OPENING SEGMENT
Jackson walks into the building with a smirk on his face before coming to a halt.
JACKSON: Tonight is going to be a good night you know. I need and am planning on getting my 2nd career win. I’m coming off the W against Barbara at No Mans Land and Hillary you’re my second victim.
I know you’re going to come into this match full of confidence. Sure of yourself that you’re going to get this W and you should come into it like that. But unfortunately for you, it’ll be misguided. Just like the confidence Barbara had and was sure she was going to get the W over me but look what happened. I broke her face basically.
Jackson smirks and chuckles a bit
JACKSON: I plan on going out there and just like I do other things, steal this W from you. If it’s nothing for me to get rings from people it’ll be nothing for me to get an easy W tonight. I can try to take it easy on you though Hillary. Maybe you’ll be able to at least keep up some! Maybe you won’t. But what we can say for sure is that I’ll be stealing a W tonight. I’ll be making sure that no matter what you may be trying to come at me with I’ll be the one getting the 3 on you.
The Thieves knockout is no joke and you’ll find that out. So good luck tonight,
Jackson winks a bit as he walks off

MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Jackson vs Hilary Levandrier
Jackson vs Hilary Levandrier
RECAP These two were both coming off of strong showings at No Man’s Land III. Hilary, though she might have lost, showed her grit and heart. Meanwhile, Jackson got a big win and he is looking to add onto it. Meanwhile, Lily Callaghan is watching from ringside, scoping out who she might want to add to the Noir Championship match. With the added pressure, Jackson and Hilary did not disappoint. They came out on fire, hitting each other with arm drags, counters and several quick pinfall attempts. It was clear they both wanted to leave a good impression on Lily. Eventually, Jackson took the lead by throwing Hilary outside of the ring. The referee’s focus was there and he began to count her out. Jackson, while the referee had his back turned, took the protective padding off of a turnbuckle in the corner. When Hilary got back into the ring, he grabbed her and tried to whip her to it and it was almost successful but Hilary ran up the turnbuckle and then did a moonsault right on top of Jackson! She now knew what Jackson tried and she wasn’t happy about it. So anything was fair game to her. Levandrier picked Jackson up and whipped him into the corner and BANG! Back first right into the steel! He stumbled out of the corner, holding his back in pain and Hilary wasted little time before hitting Vancity Lights (Arm-Trap Flatliner). She then pinned Jackson and got the huge win! Lily gave Hilary a nod of approval from ringside as the one known as Killary showed why she has that nickname. Vanessa Page walks into the private locker room of the Socialites. She is putting her hair in a ponytail then puts on a New York Yankee hat which causes a massive amount of booing from the Boston crowd. Vanessa looks over and sees Danielle Page stretching. Danielle looks up at Vanessa.
Vanessa Page:You ready?
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Of course. How’s Mari and Kenzie?
Vanessa Page:They are great. They are going to take care of those insignificant miscreants in no time.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Wonderful. Just like I will to that moronic Cassie and teach her she isn’t as important as she thinks she is.
Vanessa Page:Especially without Malaya to protect her.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Exactly, V. All while that third wheel, Chase Hunter, won’t even be a factor of this match.
Vanessa Page:After you dismantle both of them we will focus on getting a two on two match against the Liberty Tag Team Champions instead of having those nerdowells, The Wolves of Legion, in our way of the champions.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Then the world will have what they desire and that is us becoming the Liberty Tag Team Champions.
Vanessa and Danielle exit their locker room.

BACKSTAGE
The scene opens backstage. Cassie Mason, already in her wrestling gear, appears on screen, the fans in Boston shower her with a pleasant ovation. She holds her hands over her heart, touched by the reception.
CASSIE MASON: “There’s no place like home.”
Cassie smiles.
CASSIE MASON: “Been almost two years since I stepped foot in a wrestling ring. There was a time I thought my career was all but over. Silly thing to say considering how young I am. I settled into a routine. Being a manager is not all that's cracked up to be. Tons of hard work. How was I going to be a manager and a wrestler at once? How to allocate the time. Wrestling is my calling. I had an itch I wanted to scratch, and party people, here I am.”
Cassie points to herself.
CASSIE MASON: “Professional wrestling should be fun, hello! Doesn’t have to be serious all the time. Don’t get me wrong, when the bell rings, I am all business. I make a vow to each and everyone single one of you I won’t have a bug stuck up my ass. I won’t take myself a billion times seriously. Enough party poopers around here who do that. Tonight won’t be all fun and games because I step into the ring with one of my girlfriend’s nemesis... Danielle Page.”
Cassie rolls her eyes.
CASSIE MASON: “I’m no stranger to that bitch. Danielle and her fellow socialites made life difficult for me and Malaya in another promotion. In the end, Malaya did run through her sisters to gain a measure of revenge for all the funny business they caused. Doesn’t mean I forgot about all of it. The other promotion didn’t allow me to step foot in the ring. Never imagined I would be able to punch Danielle in the face. That all changes in a matter of moments. So Dani, I may never be able to escape you, may as well have fun whooping at ass. See you out there.”
Cassie winks as the crowd roars. She walks off as the scene fades to black.

MATCH TWO: TRIPLE THREAT
Chase Hunter vs Danielle Page vs Cassie Mason
Chase Hunter vs Danielle Page vs Cassie Mason
RECAP This match started off with the big man, Chase Hunter, dominating the early going. He threw Danielle and Cassie around the ring like they were nothing. But the tide turned when Vanessa Page came out to ringside and jumped on the apron. Hunter nailed her with a big boot but this distracted the referee and Danielle took Chase out with a low blow, followed by a snap DDT. She pinned but Cassie broke it up! Danielle tried for a powerbomb but Cassie countered it into a hurricanrana driver, showing off her lucha side. She then put Danielle in a Figure-four necklock, trying to get her to tap but Danielle got her foot on the ropes. Cassie broke up the hold but she stayed on Page, picking her up and whipping her into the corner but Vanessa was back on the apron again. Cassie took her out but this gave Danielle the chance to get back into the match and she did so when she came out of the corner and speared Cassie! She pinned but no! Chase broke it up! All hell broke loose in the match now and Chase soon looked like he was about to take over when he destroyed Page with a powerbomb! He wasn’t able to capitalize on it though, as Mason took him out with Ruthless Aggression [Repeated shoot to the chest of a kneeling opponent followed by a roundhouse to the opponent's head]! She then hit the top ropes and BANG! Party Stopper (Phoenix Splash) right onto Hunter. She pinned and picked up the three count! What a debut. Backstage, Madi Smith is ready to interview Scott Dunn. He bursts into view and takes the microphone before she even says boo. He sets down a life size cardboard cutout of Arabella Evers beside him.
Scotty: “I got this one, gorgeous.”
He stands in front of Madi, blocking her from the shot entirely.
Scotty: “Alright, fuckos? Scotty Dunn here, reporting from backstage in Boston, Massa-fuckin’-chusetts.”
A cheer? Only because of the mention of the city they’re in. Easy brownie points.
Scotty: “My first show here in Liberty, folks, and it’s Freedom Day. Sweet episode sixteen, innit?”
Madi tries to get back into view, but Scott pulls the camera away from her. She can be seen throwing her hands up in the air over his shoulder.
Scotty: “Tonight I take on this individual right here, Arabella Evers. Bella’s been kind enough to join us for an interview, as you can see.”
He turns to the cutout.
Scotty: “So, Bella, tell us a bit about yourself.”
The cutout does not respond, it’s cardboard.
Scotty: “Wow, so interesting.”
He raises a brow as he looks at the camera. The cutout, of course, remains silent.
Scotty: “And you said something about beating me tonight? Tell us all about all the different ways you think you can do that.”
He puts the microphone to her and nothing happens.
Scotty: “Come on, not a one?”
Silence.
Scotty: “I guess she’s got shy now she’s on the spot. That’s okay, I don’t mind outshining lil miss rookie here.”
He addresses the camera dead on.
Scotty: “Fact is, tonight ain’t about her, let me make that clear. Who Liberty put up against me, it was never gonna matter. Tonight’s my show, my spotlight, my debut. Tonight I’m gonna use Bella here as the example, though. Ain’t nothing personal, love, I didn’t pick the opponent. But it is necessary. Folks always want to talk shit about me. They always want to try and stand on me, but what happens?”
He flips the cutout over, drops her on her head and then stomps a hole into her chest.
Scotty: “Unbridled fury and limitless strength, that’s what. So if you think I’m losing on my first go here, well you guys have another thing coming.”
He kicks the cutout away.
Scotty: “Arabella, you might be a hottie but you better look in the mirror before we fight, ‘cause after? Well you ain’t gonna look so nice.”
He reaches down and rips the head off the cutout, holding it to the camera like a trophy.
Scotty: “So take a long look at what was, then be ready for what’s about to be.”
He hands that to Madi and leaves her to close the shot as he walks away, abruptly ending the interview.

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Arabella Evers vs Scott Dunn
Arabella Evers vs Scott Dunn
RECAP Scott Dunn, a former heavyweight champion in High Roller Wrestling, was making his debut here in Freedom. Lily Callaghan was ringside for this match as well. Arabella wanted to rebound from a recent loss and she looked to prove herself against a competitor like Scott. She led the early going, keeping Scott at bay with a plethora of moves. A thrust kick, followed by a headscissors takedown, which was then followed by a crossbody off of the top ropes. Evers used her quickness to keep her larger opponent down. She hit the ropes and Scotty tried to hit her with a pop up european uppercut, but Evers countered with 4-Ever Arabella: Diving Double-Knee Facebuster (Codebreaker)! She pinned Dunn and looked for the win but NO! He kicked out right before the three! Evers was in disbelief. How could he have kicked out of her finish? She shook it off and stalked over the big man, wanting to go for a second one. When he got up, she charged but Scott took her out when her caught her by the throw and chokeslammed her! He then declared this one was over and he wasn’t kidding, as he picked her up and ended the match with Dunn and Dusted (Powerbomb lungblower). Scott looked over at Lily and told her that he deserved more than a shot at the Noir Championship. She simply gave him a nod and clapped her hands. Kendrick is leaning up against a wall in the back as he watches people pass by him. He grins a bit as each person passes then takes a breath
KENDRICK KROSS: People are probably wondering why I’m here at Freedom. Well honestly it’s simple. I’m scoping out competition. I am the first person to get a shot at the Noir Championship and seeing as I can face anyone from either brand it’s best if I come and check out Freedom is it not?
He stays leaning up against the wall with a big grin
KENDRICK KROSS: Tonight has already been entertaining for sure. And been able to scout out a bit so far tonight but there’s still plenty of night to go.
I’ve got to be honest though, it doesn’t matter who it is. I’ll step in the ring with anyone from Freedom. I will become the first Noir Champion. So whether it’s someone from here. Or if it’s Karen or if it’s two people. It doesn’t matter to me.
So I’m keeping an eye on everyone here in Freedom. I’m making sure I don’t just push anyone to the side. I’m taking everyone serious which is why I came to Freedom in person. Need an up close look at how they are. So it’s going to be interesting, and I’m going to love scouting everyone here.

Scotty Latimer & Cait Flanagan vs Marisol Vilaro & Kenzie
RECAP This match was evenly paced for a bit, but Kenzie & Marisol showed off their teamwork ability as they took the lead and had Scotty in their corner. They tagged out and took turns beating the superstar down, trying to take him out of the match because of how much of a threat Latimer is. The match soon took a turn for Scotty when he leveled Kenzie with a Final Wave out of nowhere! But she wasn’t the legal man as Marisol had tagged herself in! But Cait was impatient and she didn’t care, so she came into the ring and took Marisol down with a slingblade! She then got to her corner and waited for Scotty to tag in. He finally made it to the corner and Cait came into the ring on fire! She hit Marisol with a clothesline! Then Kenzie! But wait! The ‘inspired’ followers are now surrounding the ring! Cait screamed at them to get the fuck out of here! But Scotty? Scotty wasn’t having it. He quickly grabbed a chair and began to swing with intent! He took out one, two, three, four, five of them! Kenzie couldn’t believe what Scotty was doing and she pulled the chair from him. The referee was distracted, yelling at Kenzie and Scotty to stop. Inside of the ring, Big Bobby and Ricky Rodriguez soon entered and Bobby took out Cait with a big clothesline! Ricky then hit her with a splash before giving a nod to his friend, Marisol, to pin. Marisol pinned Cait and yelled at the referee to pay attention. He turned and made the count and it went to three! Scotty then went to hit Kenzie with the chair but BAM! RECAP This was a tag match between two teams that knew how to truly work together. It was two teams of best friends. Jessica Anderson and Carli Davis wanted to show the world how great B² could be together. It’s clear how much Millie and Trinity have gotten to know each other over the last year plus, since their time in the Academy of Millennium together. Millie hit Jessica with a tornado DDT and almost picked up a near fall but Carli broke it up. Trinity charged in the ring and she started to trade blows with Davis. All hell broke loose and the referee lost control of the match. The tide soon changed when Carli tossed Trinity out of the ring. She and Jessica then teamed up on Millie and by this point, it was all but over as B² took her out with "Or B Squared" - T-Up into Show Stealer! What a debut for the two best friends! Blyss Lockhart walks into her locker room to find none other than Syn seated rather comfortably in one the stalls. Syn’s wearing a hoodie with the hood covering her eyes and has her feet kicked up on a neighboring chair. When she hears Blyss enter, Syn lazily stands and holds her hands in the air as if she were about to be arrested.
Syn: Don’t shoot… or go ham… or try to rip my arm off or whatever. I’m unarmed, I’m alone and I come in peace… mostly.
Syn nods her head back and as the hood falls she gives Blyss a big smile.
Syn: See? Innocent and as adorable as ever.
Syn punctuates her statement with a cheesy wink and waits to see if ditching her security detail was a good idea or not. Blyss immediately looks around the room, searching for anything out of place or threatening. But when she sees nothing of the sort, she looks back at Syn and studies her. Whatever she’s thinking at this point is unknown as she keeps a rather nonchalant face. But she’s parked herself at the door now, thinking it best to put herself in the way of Syn’s escape should whatever this is go wrong.
Blyss Lockhart: Why are you here?
Syn was whistling nonchalantly as she watched Blyss conduct her investigation.
Syn: Oh you’re done. Good, cuz we haven’t much time. Why am I here?
Syn sighs and crinkles up her nose as if trying to figure it out herself.
Syn: I think I’m here because I want to call bygones. Like you and yours assaulted me… violently… and in the name of revenge I shaved a head and lit a dude on fire… but I didn’t touch you.
She shrugs.
Syn: Some might argue you deserved a piece of that vengeance pie considering you worked me over pretty good but somehow I feel connected to you, like you and I have a mutual… respect? Not sure that’s the best word for it but it’s a mutual something. So I’m here, without Reaper, which will likely earn me a scowl later, to see if my intuition was correct. To see if sparing you in the name of a truce was the right move.
Blyss doesn’t say a word for a moment and if it were someone else, they would have probably grown nervous from the way she’s just staring and looking like she might pounce at any second. But she leans against the door as her face breaks into a smile.
Blyss Lockhart: Your intuition is correct…
She chuckles then lets out a sigh. She looks at Syn, as if regarding something in her mind first before speaking again.
Blyss Lockhart: I like you, Syn. You’re right. There’s something between us, a mutual something as you say, and I can feel it too. To be honest, I didn’t think you were anything much when we first met. But you kept proving me wrong and I’m very impressed. You have that fire in you… That fire to not just keep getting back up but also to keep making an even bigger statement than before. The kind of fire that would only leave a mark on everything and everyone that comes in your path. I know that fire. I feel it too.
She finally steps into the room, closer to Syn.
Blyss Lockhart: Spare me or don’t spare me, that’s not what I’m interested in. But do you agree with what I’ve said about us? Is that what your intuition is saying too?
Syn’s eyes widen as Blyss approaches. She chews her bottom lip and instinctively rolls the shoulder Blyss practically tore from it’s socket a few weeks back.
Syn: That fire? I feel it. No matter how much I try to stomp it down it burns bright. Sometimes it rages until I have no choice but to let it out. I’m not sure even Becky understands what that’s like. Her crazy is more calculated while mine… and maybe ours… is chaotic.
Syn runs a hand along her temple.
Syn: Constant chaos… visions of carnage… and SO many thoughts. If I acted on most of them we’d be having this discussion through prison glass. Is that what it’s like for you?
Syn’s head tilts, her voice trailing off as she awaits a response. Blyss pulls up a chair to sit with Syn and looks at her again with another wordless moment. Then she slowly nods.
Blyss Lockhart: Yes… That’s what it’s been like for me… I always have a battle within myself, I used to not know what to do with all these thoughts that won’t let me sleep… So I end up lashing out, doing whatever without thinking of the consequences because fuck them, it just feels good to let it all out… Because finally I can be at peace…
Blyss looks at Syn.
Blyss Lockhart: But there’s no such thing as peace. Not when there’s so many things to do. But it does feel better… and lighter… at times… And… actually, it’s because of times like this, you and I talking about calling it bygones… It helps. It’s why I’ve been trying to put the past behind me when I came back to wrestling. I told the people I hurt that I’m moving forward. And that helps give me some quiet, just enough to move on and do what I need to.
She gives a firm smile.
Blyss Lockhart: So you do what you need to. That is the only way.
Syn smiles and nods in response.
Syn: I’m glad you said that because…
The sound of a toilet flushing draws both their attention. From the bathroom Hector comes waddling out with a comic book tucked under his arm. He begins hopping on one foot, trying to shake some stray toilet paper from the bottom of his boot. Before either of them can react they’re overcome by the pungent aroma of a colossal crap. Hector finally looks up and blinks between the two of them. He didn’t expect to see Blyss there and since he’s a man of few words he just nods back towards the bathroom and utters…
Hector: Number two.
He holds up two pudgy fingers and nods, indicating it was a bad one. Syn dry heaves and immediately covers her nose before looking at Blyss with apologetic eyes. Also covering her nose, Blyss just stares daggers, first at Hector then Syn.
Syn: I really am sorry but I told you we didn’t have much time. I’m sure the stench will clear… eventually.
She beckons for Hector to follow her as she heads for the door while still addressing Blyss.
Syn: I’m sure we’ll talk again. Maybe over coffee or something?
Syn gags and Hector shrugs and waves to Blyss before waddling towards the door.
Syn: Oh my god that’s disgusting.
Blyss Lockhart: JUST GO!!!
Blyss practically pushes them out the door to escape the smell. Once she steps out of the room, she turns to Syn.
Blyss Lockhart: See ya later, Syn. Good talk. But next time be more specific when warning me about… him.
She makes a face at Hector before walking away.
MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES
Marcus Black vs Cecily Bell
Marcus Black vs Cecily Bell
RECAP Cecily Bell has had a rough go at it and this match? Well, it was not the one she wanted to rebound from the couple of losses she had suffered. She charged Marcus and went for a clothesline but the big man didn’t even move. She tried again but nothing. She tried a third time but Marcus caught her, lifted her in the air and absolutely demolished her with a spinebuster. He then lifted her up to her feet and onto his shoulders before spinning her off and that was all she wrote, Black finished her off with Blackhammer (F-5). He dropped down and pinned her and got the decisive and quick victory. WINNER Marcus Black METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 1:23 FINISHING MOVE Blackhammer POST MATCH After the match Stella raises Marcus's arms proudly in victory before walking to the edge of the ropes and demanding a microphone. Stella Winters: Man I dunno what that bitch did to piss off management so much that they decided to book this match against Marcus but OH BOY. Sucks to suck. She walks over to Cecily as the referee checks on them and tries to nudge her out of the ring with the side of her boot. Stella Winters: Eww, squished bug, fuck off. Marcus holds his hand in front of her to stop her from following up, but Stella simply steps back to Marcus chuckling before handing him the microphone. Marcus Black: This is only the beginning. Every single person on this roster that gets put in front of me can expect the same treatment as Cecily here. I don't care who it is- Suddenly Marcus is cut off by “Step up (I’m on it)” By Maylene and the Sons of Disaster erupting from the speakers and flooding the arena. At first, everyone is confused. Stella, Marcus, the announcers, the crowd… That is until Jack Graves steps out through the curtains, a microphone in one hand and a beer in the other. This gets a pop from the crowd, and Jack gives Marcus and Stella a smug little shrug as he takes a sip from his ice cold beer. Marcus raises the mic again to speak as the music dies down, but Jack shakes his head and raises his own mic to cut him off. Jack Graves: Whoa there hoss, I think you and the human etch-a-sketch have said quite enough. Sorry about the confusion too, by the way. I had to change some things up. Sounds like these folks approve of the new entrance theme though. The crowd gives another pop, and Jack finishes his beer to drop the can and punt it toward the ring at the two newcomers. He then takes a few more steps down the ramp, keeping his eyes locked on the two of them as he speaks. Jack Graves: I don’t have to explain why I’m out here, right? That was a bold ass statement you just made. "Every single person on this roster that gets put in front of me can expect the same." Graves mocks Marcus, deepening his voice even more than it already was. Kinda like Christian Bale’s asthematic sounding rendition of Batman. Which was a god awful performance, by the way. Jack Graves: That's what you said, ain't it? Well hate to break it to you, but I’m on this roster, juice-box; and I’m the one standing in front of you now. I also happen to have a few friends on this roster and uh… Jack gestures at Cecily, as he closes the distance to help her under the ropes and to her feet. Jack Graves: Cece here is one of them. So, that means YOU sir are already on my shitlist and you ain’t even been here 24 hours. But as I recall, you have some friends here too, don’t you? You used to be bitch boy Dante’s tag team partner, right? I mean, I’m not SURPRISED… birds of a feather and all that. Listen Marcus, I’m new here too, and I’m here to become a champion. I’m here to create some buzz. But, above all else, I’m here to whoop some ass. Loudmouth, washed up, pieces of trash like you make the perfect target to use as fodder to send a message. You’re accomplished. A former Champion. Yeah, I’ve done my homework. You were a baaaaaad man in IYHWF. You guys ran shit. You ran THROUGH motherfuckers, and you were a force to be reckoned with. But then you sat your oversized rectal suppository looking ass down on the couch for a hot minute because your body wasn’t holdin’ up like it used to. But oh boy! Now you’re back and you're thinking shit is sweet around here. Yeah, you're thinking you’re cock of the walk. Cece thanks Jack as he speaks, and she limps her way up the ramp to the back with the help of the medical staff to leave them their verbal spat. Jack shakes his head, and he climbs the ring steps to stand on the apron, staring them down. Jack Graves: I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news for you. You ain’t shit, and hell will freeze over, pigs will fly, and Stella will stop getting shitfaced and letting people doodle all over her like the corner desk in a high school detention room before you EVER do THAT to ME. The last words of this stanza are delivered with fire and venom and the crowd comes alive again in anticipation of a brawl. The flame quickly dies back down though, as the same familiar smirk spreads across the lips of the Tennessean in its stead. Jack Graves: I welcome you to try though, big feller. By all means. I want to give you the opportunity to be a man of your word. Normally, I’d take off this stetson and these sunglasses and whip your ass all over Boston right here right now, but I’ve got another so-called “Kraken” to filet tonight… so we’ll have to postpone this lil’ shindig. He pauses and tilts his head to the side for a moment in faux-confusion as he pretends to just notice the similarities. Jack Graves: What’s with that, by the way? THE KRAKEN! Did they run out of names on the “Random wrestler ring name generator?” That’s sorta generic, matey. I mean, two guys in one company? What are the odds? It’s like that Spider-Man gif where they are pointing at each other. You know the one, come on. Don't act like you don't. Did you guys just watch Pirates of the Caribbean a bunch and decide to roll with it? Before either of them can answer, Jack holds his hand up again and laughs. Jack Graves: That was rhetorical. I don’t actually give a fuck. You can call yourself whatever you’d like. Hell, call yourself god for that matter. It still won’t stop the deicide that would occur when you step between these ropes with me and that bell rings. But hey, why talk about it right? Let’s be about it. You and me, next week. I’m going to put one “kraken” down tonight, and then they are going to call me the Gorton’s Fisherman because I’ll put another one down next week, make minced meat of you both, and voila. Fish sticks. This gets a laugh from the crowd, and Jack gives both of the occupants a wink. Marcus steps forward, and Graves drops off the apron before he can take a swipe at him, wagging his finger. Jack Graves: Ah-aht. I know you’re used to doing things “prematurely” but let’s give them a little foreplay first big feller. Damn. You’ll get your chance next week. Until then, watch your back… Jack turns and heads back up the ramp as Marcus and Stella speak amongst themselves in the ring, laughing at the challenge issued by a “nobody” like Jack Graves. The “Gentleman” stops at the top of the ramp to turn back to them. He's silent for just a moment, before raising the mic once more, his other hand giving Marcus and Stella a one finger salute. The sign of his people. Jack Graves: By the way? Welcome to Freedom, motherfucker. This is my show now, and I ain’t a gentleman anymore. Put up the wanted posters because there's an Outlaw in town, and this town? It ain't big enough for the both of us partner. The mic drops to the ramp with a screech of feedback and Jack draws dual finger guns from his hips like a gunslinger quick-drawing from twin holsters. He fires some imaginary "shots" down the ramp, and he then blows the smoke from the "barrels" before re-holstering them to disappear back through the curtains. The camera settles on Markus and Stella in the ring, who look very annoyed and confused about what just happened, before the scene fades to black. |
BACKSTAGE
Reaper is backstage. Normally, he would be seen pushing Chloe Collins through the halls, but today, she rolls along beside him, her tablet tucked neatly in her case as she wheeled herself next to the soldier.
Chloe Collins: “Where is she now?”
Reaper: “Hector’s match. I have a few minutes.”
Chloe Collins: “Any updates?”
Reaper shakes his head.
Reaper: “Aside from causing a ruckus on social media? It’s been surprisingly quiet.”
Chloe Collins: “Mason has been keeping an eye on the Society.”
Reaper: “They’re growing.”
Chloe Collins: “That could be cause for concern.”
Reaper: “We still think they’re connected?”
Chloe Collins: “I think we need to assume that they are. We know they’re working with Nathan, but I’m inclined to agree with you and our team: Something is very off.”
Reaper: “Heard Mason had a chat with Callaghan the other night.”
Chloe Collins: “We didn’t learn much. A little, but we’ll need to dig a little deeper.”
Reaper grunts. He pauses at a door, forcing Chloe to stop.
Reaper: “Seems I’ve got my hands full here. They won’t make my job easy.”
Chloe snorts.
Chloe Collins: “Is the mighty Reaper telling me he’s in over his head?”
Reaper gives a rare, but gentle smile.
Reaper: “Not at all. But I’m being kept close at hand here. Not a whole lot I can do to back up Mason if she needs it.”
Chloe sighs.
Chloe Collins: “Fortunately, it doesn’t seem she needs it at this time. I’ll keep working the client, see if maybe we can get you a little more slack. In the meantime, keep your ear to the ground. See what you can learn.”
Reaper: “As usual.”
Chloe gives him a respectful nod.
Chloe Collins: “Make me proud.”

MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES
Hector w/Syn vs Rayven Hardy
Hector w/Syn vs Rayven Hardy
RECAP Rayven and Hector stand in the ring ready to do battle. Hector looks oddly focused, standing in the corner and nodding his head while Syn is perched on the turnbuckle whispering instructions in his ear. Rayven points over and yells that Syn had better not be anywhere near the ring when the bell rings and Syn responds by flipping her double birds. Rayven gets the referee involved and he goes over to talk to Syn who nods her head and crosses her heart, promising not to interfere in the match. The second the ref turns away Syn scowls and makes a throat slashing motion towards Rayven, when the ref turns back Syn immediately smiles sweetly and blows Ray a kiss before wishing her luck and hopping down from the turnbuckle. The bell rings and Syn reviews a few last second instructions with Hector before both combatants start towards the middle of the ring. Hector seems to be taking this seriously as he exhibits semi-decent form while preparing to lock up with the much smaller Rayven. Just as they’re about to lock up Hector plants his left leg and immediately crumbles to the mat, howling in pain. The big man flails like a giant toddler, grasping his knee and crying for help! The announce team theorizes that carrying that much weight around is never good for your knees and that Hector may have blown his ACL while going for the lock up. A look of concern comes over Syn on the outside. On the inside the referee just sort of looks at Rayven and shrugs. Ever compassionate Rayven decides to check on Hector as it’s breaking her heart to see the big man in so much pain. The second she crouches down Hector secures a beautiful inside cradle and rolls Rayven up for a pin attempt! ONE… The crowd gasps at the sight of Hector executing an actual wrestling move, not to mention displaying some serious acting chops. TWO… Syn leaps up onto the canvas, counting along with the referee, a HUGE smile plastered across her face as her plan to prey on Ray’s compassion is working! THRE… Rayven manages to squirm free just before the referee’s hand strikes the canvas for a count of three. She staggers to her feet, completely confused. On the apron Syn is pleading her case with the referee that his count was too slow. Hector struggles back to his feet, because when you’re that size getting to your feet is always a struggle, and he uses the opportunity to fling his perplexed opponent into the far ropes… exactly where Syn is standing… when Ray hits the ropes her arms flail and her elbow snaps back, catching Syn flush in the jaw and sending her plummeting to the floor. Rayven realizes that with Syn out of the way now is her time to strike. She runs towards Hector, who suddenly looks like a deer in the headlights, and executes a picture perfect shining wizard, the toe of her boot connecting with Hector’s temple as the big man falls like a sequoia. Rayven wastes no time, scaling the turnbuckles and perching herself on the very top, looking over Hector. On the outside Syn begins to stir, her eyes going wide as she looks up and sees Rayven preparing to hit her finisher. Syn jumps to her feet and runs towards Rayven, leaping onto the canvas and swiping at her foot just as Rayven launches high in the air and comes crashing down on Hector with the Skittle Star Press! Syn does her best to get there in time to break up the pin but she gets caught up in the ropes as Rayven secures the three count and the victory. BACKSTAGE
The picture picks up backstage at the Matthews Arena, focusing on the pair of Ricky Rodriguez and Big Ass Bobby. The larger of the two stood against the wall with his arms crossed at his chest. Meanwhile, young Ricky sat on the floor, dressed to compete, as he took some time to assemble an unknown Lego set.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'No Man's Land was just the beginnin. It was the start of me finally realizin and acceptin what I'm truly capable of in that ring. I really don't have nottabit against Carli. I really don't, at all. It's just somethin that hadda be done. I hadda stand up and show people that I am gonna do whatever it takes to be successful in that ring, y'know?
But people seem to have the wrong idea bout the whole thing. They seem to think that..what I've done automatically makes me this..despicable human bein..but that couldn't be further from the truth. I've seen the lengths that some people go to in this business. Attackin people out in the streets. Goin after people's families. That's not me. That's not gonna be me. Blood feuds..they're not worth it to me.'
Ricky continued to put together that set, the sound of the small plastic pieces snapping together filling the room. The whole time he was doing so, his focus stayed zeroed in on what he was doing. With each piece, his project became more and more clear.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'But it's more than that..it's my newfound association with Kenzie and Marisol. Guilty by association, as some would say. Kenzie has been great. Always a reassurin word..a kind smile..advice. She's really not this evil, manipulative woman like you all paint her to be. It's bullshit and totallyyy not fair to her.
But that seems to be a common thread with alottabit of people here..ignorance. You don't know so you assume. And not just assume but you assume the worst fuckin things imaginable. It's sickenin really. But still..you do it and you think it's funny. But really..all it's doin is showin just how immature each and every one of you are..and this is comin from the guy sittin on the floor, buildin with legos. So..you can see the problem here, right?'
And with the last piece clicking into place, Ricky looked down at his completed project, an accomplished smile growing out across his boyish features. It was a wrestling ring, built entirely out of legos. Obviously not a full sized one but close enough.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Speakin of problems..that leads me to tonight and my one on one match with Reaper. You dropped a quote on me, the other night. It's one I've thought bout a wholeeeelottabit since then, bigguy. You can get further with a kind word and a gun than you can with just a kind word. But that's not gonna work on me. I'm not gonna be intimidated by you. When that bell rings, I'm gonna step right up to you, face to chest. And I will not back down from you.
Yeah sure, I may get my ass kicked..hell, I'm prolly gonna get my ass kicked. But that's not gonna stop me..it's not even gonna slow me down. See, I'm gonna find a way. I don't know what it's gonna take or what Ima hafta do but I promise you, Reaper, you're gonna remember me by time we're done.'
Quickly, Ricky rolled up to a standing position before leaning down and carefully picking up that lego wrestling ring. He looked to Bobby with a nod as the big man pushed off of that wall.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'This is a gift..for you, Reaper. I want you to keep this and whenever you look at it..I want you to think back to the childish little boy who wasn't intimidated by you..the childish little boy who stood up and gave you every bit of fight you can handle..and then some.
Another nod was given to Bobby as he opened the door, letting Ricky walk out of that room. Before Bobby followed, he turned his head to look at the man holding the camera.
Big Ass Bobby: 'I'm willing to do whatever it takes to keep him safe. Remember that.'
And with that, Bobby followed Ricky out, the door closing behind them.

BACKSTAGE
We go backstage where Rayven Hardy is standing by. The former World Champion was fresh, having not broken a sweat in her victory over Hector.
RAYVEN HARDY: Wow. I have to say that Hector gave it his all, but the fans are the reason I’m standing here, victorious. I had a feeling Syn was going to pull some stuff, and she tried…but that isn’t ‘even important. I just hope we can get back to being friends now. And that little bump, Syn? I want you to hear it from me personally, that was an accident. Hector threw me across the ring and….
Rayven stops and looks straight ahead as someone, or something has clearly caught her attention.
RAYVEN HARDY: It was an accident.
Syn steps into the frame, walking directly into Rayven’s space as she stares up at the taller woman. Everything about Syn’s body language screams that she’s there looking for trouble.
SYN: I’m sorry…
Attitude drips from every word.
SYN: Before I even get to the second lie you just told, let's address the first. Hector gave it his all?
She scoffs.
SYN: Lies like that are the reason I think you’re full of shit.
Syn inhales deeply in Rayven’s face.
SYN: And right now you fucking stink, Ray Ray.
Rayven gets a smirk on her face as she looks down at the brash young woman.
RAYVEN HARDY: Listen, I just wrestled a match. A match you tried to cost me. You did all you could to push me off that turnbuckle, didn’t you? Don’t even answer. We both know that you did. And what happened? You failed. I think the fans can respect Hector more than they can you. At least he plays by the rules. But you? You’re the one that stinks.
Rayven wasn’t looking for a fight, but was clearly standing her ground, even stepping a bit closer, bumping her chest ever so slightly against Syn’s.
RAYVEN HARDY: Did you want to apologize for going back on your word and interfering?
Syn holds a hand up in Rayven’s face, as close as she could possibly get without actually touching her.
SYN: First of all I didn’t insert myself in the match until you assaulted me.
Rayven goes to interject but Syn keeps going.
SYN: Uh huh, that’s right… ASSAULTED. How do I know it was a planned assault? Because you hit me flush in the jaw. The very jaw Lily took a bounty out on. So save the innocent act, Ray Ray. No one believes your lies. You saw an opportunity and you took it. Everything after that was me retaliating to you clearly being the aggressor. You drew first blood. Congratulations. You surprised me. I didn’t think you had it in you but now I know better than to ever trust you again.
RAYVEN HARDY: You have to be kidding me. Do you REALLY think I would try and claim Lily’s bounty on you?
Syn presses her lips together in a confirming nod.
RAYVEN HARDY: Watch the match back. Hector threw me into the ropes as hard as he could. I had zero control over my body. Did my arms flail back and crack you? Yes. Did I mean for that to happen? Absolutely not. But why were you on the apron anyway? Your place is on the outside of the ring…where the non wrestlers belong.
Rayven looks down at the defiant and fiery manager.
RAYVEN HARDY: I have to talk to Jack, are we done here?
Syn laughs loudly, popping up on her toes to make sure it’s directly in Rayven’s face.
SYN: I was on the apron because the ref CLEARLY made a slow count. Your shoulders were down for what? Six seconds at least. But sure, go running off to Jack.
Syn chuckles softly now.
SYN: Funny when you need something you run to him but when he needs something he calls me.
Syn shrugs and smiles before turning away to step out of the frame, but before she can get even one full step away, she’s grabbed by her shoulders and spun around. Ray then shoves her so hard that she falls onto her backside!
RAYVEN HARDY: EXCUSE ME!?
Ray watches Syn’s face turn flush red before realizing what she had just done.
RAYVEN HARDY: I’m….I didn’t mean to. You know you crossed a line, but I was wrong.
Rayven reluctantly extends her right hand to offer Syn a helping hand up from the floor but Syn just smiles, even lounging a bit.
SYN: You know you just fucked up big time, huh? That’s the second time you’ve put your hands on me and tried to lie about it, only this time you admitted the truth.
Syn gets back to her feet on her own, wiping off her backside as she does so.
SYN: This could’ve died here but now?
Syn's smile grows even larger before she emits an almost child-like giggle.
SYN: Now you poured gasoline over whatever it is we had brewing here and you handed me a match.
She makes a tsk, tsk, tsk sound.
SYN: Never provoke me, Ray Ray. I’ll see you soon. You run along to Jack and celebrate that hard fought victory. You REALLY earned it.
This time Rayven allows Syn to turn and walk away without stopping her. She balls her fists up at her sides and then sighs in a conflicting manner. The camera captures a close up of her shaking her head before the shot moves back to ringside.

MATCH NINE: SINGLES
Reaper vs Ricky Rodriguez
Reaper vs Ricky Rodriguez
RECAP Ricky had his work cut out for him, and he knew it. As quick and clever as they come, Ricky spent the early part of the match darting around the behemoth, firing off quick shots and hopping away before Reaper could get his hands on Ricky. He targeted Reaper’s legs, sending rapid kicks to the back of the knee which wobbled Reaper for a moment, but unfortunately for Ricky, his plan relied on keeping out of Reaper’s reach, and Reaper wasn’t stupid. As Ricky darted around for another attack, Reaper turned and caught his leg, jerking it up to try and put Ricky on his back. Ricky somehow scouted it, backflipping fully and landing right back on his feet, but Reaper was already moving in with a clothesline. From there, it was the Reaper show. A few well-placed elbow drops and a couple of slams kept Ricky down and on the recovery. As Ricky took a few desperation swings at Reaper, the big man pulled him up by the neck and leveled him with another clothesline. He knelt to pick him up again. Ricky dug a thumb to Reaper’s eye, out of sight of the referee! Reaper stumbled back to the ropes, rubbing his eye with one hand. Ricky got up and came in to attack, but Reaper came off the ropes looking for that K.I.A. boot! Ricky ducked it! He turned around, right into a kick to the abdomen from The Sentinel. Reaper took his arm and threw him to the corner. Ricky hit it hard, bouncing back out of the corner. Reaper grabbed him, and the crowd roared, knowing there was a Pale Horse on the horizon. Reaper lifted Ricky for the powerbomb… and Big Ass Bobby has seen enough! Ricky’s imposing manager slid into the ring and clocked Reaper to the back of the head, forcing him to drop Ricky, and the referee to call for the blatant disqualification! WINNER Reaper METHOD DQ MATCH LENGTH 7:23 FINISHING MOVE Clothesline POST MATCH Bobby considered furthering the attack, but Reaper was already shrugging off the blindside, and Ricky was still woozy from the match. Bobby dragged Ricky from the ring and helped him up the ramp, looking down at Reaper still standing in the ring. |

“Wrestling will never let me down.”
Sparrow is backstage at the Matthews Arena and staring into space. The tone is solemn, even with vibrant ring gear of greens, yellows, reds. It’s really channeling the very spirit of the Caribbean here tonight in the long tights, with one kick pad a myriad of West Indian flags and the other a single long feather. He sits on a production crate and just talks...Not even really to the cameraman or to the people watching so much as just...Talking.
Sparrow: I was thinkin’ about how....I’m in my fourth year as a professional wrestler. I’ve gained some things I ain’t want, I’ve lost some things I wanted to keep, and yet I keep on keepin’ on. I’ve thought about what I wanted in Freedom, in LIberty Pro as a whole. For a little bit there I felt on top of the world. I had a girlfriend, I had a nice show on Youtube that was getting a lot of play, a lot of support from my fellow wrestlers, I had two championships in two different companies. Life was good. Then it wasn’t...And that’s okay too. Because that’s life. Life lets you down. Things around wrestling lets you down but the craft itself...It never lets you down yes.
The West Indian Whirlwind motioned his hand as though asking someone to look all around.
Sparrow: I can’t beat TJ here for love or for spite. Our Freedom champion. I ain’t hold that against him. I recognize him as the better competitor and that ain’t change the friendship, the love I have for brethren. One day I wanna hold that championship but that day may just the same never come, not ever. Because that’s life. It ain’t wrestling disappointing me. It’s me letting myself down, ain’t?
For a few moments, Sparrow just continues sitting...Tapping his fingers on the crate, before throwing his arms up in the air.
Sparrow: I dunno. I dunno. I don’t have answers. I don’t know why we get all these banger matches on Liberation and Freedom and God help we that there’s another turn of family drama. Yeah. Because when family and wrestling mix y’see, they define each other. You can’t escape one without the other and it all blends together I suspect so no one’s really free of---any of it. I don’t even know if I can beat you tonight Emery. ...But I’m okay with that too. Because I just wanna forget the rest of the world and the rest of my life right now and for ten solid minutes, fiteen, longer...Wrestle one of the greatest around.
He paused.
Sparrow: In a few years I’d like to be like Emery Layton...One of the most well-traveled, well-known wrestlers on the planet. A wrestler every fandom from every company wants to see. I wanna be someone who can stand with every pillar and be one of those names. One day I’d like to be like you Emery.
He smiled slightly.
Sparrow: ...But I'll settle for facing you tonight.

Skylar Rayner vs Blyss Lockhart
Skylar Rayner vs Blyss Lockhart
RECAP Skylar knew she had problems going into this one thanks to a numbers game. Dante was ringside, taunting Rayner throughout the match. Because of this, along with Lockhart’s experience, she controlled the majority of the match. Skylar almost picked up the upset victory when she took Blyss out with The Kick That Knocked Aries Down: Roundhouse Kick! She then hit the apron, looking to go for Sky’s The Limit but then Dante held her leg! Skylar kicked him off! She then leaped up onto the top of the rope and did a moonsault right onto Locke! But this was enough for Blyss to take back control as she had exited the ring and grabbed Skylar, whipping her hard into the steel steps. Lockhart then rolled Skylar into the ring and she hit a stirring Rayner with a bicycle knee strike. Scaling the top turnbuckle now, Blyss hit Blyzzard — Corkscrew shooting star press, and she went for the pin. Easy three count and the win. He grabbed Skylar and he dropped her with Straight To Hell (Underhook Front Facelock Drop)! Blyss laughed and mocked Skylar as she took the beating. Dante then locked in Dante’s Inferno (Kimura Lock) and Skylar screamed out in pain as Lockhart continued to point and laugh. The referee yelled at Dante to get off and he finally relented. He slammed Skylar in the head and called her a dumb bitch before he and Blyss left the ring to prepare for his match later tonight. |
BACKSTAGE
Backstage! And as we walk down the corridor, but fear not as we do not walk alone. As she wears her beanie and jacket over her wrestling gear, we struggle to keep up with the fast-paced, speedy walk of Emery Layton.
Emery Layton: Come on, keep up! You definitely didn’t do your cardio today! Get on that. Anyway…y’know there was a part of me that hoped I’d be walking along today with the Freedom Championship over my shoulder, but I’m not. I went into the main event of No Mans Land and TJ Techniques came out still on top. He was the better man.
Em pauses her speech, but continues walking. She looks down at her boots, and from her face we get the feeling she’s a slight bit disappointed, if only for a moment.
Emery Layton: Still, that’s fine. I’m fine. I went into the first main event title match in four years and came outta the other side unscathed. And that? I’m proud. Not a lotta people can say that. But I didn’t stop there.
She stops there. Coming to an unexpected, screeching halt and pivoting on the ball of her foot to face us.
Emery Layton: I’ve just come off one of the biggest weekends of my life. A win on Saturday, and then another on Sunday. Ana Hayden, Olivia MacAvoy; two massive wins. Coming up this week, I’m gonna be all over the place, wrestling anywhere and everywhere, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’ve got the hang of all of this. I’ve come outta this weekend feeling like a new woman. I got plans, things, matches to wrestle, people to see and places to be, and it all starts tonight with that Mighty bird person himself, Sparrow.
I’ve had my eye on Sparrow for a long, long time- he’s excellent, he’s a proper, proper star. First time I saw a match of his it brought a tear to the eye of this old Traveller’s heart, it was that good. I’ve already had a run-in with the older sister- not a fan, has to be said, but I digress. I got a lotta respect for Sparrow, dude’s a Freedom Champ waiting to happen, and I can’t wait to see just how good he is.
She claps her hand together, a sparkly look in her eye.
Emery Layton: It’s a new week, it’s a new start and while there’s still a few things going on round here that could do with a change, I’m approaching it as a new chapter. So off we go!
And off we go. With a slight skip in her step, like a red-headed Pied Piper, Em leads us to the next segment.

Emery Layton vs Sparrow
Emery Layton vs Sparrow
RECAP These two had let it known how much they truly respect each other throughout the week, including their segments from tonight. This was one of the better, if not the best match of the night. Emery showed off not only her technical mat skills, but she also made sure to show off those high flier and lucha skills of hers as well; wanting to show the world that she can go toe to toe with Sparrow in that aspect of wrestling. But soon enough, The West Indian Whirlwind took control of the match with Leaf Hurricane (Counter Scorpion Kick followed by a Pele Kick). He then locked in Bass Reeves Special (Chickenwing Camel Clutch) and Emery struggled in the move. It looked like she was about to tap out but the savvy veteran found a way to wiggle free! Sparrow tried for an enziguri but Emery ducked it and then hit Sparrow with “Babooshka” (Pendulum Lariat)! She pinned but Sparrow kicked out. The fans were going absolutely nuts for the two fan favorites and Lily seemed to be enjoying herself from the announce table. Emery hit the top rope and she looked to go for The Prikasa (Top Rope Diving Cutter) as Sparrow stirred but a comment from Lily got Emery’s attention. She looked over at Lily and curled her nose. But this was enough of a distraction for Sparrow to get up and quickly scale the top rope before taking Emery out with a hurricanrana from the top rope! He then hit Emery with The Notorious K.I.C.K. - Standing Double Foot Stomp! He pinned her and picked up the three count. Lily, ringside, smirked as Emery, one of the people most outspoken of Lily’s actions, had taken the loss. BACKSTAGE
As the camera cut to the backstage area, it zoomed in, hyperfocusing on one thing and one thing alone. The Liberty Pro United States Championship. It took in the glistening gold, the shining silver, and the brightly coloured red, white and blue in the form of the stars and stripes, along with the dazzling jewels that adorned it. As the camera panned back, the highly sought after prize could be seen on the broad shoulders of one man, the man that it belonged to. The Champion. The Kraken. The Wrestling.
Brendan Samuels: They asked for a statement. They threatened and manipulated. They pulled their dirty tricks, spread their lies and conned their way towards a shot at this gold. They beat down and jumped attacked my family, then made an example of a man who should never have been in the position he was. Unskilled, ill equipped and blind to the damage you could cause. And then you scammed and conned your way against me, both of ye. Ye schemed an’ ye cheated, ye beat me down an’ tried to rob me of me dignity an’ me pride.
Brendan Samuels tilted his aviator glasses to the tip of his nose, giving a playful wink to the camera as he spoke on, calm and composed as he always was, a true iceman of professional wrestling.
Brendan Samuels: Ye asked for a statement… That was me statement.
He folded his arms, speaking slowly and purposely to the camera.
Brendan Samuels: Despite yer bravado, despite ye both acting like raiders on the high seas, an’ despite ye taking a couple of ill-gained, stolen victories from me… They are what they are. Stolen, an’ by those means they meant nothin’ in the greater scheme of things. Me victory over ye, Dante, an’ me successful championship defence against ye, Blyss… They more than anythin’ ye accomplished against me previously. So far away from that. Strip that away, strip it all away, all them things. What is there?
The camera zoomed in on his handsome features, that smug grin appearing on his face and those iceberg like eyes of his twinkling.
Brendan Samuels: The Sport of Professional Wrestling
He gave a sly wink to the camera, before pushing his shades back up.
Brendan Samuels: An’ that be why what I did, what I always do, means so much more than all those attacks, all those insults, all that ego. A clean victory, centre of the ring, within the confines of the rules of the sport. That is what matters. That be what earns championships. That be what earns the true attention. An’ that be how ye make a REAL statement about professional wrestling. I am here to wrestle. I am here to be the very best at wrestling. I am here, and I AM THE WRESTLING!
His voice suddenly boomed with unrivalled power, showing an unexpected aggression that even the camera person wasn’t expecting by the way they jolted. But soon enough, the storm halted and Samuels was calm as stillwater once again.
Brendan Samuels: An’ tonight I come to show that again, here as a proud Irishman holding the United States Championship in the most Irish city in all of the USA, an’ it means everythin’ for this ocean farer to be here tonight. A new cycle, an’ a new set of opponents wit’ a whole bunch of new challenges. The first one being Jack Graves, the Outlaw, the veteran of the independent Southern scene. A man who recently had to deal with one of the very same people that were trying to mess with me. An’ I saw yer match, Graves, an’ I saw what ye did an’ what ye be capable of. It was impressive, but what ye did that night was in a fight. Tonight, it will not be a fight… Tonight, it be all about The Wrestling.
He gave another grin, before turning sharply, taking his United States and Legacy Pro titles off with him, as the scene cut back to ringside.

BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to Dante Locke standing in front of a camera. His eyes seemed determined and intense.
Dante Locke: Tonight, I get to get my hands on the Freedom Champion. Well, I should say temporary Freedom Champ because that championship? It belongs on Blyss’ shoulder, not yours. You’re a nice placeholder though, Teej. And hey, I’ll admit, you got talent. But you can’t live up to someone like Blyss. Hell, you can’t live up to someone like me. That’s why when we’re out there? I’m going to make you fucking bleed and then? Then you’ll tap out. If you’re lucky, I won’t break your fucking arm out there. Maybe I’m feeling charitable? Maybe not.
Locke laughed and shrugged his shoulders.
Dante Locke: Nevertheless, I’m going to go out there tonight and show everyone how much of a fucking bitch you truly are. You call yourself The Crown Prince of Mid-Air? Well, get ready to lose all of that air because you’re fighting the Hellhound now and you’re going straight down to hell.

Jack Graves vs Brendan Smauels
RECAP Jack Graves made it known earlier in the night that Freedom was his show when talking to Marcus Black. Well, that was one Kraken, and now Jack was fighting the other Kraken of Freedom. The match was hotly contested with neither men wanting to give an inch towards each other. These two men come from vastly different backgrounds but one thing is for certain, they both know how to fight. Brendan’s slight size advantage started to come into play as he powered out of an attempted suplex from Jack and then hit one of his own. Coming down the entrance way with a bag of popcorn in hand was the newly signed Scott Dunn. The crowd was mixed on Scott as Samuels looked at him with confusion. Scott just yelled out, “Just enjoying the show with a front row seat, mate!” Dunn then sat down at the announce table next to Cassie North. This was enough of a distraction for Brendan for Jack to take back control and he leveled Brendan with Dinner Bell (Bullhammer elbow)! He dropped down for the pin! One! Two! NO! Samuels kicked out! Scott began to boo from ringside and Jack laughed off his antics. He went to pick up Samuels but Brendan hit Jack with a roll up! One! Two ! Kickout! They then got up to their feet and Samuels took back control when he hit Jack with Immram Buster - Slingshot Brainbuster! Could that be all she wrote? Samuels pinned and Jack kicked out JUST before the three count! Scott enjoyed this and let it be known. Brendan looked over at him with a stoic look and shook his head. Scott tossed popcorn toward the ring and told Brendan to do something impressive. Brendan turned his attention back to Jack but Graves had gathered his bearings and he fought back. Brendan soon gained control and went for his Mac Lir from the corner of his eye, he saw Scott holding the US Championship and examining it and this gave Graves his moment and he wiggled free. He then grabbed Samuels and NAILED The Hangman’s Call - “Hangman” Backbreaker (Chokeslam Backbreaker)!!! Jack pinned The Kraken and picked up the three count and the win. BACKSTAGE
The latest episode of Freedom continue as we fade to the back. Standing by in front of the Liberty pro backdrop is none other than the Freedom Champion, TJ Techniques. TJ is dressed to compete as he'd got his gear on and his Yankees fitted pulled down so that the fitted is shading his eyes.
TJ Techniques: It's crazy times in Liberty Pro. We got some moves goin' on. We got statements bein' made. We've even got ourselves some new champions. First and foremost, shout out to Bri Leigh Clark for knockin' Max Cerrano's arrogant ass all the way into Row Z. It couldn't have happen to a nicer guy and that Gotham Championship couldn't have gone to a nicer woman. I'm more than confidant that you'll carry that belt with pride and go down as one of the best.
TJ takes a moment to give his good friend a round of applause.
TJ Techniques: For me? Well, I walked into No Man's Land III as the Freedom Champion and as you can see here...
TJ reaches down and swings the Freedom Championship across his shoulder.
TJ Techniques: 'ol Glory is still mine. Now that's not to take away anything from Emery Layton or Scotty Latimer. If anything, I have to thank them. Those two? They pushed me. They made me step my game up. They forced me to reach down deep and fight for this.
TJ nods towards his championship.
TJ Techniques: That match made me a better wrestler. It made me a better champion and it's all thanks to y'all. Now I can't see too far into the future. But I just know we'll run it back someday. Whether it's another Triple Threat or some one on ones, we will run this back. You can best believe that. Our paths haven't crossed for the last time...
TJ's voice trails off before he continues/
TJ Techniques: However, tonight, Dante Locke, you and I will be crossin' paths for the first time in an official matter because you are up next. You have been tasked with answerin' the call. You have been tasked with takin' up the challenge of knockin' me off. Whether you do or don't remains to be seen. But know this. You and that woman you like to follow around like a lost puppy Blyss Lockhart? Y'all two like to think that you're the big shots here, right? Y'all like to think that you're the best things that have ever stepped foot through those doors, right? Y'all really think y'all got it like that, huh? Well, I'll tell you what. The fact that I have this title here means that I'm the big dog around here. My last name ain't Callaghan. But the fact that I've got this title means that I run shit over here. And it's gonna stay that way until someone take this title from me. Now, this match tonight? There's no championship on the line. But a win over me would go a good long way to you gettin' that shot. So it's just like I told you to other day. Come on, Dante. Come on with it. Let's see what you got, boy. Let me see if your ass can cash these checks that you're mouths been writin'. Let me see what Dante Locke's gonna bring, under the brightest lights, in the biggest spot, against Freedom's best. I wanna see if. Though word to the wise. You better act like this is a title fight. You better go out there and wrestle like you got nothing to lose. You better bring your best because if you don't? You will get dropped, you will get set straight and you will be sent to the back of the line.
TJ starts to walk off, but he quickly stops himself once he remembers something. He then turns back to the camera.
TJ Techniques: Oh, and by the way? After this match is done? After you go crawling back to Blyss? If she wants to run up and done done up, just have her name a time and place 'cause she can get it, too!

TJ Techniques vs Dante Locke
TJ Techniques vs Dante Locke
RECAP The main event was now here and TJ and Dante were actually out here alone. Once again, Dante must have asked Blyss to stay in the back. In the beginning parts of the match, Dante tried to wrangle TJ in, knowing how much of a threat he was due to his speed. If Locke could lock in one of his submissions, he could end this quickly. But Techniques knew better than to fall into Dante’s trap. He soon took control of the match when he hit a hurricanrana, followed by a running DDT. He pinned but Locke kicked out. TJ went for his Set ‘Em Straight (Busaiku knee strike) but Dante caught TJ in mid air and put him right into the Lock-Jawed (Coqunia Clutch)! Was it over? TJ struggled in the move but looked to be fading. Dante started to talk shit and this gave the Freedom Champion all the motivation he needed. He was able to maneuver around and get his foot on the ropes. Dante held on until the four count and then let go. The referee yelled at Dante and he simply held his hands in innocence. TJ wasn’t happy with whatever Dante said to him and he shoved him hard, and It was face first into the referee! TJ stood there shocked but Dante didn’t let this moment go to waste and he low blowed TJ with a kick. He then went outside and grabbed a chair. He went into the ring and waited for Techniques to stir but running down the ramp was Skylar Rayner! She slid into the ring and Dante went to swing the chair but she ducked it! She then kicked the chair into his face as Dante tried to swing it at her! This caused Blyss to enter the fray and she was furious! She took Skylar out with a spear and the two ended up tussling outside! Dante and TJ were both stirring in the ring and Dante tried another low blow but TJ dodged it. He then hit the ropes, came back and nailed Set 'Em Straight (Busaiku Knee Strike)! He dropped down onto Dante and pinned! One! Two! THREE!!! TJ wins! WINNER TJ Tecniques METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 15:23 FINISHING MOVE Set ‘Em Straight POST MATCH TJ was announced the winner but he had no time to celebrate, as Blyss, who had gotten ahold of the Freedom Championship on the outside and took out Skylar out there, now was in the ring with it and TJ didn’t see her coming. BANG! Blyss leveled Techniques with his Freedom Championship right in the head. Standing over him, Blyss looked down at the Freedom Championship and a sickening smile crossed over her face as she gripped the championship. She wanted it. No. She needed it. She raised it in the air over TJ, a foot on his chest as Dante was up now, looking at his girlfriend and nodding with a grin on his face. The show then closed with that shot. |
