PRE-SHOW DARK MATCH
The feed cuts to ringside for an unannounced dark match featuring two new recruits to Liberty Pro Wrestling. Brady Vega is waiting in the ring already, bouncing on his feet while shadowboxing. The commentary team mentions Brady has been around on the independent circuit since 2017 and is very excited to sign with Liberty. Suddenly they are cut off -
“Is she really going out with him?”
The lights cut. Drums start pounding, followed by the guitar riff of The Damned’s “New Rose”. A single spotlight shines down onto the stage as a scruffy haired man emerges, flanked by two smiling brunettes. There are murmurs across the arena at this unexpected arrival.
The commentators explain this is Oliver Thurston-Knott, a complete rookie but trained at Classic’s gym, the same place which produced the likes of Tamsin, Claire and Amira. The women alongside him are Ivy and Evie, the daughters of the late Billy Classic and the new owners of his famed gym. As the trio climb into the ring, normal lighting returns and the music begins to fade out. Oliver looks round the arena with narrowed eyes before settling on his opponent. He sneers towards him before leaning through the ropes and calling for a mic. Some random crew member obliges and OTK proceeds to tap the mic numerous times to check it’s on even when it obviously is. The rookie takes a deep breath and raises it to his pursed lips.
Before he has a chance to utter his first words in Liberty Pro - His leading ladies in Ivy and Evie step forth to break the ice.
Ivy: Oh no no no Ollie, you should have to get to that level to introduce yourself.
Evie: In my opinion everyone should already know who you are.
The both nod their heads in unison before stepping back to let Oliver take full center.
OTK: Well well well... what do we have here? Revolution in the flesh. Forced progression. Look around, take in your surroundings. How many of you are wearing Liberty merchandise? I bet you don't know where your cheap t-shirts were made and I bet you don't care. The sad reality is a kid slaved away in some godforsaken sweatshop to produce that rag. You thought Liberty was above the exploitation of the third world? Wake up.
He pauses as boos sound throughout the arena. He nods solemnly.
OTK: Yeah, nobody likes the cold hard truth. Are you all enjoying your refreshments tonight? What have they got over there at the concessions stand? Burgers? Hot dogs? I just want you to know that while you chow down on crushed pig muscle the poor guy selling it is on minimum wage. He couldn’t afford to be here tonight if he wasn’t serving it up.
He shakes his head from side to side, letting out a long sigh.
OTK: But the absurdity of it all is that despite benefitting off this slave labour, every one of us is a victim. Some of us suffer more than others but we’re ALL being held back by a brutal economic system. Things need to change. I’m just a catalyst. I’m Oliver Thurston-Knott.
He basks in more boos, looking at Ivy and Evie with a wry smile.
OTK: But hey, I get it. You didn't come here tonight for a lecture. You want to see a wrestling match and the Resurrection card is full of them, right? So watch one of those.
He gestures towards Brady Vega, who has his fists raised and ready to fight.
OTK: This imbecile isn't worth my time!
With a snort of indignation, Ollie drops the mic to the floor and rolls out of the ring, Ivy and Evie follow. The referee looks completely bemused as the trio walk back up the ramp, not even looking back. Brady Vega shrugs his shoulders as the match is called a no contest. The commentary team briefly discuss whether or not we'll see these two wrestle another time.

BACKSTAGE
[The cameras cut to backstage where Lilah Wood is already dressed for her match. Tape around her hands and kick pads to match her gold and white ring gear, she turns to face the camera with an easy smile on her face.]
LW: Nathalie… Do you actually think you stand a chance in this match? A bargain basement copy of an already reproduced to death, archetype of blonde bimbo wrestlers. You are everything that I hate about wrestling, you see girls who have worked for YEARS to get where they are, enjoying some praise and success and you wanna jump straight to relying on your looks instead of your talent. So it’s a real shame that you don’t appear to have either to spare…
[Lilah chuckles as she shakes her head.]
LW: I’m the first to admit that it’s been a while since I had singles gold, but I know what that’s like. I know how it feels to earn your way to something and succeed. And that’s what I’m going to do, unlike pretty much everyone else in those whole company, I haven’t stamped my feet and made a fuss and demanded things. I’ve worked my ass off and handled business time and time again, tonight won’t be any different.
[Lilah walks a little closer to the camera and indicates to her abs.]
LW: I am in the best physical condition of my life, training and in the gym every damn day. There isn’t a single woman on this roster who can claim the peak physical fitness that I have… and that’s going to make all the difference tonight. My training and my efforts are going to be what propels me through and allows me to take hold not just in this match - but all the way to being a champion and nobody. Especially not YOU. Is going to stop me!
[And with her parting words she flicks her hair and walks off down the hall.]

BACKSTAGE
We find ourselves backstage as Nathalie Genevieve is seen walking down the hallway, dressed in a new style of ring gear that features a bedazzled two-piece ensemble that features a print of green 100 dollar bills. She was exuding a tremendous amount of confidence with her ring jacket slung over her shoulder as she has her left pointer finger hooked in its collar. Just as she’s about to walk into the hair and makeup area to get her lashes applied, she is approached by the very dapper and put together Dante Chapel. He was adjusting the cufflinks of his shirt and looks up just before crashing full-on into Nathalie.
Dante: I’m sorry I… Nathalie. It’s been some time since your beautiful face.
Nathalie: Don’t waste your time Dante. Your flirtatious ways aren’t going to get to me.
Dante: I don’t know what you’re talking about. I was just paying you a compliment.
Nathalie just rolls her eyes as a small chuckle escapes from her lips. She then tucks a section of her blonde hair behind her ear.
Nathalie: Look Dante, I might be a blonde, but I am not stupid. I know that you have an excitement for beautiful women. I have heard your commentary about me from back in [R]evo Pro when I’ve watched my matches from there.
Dante: OK… OK… you caught me. But to be fair, could you really blame me? You are a very beautiful woman.
Nathalie: I’m also a very taken woman in a committed relationship with a man who I love to the ends of the earth. Shouldn’t you be doing interviews or something? I mean, that is your job.
Dante: I was actually on my way to my set up now. Would you care to join me so that I can get your thoughts on your match tonight for the Liberty Pro US Championship?
Nathalie thought about it for a moment, cocking her head to the side a little bit and tapping her temple. While she did have to get her false lashes put on before her match, she could spare a few minutes.
Nathalie: Fine… but you have to keep those flirtatious ways of yours in check.
Dante: Deal…
Dante steps to the side and allows Nathalie to pass, walking just behind her until they reach an area that’s well lit with a camera in front of a backdrop that was laden with the Liberty Pro logo. Dante shows her where to stand as he procures himself a microphone and joins her.
Dante: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with Nathalie Genevieve who has a chance to win her first-ever wrestling championship tonight as she goes into a fatal four-way for the Liberty Pro US Championship.
Nathalie: And this isn’t going to be like every other time… I’m actually going to be winning tonight.
Dante: Why do you make such a claim? It does seem to be a pretty bold one.
Nathalie: Because I think that I want this more than my three opponents. I also believe that I’m more deserving because I bust my ass every single show while one of my opponents is clearly someone who likes the sound of his own voice and can’t really back things up.
Dante: He… do you mean Brien Storm?
Nathalie: Of course I do. The guy will say any and everything to distract everyone away from the fact that he just can’t get the job done when it matters. I’ve seen him compete in a few places and each time he’s yapped and yapped like an annoying chihuahua who thinks he’s a pitbull and each time… it’s just been a total whomp whomp… if you catch what I’m trying to say. And I’m going to make sure he fails at getting a title yet again… his second one in like a week.
Dante: How about your other opponents?
Nathalie: Lilah is too busy posting photos of herself and retweeting tweets of Gavin Grimes. I really don’t think she’s got her pretty blonde head in the right mindset. She doesn’t know what she’s really getting herself into and she’s ill-prepared heading into the match tonight. At least she’s not ignorant… well ok, yeah she is a bit… but she’s not as bad as Brien Storm who has his head so far up his own ass he can’t see the sun shining.
Dante: Those are some pretty strong words there.
Nathalie: Yeah well… a bitch has some frustrations that she needs to vent. As for the other one, Kaia, she, like Lilah, seems a little bit too preoccupied with Danger and Play. She hasn’t posted much of anything in regards to the match or Liberty in general. She’s off retweeting other people’s stuff… much like Lilah.
Dante: Well, it could be said for you that you tend to post things that aren’t really relevant.
Nathalie: I thought we were on the same side here Dante. Sure, I post irrelevant stuff on my Twitter… but I at least mention my matches to hype them up. Lilah and Kaia are just… well there seems to be a bit more air than brain in their heads.
Dante: Well, well, well… it looks like that mean streak of yours is finally coming back to light. I have to say I’m quite intrigued at what’s going to happen tonight.
Nathalie: You’re not the only one. Though I’m sure that the only one who really gives a damn about this match is me.
Dante: Well I think that the match is going to be an interesting one that’s for sure. I’d say good luck, but I don’t think you really need it.
Nathalie: Ain’t that the truth!
And with that, Nathalie turned on the balls of her feet, twirling around her ring jacket as she slides it on and heads down the hall as the scene comes to a close.

MATCH ONE: US CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Lilah Wood vs Nathalie Genevieve
Lilah Wood vs Nathalie Genevieve
RECAP The match starts with Lilah dropping Nathalie with a hard clothesline. She gets up and she goes for another but she dodges it. Lilah gets up and Nathalie drives a knee into her gut before dropping her with an implant DDT. Nathalie goes for a pin but Lilah refuses to stay down and the two got into a back and forth battle, trying to outdo the other until Lilah dodges a superkick from Nathalie and slaps Nathalie into an effective hammerlock. Before Nathalie has a chance to attempt a reversal, Lilah takes her out with a cutter. She goes for the cover but Nathalie kicks out at two, refusing to give up in the early going. Lilah gets up and stalks Nathalie, waiting for her to get up to her feet. Lilah decides to climb the top rope, looking to go for something big. Nathalie stirs and Lilah leaps off of the turnbuckle but Nathalie saw it coming a mile away and she drops Lilah with a brutal superkick counter that takes Wood’s head off. Nathalie goes for the cover but Lilah manages to kick out at two. Nathalie picks Wood up and whips her to the ropes but she counters and whips Nathalie instead. She bounces off of them and Lilah connects with a cross body block that sent her to the floor and then she follows her out with a suicide dive through the ropes just as Nathalie began to get up and she takes her out, sending them both crashing to the ground. The referee begins to count the two out and Nathalie Lilah gets in the ring at the seven count. Nathalie slides back in at the nine count, just before the ten. Lilah is out of it as Nathalie steps back into the corner. Lilah gets up to her feet and Nathalie charges, nailing Lilah with a brutal flying knee strike. She goes for the cover and Lilah looks out for the three count but before the referee counts to three, Lilah just gets her foot on the ropes and the referee catches it. Nathalie is in shock. Nathalie gets up and retreats to the corner. She waits for Lilah to get up and she begins to stir. Lilah finally gets up and Nathalie charges. She goes for another flying knee strike but Lilah ducks out of the way this time. As Nathalie turns around, Lilah charges her and nails her a bicycle kick. Lilah pins Nathalie but shes near the ropes and at the two count, she reaches up and places her hand on the rope, showing her ring awareness. Another close call for the match. Lilah clearly looks frustrated as she begins to talk to the referee. Wood sighs and shakes her head before turning her attention back to Nathalie. As Lilah goes to pick Nathalie up, Nathalie counters and rolls Lilah up. The referees count gets to two and Lilah manages to kick out. The two get up and Lilah charges at Nathalie. Nathalie grabs the top of the rope and pulls it down, sending the charging Lilah over it but she lands on the apron. Nathalie turns and Lilah nails her with a forearm that sends her reeling. RECORDED EARLIER
“They return.”
“You can hear them coming.”
The streets fill with the hum of enthusiasm and laughter like the neighing of horses. Tonight New York is the epicenter of the wrestling world, and soon a crowd, which seems to have sprung out of the earth, is gathered round the Hammerstein Ballroom.
The regular hubbub of talk swells over the famous arena. High above the hustle and bustle of people lining up to catch a glimpse of popular superstars from Liberty Pro Wrestling, a figure stands looking down upon the masses.
“Fired by memories of what went before. Moments captured in hearts. Freeze frames of legends carved deep in minds.”
Emerging from the rubble that was her early September, Precious Pepper Vain stands on a rooftop. She looks out to the crowd like a shepherd that would like nothing more than to see the proverbial big, bad wolf descend upon her entire flock.
PPV: “But there can be no standing still. Time for new names. Tonight, history's fresh page awaits.”
She smiles a honeyed smile at the camera.
PPV: ”We go again.”
Precious begins to totter out into empty space. Not worried of the possibility of a fall, she casually hops onto the next building and roams the rooftops of the city of endless possibilities. All the while, she watches the faithful crawl into the ballroom like mice with big, glittering eyes.
Her careless attitude was not genuine; her heart was pounding. But she hoped the nervous excitement that rioted through her blood would stimulate her to Herculean efforts tonight.
PPV: “There’s few things more exciting than a supershow. No top wrestler gets to the end of their career and wishes they had fared better at the house shows or vanity shows. No, it’s shows like these that everything builds up to. I’ve gotten very high in Liberty Pro, but I want something more… defining. You know how things work in Liberty Pro? The strong survive.”
“You're either somebody or you fizzle out into nothing. Whether it’s trust, bonds, and rivalry, or jealousy, anger, and despair… when you turn your strongest emotion into the power that moves you forward, you will awaken.”
“As the great teacher said, by your fruits shall you know them… and in these next few weeks I can coat myself in titles the way a killer’s knife is laced with poison. We all know title reigns are the true currency of greatness in this sport. And if I surpass expectations, I have it in me to become the No.1 force in wrestling right now.”
The thought widens the Italian’s smile.
She speaks not just of the Liberty Pro crown, but of her coming opportunities in Valiant Wrestling and Union Battleground. But those are for another day. Tonight, her focus remains on the dominion of the Liberty prize.
PPV: “We got everybody fighting for a slice of Liberty Pro. Right now, Liberty’s the strongest it's ever been, but that doesn’t mean much to some. There are plenty, even in this company, who treat Liberty Pro like the nation’s ashtray. But I’m going to change that. The pride of LPW stands before me. And all that stands in my way is Xavier, Old Man Latimer and Helena…"
Her smile melts from her features and her eyes linger on us.
PPV: "It will get hot. Very hot. Of course there’s always the possibility of someone cashing in their Liberty in the Bank right after that… but I’ll leave that problem to when the time comes.
Right now, I’m all in on taking the seat of the strongest in Liberty. Besting 3 of the best LPW has to offer to date. In this, the first-ever fatal-4-way elimination match to main event a Liberty Pro Supershow. I’ve been itching for this since the moment I set foot in Liberty. Because now I can follow in the footsteps of Liberty’s biggest names in Ana Hayden, Mel Reeves, Becky Balfour and company… and slingshot myself past them. Open your eyes wide, Liberty Pro. Tonight, we go again. And just as Liberty Pro has done, my time as champion will be resurrected. Arriverdeci."

MATCH TWO: SINGLES
Jaxon Taylor vs Julio Banks
Jaxon Taylor vs Julio Banks
RECAP Two new faces in Liberty looked to make their mark with a win that will no doubt be one of the biggest of their careers. For the relative newcomer to the business Jaxon Taylor, tonight’s match is his chance to help establish his name and for his opponent Julio Banks, this match is meant to demonstrate that the past 9 years have been all about getting to this stage. And while this is only the second match on the show, it’s a huge stage for both men. Jaxon looks across the ring at his smaller opponent and Julio knows that he’ll have to rely on his young veteran status to keep himself afloat against the former football player. But early on in the match, Taylor looked like the veteran as he controlled the pace of the match with Banks. Anytime Banks tried mounting an offense, it only took one sturdy strike from Taylor to remind Banks that Jaxon is a 6’6”, 260 pound monster of a man. Julio made the mistake of trying to duke it out with Jaxon and paid for it, including a close call following a massive spear, known as Chaos, from Taylor that kept Banks down for a two count. The veteran quickly found himself as the underdog here, but there was still plenty of fight in him. As the match progressed, it was Julio’s heart and fight that helped him find his footing in this contest. At one point, Jaxon pressed his forearm up against Julio’s throat in the corner and kept the pressure applied as the referee went for a 5 count. As soon as Taylor let up, Banks took a cheap shot with a nasty sounding slap across Jaxon’s face that enraged the man and he’d charge right into the corner only for Julio to switch spots. Now in control, Julio looked to tire Jaxon out with two arm drags followed by a much deeper third that allowed Banks to work over Taylor’s arm and gave him some much needed momentum. The fans were treated to plenty of back-and-forth action as both competitors brought everything to the ballgame tonight. Julio looked to wrap things up as he tied Jaxon up with Bank On It, a cloverleaf aimed to put Taylor out of commission. The pressure was applied mightily, but it was the strength of Taylor that allowed him to grab the rope and break free from Banks’ hold. But Banks stayed on top of Taylor, pulling him back away from the ropes, and dropping an elbow onto Jaxon’s leg. Julio was starting to find his footing as he settled down and hyped the crowd up. Though Julio paid a bit too much attention to the crowd and while they were warming up to him, it gave Jaxon plenty of time to recover in between attacks. And just as Julio went to pick Jaxon up at one point, Taylor pulled Banks right down and sent him through the ropes to the outside. Meeting his opponent there, Taylor put the ringside environment to good use by sending Banks shoulder first into the turnbuckle post and then ramming Julio into the edge of the apron. Jaxon grabbed hold of Julio for a chokeslam and sent Banks crashing down onto the apron. After rolling Banks back into the ring, Taylor looked to wrap things up, but Julio somehow found it in him to kick out at two just again. However, it didn’t look exactly promising for The International as Jaxon picked Julio up for his JT BOMB! But Banks managed to float over the powerbomb lift up and flipped over the ropes to the apron. Taylor charged at him and Banks sidestepped it to deliver a boot right to Jaxon’s face! Jaxon stumbled back and Julio steadied himself to flip back in with his Cut The Check (Buckshot Lariat)! But that didn’t take Taylor down all the way and Banks reacted quickly by getting right back onto the apron to come in with a second Cut The Check! It took two of these massive lariats from Julio Banks before he could hook the legs of the monster Jaxon Taylor for the three count! WINNER Julio Banks METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 13:45 FINISHING MOVE Cut The Check |

Backstage Melanie Pianta is hanging around with the Anarchy Championship on her shoulder. She grins at the championship before turning her head towards the camera.
Melanie: Anarchy. That's the entire point right? The "theme" if you will for this championship, yeah? So why is it that someone who wasn't even the champion, cried so much when I won it? Kendrick Kross really helped make himself look like a little baby when it came to this one championship. That's why ya gotta give it up to Derrick La'Belle. He couldn't even be mad at me for winning it, he respected the hustle.
Melanie nods in impressed approval.
Melanie: And let's be honest, anyone would have done the exact same thing. Kenny is just mad he didn't do it first. What did he want me to do? Ignore the opportunity put in front of me? NOT try to win the wrestling match I was part of? Honey, what is the point in even fighting if my goal isn't to win? You can have a defeatist attitude but I ain't about that life boo. Don't worry, you'll see that tonight.
Winking at the camera Melanie turns and walks off as the scene fades.

For Kendrick this night was something that he had been looking forward to, he finally was getting his chance at the Anarchy Championship. It may be a triple threat but he really didn’t care about that at this point. The only thing he was concerned about was actually finally winning it.
Kendrick Kross: I have to win this tonight. There’s no other outcome that can happen. As much as I’ve worked for this? I have to win.
Kendrick was of course directing this towards Britney Anders who was standing in front of him as he leaned against a hallway wall in the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Kendrick Kross: You know how much I want this.
Britney Anders: I know how much you want it and how hard you've worked. There isn't any possibility of you walking out of here without that gold.
Sensing focus on her ex-fiance's face, Britney walks back and forth in front of him, watching his eyes follow her.
Britney Anders: What do you bring to the table that gives you the advantage? Tell EVERYONE who's watching, what makes you the perfect Anarchy champion.
Trying to rally and motivate him even more, she stops directly in front of him, only for him to lightly grab a shoulder to scoot her over just a bit, so he could focus. Anders grins ear to ear as Kendrick looks at the camera now.
Kendrick eyes the camera and pushes himself off of the wall he was leaning against and paced back and forth a couple times and lets out a sigh as he stops and looks at Britney then the camera once more.
Kendrick Kross: Why should I be Anarchy Champion? It’s simple, I’m the only one that has wanted that from day one. The first time I joined Liberty my main goal was that Anarchy Championship. I’ve never looked at even the Liberty Championship. My title in this company is the Anarchy Championship and out of the three people in this match I am the only one that has held it and defended it.
Kendrick chuckles a bit as he looks at Britney who was still trying to motivate him even more. He shook his head a bit with a grin on his face.
Kendrick Kross: Look at Derrick. He held that title for one show before he lost it. He couldn’t even defend that title. Not being able to defend it yet he thinks he actually has the championship quality in him?
Kendrick looked at Britney and laughed a bit.
Kendrick Kross: Like seriously, can you believe that he thinks he deserves to be champion?
Britney Anders: He's no champion, and Melanie?
Britney can barely keep a straight face as she says the name of the third member of the match.
Britney Anders: Despite what she brings to the table, nobody in this match has the pedigree that you have. You've been a champion everywhere you've competed at, including Liberty. The time of people looking at your name on the card and overlooking you is over. The time of people seeing your name, and associating you with anything other than success and championships? It's over.
Britney now steps up in his face, although to be fair she was much shorter. She grabs each shoulder and gently massages them.
Britney Anders: Now is YOUR time Kendry. And if the world won't believe it? You'll just have to show them, one at a time. Starting with Derrick and Melanie tonight.
Kendrick Kross: Tonight is the night I make sure I show not just Liberty but everyone watching that I’m not just some name to be put on a card.
Kendrick looks at Britney as she massages his shoulders and gives her a smirk.
Kendrick Kross: No one seems to want to give me the respect I deserve. I’ve held that championship multiple times but for some reason people want to put me as the underdog and not believe I can win. Which pisses me off.
Kendricks facial expression definitely started to show how annoyed and frustrated he was with everyone seemingly throwing him off to the side in this match.
Kendrick Kross: I’m leaving tonight with that gold that Melanie is holding onto for me. She doesn’t believe me when I tell her she’s just a transitional champion, but tonight I prove what I’ve been saying all along.
Kendrick looks at Britney as he brings her close to him now as they both look towards the camera, both of them with a smirk on their face.
Kendrick Kross: Anyone that wants to doubt me is going to be so disappointed when I win this match and take the hopes of being a true champion from both Derrick and Melanie.
Britney Anders: No more Kendry. You've said enough, go show them.
With a quick peck to his lips, she then turns and smirks for the camera and then begins to walk off, leaving Kendrick to stare into the camera for a moment, before causing a little anarchy of his own by pushing the lens back, knocking it out of the hands of the camera operator as he walks down the hallway, ready to make his statement in his title match.

MATCH THREE: Anarchy Championship
Melanie vs Derrick La’Bell vs Kendrick Kross
Melanie vs Derrick La’Bell vs Kendrick Kross
RECAP The match for the Anarchy Championship starts off with Kendrick Kross rolling out of the ring and grabbing a chair. Meanwhile, Derrick and Melanie start to battle it out inside of the ring. Melanie takes Derrick down with a dropkick. She goes for a second but Derrick dodges it. The MMA giant grabs Melanie and drops her with a DDT. Before Derrick can do anything, Kross now enters the ring with the chair and he slams it into his head, trying to take out the big man as quickly as he can. La’Bell drops down hard and Kross starts to climb the turnbuckle. He climbs but Derrick pulls him off of it and then hits him with a snap suplex. Derrick grabs the chair and he slams it on top of Kross. La'Bell then gets out of the ring and sets up a table on the outside. He then grabs a kendo stick and gets in the ring. Derrick hits Kendrick with it and then turns to hit Melanie but Mel counters with an enziguri. Mel picks up the kendo stick and she slams it on Derrick’s back multiple times. She then climbs the top rope but Kross is up and he runs up it. He and Mel are battling it out on top of the turnbuckle when Melanie hits him with a forearm that sends him reeling. She then hits him with a leaping kick and he falls off of the turnbuckle to the outside and through the table, that has the fans chanting holy shit, holy shit, holy shit! Derrick then runs up the turnbuckle and he suplexes Mel off of it. La'Bell pins Mel but only gets a two count. Derrick screams that the Anarchy Championship belongs to him and he exits the ring and grabs it. Derrick gets back inside of the ring and he lines Melanie up with the Anarchy Championship. Derrick charges Melanie but Mel ducks it and then hits a Pele kick that sends the Anarchy Championship into Derrick’s head. Melanie goes for the pin and almost gets a three count but somehow, Kendrick Kross re-entered the ring from falling through the tables and he breaks up the count before it hits three. Melanie can’t believe that Kendrick is up. She picks him up and the two battle back and forth. But Kendrick looks like he’s about to get the upper hand. Suddenly a man slides into the ring though! Oh my God! It’s Kace Matthews again, invading from GEW!!! Kace picks up the Anarchy Championship and it causes Kendrick to charge him, as he thinks Kace is going to steal it. Kace then levels Kendrick with the Anarchy Championship. Melanie is up on her feet now and she looks at Kace with her eyes widened in surprise. Kace looks at her with a genuine smile before tossing Melanie her Anarchy Championship and then pointing at Derrick La’Bell, who is now starting to stir. Melanie charges Derrick and levels him with the championship! She pins him and picks up the three count and the win, retaining the Anarchy Championship! The bell is rung and Kace Matthews grabs Melanie’s hand and raises it in the air in victory. WINNER And still Anarchy Champion… Melanie!!!! We switch to some pre-taped footage. A subdued TJ Techniques sits with his back against a chain link fence. He replays the events that happened in his semifinal match with Freddie Hjalmar before throwing his hands up in an exasperated manner.
TJ: What do you want me to say right now?
TJ looks off. He shakes his head over the mistake he made before finally turning and acknowledging the camera with his gaze.
TJ: No, really, what do you want me to say right now? You want me to say that losing in the semifinals is no big deal? It's no sweat off my back? Freddie got lucky? His win was a fluke? You want me to not even acknowledge it at all? Trust me, if the roles were reversed, that is exactly what would have happened. That's not speculation. It's a fact.
A beat.
TJ: All you have to do is go back a couple of weeks and see his and Max Cerrano's reaction to losing to myself and Bri Leigh Clark in the tag match. No credit was given. No acknowledgement of fault was admitted. Just finger pointing and the usual nonsense that comes out of their mouths. Unfortunately for LPW, Bri and myself, two people that have these things called honor and respect and dignity? The two of us won't be fighting to determine who the new Gotham Champion is gonna be. Instead, it's gonna be those two aforementioned asses.
TJ spits through his teeth at the ground before continuing.
TJ: Lemme not give them a taste of their own medicine. Lemme not stoop down to their level. Allow me to show dat 'tegrity. I lost. Simple and plain. I lost. Fred didn't get lucky. No fluke occurred. I lost. You could say, "but TJ you came so close". "But TJ, he won that match by the skin of his teeth". "But TJ, that winning streak you were on is still something to be proud of". Coming close don't get me that Championship. Hanging my hat on a moral victory don't get me that championship. Actually coming through and winning does. But I didn't. As much as it pains me to say this, as much as I know the same courtesy would never be extended to me in a thousand years, I'll be the bigger man. I'll give the credit where it's due. Fred was the better wrestler. On that night, Fred was the better wrestler. But believe me when I tell you kid, you ain't seen the last of my face. If you think that match was the last time you and I will cross paths in this ring, then you're dead wrong. You'll get what's coming to you. I'll have my receipt for you. I'll have my getback. Trust me on that one, boy.
TJ: But I can't focus too much on what's gonna happen down the line. I gotta stay focused on what's directly in front of me and that's you, Bri. We both know how much this sucks. You and me, we both wanted to be facing each other a little bit further up on the card for that Gotham Championship. We've seen you put in the work in the gym. We've seen you put in the work in the ring. Getting that Gotham Championship meant as much to you as it did to me. Even though losing sucked, if it was you going onto the finals or only me going onto the finals, maybe we wouldn't feel so bad. Maybe we wouldn't be so down. But seeing them two fighting for the title? Them two?! It makes our loses in the Semis feel that much more bitter.
TJ: Look, we both know what we need to do out there. We both know how this is going down. One of us gets a little bounce back in our step after a win. The other? Well, that's two tough losses in a row and I don't care how positive our outlook is. Two high profile losses in a row is gonna sting. I don't wanna be in that position and I know you don't wanna be in it either. So I know we're gonna have to go in there and scrap. We're gonna be throwing fists, elbows and everything else. I know you gonna bring it because I'm gonna bring it. I'm under no illusion. You've got the power advantage in this one. It don't hurt my ego to admit that. You could probably military press me over your head and throw me all the way up to the top balcony. But I'm gonna bring that fight to you, girl. I'm gonna bring that fight to you because my back is against the wall. I'm not trying to hear someone else's theme at the end of this. I'm not here to leave Resurrection with back-to-back Ls. This is a chance to get one step closer towards making up for what happened in the semis. This is my chance to redeem myself. Bri, this is my chance to get one step closer to that Gotham Championship. This is my shot, girl, and I'm gonna take it. If that means going through you, someone that I respect? Then I gotta do what I gotta do. If you win this, then hey. Hats off to you and I hope you get that Gotham Championship. But that's not a road I wanna go down. That's not something I wanna see. I want my arm raised at the end of this. I wanna hear my theme knocking over them speakers. I wanna get one step closer to giving Max or Fred the receipt that they so rightfully deserve. I'll do everything I can, within the rules, to make sure that happens. Now peep that.

The camera finds Brianna Leigh Clark sitting cross legged on a bench in the back locker area, looking relaxed and maybe a tiny bit more contemplative than what’s usual for her. She looks up at the camera and gives a little wave to the person holding it, before she takes a deep, deep breath, letting it out slow before she speaks, keeping her voice level.
Brianna Clark: I’m not going to pretend that I’m not disappointed that it’s not me tonight facing off against Freddie Hjalmar for the Gotham Championship. Of course I am. I’m also not going to pretend that Cerrano didn’t beat me fair and square, because he did. He’d say ‘of course’ because in his mind I’m nothing. He’ll never admit that I was far better than he anticipated, or that he really had to work to beat me.
Brianna gives a little shrug then and looks away, off camera for a few moments, her voice staying level.
Brianna Clark: But that stopped mattering after the match was over. Tonight I’ve got a new match - a better match, not going to lie. I like TJ, he’s respectful on top of being wildly talented, and I can’t think of anyone I’d rather face for another chance, another shot at that Gotham Championship. I know we’re both going to give the best match possible and that’s priceless isn’t it?
She swings her legs out and pushes up to her feet, giving a brighter smile to the camera now.
Brianna Clark: So here we go. One of us is going to get something we both covet… and then after, we’ll both find out who it’s against. That’s exciting, isn’t it?
Brianna flashes another smile and exits the locker, leaving the camera focused on where she was before it cuts away.

MATCH FOUR: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDER
Brianna Leigh Clark vs TJ Techniques
Brianna Leigh Clark vs TJ Techniques
RECAP Working as tag team partners just a few weeks ago, these two were no strangers to one anothers techniques. Speaking of Techniques, TJ began the match in his usual demeanor both speedy and quick, nailing Brianna with a surprise take down followed by a Hurricanrana from out of nowhere, a quick pin saw Brianna roll out and TJ gave her the time to step up to her feet before smiling and nodding in her direction, after a lockup Brianna shows off more from a technical standpoint and hits a belly-to-back suplex, and a Northern Lights Suplex in succession, one right after the other just as soon as TJ had climbed to his feet, this grounded him and showed Brianna taking a little leap of faith of her own, going to the second rope and leaping off with a leg drop that earned her a two count. Attempting to keep him grounded Brianna locked in her signature move of a Boston Crab which TJ attempting to escape the hold, she managed to keep it locked in for well over a few minutes before TJ managed to get to the ropes, clearly targeting the leg, Brianna still allowed him to his feet before going after him once more. She tossed him into the ropes which saw him barreling back and leapfrogging over her as she too ran for the opposing ropes, coming back she looked as if she might be going for her finisher Punch From Row Z, the Discus Punch that literally could come from out of nowhere, but TJ pounced up again looking to nail another of those Hurricanranas he was famous for only to have that turned around into a Dangan Bomb from Brianna. The strength of the move after slamming him taking her down for a few moments as well. By the time she made the cover, the ref could only get to a two count and she couldn’t believe it as she thought she had it. Climbing to her feet she looks to take it to the ropes again, perhaps in an attempt to go for another of her finishers Incoming, however, we’ll never know as TJ recovers in time to meet her at the top leaping from the canvas to the turnbuckle in a singular jump and hitting an Avalanche Spanish Fly. The crowd goes wild as he does and attempts the cover. One, Two, Two and a Half! Kickout! TJ too can’t believe how much each of them has wanted this victory. The fans are cheering on both competitors as TJ shakily gets to his feet. He’s looking out to the crowd and smiles cheekily as he knows what they want, shakily he climbs up to the top as the camera flashes begin all over arena he leaps off for Know The Ledge, only Brianna rolls out of the way, thinking she’s dodged it, TJ amazingly lands on his feet, and using the momentum from the move and his free running capabilities, turns back into a standing moonsault, which nails Brianna then. Dazed she finds her way up and this time TJ is able to connect with Set ‘Em Straight, picking up the win. WINNER TJ Techniques METHOD PINFALL MATCH LENGTH 10:15 FINISHING MOVE Set ‘Em Straight |
BACKSTAGE
There’s an intense conversation going on between the current Liberty Pro Tag Team Champions as Coral and Nami are standing off to the side in the backstage area of the arena, both in matching Liberty Pro branded wrestling gear, their championship belts around their waists.
Coral: No, what I’m saying is, I think that maybe they got rid of David Rosenberg for good, I mean nobody’s heard a peep from him since Natchthexen put him through that table. It’s so weird isn’t it? Anyway…
Nami: JACKAL’s better off without him, what a waste of money, and he was hella heckin rude on top of that. Speaking of, do you think they’ll interfere tonight? A TLC match is chaotic as it is, and I swear to God, Coral I SWEAR TO GOD if they do, I’m going to have them tased in the parking lot.
Coral blinks at the vehemence in her sister’s voice, then laughs, covering her mouth so it wouldn’t come out like a snort.
Coral: Nah, I bet they don’t? I mean, that’s a calculated risk don’t you think? We know what we’re willing to do, and they’ve already experienced what Quinn and Claire will do too. It’s honestly a bigger probability that we pushed a dumpster near the ramp for Lizzie Jones to dump Becky Balfour’s ass into after their match.
Nami snickers, looking up and trying to put an innocent expression on her face.
Nami: Mostly because we actually did that.
The pair give a deadpan look towards the camera before Nami takes her title belt off, looking down at it, her fingers unconsciously tightening, knuckles white.
Nami: No matter what happens, we are the best Liberty Tag Team Champions, Coral.
The pair bump fists and Coral sighs.
Coral: A TLC Triple Threat, against a pair of hungry up and coming teams though. They see we’ve got chairs at the big kids table and they want what’s on our plates.
Nami: Starving, you gotta feel for them. Well, maybe not us but someone surely does?
She looks side eye at the camera, and frowns deeply.
Nami: The only person that’s allowed to eat off my plate that isn’t me is my son KC and none of you four are as cute as he is. Joss, you seem super nice and all, and Dex is pretty talented, but are you ready for the violence that’s attached to a match like this? Are you willing to hurt someone else to gain gold, the way we are to keep it? I mean we all know Quinn and Claire are, but how about it? What are you willing to do, and don’t say anything unless you super actually mean it.
Coral: This may be the first day of Fall on the calendar, but trust us. Trust us, this is still Endless Summer.
The twins glare at the camera before it cuts elsewhere.

Josephine Morant & Dex Morant vs Girls of Summer vs Nachthexen (Quinn & Claire Lichfield)
RECAP The bell rings and the match starts but Nachthexen decides to roll out of the ring. Dex and Joss pay no mind to them and they charge at the Tag Team Champions of Liberty Pro. The four competitors all go at it, going back and forth with blows when Quinn and Claire get back into the ring with a ladder. They take the ladder and use it to clear out the ring, knocking everyone out with it. They quickly set it up in the middle and begin to climb it on each side but Dex Morant climbs up the turnbuckle and he dropkicks the ladder down, knocking both ladies off of it. Joss Morant picks the ladder up and starts to set it up but Nami comes into the ring with a chair and she goes to clobber the unsuspecting Joss with it but NO! Dexter jumps in the way and takes the shot for his sister. Dex is out of it and Joss turns around in shock before she quickly charges Nami in anger and tackles her down, showing a more aggressive side to defend her brother, who defended her. The two women roll around, each one getting the upper hand at one point before Coral comes in and puts a stop to it, helping her twin sister to grab Joss and double suplex her. Outside of the ring, Claire is setting up two tables side by side. She jumps up onto the apron and gets the Girls of Summer’s attention, which gives Quinn the opportunity to come into the ring with a broom she found from under the ring. Quinn slams it over the back of Nami, knocking her down. Coral turns around and Quinn annihilates her with the broomstick next. Quinn then starts to sweep up the ring, saying that Nachthexen is going to sweep the night! Claire begins to climb the ladder as Quinn guards it with her broom. But what she didn’t expect was for Dexter Morant to climb the turnbuckle and then leap across the ring onto the other side of the ladder. This distracts Quinn, who is taken out by a superkick from Joss Morant! Dexter and Claire battle it out on top of the ladder, trading blows with one another when Dexter is able to slam Claire’s face on the top of the ladder, stunning her. Dex tries to reach for the championships but Claire throws an elbow into his gut. The Girls of Summer are now in the ring with a new ladder. They charge Joss with it and Joss ducks but it collides with the ladder Dex and Claire are on! The two go flying off onto the outside and crash right through the tables that had been set up outside. Joss is now behind Coral and Nami and she has the broom from earlier. She whacks Coral in the back with it and snaps it in half. She then throws the broken piece at Nami, who catches it in surprise. Joss takes Nami down with an enziguri, showing off her improved skills. Joss is the only one left standing as she readjusts the ladder in the ring. She then starts to climb up it and reaches for the belts but Quinn climbs up the other side of it. Quinn and Joss both reach the top and begin to battle back and forth, trying to gain control up top but Quinn soon hits Joss with a thumb to the eye. Meanwhile, the Girls of Summer are setting up a ladder next to the main ladder and they are climbing it. Quinn knocks Joss off of her ladder and she tries to reach up for the Tag Team Championships but Coral leaps across to the other ladder and lands on the side across from Quinn. Quinn is caught off guard by this and before she can attack, Nami leaps off the second ladder and dropkicks Quinn off the main ladder! This leaves Coral by herself! She reaches up and unhooks both championships and the bell rings as the Girls of Summer retain their Tag Team Championships! The busy streets of Brooklyn can be seen in constant flux as the cameras roam through a massive number of crowds, the hustle and bustle that New York is known for seems to carry along with the taxi cabs, buses, and sidewalk dwellers, as the cameras pass by slowly a myriad of Residents can be seen pacing the streets until the cameras finally land on a common path, a sidewalk that descends to the East River and in contrast the Brooklyn Bridge just off to the left. A familiar frame can be seen walking this path, long black hair tied back into a high ponytail as she gallantly struts towards the cameras in an all white jumpsuit along with a cape/train that flows in the wind behind her as she ascends in her path.
Kaia Grainger: “All White, the color of Light, and one third of the composition comprised of a US Champion. I’m a seaside girl, so some could say I exemplify blue as well, and well Red is a little something all of us have shed.”
She pauses before the cameras zoom in just a little further catching a glimpse of her shimmer silver ear gems that dangle on each side of her face. A smile now exuding.
Kaia Grainger: “No one comes into this business to just be mediocre, no one steps foot inside of a ring without wanting to craft a path to excellence, and many have not benefited me the capability of capturing one of Liberty Pro’s coveted Prizes, but at Liberty Pro Resurrection, the chance is mine! Between myself, Brien Storm, Lilah Wood, and Nathalie Genevieve, some would say there’s little chance that I even qualify and I would almost say that I’m inclined to agree. Brien Storm is a multi-time world champion, a consistent competitor amongst many different companies, and in truth one of the most capable athletes I’ve ever seen compete. . . but let's speak truthfully shall we.”
She takes a gallant step forward arching her brows slightly, with a light glimmering in her eyes.
Kaia Grainger: “In Liberty Pro alone, I have the best record of the four of us. I’ve only come up short in one contest so far and that was the battle Royal at Liberation’s Return, narrowly seconds away from capturing a spot to be the number one contender for the Liberty Championship. Since then, I’ve yet to let up my stride, and I’ve shown exactly why I’m worthy of this championship opportunity. I can be considered a rookie in terms of in-ring experience, but in all other facets, I’m the woman you want holding that title. I hold nothing against any of my fellow competitors they’re all worthy of their spot but what it comes down to is who wants it the most.”
She paused defiantly now striding a little more forward.
Kaia Grainger: “I’ve shown that not only am I all business but that no one really understands exactly what it is I bring to the ring. Many want to see my nickname and garner it an arrogance of superiority, a showcase of light, but the reality is. . . you’ll never fully comprehend what being a light bringer means because it defies explanation. It's a quality, a gift, that only I exude and when the time comes I’ll continually show it to all of you.”
Taking a moment to smile she gives a tilt of the head.
Kaia Grainger: “That continues at Resurrection when I become your US Champion!”
She blows a kiss to the camera before she bypasses it slowly, only a faint image of the fabric of her cape flowing in the bottom portion of the screen.

MATCH SIX: US CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER
Brien Storm vs Kaia Grainger
Brien Storm vs Kaia Grainger
RECAP Both Competitors are well aware of the stakes in this one. Brien Storm looks as cool as ever, whereas Kaia seems eerily determined. The match begins slowly with the two appearing to lock up, but Brien has his opponent scouted and easily takes Kaia down with a snapmare hold, while she is quick to climb up to her feet Brien is on her once again slinging her into the corner and follow up with a clothesline taking her down. Backs up slightly and runs towards her kneeing her in the face as she falls to the mat, rolling out slightly he ascends the ropes and executes a diving knee drop and while remaining eerily calm in his demeanor, goes for a cover, with a quick out at two. Brien doesn’t seem frustrated however, pulling Kaia up to her feet, he picks a body part to start working on, choosing her shoulder as he pulls her towards him and rams his entire body into her arm, perhaps using to disintegrate her ability to nail that Handspring Finisher of hers. Clearly, he’s scouted well and Kaia nurses her shoulder as he goes to do the same again on this time she spins around reversing his arm hold at the elbow then around his back side, until she kicks him in the back of the knee. Causing him to falter momentarily just as he turns around she hits him with The Light (A Handspring Pele Kick) though it was somewhat sloppy due to that shoulder of his, she still aims for a cover, which garners her a quick one and a half. Rolling off she waits for Storm to climb to his feet, before she hits him with a running dropkick, her momentum increases now as she runs towards the ropes and then goes over him and hits the other rope, before nailing a running crossbody, but Brien turns it around at the last minute, stopping the momentum she’d built dead in its tracks. He goes for a pinfall attempt himself with Kaia kicking out at two. The match continues with this back and forth pace, Brien looks to have won when he nails a Sheffield Slam (Alabama Slam) in a counter to one of Kaia’s handspring combinations. The bridge attempt is given from a roll through of his own, but Kaia narrowly kicks out. Kaia looks to make him tap with her Red Onyx (Black Widow/Octopus Hold), but realizes it's going to take much more than that to take out the multi-time World Champion. After several moments of the back and forth Exchange, Brien seems to be in control once more Looking to nail his Unforecasted Storm, Kaia averts it at the last second into a rolling headscissors that stops him from being able to do so, once he pops back up she Nails her Star Shine (Handspring Cutter) taking the surprise upset victory. POST-MATCH
Kaia Rolls out of the ring, cupping her mouth in surprise as her smile is huge after winning the first match in the US Championship Qualifier, she is beaming as she turns to the crowd thrusting her hands in the air, Brien remains cool, calm, and collected, but you can certainly tell he isn’t pleased with the outcome as he makes his way backstage, on her way up the ramp Kaia is met by Dante Chapel as soon as she reaches the top of the ramp. She waves to him as he smirks in her direction.
Dante Chapel: “Miss Grainger, The Lightbringer, you seem pretty elated with your victory just now, weren’t expecting it or just surprised.”
She smiles, her smile still remaining despite the line of questioning, she remained as poignant and professional as ever.
Kaia Grainger: “It's more excited than anything Mr. Chapel. I’ve worked a very long time to reach this moment and I’m one step closer to accomplishing my goal of the US Championship later tonight. You’re not wrong in saying that I’m elated though.”
She gave that same cheeky grin to show just how much so, and stopped Dante before he asked another question by simply leaning into the microphone again.
Kaia Grainger: “Brien is an amazing competitor and quite frankly he was the one I think many were expecting to take the title home, but I’ve worked extremely hard for this opportunity and I don’t plan on letting anyone stop me from being the US Champion by the end of tonight. This is Liberty Pro’s Resurrection and I am one of the few bringing it back to life. . . call it Giving a Little Light.”
She smiles poignantly before she turns on her heel, spinning around in her neatly designed attire for the night, featuring a very patriotic theme as opposed to her usual. The interviewer himself even stopped to garner a look as she turned back around and gave him a wink.
Kaia Grainger: “I’m sorry if you have more to ask, but I need to prepare for the finals with Lilah. Thank you for your time.”
She softly turns and waves to the camera before disappearing backstage with Dante watching her as she went, though he turned to the camera and gave a soft shrug of the shoulders at his clear lack of control.

BACKSTAGE
Segment Plot Summary: Honey stays safe backstage, pondering the potential matches she could face depending on how the main event plays out while showing off a neat collectable any LPW fan would bid on.
Backstage we find Honey with a relic of Liberty Pro, the original Liberty in the Bank Briefcase Honey won, which lead to her pulling double duty and winning her first world title.
Honey Smith: Hello! So tonight's the night!
Honey holds up the Liberty Pro briefcase her dad Franklin had personally saved from that night, with Honey's cheery face smooshed against it.
Honey Smith: The Liberty Pro title shot match which made me a big star in the company….I know Killian and Bianca and Cait and Tamsin will all be trying to follow in my footsteps, up the rungs of the ladder all the way to the brand new #HoneyInTheBank briefcase. I know you're supposed to share and I would like everyone to have an opportunity at being #HoneyInTheBank.
She looks down at her feet, spinning her ankles to bump her toes together a couple of times.
Honey Smith: But I am in this match too…which means I have to do my bestest to win the match too! Being a two time #HoneyInTheBank winner would be a tip top accomplishment! The Liberty Pro Championship is a very hard to come by championship too. There's a lot of people in that match, just like this one, but only one will be the winner….
Honey then ponders on potential match ups, however, it was a fun daddy daughter art day project so she has some lightweight boards with her and all the possible opponents.
Honey Smith: If Scotty wins, I would have a big, big fun match with him. He knows, like, I can be handle the heat in the kitchen, and it would be nice to see if I'm like…..extreme enough too, although my daddy recommended not do anything like that and do a normy singles match instead….then there's Helena who did win our match last time and before too…I don't think a lot of fans might believe I could do it on the third try, but never say never in this big top business! Mm-mm, it's always surprising…I know Cousin Mimi would want me to face Precious Pepper Vain, and I would do my bestest for family there too. I just worry she would hurt more friends like she did in Valiant Pro to Cousin Mimi's good friend Diego…which leaves Xavier, who has been around for a while but we haven't ever had much to do with each other! So if he won, I could be like "How do you do, X! I have a briefcase here for, like, a title shot and stuff. I guess we're going to be facing each other now!".
Honey shuffles through the four matches on the decorated board, before moving them to the side.
Honey Smith: Unfortunately my daddy said we didn't have enough canvas to make match ups for my other opponents in the match, who stand a good chance like I said! But, ummm, I still have to do my duty to win win WIN and be #HoneyInTheBank again! Ok! I think I said everything I wanted to say, Mr. Camera-Man. Thank you for your time, and here's a yummy cookie for your time.
Honey says retrieving a cookie sealed inside a small bag she then passes over to the cameraman with an extend-o-grab thing to keep her distance backstage. Honey offers her sweet smile to the camera again which is getting a little shaky before the sounds of the bag being ruffled to get the cookie out is heard as the scene fades to black.

MATCH SEVEN: LIBERTY IN THE BANK MATCH
Bianca Page vs Cait Flanagan vs Killian Rory vs Honey vs Tamsin
Bianca Page vs Cait Flanagan vs Killian Rory vs Honey vs Tamsin
RECAP This match begins quite early. As Killian Rory is making his way to the ring as the final competitor he’s jumped from behind by Claire Lichfield and Quinn Mercy of Nachthexen! Things get really hairy as Amira Kassouri and Olivia Wythe make a surprise appearance in New York as the beatdown turns into a full family affair. The competitors for this Liberty in the Bank match watch as the field of competitors gets thinned as a four witch powerbomb off of the ramp absolutely destroys Rory! While some watch the action begins in the ring. The Million Dollar Baby Cait Flanagan got the jump on Honey, taking her down with a running bulldog. This got everyone’s attention in the ring as Bianca Page and Tamsin began to brawl. With Honey floored, Cait began to assist Tamsin with the villains forming an on-the-spot makeshift alliance. However, the hometown girl Page wasn’t going down so easily. She used her reach advantage to keep the double team at bay, striking out rapidly at Tamsin and Flanagan. However, in time the numbers game overpowered the New Yorker. A synchronized running forearm from the villains dropped Page in the middle of the ring. With a wary look at each other, Tamsin watched as Cait rolled out of the ring to produce the first ladder appearance into this match. As she fished under the ring, Tamsin began to direct traffic - sending Nachthexen down to surround the outside. As Flanagan retrieved a ladder, she found herself being watched carefully by the witches as she slowly slide the steel underneath the bottom rope. However the lull was broken up by the resurgence of Honey! Little Miss Sunshine snuck behind the Manx Axe Murderer and crushed her with a brutal backstabber. Cait began to rush herself into the ring, trying to quickly get inside to weaponize the ladder. However, a recovered Bianca Page quickly met her by putting her foot down on the ladder. Flanagan began to struggle to free the ladder to make use of it, but the distraction gave Honey the time needed to rush forward - connecting with a sick “Hiyah” Busaiku Knee! The force from the flying knee sent Cait careening and crashing down to the outside. It looked as if the temporary alliance was over, because Nachthexen quickly went to work as they swarmed and began to assault Flanagan on the outside! Inside of the ring, Honey and Biance cautiously looked over each other before going into a lock up. The emphasis looked to be put on quickly grounding the other and getting them away from the ladder inside of the ring. Page was able to use her size advantage over Honey - pushing her into a corner with the lock up. Before Page could capitalize she sidestepped a recovered and charging Tamsin, Tamsin crushed herself and Honey into the corner, with Page coming behind Tamsin to capitalize with a Superkick, as Tamsin rebounded from the corner! With everyone floored, Bianca quickly snagged the ladder. She began to set up, however boos began to trickle around the arena. Having taken Flanagan out, the Witches all climbed the ring apron from all four sides. They looked as if they were ready to pounce - but Biance collapsed the ladder and tilted it in her arms, holding it like a weapon as she dared the bravest one to step inside the ring. A small staredown ensued, but not for long. Sliding in to the ring from her blindside, Flanagan got herself back in the match! She ran up to Bianca as she was turning her corners. Facing her up, Cait stuck her arms through the rungs of the ladder, snatching Page up and taking her down with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex with the steel ladder sandwiched between them both. The move floored Page and knocked the wind from her. However, Flanagan looked to take some damage from the gambit as well, not being able to immediately capitalize and set up the ladder. Nachthexen found their next target - as Claire reached through the ropes to snag Page’s feet. She pulled the New Yorker to the outside, and once again the witches swarmed, beating down on Bianca on the outside. Meanwhile, Cait was getting her bearings and beginning to set up the ladder! With Tamsin and Honey still reeling, it looked like victory was all in the hands of Flanagan. But no! Limping into the ring was Killian Rory! He approached the ladder from Cait’s side. After yelling about his “500 Dollars” he turned himself in ward and wrapped his arms around Cait’s legs. While he was in powerbomb position - Rory stalled before slamming Cait forward (a shameless excuse to keep his head near her crotch). As he threw her forward - Rory put some extra strength into it and instead sent Cait crashing back first into a corner turnbuckle - A bucklebomb from the top of the ladder! Cait rolled out of the ring favoring her back and writhing with agony. Instead of climbing, Killian took his time to blow a kiss at Flanagan. Once he turned back to the ladder, he turned right into a reverse STO from Honey! The move sent him hitting his chin on the bottom three rungs of the ladder with some nasty impact! It sent Rory rolling out of the ring holding his face as blood began to trickle from his mouth. Instead of posturing, Honey immediately took to climbing the ladder. She looked to have a clear cut path to the briefcase. However, the Witches went at it again. All four entered the ring. With two on both sides, they collectively lifted and moved the ladder to the side of the ring - right as Honey’s hand was starting to grab at the cable clip keeping the golden ticket to the Liberty Pro Championship suspended in air. Amira began to climb up a few steps, but Honey began to kick down desperately to fend the witches off. As she did so, the crowd began to jeer loudly as Tamsin had entered back into the picture - this time carrying another ladder with her! She lined up the ladder and used it like a jousting lance, running it into Honey and sending her flying from the top rope and crashing down ontop of the other competitors outside. With Nachthexen covering all four corners of the ring, Tamsin laughed maniacally as she took her sweet time, milking every step up the ladder. She reached the top - casually throwing her legs over to sit fully on the peak of the ladder. With all the time in the world she reached up and unclipped the briefcase - the camera cutting on a close up of the Manx Axe Murderer clutching tightly her prize against her chest. [After her match against Nathalie Genevieve, Lilah Wood is chilling in her locker room. A satisfied smile sits on her lips between sips from a water bottle. Joining her in her locker room is Gavin Grimes, who seems to have been giving her a pep talk before the pair notice the camera.]
LW: You all saw that, exactly what I said was going to happen? Did. And now I’m looking at a match against Kaia Granger for the Championship. I could be a smart ass and go on about how I don’t really know anything about you, how you’re nothing more than a glorified valet who lucked her way into this.
[Gavin scoffs off camera as Lilah shrugs her shoulders.]
LW: But I ain’t that stupid, see, I researched every possible opponent. And whole sure. There isn’t as much on you as I’d like there to be? I’ve got you scouted, for your rookie moves down pat in my head. That’s what makes me superior to anyone else in this tournament, on this card even… I put in the time and the work.
[Lilah takes another sip of water before chuckling to herself.]
LW: I don’t need to point out all of your shortcomings, how you’re better known as an underachieving mouthpiece or how, you think MWE is a place that still holds resonance with real wrestling fans. I don’t need to point out that you’re so skinny and underdeveloped that a strong wind could probably knock you over… I don’t need to point all of those things out because I’m better than you. I will always be better than you.
[Lilah stands and stares down the camera with focus for a long pause.]
LW: See you out there Kaia… don’t choke.

MATCH EIGHT: US CHAMPIONSHIP
Lilah Wood vs Kaia Grainger
Lilah Wood vs Kaia Grainger
RECAP Lilah starts off the match by trying to bait Kaia by verbally barbing as the pair circle each other, Kaia gives her a smirk, obviously letting the comments roll off her back. Kaia pulls Lilah into a lock up and despite the struggle, Kaia pulls her in and with a sweep of the leg slams her down onto her back, driving her knee into the gut of Lilah, before pulling her back up for a release German suplex that sends Lilah flying across the ring. Kaia Grainger allows Lilah to back into the corner before following up with a running big boot, grabbing the ropes, Kaia drives her knee into Lilah over and over until the official forces her to break away. It’s clear how serious Kaia is taking the match right now, badly wanting to become the United States Champion. As Kaia backed up, Lilah drops and rolls to the outside, dropping down to her knees she takes a moment to catch her breath as Kaia leans over the top rope and calls for Lilah to get back in the ring. Lilah jumps up and uses the apron to propel herself, hanging Kaia up on the top rope, Kaia falls back and clutches her throat as Lilah slides back into the ring and begins to stalk her opponent. Kaia is on her hands and knees as Lilah slides in and grabs Kaia, locking in a rear choke hold. As she wrenches on the hold, Kaia’s arms grab for the ropes but it’s just a little too far away, when Kaia then starts to throw elbows, and an elbow followed by a headbutt causes Lilah to break the hold and grab at her nose. Kaia is up to her feet, shaking it off as Lilah sits back on her heels, Kaia takes her down with a powerful clothesline that straight levels her. As Lilah stumbles back to her feet, Kaia is coming off the ropes and she lands a second hard clothesline to Lilah, then drops for the cover, only getting the two count before Lilah kicks out. Kaia grabs Lilah’s head and bounces it off the canvas before stalking Wood. Lilah stirs and Kaia bounces off the ropes, going for Star Shine (Handspring Cutter) but Lilah ducks under it! When Kaia turns around, she’s met by Lilah charging in with a running knee strike and she hits it! Lilah then picks Kaia up and drops her with Kiss the Ground (Sitout Face Buster). Lilah goes for the pin, looking to become the new US Champion but right when the referee is about to call for the three count, Kaia’s foot ends up on the ropes. Lilah can’t believe it and she argues with the referee, calling it a bullshit call. Lilah finally gathers herself and she picks Kaia up, lifting her on her shoulders to go for the Brat Bounce (Rack attack) but Grainger slides down her back. Kaia handsprings off the ropes again and this time, she nails her Star Shine (Handspring Cutter). Kaia drops down and hooks the leg and the referee starts the count. The count hits three just as Lilah kicks out. The referee calls for the bell and hands Kaia the United States Championship. Lilah yells at the referee, telling him she kicked out. He disagrees and Lilah just shakes her head. She goes to Kaia and offers a handshake. Grainger looks at her suspiciously before she finally relents and accepts but Lilah pulls Kaia in and knees her in the gut. Lilah then grabs the US Championship and slams it into Kaia’s face. She then drops the belt over Kaia and rolls her offs before leaving the ring. WINNER And new US Champion… Kaia Grainger METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 11:32 FINISHING MOVE Star Shine |

Inside a locker room, Lizzie Jones sits in her ring gear, taping her fists. She sees the camera but doesn’t react instantly, making sure to finish the wrist first.
Lizzie: “Yeah, I know, it’s been a while.”
She takes in a very deep breath, sighing it back out.
Lizzie: “But I’m back now, this is my life again. Here, in Liberty Pro, I’m back in action. This isn’t just any show to return on, though, is it? No, this is resurrection...and how befitting that name is. It may be a new start for Liberty, but tonight is the full-time recommencement of my career. A career that was stolen from me, cruelly...callously, without any remorse or sympathy by my opponent tonight.”
Looking down for a second, her focus is soon returned to the camera.
Lizzie: “An opponent who claims herself treated unfairly, but one who has never taken me on directly. She jumped me, she threw me into the trunk of a car and crushed it against a van. She left me trapped inside that crumpled wreckage, weak and broken, afraid and vulnerable. From there I slipped into a coma. My back, wrist and jaw...all broken.”
She stands and shows the camera a faint scar on her back from surgery she had.
Lizzie: “But I came back from that coma and those injuries. The physical pain dulled after a time, the mental strain remained. What this person doesn’t realize, or more likely doesn’t care to realize, is that what she did was life altering for me. But what it wasn’t, was life breaking.”
She sits again.
Lizzie: “Since then, I married my sweetheart, I gained a son, I moved into my dream home and I achieved things I never thought I would. I achieved more than anyone thought I would. But what has she achieved? No husband, no society, a career that’s stalled badly, a reputation that’s ranked, no happiness and no fulfillment. She thinks I’m here for vengeance, but I’m here to put her out of her misery at this stage. She’s a pathetic shadow, a vain parody of the girl she used to be. She isn’t formidable anymore, she’s cringe...I see her trying to persuade others to do her work for her, as she used to, only this time it’s the odd one or two idiots that listen.”
Liz scoffs.
Lizzie: “It’s hardly The Society, is it? So here we are, tonight’s bout, just us two. You guys ever heard ‘You’re going down’ by Sick Puppies?”
”It's been a long time comin'

Time for you to say my name one last time, when I beat your ass down and kick it straight out of this company. Lizzie Jones, the girl who returned from the past to haunt you, Rebecca. MATCH NINE: LOSER LEAVES TOWN
Becky Balfour vs Lizzie Jones
Becky Balfour vs Lizzie Jones
RECAP It's a big match feel as Becky Balfour walks out to the ring, a chorus of booing thrown her way. The crowd soon cheer though as "Prey" by Parkway Drive plays and, for the first time in over two years, Lizzie Jones emerges onto the stage from behind the curtain. Making her Liberty debut, the former 2x champion takes her time walking out. For her part, Becky seems extremely calm and ready for what's coming, though she's hard to read at the best of times. She even turns her back on Lizzie, leaning against the ropes, but the mind games don't do much to Jones. She circles the ring first, then rolls in, throwing her jacket at Balfour. Becky reacts, perhaps predictably, by throwing the jacket from the ring - but that momentary opening is exactly when Liz starts her assault. The crowd pops as Jones lands several forearm blows to Becky, then whips her into the corner for a follow up clothesline. She goes for a bulldog from the corner, but Balfour throws her off and she lands on her ass. Becky immediately drops and rolls from the ring, taking a moment to catch her breath on the outside. Lizzie moves to the apron and jumps down for an axe handle, but Becky side steps and Jones eats the security barrier instead. A chop block from Balfour sees her grounded long enough for Becky to grab a chair, which she whacks into Liz a few times. But this match can't be won on the outside and, in truth, Becky doesn't even seem to want to end it yet anyway. She moves to look beneath the ring and retrieves a baseball bat, holding it in front of her and grinning... She approaches Lizzie again, but she's taken too long and suffers a drop toehold instead. Jones gets up and grabs the bat for herself, smacking it across Becky's back as she kneels. She rolls Balfour back into the ring, albeit slowly, and tries the pin for just a two. Lizzie stands and taunts Becky, drawing a cheer. She grabs her for the Bonne Nuit (Headlock driver) but is dropped with a back suplex instead. Now it's Becky that's taunting and she only gets jeers for it. A snap DDT leads to another two count, and Becky's looking a tad frustrated now. She again rolls from the ring, this time grabbing a chair from the timekeeper - shoving staff out of her way. She returns and waits for Liz to stand, smacking her across the face with it as hard as she can. Jones is down and she's not looking in good shape, yet STILL kicks out at two! Now Becky's lost for words. Liz is bleeding from her face, but Balfour has her head in her hands. She calls for the finish, pulling a groggy Lizzie up. Becky quickly lands her Hear Me Out (scream into reverse DDT)! Is this it for Jones? She hooks the leg for another two! Liz got her leg to the bottom rope, this isn't over yet! Balfour knows she needs to end this now, though. She lifts Lizzie up and tries to repeat the move, but gets shoved off this time and rebounds off the ropes, eating The Calamity (Claymore kick) on her way back! Jones is slow to make the pin, and it's only a two! Both women need a few moments to recover, with Lizzie up first but Becky forcing herself to stand soon after. There's a brief moment where they just stare at each other. Both have hate in their eyes, albeit their reasons are vastly different. Then, quite out of nowhere, Becky smirks. Behind Lizzie, a single figure runs out from the back. It's Killian Rory! Lizzie doesn't turn back though, even as he gets closer, chair in hand... As soon as he's in the ring, Lizzie ducks the swing of the chair and blasts him back out with a Calamity of his own, the chair sent flying out on the ring with him! The commentators can't believe this plan backfired, and neither can Becky. It's Lizzie's turn to smirk now, even as Balfour berates her. Lizzie replies with a slap across the cheek that turns Becky's face red, before successfully landing the Bonne Nuit (Headlock driver) this time! Jones is quickly up and backs into the corner, wiping blood from her face. Becky stands, facing the wrong way, she's on jelly legs...and a second Calamity from Jones damn near takes her head off! She drapes her arm over for the one...two...no! Killian pulls on Lizzie's ankle, breaking the pin as he drags her off Becky. She kicks at him but he pulls her all the way from the ring and bounces her off the ring post. The jeers intensify as Rory beats Lizzie down, allowing Becky time to recover. The referee argues but with no disqualifications, there's nothing that can be done. Rory rolls Jones back into the ring and holds her up, restrained, for Becky. As Balfour moves to the corner, she imitates Liz herself and tries for The Calamity! But at the last moment, someone grabs Killian by the ankle and he accidentally releases Liz, letting her dodge sideways and making Becky kick him instead! He tumbles from the ring, again, and it's revealed to be Leanne Jones who get involved - Lizzie's sister. Becky stands, hands on her head, but then immediately turns back to Lizzie with evil in her eyes. Balfour screams something and- OH GOD! THE CALAMITY, AGAIN! She's down this time, Lizzie hooks the leg. Killian tries to get involved, but Leanne pulls him away. The ref counts the three, it's over!!! It's over. Becky's Liberty career is done. Lizzie lays there, arm still over Becky, unmoving for a few moments. When she does finally manage to roll away, she falls from the ring and lands on her knees. Willing herself back up, she's helped by Leanne, who wants to take her to the back. But Liz refuses and instead moves to her wife and son at ringside, kissing both, even hugging her brother. But behind her, Leanne gets into the ring, a chair in hand. She stands over Becky, saying a few words, before she raises the weapon and... Lizzie pulls it from her hands, telling her no. The fight's done, Becky's done. It's over. She drops the chair and hugs Leanne again, the duo then moving to the back. As Lizzie disappears behind the curtains, Killian gets back in the ring to check on Becky, and then calls for help. The lights go out for a moment and when they return, the ring has another four or five people in there. Between them, they lift Becky and holding her up in the ring like she's a sacrifice or something. The lights dim again and when they return, they're all gone... the camera pans to the arena screen, where "SECOND COMING" is scrawled... As good as he looked right then and there, something was missing and he clearly wasn't happy with that.
Xavier Laroux: 'Another show without my GEW Grand Championship cause of that lilfuck Kace Matthews. I swear, it's like showin up without your boots. It just doesn't feel right, y'know?'

Taint quite the pussy, taint quite the asshole, like the oldfolk usta say. Fact is, it's a magical fuckin thing. The crosswalk between the two greatest places to be in this whole fuckin world.'

Freddie Hjalmar vs Max Cerrano
RECAP As soon as the bell sounds Freddie bursts out of his corner and overwhelms Max with a barrage of closed fists that back him into the corner. Freddie switches to kicks and stomps a mudhole in Max. He backs up enough to come charging in with a running knee that smashes Max's head into the middle turnbuckle. Freddie drags Max into the middle of the ring and tries for the cover but Max kicks out fiercely at two. Freddie hooks him for an exploder suplex but Cerrano elbows his way out of it. Freddie swings wildly and Max just manages to duck it and drop him with Sicario (Hangman's Neckbreaker). Max scrambles into the cover and Freddie powers out at two. Max picks up Freddie, trying to go for a German Suplex but as he lifts Freddie, Hjalmar delivers a hard back elbow upside the head. Freddie connects with Ex-Voto (Hurricanrana Driver) but chooses to deliver more punishment as he mounts Max to deliver plenty of punches. Max fights out from under Freddie and delivers a hard boot to the chest. Max rolls to his feet and charges in with a shotgun dropkick that bounces Freddie into the turnbuckle. Max climbs to the top rope and flies with a 450 splash and lands it with perfection. Max hooks up the leg but Freddie still manages to kick out at two. Freddie follows after him only for Max to grab a hold of his ring attire and dump him out at ringside. Max drags himself up and leaps from the apron only for Freddie to catch him. Hjalmar rushes Max's back into the turnbuckle with a loud thud and then launches him back into the ring. Freddie gets on the apron and Max tries to get the jump on him. Freddie blasts him with a closed fist and then shoves him back, causing him to collide with the referee. The ref goes down but Max bursts forward with another shotgun dropkick that sends Freddie flying off the apron. Max hurries out after him but Freddie pulls a fire extinguisher out from under the ring and clocks Max upside the head with it! Freddie muscles him back into the ring and waits for Cerrano to stir. When he does, Hjalmar charges and nails The Thorn (Bicycle Knee Strike). Freddie makes the cover but the referee is just coming to. He counts ONE….. TWO….. Max kicks out. Freddie is furious and stalks Max for another attempt at The Thorn but Max dives aside at the last second and Freddie collides with the turnbuckle. Freddie is stunned and Cerrano takes advantage of the momentum and he nails Hjalmar with Kill Your Masters (Flatliner transitioned smoothly into a Koji Clutch). Freddie struggles in the hold, trying everything he can to escape but he soon can’t hold on anymore and he taps out. The referee calls for the bell and Max Cerrano is announced the winner. I can admit I have an ego, but so does he...so we clashed from the beginning, both wanting to be the alpha. In wanting to be the alpha, neither of us made it to that main event for the gold later, but that isn't my fault, it's his. I eliminated him from that battle royal to crown a contender, and what did he do? He entered the ring illegally, and tossed me out. So technically I should still be in that title picture, but moving on.
Flipping her blue hair, she continues.
Carmen Cambridge: I carry him to a tag win, get the pin, all that good stuff...and this man brags about making sure the pin wasn't broken up. Really? You gonna brag on that? That doesn't even make sense, but anyway, then he decides to cost me a match against Oh So Honey Boo Boo, that one still stings....but where he really messed up was at that contract signing.
The camera zooms in to Carmen's head, and she points out where she was busted open at the hands of Tyson Gregory at episode 49 of Liberation. It was still red, and appeared raw, a clear disadvantage for her heading into the headline match later in the evening.
Carmen Cambridge: Not only did you cut me off, that was strike number one, but strike number two was hitting me in the head and busting me open. You spilled my blood, and that's where it went from business, to personal. You didn't need to powerbomb me through that table, but you did that too and then the ultimate act of disrespect? You picked up that pen, dipped it into the blood spilling from my head, and forced me to sign the contract in my own blood, leading up to this. A first blood match. You're smart, I'mma give you that one. You know what you're doing and I wouldn't be surprised if Jade has you in her back pocket, considering you've yet to be punished for any of the stuff you've done to me, but it's all good. Tonight, we headline this show, right along with the title match..and I finally get a chance at revenge. And trust me boo boo, revenge ain't gonna be pretty.
After a brief pause, she continues.
Carmen Cambridge: You've mocked me, you've attacked me, you've robbed me of opportunities, but all of that changes tonight. I don't care that you went on to win a world championship in Valiant, I don't care that you're riding this wave of success after beating Pepper at the last show, and I don't care that you think you're God's gift to women, when you look like a mush faced troll, but what I do care about? Is spilling your blood, just like you spilled mines. We'll see how funny things are when you get a lil dose of payback, oh and Tyson? You can laugh about it on Twitter all you want after you lose, but for once at least be a man and own up to the fact that I'm better...even after all the time away.
Cambridge stares directly into the camera now, a clear signal to Tyson that she's ready for their co-main event later on in the evening.

BACKSTAGE
We cut to backstage of the Hammerstein Ballroom, more specifically the locker room area where Liberty Pro competitor, Tyson Gregory, is sitting back against the lockers, looking relaxed but has a very serious look in his eyes. Heś already in his ring gear and has a black hoodie with the hood up on. He lets out a sigh as he looks to the camera, leaning forward to get just a bit closer to the lens.
Tyson Gregory: Just to clear the air because I know that Carmen is going to bring it up… Sheś already done it twice on Twitter since I won it. So here we go, yes I recently won a championship in another company and yes I am very proud that I did. But that has nothing to do with Liberty Pro and has nothing to do with this First Blood match against Carmen Cambridge. Thatś why said championship is sitting in my bag and not draped over my shoulder right now. I don't want to give any reasoning or opening to say that I am not one hundred percent focused on this match, because I am. I know this match is a marquee one for Liberty Pro, itś why they have both myself and Carmen on the damn event poster. So that can only mean that whoever wins this match, whoever makes the other bleed first is going to get something favorable down the line.
A small smirk slowly starts to form on Tysonś face now, almost a wicked look to it.
Tyson Gregory: What this match is really about is me giving Carmen exactly what sheś asked for. We´ve been over this previously, since signing her contract with Liberty Pro, my name has been coming out of Carmenś mouth almost as much as every other name combined. Literally the day her signing was announced, she went on to publicly call me out. So just like I said to her publicly on Twitter, this is the whole begin careful what you wish for because you just might get it and I really don't think that Carmen knew what she was getting herself into. I think she saw the happy go lucky Tyson that is playful and people´s buddy online and while yes thatś who I am, I am also a much different creature when someone calls me out, when someone tries to make their money off my name. Itś nothing new with me, I haven't just been like this recently. Maybe I haven't been as vocal about it or had it shown on such a grand scale but let's be honest here… I've always been a damn pitbull in the ring.
His hand raises up and slowly pulls down his hood.
Tyson Gregory: And while Carmen is out there, putting on a show as she would call it, I'm making statements and winning matches. She wants to play up her nickname as the Gucci Girl or say how she keeps it real and all that filler but when it comes down to it, she's not really that special. You see with Carmen she has this pattern where she comes into a company hot like lightning but then she starts to burn and falter to the point that she doesn't even seem interested anymore. Go look back at how many times she's packed her bags, taken her ball and gone home back to Mexico. So far, she's followed the same path here in Liberty Pro… I even called her out on how sheś barely been tweeting and promoting lately. It's like after I put her through the table and put her in her place sheś went ghost. I don't actually blame her much, I'm sure her fragile, injury prone body is still reeling from what happened. I will admit that maybe… Just maybe I got carried away with things out there but you know, you can only take so much before you just have to let things blow up.
He shrugs a bit, slightly smiling again.
Tyson Gregory: But it was more a learning experience for Carmen, more of a showing her what to expect when she called me out at the start. I was nice and playful with things but now? Well, just call it tough love since Carmen doesn't seem to get what using my name for clout really gets her. And after this match is over, after she is left bleeding and defeated? Maybe then she will get how much of a mistake it was to call out my name.
He pulls his hood back up over his head and rises to his feet before walking out of his locker room.

HEADLINE: FIRST BLOOD
Tyson Gregory vs Carmen Cambridge
Tyson Gregory vs Carmen Cambridge
RECAP Carmen and Tyson start the match off aggressively, charging each other before Carmen successfully tackles Tyson to the mat. Carmen attempts to rip her nails into Tyson's forehead as she has him mounted, but Tyson grabs each of Carmen’s hands before lifting his head from the mat, connecting with a headbutt that rocks Carmen and knocks her off of Gregory. Tyson takes the opportunity to sit up and shake the cobwebs loose as Carmen shows her resiliency by hitting a dropkick to the face of her seated opponent. Carmen goes for a pin but the referee reminds her that this is a first blood match and that the only way to win is by making her opponent bleed. Carmen nods but this time it's Tyson who is on his feet, stalking behind Carmen. Carmen turns around to a boot to the face from Tyson. Cambridge immediately checks her forehead to see if she's bleeding, almost visibly sighing in relief to not see any on her hands. Tyson pulls Carmen to her feet but Carmen fires away with a pair of forearms to his face, stumbling Tyson back a few steps. Carmen runs and hits a spinning heel kick that sends Tyson crashing to the mat and then rolling to the floor. Tyson slowly stumbles to his feet and Carmen looks out to the fans who begin cheering for Cambridge. Carmen runs off the far ropes and then runs back towards the side where Tyson is at on the outside. Carmen jumps and flips over the top rope, crashing down onto Tyson on the floor! The pair both lay on the floor in pain as the fans cheer. Carmen is first to her feet. She picks Tyson up, but Tyson pokes her in the eye. Tyson then hits a reverse DDT on the floor before dropping down at Carmen's side. Tyson reaches out to Carm’s forehead and digs his fingertips into Carmen's forehead. Carmen kicks her feet trying to break free and she eventually does, rolling away. Tyson tries to grab her but Carmen kicks him away. Carmen pulls herself up and elbows Tyson in the stomach, bending him over. Carmen quickly hops to her feet and grabs Tyson by the head. Carmen slams Tyson face first onto the barricade at ringside, but it doesn't bust Tyson open. Carmen mounts him and begins punching away wildly, showing a more aggressive side to herself. The swinging wildly leads to Tyson moving his head to the right, causing Carmen to punch the hard floor! Carmen immediately grabs her hand and stands up, screaming in pain. She stumbles around, trying to push the pain out of her head when Tyson rises behind her. Tyson runs towards Carmen and pushes her forward, sending Carmen crashing face first into the ring post. Carmen falls face down onto the floor and Tyson shouts at the referee to check her. The referee walks towards Carmen who rolls to her back but she isn’t bleeding. Tyson picks Carmen up and he drops her on her head with a snap DDT but Cambridge still isn’t bleeding yet! Tyson yells at her, telling her to bleed before he gets down on his knees and begins to throw punch after punch to her face before Carmen rolls away. Carmen suddenly crawls under the ring and Tyson calls her a coward, telling her to stop running from him. Tyson looks under the ring but he doesn’t find Carmen, though Tyson does bring out a barbed wire 2X4. Tys looks down at the 2X4 with a sickening smile on his face before he starts to throw it to each hand as he whistles, waiting for Carmen to appear as he circles the outside of the ring. Carmen soon rolls from under the ring and she has a barbed wire bat in her hand, in fact, it looks like it’s Nathan Callaghan’s bat! She comes up from behind Tyson and goes to swing, but Tyson notices at the last second and he turns and swings his weapon as well and both Carmen and Tyson connect with each other’s heads. They both fall down to the ground and are completely out of it. The referee checks them both and neither of them are bleeding! The fans are going nuts as the two lie there, motionless in pain. After about a minute passes, the two begin to stir. They both get to their feet and start to trade blows! They go back and forth until Tyson soon gains momentum before he grabs Carmen and pulls her into him before leveling her with a clothesline. He then lifts her up and hits The End of Your Sorrow on the outside! Carmen looks completely knocked out. Tyson goes back under the ring and this time, he pulls out a sledge hammer. He taps it in his hand, looking ready to finally end Cambridge. After a few moments, Carmen begins to stir and the camera catches her pulling something from out of her top. When she stands and turns, Tyson goes to hit her with the sledgehammer but Carmen ducks. Tyson turns around and he’s met by a left hook from Carmen and he crashes to the ground! Carmen lifts her hand in the air for the camera to see and there’s a pair of brass knuckles on her hand. Tyson stirs to his knees and Cambridge charges, knocking him out this time. The referee checks for blood and there it is! Tyson is bleeding from his nose! The bell rings and Carmen is announced the winner! She drops to her knees in exhaustion, finally getting one over Tyson. Helena Noir: But I will not, because this… This is not about me. This is about you, three hopeless pretenders to my crown. Whether you came here because you earned it, kuke Scotty did or because someone else put you in this position, your journey ends tonight, and it ends with me. There will be no glory for you, no bragging rights for finally putting down that bitch, no happy ending for your fast rise to the top.
With slow movements, she grabs the Liberty Championship and wraps it around her waist.
Helena Noir: This title you see around my waist now, will still be around my waist at the end of the night. And that’s not because you lack the skills, far from it. I’ve shared a ring with you and I’d be a fool to underestimate you. But as talented as you three are, you still lack something.
With an unmistakable gesture, she taps her index to her chest, right where the heart is.
Helena Noir: Passion, desire, heart.. I may sound clichè, but they’re just as important as your technical prowess, your striking ability, your speed and agility. And from what I saw, I have grounds for questioning yours. The Liberty Championship is not just another title to chase for me, it’s not a means to get my name out there and sell more clothes, it’s not something I will brag about for a day and then move on to the next piece of gold, it’s not a second choice. This is what I’ve chased since joining two years ago, I could’ve gone to other companies, and I did. But no title, no achievements has ever had the same appeal as being THE champion of New York, nothing feels as good as winning the big one in a place you call home. The Liberty Championship is what I always wanted, and what I will be remembered for. It’s my legacy, and I’m not done building it yet.
There’s a slight smile on her face as she starts walking toward the entrance. A few steps and she stops, turning back to the camera.
Helena Noir: Don’t think I forgot about you, Tamsin. First of all, congratulations on your big win. You now have your golden ticket to get to me and take my title. Anytime, anywhere. Just like you won the Anarchy championship, just the way you like it. Word of advice: when you decide to use it, make sure you hit me with your best shot and knock me out. I wouldn’t want you, of all people, to be remembered as the first one to fail the cash in.
And then she goes, disappearing around the corner.

MAIN EVENT: ELIMINATION MATCH FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Helena Noir vs Scotty Latimer vs Xavier Laroux vs Precious Pepper Vain
Helena Noir vs Scotty Latimer vs Xavier Laroux vs Precious Pepper Vain
RECAP The main event of Liberation is finally here, the Liberty Championship is on the line in a four way elimination match between the champion, Helena Noir and the challengers, Scotty Latimer, Xavier Laroux and Precious Pepper Vain. Apparently after being exceptionally quiet even for her standards on social media, Helan saved everything she had to say for tonight, not even in her promo before the match but even now that they are all standing in the ring as well. PPV is the one she’s addressing with less than kind words, prompting an immediate reaction in the young entrepreneur in the form of a sound slap to the face. Waiting no further, the referee started the match officially, ordering for the bell to ring. Scotty and X quickly get at each other’s throat, trading stiff forearms while Helena has locked PPV in a hammerlock. The former Anarchy champion uses her technical prowess to break free, but it’s not working well for her, Noir maintaining the hold and staying one step ahead, seemingly having a counter for each of her counters. Until Fortune's Favorite uses her free arm to grab a handful of hair and yank, breaking free from the hold and taking the fight to the champ with a volley of forearm strikes. A few forbidden shots between Scotty and Xavier earned them a warning from the referee, who’s already having a rough time keeping things under control. especially now that the two pairs find themselves in opposite corners of the ring. Laroux has Latimer at the ropes, his arms hooked to the top one to keep his chest exposed to his knife edge chops, each one of them accompanied by the boos of the fans. After he’s done, Scotty’s pecs are covered in red marks but that’s the least of his problems. With a running big boot, X sends him out of the ring and quickly turns around, seeing Helena punching PPV in the opposite corner. He charges at full speed, jumping and connecting his knee to the back of the unaware champion’s head, pushing her against the corner. Precious moves away just in time to avoid remaining stuck under Helena’s body, joining Laroux in stomping Noir into the ground. The fast and furious action is keeping the fans on the edge of their seats, putting them through the whole range of emotions. From the cry of joy dying in their throat when X kicked out in two after Scotty caved his face in with his V-Trigger knee to the sigh of relief when Helena, clearly the fan favorite in this contest, kicked out from PPV’s Killing Stroke (straight-jacket suplex). With still four competitors going back and forth at such a frantic pace, missing small parts of actions is a likely possibility. And while missing PPV’s raking Scotty’s eyes to catch a break from his relentless assault can be considered acceptable, turning around a second too late to make the count when Helena caught X with a magistral cradle has a bigger impact on the match. Helena shakes her head, telling the referee to “be better” before focusing back on Your Favorite Drug. As they are back trading blows, Scotty joins them taking a cheap shot to the back of the GEW Grand Champion’s head. Helena sends him stumbling back with a bicycle kick, ducking a clothesline from Laroux and taking a run to the ropes, going for a crossbody. X blocks her attempt and slams her on his knee with a backbreaker.Instead of making a cover on her, he charges at Scotty with the Narcoterrorism. He takes a moment to gloat, and that’s all that Helena needs to take a run and hit him with the Dalecarlian Horse. X wisely rolls towards the ropes, chased by Helena in an attempt to catch him and make the cover. But he manages to leave the ring before she can catch him. In the meantime PPV, who was watching the match while recovering in the corner, slides into a cover on Latimer, who somehow raises his shoulder in time. With X still on the outside, the three remaining competitors are holding nothing back. PPV almost eliminates the champion with a kick to the side of the head, Scotty almost gets his revenge on the fashion designer with a flipping piledriver and Helena locks Latimer in a stretch muffler and starts kicking him on the head to stop him from dragging himself to the ropes. He eventually gets there, but paying a high price in terms of energy spent. Noticing Xavier still taking an extended break on the outside, Helena decides to make him feel more involved with a baseball slide that sends him head first against the commentators table. Pepper grabs Helena in a waistlock and hits a german suplex, getting hit with a neckbreaker from Latimer when she gets back up to her feet. Laroux eventually enters the ring once again, but he doesn’t do so empty handed. He’s holding the Liberty Championship and he drives it in Helena’s face, leaving the fans, the commentary team and the other opponents as well. The referee has no choice but to disqualify him, not that Xavier seems to care. He laughs at Helena, left bleeding and in agony on the mat. The GEW grand champion turns around and hits Scotty with the belt, flooring him as well. PPV takes a step back, readying herself expecting to be the next one. But Your Favorite Drug drops the Liberty championship and leaves. Precious is confused, but quickly realizes how big of an opportunity this is for her, making the cover on Scotty and eliminating him. Wasting no time, she does the same to Helena, but the champ kicks out. What should’ve been an easy task for Pepper is turning to be a frustrating experience. Helena is barely standing, unable to put in any sort of offense whatsoever. But she’s not staying down, refusing to give up her title no matter what PPV hits her with. Brainbuster, suplexes and even a piledriver. Nothing seems to work to keep the resilient champion down, and Pepper is losing her cool. She starts arguing with the referee, giving Helena some time to recover. And when she tries to connect another Killing Stroke, the Liberty champion swings her head backwards, catching the challenger on the bridge of the nose. Digging down deep Noir manages to get a reaction, going at Pepper with some swift combinations, kicks and knees mostly. The mastermind behind Danger & Play is losing ground, backing down under the champion pinpoint attacks. The last one targets PPV mid-section doubling her over and setting her up for the Ink Yo Face. Not without struggling Helena rolls her on her back and makes the cover, but PPV kicks out. Feeling the momentum on her side, the swede sends the opponent against the ropes and knocks her down with a leg lariat. First back on her feet, Helena waits for the challenger to get up and charges at full speed for the Dalecarlian Horse… Connecting to her jaw! The fans get on their feet cheering for Helena as she makes the cover to retain the title. BUT PPV KICKS OUT! The look on the champion’s face is worth a thousand words. She can’t believe her eyes, and neither can the fans. Both competitors are exhausted, their faces covered in blood. Helena for being slammed with her own title, PPV still bleeding from the nose that, after the headbutt, took at least a couple more shots. Their strikes as they meet in the middle of the ring are slower than they used to be, but no less stiff. Miss LPW gets the advantage with a poke to the eye and quickly takes her down with a roundhouse kick. She then climbs to the top rope, jumping off it with her Collapsing Star diving double foot stomp. PPV almost collapses on the opponent, covering her for the one, two and thr… Helena’s hand is holding the bottom rope, interrupting the count. Precious is out of her mind, dragging the champion up to her feet and hitting her with more forearm strikes to the face. A second, that’s all it takes Helena to interrupt her flurry of strikes with a kick to the stomach, and lifting her for the cradle DDT, the first part of the Fondu Au Noir. In one fluid motion she locks Pepper in the guillotine choke, squeezing tightly to cut the oxygen flux. PPV struggles trying to get free, but the more she wiggles, the tighter Helena’s hold becomes. And eventually, she has no choice but to tap. WINNER And still Liberty Champion… HELENA NOIR! METHOD SUBMISSION MATCH LENGTH 28:32 FINISHING MOVE Fondu Au Noir POST-MATCH Helena Noir is handed her Liberty Championship after the bell has rung. She raises it in the air as she catches her breath when suddenly, “Boys X Girls” - You Love Her Coz She’s Dead plays over the PA system and out walks Tamsin and the rest of Nachethexen. Helena looks up at the top of the entrance way and Tamsin holds up the Liberty In The Bank briefcase. Helena raises her Liberty Championship in the air and taps it. Tamsin points at her briefcase and mouths the words, ‘see you soon!’ to Helena as the feed goes off the air with that scene. |
