided to as she claimed read tweets from six months ago and think that was a good idea to bring into this. My personal life. Which is in a completely different state and honestly? I’m sick of apologizing and addressing all this dumb shite at this point. Either people accept the apology or they don’t, but I think it’s best for your health if you move on. I have, and look what it’s gotten me.”
Kaelan held her belt up with a grin as she tapped the front plate to the US Championship belt. She bounced on her feet a little before settling down and letting the grin fade from her face as her eyes narrowed.
Kaelan: “Karen you can go ahead and try to get attention on social media by saying the same worn out tired lines that people who are far more successful than you’ll ever be have said. That’s fine. I don’t need to drag up every mistake you’ve ever made in your life. Truthfully I don’t give a shite what mistakes you’ve made. Who you’ve fucked, or even currently are fucking. Hell I don’t even care what you did in a ring six months ago. I care about what you are doing now, and you can’t say anything about anyone else being hit or miss because you’re sitting in the same boat. I won’t be stupid and completely write you off in this match, but I’m not saying I don’t like my odds to win. You know why? Because I’m the Liberty Pro United States Champion and I don’t plan on losing a match that should showcase and further solidify my place as said Champ. You said I’m performing at seventy five percent right? Well when I beat you tonight what does that say about you? You’ve done nothing but devalue and demoralize yourself up until this point. Dance little monkey for the social media junkies. It won’t mean anything when I lay you out on the mat, or I make you tap out because I’m the champ, and you couldn’t survive twenty five percent of what I’ve been through. So take this loss as a lesson, when you poke the fox? You get knocked the fuck out.”
Kaelan smirked and wrapped her arm around her belt with a smirk before walking off camera leaving the scene to fade to black.
RINGSIDE
With the ring already set up for the interview between Ari Fuentes and Xavier Laroux, it seemed as if things were about to be under way. Suddenly, the sounds of Your Favorite Drug by Porcelain and The Tramps filled the air, that jam packed audience raising to their feet with boos raining down. Those black velvet curtains were thrown open and stepping through them was none other than the aforementioned 'YOUR Favorite Drug' Xavier Laroux.
Laroux was decked out in his not so finest blue denim jeans and a white tank top that clung to his upper half. Looking out at the booing crowd, he couldn't help but to laugh, shrugging those shoulders of his rather nonchalantly.
The arrogance was just rolling off of Laroux as he started making his way down the ramp. Mostly ignoring the negative things spouted off at him by the audience, though occasionally talking shit back to them. Once he got up to that ring, Laroux rolled in under the bottom set of ropes before getting back up to his feet. He looked over at Astrid, flashing her that oh so arrogant smirk and a wink to top it off.
As Laroux makes his way to his seat beside Astrid, Ari’s music hits. After a long pause it becomes obvious Ari will not be joining them when the stage remains empty. The crowd seems a little confused and when the camera pans around to find her sisters in the audience, they aren’t able to locate them at all.
Astrid Rayner: I’m… just being told that due to a personal matter, Ari won’t be joining us for this interview after all.
Astrid looks to Xavier and sighs softly, putting a smile on her face.
Astrid Rayner: Would you like to continue the interview anyway?
Literally waving off the thought of Ari, Laroux turned his attention to Astrid, nodding his head.
Xavier Laroux: I mean, there's alottabit I'd rather be doin with you, but I guess we can get on with it. Tho, I guess it depends on how deep with the questions we get.
Astrid smirks but maintains a professional aura about herself, glancing down at the pad on her lap, she then looks back to Xavier and brings the mic close to her lips.
Astrid Rayner: Ari Fuentes has called for you in a cage match, how do you feel about that?
Bringing his hands up behind the back of his head, his fingers laced in that spot.
Xavier Laroux: Can you really blame her? I mean, wouldn't you wanna be locked up with me? Ari's problem is simple. She's got all these repressed urges and feelins..but she can't act on'em cause she's stuck on that dead fuck Liam. It's drivin her up the wall. Look how quick she went for my stuff in that match. That was justa lilbit of the depravity floatin around in that poor girl's unsatisfied head.
Astrid Rayner: You seem to be doing a pretty good job of getting in her head, it’s almost impressive… last show there was an altercation between the two of you outside her locker room… seems like you know something we don’t?
Xavier Laroux: Oh, you mean that. Ari shouldn't have anythin to be ashamed of embarrassed of. It's no secret that she's got it goin on. Pales in comparison to you tho.
After that quick comment, Laroux's smirk grew larger.
Xavier Laroux: But like I was sayin. That. Ain't nothin wrong with that. Hell, even I did a lilbit back in the day. Iunno what it is. Does she think she can't be a certain type of way just cause who she's with and who his dad is? That's no way to be. You should never hafta not be who you are just to please someone else. Don't you agree?
Astrid pauses and then looks back up the ramp for a moment before shaking her head.
Astrid Rayner: Sorry X, I’ve just been informed that one of Ari’s sisters are missing and that’s why she hasn’t made it down for the interview… we’re going to have to cut this short so I can go backstage and help in the search efforts… is there anything else you’d like to add?
Moving his head from side to side, as if looking to see if anyone was watching or listening.
Xavier Laroux: I've been out here the whole time. Now go on, get outta here. Hate to see you go, but love watch you leave.
Astrid gives him a reproachful look and follows it up with a smile and a kiss to the cheek to thank him for his understanding, leaving him alone with the mic, she disappears backstage.
Xavier Laroux: Alright, y'all heard the lady. Interview's over. Go buy some shirts

MATCH FIVE: SINGLES
Karen Willow vs Kaelan Laughlin
Karen Willow vs Kaelan Laughlin
RECAP Kaelan starts off the match by trying to bait Karen by verbally barbing as the pair circle each other, Karen gives her a smirk, obviously letting the comments roll off her back. Karen pulls Kaelan into a lock up and despite the struggle, Karen pulls her in and with a sweep of the leg slams her down into her back, driving her knee into the gut of Kaelan, before pulling her back up for a release German suplex that sends Kaelan flying across the ring. The young upstart, Karen Willow, allows Kaelan to back into the corner before following up with a running knee strike, grabbing the ropes she drives her knee into Kaelan over and over, not wanting to relent against the US Champion until the official forced her to break away. As Karen backs up, Kaelan drops and rolls to the outside, dropping down to her knees she takes a moment to catch her breath as Karen leans over the top rope and calls for Kaelan to get back in the ring. Laughlin jumps up and uses the apron to propel herself, hanging Karen up on the top rope, Karen falls back and clutches her throat as Kaelan slides back into the ring and begins to stalk her opponent. Karen goes to her hands and knees but Kaelan slides in and grabs Karen, locking in a rear choke hold. As she wrenches on the hold Karen’s arms grab for the ropes that are just a little too far away, when Karen then starts to throw elbows back but is not connecting it looks like she may tap. But an elbow followed by a headbutt focus Kaelan to break the hold and grab at her nose, Karen is to her feet, shaking it off as Kaelan sits back on her heels, Karen takes her down with a bicycle kick and moved back up to her feet. Coming off the ropes she lands a second hard kick to the face of Kaelan, then drops for the cover, only getting the two count before Kaelan kicks out, grabbing her head Karen bounces it off the canvas before Kaelan climbs up the top ropes and looks to go for something big. She leaps off, going for a flying elbow drop but Karen rolls away just in time and Kaelan bounces off of the canvas. Kaelan is quick to follow her and the pair begin slogging it out on the outside, after trading some shots, Kaelan swings Karen into the barrier, the thud is heard through the arena, but when Kaelan goes to pick Karen up, she grabs a handful of hair and brings Kaelan face down into the barrier, the pair continue to battle it out as the official counts. Kaelan throws Karen back into the ring but before Kaelan can get into the ring herself, she’s hit from behind with a chair by… TASMIN!!! The bell rings and Laughlin is declared the winner by DQ. Tasmin continues to slam the chair over Laughlin until it’s bent and she then tosses to the the side before yelling out to the ground that she runs Liberty. The fans boo as Tasmin can’t help but cackle before Karen goes to chase her off and Tasmin exits through the crowd. BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts to the backstage area and we are focused upon the tag team duo known as Double Trouble. Things are different for them tonight as Daya is set to compete in singles action for the first time which is why she is dressed in her ring gear all ready to compete. Her nerves starting to get the better of her as she takes a few deep breaths and starts to shake her hands around in an effort to loosen up a little bit.
Daya Matias: No pressure or anything, right?
Mimi pats her tag team partner on the shoulder, with a gleeful smile on her face.
Mimi Smith: You've got this, Daya. I'll be right there ringside to see you win this big triple threat match for us, but mostly for yourself. Double Trouble's double trouble because we're both trouble.
As she blinks a little at the thought of trying to say that again without getting tongue tied. Daya laughs as she raises one eyebrow slightly.
Daya Matias: I bet you can’t say that three times fast!
Confidently clearing her throat, Mimi's eyes go up as she's thinking about the words before a little chuckle.
Mimi Smith: Double Trouble’s double trouble because we're trouble. Double Trouble's trouble doub-bleh…
Before sticking her tongue out and abruptly giggling at herself. Suddenly through the magic of some crafty CGI imagery, a moving Meowth appears at the left hand corner of the screen, and there is a mischievous glint in his eye as he begins to lick at his paw before rubbing over the top of his head catching the attention of both members of Double Trouble.
Meowth: That’s right! It’s Meowth!
Mimi looks down completely floored by it and looks over to Daya, who was certainly more than double the Meowth fan Mimi was and that much is obvious by the big smile that is forming on her face. She claps her hands together with excitement as she begins to laugh.
Daya Matias: Oh my God! He looks so adorable!
Meowth: Of course! That comes natural for me, just like it comes natural for you girls.
Mimi Smith: He has the accent and everything.
Mimi says grasping at Daya's arm who keeps her gaze firmly focused upon the little CGI Pokemon that’s moving around on the floor, purring as he does.
Meowth: I’m here for your big match tonight Daya!
Daya Matias: He must be my good luck charm.
Daya snaps her fingers together as if she was putting all of the pieces together so all of it could make some sense. A smug expression upon her face as she nods her head fully convinced that it the case while Meowth continues to dance around in between herself and Mimi.
Meowth: You’re going to show Bristow and Rylee what you’re made of!
Mimi Smith: And you're going to get a big Pay Day!....
Then an idea crosses Mimi's mind. Since they were Double Trouble and they had a Meowth, she couldn't help herself.
Mimi Smith: Prepare for Trouble…
Daya Matias: Make it Double…
Mimi Smith: To Protect the World from Devastation…
Daya Matias: To unite all peoples within our nation.
Mimi Smith: To Denounce the evils of truth and love…
Daya Matias: To extend our reach to the stars above.
Mimi Smith: Mimi!
Daya Matias: Daya!
The CGI Meowth jumps up into the air as he holds one paw up with a big meow.
Meowth: And Meowth, that’s my name!
Mimi pauses to clap at the cuteness until she gets a jab in the hip from Daya to continue.
Mimi Smith: Double Trouble blasts off at the speed of light!
Daya Matias: I’m coming for you Bristow and Rylee, I’m ready for a fight!
Before the CGI Meowth jumps high and adds.
Meowth: That's Right!
And Mimi then gives Daya a little nudge.
Mimi Smith: Don't forget to pet him for good luck.
Daya laughs as she nods her head and reaches out with one hand to start petting Meowth who responds with some purring noises making it clear he’s quite happy.
Daya Matias: There’s no way I can lose now, not with Meowth right here.
Mimi Smith: It's impossible for you to lose now. Right, Meowth?
Meowth: I predict a big BIG pay day coming your way!
And with those words, Meowth starts to throw some coins around, laughing as he does in the promise of a victory for Daya here tonight in her big singles match debut.

Rylee Harper: Honestly, I don't know what to say about our losses the past few weeks.
She shakes her head and looks up at the sky.
Rylee Harper: As a tag team we are supposed to work hard together and we have, but it just seems like something is missing. We are clicking, yes but it just seems like we can't get over that hump. It is just something we have to live with and work on and we will. Just hopefully we will get it. But tonight isn't about tag team matches it is about a triple threat match and it is something that I want to win.
She smiles as she looks at the camera.
Rylee Harper: To have a chance in this match I have to be smart and use my speed and I just can't get into trouble. I will do what it takes to win, because I need it and it will prove that I can do this on my own. Yes, I still love tag team wrestling but I want to be an all around wrestler and a singles match can do that for me.
She slowly gets up and looks at the camera.
Rylee Harper: Bristow, and Daya will be a tough match and I get that. I just know that they want the win just as much as I do. No matter what happens though I will have a smile on my face. I will keep on fighting and yes it will be tough but that is what this business is. I just can't let it get into my head and maybe I have. But I am hoping my luck changes and I will change it when I get my hand raised.
She smiles and walks off as the scene fades.

Rylee then gets in the ring and Bristow hits her with a few stomps. He tries to put her onto the table but Rylee shoves him away before nailing him with a filthy enziguri. Bristow falls down onto the table and Rylee climbs the top rope and hits a frog splash, sending Bristow through the table. Rylee goes for the pin but Daya enters the ring and she picks Rylee up and throws her out of the ring. BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage where Ethan McCall is giving a slight pace in the hallway. He has his ring gear on with a black Liberty Pro brand shirt over top. He nods his head a bit, seemingly going through the thought process he needs to have for his match later in the night, when he notices the cameras and gives a faint smile. He walks closer to the camera and gives his stubbed chin a slight rub.
Ethan McCall: Tonight isn’t about the gifs and Star Trek mentions. Tonight is about what happens in the ring between Knox and myself. You see with Knox, the guy has made a nice buzz about himself on Twitter where he’s caused issues for almost anyone who has befriended him. His various personalities have popped up and all played people around for one thing and that’s whatever selfish goal he’s had his mind set on. But that’s about it. For all the controversy and issues he’s caused on social media, he’s not really done anything in ring. Won a few matches here or there but other than that, what has any personality living in Knox’s head done of note in the ring?
Ethan shrugs his shoulders and slightly shakes his head.
Ethan McCall: I guess it’s not from lack of trying since he’s been on the payroll of a handful of companies since he and his sister showed up. But the only consistent thing is he’s burned out in each and every one of them without doing anything of note in the ring. I’ve been around about the same amount of time and while I haven’t taken over a companies twitter and posted half naked pictures of the General managers, I have won the top championship in Youngbloods. I also went exceptionally far in the Young Guns Cup. I won a championship in SSWA and now I’m on my way here in Liberty Pro. That’s the biggest difference with myself and Knox. He builds it up, gets eyes on himself and then doesn’t deliver. I build on my momentum and show out each and every time I’m in that ring.
He lets a sigh escape him.
Ethan McCall: Knox has a variety of strikes in his game and has a good mix of MMA moves. But I cut my teeth at RAWGRAPS and that’s exactly what I know how to battle against. I’m bigger, I’m faster and I’m damn stronger than Knox. So while he might be the big complex thinker? He’s yet to put that skill to something useful in the ring. He wants to shock and awe people, throw them off their game before the match even starts. I’ve had to deal with Kymmy Olliver for most of my career, so while Knox might have that android brain? It’s just not that compatible with his human body. I know this is going to be a great match… But it’s a match I fully plan on winning.
A big smile comes to his face now as he gives the camera’s lens a tiny tap before walking away.

Knox vs Ethan McCall
RECAP As soon as the bell sounds Ethan bursts out of his corner and overwhelms Knox with a barrage of closed fists that back him into the corner. Ethan switches to kicks and stomps a mudhole in Knox. He backs up enough to come charging in with a running knee that smashes Knox's head into the middle turnbuckle. Ethan drags Knox into the middle of the ring and tries for the cover but Knox kicks out fiercely at two. Ethan hooks him for the Exploder suplex but Knox elbows his way out of it. Ethan swings wildly and Knox just manages to duck it and drop him with a cutter. Knox scrambles into the cover and Ethan powers out at two. Knox picks McCall up but as he lifts Ethan , McCall delivers a hard back elbow upside the head. Ethan connects with a snap DDT but chooses to deliver more punishment as he picks Knox up and drops him with a German suplex. Ethan goes to pick him up again but Knox shoves him off and delivers a hard boot to the chest. Knox then charges in with a spear into Ethan into the turnbuckle. McCall drops and Knox climbs the top rope before leaping off with an elbow drop which connects. Knox hooks up the leg but Ethan still manages to kick out at two. Knox hooks Ethan up for a suplex but he counters into a suplex of his own, dropping Knox carelessly into a backbreaker. Ethan heads up to the top rope but Knox rolls to the apron. Ethan follows after him only for Knox to grab a hold of his ring attire and dump him out at ringside. Knox drags himself up and leaps from the apron only for Ethan to catch him. McCall rushes Knox's back into the turnbuckle with a loud thud and then launches him back into the ring. Ethan gets on the apron and Knox tries to get the jump on him. Ethan blasts him with a closed fist and then shoves him back, causing him to collide with the referee. The ref goes down but Knox bursts forward with another shotgun dropkick that sends Ethan flying off the apron. Knox notices the referee out before he exits the ring and throws Ethan back inside. Knox then grabs a chair from under the ring and when Ethan comes to, Knox levels him! But wait! The referee saw it and calls for the bell. Knox simple shrugs and exits the ring, clearly he doesn’t care. Ethan soon gets up on his feet and yells at Knox, telling him this is far from over. After the commercial break, the show opens backstage, where we find the backstage interviewer, Astrid Rayner joined at this time by the Liberty Champion herself Helena Noir. Smiling at the camera, Astrid raises the microphone to her lips.
Astrid Rayner: Good evening ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to Liberation. My next guest needs no introduction, the Liberty Champion, Helena Noir. A couple of weeks ago, at Day Of Reckoning, you beat Honey and Warren Corbett in a triple threat to win your second title in Liberty Pro. How does it feel?
The tattooed woman looks down at the title laying on her shoulder, the slightest smile forming on her lips.
Helena Noir: You mean how does it feel to be at the top again? How does it feel after having considered retirement to come back and become top champion? It feels great, Astrid. It’s not the first title I’m holding, it’s not the first time I’m the face of a company, but it might as well be the last.
A moment of pause follows her ominous words.
Helena Noir: I’ve been doing this for six years now, and that’s longer than I would have expected. I’ve achieved more than I imagined I would, but I earned every single title I held, despite what people say. If I’m here tonight, standing in front of you as your Liberty Champion, is because I deserved it. And, make no mistakes, I’m here to stay.
Astrid Rayner: Tonight you have your first title defense, against Cartier. A match that you requested, even before winning that triple threat. Why?
The Liberty Champion nods, almost like she was expecting this question.
Helena Noir: I’ve always thought that, if you aim for the crown, you better have what it takes to take down the King. You don’t go to war holding a toothpick as a weapon, and that’s what Cartier was doing. I’m not like some of my predecessors, I’m not letting anyone talk me down. if you think you can disrespect me, you better be prepared because I’ll be the one coming for you.
Astrid Rayner: That’s understandable. Speaking of challengers, some may argue that Honey deserves another shot. You didn’t pin…
Helena cuts her short.
Helena Noir: She had her chance. I have no doubts she’ll do her best to earn another one, and she will probably succeed. I’ll be waiting for that day.
Astrid seems surprised by her answer, especially considering how Helena was the one pushing for Nathan to award the title back to Honey. But it’s pretty clear the Liberty Champion doesn’t want to talk about this matter.
Astrid Rayner: ...Ok then. Let’s talk about the future then. Later tonight there will be a rumble match to determine the next contender for the Liberty Championship, the one you will face should you successfully defend against Cartier. Anyone you look forward to face? Or anyone you’d rather avoid?
With no hesitation, Helena answers.
Helena Noir: Cyrus Riddle. He’s been a pain in my ass for quite some time, one of those who, just like Cartier, talk way too much. I can’t wait to shut him up.
Astrid Rayner: One last question for you, Zooey West-Jaa came back to Liberty and didn’t hide the fact that she’s coming for the title.
She lowers her head, her lips curling into a smirk. When she looks up again, her eyes are staring intensely in the camera.
Helena Noir: I can only hope that the day we will finally meet, Zooey, it will be because of what you have done in the ring, and not because you have some rich bitch blowing wind in your sails. Because that would be disappointing.
With that said, Helena turns on her heels and walks away, leaving Astrid no choice but to end the interview. The camera cuts back to ringside.

But what Tamsin doesn't see is that Kaelan is here for revenge! Laughlin levels Tamsin from behind with her US Championship, driving it straight into the back of her head. Kaelan stomps on Tamsin and then kneels down and delivers several closed fists to her face. Kaelan then picks Tamsin up and throws her into the brick wall several times before dropping her with a DDT onto the concrete. Laughlin then mutters how Tamsin is trash and if she doesn't stay out of her way, something much worse will be coming to her.

Helena Noir vs Cartier
RECAP The two women start to circle the ring to kick off their match for the Liberty Championship. Helena kicks off the match as she hits Cartier with a plethora of strikes and kicks but eventually Cartier catches Helena’s leg before dropping her with an exploder suplex. Cartier went for the pin but Noir kicked out after the two count. Cartier showed off her wealth of experience as she showed that she had her rival, Helena, scouted throughout the match by countering several strikes and moves. Helena eventually caught Cartier by surprise when she was taunting the fans and she took her down with a zig zag. Cartier stumbled back to her feet and Noir took her out with a jumping roundhouse kick. Noir pinned Cartier but Cartier kicked out after the two count. Helena picked Cartier up but Cartier hit her with a thumb to the eye, causing the referee to warn Cartier. Cartier shrugged the referee off before she hit a big brainbuster that puts Helena down and she tries for a pin, but to her surprise, Helena kicked out early into the count. Looking for a repeat, Cartier lifted Noir right back up into another suplex position, but Helena floated over and rolled the massive Cartier up for a two count. Helena started to gain momentum as she hit Cartier with a series of kicks and strikes before hitting the ropes and then taking Cartier out with a slingblade. Cartier began to get to her feet as Helena hit a springboard moonsault that took Cartier down and allowed Helena to keep control of the match. Keeping a competitor like Cartier down isnt an easy task, and when Cartier got up to her knees, Helena took her out with a hurricanrana driver. Helena pinned Cartier but Cartier kicked out after two. Helena hit the top ropes and she leaped off, going for a frog splash but Cartier lifted her knees in the air and they connected with Noirs ribs. Helena struggled to her feet, as did Cartier. They fought in the middle of the ring before Helena whipped Cartier into the corner. Helena backed up into the corner across from Cartier before charging forward, looking to go for a spear but Cartier launched out of her own corner with the Empire State of Mind (Kinshasa). Perhaps taking too long, Helenas slip up costs her big time as Cartier now pinned her. Helena looked done as Cartier pinned her and the referee was right about to count to three when Noir got her foot up on the rope. Cartier began to celebrate her victory when the referee waved her off, telling Cartier that Helenas foot was on the ropes. The two began to argue back and forth as this gave Helena a chance to get back to her feet. Cartier noticed and she charged Helena, going for her patented Empire State of Mind again but Noir ducked it. Helena turned around and was met by a hard knee to her gut from Helena. Noir then nailed Cartier with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke) and Cartier struggled in the hold, refusing to give up. Cartier reached for the ropes but it was no use, she was stuck in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go. Cartier refused to tap as Helena tightened her locked in hold. Cartier soon stopped struggling as she ended up passing out from the hold. The referee lifted her hand up in the air and it dropped, causing the referee to announce Helena Noir as the winner of the match via submission. EMMA COSCO: “That the moment where we moan and cry like Sam Tolson would? How we got robbed of being the rightful champions?”
The scene begins with Emma Cosco taking a bite off of a grilled cheese sandwich, while her legs rest on Willie Taylor’s lap. He was busy shoveling some fries into his mouth, hiding a grin.
EMMA COSCO: “Don’t get me wrong, folks. We’re annoyed, but we’re also no idiots. This is how the business works. You win some, you lose some. It might be the end of one chapter but certainly not the end of our book. Just keep one thing in mind, no matter who holds the titles, Wild Sleaze Baes are the best team in Liberty Pro. Period.”
She was winking at his boyfriend, stealing one of his fries. He obviously was used to it as he put them a little closer.
WILLIE TAYLOR: “Does anyone know why we are booked in this match at all?”
EMMA COSCO: “Because they needed people? Or they see potential.”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “But…”
Emma threw one of the fries after him, missing only by an inch. Moving slightly in her chair to get comfortable.
EMMA COSCO: “Does it really matter, Will? We treat every match the same, even if it is against it. It might surprise people on the roster but we have been fighting each other several times. And when i say fight, I mean matches where blood was spilled. We know no limits…”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “What about the backhole rule… wait, nevermind. Emma and myself we are fighters first. Sure we are together and have been for quite a while, but we always get the job done. Can’t be said for everyone in that match, right? Like you have those Honey’s, excuse me for not knowing who is who. At the end of the night it won’t matter though. Bashed in skulls all look the same, right?”
Emma nudged him with her foot, smiling.
EMMA COSCO: “Don’t forget Tamsin. You know the girl that gets her panties twisted if you call her Tasmin. Which by the way is a normal name. Call me ignorant but I don’t care much about the rambling of half mad midgets. Trying to get popular through a team that is as odd as entertaining. So blah blah, don’t care. If we are honest with each other, everyone knows where my attention rests. Dryhole Tolson and Propofol Anderson. Don’t think for a second that you will get out of this match with anything but broken bones. If we are honest, a makeover wouldn’t hurt Katie very much.”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “Who would have thought that Anderson had a brain herself? It was so pretty obvious that she acts the way Tolwut wants her to. Nothing wrong with being a follower, but maybe the worst time to step up. Not sure you guys have noticed yet, but we are pretty laid back. We enjoy a good time just like everyone else. But if you piss in our cereals, we will make you eat them… .”
EMMA COSCO: “You know… some of them like that… I have seen it in a movie… “
Willie shook his head acting as if he was disgusted, but then bursted out laughing. He gently tapped Emma’s foot before taking off his sunglasses.
WILLIE TAYLOR: “Who cares what they like? They are so full of shit that they might like that too. I know there are several other people in this match, but I am sure one outshines them all. Cyrus Riddle. The Impaler with the dull stake. Someone that is here because of past achievements. Does anyone know where he has been hiding the past months? Not that it matters. Call for a title chance and they all come back. Unfortunately neither of us is intimidated by a long list of title reigns. We will work together till the very end, as always. And what if we are the last two standing in this ring?”
EMMA COSCO: “What then?”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “You know what, babe.”
For a moment nothing happened as they looked at each other. Way too serious for both of them.
EMMA COSCO: “I might have to explain it to the audience. When that happens, and make no mistake the chance is there, then you will get a worthy fight. Neither of us is going to lay down for the other. This is business. And as you might have heard before, sometimes it can be a mean bitch.”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “Not worse than you when you’re hungry.”
She kicked against his kneecap.
EMMA COSCO: “I love you too.”
WILLIE TAYLOR: “And I still don’t know why.”

Ethan McCall: Hey Nathan, with Tamsin being taken out of commission earlier... I was hoping you could let me take her place in the battle royal. I've been putting in work since I've signed here and I promise, if you give me a shot? I won't disappoint.
Nathan looks up at Ethan and shrugs.
Nathan Callaghan: Sure, whatever. The spot is yours but don't fuck it up like you did with your match earlier, okay?
Ethan chuckles and nods.
Ethan McCall: Sure thing boss, I don't see it being a problem seeing as there's no DQ's in battle royals. I got this.
