PERSONALITY INFO
Gimmick
Straight shooter. Blunt to an obnoxious level. Won't bullshit someone, but isn't trying to make friends either. Has a real tendency to piss people off, sometimes unintentionally. Solely interested in winning and making sure everyone knows his name. Doesn't want to be a mainstream success, just wants to be known as the best to ever do it. Called an old soul by some, but in reality, just an ornery old bastard.
Strengths
- Tough Bastard: Having worked as a ranch hand most his life, the man can take a lot of punishment for an ungodly amount of time. Hell, he might even like it. It's gonna take more than a couple hard shots to put this stubborn bull down.
- Deadlift King: Strong as hell. When he's not getting paid, the man occupies his free time in the gym. Regularly trying to break his personal bests and he's not afraid to see the limits of how much he can actually pick up. And when it comes to wrestlers, there not many out there he can't pick straight up.
- Hard Worker: What'd you expect from Frank? Wrestling has always been Plan A, there's no Plan B. The man is focused on becoming the best, beating the best, and not backing down from anyone. A firm believer in "Iron sharpens iron". He might not always win, but he'll make you earn yours.
Weaknesses
- Grounded: While Frank's relatively agile himself, there's no chance he's going airborne and quite frankly? He underestimates those who can. High flyers and luchadores have been a thorn in Frank's side his entire career. Sure, he can catch a guy well enough, but their speed and unpredictability can throw Frank off. He likes to keep the match contained to inside the ropes.
- Confidence Kills: Being extremely confident in your ability always sounds great on paper, but in reality? Frank's not backing down from anyone when he's massively out of his element or even when he's outclassed. The man might even find himself outnumbered and still be foolish enough to think he's got a damn chance to win.
- Old School Rules: First and foremost, Frank is a wrestler, not a fighter. The man knows how to chop, punch, lariat, and slap. That's it. So if someone wants to try and force to him a stand up fight, they've got a good chance of winning that if they know what they're doing. Frank's a throwback. They didn't need to know how to throw a roundhouse kick in the territories.
- Loner: Not a big killer in the grand scheme of things, but Frank keeps to himself and believes a lot of other wrestlers should too. Calls it like he sees it and isn't trying to make any friends in the process. Being that blunt can piss some people off and create some enemies in the process, but Frank doesn't give a damn.

CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
The son of a blue-collar family, Frank Cornell never grew up knowing much about a luxurious life and and honestly preferred it that way. His father instilled a hard-working mindset in Frank's head at an early age, so he didn't have much time to reflect on what he did and didn't have. But that being said, the one luxury the family did have in the household was a barely functional TV set with a VCR. On the rare occasions Frank wasn't busy with baseball practice or helping out at his dad's auto shop, he loved nothing more than planting himself in front of that television and popping in a tape from his dad's Southern wrestling collection. Frank liked baseball and working on cars as much as the next guy, but professional wrestling quickly became his first love.
Naturally, Frank, to the mild disappointment of his parents, decided to pursue the venture, but only under the promise of following through on his baseball scholarship and getting a degree to fall back on. Frank was a mediocre student, but a phenomenal athlete, even if he preferred working out to fit the aesthetic of the guys he grew up a fan of instead of trying to do what his coach asked of him. And as if it was fate, browsing around on the college library computer, Frank would find the wrestling school of his dreams. So sure enough, four years and a degree later, it was time for Frank Cornell to enter the world of professional wrestling.
It was a long drive from Indiana to Fort Worth, but getting to meet "Texas" Hank Robbins made up for it; one of his childhood idols and one of the meanest bastards in all of the Southern territories. And he lived up to everything Frank thought he'd be. Frank proved his worth early on to Hank and he had no qualms helping out on Hank's ranch, getting an opportunity to live out in a guest house instead of having to rent out an apartment with the rest of the boys. For nearly a year, Frank busted his ass to show he belonged, and he'd earn his first nickname of "Old Man"; a rib from the rest of the trainees who failed to see much difference between the mean old bastard and his pupil.
Before he was let loose on the rest of the wrestling world, Frank was given the blessing to carry on Hank's legacy as "Texas" Frank Cornell. While not considering himself a cowboy, it was still a badge of honor he'd proudly wear. With a guiding hand from his mentor, Frank would tear up the independents all throughout Texas and Oklahoma before getting a chance to prove himself yet again on a national stage up in New York.
