MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Callie Buchanan vs NV Payton
Callie Buchanan vs NV Payton
RECAP This match wasn’t even close. Why? Because Callie did something dirty again as she wasn’t happy about being in the first match of the card once again. As NV made her entrance, Callie attacked her and beat her down. She then forced NV into the ring and demanded the referee to start the match. The referee relented and did so and NV tried to make a comeback but Buchanon’s sneak attack was too much and she soon ended the match when she nailed Calli-Fornia Dreaming (Regal Knee) before pinning and getting the three count. BACKSTAGE
Kendrick is seen walking around with a chair in his hand that has a pronounced dent in it. He smirks as his manager Chrysalis is walking by him.
KENDRICK KROSS: Chairs can be used for multiple things but I like using them for one specific thing. It’s actually quite a beautiful thing too.
Still with chair in hand Kendrick keeps walking down the hallway.
KENDRICK KROSS: Specifically like I did last week. Causing Karen her match. It was nice. Though her doing what she did? That wasn’t. That was a mistake. I hit her with a chair to get even. But she caused big problems after she decided she needed to come out and not even let me have my match like I should have.
CHRYSALIS: Big mistake! Not one that she’ll live down easy either.
Kendrick looks at Chrys and then stops in front of the storage closet for a moment.
KENDRICK KROSS: This specific chair was used to hit Karen with, as you can see by the dent. The one that I got even with. I hope you remember the sting of that Karen. Me causing you to lose by using this very chair.
Kendrick raises it up for the camera to see the dent.
KENDRICK KROSS: I bet this one has given you nightmares the past week. And don’t think that nightmare is going to end after tonight. Because it’s not.
Kendrick smirks as he begins his walk down the halls again.
KENDRICK KROSS: You got into my business and tried to act as if you have any right to the Noir Championship or if you earned a shot. Well Karen, you didn't. I earned that shot. I am the one that actually won the battle royal while you celebrated early. That’s all your fault. So you have no one to blame but you for losing out on a guaranteed shot at it.
Just like you lost out on that you’re going to be losing this match. You’re going to learn that getting in my business isn’t something you should do. And it isn’t something that is going to be thought of as nice.
Hope you are ready to be laying on the mat Karen. Because that’s exactly where you’re going to be. And I’ll prove to everyone exactly why I’m better than you.
Kendrick smiles as he continues walking down the hall while the camera fades.

BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts backstage, to the familiar clanking of metal plates. As the camera turns, there’s Jackal, curling light weights to warm herself up before her match. She breathes slowly, purposefully, her eyes set ahead, but it’s clear that she’s still listening to the words of Chloe Collins, who sits nearby.
Chloe Collins: “-so you may want to watch out for that. It shouldn’t be anything you can’t handle.”
Mason gives a small nod.
Madeline Mason: “I’m starting to get used to this whole wrestling thing. The preparation is the easy part.”
Chloe Collins: “You read the file, I hope?”
Madeline Mason: “As always. Big shot in Mexico. I’m sure if the techs dug around, they could find something shady there-”
Chloe Collins: “Oh I have no doubt. But he isn’t our problem. Get through your match tonight, that’s as much as we need to concern ourselves with him. Beyond that, we have our own work to do.”
Madeline Mason: “Callaghan.”
Chloe gives a nod of her own.
Chloe Collins: “Where are we at with him?”
Madeline Mason: “He’s been keeping a closer eye on me lately. Thinks I’m up to something.”
Chloe Collins: “As he likely should. People tend not to like it when they’re under investigation.”
Madeline Mason: “You’d think he’d be making my job harder. Anyone else, he starts throwing them to the wolves, doing whatever he can to make their lives miserable. He’s vindictive. Acts in the heat of the moment.”
Chloe Collins: “You think pairing you with Xavier Laroux wasn’t some sort of punishment?”
Madeline Mason: “We kept winning.”
Chloe Collins: “Your ability to work with anyone doesn’t mean the intent wasn’t there. Putting you with someone who’s attacked you in the past and doesn’t trust SABER… no doubt he expected retaliation from you, or that the two of you wouldn’t gel.”
Madeline Mason: “Or he could be poking to see how SABER would react.”
Chloe Collins: “Possible.”
Madeline puts her weights down, and takes a seat on the locker room bench. She frowns. Something isn’t sitting right with her.
Madeline Mason: “We know he’s erratic. We know he acts before he thinks, and he’s not afraid to flaunt the power he has over the company. Sometimes, he behaves exactly the way we expect him to, but other times, it feels… planned out. It’s out of character for him, like he’s thinking it through, much more than he normally would.”
Chloe Collins: “Agreed. But why?”
Madeline Mason: “Someone pulling his strings?”
Chloe Collins: “Or whispering in his ear.”
Madeline Mason: “Telling him how to proceed, but giving him just enough rope to hang himself.”
She pauses.
Madeline Mason: “You know who that sounds like.”
Chloe Collins: “Don’t.”
Madeline Mason: “We need to consider it.”
Chloe Collins: “We don’t have enough. Give me concrete evidence, then we can talk. Until then, we can’t spare the resources.”
Madeline Mason: “Can’t? Or won’t?”
Chloe Collins: “That’s out of line.”
Madeline opens her mouth, but closes it, and gives an apologetic bow of her head. Chloe sighs.
Chloe Collins: “I’ll talk to him. But if there’s nothing there, and it smells like trouble, we’re pulling out of it, and I’m not going to hear another word about it. And as for you, I expect an update on Callaghan. Get hold of his finances. Somebody’s slipping a lot of money into Nathan’s pockets. I want to know who.”
Madeline nods. Chloe looks sternly at her for what seems like ages, then finally takes a breath.
Chloe Collins: “Go. You’ve got a match. I need to make some calls, evidently.”
Madeline stands, making her way from the room, but as soon as her back is turned to Chloe, a small smirk spreads across the soldier’s lips.

RINGSIDE
“Killin It” by KREWELLA is playing throughout the Callaghan Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York. Moments go by letting the fans get excited for the arrival of Antoinette. Without making her fans wait long, Antoinette comes walking out from backstage, dressed in her ring gear for tonight’s number one contenders match for the Gotham Championship against her fiance, Markus. The look on her face however does not match the sequins and sparkles on her outfit. With a somber and defeated look on her face, Antoinette walks towards the ring, microphone in hand.
Antoinette: Hi Friends…
Antoinette looks around, soaking in the cheers but her face doesn’t look like she’s her happy self.
Antoinette: I know it’s been a while since you all heard from me…you’ve surely seen me here, but you haven’t heard from me and how I’m doing after everything that’s been going on recently. I’ve been thinking for weeks about what I wanted to say about everything because I owe it not only to myself, but to every single person out there supporting me to come out here and stand up for myself. I started this business in 2017, pretty much five years since I started, but I was raised in this business. Lately, it seems some people have forgotten. It seems some people have forgotten just who I am, what I am capable of, and just purely see me as a stepping stone in their paths to success. The moment I heard about the opportunity to come to Liberty I was over the moon. I had just gotten my singles career started, I am in the best physical and mental shape in my whole entire career, and this company reopened and it was fate. I knew there was a place for me here and I knew I could bring a lot to the table seated with already incredible talents.
The fans cheer as Antoinette says that, nodding her head as she looks admirably at the ramp, a deep sigh escaping her lips.
Antoinette: I was so excited to show you all what I got and to achieve more goals, but ever since coming here I’ve been faced with challenges I never expected. Sure, I know to always stay prepared and keep your eyes open, but for weeks I’ve been the target of attacks almost every week. Ironically, by two women who went at it this evening. First NV then Callie…
Antoinette shakes her head, the fans booing both ladies and their actions towards Antoinette.
Antoinette: It’s hard not to take it personally when it has literally been an ongoing thing since I’ve arrived in Liberty. Same weapons, different people. I don’t know what it is they don’t like about me, I don’t know what it is I’ve ever done to anyone to deserve to be treated that way, but I’m here tonight to tell you that I’m not dealing with it anymore. I’ve been in this business a long time now, and even if you don’t like me, I should at least get the same amount of respect as anyone else. NV…Callie…anyone else in the back who is watching and looks at me like I’m easy prey? Like I’m just another happy pretty face to take advantage of? Those days are done! I may be struggling to make friends here, but I refuse to let anyone else take advantage of the way you terrible two have! The fact of the matter is, you can make it to the top and be successful with a good attitude and you shouldn't let people take that away from you. I’ve made it to the top before, in my rookie year, and with a partner given to me at complete random. I’m going to find myself at the top again, and that starts with tonight.
The fans cheer, Antoinette looking up as she licks her lips before speaking as she paces back and forth.
Antoinette: Tonight I get to face not only my best friend, but someone who knows me and my ability is almost as good as myself. The one person who has been by my side since the beginning five years ago, the person who inspires me to do my best and the person who has been there to pick up the broken pieces during the hardest weeks of my career being here and overcoming the obstacles. Markus is truly my better half, and I cannot thank him enough for being there for me and everything we’ve been through. And where most people would be intimidated or nervous facing their fiance, I couldn’t be more than thrilled! Markus and I have been working hard for years. We’ve been pushing each other and spending hours weekly in the gym coming up with new moves to keep you all on your toes, so getting the chance to square up is iconic and five years in the making!
Antoinette smiles, looking around before looking back out to the audience.
Antoinette: I remember the days when I would tag along with my brother Angelo and hangout at the gym watching Markus and Ang practice. I learned so much from those days, and the both of us have come so far since then. But tonight we will lay it all out on the line for the chance to become number one contender for the Gotham Championship..something I’ve had my eyes on since NV had been a thorn in my side. Markus, tonight I know you want this just as much as I do. You actually hold a victory over the champion over me, however I haven’t been able to prove myself yet. Tonight means much more to me than a potential championship shot, it’s about showing the locker room that this Ant isn’t the lady to mess with! Tonight is going to be my biggest struggle yet since coming to Liberty, but by far the match I’ve been most excited about since signing here! It all starts here…and pretty soon? You’ll see me as the new Gotham Champion and then after that? I’m coming for the Liberty Championship! Champ Ant is closer than you think, and if I have to try and powerbomb my love three times to do just that…then so be it!
Antoinette’s confidence peeks through as she smiles, before the crowd mixes their reactions with laughs and cheers, clearly excited about the match up this evening with Markus and Antoinette.
Antoinette: But let me just say this…I don’t know who needs to hear this but let me make myself perfectly clear. This is a match between Markus and MYSELF. I know how some of you backstage like to…tussel..
She playfully holds up two fists, pouting out her lower lip quoting the tiktok before she smirks again.
Antoinette: But this is between us. Callie…NV…I don’t care who else but if any of you feel so inclined to show yourself with a chair and the lack of originality you possess, don’t! Because I won’t be so nice this time!
As Antoinette finishes her thought, her attention is drawn to the arena's entrance when a riff mixture of guitar and drums starts to play. From out of the curtain emerges an unfamiliar face to Liberty Pro, Ashley Sands as "Never Look Back" by The Nearly Deads seems to herald her arrival. Antoinette looks to be a bit of both surprised and happy to see her sister-in-law but also confused as to just what she is doing there as not part of the fans around ringside. Ashley climbs the steps and gets inside the ring with a microphone in hand.
Ashley Sands: Is that happiness to see me? Oh I know what it is. Happy surprise. This family really doesn't hide it that well do you. But I digress, I had to do it this way. Think of it like a birthday present... without it being your birthday. I guess I could've hid in a box and had it wheeled out here to pop out like a stripper but I think I'll save that one for another time and place. Besides, this is so much simpler.
Ashley pauses for a moment, raising a finger as she gets to the point of her appearance.
Ashley Sands: Now to the million dollar question... why am I here? Well you see, my sister-from-another-mister, we're kind of family and I can't very well let you fend for yourself. An ant surrounded by a bunch of spiders won't last very long. And silly me I have a thing about staying loyal to those closest to me. So Ant, from now on, you can count on me to have your back. The ink of my Liberty Pro contract is still drying but I'm here and plan on making waves like a fat kid in an inflatable pool.
With the news that Ashley has signed with Liberty Pro and is officially a part of the promotion, Antoinette lunges forward, unable to control her emotions and wraps her arms around her sister-in-law to hug her tightly and crying profusely.
Ashley Sands: Ant, that's kind of tight. A little bit of air would be great.
Antoinette eventually lets go of Ashley after a long moment, looking slightly embarrassed and wiping away tears from her eyes.
Ashley Sands: I'll be here in your corner tonight to make sure no one messes with your chance for a shot at that gold. But I swear to god, if this "Frei Train" thing that Markus keeps talking about running on you turns out to be some kind of sex thing, I'll be blind at that point but I swear I'll stab you both. Now this is your chance, girlie, take what you deserve.
The crowd erupts in cheers at the reunion of the duo, having been some years since the old stablemates have been together under these circumstances. Antoinette nods her head, wiping her eyes before moving her hands motioning a belt around her waist as the cameras fade out.

RECAP Not one to be shown up, Karen Willow wasn’t going to let Kendrick get a quick and easy win and not do the same. Despite the gap in experience, Karen showed that her youth was an advantage in this match with Bellerose, who was considerably older. No matter what Diana did, she couldn’t come back from the onslaught that Karen threw at her. Karen showed that while she is small, she can pack a blow and is quite the brawler. She soon hit Diana with Wolf Fang Fist (Superman Punch) and it was all she wrote from there. Willow picked up the easy victory. We open in what appears to be an underground parking lot. The ground below is made of hard cement, as was the ceiling above. A shiver runs across your arms, you can feel how cold it must be. There is a distant echo of car horns and crosswalks, the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn. At first, the shot remains rested on a few parked cars within the structure, allowing the viewer to take in the surroundings of the scene. Within a few seconds the camera begins to pan sideways, showcasing numerous parked cars. Finally, it rests upon figures in the distance, growing larger as the seconds ticked on, walking closer and closer. The three figures conversed back and forth, their voices bouncing around the cement walls but still impossible to make out. Before long, they were within earshot of the microphone.
Warren Corbett: …I just don’t see the reasoning behind it. What is Nathan playing at? Putting Seth in a handicap match against his wives…
Becky fidgets with her fingers nervously.
Becky Balfour: I talked to him. He said to trust him.
The three members of #TheSociety look at each other and it’s clear that the word ‘trust’ was being questioned before Becky continues.
Becky Balfour: He brought us here for a reason, right? And he is giving you a championship match tonight. This sucks for Seth, but maybe there’s a method to his madness.
The trio came around the bend of a car parked on the corner of the straight-away, coming into clear view of the camera. Warren looked annoyed, his hands firmly in either pocket of his studded black jacket.
Warren Corbett: That’s without mentioning Paz on the loose, as if it wasn’t Nathan who hired us to take care of his family members in the first place. Now we’ve got his current wives and daughter-in-law to watch out for. With them nipping at our heels, does Nathan believe we won’t be at ringside for Seth? Not gonna happen.
Becky seems distant in the moment. It was as if she were trying to believe Nathan after their conversation, so she changes the topic.
Becky Balfour: And then I have to wrestle that little shit Dex Morant. Can you believe he actually told me to bring my best?
The Voice of The Society was getting worked up now and animated, talking faster than usual.
Becky Balfour: Dex Morant has no idea what he asked for tonight. I don’t give a shit who trained him and I don’t care who his friends are. I’m way out of his league. And not in the way Syn is out of mine.
Warren actually chuckles while Seth remains stonefaced, as if he’s ready to say something.
Becky Balfour: Remember Dex. Sometimes you get what you ask for. I’m the first ever Liberty champion. I’m the ‘leader’ of The Followers, I’m Becky FUCKING Balfour. You want to be famous? I’ll make sure you are. For all of the wrong reasons.
Warren nudges Becky and looks at Seth. Balfour nods and pats Seth on the back.
Becky Balfour: But yes. There’s no way we’re letting you go out there on your own, Seth. You know we have your back.
Warren Corbett: Listen Seth, I may have a shot at the Liberty Championship later tonight, but nothing is going to stop me from going out there during that handicap match and watching your back. No matter what happens, I’ll be alright to take on La’Bell later in the night and still walk out with the belt. What matters most is making sure nobody is allowed to single us out like that…
Seth looks between them both and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: It’s a great sentiment that you both want to have my back out there tonight…
But I’ve got this.
Seth looks at them and nods his head.
Seth Lawless: If Nathan wants to do this to me let him. Let him want to play this game with me, it’s fine I’ll come out on top…hell I’ve always wanted two women at the same time.
Seth winks at the camera and laughs a little bit.
Seth Lawless: Look, this might not be the best hand I’ve ever been dealt and I might be in over my head, but like I’ve told Paz you need to kill me to get rid of me. Granted her attacking me and leaving me a bloody mess wasn’t ideal, a stay in the hospital wasn’t great either but I still got up. And I always will because I’m to much of an asshole to stay down. I have to stick around to annoy everyone.
He starts walking around leaving Becky and Warren in the background.
Seth Lawless: I need to be in the spotlight tonight and being in a handicap match is a funny way to do it but I will. I need to have everyone doubt me so I can laugh in their faces when I stand tall TONIGHT!
Passion awoke from Seth as he took a ferocious look into the camera.
Seth Lawless: If people like X, Paz, and anyone else want a ruthless Seth Lawless, the one that will destroy you limb from damn limb you’ve got him. People have awoken a god damn beast. Good luck.
Seth smirks as he walks past Becky and Warren on his way to take a fight of his own. Warren and Becky looked at each other over his shoulder, a small look of concern written on their faces, but they both understood he needed to do this for himself. They nodded to each other, and broke off with Warren going right, Becky going left, as they scene fades.

BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to Dex Morant pacing back and forth in front of a camera. He soon pauses and turns toward the camera with a serious look on his face.
Dex Morant: Tonight is something I wanted. Falls Count Anywhere against the greatest champion in Liberty history. Becky Balfour? I might be one of the few, but I respect you. I respect everything that you’ve done to make Liberty the company that it is. Without Society? There is no Liberty. I’ll admit that.
He nods.
Dex Morant: So for me to put my name out there? I gotta go up against the thing that’s made Liberty tick. The thing that has always breathed life into this company and that is you. So like I told you before… Bring me everything that you’ve got. Because when it’s all said and done? Whether I win or lose? You will respect me and so will everyone else here. Got that? Good.

RECAP Seth Lawless came out to this one with a point to prove and holy cow, did he prove it. He took it to Coral and Nami like a man on fire. He almost ended the match when he nailed Coral with Detroit is Burning - Pop Up Powerbomb but Nami tried to get into the match and she distracted the referee. Seth got up angry and he came flying in to take Nami out with The Boom Run - Drive By Kick. He turned to go take care of Coral but while the referee had his back turned BOOM! A LOW BLOW! Normally this isn’t something Coral would resort to but Seth? Seth deserved this in her eyes. She rolled him up and got the three count as Lawless held onto his family jewels. “Got myself a fancy new toy last week, you guys like?” Nina held the Anarchy title in front of the camera, a proud smile painted on her face as she read her name on the gold plate. “Last Sunday was quite the rollercoaster, gotta admit. I came in thinking I was fighting Dexter and Avery in a triple threat, I ended up in a four way match with the title on the line. And as if shit wasn’t wild enough, the Anarchy title remained on the line the whole night. Which is how I got it.”
“Let me get this out here right away…” She added with a sudden change of mood. “What happened to you, Dylan? That was bullshit. You got screwed, my friend, plain and simple. That kinda seems to be par for the course here, it’s probably somewhere in the contract they made us sign. Come to Liberty, you get to fight on Saturdays on Liberation or Mondays on Freedom, this is how much you’ll get for each appearance, championship bonus and stuff.. But yeah, one day, you won’t know when or why, we’re just gonna fuck you over.”
“It blows, I agree. If I were in your shoes, I’d be mad too.” The Chicago Native glanced once again at her championship and shrugged her shoulders. “But I’m not. I’m the one who made the best of this unfortunate situation you found yourself in and went home ten pounds heavier.”
“Word of advice, Dylan… Move the fuck on. Anarchy ain’t your thing anymore. I know your instinct tells you to chase what was unrightfully taken from you but that ain’t your play here. See it as a blessing in disguise, you got the rare luck of losing your title because of someone else, because of things out of your control.” The Viper continued, addressing the former champion who recently made his intentions of wanting the title back known. “Sure, someone might argue that you kinda brought it on yourself, but that’s beside the point. Ever heard the saying It’s better to stay silent and let people think you’re a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubts?
She let out a chuckle. “This is the same thing. You now have your fans thinking that if Nathan didn’t set you up, you wouldn’t have lost the title. You have them thinking that, even if I had won that triple threat and earned the right to challenge you one on one, you’d have beaten me. Why would you want to burst their bubble. Let them live the illusion, save your reputation and ride the wave to challenge for another title. You have quite a few you can choose from.”
Nina stared at the camera in silence for a few seconds before sighing audibly. “In case you’re too stubborn to listen or too dumb to take the advice… Please, give me the courtesy to make this quick. Use your rematch clause, start a petition or just barge into Nathan’s office and threaten him… I don’t care what you do, let’s just get over this because, no offense, I got better things to do.”
“See, Dylan, I took a look at the not-so-updated championship history on the Liberty site -get your shit together, Aaron!- And what I saw made my heart bleed.” Once again she looked at the title in her hand. “This little, precious thing… It’s been treated as a joke for so long. Between the dumb as fuck 24/7 rule to some forgettable reigns from some trash champions -yeah, I’m looking at you Kross- it’s no shock that people now look at this as a joke.”
“Back when I was just a Twitter intern, there was this chick. Young, badass, talented. She happened to win a title that was considered the low tier championship in that company, a gateway for rookies. I mean, that was how she got the chance in first place, she was just starting off and that was in the owner’s close-minded vision, the only title she was meant to challenge for.” The memory brought a smile to her face. Whoever that person is, and if you know where she worked it’s an easy guess, she clearly inspired the Viper. “No shit, she kept it for over a year. She raised the bar so high that the title everyone considered as a thing for rookies became, and still his today, one of the most prestigious titles in the business. There were people coming from everywhere, some of the biggest names in the industry trying to take that title nobody knew shit about until two months before from her.”
“For far too long people overlooked this title, and you, Dylan, you’re part of the problem. This title is not a gimmick, it’s not about coming up with the craziest and most ridiculous stipulation. Y’all forgot what Anarchy means, what it’s all about. Y’all bastardized the definition and turned it into a bad joke.”
“Today it’s the dawn of a new era, for me and for this title. And what better way to kick it off than making a break cut with the past, starting with a former contender and former champion like Avery Smith?” Confident, some might even say arrogant, Nina smiled at the camera. “Operation: Redefine Anarchy starts tonight.”

Lobo Jr vs Jackal
Lobo Jr vs Jackal
RECAP Jackal had been on a roll lately, especially with Xavier Laroux as her partner. Speaking of which, Xavier was ringside for this one. Lobo Jr ran circles around the much larger Jackal in this one, showing off his legendary lucha speed and moves. He took Jackal out with a hurricarana and before she knew it, Jackal was in trouble when Lobo nailed her with You’re Not Dead You’re Just Sleeping - Canadian Destroyer! He pinned but no! Jackal got her foot on the ropes before the three. Jackal showing off her high iq and ring awareness was no surprise. Xavier then starts to trade trash talk with Lobo, calling him slow. Lobo laughed and said he would run circles around his ass. He then went to pick Jackal up but she shoved him off with a forearm, followed by a clothesline. She took back control of the match here when she nailed Lobo with a spinebuster. She pinned but he kicked out after two. She went to pick him up for a powerbomb but Lobo Jr reversed it into a hurricanrana. He went to climb up the top ropes but Xavier got up on the apron! This distracted Lobo enough, who kicked Xavier off but then Jackal was up and she climbed up the turnbuckle and threw Lobo off of it. She then nailed him with The Regiment (Tilt-a-whirl side slam) and that's all she wrote. Jackal picked up the win over the legendary Mexican fighter. BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts backstage where a hand knocks on the door that reads “Dylan Shepherd”. He slides out of the door where a female voice can be heard shouting out “Nooo” as he stepped out. His hair is kind of in a mess and he has smeared lipstick on his cheek. He smiles and tries to wipe off the lipstick as his eyes grow wide at the camera.
Dylan Shepherd: Oh hey hey hey! Yeah I figured this was about the time for me to hype up the amazing thing that Lego is and you know… I just err, umm got distracted.
He smirks and then gives the camera a wink.
Dylan Shepherd: But don’t take that as me not being ready for Erick Malone. You see, Erick hit his peak in Valiant. The dude was like gold there. He didn’t need titles or anything like that. He was just gold on his own. But now? Now the dude is trying to be gold and that’s pretty cringe if you ask me. Then again you can’t expect much from the seed of Grey Hound Malone. That dude was a weirdo.
Dylan reaches into his pocket randomly and pulls out a handful of Legos in his hand and chuckles.
Dylan Shepherd: Now how did they get in there? Hmm. Anywho, I’m sure Maloney Baloney is going to take the fight to me and I hope he does. Actually I assume he’s just gonna watch this and then reply to what I’m saying since that’s all the guy did this week. Personally if he just focused his energy on getting ahead of the curve instead trying to be the curve… He might not trying to be all Steam Punk or whatever he is now.
He trickles the Legos to the ground.
Dylan Shepherd: But this match is in my little fun zone. I brought the Lego party to Liberty Pro and from the first night I was here I said episode sixtynine was gonna be a fun one and this match will be my gift to you my lovelies. Going into this match Devilishly Handsome and leaving it the same way!
Just then a well manicured female hand reaches out from behind the door and pulls Dylan back in, abruptly ending the segment.

Nina vs Avery Smith
Nina vs Avery Smith
RECAP All hell broke loose in this one between the two intense competitors. Nina hit Avery with a chair shot straight to the head but it wasn’t enough to keep Smith down and she kicked out after two. Avery later countered when she got her hands on a fire extinguisher and she sprayed Nina with it before taking her out by slamming it across her face. She pinned but Nina kicked out. These two were pulling out all the stops here and it was clear that they both wanted that Anarchy Championship. Avery eventually got her hands on it and charged Nina, trying to level her with the Anarchy Championship but Nina had a sledgehammer in her hand as she stood up and she slammed it into Avery’s gut before hitting her in the face with it. Erik Malone vs Dylan Shepherd
RECAP This match took place in another area of the Callaghan Warehouse. Masses of fans surrounded a giant, rainbow colored lego built playhouse. Erik and Dylan both started on different sides of the playhouse. Erik soon found Dylan and clobbered him in the face with a lego lightsaber? The lego contents went splashing everywhere. Malone pinned Dylan but he kicked out after two. Erik tried to jump off a lego built platform, going for his coffin drop but Dylan had stood up and gotten his hands on a lego 2x4, wrapped in barbed wire!? He slammed it into Malone’s back and the legos went flying once again but the barbed wire did it’s dirty work on Erik’s back. Erik got payback though, as he slammed a trash can lid shaped from legos right over Shepherd’s head. These two weren’t giving an inch to each other. It was clear that Dylan wanted to prove to the world that he was the Anarchy king of Liberation. While Erik wanted to prove to Nathan that he deserved a match with Melissa Reeves. The two put on a show, going back and forth before they crashed into a few walls. They were a bloody mess but neither wanted to give in. The thing is? The lego playhouse? It couldn’t handle all of the walls crashing down and eventually, the entire thing, which was a ton of weight, crashed down on Dylan, Erik and the referee! Markus tried to grab Ant but she dodged it and dropkicked his leg. She did it again and again until his knee buckled. She then hit a hurricanrana driver. She pinned but Markus tossed her off of him after two. Markus got to his knees but BAM! Ant hit a shining wizard and went for a second pin but Markus kicked out again. She controlled a bit more of the match but Markus soon took control when he caught her and nailed a gorilla press slam. He pinned but she kicked out. Markus then hit a spinebuster but Ant kicked out again. He stood back and waited for her to stir. When she did, he charged, going for his Frei Train (running lariat) but Ant had him scouted and she dodged it before rolling him up! The three count was almost there but Markus kicked out. The tide changed when he went for a Belly-to-belly suplex but Brianna countered it into one of her own! She then nailed her Punch Into Row Z and went for the pin but Sunday K. Love slid in a pair of brass knuckles where Atticus was down at before she jumped onto the apron and distracted the referee. Brianna got up and charged at Sunday to get her off of the apron. When she turned around? BANG! Cassian nailed her with the brass knuckles but the referee turned and saw them in Atticus’ hand. RECORDED EARLIER
“Xavier Laroux.”
The shot opens on Melissa Reeves, standing alone with the Hudson River behind her. She’s not in her ring gear, but rather is in jeans and a hoodie. The sun is still in the sky, meaning this has been recorded earlier in the day.
“He and I have a long, long history. Some of you know, some don’t, but we almost dated at one point. Yes, not my finest hour I will admit, but we’re not here to discuss his personal life.”
She leans back against a rail.
“Instead we will discuss his professional life. Xavier, like him or not, is every bit as decorated a champion as I am. The man enjoys his mind games, but that won’t be working on me. I know his tricks, I know his plays. I know him. Equally, he knows me. He is aware that I want this to be a straight fight, no bs. Which turns my eye toward Erik, another who enjoys mind games. Thing is…well I’ve seen all of these antics before. If someone wants to fight me, they only have to ask. But if someone wants to throw me off my game, they’ll be disappointed in the outcome.”
There’s a small shrug from the Australian.
“So tonight I’m going to face Laroux and I am going to give it my all in the hunt for another win. It’s nothing against him, not at all, but simply I need to take that victory. A win earned without any asterisk, a straight and clean success. This place, Liberty, lends itself to dishonest characters and to anarchy well. So many on the roster here are willing to get involved in things that aren’t their business, and there’s always that chance someone will do something dumb. I hope that tonight Xavier knows better. And, for that matter, Erik too. Cya soon, X.”
MATCH TEN: FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
Dex Morant vs Becky Balfour
Dex Morant vs Becky Balfour
RECAP Becky Balfour went out to do this match alone but before it could start, Dex Morant slammed a chair into her back from behind on the ramp! He slammed it down on Becky a few more times, bending it before he dragged her to the ring and slid her into it. Dex then told the referee to ring the bell and he obliged. Dex yelled at Becky, telling her that what he did is exactly what she would do. He then grabbed a bag of thumbtacks from his pocket and poured them all over the ring. He picked Becky up and slammed her down on it face first with The Crowning (Headlock driver, adopted from Gavin Grimes)!!! Becky screamed from all the thumbtacks that were now in her face, head and body. Dex pinned but Becky VIOLENTLY kicked out after two. Dex tried to grab her but something stirred inside Balfour, it was like Dex awakened a demon and she speared him down to the ground and just started to lay rights and lefts into him. She then threw Dex outside and followed. She controlled this portion of the match. Tossing Dex into the barrier outside, before slamming him into the steel steps and then into the announce table before she started to clear it off. She screamed at Morant, asking him if this is what he really wanted? Dex then slammed his head into hers and screamed YES! The two fought back and forth but Becky took control when she slammed a barbed wire 2x4 into his face. Dex was bleeding and Becky made it even worse when she grinded the barbed wire over Dex’s forehead. Blood was pouring everywhere. Becky grabbed Dex and pulled him up on the announce table. She grabbed his head from behind and screamed! She then dropped him with Hear Me Out (scream into reverse DDT) right through the table. Becky pinned Dex and got the three count and the win. The damage had been done to Becky though, as she was bleeding from several places. She looked down at Dex and an evil grin crossed over his lips before she gave him a nod. Was that respect? You can never really tell when it comes to Balfour but she soon made her exit. WINNER Becky Balfour METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 12:32 FINISHING MOVE Hear Me Out (Through table) |
BACKSTAGE
We open on nothing but darkness. A black screen covers the entirety of your vision. We know the camera is on, because the audio has kicked in, and the unmistakable sound of silence crackles through the microphone. It’s a few seconds before a figure steps from the darkness, still cloaked in a dark fog. Warren Corbett stands in front of the camera, his arms crossed across his black studded vest, his bare chest showing in the cuts of the vest. No Becky or Seth in sight. His scowl says it all as he stares into the camera. We sit there for a few more seconds, Warren simply staring into the lens like he was staring into your soul
Warren Corbett: You said you wanted all the Liberty OGs, didn’t you, Derrick? Here I am.
He outstretched his arms, allowing the camera to take him all in.
Warren Corbett: The last time I had a shot at the Liberty Championship, I was embroiled in a war with Ana Hayden and had just put her through a table. Good times. That shot should’ve been mine alone, but Honey managed to get herself into MY title match. Honestly, I expected myself or Ana to win, probably so did the rest of Liberty Pro, but it was Honey who managed to squeak out the win in the end.
Warren shook his head, obviously disappointed in the outcome of that night. However he quickly shakes the idea of disappointment out of his head.
Warren Corbett: You’ll find my name all over the history books. Tag titles, Anarchy Championship, Liberty Championship though I’ve never managed to take the win. Tonight will be much different. Not only because I get you in a one-on-one, but because this time I’ll walk out with the belt on my wait!
He motions around his waist with both hands.
Warren Corbett: You’re but a boy, Derrick. A boy trying to stay afloat on the raft that is Liberty Pro, while sharks circle around your capsizing boat. You managed to grip the belt but you’re easily losing hold of it. You’re barely seen outside of your matches, while the rest of this place goes up in flames. You may view it was steering clear of the drama, but what you’re really doing is giving up the spotlight to other people. Your name is supposed to be the first on everyone’s lips, but you’re not the first person that comes to mind when you think Liberty Champion. For non-Liberty crowds, they think the champion is Becky, Melissa, maybe even TJ, mistakenly. After tonight, they’ll think Warren Corbett.
With his right hand, Warren balls his it into a fist and beats on his chest three times.
Warren Corbett: That belt has belonged to #TheSociety is the very inception of Liberty Pro. It’ll just finally be back in our possession.
A momentary pause.
Warren Corbett: And to Paz, do yourself a favor and keep your eyes elsewhere. If you want a battle, we’ll have a battle, but that battle will come after I’m Liberty Pro Champion. That is, of course, if you can face me head on…
He smirked, egging her on, knowing she’d come for him at some point. With that, he steps back into the dark fog, before the scene fades out.

HEADLINE: SINGLES
Melissa Reeves vs Xavier Laroux
Melissa Reeves vs Xavier Laroux
RECAP This match had years of history in it and it was clear that these two long-time veterans of the ring knew each other very well. The match was a back and forth affair, with each wrestler countering the other. Xavier soon got the edge when he poked Melissa in the eye and nailed her with a snap DDT. He pinned but she kicked out. He tried a plethora of moves and pins but Melissa didn’t stay down. Xavier soon went for Narcoterrorism (Bicycle Knee Strike) but Melissa had him scouted and caught his leg before putting him into Iron Lock (heel hook)! Xavier looked close to tapping at one point but he soon lunged for the ropes and broke up the count. Melissa backed off. Xavier got to his feet and she charged, going for Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) but Xavier caught her and BAM! Powerbomb! He pinned but Melissa kicked out again. He then backed up and looked to end this again. When she stirred, Xavier charged and went for Narcoterrorism but Melissa dodged it again and she hit the ropes. When X turned, he couldn’t avoid what came next and that was Facial Deconstructor. Melissa pinned and got the three count, this one was all she wrote. Derrick La’Bell vs Warren Corbett
Derrick La’Bell vs Warren Corbett
RECAP This match started off with just two hoss’ fighting it out. Derrick and Warren are just laying into each other. Warren took the lead when he nailed a knee into Derrick’s gut, followed by a sidewalk slam. Warren soon hit an early Battle Ax [HIGH IMPACT, Spinning Spinebuster]! This usually finished people off but Derrick kicked out just before the three count. Warren tried for a second Battle Ax but Derricked countered. He fought off Warren before getting him onto the ground and nailing him with Hellbows (Mounted Elbow Strikes)! Warren was clearly dazed. Derrick picked him up and whipped the big man to the ropes and when he came back, BANG! Prodigy in Motion (Spirit Bomb/ Pop-Up Sit-Out Last Ride) was hit but suddenly, Becky Balfour was on the apron! She might’ve been tired out from earlier but she was here to support Warren. Seth Lawless then hit Derrick from behind with the Liberty Championship but Derrick went flying into the referee, taking him out. Girls of Summer made their way to the ring with intent, as they weren’t going to let Seth and Becky get away with this after Society had already taken their championships. Seth and Becky exited the ring and started to all out brawl with the Girls of Summer. Warren soon stands in the ring looking out over the chaos with a smile on his face. The referee is down and out. On the outside, Seth and Becky are battling it out with Coral and Nami. On the inside, Derrick La’Bell and the Liberty Championship are ripe for the taking. He leans on the ropes for a moment, watching the action unfold on the outside before turning his attention to La’Bell who’s splayed out on the canvas. Corbett scoops him up onto his shoulders and prepares to hit his War Hammer finisher. He yells out to the crowd that the end is near but suddenly Paz Guevara hops the barrier wearing street clothes, slides in under the bottom rope and drops down behind Warren to deliver a powerful low blow. Corbett’s eyes go wide before he drops La’Bell from his shoulders and collapses down to his knees. He scans the area in confusion, his eyes watering from the illegal blow, until Paz comes into focus. She crouches down in front of him and looks him dead in the eyes… Paz Guevara: This one’s for Liam. Then she blows Warren a kiss and unloads with a devastating buzzsaw kick, the steel toe of her Doc Marten boot connecting directly with his temple. The thud echoes through the arena and Warren’s eyes roll back in his head as he slumps over unconscious. On the outside Becky’s eyes snap towards the ring and fall on a grinning Paz who immediately flips her a double bird before exiting from the ring. Becky screams and tries to break free but she and Seth are too wrapped up with the Girls of Summer to lend Corbett a hand. Inside the ring Derrick La’Bell has the wherewithal to crawl over and drape his arm across the fallen Corbett. The referee rouses himself enough to slide into position and make the three count and La’Bell secures the victory and exits the match as still Liberty Champion.
