Donovan Rich vs Kasey Kash
Donovan Rich earns contract with win, unless he already does so on Liberation
RECAP Donovan Rich was fighting for the livelihood of his family. He seemed like a man on a mission and he controlled the early parts of this match, using his power to keep Kasey down. Suplexes, DDT’s, powerslams; you can name it all and Donovan used them against Kash but Kash wasn’t giving up quite yet. Donovan went for the big finish, going for his For The Love Of Dontae! (Powerbomb Facebuster) but Rich was gassed from the burst of energy he used to start and control the match and his miscalculation cost him! Kasey Kash would soon take over the match and Rich could never recover, as Kash used his endurance and athleticism to run circles around the big man. Kasey began to apologize to Donovan, saying he felt bad for his kid but he had to do what he had to do, which was win. Kasey soon went for his patented Aussie Knee Party (Shining Wizard) but Donovan Rich, in sheer desperation, hit the charged Kash with a low blow with his arm! Kasey yelped in pain and the referee called for the bell. A frustrated Donovan Rich grabbed Kasey and dropped him with For The Love of Dontae! This time! Rich left the ring and slapped the apron in frustration, knowing he just missed an opportunity. WINNER Kasey Kash METHOD DQ MATCH LENGTH 6:12 FINISHING MOVE Lowblow |
BACKSTAGE
Off in some nondescript area of the Matthews Arena is sat Jordan Parker, the former Liberty color commentator. Now Jordan is trying to continue his wrestling career, despite retiring due to injuries. The twenty-one-year-old sits on a production box with the Liberty and Freedom logos on it. Dressed in his ring gear and an old t-shirt that was sold before his injury. Red with a spider logo and the words #Kinghotboi across the front.
JPK: Nine hundred and thirty-two.
The former MMA star lifts his head, looking at the camera.
JPK: Nine hundred and thirty-two days, have been stolen from my career, thanks to events beyond my control. At two different times, I've been told I can't wrestle anymore.
He pauses for a moment.
JPK: Yet, here I am.
Jordan shoves himself off the box and to his feet.
JPK: Here I stand, ready to go back to the ring once more, and do the only thing I want to do. I have scrapped and clawed my way back when everyone told me to stay down, my own family. They told me to give up the dream. Be happy with the run you had…
Jordan pauses, a small smirk creeps across his face.
JPK: What a run it was.
He looks up into the distance as he allows himself to briefly remember the glorious moments.
JPK: In a few very short years, I managed to accomplish more than most due in a lifetime. It should be enough. I should be able to happily ride off into the sunset and enjoy the rewards of my work… That's solid advice for most, but for me… I'm not finished yet. I want more. Call me greedy if you must, but I need more.
He moves toward a wall next to the box he was sitting on.
JPK: A few weeks ago I stood in the ring with my biological mother and choked her out with no remorse. If I did that to her, what's that say about what I am willing to do against Julio Banks?
Expressionless, Jordan offers a small shrug.
JPK: Julio, seems like a nice enough guy. Nice following, was the big star in the high school gyms and bingo halls. However, we're on a larger scale, and I can guarantee you that he:s never faced someone who has been under the brightest of lights like I have. He's never faced someone who can do the things I've done and can still do in that ring. Few in Liberty have. It's going to take more than self-confidence and a plucky attitude to beat me. It's going to take something that quite frankly, I'm not sure Julio has.
He offers another small shrug.
JPK: Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Jordan pushes off the wall and goes to walk away, but suddenly stops. He says nothing, but looks down with his eyes closed. They shoot open and he slowly lifts his head, taking a deep breath. He savor's it almost like a prisoner taking a first sweet breath of freedom after being released from jail. He looks to his left at the camera, with a slight growl he glares.
JPK: To Mr, Liam Callaghan… I tell you this one time to stay away.
There is a small head shake from Jordan and just walks away without another word.

TJ Techniques is shown storm through the halls of the backstage area. Various backstage personnel try to talk to him. But he isn't in the mood to talk to them. He isn't in the mood to talk to anyone, especially after what just happened in the ring. The cameraman can barely keep up with Techniques as the wrestler hasn't slowed down since bursting through the curtain moments earlier. Finally, the cameraman is able to catch up with Techniques as the wrestler slows down to pull open the door to one of the locker rooms backstage. The cameraman follows TJ through the door and witnesses him take a chair and yeet it across the room. The chair clangs off a nearby locker upon impact. Techniques heads over to a nearby table and slams his hands down across it before knocking all the contents off in one swiping motion. The table is soon turned upside down, becoming the latest object in the room to get caught in TJ's path of rage. TJ continues has he heads over and chucks his gym bag across the room before punching the locker. He quickly realizes that that was a bad idea seconds later. The wrestler plops down in a nearby seat before caressing his now aching hand. TJ stares down at the floor. He shakes his head over a variety of reasons before suddenly looking up and across the room. He notices the cameraman and presumes correctly that his fit of rage has been caught in camera. "...what?!" he sternly asks as he stares daggers across the room.
Camera: I... I uh... I was wondering if I could get some comments from you.
TJ tilts his head to the side at the audacity of the question being asked.
TJ Techniques: Comments? Comments about what, man?
Cameraman: I was thinking maybe you could talk about what happened out there.
TJ widens his eyes. A small "oh..." escapes his lips.
TJ Techniques: What happened out there? What happened was exactly what Ma-
TJ stops himself from identifying Max Cerrano by name. He restarts.
TJ Techniques: What happened out there is exactly what the current Gotham Title holder said was going to happen. For the last three months, I've had to watch wrestler after wrestler being given a shot at the Gotham Championship before me. I won my match. I earned my number one contendership. Yet I had to sit and wait my turn while others got their shots before me. Why? Because he said so. For three months I had to sit here and listen to him devalue me by calling me a mutt. I had to sit here for months, man, MONTHS and listen to how I didn't deserve a championship match. I had to listen to him tell people that I didn't deserve to be in the same ring as him. For months, he told the world that I was trash. So what happened when I finally got my chance at him? What happened when I finally got the title shot that I earned months ago? I lost. I lost to him. I lost to him and he? Tuh, he was proven right. If a man tells you for months on end that you're not good enough and you end up losing to that man, then what does that make you, hmm? What does that make you? It makes you everything he said you were.
TJ looks away and shakes his head in disgust. But not disgust over Max. He's disgusted with himself for not making things right and beating him.
Cameraman: You can't think like that, TJ. He didn't even beat you fairly. Donovan Rich is the one that knocked you out with the Gotham Championship. You never tapped out to Kill Your Masters. You passed out. That has to count for something, right?
Tj lets out a bitter chuckle.
TJ Techniques: What is this, huh? This supposed to be some kind of pep talk? You come chasing me down to try and cheer me up? Hmm? I didn't submit, I passed out, is that what I heard? Let me ask you something. Do you see any championship around my waist?
Cameraman: No.
TJ Techniques: Do you see any championship across my shoulder.
Cameraman: No.
TJ Techniques: Do you see any championship anywhere in this locker room?

TJ Techniques: So why the fuck should I care if I tapped out of not?! It didn't matter if I tapped out, passed out or someone threw in the towel for me, the fact is that that bitchmade Max Cerrano is the one walking around still the Gotham Champion! Being cheated out of that title doesn't make me feel better! Knowing that I lost that match because of outside interference does nothing for me! You heard me? NOTHING! When you look in the history books in time and you look up this event, it's gonna show Cerrano was the winer, me as the loser, and a Submission being his method of victory. That's it. That's all! I don't take no moral victories from tonight! I don't have no championship around my waist! I don't have my name in no Title History as a champion! What I have is three months of being called gutter trash and nothing to refute it! What I have is being looked down upon as some lower life form and having nothing to refute it!
Cameraman: I'm sorry, TJ.
TJ Techniques: I didn't ask if you were sorry.

The cameraman quickly catches himself again.
Cameraman: Is there anything else you would like to say.
TJ Techniques: The only thing I want right now is to be left alone. That's all I want. So just go. Go on and get your interview with your champions. Go on and get your interview with the people that actually won something tonight. Just leave me here with the rest of the losers, aight?
The cameraman lets out a sight. But he doesn't push the issue further. He turns to leave the room before turning back to the wrestler.
Cameraman: Sorry to bother you. I'll leave you to it. I know you said it doesn't mean anything. But you're far from a loser, TJ. Remember that. Happy Holidays...
With that, the camera slowly backs away, leaving TJ to bury his face in his hands...

MATCH TWO: SINGLES
Julio Banks vs Jordan Parker-Kane
Julio Banks vs Jordan Parker-Kane
RECAP Julio Banks versus JPK was a match of athleticism and skill. The two went back and forth but Julio Banks soon gained an edge with a plethora of cheap shots. A thumb to the eye here, closed fist punches here… Anything that the referee would let Banks get away with. Jordan Parker was clearly getting frustrated with it and Julio made him pay when he nailed him with Bank On It (Kryptonite Krunch)! Banks pinned Kane but Jordan got his foot up on the ropes. Banks was clearly upset and he began to argue with the referee. JPK stirred and he dropkicked Banks from behind, knocking out the referee. Julio turned around and he slapped Jordan in the face, calling him an idiot. He taunted JPK and eventually, Jordan had enough and he kicked Julio right in the Banks, or as most say, the balls! Julio grabbed onto his family jewels in pain and Jordan Jordan charged in and hit Julio with Bomaye (Running knee to the head of the kneeling opponent). Jordan then pinned Julio and the referee began to stir. He started the count and it got to three and JPK picked up the win. BACKSTAGE
The King of New York champion, now made official by Liam Callaghan and defending said title in what would be considered his second defense stands in front of the camera. One arm carries the championship on the shoulder as one might as expect. The other arm? Off-camera, extended to the right. Sparrow peers over his sunglasses, before raising his visible hand up to push the sunglasses up the bridge of his nose.
Sparrow: Y’know, I kinda been thinkin’ how Tamsin welcomed any and all challengers for she championship and couldn’t find hide no hair up until CVO put her name in it. All things considered, might be that ain’t no one want that heat on the Liberty brand. This ain’t takin’ away from no one but when your name has notoriety, suddenly ain’t hardly anyone want a piece of you. Me personally I might have taken that crack if I was on the other brand but I got this hangin’ for now. Might be that a lot of folks on Freedom want that heat but the brand split changes things...Just shows who might step up and who won’t when the time comes.
Sparrow says the quiet part about the Liberty brand obviously. Saying it but not actually saying it.
Sparrow: Up until Tamsin makes good on she threat to just start combinin’ titles she won’t see me anyway.
Pause for thought.
Sparrow: ...Does she fight ROTTEN in a handicap match? What happens if they win? I suppose sharin’ the spoils of victory equally would be the wheelhouse? Too much yes, much too much to think about. Not why I’m here anyway. I’m here because tonight, Brady Vega, public enemy number one of style and all things Old Navy microfleece?
A lower-third immediately appears that reads very quaintly, ‘MIGHTY SPARROW IS SPONSORED BY OLD NAVY’. The text is there and then gone in less than five seconds, raising the question if the statement was true in the first place.
Sparrow: He comin’ for my title. He comin’ for that heat and tryna be the King of New York. After him? It’s Jordan next. Man ain’t bummy you know. His track suit costs more than my whole wardrobe probably. The drip is too much. He want the title. Bring Your Own Weapons and all kinda thing. It might be a box of bongs, he comin’ with. Effective. Me? I decided to take things a bit classic for this BYOW.
The camera slowly zooms out to show that the entire time, the King of New York champion has been fluidly swinging around a pair of nunchaku with one hand. You know the deal, swinging one end and catching it with the same hand between the finger and thumb on repeat.
Sparrow: Now if y’all excuse me I got a title to defend before I watch m’partner Techniques become Freedom champion.

BACKSTAGE
Cut to backstage and we find Lizzie Jones pacing the room while on her phone.
Lizzie: “No. I said no. Shut up and calm down, breathe.”
She gives a loud, very audible sigh.
Lizzie: “I told you, I won’t be long and then I’ll be right back.I have to...listen! I have to go. What? No, I’m on TV. Oh my god, okay, I’m going.”
Ending the call, Liz turns to the camera as if none of that happened.
Lizzie: “That’s fine, just sneak into a girl’s locker. Not like I could have been getting changed or something, is it?”
She shakes her head and places her phone into her bag.
Lizzie: “Well, you little perve, the least you can do is stand real still while I say a few words now.”
The camera wobbles a little, like a nod.
Lizzie: “Okay, good. So, the Freedom Championship, a big old six way. It’s a guaranteed mess, isn’t it? It’s a cluster waiting to happen, with...well, a couple of very capable people involved and some people that I will kindly call filler content.”
Liz moves around the room quickly, making the camera track her, as she grabs a notepad from the table.
Lizzie: “Lets see. Alex Reeves...yeah, cool chick, not as scary as her sister. TJ Techniques...fuck, man, that name alone makes me wanna laugh. Sorry bud. Yang? She’s got a little fire in her again but she ought to be Jennifer Yo-yo cause she bounces in and out of relevance so much.”
A little smirk shows.
Lizzie: “Kaia? Proven champ, lucky though. Already has a title to worry over, she barely even kept that one as it is. Helena? She picked the slack up here after Balfour and Reeves senior left, but let’s be honest? She stays in the shadow of both when it comes to renown - and we all know I don’t even like Becky, but facts are facts son.”
She places the notepad down again.
Lizzie: “Guess that leaves me, huh? So why exactly do I deserve this title? Easy that, easy answer. I fought all the way back to be here again, I went through a hell none of these others can begin to dream of. I did it, though, and it shows just how strong I am. To lace the boots again and to step back into the ring, I have a strength above the norm. I bring that strength with me tonight, digging deep to make the impact I deserve to have. The impact I’ve earned. I’m better than just an also ran. I had time taken from me and I fully intend to make up for it with titles and big wins, success that can only solidify my reputation as it grows further still.”
She’s a bit ranty by now, but stops to take a moment.
Lizzie: “Everyone has their own reasons, but not everyone has the strength to make ambitions into reality. I do. But if that fails, I also have the balls to do whatever is necessary to come out the winner. I know nobody will be there to help me, I know it’s all down to me and I will do absolutely anything that I need to do to walk out with that Freedom Championship.”
Finally she calms again and finds her smile.
Lizzie: “Let’s see what happens, eh?”
She grabs her towel and drapes it over the camera, darkening it. The last sound that can be heard is the camera guy grunting and a door slamming...

She grabs her towel and drapes it over the camera, darkening it. The last sound that can be heard is the camera guy grunting and a door slamming...

KING OF NEW YORK CHAMPIONSHIP
Mighty Sparrow vs Brady Vega
RECAP The bell rings and both opponents bring their own weapons to the ring. It doesn’t take long for Brady Vega to get going as he immediately goes after Mighty going absolutely crazy on him early on. Sparrow tries to use his puroresu ability to fight back but Vega is relentless with his assault knocking him down also connecting with a low blow catching Sparrow enough to force him to the outside. Yet Vega gives him no time as he dives through the ropes taking him out with a plancha. Brady ran towards the table to grab the KONY Championship but before he could hit him, Sparrow delivered a stiff straight sidekick knocking Brady down. He gives him a glare as he starts throwing weapons into the ring then Brady herself. Back in the ring both competitors exchanged momentum. As for the last few minutes Vega had been in control using a kendo stick to split Mighty’s wide open. Vega delivers a stiff shot to his head and covers him but at the last second Mighty kicks out! Vega continues the assault on Sparrow however the tide turns as Brady goes for the mountain splitter but Sparrow counters with a trash can lid to Brady’s face. Vega screams out in pain from the impact on his face. Sparrow keeps control as it was now his turn to deal kendo stick punishment on Vega. He wears him out with it also opening Vega’s back up as his was. He grabs a chair and throws it down. SParrow locks in a ddt and drives Brady’s head into the chair. Sparrow hesitates before covering him but Brady kicked out at two!! Later Sparrow is looking to end Brady going for the standing double curb stomp. He misses as Brady nails him straight in the jewels with the low blow again! Both competitors collapse down as both are out of it. Sparrow crawls to the apron and grabs the KONY Championship. Vega pulls him back in the center of the ring and tries locking in an ankle lock but he doesn’t see Sparrow holding the belt. Mighty Sparrow nails Brady in the knee knocking him down as he gets up on his knees and blasts him in the face with the title. Blood flies from Brady’s forehead from the shot as Mighty falls on top for the cover and the three count. BACKSTAGE
Here we see Brianna Leigh Clark getting herself amped up for her upcoming match backstage, doing a few stretches and rolling her shoulders a bit to make sure that they don’t get tense probably. As she’s shaking her hands out up comes one Dante Chapel, microphone in hand with a camera in tow, and she stops to smack her hands together, a delighted grin on her lips.
Brianna Clark: Well hey Dante, what’s up?
For just a moment there’s a little smirk on Dante as he struggles not to laugh at her bright greeting, and he swings the microphone up and goes ‘professional’.
Dante Chapel: Going to ask you a few questions if you don’t mind Brianna of course - tell the fans how you feel about being on the first new episode of Freedom, and your match against Chase Hunter, which is being billed as a Hoss Match?
Brianna seems quite excited by this even though it’s not exactly news to her and she winks at the camera before answering Dante’s questions.
Brianna Clark: How do I feel about these things? Well clearly this is a step in the right direction somehow, someway! We have a real chance to boost up the Freedom brand here tonight with everything we do. Liberation is all good, but I think we can really show out, and prove this is the brand to be on. As far as Chase Hunter? Well he’s a big ol’ dude and that’s great! It’s not a secret that I am covetous of the Lady Hoss name and what better way to prove I am one, than fighting other hoss-like wrestlers? Hmm? I mean looking at it that way, it seems just about perfect.
Dante Chapel: Does this enthusiasm for the Freedom brand mean that you’ve given up your pursuit of Kaia Grainger’s US Championship?
Brianna laughs a sharp bark of a sound before she shakes her head.
Brianna Clark: No, not at all! Kaia is an amazing champion, and I stand by what I’ve said about her before. She’s the one to beat, and when the time comes, the person that does win that title from her is going to have to work double time to make their own mark. I want that challenge, and I know that the Liberty fans are going to love seeing me work towards it. But! That’s for the future, and tonight I’ve got a big mountain to climb so I better get to it. Thanks for your time Dante!
She claps him on the shoulder and heads out, leaving him with a wave.
Dante Chapel: There you have it, Brianna Leigh Clark looking to the future and well, I can’t blame her. She may have had a bit of a rocky path to Freedom, but you can’t help but see how much heart she has.
With a nod, he sends the camera off elsewhere.

The cameras cut backstage, where they catch Alex Reeves preparing for her match. Already dressed fully in ring attire she seems to be warming up her muscles, whilst keeping one eye on the monitor that shows the action going on in the ring for those backstage.
ALEX “ I know I’ve been pretty quiet about this match on Twitter, that’s because preparation is key. Unlike some of the other people in this match I don’t disappear any time I’m challenged, let’s not forget the likes of Jenny yang who without fail, like to disappear off the face of the fucking Earth as soon as anything good happens for them. Then again they were trained by, and are now sleeping with, Chris night all people who let’s be honest doesn’t have any idea how to consistently be there for the people that need him the most.”
Alex scuffs at the camera and rolls her eyes before dropping her hands to her hips, she then gives the camera her full attention ready to talk about her match.
ALEX “ as I said before the person I respect most in this match is Liz, that’s not because she’s my sisters friend or because I’m a fan. It’s because like me she worked her arse off for everything that she gets, she doesn’t accept or expect handouts and she sure as fuck doesn’t rely on other people to get things done. Jade can’t be here right now, that’s something I’ll be taking care of tomorrow, but rest assured I want to make sure that by the time she’s back this brand of been represented by someone that not only represent her, but also cares about her well-being.“
Alex leans into the camera and narrows her eyes just a little.
ALEX “So watch your backs, because if something happens tonight and I don’t walk out as champion rest assured I won’t stop until that Belt is around my waist. I’m not here to play nice and be super miss positive, I’m not fake I don’t do that shit and I’m here to be the best. Sometimes being the best means getting rid of those who don’t deserve to be here. Don’t for a second think I wasn’t paying attention to who had jades back and who didn’t, if you fall into the latter? Then you better watch your back…”
And with that Alex whipped around and walks away down the whole continuing preparation for her match.

MATCH FOUR: HOSS MATCH
Chase Hunter vs Brianna Leigh Clark
Chase Hunter vs Brianna Leigh Clark
RECAP At the sound of the bell Brianna hits Chase with a rapid amount of kicks while keeping her space. A series of quick, swift kicks to Hunter knee starts to slow down the big man slightly but seems to enrage him more so. Leigh Clark then makes the mistake of lingering too close to Hunter who rocks Brianna’s jaw with a huge big boot. Chase keeps on the pressure by steamrolling Leigh Clark in the corner with a huge clothesline. Hunter then tosses Leigh Clark from the ring. Hunter jaws with the official for a moment before sliding out of the ring after Brianna Leigh Clark, who is slowly getting to her feet. Hunter goes for a body avalanche but Leigh Clark moves and pushes Hunter into the ring post. Brianna doesn't lose a step as she whips Hunter into the guardrail. Leigh Clark takes a moment to try to hype up the fans but gets speared into the ring apron by Hunter who only seems to be more angry after Leigh Clark attacked him. Chase rolls in to break the officials count. Once back outside the ring, Hunter throws Leigh Clark against the guardrail, leaving her in a clumped pile. Chase pulls Brianna to her feet only to chokeslam her on the thin mats outside of the ring. A grin comes to Hunter's face as he now drags BLC back into the ring and makes a quick cover that only gets a two count. Hunter lifts Leigh Clark up and drives her down with a tilt-a-whirl slam that leaves Brianna holding her back in pain. Hunter quickly follows up with three hard elbow drops across Bri’s chest. Hunter pulls Leigh Clark to her feet and lines him up for a high impact clothesline but Brianna is able to move at the last moment. She charges at Hunter and connects with her Incoming! (Shotgun Double Knee)!!! She goes for the pin and gets the three count! WINNER Brianna Leigh Clark METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 11:45 FINISHING MOVE Brianna Leigh Clark |
RECORDED EARLIER
Freedom…
Opening up inside the empty arena hours prior to the show, we found the former Liberty champion Helena Noir standing in the middle of the ring.
Helena Noir: I’ve been awfully quiet since losing my title at Festivus, I didn’t really say much about the draft, or about the tiring games Callaghan senior tried to play, or how it all came back and bit him in the ass…
That last part brought a smile on the woman’s face.
Helena Noir: The truth is, I’ve had my foot out of the door for a while. Even after finding out that I was chosen for the right brand, I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to accept the offer.
A pause.
Helena Noir: Retirement has been a constant thought in the back of my mind for awhile now, that’s no secret. I feel like I’ve done everything I could, that I’ve given this industry everything I had and got back everything I could ask for.. So why am I still here today?
A slight shrug of her shoulders followed her words.
Helena Noir: I realized that I was not ready to hang my boots just yet. That losing my title like that was not how I wanted to be remembered. That I still had something to give, even if it’s just passing the little knowledge and experience I have to some up and comer. That this company, these fans gave me so much and I couldn’t just walk away like that. And Freedom was exactly the fresh start I needed.
Her eyes scanned her surroundings, the empty seats that in a few hours will be filled with cheering fans, the commentary table, the entrance stage, now dark but soon to be lit with colorful neons, pyros and smoke.
Helena Noir: One day, I’ll be missing all this. But today is not that day.
A somewhat bitter smile appears on her lips.
Helena Noir: Tonight I’ll step inside an elimination chamber with five incredible talents. Former champions, young and talented competitors, all of them inside one of the most punishing structures this business has ever seen. Five hungry competitors and the former Liberty champion who’s already over the hill, who by her own admission only has a limited number of rounds left in the mag fighting for the Freedom championship.
Despite what she said until now, there’s a look of determination in her eyes. She might have considered retiring, but that was yesterday. Now she’s as focused and ready as ever.
Helena Noir: Make no mistakes though. I’m entering this match with the intention of being the last one standing. I have the chance to make history, to become the first one to hold the top prize on both brands. And I’ll be damned if I let this slip through my fingers.
The camera zoomed in on the former champion’s face.
Helena Noir: Freedom might realistically be my last company, the final chapter in my career, my swan song. But I intend to make it one of those songs that people will be singing and remembering for years to come.
Fade to black.

ROTTEN vs Joss Morant & Dex Morant
RECAP Micaela and Rory made their way to the ring on their own, as OTK had to prepare for his match that came after this one. While on their way down to the ring with the Tag Team Championships on their shoulders, Girls of Summer, who are signed to the Liberation brand, came out of nowhere and slammed Micaela and Rory with chairs! They brutally beat the two down, showing their aggressive side and getting a measure of payback against the ones who cost them their tag team championships. Micaela and Rory were out cold when Nami and Coral grabbed the Tag Team Championships and lifted them in the air, telling the two ROTTEN members to keep them clean for them. Flipping backstage we see a giant banner along the wall featuring the Logo of Liberty Pro’s Freedom. Next to it stands the current United States Champion Kaia Grainger who stares at the decorative logo almost mesmerized with a smile on her features before she turns to the camera, those dark brown eyes of hers looming in their gaze.
Kaia Grainger: “Hello Boston! Its nice to be here, lets just say I know of a nice prize or two that heralds from your city.”
A wink was given, obviously referring to her boyfriend, a Boston Native in his own right, before she winks to the camera and continues speaking.
Kaia Grainger: “So it's fitting that I find myself here on Freedom, Live from the Matthews Arena, Getting my shot at yet another glorious prize. The Freedom Championship itself. The logo behind me expresses a sort of patriotic theme, wouldn’t you agree?”
She gestured to the logo, highlighting the multicolored replica of the US flag, along with Lady Liberty overlooking the entirety of the logo. It brought an even bigger smile to her face.
Kaia Grainger: “And who has proven themselves more patriotic to Liberty than me? I’ve held the United States Championship for quite some time and believe me I certainly don’t aim to let it go anytime soon, but when offered a match as challenging and rewarding as the Elimination Chamber can be. How can a girl say no?”
She pauses again, growing more serious now.
Kaia Grainger: “My goal since coming to Liberty was to face the best competition, and show why I am one of the biggest rising stars in the industry. I bided my time, trained hard, and worked to gain stride in every step of the way and luckily for me I’ve managed to capture this title that sits respectfully on my shoulder in the process. To think that worrying about holding this one belt is enough to dissuade me from going for another just seems Silly though, doesn’t it Lizzy?”
Kaia gave a small laugh.
Kaia Grainger: “It's easy to forget that I did much the same when the Anarchy title during its 24-hour period was on the line, still holding the championship I hold now. I will never say no to a title opportunity and I will never say not to a chance to advance my career further and bring the light to Liberty Pro, besides lets not forget that I remember all too well the message you so poignantly tried to send after our last match together, you seem to want any title you might be able to latch on to, and I want the same.
In terms of Helena Noir, I’ve faced her once before, but the circumstances of that win of mine certainly don’t ease the ideology that anything can happen int his match and with that in mind. I wish Helena the best of luck, because I know what she’s capable of. Losing her Liberty Championship the way she did kind of pays homage to why she’s deserving of this shot, what she stands for is the Liberty Brand in its entirety and I respect that.
Alex Reeves, I have nothing but respect for. I’ve faced her sister of course once upon a time, but that’s like comparing one brand of water to a completely different brand of Apple Juice. People shouldn’t be naive enough to compare one sibling to another other than to know that what these ladies are made of is tough stuff! I respect Alex as well, can’t really fault many of the strides she’s made since her arrival in Liberty and like a true boss, she gave respect where it was due when some of her friends wouldn’t recognize me as a talent to be on the lookout for. I see you, boo and I recognize you too.”
She offered another wink before she let that smile appear back on her face.
Kaia Grainger: “Then of course, we have Jennifer Yang, I know of her from her time in GEW, and well I can say she was a champion for a reason. I think she’s definitely looking to make a statement, bringing her first match in the company for the Freedom Brand’s Top Prize. You must admit there’s a lot at stake for her there though, but I don’t count anybody out. Then we have TJ Techniques, and damn if that name doesn’t fit him. Technique for days and someone who can use virtually any area of the arena floor as a launch pad to aid in his arsenal. You have to respect someone like that who can go above and beyond seemingly definable limits to put on a hell of a show. TJ may have not been the most lucky so far in terms of defeating the likes of Max Cerrano in his efforts to capture the Gotham Championship, but . . . I know he has mad talent and with that it means. . . he can easily take this one.
So it all boils down to who wants it the most, who has luck fairing them best, and just who can actually take home the prize of Freedom Champion? Personally, I’m going to do my best to make sure it is me. Kaia Two Belts certainly has a nice ring.”
A slight laugh was given before she saunters off towards the left, leaving the camera to focus directly on the Freedom logo.

BACKSTAGE
Backstage, Jennifer Yang is warming up for her big match. The main event, no less. When she spots the camera, she grins before waving it over closer. She stands tall, her posture straight and demeanor confident.
Jennifer Yang: Hello, Boston! I am so excited to be here tonight! First of all, excited to represent the Freedom brand at Liberty Pro and second, to give everything I’ve got in the main event for the Freedom championship!
She looks at the camera square in the eye of the lens, a little more serious now.
Jennifer Yang: Freedom, it’s such a great word, isn’t it? If you ask, the word ‘freedom’ means being able to express myself in the best way I can. It means being able to achieve success as a reward for working so hard to hone my skills. And to be able to do anything I want and dream of without fearing being told no by those afraid of other people’s light. Freedom is about uplifting one another so that we can all fulfill our dreams. Make this world a better place. Inspire.
A smile lifts the corner of her lips.
Jennifer Yang: I’m honored to be part of this match with the likes of Helena Noir who’s done so much in Liberty and the entire industry. And Lizzie Jones and TJ Techniques who have earned their place in the industry too. And then there’s Kaia Grainger and Alex Reeves who are looking to make their mark. It’s a little intimidating to be in the middle of such a bunch, but to be honest, I’m feeling great and confident about tonight. I’m keeping a clear mind and it’s only set on one thing: winning the Freedom championship. I may not be the fastest, the strongest or the most talented wrestler. But I know that I can represent this company and brand well as its champion.
She pauses, taking her time to deliver her message. To be heard.
Jennifer Yang: I work hard not just to be the best in the ring, but also to be the best personality overall. It’s okay to have weaknesses. It’s okay to lose sometimes. The important thing is to get back up every time. If I can inspire one person to be the best version of himself or herself, then I’ve done my part.
She flashes a warm smile before the scene cuts away.

OTK vs Jacob Daniels
OTK vs Jacob Daniels
RECAP OTK and Jacob come face to face in the middle of the ring. OTK pushes Jacob back away from him, and he then follows up with a big right hook to the face of Jacob. He staggers back for a moment before turning back to OTK and Jacob flashes a quick smile as they reset and they come back at each other and lock up. They go back and forth trying to get the advantage in the positioning, with OTK finally pushing Jacob back into the corner. OTK has his hands in Jacobs face and the referee steps in to try and separate the two of them. OTK lets go of Jacob and backs away without any further incident. OTK has his hands up in a defensive manner as he backs up into the center of the ring. Jacob comes out of the corner and is able to twist OTK's arm with an arm wrench. He then takes her back and it turns it into a hammerlock. OTK throws a back elbow and then manages to hook Jacob around the head before throwing him over with a headlock takedown. OTK keeps hold of Jacobs head and has him under her control in the middle of the ring. Jacob starts working his way up to his feet but OTK maintains the side headlock. JD tries to push him off but he still doesn't let go. Jacob then counters by lifting OTK up and dropping her back with a back suplex. OTK is finally forced to let go of Jacob as they both start to get up. Jacob starts blasting away at OTK’s midsection with a series of kicks to both sides. He then spins around and catches him with a spinning back kick to the stomach and comes back around with a lifting knee to the face. OTK falls back against the ropes and then bounces back towards Jacob. He lifts him up onto his shoulders and then drops him down with a Samoan drop. He covers OTK and goes for the pin. OTK easily kicks out at two OTK rolls out of the ring and looks up at Daniels with a widening smile. He walks over to the ring announcer and snatches the microphone out of his hand then strides round the ring towards the stage. The fans realise what this means and begin booing the ROTTEN leader vociferously. He looks around the arena from the ramp and shrugs nonchalantly. OTK: Hey, what's the matter, people? It's called Freedom, right? F-R-E-E-D-O-M. I'm exercising it right now. I don't have to risk my body for your entertainment or Liberty profits, so when I do - even for a few minutes - you should be grateful. I wouldn't turn up at your place of work and harass you for refusing to line the pockets of the ruling class, I would applaud you. He pauses, nodding for emphasis, but the boos keep coming. OTK: Look, I get it, you wanted to see some action but let's be honest, this guy isn't much of a muse, is he? He gestures towards Daniels, who is beckoning OTK to get back into the ring. OTK: Nah, I'm good. Congratulations, you're victorious. Don't you see how meaningless wins and losses are? This match means nothing. In the grand scheme of things, you are nothing. You fight and toil for some abstract validation but have no real impact on anything beyond narrow parameters. I'm always thinking bigger - much bigger. Maybe one day you'll see things like I do... He smiles up at his opponent, who snarls back. OTK: So ring the bell. You can chalk this one up as a dub, boy, I don't care. With another shrug, the ROTTEN leader waves his goodbye from the entrance ramp. Jacob turns to the referee who nods to confirm he is the winner by countout. The bell rings and Jacob's music starts to play but he doesn't look satisfied, shaking his head from side to side as OTK slips away through the curtain. The return of Freedom continues with TJ Techniques, one of the six participants vying for the Freedom Championship in tonight's main event. It's not just any match, but an Eliminator Chamber! TJ Techniques continues to lean against the wall as he keeps his arms folded across his chest. TJ doesn't appear to be the mess that we saw him during the aftermath of Festivus. Instead, he's got a smirk on his face. On cue, he gets off the wall and turns to address the camera.
Cameraman: TJ, you appear to be in a better mood since the last time we spoke. I take it you're feeling better?
TJ responds with a nod.
TJ Techniques: I'm feeling as good as I can given the world today. But I'm maintaining. I'm good. I've got a positive outlook. Why? It's because we've seen some changes here in Liberty Pro. Last time we spoke, we had a brand split, the return of Freedom and a New Year's Day draft. It's a new day, a new year, a new show and a new opportunity for the boy. You look at where I was at after the end of the Festivus show and you compare that to tonight. This is what we call a bounce back, people. But it ain't complete. We can't pop bottles just yet because we got a war to wage in that ring tonight. The Freedom Championship is on the line and I've got to go through five other wrestlers in an Elimination Chamber, of all matches.
TJ rubs the back of his neck before continuing.
TJ Techniques: Now I've never been in an Elimination Chamber. I can't say I've ever been in any time of cage match before, not to mention no chamber. So this is a whole new dynamic for me. But I'm ready. I'm ready to go in there and do what needs to be done, whether I'm the first two in the match or I'm the last one to be released from the pod. I'm going in there to start this year off right. I'm going in there to bring Freedom back with a bang. I'm going into that Elimination Chamber with the intention of making "Festivus" a distant memory by winning the Freedom Championship.
A beat.
TJ Techniques: You got a lot of heads in this match. You got a lot of talent. You got Jennifer Yang who, like me, was a victim of Max Cerrano in the recent past. You've got Kaia Granger, the reigning U.S. Champion. You know she wants nothing more than to leave tonight with a belt on both shoulders. Then you've got Helena Noir. You know, since he return of Liberty Pro, you've had a lot of names be talked about. You have people like Tamsin who deserves her props. You got people like Precious Pepper Vain who keeps her name out there with what she does in the ring, as well as on the fashion tip. But if you're talking about one person that's been the ace of Liberty since its return, it would have to be Helena Noir. She's the one that's been holding down that top spot during this third run. After what happened at Festivus, you know she wants to bounce back with a title win to start off the year.
TJ Techniques: Do I think that people in this match are taking me serious? Maybe. Maybe not. I know that Lizzie Jones laughed at the idea of me winning. I won't hold you, I felt I way when I saw that. But then I had to step back and wonder why. She's got no reason to take me serious. She just watched a man call me garbage for months on end, only for me to lose when I finally got a match with him. She and every else saw me come THIS close to winning the Gotham Championship tournament, only to fail. I mean shoot, what was the consensus of me being picked 8th in the Draft? What was it that ol boy said? I didn't belong in the ring with Max. Then what was it that homegirl said? It's only a mater of time until I break through? That's what Sasha Taylor said, right? Well, to quote a certain rock song from about 20 years ago, "It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime. What better place than here, what better time than now?" I think it's fitting that I'm on a show called Freedom because now that the draft is over, I've got my freedom. I've got my freedom from Max Cerrano. I've got my Freedom from the bullshit. It's a new day. It's a new start and I plan on kicking down that door and kicking this year off right. I'm not a former champion like Helena. I'm not going into this match with everything to gain and nothing to lose like Kaia. I'm not the odds on favorite. I'm not even a favorite. But I promise you, I will be a name that you remember. Y'all have been sleeping on me for a while. But it's all good. No really, it's all good. 'Cause tonight? Tonight is the night that y'all finally Peep The Technique - your NEW Freedom Champion.

Helena Noir vs Jennifer Yang vs Alex Reeves vs Lizzie Jones vs TJ Techniques vs Kaia Grainger
RECAP The first to participants of the Elimination Chamber are Lizzie Jones and former Liberty Champion, Helena Noir. The two women start to circle the ring to kick off their match, with Lizzie wanting to show the world that she belongs in the ring with the former Liberty Champion. Helena kicks off the match as she hits Lizzie with a plethora of strikes and kicks but eventually Lizzie catches Helena’s leg before dropping her with an exploder suplex. Lizzie went for the pin but Noir kicked out after the two count. Lizzie shows that she has Helena scouted throughout the match by countering several strikes and moves. Helena eventually caught Lizzie by surprise when she was taunting the fans and she took her down with a zig zag. Lizzie stumbled back to her feet and Noir took her out with a jumping roundhouse kick. Noir pins Lizzie but Lizzie kicks out after the two count. Helena picks Lizzie up but Lizzie hits her with a thumb to the eye, which is completely legal. Lizzie then hits a big brainbuster that puts Helena down and she tries for a pin, but to her surprise, Helena kicks out early into the count. Looking for a repeat, Lizzie lifts Noir right back up into another suplex position, but Helena floats over and rolls the massive Lizzie up for a two count. Helena starts to gain momentum as she hits Lizzie with a series of kicks and strikes before hitting the ropes and then taking Lizzie out with a slingblade. Lizzie begins to get to her feet as Helena hits a springboard moonsault that takes Lizzie down and allows Helena to keep control of the match. Keeping a competitor like Lizzie down isn't an easy task, and when Lizzie gets up to her knees, Helena takes her out with a hurricanrana driver. Helena pins Lizzie but Lizzie kicks out after two and then the countdown begins. 5 4 3 2 1!!! Next up is Kaia Grainger. She gets in and her and Helena are charging each other and locking up. Eventually Kaia gets the edge as she puts Helena in a headlock. Helena is able to counter and it brings both of them to the canvas. Helena gets to her feet quickly but Kaia isn’t far behind, and when Helena throws a haymaker of a clothesline Kaia dodges and leaps onto Helena’s back, locking in a body scissor while bending her arm back into a hammerlock! She locks in the move in the middle of the ring and Helena is in agony! Kaia wrenches the hold on tight, but Noir is digging deep and hanging in there, not willing to tap even though her arm is twisted into a profane angle. Helena steps toward the ropes, and again, and finally takes a third tumbling step toward the ropes, falling into them and forcing a break. Kaia immediately releases the hold and steps back when the referee tells her to. Once Helena gets back to her feet though, Kaia bounces the ropes and comes leaping at her with a knee strike... but Helena has it scouted and side steps, sending Kaia crashing to the mat. A dazed Kaia sits up right into a shining wizard from Helena, who then quickly gathers Kaia up and flings her to the ropes, dropping her again with a sling blade! Helena in full control thanks to her ring experience, grabs Kaia again and sets her up, holding her head as she rushes to the corner... Stay Gold! The sliced bread variant lands clean and Kaia is hooked for a pin... one... two… Kaia kicks out! Lizzie Jones is back up now and she takes Helena out with a diving clothesline from the top rope! 5 4 3 2 1!!! Here comes Alex Reeves and she is on fire! She takes Lizzie out with a flying dropkick. She then hits Kaia Grainger with a superkick and Helena Noir with a snap DDT. Everyone is down as Alex Reeves walks around the ring, talking trash. She then grabs Helena and throws her over the ropes. Reeves then grabs the former Liberty Champion and looks to prove a point as she shoves her right into the unforgiving steel of the elimination chamber. Alex picks Helena up and OH MY GOD! Kaia Grainger leaps off of one of the chambers and she takes out Reeves and Noir with a flying crossbody! Kaia slowly stirs first but Lizzie Jones has a hold of her now and Lizzie throws Kaia head first into one of the chamber’s glass, breaking it in the process and Kaia is now starting to bleed everywhere as this match has now gone to another level. Lizzie gets Kaia in the ring and looks to finish her off now when the countdown begins. 5 4 3 2 1!!! Out comes Jennifer Yang, former Millennium World Champion! Lizzie turns toward Yang and is pumped to take her on. As Yang gets in the ring, Kaia has stirred and she rolls Lizzie up and she gets the three count! ELIMINATED: LIZZIE JONES Lizzie Jones is eliminated! She can’t believe it and Kaia is exhausted and bloodied, trying to catch her breath. Lizzie, who isn’t as beaten down, takes out her frustration on Kaia and she picks her up and nails her with Botox Breaker (Unprettier). Lizzie Jones then walks out and mad dogs Jennifer Yang, who walks by her, watching her the entire time. Jennifer looks hesitant to make the pin but Alex Reeves quickly gets in the ring and she hooks the leg and gets the three count! Kaia Grainger is eliminated and it seems her feud with Lizzie Jones is FAR from over. ELIMINATED: KAIA GRAINGER Two have been eliminated and the kind hearted Yang can’t help but check on Kaia. Out of nowhere, Alex Reeves shoves Jennifer in her chest. Reeves tells Yang she doesn’t belong here and that she doesn’t deserve to be in this match. Yang shoves Reeves back and the two starts to brawl as the final countdown begins. 5 4 3 2 1!!! Out comes TJ Techniques and he is ready to roll! He climbs the top rope and he takes out Alex and Jenni with a double dropkick. But he misses Helena Noir, who’s now up and she takes him out with a snap DDT. She then picks him up and whips him into the corner before charging in and nailing a leaping clothesline, followed by a running bulldog. Noir goes for the pin but Techniques kicks out after two. Helena focuses on Jennifer Yang now, who is stirring and the two trade blows. Helena tries to go for her Fondu Au Noir but Yang spins out of it. She then hits Helena with #LOCKDOWN (Rapid Wing Chun punches/knee with theatrics till opponent doubles over + switchblade kick combo). Helena is now down but Jennifer can’t pin her as Techniques takes Yang out with a slingblade from out of nowhere! TJ pins Helena but Noir kicks out! He then pins Jenni and she kicks out too! He doesn’t see Alex Reeves, who comes out of nowhere and nails TJ with Sweet Dreams (Leaping Complete Shot!) Reeves looks ready to score her second elimination but Yang is back up and she surprises Alex Reeves with #BEHUMBLE (Wristlock springboard cutter). Jennifer pins Alex and gets the three count!!! ELIMINATED: ALEX REEVES This leaves us with three now as Jennifer Yang has eliminated the young Reeves. Jenni and Helena now battle out, the two veterans trading blows. Eventually, Helena gets the upperhand as as she hits Jenni with a snap suplex, followed by a leaping senton. TJ is up now though and he drop kicks Helena, which sends her over the ropes and to the outside. Yang hits TJ with her #YANGVICTORY (Victory roll from anywhere) but he kicks out just before three! The two get up and Jenni hits TJ with a dropkick and Helena then grabs him from the outside and DDT’s him through the ropes to the outside! Helena then gets back in the ring and Jenni tries for her #BEHUMBLE (Wristlock springboard cutter) but Helena Noir wiggles free. When Jenni turns, Noir slams her knee into her gut before hitting Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke)! Jenni struggles in the chokehold but she has nowhere to go! Helena pulls onto the hold even tighter and Jenni finally taps out and is eliminated! ELIMINATED: JENNIFER YANG Helena lets Jenni go and pushes her off but before Helena can get up, TJ Techniques LEAPS OFF THE TOP OF ONE OF THE CHAMBERS! He lands right on Helena Noir, hitting her with Know The Ledge (Shooting Star Press)!!!! TJ bounces off of her and holds onto his midsection in pain but he musters it up and pins Helena! The referee begins the count. 1! 2! 3!!! DING DING DING!!! The bell rings and TJ Technqiues is announced as the NEW Freedom Champion! It’s been over two years, but we have a new Freedom Champion! The chamber lifts in the air and TJ Techniques is handed the Freedom Championship. After months of going through hardships and pain, TJ Techniques has finally broken through. The emotions over his eyes are overwhelming as he walks over to the turnbuckle and climbs up it and holds the Freedom Championship in the air. The Crown Prince of Mid-Air has finally achieved his dream! Helena and TJ now meet eye contact and the former Liberty Champion gives the Freedom Champion a nod of respect. Confetti begins to fall over them as Liam Callaghan, the one currently in charge of Freedom, stands at the top of the entrance way and claps his hands. The final shot of the show is of TJ Techniques kneeling down in the middle of the ring and staring down at the Freedom Championship in disbelief. WINNER And new Freedom Champion… TJ TECHNIQUES!
