MATCH ONE: OPEN CHALLENGE
Freddie Hjalmar Open Challenge
Freddie Hjalmar Open Challenge
RECAP Freddie is standing in the middle of the ring and said that this week, he heard his open challenge was a huge surprise! A former Liberty competitor apparently. Soon enough it was revealed to be Larclan. He made his way down to the ring and he went after Hjalmar but he didn’t stand a chance against THE PROMISED. It didn’t take long for Freddie to put Larclan down with The Thorn. He pinned him and picked up the three count and the win. The scene cuts backstage to Jade Night in her office. A knock is heard at the door but she looks at it and shakes her head. She ignores it as she focuses on the task at hand for later tonight. Her match with Kendrick Kross… It’ll be the first time she gets in the ring in quite time, so it makes sense that this boss is trying her best to focus in. The scene then cuts away.

MATCH TWO: TRIPLE THREAT
Kasey Kash vs Brady Vega vs Nathalie Genevieve
Kasey Kash vs Brady Vega vs Nathalie Genevieve
RECAP Before this match could begin, we have Kasey in the ring and Nathalie at the top of the entrance way. Before Genevieve can get down the ramp any further, Brady Vega showed up behind her and whacked her with a chair! Kasey couldn’t believe what was happening as Brady slammed the chair over Nathalie over and over again. He then put her leg in between the chair and he stared into the ring at Kasey and pointed at him. Brady then stomped on the chair, doing God knows what damage to Nathalie’s leg! Nathalie screamed as she held onto her leg and knee and Brady pointed at Kasey, letting him know he’s about to be next but that doesn’t happen, as the referee calls the match off considering what just happened to Nathalie. Brady and Kasey stare at each other from afar before the scene cut away. WINNER No Contest METHOD N/A MATCH LENGTH N/A FINISHING MOVE N/A |

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Ava Ryan vs Hope Williams
Ava Ryan vs Hope Williams
RECAP This special 'Beat The Clock' challenge match was testing newcomer Ava Ryan to see if she could defeat Hope Williams, and if so, could she do it faster than Alex Reeves could defeat Tamsin? But Hope wasn't going to make this easy and the match quickly took a dirty turn as Hope tried grappling Ava, but the feisty blonde instead dug a nail into the right eye of her opponent. From there, Ava was able to control the first few moments, but the dirty nature of her style was enough to irritate Hope into fighting back quickly and aggressively. Hope proved to be the more technically sound of the two, turning the tide with an impressive overhead belly to belly suplex. The clock was ticking and Hope was clearly the one in control for the next few moments. Hope was able to wear down and frustrate Ava with an abdominal stretch. To match the dirty tactics by Ryan earlier, Hope grabs the top rope as the referee was on a knee and asking Ava if she gave up, so the assistance from the top rope was enough to put more pressure on the hold, but Ava refused to quit or give in. Hope does manage to nearly pick up the win with a brainbuster, but Ava was able to kick out just before the count of three. With Hope firmly in control, at just over the six minute mark, she made a crucial mistake as she attempted to hit her Ray of Hope but landed awkwardly on her feet when Ava rolled out of the way. The brief stutter and hobble in her step gave Ava the opportunity she was looking for as she spun Hope around and lifted her high into the air, dropping her with an elevated DDT that she calls The Ryan Effect. A hook of the leg was enough to give Ava a win in her debut, and a time of 6:49 for Alex to try and beat. WINNER Ava Ryan METHOD PINFALL MATCH LENGTH 6:49 FINISHING MOVE The Ryan Effect |

Max Cerrano is standing backstage with his Gotham Championship on his shoulder. He proclaims that none of the three men in this tag match are worthy to share a ring with him and that he is tired of entertaining a fool like TJ Techniques, who doesn’t deserve a shot at his Gotham Championship, the one that Max successfully defended against that trash company, GEW. Max goes on to say that this match is meaningless but he will still go out there and perform. Not because anyone deserves it, no, but because he wants to embarrass all of them and show the world just how beneath him they all truly are. He then walked out of the frame and the scene cut away.

Ava Ryan was walking backstage after her match with a smile on her face, victorious just moments ago against Hope Williams. Despite the smile and her decent time in the beat the clock challenge, she also was favoring her neck as she rubs it. The brainbuster in the match did a number on her. While keeping a fairly quick pace, the feisty advisor to Jade Night stops in her tracks when she sees Kendrick Kross standing just ahead of her up the hallway. Kendrick was tossing a bottle of water up and down as he approaches the blonde who eyes him up.
Ava Ryan: I can see it all over your face. You're impressed about how fast I was in that beat the clock challenge match aren't you?
Kendrick was just a few feet away from her now as he tosses the bottle towards her. Ava catches it and nods as her way of saying 'thank you'.
Kendrick Kross: While yes, I was.
Kendrick let out a smirk as he had paid attention to her match but was also running things through his head about his coming up match with Jade, the match he had been wanting and looking forward to all week. For him to have found out it was a Falls Count Anywhere match made him that much happier about his match
Kendrick Kross: For your debut here you definitely had one hell of a match there. I have a huge match though as well. Me vs Jade? Falls Count Anywhere? Oh this is going to be exciting.
Kendrick inches his way towards the blonde as he got up near her, wearing a smirk on his face.
Kendrick Kross: I’m sure your boss or whatever she is isn’t lookin forward to this match. Even if she says she is.
Ava Ryan: I honestly haven't been around her much today. There's this silent tension between us that turns not so silent when we're in the same room together for too long.
Ava rubs the back of her neck a bit more, still a bit shook up from the competitive back and forth in her match against Hope Williams. She then takes another quick drink of the water.
Ava Ryan: What I can say is this...Jade knows what she's doing and she always seems to have a plan. Falls count anywhere might seem good to you, but that just gives her the opportunity to lure you back here, have The Pride or others waiting to lay you out and give her the win. I know how important this is to you, just make sure your head is on a swivel.
Taking a few deep breaths, she acknowledges his confidence.
Ava Ryan: You know that while I'm an advisor to Jade, I also respect you and what you're capable of you. I did fight to get you unsuspended by the way, so I have no doubt that if everything is as fair as possible that you'll walk out victorious. Still though...be careful.
Kendrick Kross: Oh the tension between you two is obvious at times. But I think that’s because she sees you as a threat. She knows you’re just as smart as her and could run this company better than her. Better booking and fairer.
Kendrick grabs a bottle of water out of a cooler that was next to them and twists the cap off and takes a drink before placing the cap back on.
Kendrick Kross: Neck hurt? That’ll go away. And with the showing you had out there tonight I have no doubt you’ll be winning your next match against Alex.
Kendrick looks at her as he could see the fire in her eyes as he mentioned her opponent.
Kendrick Kross: Oh I hope she has the Pride out here. She has the Pride waiting for me I’ll make sure I have something waiting for her.
Kendrick smiles a bit as he keeps his eyes locked on the advisor.
Kendrick Kross: I know how hard you worked for me to get unsuspended and believe me, that is going to pay off. Guarantee it.
Ava Ryan: You don't owe me anything, I just want to make Liberty better for everyone involved. Jade has nearly ruined this place more than a few times, and with just signing here to wrestle, I want it to be around for years to come. So I have my hands full with her.
Ava thinks back to him mentioning Alex just a moment ago and she clenches her fist at her side.
Ava Ryan: As for Alex, she wants to play tough bitch and attack me on Twitter, and then try to be the 'bigger person' and run away? I hope my time was good enough, because there won't be any running if I have my way. Her ass is mine on the 23rd.
Feeling herself getting worked up, she looks down at her fist and unclenches it and takes a deep breath.
Ava Ryan: I need to go sit down and relax. And then I need to find Jade and make sure she doesn't do anything else crazy before this show goes off the air tonight. But hey? Good luck. I know what you can do, and I just hope you get a chance to show it to Jade first hand. Show her that even thinking about suspending you was silly. Just do me a favor? Don't totally finish her. I still have to work with her.
The blonde flashes a smirk as she goes to walk by Kendrick who steps aside but gets her attention once more by calling out her name.
Kendrick Kross: Oh you’ve made Liberty better already believe me. Just coming in to be the advisor has made Jade know she needs to cool herself but I’m going to show her even more tonight why she shouldn’t have tried to screw me and the rest of the GEW team.
Kendrick knew she was anxious to get back and unwind after such a high adrenaline and pressure match, so he looks down the hallway, telling her she can take her leave.
Kendrick Kross: Hey you relax all you want, you deserve it. As for finding Jade? When you see her tell her she’s gonna get her ass kicked by me. And I’ll try not to finish her, can’t guarantee that though.
Kendrick laughs a bit as he watches Ava walk by as he heads to finish his prep for the match.

Donovan Rich & Max Cerrano vs Mighty Sparrow & TJ Techniques
RECAP This match was even in the beginning until Donovan and Max decided to use cheap tactics to put in work on Mighty Sparrow. They kept him in their corner, continuing to work him over but eventually, Sparrow hit Rich with an enziguri. Max got into the action and tried to prevent Mighty tagging in TJ but Mighty fought him off with a capo kick before he dives and tags in TJ. TJ came in on fire, taking out anyone who stood in his way. He took Donovan down with a snap DDT and then looked in the corner at Max Cerrano and told him to bring it on. Max simply rolled his eyes and shook his head before he dropped down from the apron, grabbed his Gotham Championship and walked away, leaving Donovan to fend for himself. TJ shook his head when Donovan started to stir. TJ then refocuses on him and takes him out with Set 'Em Straight (Busaiku Knee Strike). He then tagged in the Mighty Sparrow, the Battle Royal King of New York winner. Sparrow hit the top rope and he took flight! He nailed Donovan with Calypso Cross - 630 Senton! He then pinned him and got the win for himself and TJ. TJ looked up at the ramp and saw Max standing there with an evil glare. TJ made a championship motion around his waist as he nodded towards Max. RECAP Julio Banks stood in the middle of the ring as Cait took her time making her way down to the ring. It didn’t matter though because Josh Anderson slid in the ring from behind and slammed a chair across Julio’s back. This was legal as the match was Anarchy rules. Cait smiled as she looked on at her boyfriend in the ring. She then slid into the ring herself and Josh told the referee to ring the bell. He listened and Josh picked up Julio for Cait, who then nailed him with Irish Goodbye - Double underhook piledriver (Pedigree). RINGSIDE
'Your Favorite Drug' by Porcelain and The Tramps filled the air as Xavier Laroux emerged out onto the stage from behind those curtains. Not wasting a single moment, Laroux began to make his way down the ramp before sliding into the ring under the bottom set of ropes.
Popping back up to his feet, Xavier walked over and leaned between the ropes to be handed a microphone. Walking back to the middle of the ring, Laroux was dressed to compete, sporting those tattered and faded denim jeans and that skin tight white tank top. He brought the microphone up as the music cut and his talking began.
Xavier Laroux: Last week, I offered Jade the chance to say everythin she hadda say to me, like an adult, that right there, y'know shit's bad when -I- gotta be the fuckin adult in a situation. But I digress, I gave her the chance and what did I get for it? I get jumped by her two lilfuckin lapdogs. I get put in a damn near impossible to come outta on top situation.
With his free hand, Laroux ran it across the hair atop his head before shaking his head. Sighing out, he followed it up with a laugh before returning to what he was saying.
Xavier Laroux: Whenever someone asks me, 'X, why can't you do things the -right- way?' they can look to moments like this. Moments where I TRY to do the right thing only to get fucked over. So here's what's gonna happen. There is no right way, there is no wrong way..there is only MY WAY!
Which brings me back to tonight's match. Jade, herself, said unless I can find a partner for tonight, I gotta go in it alone. Then, in the very same fuckin breath, she said any member of the Liberty roster that decides to step up to help me will be severely punished.
That last part was spoken in a rather mocking tone, laughing out afterwards.
Xavier Laroux: And that's okay. Jade wants every one of us to fall in line. To bow to her every fuckin whim. But lemme tell ya, I damn sure ain't the only on the roster who's fuckin dyin for the chance to take her fuckin head off. With that in mind, I didn't even ask a single fuckin person to be my partner tonight.
His expression straightened out as he gave off a slight shrug. That straight face slowly shifted into that oh so arrogant smirk he usually wore.
Xavier Laroux: But someone asked me.
There was a bit of a commotion at the crowd railing as fans were parted to either side. Climbing over that railing was revealed to be none other than Gabriel Laroux. The smirk Xavier wore had never been larger as he watched his older brother climb into the ring. Gabriel took the microphone as Xavier handed it to him as he went to get another.
Gabriel Laroux: You honestly didn't think I would just sit back while you tried to ruin everything my brother..my flesh and blood..is working for..did you? I gave you an open opportunity to settle this in a way that benefits you both..but that wasn't good enough for you..was it Jade?
The eldest Laroux began to unbutton the black dress shirt he wore to reveal the white tanktop beneath it. Dropping the top shirt to the side, he pulled off the tanktop next, pitching it off to the side.
Gabriel Laroux: I..am the consequences of your actions.
Xavier Laroux: And that starts tonight!
Gabriel Laroux: Tonight..we strip you of your Pride.
Xavier Laroux: So bring'em the fuck out so we can get this party in full fuckin swing!
The Larouxs tossed their microphones to the side as they began to loosen themselves up as they awaited the arrival of Daniels and Hunter.

He was everywhere in the ring, taking out JD at one point before working over Chase Hunter. But soon enough Chase took Gabe out with a wicked spinebuster. Chase tagged in JD and JD utterly dominated the match from here on out. X tried to get into the action but Daniels took down his longtime rival with a big boot. JD soon tagged in Chase and they went to work on X, keeping him away from his corner. The match seemed to be in the hand of The Pride but Ava Ryan made her way down to the ring and jumped up on the apron. Chase tried to knock her off but she dropped down. The referee yelled at Ava and X hit Chase with a low blow while Gabe took JD off of the apron but took out his legs and then slammed him into the steel steps. Micaela soon gets her with a thumb to the eye and ROTTEN is able to control the match. Micaela and Rory beat down Honey in their corner and get a couple of near falls on her. Rory goes for a shining wizard but Honey ducks it and hits her patented DDT. The former MMA Champion controls things and it looks like he and Honey are going to pull it off when OTK gets into the ring with a chair and slams it over Derrick’s head. The referee calls for the bell and announces Derrick and Honey the winner but OTK then takes Honey out with the chair. ROTTEN puts the beat down on Derrick and Honey and it looks like their eyes are set on something else. OTK goes over to the bell area and he grabs the Liberty in the Bank Briefcase!!! He brings it into the ring and slams it down onto Derrick and then yells that he never really earned it and that the briefcase is just another marketing plow made by the man to get the fans foolishly involved in such an unfair thing. A sharp cut to the back, the Liberty Pro camera crew finds Tamsin in the back - alone. A plain hoodie over her gear, the cameras cut in close. As the 40k comes with great clarity, we can easily see that she doesn’t look all put together. Her hair is a wild stringy mess, she looks like she hasn’t slept in days. While this isn’t quite out of the norm for her, the blank expression on her face is particularly jarring.
Known for being one of the most expressive professional wrestlers in the business, it would be well expected for her to be the one in search of a camera and some facetime. However, the tentative voice of one of the crewmen spells out something quite contrary.
Crewman: “Hey, Tamsin we’ve been looking for you about an hour.”
She gives no real response, the camera lingers on the shot - Tamsin looking off frame into the yonder. While uncaptured, the tone of the crewman grows even further antsy. Tamsin has a known history for lashing out violently, on practically anyone. The crewman speaks as if he’s half expecting her to rise from her chair and crack him over the head with it. Instead, he’s treated to a slow turn from the Manx Axe Murderer. Her neck slowly moving to face him, and the camera proper.
Crewman: “We uhm, we were supposed to get something for your matchup against Reeves. We got a little time before you’re queued up.”
Even giving him eye contact, it’s like she might as well not even be present. Her look isn’t her usual snarl, not even a devious smirk, just nothing. She turns her gaze from the cameraman towards the center frame. Her facial expression tight and showing no signs of any form of emoting.
Crewman: “Uhm… Anything you want to say about your match?”
Tamsin: “No.”
It came out as soon as he’d finished his sentence. Her tone is very curt, measured, and frigid.
Crewman: “Ooookay, what about your return to Liberty Pro? Last sho-”
Tamsin: “No.”
This moment feels surreal, even for something as colorful as wrestling. The crewman literally has nothing else to try and put out there. Instead we’re treated to a very long, awkward, and unsettling stare into the camera from Tamsin. She seems robotical, and you can barely see her chest heave from breathing. The moment only lasts for two minutes, but it feels as if it runs for ages. All until the sound of Tamsin’s theme plays.
She slowly pushes herself up, uncaringly brushing into the camera as she did so. Readjusting the shot, the last thing we see is Tamsin’s back as she starts the walk towards gorilla.
Last sho-”

Tamsin vs Alex Reeves
Tamsin vs Alex Reeves
RECAP The match began and it was a battle of speed and athleticism between the two women. It was even for a bit but Tamsin soon took Alex down with several drop kicks to the knee before hitting a snap DDT. She pinned but her kicked out. Tamsin worked on her knees for a few moments and she was reeling from it. Tamsin charged, going for a flying knee strike but Alex ducked it and when Tamsin turned Reeves nailed her with a brutal superkick. Alex pinned her but she kicked out after two. Alex tried to take advantage now that she had Tamsin on the defensive but it was hard for her to stand with the damage to her knee. Nonetheless, Alex powered through and hit a few more moves on Tamsin, trying to keep her down. Eventually Tamsin got back in the match by throwing a shoulder dive into Alex's knee! Tamsin had her on the ropes. She picked Alex up and she dropped her with a snap DDT. Tamsin would control the majority of the match now, purposefully slowing Alex down, knowing Alex was trying to beat the clock of the length of Ava’s match from earlier. Tamsin laughed and told Alex she wasn’t just going to lose out on the clock but she was going to lose the match as well. Tamsin went to pick Alex up but Alex shoved her away with a forearm smash. Alex, now feeling motivated, ignored her knee pain as she charged Tamsin and leveled her with a running knee strike with her good knee. She picked Tamsin up and threw her to the ropes but Tamsin came back and nailed Reeves with "Veto" Charging Headbutt. Alex stood dazed before dropped. Alex then dropped and Tamsin pinned her but right before a three count, Alex countered the pin into a roll up of her own and she not old held onto Tamsin’s tights but got her foot on the ropes! The referee didn’t notice either as he counted to three. The bell rang and Alex beat the clock by three whole seconds! Reeves rolled out of the ring and looked up at Tamsin with a grin on her face. Tamsin couldn’t help but smile and shake her head before giving Alex a thumbs up, showing her props, knowing she would’ve done the same thing. Precious Pepper Vain is standing backstage with her two championships on her shoulders. She claims that there’s a reason she’s a double champ and the next big thing in wrestling. She’s worked hard for this and she isn’t going to let anyone slow her down. While she’s building up the Anarchy Championship at the moment, don’t get it twisted, she will be the Liberty Champion one day. But today? Today she takes down the guy who believes he deserves that championship. Scotty isn’t going to know what hit him later. PPV then nodded and walked off, heading out towards her match.

Scotty Latimer vs Precious Pepper Vain
RECAP This match was a back and forth affair between Scotty and the double champ, PPV. Scotty showed off his brawler style in this one, coming at PPV in all angles but PPV also showed her speed and technical ability. The competitors who share homes in Liberty and GEW both really wanted this one and throughout the match, they were mostly even. Scotty even hit his Final Wave (Blade runner) but it sent PPV flying out of the ring. The referee counted to nine but PPV was able to get back in. Scotty controlled the match for a bit from here, having several near falls but PPV showed her strength and resilience, there’s a reason she’s Anarchy Champion after all. Soon enough though, the match would change tide when Scotty missed his second FInal Wave.Pepper Vain locked him in a crossface and it did a lot of damage but Latimer got his foot on the ropes. Pepper held on for almost five seconds but broke it up before the referee could finish the count. PPV soon hit Scotty with a snap suplex before lifting him up and nailing him with a bridging German Suplex. She kept him in the pin but Scotty kicked out. She picked Latimer up but he shoved her off and when he tried to charge her, she nailed him with a super kick. PPV then hit the top ropes, looking to go for her big finish but suddenly someone jumped up on the apron. IT’S MEGAN MONROE FROM MILLENNIUM!!! The two have had their fair share of problems and PPV challenged Megan to three matches, one coming up at Festivus For The Rest of Us. The two yell at each other and this let’s Scotty get up and suplex PPV off the top rope. He then stalks her and nails her with another Final Wave! He pins PPV and gets the three count and the win. Scotty quickly rolls out of the ring, knowing he has other business to tend to. Megan Monroe slides into the ring with the Anarchy Championship and when PPV gets up, Megan charges and levels her with it. Megan then raises the Anarchy Championship in the air before dropping it on PPV and exiting the ring. WINNER Scotty Latimer METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 16:21 FINISHING MOVE Final Wave |

Here we see Brianna Leigh Clark in her usual wrestling gear, just finishing up with the lacing of her boots. Satisfied with that she lets out a sigh and picks up a Whole Ass Chips branded snapback with a little grin on her face.
Brianna Clark: People like to say a lot of redundant things in wrestling don’t they? I guess I should explain that a little. My opponent here tonight in an effort not to say what she usually would have, threw off a snarky little Tweet comment about how what I had to say about the match last Liberation says that she’s ‘living rent free’. How is it someone like Liz Jones who’s been around the block a few times, As If and surely she’s gotten jiggy with it, all while thinking she’s dabomb say something just so … vapid? I guess?
Brianna rolls her expressive eyes as she sets the hat on over her braids, moving to look in the mirror to make sure that it’s settled just right before she glances over at the camera.
Brianna Clark: I should really apologize for all that mess I mean really. Awful. Terrible. Ridiculous… but not as ridiculous as the idea that it’s somehow wrong to focus on your opponents? To pay attention to what they have to say, how they approach a match, how they act after being in one with you? It’s all information Liz, and well a more useful saying is that knowing is half the battle.
She manages to just barely restrain herself from humming the GI Joe theme, pausing to look around before winking at the camera.
Brianna Clark: I think about Liz Jones, because she is a glory hog. She’s Homelander, standing high above the city chanting to herself that she can do whatever I want. Well you can’t, Liz. There’s always going to be someone who can wreck your plans, that’s a part of life. This match between us, well frankly I’ve got a few ideas about what I want to pick for the stipulation and I’d love to tell you all about them but I’m sure that if I do, your ass is petty enough to make sure that none of them get used even if they’re cool.
Brianna heads out of the locker, shaking her head.
Brianna Clark: I really think Kaia and I deserve to have some real fun, make a big splash, you know? Have a match that isn’t seen all the time, or recently, you know. So maybe I’m going to fight harder to make sure that happens, yeah. Yeah!
She grins and throws a victory sign before moving on out of camera range.

Lizzie Jones vs Brianna Leigh Clark
RECAP Lizzie Jones and Brianna Leigh Clark have gone from teaming to having to fight each other and now they go one on one in this battle. The two definitely don’t have much love for each other, especially with Lizzie laying out BLC after their tag match at Kings & Queens of New York. BLC used her strength to keep Lizzie down at the beginning of this, hitting her with suplexes and other power moves. She gets several near falls but Lizzie swipes Brianna in the eyes, blinding her and then taking her down with a snap DDT. Lizzie stomps on Brianna, telling her to stay down. She then lifts Bri up and whips her into the corner before charging in and hitting her with a leaping body splash. Lizzie then follows it up with a running bulldog. Lizzie then waits for Bri to stir and goes for her The Calamity (Running single leg front dropkick) but Bri has it scouted and she ducks it! Brianna then hits the ropes and she comes back and she levels Lizzie with Incoming! (Shotgun Double Knee). Lizzie is completely laid out and Brianna collapses down on her in exhaustion. Brianna gets the three count and the win, winning the ability to choose the stipulation with her match with Lizzie and Kaia for the US Championship. I still have something left in the tank and while I was going to focus that on Xavier Laroux? You decided to cut in on the action. And you know what? I’m going to make you pay for it. HEADLINE: FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
Kendrick Kross vs Jade Night
Kendrick Kross vs Jade Night
RECAP The crowd cheered wildly in anticipation of the bout that they were about to witness. Night and Kross made a beeline towards each other as the bell rang. The action started off with both competitors hammering each other with stiff punches. Night began to get the advantage, but she was stopped in her tracks when Kross drilled her with a wicked forearm. With the momentum in his favor, Kross hit her opponent with two hard slaps, a kick to the left quad, followed by a high roundhouse. Night attempted to get her arms and hands up to block the strike, but she still caught most of the blow. Disorientated a bit, Night hit the mat. When Jade stirred, Kross rushed and clocked Night with a couple of forearms before throwing out a spinning heel kick. Night ducked under the move at the last moment; she then pivoted and drove shoulder into Kross’ quad as completed an impressive chop block. From there, Night kept her opponent grounded with stomps and submissions moves to that leg. After releasing a hold, Night ran and nailed Kross’ leg with a shooting star press. Not letting up, Night grabbed Kross by the leg and drugged him to the corner. Night rolled underneath the bottom rope, took Kross’ leg, and then tossed it against the steel post. Kross grabbed his leg and yelled out as Jade continued to work on his leg. Night maintained control of the match for a little bit before she went for her handspring Nightmare Cutter. However, Kross was able to turn the tide as he blasted his opponent in the face with his good leg just as Night was coming back down from her handspring. Night rolled out of the ring to try and catch her breath, but Kross rolled out onto the ring apron as he rubbed her leg. As Night turned back around, she got blasted with a diving knee to the face. The two competitors brawled on the outside a bit. Both were evenly matched until Night drove her fingers into Kross’ eyes. Kross fell to his knees and grabbed his face. Night taunted the Kross just a bit before she then turned around just in time to see a steel chair flying at her face. Night dropped to the floor as a result of the chair shot; Kross then pounced on her and peppered her with punches. The two fought on the ground a bit more before Night punched Kross straight in the face. Night stomped on that leg a couple of times before she violently kicked her opponent in the head. Night then reached under the ring and grabbed a table. After setting up the table, Night retrieved the steel chair and smacked Kross a few times before she set her on top of it. Night then rolled into the ring and climbed the nearest corner. After spotting up, Night dove off the top rope with her Jaded Nightmare (five-star frog splash.) Jade took a moment to stand up when the video of her getting devastated by Skylar Riggs started to play on the big screen. Jade stopped dead in her tracks as she tried to cover her face in horror. Xavier Laroux and Gabriel Laroux stood at the top of the entranceway laughing as Jade had to relive her nightmares once again. This gave Kendrick Kross the chance to get up and he took Jade out with a chair shot to the face. He put her in the ring and he began to slam the chair down on her over and over again. Suddenly, Jacob Daniels and Chase Hunter were at the top of the entrance way and they attacked Gabe and Xavier from behind, wanting to get to the ring to help Jade out. But the two teams continued to brawl. Jade continued to get beaten down by Kendrick, who called her a bitch and told her she better enjoy being taught this lesson. But out from the crowd comes Alex Reeves! She slid into the ring with a kendo stick and she slammed it across Kendrick’s back. Alex pummeled Kendrick with the kendrick stick over and over until it broke in half. Jade started to stir and Alex checked on her well being to make sure she was okay, not just physically, but mentally as well. Kendrick began to sir but Alex saw him and she nailed him with Sweet Dreams (Leaping complete shot). Reeves then signaled for Jade to hit the top rope. Jade did so and she hit a second Jaded Nightmare. She pinned Kendrick and got the three count and the win and meanwhile up on the entrance way, The Pride had just taken care of Gabe and X, throwing them off the entrance way down to the floor. Jade has a blank look on her face from what transpired but she tells Alex to get her a mic. Alex does and Jade begins to speak. Jade Night: …At Festivus For The Rest of Us… I will be fighting Xavier Laroux… IN A SCAFFOLDING MATCH! Alex looks at Jade in surprise as she announces the match, knowing how dangerous it is. The cameras are backstage in the locker room area as a very focused Kaia Grainger walks past, she places her bag down on a bench, with her hair tied back tightly. A smile forms on her face before she takes a seat looking directly towards the viewers at home.
Kaia Grainger: “Tonight is the big deal, yet again I’m finding myself making the same quotes over and over again, but tonight is possibly the biggest match of my young career. I mentioned it before how I’ve faced some of the biggest names in this industry and have been able to come out on top despite the odds.”
She pauses now, slowly opening her bag before she pulls out the Liberty Pro US Championship and stares at it emphatically taking a cloth that she keeps in her bag as well and she runs it across the gold plating, staring at her name at the bottom for a few moments before she looks back up, the smile she wears still strong but fading slightly.
Kaia Grainger: “It is hard to imagine a time when I didn’t have this belt with me, hard to imagine a time when I wasn’t staking a claim at being one of Liberty Pro’s best, hard to imagine who I was before my wrestler career began. Some girl from Seaside, Oregon whose home town people only noticed because they saw featured in the Goonies. A young rookie who’d made her bread and butter by modeling, becoming a business woman, and negotiating her way to the top. People asking me why I wanted to do this and what it all meant to me as if I needed to justify a dream like this to anyone else.”
She paused breathing inwardly before smiling further.
Kaia Grainger: “The answer has finally arrived though. I’ve been a part of the sports-entertainment industry basically since birth. I watched my father negotiate deals from his gym to broker in new clients and fights to feature to make people pay attention to his club. Learned how to watch and listen, to show passion and humility for the sport each and every one of us who steps foot into that ring learn to show. All in an effort to become one of the best, to travel the world and face others who have also become one of the best, and to try and beat them to prove once and for all just who the best is on that given night.”
She momentarily pauses letting her hair loose from the ponytail and slowly sliding away the sports jacket she wore, now in more of a sports bra number, as she stood to her feet hoisting the belt up onto her shoulders.
Kaia Grainger: “I know companies rate their titles and therefore their competitors from top to bottom. I understand that many would consider me being the US Champion taking on someone like Helena Noir the Liberty Pro Champion to be the underdog. I would almost say its certain that I am. Helena has the experience, she has the top prize, and earnestly she has my respect when it comes down to it. Yet, I was chosen for this main event because I know what its like to fill the role of the underdog. I’ve played that role all of my life when others tried to tell me I couldn’t do something. Kaia couldn’t be this or that, but we all know people who say those things are only affected by the limitations of their own mind and simply unaware of capability.”
She pauses further to allow that point to sink in.
Kaia Grainger: “I’m not here to make a claim on Helena’s prize however, because I am quite happy with the position I’ve found myself in as your Liberty Pro US Champion. This match isn’t about the prize nor is it about the outcome truthfully, it’s about showing the world that despite always being considered the underdog you can do anything you want to if you put your mind to it and I certainly do want to prove that on any given night, much like I can hang with the rest of the roster despite where many might believe my title ranks. . .”
Her smile grows again.
Kaia Grainger: “I can contend with your top champion if I so choose, and that is definitely a light that needs to shine.”
Pausing momentarily she takes a second to laugh before opening up her locker and grabbing out a towel, clearly working to get her things ready so that she might get dressed for her match.
Kaia Grainger: “As for what comes after tonight, at Festivus for the rest of us I know one of my opponents will get to choose the stipulation for our triple threat contest. Brianna-Leigh Clark has proven herself to be a notable contender. She’s wrestled with her heart and pure integrity each and every time she’s stepped into the ring. As for Lizzie Jones, despite what many may think I believe about her, the truth is I can’t do anything more than respect what she’s accomplished. Its hard to furrow your brow and accept when someone uses certain measures to aid in their advantage, but at the end of the day like the contracts state. . . you know what you were getting into when you signed on the dotted line. Nevertheless, whatever stipulation either of them may choose. I’ve got one of my own.”
She turns now and lifts the belt up, patting it nicely.
Kaia Grainger: “Keeping my name right here.”
With that she slams the locker shut and gently places her belt back into the bag which is obviously being used as her carrying case, before she moves out of the scene.

MAIN EVENT: CHAMPION VS CHAMPION
Helena Noir vs Kaia Grainger
Helena Noir vs Kaia Grainger
RECAP This match starts off with the two champions charging each other and locking up. Eventually Kaia gets the edge as she puts Helena in a headlock. Helena is able to counter and it brings both of them to the canvas. Helena gets to her feet quickly but Kaia isn’t far behind, and when Helena throws a haymaker of a clothesline Kaia dodges and leaps onto Helena’s back, locking in a body scissor while bending her arm back into a hammerlock! She locks in the move in the middle of the ring and Helena is in agony! Kaia wrenches the hold on tight, but Noir is digging deep and hanging in there, not willing to tap even though her arm is twisted into a profane angle. Helena steps toward the ropes, and again, and finally takes a third tumbling step toward the ropes, falling into them and forcing a break. Kaia immediately releases the hold and steps back when the referee tells her to. Once Helena gets back to her feet though, Kaia bounces the ropes and comes leaping at her with a knee strike... but Helena has it scouted and side steps, sending Kaia crashing to the mat. A dazed Kaia sits up right into a shining wizard from Helena, who then quickly gathers Kaia up and flings her to the ropes, dropping her again with a sling blade! Helena in full control thanks to her ring experience, grabs Kaia again and sets her up, holding her head as she rushes to the corner... Stay Gold! The sliced bread variant lands clean and Kaia is hooked for a pin... one... two... Kaia cradles into a reversal! Another two count before Helena reverses her leverage once more into a jackknife pin, which Kaia pops out of at one to schoolgirl Helena once more! Helena rolls through at two, and the crowd applauds for the technical exchange as both women get to their feet. Kaia then stuns Helena with a kick to the midsection and sets her up for a DDT! Thinking quickly though, Helena drops to her knees, freeing herself, and then lunges upward, catching Kaia right under the chin with a headbutt! Helena goes for her big finish but Kaia counters and hits her with Star Shine after springboard off the ropes! Kaia goes for the pin but no! Helena somehow kicks out before the three count. Kaia decides to hit the top ropes, going for one of her big finishes but when she leaps off, Helena rolls out of the way and Kaia manages to roll on the canvas to avoid big damage. But when she gets up, Helena hits her with a boot to the head. Helena then grabs her and nails Kaia with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke). Scotty Latimer now charges down the ramp and he gets up on the apron. Helena charges and she knocks him down with a forearm smash. Helena turns around and Kaia is back up and she hits Helena with Astronomical- Corkscrew Diving Stunner (from the ropes). Helena is down and out and Kaia pins her and gets the three count and the upset win!!! The US Champion has beaten the Liberty Champion! The bell rings and Kaia is announced the winner. Scotty Latimer is in the ring and he clotheslines Kaia. He turns his attention to Helena and screams at her, telling her he wants her one on one for the Liberty Championship. Scotty then tries for a Final Wave but Helena catches him with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke)!!! She holds Scotty in the submission and he taps out. Helena then lets go and she throws him out of the ring. She then grabs a mic and begins to speak. Helena Noir: I’m tired of the games, Scotty. Festivus For The Rest of Us? You and I are fighting one on one for the Liberty Championship and when I beat you? You have nothing to bitch about anymore. You got that? Good! Helena drops the mic before looking over at Kaia, who has now recovered, and giving the US Champion a nod of respect. The show ends with Helena Noir and Kaia Grainger standing side by side as the show fades out. WINNER Kaia Grainger METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 22:42 FINISHING MOVE Astronomical |
