LIBERATION: EPISODE ONE
LIVE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 12, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK

RINGSIDE
Nathan Callaghan was standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand, waiting for the cheers from the fans to die down. When they did, he began to speak.
Nathan Callaghan: Welcome to the first episode of Liberation, everyone. I have to say, looking at the card from top to bottom This show is STACKED. Im proud of the roster we have accumulated for the greatest city in show business. This roster is what New York deserves, its what it needs!
The fans cheered Nathan as he continued.
Nathan Callaghan: That being said, let me remind all of you how tonight is going to go. Every winner from every match on the card will be put in the main event in a battle royal. In this battle royal, the surviving competitor will end up being the first ever Liberty Champion. Now, I know there are other ways to crown a champion but I figured Why not give everyone a shot at it on the first night ever, am I right?
The fans cheered again as Nathan smiled and nodded.
Nathan Callaghan: Anybody could end up the champion. Alicia Lukas, Melissa Reeves, the returning Ashleigh Powell, Zeke Reed, Jacob Daniels, Michael Kelly, someone from The Society, someone new like Ivy Warner. Who knows! All I know is, its going to be huge. There are so many pieces in place tonight to make for a wild show and to set the groundwork for our future. So Sit back and enjoy the show. Enjoy your Liberation.
EARLIER TODAY
Becky Balfour: One nation...indivisible, with LIBERTY and justice .for all.
Becky Balfour is standing in the center, to her left and right are fellow members of #TheSociety, Seth Lawless, Warren Corbett, and the man that most only know as Larclan. In the far background are The Followers. The alley the group is in looks dirty, but they dont seem to care.
Becky Balfour: Liberty is fitting, but justice? What is justice? Is it wrestling in a company where our own opponents slander us, pretend that we are invisible, or that we are no viable threat to winning a match? Is justice being ridiculed day in and day out by people who pretend to know what we stand for? What is justice?
Seth smiles as he looks at Becky. Her words struck him as strong. He took a deep breath as he walked back and forth in front of their followers.
Seth Lawless: Beck, it doesnt matter what those fools think. I dont care what the Pride of Portugal says. We are going to walk out there and we are going to win. But I have a question. Am I getting paid for this or is it like that other company?
He shrugs his shoulders and laughs a bit at the subtle dig he made.
Seth Lawless: I kid, I just want some food.
Larclan steps up to the right of Seth, looking straight ahead, dead-eyed. The silence in the alley quickly broken as he looks up at the sky.
Larclan: Justice? In this world there is none. In this world there is only mindless people who believe. Believe in what exactly? That things can get better if you try? Work your way to the top? Cos the only thing the outsiders should believe in is The Society. See, after we defeat you three, especially the PROUD ONE... I shall set off on my own mission, to bring the Rocky Mountain Championship where it rightfully belongs. With us. So for those three fools who stand in our way I only have this to say:
SAVE YOURSELVES!
Stepping away from Seth, Larclan leans back first against the alley wall. Becky looks to her left and right at each of her family members.
Becky Balfour: Vitor, the Pride of Portugal said on Twitter that he couldnt speak about his teammates because he doesnt care about them. He then said he could beat us with one hand tied behind his back and with no partners. Funny. You three are thrown together. Exploring an unknown partnership with a disastrous fate awaiting you. Us? We are family. While you three struggle to gain the spotlight for each other, we will work as a team. A shot at the championship later in the night is on the line, and everyone knows that there is strength in numbers. When we get past Vitor, Tyler and Emily, we have the advantage of entering the main event together, fighting for one prize, a prize that I know any of us would be fine with another member of #TheSociety winning.
Becky steps forward, dropping to her knees in front of the remaining three members of the group.
Becky Balfour: We dont get the credit we deserve. We dont get the recognition we crave, but we do have your attention. Can you hear us now?
Seth smiles, and Warren can be heard chuckling slightly, before he opens his mouth for the first time.
Warren Corbett:Warren Corbett: For once, the ones who never had a voice - the ones that nobody listened to - theyre being represented. Before I met #TheSociety, and heard their message, I thought I was alone in this world. I thought Id always be treated unfairly. Ive learned my place in the world, being with my family, and spreading the message far and wide. We stand for the lost, the broken, the weak. No longer will I remain voiceless, no longer will WE remain voiceless.
Warren stepped back, spreading his arms to show the amount of people that had gathered there. Lawless cracks his knuckles and takes a deep breath and speaks again. He places a hand on Beckys shoulder as Becky turns her head to look at him.
Seth Lawless: Liberty Pro is going to be ours. We are going to take this company over. Simply put we are going to take a what is ours. Im done with people saying that Seth Lawless has lost a step. That Seth Lawless isnt as good as he used to be. That is why I am here to make a name for myself once again. And with you guys behind me it will be VERY easy to do.
He smirks again as he removes his hand off of Becky and kisses her forehead.
Warren Corbett: I wonder what kind of reaction well be faced with. Just what will they do when they finally understand that we arent pushovers. Just because they dont give us the time of day, or they choose not to recognize us, doesnt mean that we arent strong. We are many, and together we can do anything. We fight for what we believe in. Liberty Pro, is finally a place where we can put it all into action.
Warren nodded his head, rubbing his hands together like he was beyond excited.
Becky Balfour: Im sure everyone wants to know what we are going to bring to Liberty, and the answer is simple...change. Now, what kind of change? Well...thats for us to know, and for you all to find out.
Becky stands back to her feet and backs herself into the three men of the group as a few homeless men wander into the camera shot. Becky smirks and reaches down behind Larclan to show a trash bag. She rips the bag open and all of the members of #TheSociety reach in, grabbing a black t-shirt and tossing them to the homeless men and women until all of the shirts are gone. The homeless wander behind #TheSociety, along with The Followers and put the shirts on as all members of the group drop to their knees to show off the homeless, now clad in the shirts with #TheSociety across the chests.
Becky Balfour: We clothe the homeless, we feed the hungry .we change the world. Together. What is justice? WE...are justice. We are undividable and at Liberation we will stand tall together and one of us will walk out Liberty champion.
Seth, while kneeling beside Becky, interlocks his hand with hers.
Seth Lawless: Gold will look good around one of our waists. Now you can question us about the Battle Royal and say how will you guys work together in that match. Dont worry because united we stand united we fall.
With the final chilling words from Lawless, the camera flashes to black and white with all members of #TheSociety smiling before it quickly cuts to static.
MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH
Scarlett Highland vs. Larclan
As soon as the bell rang, the man known as Larclan charged across the ring and leveled Scarlett Highland with a clothesline. Larclan then pulled his t-shirt with #TheSociety logo on it off, and threw it at his fallen opponent. The referee told Larclan to step back as he removed the t-shirt from the ring. Scarlett made it to her feet and rubbed her jaw, but it was clear that the clothesline had rocked her as her legs appeared wobbly. Larclan nearly salivated as he walked a circle around the rookie, but Scarlett had other plans for him. As Larclan charged in for a forearm, he was sent backwards by a dropkick that connected square to the chest from Highland. Scarlett took the time to stand up, proud of herself with a smile and wave to the fans.
The fan interaction actually fueled Highland who hit a second and third dropkick as Larclan made it to his feet. A standing moonsault picked up a two count, but as Larclan kicked out, he managed to grab a hold of Scarlett's hair. A headbutt reeled Highland and a closed palm strike next sent her to the mat. Larclan went for a pin, and could have picked it up but he lifted Scarlett's shoulder from the mat at the two count mark. Smiling sadistically, Larclan stood to his feet and began kicking at Scarlett's face. She turned over to shield herself only to feel the boots to the back of her head. The referee stepped in to pull Larclan away, giving Scarlett a few seconds to recover.
Highland attempted a comeback, hitting a cartwheel splash in the corner, that was quickly followed up by a flying cross body, but the combination only generated a two count. Scarlett propped herself in the corner and as Larclan charged at her, she kicked her legs up, wrapping them around the head of her opponent. She went for her finish 'This Will Leave A Scar' (hurricanrana out of the corner), but instead was countered and planted to the mat with an aggressive powerbomb. Larclan waits for Scarlett to take her time to make it back to her feet and as she does, he moves behind her and locks in a sleeperhold. It isn't long before he takes her to the ground, wrapping both legs around her torso. Scarlett slaps the mat to signal a tap out.
WINNER: Larclan wins by submission @ 8: 57
As Scarlett continues tapping out, Larclan keeps the sleeper hold on and as the referee tries breaking it, unsuccessfully, Scarlett's hand stops moving. Seeing that his opponent has passed out, he unwraps his leg and breaks the hold finally, shoving her to the middle of the ring. Larclan stands over Scarlett as Becky Balfour, Seth Lawless and Warren Corbett make their way to the top of the entranceway and clap for their fellow member of #TheSociety on a job well done.
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut backstage to Cami McGatha and Wren Sweet; Cami is leaning against the wall and she sighs slightly as her eyes fall to Wren, who is leaning up and forward slightly, her phone held at an angle as she pouts for a selfie.
Cami McGatha: Uhh.. Wren
Wren holds up a finger, she then runs her hand through her long, wavy hair and checks her reflection, titling her head slightly for another shot, her full pouty lips protruding just a little as Cami sighs again.
Cami McGatha: WREN!
Wren slaps her hands down, locking her phone as she does and she turns to look at Cami now with a tense smile.
Wren Sweet: Cami, the lighting here is perf and I am TRYING to send Mace a snap okay, so can you just, like wait?
Cami leans in and snatched Wrens phone, holding it behind her back she shakes her head at her.
Cami McGatha: Could you take this seriously please?! Do you have any idea how mad my dad is going to be if we mess this up?! We need to make a statement from the beginning --
Wren interjects, another tense smile on her lips as she exhales slowly through her nose.
Wren Sweet: What do you think I've been doing? Whilst you were busy promising your new boyfriend that you can totes fight each other, I was getting us in the first ever Liberty Pro booked match-up! You're welcome, by the way.
Cami McGatha: Right and your mouth did its job in getting us noticed but now we have to prove to Mr. Callaghan
Wren thrusts her fingers in her mouth and makes an exaggerated gag at Cami referring to Nathan as Mr. Callaghan. Cami sighs again and stamps her foot slightly.
Cami McGatha: OHMYGOD WREN THIS IS SERIOUS OKAY?!
Wren Sweet: Relaaxxx its cry baby Brendan, like he's really a threat, I could beat him himself with a hand tied behind my back. We are being trained by literally some of the biggest names in the industry; we are the Legacies we don't have anything to prove: he has to prove he can hang with us, not the other way around.
Cami McGatha: But-
Wren Sweet: No buts Cam, I promise we are going to rock this match. It's what we were born to do, it's what we're destined to do and whether it's one Callaghan, two Callaghans or the entire flock of marginally good looking but unfortunately sparingly talented Callaghans we will end our night with our arms raised, because it's what we do.
Wren smiles and reaches over to grab her phone, pulling it free she clicks open the camera and leans in to Cami with a wink.
Wren Sweet: You worry too much Now, smile; this one's for my story.
Before Cami can say anything, Wren starts snapping away with her phone.
BACKSTAGE
The camera cut to the backstage area, where a little interview section was put together. Tim Anderson stood in the camera view with an expectant look on his face.
Tim Anderson: Hello, everyone, Im here with Zeke Reed, whos getting ready for his match tonight with Dick Lightning.
Awkwardly, he realized the name he just said, but he managed to stop himself from emoting too much on it. Zeke Reed came into camera view, wearing a full black suit. He gave Anderson an once over and squinted his eyes.
Zeke Reed: Whats wrong with his name?
Anderson looked over to the right, avoiding Zekes pensive gaze.
Tim Anderson: Uhm, nothing, its just--nevermind. We got questions that you have answers to. First and foremost, how does it feel being here? Youre the first signing to the company and now youre actually standing here on the show. It gotta feel nice, right?
Zeke pursed his lips slightly.
Zeke Reed: I guess so. The first signing to a new expansion in the CWC--
The Reed paused as he heard the roar of the crowd as they cheered him dropping the meme. Zeke did not seem to understand what was going, but he let them die out before he continued.
Zeke Reed: Anyways.
He cleared his throat.
Zeke Reed: That recognition alone comes with pressure. In addition to that, I have this whole Reed Dynasty legacy going on, but if you know anything about me. You know that I dont succumb to pressure like that. I dont agree to social norms of professional wrestling. If anything, Im the one making the pressure on everyone else. Take my brother in color, Lightning, for example. He understands that hes walking in with a Reed, but what he doesnt understand is what I stand for. Im not just a Reed. Im the Reed. Im the One Man Dynasty, because Im carrying my familys reputation on my back. While Aries, Bianca, and some of the others make us look bad sometimes, I got a responsibility to uphold. Cassius, a world champion right now, is doing his part. My half sister, Nicki, got herself a championship too in her development fed. So, its my turn to claim some gold for myself. What better way to accomplish that by coming in as Liberty Pros first signing and leave tonight as their first champion?
The crowd once again cheered loudly for Zeke, who understood this time why they were cheering.
Zeke Reed: Yeah, I might be a little brash, I might be selfish in some cases, but I know what Im about. You can see in just a few tweets. I stand up for my family, my race, and most of all, myself. I know theres some hot commodities that might make it to that main event, but we all know the stories. I dont believe in name value off gate. I believe in making a name for yourself in every new place you walk in. Hence why I speak the truth out to some inane Society or any of the well-respected people with their extensive resumes. I dont give a damn about all that. I give a damn about what Zeke Reed brings to the table. As Ive also said before, it doesnt matter how well I train or how much I add to my repertoire. Let me turn to the camera here and say it to the whole roster. Yall can probably hear me in your locker rooms.
Tim Anderson politely stepped away.
Zeke Reed: Im Zeke Reed and it doesnt matter if you got all the world championships in the world or the hype train rolling for you...tonight, all it takes is for me to stomp on your head. Watch how I do it to Lightning and try to come up with a strategy. Liberty Pros getting introduced to my movement. Im stomping out the whole world, and Im starting with every single one of you.
Zeke started to walk off as Anderson got back into frame.
Tim Anderson: Hey, Zeke, I had some more questions for you.
The man in question paused.
Zeke Reed: Ask me when I get changed.
MATCH TWO: BEAT THE CLOCK HANDICAPPED MATCH
The Legacies (Wren Sweet & Cami McGatha) vs. Brendan Callaghan (And Sean Callghan?)
The match started off with Cami taking on the larger Brendan Callaghan in the ring. Brendan easily overpowered Cami to the ground with a sleeperhold but Wren came in and broke it up. The referee made Wren leave the ring. Cami and Brendan both got to their feet and they battled back and forth before Cami hit Brendan with a surprise hurricanrana. Cami pinned but only got a one count. Cami picked Brendan up and looked to tag Wren but Brendan hit Cami with a northern lights suplex into a pin and he got a two count before Cami kicked out. Brendan waited for Cami to get up with his back turned to Wren and Wren reached into the ring and shoved her elbow into Brendans head. Brendan looked back at her in anger and this gave Cami her chance and she hit Brendan with a backstabber.
Cami tagged Wren in and Wren was relentless as she got on top of Brendan and delivered several right and left blows. Wren then got up to her feet and hit Brendan with a standing shooting star press into a pin. Wren got the two count before Brendan powered out of the pin. Brendan got to his knees and Wren superkicked him down. Wren pinned Brendan as the clock began to click to almost five minutes. Brendan kicked out. Wren tagged in Cami and they hit Brendan with a double suplex but as they did, the clock ticked to five minutes and Sean came running down to the ring. Sean slid in and he was a man on fire as he took Wren down with a clothesline before taking Cami down with a dropkick. Suddenly a voice could be heard and it was Nathan Callaghan at the top of the entrance way.
Nathan Callaghan: I hate to interrupt this match But I forgot to tell you one last thing. Wren and Cami also get partners at the five minutes mark and Well, here they are.
Brendan and Sean look at Nathan in shock and their father simply grins before Cody and Finn Brady appear from backstage and charge the ring. The match Sean and Brendan do their best to fight off the Brady Brothers but the numbers game becomes too much as Brendan is tossed to the outside. Wren is animated in the ring, yelling at Cody and Finn to get out of her ring and out of her match. Cody and Finn in turn listen and exit the ring and continue their assault on Brendan as Cami and Wren continue their attack on Sean Callaghan in the ring. Wren and Cami double team Sean, hitting their Demolition Decapitation finish before Wren covered Sean and picked up the three count.
WINNERS: The Legacies & The Brady Bros @ 6:49
Cami began to celebrate with Finn and Cody and an angry Wren Sweet grabbed Cami by the hand and pulled her away. Finn and Cody stood their confused before continuing to celebrate. Nathan still stood at the top of the entrance way and Brendan, who was now on his feet outside of the ring, began to yell at Nathan from across the arena. Brendan then went and checked on his brother Sean to make sure he was okay and Sean shoved Brendan away, clearly frustrated.
BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to find Alicia Lukas bouncing on the balls of her feet in her ring gear and a leather jacket, she shadow boxes throwing punches and a few kicks before turning her head at the camera with a grin.
Alicia Lukas: Well here we are. My hometown promotion right?. Since I moved to New York earlier this year I have been embraced by the area. I go to the gym and people approach me, I walk down the street and people stop me for a picture.
I signed here because I wanted a new company to ply my trade. I love the other places I'm in but that Liberty Pro title. That championship seems like something that needs a great champion. A strong champion with name recognition and even a little bit of...controversy
Alicia pauses with a smirk pulling up her two other title belts.
Alicia Lukas: Tonight I go out there and face Carina Eventide. A woman who is looked at as an artist. A woman who I know little about but have already seen make an impact. The winner of this match gets to go on into that battle royal for a chance to be the first ever champion. And not only that but we get to do it in the ICONIC hammerstein ballroom....do you know how big that would be for any of us?....the first episode of Liberation...the first champion...in a legendary building...
The strong style southern belle is ready to go...and ready to make history....
BACKSTAGE
The fans react positively to the next shot on their screen; that of one Ashleigh Powell, dressed for action, and putting her long brown hair up into a ponytail. She adjusts it so its just right, then smiles, her eyes shifting from herself in the mirror...to the camera angle shooting the mirror.
Ashleigh Powell: Its been 413 days, since a baseball bat upside my head was called the end of my career. Struck down before it ever reached the potential everyone said I had. Four hundred and thirteen days, and I cant tell you how many mornings I woke up, and had to make sure I knew what day it was.
She turns, facing the camera, the smile fading as she recounts the last year-plus of her life.
Ashleigh Powell: Four hundred and thirteen days, and how many times did I find myself...enveloped by what I could only describe to my family and doctors as like my brain was replaced with a white noise machine. How many nights did I sit, looking out at the stars, hoping...praying that my life could one day just be normal again? Never mind being in a wrestling ring again! Never mind trying to do what I love, what my father traveled the world to do, to try and simply BE part of that life? Part of that story?
Ashleigh shakes her head, closing her eyes. Her head droops slightly, and then she looks at the camera again; it didnt take much, but her eyes are already filling up, and one hand comes to her face to wipe her eyes clean as she continues.
Ashleigh Powell: Then...one day. And it sounds like the most ridiculous story ever, I know, but...that static. That white noise. Gone.
She laughs softly.
Ashleigh Powell: Christmas Day. And I was happy, I was content. Life was mine, for the taking, and I planned on it...until that bug got planted in my head. You know how it is, right? Once wrestlings in your head, its never leaving. Not until youre crippled or dead. So I built myself back up. From nothing, basically. New game plan. New battle scars. Until...now.
Ashleighs smile is slowly returning to her face as she continues.
Ashleigh Powell: Four hundred and thirteen days. And I cant begin to tell you how many times Ive dreamed about tonight. Thought about what it would be like, whether I could live up to the idea in my head of how it could go. And sure, theres the worry in the back of my mind, right up until Im in that ring...that this was all for nothing, and that I shouldnt have done it. But
Ashleigh reaches off screen, picking up...a mask. For long time wrestling fans, its the mask of her father and trainer, the original White Phoenix. She looks at it for a long pause, then at the camera.
Ashleigh Powell: ...What kind of daughter would I be if I didnt? Liberty Pro...theres a time and a place to die, but this aint it. See you out there!
She turns back to the mirror, still holding the mask and nodding as we cut away.
MATCH THREE: SINGLES MATCH
Alicia Lukas vs. Carina Eventide
The match started off with Carina playing up to the crowd as she straight away got them on her side. Alicia on the other hand waved them off and as the boos rained down in a chorus she simply flipped them off. The action was fast from the get go with Carina using her speed and lucha style to duck under and away from Alicia's strikes, including using a matrix style move to bend herself over and back and then handspring to wrap her ankles around Alicia's head taking her from the ring with a spinning headscissors.
Carina bounced to her feet and reveled in the crowd adoration throwing her hand in the air. She then went for a suicide dive out onto the larger Strong style southern belle. But Alicia was able to leap in the air and connect with a standing enziguri as Carina came between the ropes. Alicia would slid in the ring and start hitting german suplexes on her dazed opponent rolling her hips each time using her five foot eight frame to easily lift her smaller opponent up and down to the mat
Alicia would get cocky as she smiled at the crowd and yelled insults in their direction. Alicia went to hit a German release but Carina throw her body back and flipped to her feet. As Alicia turned on one knee Carina came in hitting a bicycle knee strike she calls the bubble burst. Alicia looked out and Carina got a two. She called for Alicia to get to her feet and picked her up on her shoulders in a great show of strength going for the Bubble Breaker Three. as Alicia was lifted though she shifted her weight catching Carina's leg as she went for the soccer ball kick
Alicia was able to trip Carina up and go for her standing inverted cloverleaf, but Carina was able to kick Ali off get to her feet and as Alicia tried to attack Carina hit a beautiful standing dropkick. As they both get to their feet Carina is able to maneuver her way into the leg trap sunset flip bomb called the Red cube on a white canvas. Carina again got a two count and Alicia looked out of it. Carina grabbed Alicia by the wrist and took her down before trying to lock in the Kiss of the morning star. Alicia was able to get to the ropes and Carina was forced to let go.
Alicia stunned Carina with her kneeling stunner causing the Morningstar to stumble back out of it, Alicia then picked her up for the Georgia drop slamming her knee into Carinas face before collapsing on her for the three count.
WINNER: Alicia Lukas win by pinfall @ 9:25
Alicia Lukas had her hand raised by the referee but she quickly pulled it away before yelling obscenities at Carina. Alicia then rolled out of the ring with a smirk on her face, advancing to the next round.
BACKSTAGE
The scene begins in the Benfica themed, large man cave of Vítor Mata which is seen for the first time by fans of Liberty Pro. The man himself, Vítor Mata sitting down on a couch in the middle if the room. He is reading something in a tan file, soon he casually throws the file on an ornate glass coffee table. The file has written in red marker in capital letters THE SOCIETY
Vítor Mata: Becky Balfour, Seth Lawless, Warren Corbett. The Society.
Vítor laughs, he's wearing sleeveless red Che shirt, with denim distressed and ripped jeans. He kicks up his Chicago Jordan 1s on his couch and continues to speak in a low commanding voice
Vítor Mata: They're only three of my opponents this week, on Saturday is when I fight them if I beat them I enter a battle royal for the Liberty Pro Championship, then I have a #1 contender match in Toronto the next day. I expect this to be a very lucrative week, I don't expect The Society to pose much of a threat. That being said this video is for Liberty Pro, and unfortunately since I don't know who I will fight in the battle royal in the exception of my two partners, Tyler Chandler, and Emily Jackson. I have to talk about these three righteous idiots. Luckily for me, I have no shortage of ammunition to fire at them, because they have given me some much on twitter. Let's start with the blatant lies about how I'm selfish and I don't care about my own people. Warren Corbett, let's start with you. You claim that The Society represents the Portuguese people that I don't. You say that when you have never stepped one foot on Portuguese soil. Actually all of you say that you represent the unrepresented, yet I doubt any of you have gone to support the refugees in The Middle East, or the poor and starving India and in many African countries, or the repressed people of China. I know why you won't help the Portuguese people, because you know, just like I know, that they will see you for the hypocritical charlatans that you are.
Vítor gets up from his couch, grabbing the file on from the coffee table as he does. He put the file under his arm and cracks his knuckles start with his left and ending with his right. He starts to walk towards the bar in his mancave positioned behind the couch and take seat on one of the 5 bar stools. The camera follows Vítor to the bar, Vítor takes the file from under his arm and places it on the bar stool next to him. He leans over the bar surface and get behind so he can grab a glass a bottle of Portuguese wine that has been uncorked already, so he pops of the cap and pours himself a glass of wine.
Vítor Mata: You guys don't care, you just want to be known. I asked Becky Balfour why she's using Professional Wrestling as a medium for this crusade. Of course she dodged the question. I know why she dodged the question, it's because she doesn't want to admit that she is self-centered and doesn't care about these people she supposedly protects. Everything I do in this sport, I do in the interest of the Portuguese people, every win, every championship, is for the Portuguese people. Only for them, I don't pretend to like other nations or people for those nations like you three do. Come Saturday on behalf of the Portuguese people, the greatest civilization on the planet. I will use my technical prowess and my MMA to slaughter the three of you, and then later on that night you'll watch as I win the Liberty Pro Championship.
Vítor takes a drink of his wine, then turns to the camera and grows that signature shit-eating grin from ear to ear as the video ends.
MATCH FOUR: SIX WAY TAG TEAM MATCH
The Society (Becky Balfour, Seth Lawless & Warren Corbett) vs.
Tyler Chandler, Emily Jackson & Vitor Mata
Becky Balfour and Vitor Mata start this six person tag match off. The two meet in the middle of the ring, both talking to each other. Becky then looks around the ring as 20 of 'The Followers' are all staring into the ring at the blonde. With confidence in her, she slaps Mata across the face hard to the surprise of the crowd. Vitor rubs his cheek with a grin, but after a moment the 'Pride of Portugal' hits the Eusebio Kick sending Balfour to the mat! Vitor goes for the cover but Seth Lawless is into the ring, breaking the count up at two and saving his fiancée from defeat.
Vitor remained in control of Becky as he lifted her from the mat by her hair and hit a lightning quick suplex. Not satisfied, he lifted her again and this time hit a german suplex, folding Becky up and holding on for a pin. Fortunately for #TheSociety, Becky's foot was near the ropes and Seth reached over, grabbing her foot and placing it on the rope, pointing it out to the referee who stopped counting. Vitor was furious as he knew #TheSociety had twice now saved Becky from defeat. Mata shouted at his teammates that they need to have his back, but as his back was turned, Balfour rose to her knees and hit a low blow on The Pride of Portugal as Warren Corbett had the referee distracted. Becky ascended to where she was seated on the top rope where she hit a missile dropkick on Vitor as he rose to his feet. Balfour picked up a two count after. As Becky picked Mata off the mat, he pushed her away and then hit a spinning forearm, sending her flying across the ring.
Vitor had the momentum when Emily Jackson reached over the top rope, slapping the back of Mata and forcing a tag. As Jackson entered the ring with a smile, Mata got into her face and began shouting at both Jackson and Chandler. The lack of focus by the team allowed Lawless to pull Becky towards #TheSociety corner, allowing her to make a tag to Warren Corbett. Corbett stormed the ring and leveled Jackson with a clothesline to the back of her head. Mata then stepped out of the ring and threw his hands up in the air, shrugging and walking towards the backstage area to a chorus of boos as he abandoned his team, making this a 3 on 2 match at this point.
Jackson fought back momentarily, but Corbett was too strong, hitting a running powerslam on Jackson. Corbett went for the pin but Becky Balfour yelled into the ring, instructing him that 'we aren't done' yet. Corbett followed her instructions, lifting Jackson up and this time hitting a stalling suplex that drove all of the air out of Emily upon slamming her down. Becky again gave orders, telling Corbett to now go for a cover. This time the cover only equaled a two count. Jackson showed tenacity, firing off lefts and rights from her knees to the stomach of larger opponent, staggering him enough to create space for herself to make it to her feet. Emily then ran and hit a spinning kick that sent Corbett back into his corner. He reached his hand up, tagging in Seth Lawless. Emily Jackson held her lower back and turned, tagging in former world champion Tyler Chandler.
Lawless wasted no time in running Chandler over with a shoulder tackle, shouting out "WE ARE THE SOCIETY" right after. Seth dropped an elbow onto the chest of Chandler, picking up a two count after. He waited for Chandler to rise to his feet and when he did, Lawless connected with 'Check Yo Teeth' a dropkick that caught Chandler straight in the face. Lawless then yanked Chandler up, tossing him into the ropes and hitting 'Detroit Is Burning' (pop-up powerbomb), planting Chandler to the mat and picking up the 3 count in the process.
WINNERS: #TheSociety by pinfall @ 14:08
As soon as the match ended, a disappointed Emily Jackson hopped off the ring apron, heading backstage. Tyler Chandler was out in the ring as Corbett and Balfour joined Lawless. Becky Balfour asked for microphone as three of the four members of #TheSociety stood over Tyler Chandler.
Becky Balfour: We told everyone that we were coming. We asked everyone to listen to us. We practically begged you to care, but you didn't. Instead, you focused on the beauty of Emily Jackson, the Pride of Vitor Mata, and the accolades of this one...
Becky pointed a finger down at Chandler, who began to stir until Becky instructed Corbett to put a boot to his throat, which he did.
Becky Balfour: We're not asking you to listen anymore. We're not asking you to pay attention. We are opening your eyes...tonight. Tyler Chandler and his team couldn't work together. They aren't family...they were victims.
Balfour snaps her fingers and the 20 Followers slide into the ring quickly, prompting the audience to hold their collective breaths.
Becky Balfour: Remove him from OUR ring...
The Followers yank Chandler from the mat and sling him over their shoulder.
Becky Balfour: Three down, one maybe for good. Liberty...you're officially on notice.
Balfour snaps her fingers again as The Followers exit the ring with Chandler, with Lawless, Corbett and Balfour right behind them, leaving the crowd stunned, and upset at what they just witnessed.

BACKSTAGE
The scene opens to the back where Jacob Daniels has his eyes locked on the mirror in front of him. He has on his wrestling gear and a baggy black, sleeveless shirt that has the Liberty Pro Wrestling logo with Beast Mode across the back of it. Daniels slowly closes his eyes and looks back into his reflection.
Jacob Daniels: Tonight, I make my Liberty debut. Tonight I get placed in yet another main event against yet another opponent that I've never heard of before this pairing was made. But for me? That doesn't mean much since the last two matches I've had for the FAW Hardcore Invitational were against first time opponents for me and I booted both of them to the sidelines. But I get it apples and oranges, all that shit. This is a new place with new people but I am still... That same Beast.
An almost sinister smile slowly forms on Daniels face now, as he keeps his eyes on the mirror.
Jacob Daniels: The same Beast that tore through the rosters of companies, leaving nothing but scraps and hurt feelings in his wake. The same Beast that has chased some of the bigger names in the industry out of companies for the fear of having to match up and being proven incapable of keeping up with him. That's the Beast that is now home in Liberty. That's why my name was placed at the top of the first ever episode of Liberation. I didn't need to use the names of those who trained me to get my foot in the door like the first of my opponents, Ivy Warner, has done. She might tell you that's not the case but look at her Twitter and tell me what she's got listed first there and you can see why she's in this match And it's not because of her known abilities.
Daniels lets out a small chuckle that is quickly followed by a slight sigh.
Jacob Daniels: Then we got the hometown boy, the Maestro of Strong Style Michael Kelly. Now the he can be the maestro of whatever he wants to be but he's not taken on someone that hits as hard, moves as fast and is as vicious as me. I'm sure you have faced those faster, stronger or bigger than you Michael Kelly, but have you faced someone that is all three? You're about to. I'm about to show you exactly who you are facing. You may want to say the whole Current champ. Former champ. It means absolutely nothing to me. And I'm more than happy to let that mean nothing to you. Do not fear me Michael, don't worry about me Don't let me words sway you. Because my actions in that ring will do all of those things.
He lets out an almost low growl as he smugly smiles at his reflection.
Jacob Daniels: Michael Kelly? Ivy Warner? Neither of them will beat me tonight in that Liberty ring. One is too focused on looking good for someone else and the other is too busy trying to look good for himself. Me? The only thing I'm going to be busy doing is winning and the only one that can beat me ?
Daniels turns from the mirror now and eyes up the camera with a stern look.
Jacob Daniels: Is the man in the mirror
Jacob then strikes the mirror with his fist, sending the broken pieces shattering on the locker room floor as the scene cuts out.
MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH
Romeo Black vs. Ashleigh Powell
The match began with both competitors meeting and shaking hands in the middle of the ring, before returning to their corners. Early on, the tide turned back and forth between the two; Romeos speed kept him one step ahead of Ashleigh, but the Phoenix Academy grads technical ability kept the pace from getting too far out of hand. The first real upper hand in the match came when Ashleigh got low bridged to the outside, where she was hit with a picture perfect, hands free tope con hilo! The crowd leapt to their feet, cheering The Neon Tiger on!
With his opponent neutralized, Black rolled her back into the ring and managed to get off Neon Lights, his double stomp/rolling elbow combo. That got two, and he kept the pressure up, using his speed to keep a steady flow of strikes coming at Ashleigh, who simply tried to weather the storm and look for an opening. That came in an attempt at his Rocket Kick discus big boot, which Romeo went for, only to find nobody home! Powell had fallen back ahead of the kick, down to the mat, and met him with a kip up dropkick to a roar from the crowd (and one extremely loud cowbell)!
From there it became a targeted attack, with Ashleigh zeroing in on the Limitless trainees right knee and back. If she wasnt dropkicking his knee, she was applying a move like her bow and arrow submission to wrench away at Romeos back. It looked to be slipping away from her when she found a DDT reversed into a northern lights suplex, but Powell kicked out at two, dodged a charge into the corner, and hit one of her own! But it was a surprise when she rolled backward through her bridge, grabbed her opponents legs, and wrapped him up in the ZETA-16! The angle was high, the knee was in place on Romeo Blacks neck, and he had no choice but to tap out!
WINNER: Ashleigh Powell by submission @ 6:23
The match ended and Ashleigh Powell had her hand raised by the referee. Romeo got to his feet and he was clearly frustrated. They two competitors looked at each other before Ashleigh extended her hand. The two shook hands and the fans cheered.
BACKSTAGE
Tim Anderson: And were back here with Zeke Reed, who will hopefully finish my interview.
Zeke stepped back into the shot with his ring gear on.
Tim Anderson: I wont keep you long as youre about to go to war with Dick Lightning? Do you think you can weather the storm?
When Anderson spoke the pun, Zeke gave him a disappointed glare and started to walk off ala James Harden, but Anderson gave chase.
Tim Anderson: Sorry about that. I like to--
Zeke Reed: Yeah, whatever.
Zeke readjusted accordingly.
Zeke Reed: Weathering the storm...yeah, thats not the best choice of words. The question is that Dick Lightning will have to face the storm of me. Everyone here will have to do that. Especially since Im about to go out there and earn my spot in the main event. After that, Ill come here, drink some water, and then Ill get ready to go out there and win the Liberty Championship. I promise. I PROMISE YOU, thats what happening.
Tim Anderson looked on with a slight wonder. Zeke nodded at him and patted him on the shoulder.
Zeke Reed: Thanks for being patient, man.
Zeke started to head off, but Tim stopped him again.
Tim Anderson: So, Zeke, there are a lot of top talent that can make it to the end. You might not make it to the end to begin with. So what will you do if you lose?
This time, its warranted. Zeke gave Tim another one of the James Harden glares before going off to his match.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage and Melissa Reeves is stood by alongside Tim Anderson.
Tim: Melissa, its been a while.
Reeves nods and smiles.
Melissa: Here we are again, though.
Tim: Indeed. Now, tell me about tonight. Earlier on we saw you defeat Andi Michaels. Its fair to say that was a personal match. Thoughts?
Melissa shrugs.
Melissa: Wasnt personal for me. Work is work, Tim, you know that. As for the match itself...I did what I came here to do. One match, one win.
Tim: Which, of course, means you will enter the evenings main event match, with the possibility of winning the Liberty Championship. What would that mean for you?
She beams with a wide smile as she thinks on her reply.
Melissa: Winning the gold on day one? Being the only competitor to go 2-0 in the first night? Thats the sort of thing I live for. Thats how you make an impact in a new company and that is how you show that you are the person who is fit to lead the way. Now, will it be easy? No, of course not. Nothing ever is. This is why I train obsessively, why I study, why I learn and improve...so that I can take opportunities like this and grab them with both hands.
Tim: Who is the main threat in the match?
She shrugs.
Melissa: Theyre all threats. Nobody got there by accident, nothing is free. Itll take my A-game to win, to capture the gold...but thats fine, my best is all I ever bring!
With that she smiles again and walks off camera.
MATCH SIX: SINGLES MATCH
Zeke Reed vs. Dick Lightning
The opening part of the match starts with the two wrestlers trying to get a feel for one another. Zeke Reed tries for a lock up in the center of the ring, but Dick Lightning steps back and starts dancing to the crowds delight. As he busts a move, Zeke looks almost embarrassed to be sharing a ring with him and goes after Dick with a clothesline attempt. Lightning impresses everyone as he hits the splits, ducking the clothesline in the process, and popping up for a pimp slap! Trying to one up him, Reed just decks Lightning with a hard jab to the chin. Reed rushes Lightning into the corner and starts to unleash a combo on Dick in the corner before the referee forces a break. One that isnt exactly clean as Zeke slaps Dick right across the face as he steps back.
Its a real back and forth affair as Reed tries to control Lightning by keeping him close and throwing punch after punch. Though Lightning manages to keep his distance with his high flying antics, sending himself and Reed flying across the ring. Dick jumps on the apron and looks to come back in the ring with a springboard, but Zeke catches him in the air with an uppercut! That blow sends Dick right on his back and Zeke hooks the leg, but just for a one count. Dick is still reeling from the uppercut that Zeke gave him as Reed lifts Lightning back up and wrenches his arm behind his back with a hammerlock. Zeke drives his elbow into the back of Dicks head and hits a back suplex. Continuing his targeting of the head, Reed holds Lightnings arm out to allow him to drive his elbow into the side of Dicks face repeatedly.
After a few more strikes, Reed releases the hold and tries for another pin, but only gets a two this time around. Obviously upset about not being able to put Lightning away, Reed gets right up in the referees face and starts yelling at him, holding up a clenched fist in anger. As he does this, Dick recovers and hits a dropkick on a turning Zeke. Flying back into the corner, Reed is hit with a big body splash from Lightning that drops him down in the corner. Dick hypes up the crowd by hitting The Whip before he comes running in with a bronco buster! As he rolls back, he finishes up his dance sequence with The Nae Nae. The fans in the crowd are going wild for Dick as he lifts Zeke up and sets him up for a hangmans neckbreaker, gyrating for the crowd, but Reed gets free, twisting Lightning around, and kicking him right in the stomach. Lighting doubles over as Reed lifts him up as he Shot The Devil Dead! The vertical suplex stunner sends Dick flying and Zeke goes for the pin, picking up his first win in Liberty.
WINNER: Zeke Reed by pinfall @ 10:34
The referee grabbed Zekes hand and lifted it in the air in victory. Zeke pulled his hand away before motioning his hands around his waist, letting the ground know that he was aiming to become the first ever Liberty Champion.
BACKSTAGE
The camera jumps to Isabella Strickland sitting in the back, putting on a knee brace on her right knee. She lifts her head up and stands, stretching out her leg in the process. As she rises up, the camera has to pan up a bit and a smirk appears on Isys face.
Isabella Strickland: Some of you may know me...some of you may not...but I can promise that after tonight? You wont forget me. Ive traveled across the globe and Ive wrestled just about everywhere you can think of...but its here in New York that I get to really make a name for myself. The opportunity to become the first ever Liberty Champion. In our business, its never a guarantee how much youve got left and I see that clock ticking away for me every single day...but Im not backing down from it. To me? Thats just another obstacle to overcome.
A brief wince on Stricklands face; the thoughts of her past coming back for just an instant.
Isabella Strickland: And thats what my entire career has been built on. First thing everyone says about Isabella Strickland...look how tall she is. But every time I step into that ring, I show that Im more than just a tall girl. I show that Im one of the best in the world. Ive done nothing, but dedicate my entire life to this craft. My free time goes to helping rookies and anyone wanting to learn. Wrestling is my life.
Isabella uses a hand to beat her chest a few times, right over her heart.
Isabella Strickland: So when I look across the ring and I see Avery Smith...I just smile. I see a woman with nothing, but a bright future ahead of her. Unfortunately...Averys still got a way to go. Ive trained a lot of young wrestlers and I know all they have to offer...whatever youve got for me, Avery? Ive seen it before. Youll put up a hell of a fight, you might take me to my limit, but Avery, Im winning that Liberty Championship tonight. No one is getting in my way. Not you...not anyone else.
She takes a few steps closer to the camera, looking right into it. Nothing, but fire and intensity in her eyes.
Isabella Strickland: Im making Liberty Pro my home and Ive got to make my mark. As long as business is good...Im here for a long time. Im here to take New York over.
The confident smirk from earlier returns as Isy looks right into the camera.
Isabella Strickland: And when the night is done...youll remember one thing. Isabella Strickland, first Liberty Champion.
She winks before making her exit from the scene; the camera cutting elsewhere in the arena.
MATCH SEVEN: GRUDGE MATCH
Melissa Reeves vs. Andi Michaels
The match began with a slightly nervous looking Andi Michaels getting into Melissa Reeves' face. Fair to say there is no love lost between the women outside of the ring. For her part Melissa seemed to only say a few words, instead letting the forearm she drove into Andi's temple do her talking for her. She pummeled Andi a few times, forcing her down to one knee, before Michaels lifted Reeves and charged, slamming her back into the turnbuckle.
From there, Andi shoulder tackled Reeves a couple of times, looking to wind her, before pulling her out for a running bulldog - which missed when Reeves shrugged the headlock off. Andi landed on her backside and stood, but walked straight into a front dropkick and was sent backward to the turnbuckle, slumping down into the corner. Reeves stood and charged, launching into a handstand on the top rope before rotating her legs downward into a corner drop kick. Melissa rolled backward out of the move and stood, blasting Andi with a knee to the face.
She pulled her opponent from the corner and made the pin, scoring a two. Reeves quickly stood and pulled Andi up, but was caught with a Samoan drop. Andi took a few seconds to recover before standing again. She stomped on Melissa's shoulder before rolling her to her chest, looking for a Not a Chance (STF) that never connected. Reeves wriggled free and stood, kicking Michaels with her stiff, quick strikes. An Irish whip saw Andi arm dragged on the rebound.
Melissa went for a hip toss but Michaels dodged into an arm drag of her own. As Melissa moved back closer, Andi attempted her AKO superkick, but Reeves dodged. Michaels turned back toward Reeves but got caught off guard with the Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) out of nowhere. Andi flopped down to the canvas, hard, and Melissa was quick to make the cover, picking up the three count.
WINNER: Melissa Reeves by pinfall @ 6:33
The crowd roared as Melissas hand is held high in victory. Melissa gave Andi a nod and thumbs up for the match before she rolled out of the ring and headed up the entrance way, preparing for the main event.
BACKSTAGE
Ivy Warner walks into the catering room, still dressed in her street clothes; a pair of fitted blue jeans and a cropped white lace shirt that shows off her toned stomach. She looks around for a moment before her face lights up with a smile and she bounds across the room, stopping just short of running all the way into her mentor.
Ivy Warner: TYSON!
Tyson Gregory laughs slightly as he turns to face Ivy, a smile on his own face that almost matches hers as she looks up at him, moving side to side and jiggling from foot to foot.
Ivy Warner: I, can't believe you're actually here! You came! OMG!
Tyson Gregory: You didn't think I'd miss this did you Ive?
He leans in and gives her a quick hug which she returns, as he pulls back she lets out a small, slow sigh and shakes her head. Shaking her hands out at her side she bites at her bottom lip.
Ivy Warner: No. No Course not, I um.. I just mean, I don't know, I guess I wasn't a thousand percent sure you were gonna be here. Did you know Collin is here?!
Her eyes go wide as she says that, causing Tyson to chuckle as he nods his head.
Tyson Gregory: He mentioned something yeah, but listen Ivy You need to concentrate on your match tonight; this is your shot, it's everything you have been working for
Ivy Warner: I know. I mean, wow, jeez talk about pressure huh? As if it weren't enough I got signed and you're here, I'm in the freakin main Event Ty! The main Event with Jacob god damn Daniels
Ivy shakes her head as though in disbelief and lets out a whistle of a sigh before laughing slightly.
Ivy Warner: I just want to make you proud of me Tyson; you've done so much for me given me so much time, showed so much faith in me and I just - I don't want to let you down.
Tyson Gregory: Hey, listen to me
He places both his hands on her shoulders and leans in slightly with a small smile, his eyes locked on hers as she nods slightly.
Tyson Gregory: You go out there and you do your absolute best and I promise I will be proud of you no matter what.
MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH
Isabella Strickland vs. Avery Smith
The match begins with a test of strength as Isabella Strickland holds her hand up high, a bit higher than what Avery Smith can reach. Avery jumps a few times, but cant grab onto Isys hand. Instead, Smith kicks Strickland in the stomach and as she doubles over, Avery drops her head first with a snap DDT. Planting her knee against Isabellas head, Avery tries to keep her larger opponent on the mat and rolls over for a grounded sleeper hold. The sleeper is locked in pretty tight, but Isabellas strength is displayed as she starts to stand up! Strickland gets on her feet and drives back into the corner, forcing Smith to release her sleeper. Leaving Smith stunned in the corner, Strickland tries ending it early with a bicycle knee, but Avery rolls out of the way, popping behind Isy for a German suplex!
A decent portion of the match sees Avery Smith trying to lock down Isabella Strickland with a variety of submission attempts, mainly focusing on Stricklands legs. At one point, Avery finds herself applying a single leg Boston crab to the weakened right leg of Isabella. Isy manages to climb over to the ropes and force a break. Smith backs up for a second, stalking Strickland who is kneeling with the assistance of the ropes, and Avery flies in with a high knee known as the Goal Line Clearance right to the side of Isabellas head! Smith hooks the leg, but the count is broken at two as Strickland grabs onto the rope yet again. Averys a bit frustrated, slapping the mat, but not wasting any time as she pulls Isabella away from the ropes. Mounting her opponent, Smith starts to lock in her gogoplata that she calls the Natural Disaster in the center of the ring!
Strickland looks to be in real danger, but she holds on and starts to lift Smith up! Isy has Avery up in a powerbomb position and walks her over to the corner, dropping her against the middle turnbuckle rung! Trying for a quick pin, Isy only gets a two count for her effort. Smith staggers back to her feet and Strickland is there with a waist lock. Avery drives her elbow back into Isys head a few times, but Strickland holds on and sends Smith flying with a German, but Avery lands on her feet! She falls back into the ropes and as Isy turns around, she gets dropped with the One Hit Wonder! The pendulum lariat knocks Isy back onto one knee and Avery bounces off the ropes, looking for another high knee, but only gets a Hellfyre Lariat!
The lariat turns Avery inside out and Isabella falls down for the pin. One! Two! Thre-NO! Smith kicks out at the last possible second! Isy looks at the referee in shock and then back at Avery, walking over and lifting her up. A knee to the stomach doubles Smith over and Strickland lifts her up in a vertical suplex position. The weakened leg of Strickland comes back into play as she struggles to hold Smith up, but Isabella is able to bring Avery crashing down with the Lady Death! The vertical suplex piledriver puts Smith down and Strickland rolls over to hook the arm and leg, picking up the pinfall victory.
WINNER: Isabella Strickland @ 12:24
The referee went to raise Isabellas hand in the air but Isabella ignored him before rolling out of the ring and heading up the ramp, clearly she was all business right now.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cut backstage to Sean Callaghan walking towards his car in the parking lot with his brother, Brendan Callaghan, giving chase.
Brendan Callaghan: Wait, Sean! I didnt know! Im sorry!
Sean scoffed and turned around.
Sean Callaghan: You didnt know? You fuckin serious, Brendan? You been asking for this. You keep going after dad and I keep paying for it. I love you. I love dad. I cant do this anymore.
Sean shook his head.
Brendan Callaghan: I understand but come on Sean, Im just trying to get dad to accept responsibility for his shortcomings. Why am I the only one who cares? Why am I the only one whos standing up for this family?
Seans gaze narrowed on Brendan before he rolled his eyes.
Sean Callaghan: You wanna know why?
Sean stepped up to Brendan and laughed.
Sean Callaghan: Youre the only one who cares anymore. The rest of us have accepted it and move on. You should too.
Sean scoffed again before turning around and walking away and Brendan called out.
Brendan Callaghan: Im not giving up on this! Not on you, not on dad accepting his faults, not on anything!
Sean waved off Brendan and the scene cut out.
HEADLINE: TRIPLE THREAT
Jacob Daniels vs. Ivy Warner vs Michael Kelly
The match began with a very fast pace with all three competitors exchanging blows. As time wore on, all three competitors managed to get in their own fair share of offense but Ivy and Michael temporarily banded together, knocking the powerhouse that is Jacob Daniels to the outside of the ring.
With their attention now on each other, Ivy and Michael proceeded to battle it out. Ivy used her speed to gain the advantage as Michael went for a clothesline but Ivy ducked under it and took him down with a crucifix pin. Ivy got a two count before the larger Michael kicked out. Ivy waited for Michael to get to his knees and she charged him, looking to drive her knees into his face. Michael countered and caught her before lifting her up for a sitdown powerbomb which he executed to perfection Michael then turned it into a pin.
Jacob Daniels returned to the fold, still relatively fresh, and wiped Michael out with a running boot to his face. JD then eyed the turnbuckle before he climbed it, ready to show off his athleticism despite his how big he is. When Michael Kelly got to his feet, JD leaped off and went for a diving clothesline but Michael countered and dropped him with a superkick to the jaw. As Michael looked to capitalize, Ivy tried to take him off guard, which she did as she dropped Michael with a hurricanrana driver. Ivy attempted a pin.
The attempted pin was stopped at two, when Jacob dove in to break it up. For a moment all three competitors were down. Jacob and Michael were first to their feet. Michael ducked a clothesline from Jacob and rebounded to deliver a running lariat. Ivy leaped in, landing a dropkick that sent Kelly flying backward into the turnbuckle. Michael staggered forward and Ivy dropped her with a enziguri. Ivy went to climb the turnbuckle but as she got to the top, Michael got back to his feet and charged Ivy before knocking her down and she took a nasty spill to the outside of the ring.
Michael looked down at Ivy outside of the ring in concern and this gave JD the chance to take advantage. JD attacked Michael from behind, rolling him up into a pinfall attempt which was stopped at two when Michael kicked out. Jacob argued with the referee, telling him it was a three count. When JD turned, Kelly charged at him and took him out with a Date With Desti-Knee. Michael Kelly pinned JD but JD managed to get his foot up on the ropes right before the referee could get to the three count.
Michael looked to be shocked. He stood and stalked over JD. Michael stepped back, ready to hit JD with another one of his Date With Desti-Knee moves that drives his knee into his opponents face. JD stirred and Michael charged but before Michael could complete the move, Ivy slid back into the ring and she leaped in the air, grabbing Michael by his head and hitting an FC Cutter out of nowhere. Before Ivy could make the pin, JD took her out with Bombs Away (Scoop Lift Spun Out into a Reverse STO) and she went rolling out of the ring before JD pinned Michael and picked up the three count, leaving JD to advance to the battle royal coming up next.
WINNER: Jacob Daniels @ 11:10
JD had his hand raised in victory and he then walked to the corner and leaned back into it, waiting for the main event to begin as he knew he had his work cut out for him in the battle royal being the one with the least amount of rest.
MAIN EVENT: BATTLE ROYAL FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Jacob Daniels vs Melissa Reeves vs Zeke Reed vs Becky Balfour vs.Seth Lawless vs Isabella Strickland vs Ashleigh Powell vs Warren Corbett vs Alicia Lukas vs Wren Sweet vs Cami McGatha vs Finn Brady vs Larcan vs Colt Brady
The battle royal started out with a frenetic pace and there were immediate alliances. The four members of The Society grouped together as Wren and Cami stood together, along with the Brady Brothers. The Brady Bros and The Legacies agreed to team together but Wren Sweet ended up grabbing Colt Brady and throwing him over the ropes, eliminating him from the match. Cami looked at Wren in shock as Wren just eliminated Cami McGathas boyfriend. Finn Brady looked to shove Wren over the ropes but as the two battled it out, Cami lifted them up and eliminated them both. She looked down at Finn and Wren in shock as she had only meant to eliminate Finn.
As Cami stood there in shock, she was met from a big boot to the back of the head from Isabella Strickland and it sent her flying over the ropes, thus eliminating The Brady Bros and The Legacies from the Battle Royal. The four members of The Society had Jacob Daniels cornered and down on the other side of the ring and they were completely working him over. The lifted him up and tried to eliminate him but he refused to go over. Ashleigh Powell and Melissa Reeves both jumped into the fight, pulling Seth Lawless and Becky Balfour off of JD. Ashleigh then dropped Seth with a drop kick to his knee which dropped him to his knees. Ash then grabbed his head and dropped him with a nasty DDT.
Meanwhile, Melissa Reeves and Becky were battling it out. Becky grabbed Melissa by her arm and tried to pull her into her for a clothesline but Melissa ducked it. When Becky turned around, Melissa leaped in the air and took Becky down with a Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker). Larcan and Warren Corbett continued to try and eliminate Jacob Daniels but were having no luck. On the other side of the ring, Zeke Reed, Alicia Lukas and Isabella Strickland were in a three person battle. Isabella clotheslined Alicia over the ropes but Alicia held on, staying in the match. Zeke then grabbed Isabella and lifted her in the air, hitting her with his vertical suplex stunner.
Jacob Daniels meanwhile finally free himself of Larcan and Warren. Jacob set up Larcan for a suplex but Warren charged him. As Warren got to JD, JD lifted his foot in the air and dropped Warren with a big boot. JD then lifted up Larcan with the suplex and suplexed him out of the ring and the fans went wild at the sight of it. JD then set his sights on Zeke Reed, who he took down with a spear. Isabella Strickland made it back to her feet and her and JD began to battle it out back and forth. Isabella then thumbed JD in the eye and dropped him with a neckbreaker. Alicia began to attack Isabella, jumping onto the larger womans back. Isabella showed off her strength by flipping Alicia off of her and over the ropes but once again Alicia held on. Isabella turned around, thinking she eliminated Alicia.
Jacob was now back on his feet and he charged at Isabella and right as he clotheslined her, Alicia, who was standing on the apron, pulled the top rope down and Isabella went flying over, being eliminated from the match. Corbett recovered on the other side of the ring and he tackled down Melissa Reeves, who had been on the offensive with Becky Balfour. Warren and Becky began to beat Melissa down together but Ashleigh Powell came over to help Melissa and she began to battle with Becky. This gave Seth an opportunity to get to his feet. Seth charged into the mayhem and the three Society members were too much for Ashleigh and Melissa as they began to beat them down.
JD and Zeke both came into the picture as Alicia Lukas hung back and watched the mayhem. JD dropped Seth with a clothesline before Zeke took out Warren Corbett with an enziguri. Jacob then grabbed Becky Balfour and tried to push her over the ropes but Seth grabbed Beckys feet from the ground, keeping his partner planted. Ashleigh Powell got back to her feet and she dropkicked Jacob from behind and it sent Jacob and Becky over the ropes but only Jacob was eliminated as Warren got to his feet and caught Becky Balfour by her hand and pulled her back into the ring. JD began to yell up at Ashleigh in frustration and as his words distracted Ash, Alicia Lukas came up behind Ashleigh and threw her over the ropes, eliminating her, thus leaving the three members of The Society in the ring with Melissa Reeves, Zeek Reed and Alicia Lukas.
The unlikely trio of Melissa, Zeke and Alicia stand together across the ring from Warren, Seth and Becky. As Melissa and Alicia move forward, Zeke grabbed Alicia from behind and then threw her out of the ring, eliminating her and showing that this match really is every man or woman for themselves. Melissa and Zeke charged and Melissa took out Becky while Zeke took down Seth. Warren pulled Zeke off of Seth and he began to shove knees into his gut. Melissa got up to her feet and she nailed Seth with an enziguri to get him off of Zeke. Lawless stumbled backwards and Melissa then ran up and clotheslined him over the ropes, eliminating him and leaving the match up to a two on two now. Zeke tried to grab Melissa and eliminate her but Melissa threw Zeke over the ropes but he held on.
Melissa tried to push Zeke down but he was relentless. Warren Corbett was now up to his feet and he charged at Melissa. Melissa saw him coming and she moved out of the way and Zeke pulled the rope down and Warren went flying over. Melissa put her attention back on Zeke and tried to shove him off the apron again but Becky was back up to her feet and she lifted up Melissa from behind and shoved her over the ropes and it knocked Melissa out and also took out Zeke. With both competitors eliminated, the bell rang and Becky Balfour was announced the winner and the new Liberty Champion.
WINNER AND NEW LIBERTY CHAMPION: Becky Balfour @ 27:42
Beckys music began to play as Nathan Callaghan entered the ring and handed her the Liberty Championship. Becky shook Nathans hand and Nathan exited the ring to let her celebrate. Warren Corbett, Seth Lawless and Larcen all entered the ring and began to celebrate the victory with Becky before the ring was suddenly filled with the twenty or so followers of The Society. The Society members and their followers lifted Becky in the air and she raised up the belt with her hands as the fans booed and that was the closing shot of Liberation: Episode One.
