PERSONALITY INFO
Gimmick
Lizzie is in a strange period of her life. For a long time, following the end of her first run in wrestling, she turned away from even watching it. She's now overcome those mental obstacles and is ready to pick up where her short career left off when it was cut short, but she's not the same person she was back then. Now she's got a family, a kid; a reason not to be so reckless or carefree. Instead, she's a colder and more calculating individual than she was before - but her temper is no less tame and while her attitude may have calmed in recent years, she won't be willing to back down from anyone.
Strengths
She's shown the strength needed to overcome obstacles thrown her way
She has one hell of a drive to get whatever she is aiming to achieve
She's a fast learner and has come on leaps and bounds from her early days
Weaknesses
Despite her will to put it behind her, the past can haunt her at times
Her temper can definitely get the better of her
Given her hiatus, she's still relatively inexperienced in the ring

CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Lizzie rarely speaks much about her childhood, but it's known that in her teenage years her father left home after she outed herself as having a girlfriend at the time; with him unable to accept his daughter as anything but straight. From there, the family splintered and she spent the rest of her teenage years with her mother (her sister (Leanne) and brother (Matty) both went with their father.
She struggled academically but managed to scrape through and get herself into college, where she studied journalism and broadcasting. At the same time, she took up a role with a local radio station and began reporting on sport stories. Over time she was shifted to primarily covering local wrestling, boxing and MMA events. After college and with a few years' of experience already under her belt, she moved to a regional TV station.
Eventually she was spotted by Honor Wrestling, who signed her as an interviewer. She remained with the company until its first closure, after which she moved to the short lived Victory Wrestling and non-starter Code Red Wrestling. She then worked for FSociety (as a commentator) and FAW, before finally deciding to try wrestling for herself after tutolege from Misha LeCavalier, an ex of hers, and Alyssa Drew.
No longer under the guidance of her initial tutors, Jones took up lessons from a series of pros and gyms while looking for a professional contract. Her first promotion, SLAM, lasted barely a minute. After that she moved on to Hollywood Pro, where she found moderate success after initially struggling - winning their TV title. She went on to also work for Proving Grounds, with plenty of wins but no title success. After both companies closed, she moved on to fight for Vengeance Pro, winning their High Stakes Title, where she remained until Becky Balfour sidelined her with a cruel and sadistic attack which left her in a coma and broke her back, arm and ribs.
She formally and perhaps shockingly retired shortly after waking from the coma, despite projections she would make a full recovery. With her in-ring career in tatters, she next emerged at Bayou Independent Wrestling as an interviewer. This, too, was relatively short lived and only proved to her that she had lost her love of wrestling. The next time she appeared on a wrestling show in any capacity, she faced Jessica Anderson in what Lizzie decided should be her true final match. Jessica defeated her and Lizzie felt that maybe the fire had gone.
On a more personal level, Lizzie married Robyn Jones in 2018, mere months before her career was cut short. During her time away, she became a mother to Daniel, adopted by herself and Robyn. 2019 saw her venture into new things; a return to modeling and a little television work again. She's made more money than her wrestling career ever afforded her and lives a comfortable, happy life.
But the burning hate for Becky Balfour never truly died out; nor did the want to show that she can return from everything thrown at her. She needed time to recover, yes, to regroup and grow. She began to train in private, occasionally with her sister (under the guise of helping Leanne with her own fledgling career), or others such as Melissa Reeves or Jessica Anderson. She agreed to face Jessica for a second time, which in turn attracted the eye of Liberty Pro. Could it be that she could be persuaded into resurrecting her career? Jade Night hoped so and set about trying to achieve just that. Lizzie resisted initially, but began to listen when Jade mentioned Becky Balfour would be on their books.
A thirst for revenge overtook her and she decided to sign. First she would avenge herself and take Becky Balfour down, then she would set her sights elsewhere and look to bring her career back onto the path it should always have been on and herself right back into the limelight.
