OPENING SEGMENT
The backstage crew catches sight of Blyss Lockhart and Dante Locke making their way through the hallway. Normally, Blyss would already be dressed for battle but tonight, she’s clearly here to support her boyfriend but under the casual jacket over tank and jeans getup, the serious look on her face still means business. When they reach Lily Callaghan’s office, Blyss stops to turn to Dante.
Blyss Lockhart: Before we go in there… I would’ve preferred this conversation with Lily much earlier so that we can just focus on your match tonight, but fine, she’s got a lot on her plate running the shows and only has time for us today. And even though things are still working in our favor, I need to know where her head’s really at right now. I need to know that she’s okay. Just in case… You know?
Dante looks over at Blyss and nods.
Dante Locke: I know what you mean. No matter what we hear tonight though? We need to stay on guard, always. Because at the end of the day? It’s always going to be you and me. Anyone else will come and go at some point or another and we have to be ready for that inevitability at all times. I mean, two of the people who fit that description are here now and that’s Marcus and Stella. Once they were our allies but…
He snaps his fingers.
Dante Locke:
Just like that, they weren’t.
Blyss’ face darkens at the mention of their former friends.
Blyss Lockhart: Exactly. It’s you and me. Always.
She lets out a short exhale before knocking on Lily’s office door. Upon permission, the couple enters the room where Lily is seated in her chair, typing away furiously on her phone. Blyss and Dante glance at each other before sitting down.
Blyss Lockhart: Thanks for taking some time to see us today, Lily. I know how busy you must be, tonight being Night 1 of the supershow and all. How are you doing? Everything alright?
Blyss eyes Lily curiously. Lily looks up from her phone, almost annoyed at whatever she’s currently dealing with.
Lily Callaghan: Alright? Is everything alright?
She chuckles and nods her head.
Lily Callaghan: Of course! Why wouldn’t it be alright? Everything is fine and we’re going to make sure the tide turns our way. I need you two to both succeed these next two days, okay? I really, really need it.
Dante leans in his chair nods.
Dante Locke: We’ve got that on lock but we just wanted to make sure you’re okay? And if you needed anything else from us? You trusted us for a reason, so there’s no reason for you to not trust us even more as we’ve done everything you’ve asked.
Dante is clearly trying to get somewhere with Lily, poking and prodding as if there’s some underlying issue going on with her. Lily’s eyes dart back and forth at Dante and then Blyss nervously before she forces a smile and shakes her head.
Lily Callaghan: Nope, I trust you both to do what I’ve asked you to do and there’s nothing else to worry about.
She looks to Blyss.
Lily Callaghan: How’re you holding up, future Freedom Champ?
That brings a self-pleased smirk to Blyss’ face.
Blyss Lockhart: Pretty good, boss. Making TJ and Sparrow go at it first before the winner faces me? Making poor Skylar fight Dante MMA style? Genius! Skylar can try to learn a new move and those two can keep saying how they’re best friends and all that but everyone knows Skylar is way out of her league, TJ won’t go easy and Sparrow would rather die than go back on his word. Plus, as you said, he would be fired if he loses to TJ.
She leans towards Lily with a grin.
Blyss Lockhart: I love it!
They share a laugh but Blyss stops first, a more serious look crossing her face.
Blyss Lockhart: A little overdramatic, though. Don’t get me wrong. I do love drama and I know you set up our matches the way you did to punish them for going out of line. You know we appreciate every opportunity given, but we also know that perhaps there’s something else that’s got you so rattled. Something more than just Sparrow running his mouth and TJ and Skylar ruining a main event. And even right now, sitting opposite you, I can tell you’re more distracted than usual and it can’t just be “management stuff”.
She adjusts her seating, straightening her back.
Blyss Lockhart: We’re not just worried about you, Lily. Whatever you’re worried about, we worry about that too. Because like you said, you trust us to do what you’ve asked but that doesn’t feel enough. We need to know what you’re worried about because that may affect us as much as it does you, given our relationship.
She pauses to let her words sink in, her gaze fixated upon Lily.
Blyss Lockhart: So, is there something more you want to tell us, Lily?
Lily’s eye twitches, she knows that Blyss and Dante are onto something but still, she deflects.
Lily Callaghan: Oh would you look at that? I’ve got an important call to make to some investors.
Lily looks at her phone as if an important message pops up.
Lily Callaghan: Let's continue this talk later. Besides, Dante should be getting ready to obliterate Skylar, yes?
Dante lets out a sigh before looking at Blyss and nodding.
Dante Locke: Yeah… I should be getting ready. Let’s say we get on out of here, Blyss?
Blyss’ jaw tenses, clearly not happy with Lily’s response. But she doesn’t press the issue as she discreetly rolls her eyes.
Blyss Lockhart: Alright, fine. Let’s go get you ready.
She gives him a brief smile before turning back to Lily.
Blyss Lockhart: Thanks again, Lily.
As the two stand up to leave, Blyss walks over to Lily’s desk and looks down on her for one last word.
Blyss Lockhart: By now, you should know that we always deliver our promises. No matter what or who stands in our way. Remember that.
She shoots Lily a stern look with that emphasis before she and Dante take their leave from Lily’s office.

BACKSTAGE
Things can be heard being slammed onto the floor as security comes running to see what the noise is. It turns out that it’s Jackson who has thrown anything he can onto the ground obviously frustrated.
Jackson: This is all bullshit. All these losses and I’m still pissed if at Syn. She deserves to get her ass beat by me. Put her on the street with me.
Jackson walks by the camera which quickly catches up with him, showing how red Jackson’s face is at the moment.
Jackson: Tonight’s match isn’t about to be a loss. I don’t care what I have to do. I don’t care if I have to break everything in Eves body I will. I’ll do whatever I have to and don’t think I won’t.
I want to break everything in Syns body and her face. She doesn’t deserve to be in this match with Ray. Not after she fucked me over. But moving on.
Jackson continues his walk knocking things over.
Jackson: I’m looking forward to this match against Eve if I’m being honest. I’m looking forward to going out there. Getting this W and showing everyone I’m not lying on who and what I say I am. I’m getting pissed off, believe me. And it’s not going to be pretty.
Now get that damn camera out of my face.
Jackson grabs it and looks straight into it with an evil looking smirk.
Jackson: Tonight is going to be a good night. Tonight is going to be the night I show the world what I’m here to do. Tonight I break anything I can on Eve. And Syn is after.
Jackson slams the camera down and stomps on it for good measure as he continues down the hall knocking anything he can on to the floor.

MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Eve O’Donnell vs Jackson
Eve O’Donnell vs Jackson
RECAP Jackson and Eve O'Donnell square off immediately at the bell, Jackson going for an early advantage after a thumb to the eye on Eve. Frankly during the opening moments of the match Jackson is doing all he can to get in O'Donnell’s head, doing a bunch of tiny but very annoying things like ducking through the ropes to get the referee to back Eve off and so forth. Eve gets positively heated at one point and explodes all over Jackson, who slides out of the ring to get a breather on the outside only to be smashed into as Eve comes over the top rope with a big Tope Con Hilo! Eve and Jackson quickly return to the ring after a bit of brawling, a lot of threats coming back and forth of course. There's a lot of booing for O'Donnell's antics which only increase at this, though after some nasty cat calls she points directly at the fans and points at them, yelling for them to shut up. She rolls her eyes and orders the referee to do something about the disrespect but then her eyes go wide as her pointing hand is suddenly grabbed at the wrist and twisted viciously into an Armbar, Jackson's foot slams into his side to add more pressure to the hold and then Eve yelps in surprise as Jackson yanks her forward and slams his elbow into her face repeatedly! It’s all Jackson there for a bit, Jackson goes for a kick to the midsection, it connects and bends O'Donnell over but when he grabs her for a Blue Thunder Bomb attempt, Eve's elbow connects again with his chin and Jackson goes down to one knee with his right arm down on the mat to try and brace himself and then O'Donnell steps off Jackson's raised knee with one foot, swinging her other leg over and strikes Jackson's head with the side of her knee sharply for a Shining Wizard! Jackson reels and goes down flat on the mat after the knee to the head, O'Donnell rolls through and comes to her feet, and then runs over to the ropes on the side as Jackson is getting to his feet before she charges towards Jackson who ducks the Clothesline attempt and recovers fast, leaping at the close ropes to come off with a springboard cutter practically wiping out O'Donnell! There's a pin attempt but O'Donnell kicks out! Another after a repeat elbow to the face, but O'Donnell kicks out again! They both rise a bit slowly but Jackson makes it to his feet first and then runs at the ropes to rebound off towards the still rising Eve, who out of nowhere jumps up with a sort of high Crossbody Block that once more has both wrestlers on the mat. This time it's Eve who makes it to her feet first and while he wobbles Jackson kips up and then flips up to deliver a bicycle knee! He's then looking for a Shining Wizard of his own but O'Donnell falls over and Jackson misses the mark - but his foot clips the referee on his way down to the mat! He pins O'Donnell, stacking her up but realizes that the ref is down so he lets go and moves to check on him. This is a mistake as O'Donnell quickly exits the ring and slides a chair in, following it and then she goes to slam Jackson with the chair but he ducks it! He then hits a superkick onto the chair, sending it right into Eve’s face! She drops like a ton of bricks and Jackson pins and gets the three count and the win! WINNER Jackson METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 7:56 FINISHING MOVE Superkick to chair |
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts to backstage where Dylan Shepherd is seen backstage. A camera crew comes up to him with Liberty Pro interviewer Dante in tow.
Dante: “Dylan, are you here to get an eye on some possible opponents since your match isn't until night two?”
Shepherd just lets out a chuckle and shakes his head.
Dylan Shepherd: “Nah, I’m here to cheer on Rowen as she takes on Avery tonight. Figured I could sit back and enjoy myself while watching that hottie kick some major ass. Plus, I’ve had my run-ins with Avery so I guess if anyone can give her some pointers it’d be me.”
Dante: “You and Rowen seem to be pretty close if your Twitter back and forths are any inclination.”
He lets out a big laugh.
Dylan Shepherd: “Oh yeah, I'm totally hitting that."
Just then Rowen walked into the scene, she was dressed in her gear with sunglasses covering her eyes.
Rowen: "I definitely rock his world."
Dylan takes a moment and looks her over, biting his bottom lip.
Dylan Shepherd: “Daaaaamn. And damn right she does. But that’s not what we are here to talk about. We are here to let the whole roster know that Rowen is here to mess some fools up. Anyone who has seen her work elsewhere knows she's a badass in that ring.”
Rowen: "You just trying to get in my pants later?"
Rowen looked at Dylan with a flirtatious smile as he nodded his head, she then took her sunglasses off and placed them on Dylan's head.
Rowen: "Avery? I wouldn't sleep on me, I'm not new to this. This isn't my first time, I'm not afraid to take things to the next level. I'm going to beat you and show everyone just who Rowen Spencer is and what I can do."
Dylan gives a slow clap and smirks at Rowen.
Dylan Shepherd: “I know I wouldn't want to be on the other side of the ring from her. I'd get my ass kicked. All I would want is to hit her in a different way.”
He winks at Dante and gives him a playful elbow in the side.
Dylan Shepherd: “So Im looking forward to getting some nachos and watching a Ro Ro beat down.”
Rowen: "My biggest fan."
Rowen then turned her attention to Dante.
Rowen: "Does Avery even care about this match? Does she even know she has a match with me? Is she ready for the "ass-kicking" she's going to get from me?"
Dylan shook his head no.
Dylan Shepherd: “She ain’t ready!”
He puts her shades back on her and they start to walk away. Dylan gives her butt a playful smack just off camera where Rowen tells him to save it for after she wins.

BACKSTAGE
We open on #TheSociety members Seth Lawless and Warren Corbett backstage. Seth is sitting on top of a wooden stool that the pair have brought out into the hallway, possibly to get away from others. He tapes up his wrist, both titles sitting on his lap, as Warren paces back and forth, looking irritated. He fiddles with the collar of his open studded vest.
Warren Corbett: Two weeks ago we were supposed to defend these titles against Nina and Dylan Shepherd, in what turned into an ANARCHY rules tag match. I was ecstatic to learn this news, looked forward to it. NOT just to defend these titles and show people like Xavier, Jackal, and the Girls of Summer, what kind of team we are! That we DESERVE these belts! But also, being the former Anarchy Champion with the most successful defenses, I was basically foaming at the mouth to get inside that ring. The last minute change of the stipulation was an interesting choice, but I preferred it. Then came the change that we were no longer defending the tag belts, but NINA was actually going to be defending the Anarchy Championship…
He pauses, taking a moment to think over his next statement. Warren brings a hand up and places it under his chin, stroking his beard.
Warren Corbett: Now, I suppose I can give Nathan the benefit of the doubt and say that it’s POSSIBLE he believed he was doing us a favor. It’s POSSIBLE he believed that it was the best idea for us to not put the belts on the line, and it’s POSSIBLE that he even believed either Seth or I would walk out with the Anarchy title. However, what ended up happening is it increased their drive to get the pin by any means necessary. In the end, what the match itself did is provide yet another distraction for Paz to take advantage of. So despite nailing Dylan to the floor, Paz saw that we weren’t going to walk out with that belt too.
Warren rolled his eyes, before placing a hard and firm punch to the nearby wall.
Warren Corbett: I’ve been the victim of quick judgements one too many times. People look at me, look at the situation that I’m in and immediately judge me, speculating I must be some sort of trash person. I must be dirty, grimey, scum of the earth. So when I see these situations arise, such as Paz being SIGNED onto Liberation and literally only existing to pop up in other matches instead of having a match herself, I try not to immediately judge the situation. The last time I questioned Nathan, Becky told me to trust her and I do, but now it seems even Becky has questions. I’ll keep these judgements from being stone for now, but if the same thing happens over and over again…I don’t think I’ll have any other choice but to ACT on these judgements.
He takes his balled up fist and gently unclenches it, extending his fingers outward.
Warren Corbett: For now, we’re defending against TWO other teams at No Man’s Land III. A team we’ve had plenty of history with, the Girls of Summer, and a team we’ve just recently met, Jackal and X. Two very different motivations, to prove you still belong at the top or to make your first trip there. Both teams make the mistake of forgetting #TheSociety, but we’re used to it. Everyone wants to forget us, leave our name out in the list of Liberty Greats, despite us belonging there WITHOUT a doubt.
He picks up one of the belts from Seth, unfolding it in his arms and looking into the gold plate. The light bounced off as he moved it from side to side. A small chuckle before he turns back to the camera.
Warren Corbett: ANARCHY is my speciality. I once had to defend Tag Team Championships in a company that wouldn’t allow my family by my side. This is what I’m made for. But WITH my family by my side, together with my brother Seth, nothing is going to stop us from keeping this belts. We deserve them. Becky deserves the Liberty title. And we finally deserve recognition by the end of Day of Reckoning!
Seth looks at the titles and smiles.
Seth Lawless: Now I’m glad we still have these titles and tonight they’ll be high above the ring but at the end of the night we will keep them. Nothing is going to stop us from that goal it’s that simple. We deserve these titles and we aren’t going to give up that easily.
He smiles again.
Seth Lawless: We’ve been down before. Beaten wondering where our next meal would come from. Where we might sleep but we found wrestling we found something we were good at and look at us.
He holds one of the titles up so the camera is focused on it.
Seth Lawless: Fighting for these title with my brother is what I want what I need. I’ll do whatever it takes to keep these titles. I’ll fight my ass for these. You can talk about how we don’t have much momentum but you know what we will take it back and we will still be champions at the end of the night. I promise.
The two hold one title each, bringing them right up to the camera. Their eager faces reflect within the gold plates as the scene cuts.

MATCH TWO: SINGLES
Rowen Spencer vs Avery Smith
Rowen Spencer vs Avery Smith
RECAP The match began with an exchange of nods between Smith and Spencer. It’s followed up by a few minutes of both women getting a feel for one another. Nothing high risk this early on, we just see an exchange of collar and elbow lock ups. However a crisp hip toss from Spencer put Smith down on the mat. Rowen followed up with some quick attempts at pinning Smith. However, Avery’s not even close to being caught off her guard. Avery powers through every pin attempt, still Rowen worked her methodical pace. A few minutes into the bout and Avery fought herself back to her feet. It was a short lived victory, as Spencer was smothering her with offense. A snap suplex sent the champ back down into the canvas again. Instead of pin attempts, its grindy rest holds - all aimed at weathering down the champ. We move even deeper into the match, and it remains all Spencer. The story of this fight has been Grager scratching and clawing close to building some moment, all before things are snuffed out by her savvy opponent. Looking to put some panache in her match, Spencer decided to go high risk with a frog splash. A miscalculation that saw Smith manage to roll her way to safety. Avery got up quickly, not wasting what appeared to be her best chance at getting back into this match! She hit the ropes with a timed leap. Springing and turning her body, she extended her leg out for a sudden Springboard Enziguri. The kick landed square into Spencer’ face, and sent them both out with a double down. The crowd tries to energize the two women putting on a show with cheers. Slowly both women stir, getting back on their feet. Far fresher than Smith, Spencer was able to get the initial advantage of the reset. She peppered in a few elbow shots. Still Avery managed to whip Spencer into the corner. She barreled in right after, hitting a corner dropkick that floored Spencer. Feeling her chance on the horizon, Avery went vertical. She scaled the top rope, ready to go aerial. However, Spencer managed to reach her feet and cut off Smith. Avery started to kick out at Spencer, one particular kick sent with enough force that it sent Spencer bumping awkwardly into the official - taking him out. Rowen is distracted just enough, looking at the official before -"Spinning Around" (Wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm bicycle knee strike) from out of nowhere! The move rouses up the LPW fandom, and the former Anarchy Champion quickly went for the cover.... But no count. It seemed the official caught the bad end of an incidental elbow from Spencer, and was still reeling from the blow! Noticing there’s no count being made, Avery turned her efforts into reviving the official, letting Spencer roll out of the ring in a daze. A minute feels like ten, before Avery has the official moving slowly and coming to his senses. Smith looked to refocus her crosshairs on Spencer as she started to head to retrieve her from the outside… until we heard a thundering crack of a steel chair! The fans are hissing and booing at Rowen! She managed to get her hands on a chair from underneath the ring and used it to absolutely fold Smith! With a smile, Rowen kicked the foreign object back under the ring, all before sliding back inside of the squared circle. The fans were completely soured to see Rowen steal this one, as she hooked the legs - got the three count - and managed to pick up the win in her debut match. Oh, it’s completely clear that the two lovely multi-time Liberty Tag Team Champions are in a foul mood tonight, despite being dressed in their best ‘ladder match’ gear, in totally matching colors. That foul mood translates into vicious expressions and sharper words.
Coral: We are going to say this one time. Xavier Laroux? We saved you once, and we know you remember. So in the spirit of that, we’re offering you and your partner Jackal this chance. Let’s destroy The Society together, knock them completely out of this match… out of Liberty if we’re lucky enough… and once those two prissy little pissants are out of the way? It’s the two best teams left to take those championships.
Nami: Anyone but The Society, and Jackal? Ask Xavier, he can tell you … like us or not? We always keep our word, we always keep our promises. They stole from us, and if we can’t have them back? We’d want you two to have them. Because whether they give a shit about us or not? None of the other teams in Liberty stand a chance at this moment to take down The Society because they have the numbers game down pat and they always have.
Coral: So you cunty little bitches, we know you’re listening. We tried to do this the right way, and now we’re just going to do it our way.
Nami: Anyone. But. The. Society.

RINGSIDE
The crowd was on their feet, ready and excited for whatever was to be next. They didn't have to wait long as 'YOUR Favorite Drug' Xavier Laroux stepped out from the back. With no music playing, Xavier walked out to the middle of the stage, fully dressed to compete with a microphone in hand.
He stayed in one spot, his focus locked down onto that ring for a moment. Looking away from it, he glanced around at the cheering crowd who waited with anticipation for what he had to say. When he raised the microphone, they knew it was time to go.
Xavier Laroux: 'Kristian Jones..Michael Norcia..Sabra..my brother Gabriel..Geki Nitoh..and even Jackie Fowler for like five minutes. Those are the six people I've held Tag Team Championships with.
Six people who are so..fuckin..different from one another. Six people who I have been able to coexist with long enough to win gold. To defeat more well established teams that we had no right beatin. Say what you will bout me but fact is, I get shit done..I make shit work. And tonight? You're gonna see history repeat itself one..more..time.'
Xavier began walking down that ramp, headed straight for the ring. Rolling in under the bottom set of ropes, Laroux popped up to his feet, that arrogant smirk breaking out across his face.
Xavier Laroux: 'The Girls of Summer, they wanna do exactly what I wanna do in this match. Take the belt off that cueball fuck and his fluffer partner. Long as The Society doesn't walk outta this match with the win then it's a success.
See, Bex and her two little fuckin lapdogs, they put themselves into these situations. They storm these places and then cry when people rise up against them. They wanna jump people then bitch and moan and complain when it's turned around on them.
They wanna do everythin in their power to give themselves every advantage imaginable..but when someone else gets an advantage? It's the end of the fuckin world. But that ends tonight. Tonight, we're takin the gold. Not The Girls. But another thrown together Xavier Laroux team that fuckin pulls through when it matters most.'
Setting the microphone down onto the top turnbuckle long enough to pull that tanktop off, he pitched it to the side before grabbing it back up.
Xavier Laroux: 'As everyone knows..when I want somethin? I don't stop. There's no line I won't cross. There's NOTHIN I won't do to get what I want, whether it be a person, a thing, an accomplishment, anythin it may be. And tonight..I want the gold off of Seth and Warren. And that's EXACTLY what I'm gonna get.'
Laroux tossed the microphone off to the side as he awaited the entrance of his fine ass partner.

The camera cuts to the backstage area where we focus upon a beautiful display of tiaras all lined up on a table covered in a black silk sheet. Standing behind the table is Hilary Levandrier who makes a grand gesture with her hands to make sure the audience properly takes in the display.
Hilary Levandrier: I had a shot at the Queen of New York championship before and Cait made sure to cheat so she could keep her greedy hands on a reign that is rather questionable at best. What kind of a Queen is a woman who looks down on everyone with her false sense of superiority? A joke.
Hilary snorts slightly with a roll of her eyes.
Hilary Levandrier: Not to mention leaving me high and dry when we were supposed to be tag team partners. All you did was paint a target on your back for me to crush you down under my boots so finally Liberty can have a Queen the public will adore. A Queen the public will respect. Above all? A Queen who looks damn cute in a tiara.
There is now a smile on Hilary's face as she picks up one of the tiaras, the one with the most beautiful and bright jewels surrounding it, and she places it on her head. Hilary gives the camera a little wave of her hand for her own personal amusement.
Hilary Levandrier: It's time to bow down to Queen Hilary of House Levandrier and what a beautiful thing that is. Payback, much like you, is a real bitch Cait.
Hilary winks as the camera cuts away.

Girls of Summer vs #TheSociety vs Xavier Laroux & Jackal
Girls of Summer vs #TheSociety vs Xavier Laroux & Jackal
RECAP As the bell rang, the six individuals broke off into three different ever-changing groups. The action came hard and fast, and it was difficult to keep your eyes on a certain pair. The ring became overwhelming before long, and Warren began to run around, giving a strong lariat to anyone he could to get them over the ropes. He nails Coral over the ropes, and then turns to nail Xavier as well. However X holds on, causing Warren to topple the ropes as well. Warren gets to his feet before X, striking him back down with a hard forearm. X battles back, trying to get to his feet and receives a headbutt back down again! Warren turns back, heading towards the ring – but Coral comes from out of nowhere, leaping off the steel steps into a snap hurricanrana that sends Warren into the barricade! X gets to his feet, coming face to face with Coral, before but turn back to Warren who is also stirring. Xavier locks his arms around Warren’s waist and launches into a german suplex directly after Coral hits a dropkick. Warren’s head smashes into the steps! Jackal, Nami and Seth remain in the ring with Seth striking Nami in the corner. Jackal comes running over with a huge splash into the corner, sandwiching Nami and Seth. Lawless crumbles to the floor and rolls out as Nami stumbles out of the corner. She stumbles right into Jackal’s arms who scoops her up and powerslams her back down to the mat. Nami rolls out of the ring and to the ground below. Seeing this and already on the outside, Coral comes to check on Nami. Still on the outside himself, Xavier grabs a ladder from underneath the ring, leaning it against the ropes and leaving it for Jackal to pick up with her strength and lift into the ring. He grabs out a second ladder as well, letting Jackal scoop up the second one into the ring as well. Jackal and Xavier showing great teamwork. They both get into the ring, climbing a ladder each. However, Seth chooses Xavier’s ladder and begins climbing himself, nailing X with fists. From her ladder, Jackal starts to reach out to hit Seth off of Xavier. Lawless leaps off, grabbing both X and Jackal’s heads for a modified double bulldog off the ladders! Seth and X hit the canvas and remain there as Jackal hits and rolls out. On the outside, the Girls of Summer have continued what Coral had started in focusing on Warren, possibly The Society members one at a time. They help him to his feet and each grab an arm, trying to go for a double whip. He plants his feet, the GoS unable to move him. The girls look at one another, before simultaneously kicking Warren in the gut, before executing their double whip back into the steel steps for Warren! In the ring, Seth and Xavier have both gone to different sides of the ring, using the ropes to help themselves up. They rush towards one another, X ducking a right hand from Seth, nailing him with an implant DDT. X hits the ropes, bounding back before smashing Seth with a curb stomp back to the mat. Xavier looks on as Seth struggles to his feet, again using the ropes. Xavier rushes him, and Lawless pulls the ropes! X lands on the apron, managing to hold on and step back into the ring…but is nailed with a chair by Coral! Seth doesn’t have much time to celebrate though as the Girls of Summer have now thrown their focus to Seth. Nami flattens Seth with her own chair a moment later. They roll Seth to the corner, sitting him down with the chair against him. First Coral runs and hits a baseball slide dropkick into the chair and thus into Seth’s face! The same is repeated immediately after by Nami! They’re dealing a lot of damage but not focusing much on grabbing the titles suspended above the ring. Nor have they focused on the other team in the match as much. Thus, Nami isn’t expecting it when she’s getting to her feet and Jackal smashes her with a gigantic big boot. Nami sails through the second rope to the outside. Coral grabs Jackal from behind, spinning her around and whipping her to the other side of the side. Jackal reverses, before bounding back herself and spearing Coral through the ropes! Both women end up on the outside of the ring. Unfortunately, Nami has landed right near they had last left Corbett. He picks her up off the floor, smashing her head into the side of the ring. She walks one side outside the ring with Warren stalking her. He grabs her, spinning her around and lifting her up by the neck for a chokebomb onto the hard ground below! Nami is in a world of trouble, when Coral comes to the rescue, kneeing Warren in the back of the head as he’s getting to his feet. Coral grabs hold of Warren’s arm, applying a hammerlock as Warren is getting up again. With the hammerlock still applied, she swings him around for a hammerlock neckbreaker, before helping Nami back to her feet. Together they start to lay into Warren with stomps. However, again they’ve forgotten about Jackal who is still on the outside. Jackal comes in with a hard closeline to Coral, knocking her down to the ground with force. Nami jumps onto Jackal, and Jackal holds her in a bearhug instead. Nami begins to land a few right hands, before Jackal gives her a belly-to-belly. All four people on the outside get up at the same time, and begin to throw right hands every which way. Coincidentally, both Warren and Jackal get the upperhand, and have the GoS each in a powerbomb position. They look over to each other, before powerbombing both girls ONTO the barricade! The crowd roars! With both Girls of Summer on the ground, Warren and Jackal look to each other, the People of Hoss Nation look to one another and inch closer, sizing each other up. The crowd is on their feet, just as the tension boils over and the two come to blows, trading right hands back and forth. Inside the ring, Xavier was back onto his feet and looking in a great position. He checks to see if the ladder is firmly in the middle of the ring before he begins his ascent. He’s about halfway up when Seth gets to his feet as well, having been slumped in the corner. He grabs the second ladder and leans it up against Xavier’s ladder. He checks the stability and it’s not the greatest, but with Xavier near the top he needs to think fast. He hits the ropes and bounds back straight up the slanted ladder! Seth’s weight and the steps he’s taking on the ladder don’t give it enough time to steady between steps. Thus as he bounds up the side, the ladder shakes furiously. Since the weight of the first ladder is on Xavier’s ladder, it also begins to shake. Laroux is at the top now though, swaying a bit but reaching for the belts. BUT here comes Seth. The ladders sway too hard and the one leaning becomes unhinged, crashing back to the canvas, but not before Seth takes his final step and LEAPS to the hook above. He VERY NARROWLY collides with Xavier but holds onto the hook as he starts to swing. The force brings him back around, and again Xavier is narrowly knocked from his perch. The commotion in the ring stops Jackal and Warren’s blows on the outside. Seth somehow drops to one hand swinging, and unlatches the belts with his other, before dropping to the canvas below in a tuck and roll motion. Seth continues rolling and rolls out of the ring completely, where Warren meets him on the other side. Jackal rolls back into the ring to meet up with her partner, and she stands at the base of the ladder, looking up the ramp. Xavier, too, looks up the ramp, still at the very top of the ladder and bewildered how the win could be so close but stolen right from under him. Warren and Seth back up the ramp with the titles, Seth leaning on Warren for support but a definite grin on their faces. Not that they had a choice with Big Ass Bobby there, arms crossed at his chest while Marisol and Ricky had some poor member of the custodial staff cornered, talking his ear off.
Ricky Rodriguez: Y'know Jimmy. I'm gonna kick Reaper's ass tonight. Hundred percent. No doubt in my mind that Ima do it. And do you know why I knowww Ima do that?
Jimmy the Custodian: I really don't..
Ricky Rodriguez: Well, it's a buncha reasons really. It's cause of the Vilaro System, for one. It's legit the best fuckin program out there. Even a beer belly like yours can be worked on if you just..y'know..actually put the work in instead of just pushin a broom.

All Jimmy could do was sigh after looking down at his pretty round belly. He knew.
Ricky Rodriguez: It's Marisol herself. Just bein around her inspires me to push myself to be better. To push myself to that next level. Have you ever seen someone who inspires with her just bein there? This woman is the totalll package, Jimmy. Talent, got the mind, hot as hell. Can you think of anythin she lacks?
Jimmy the Custodian: Uhh..
Ricky Rodriguez: Nothin.

Marisol Vilaro: Aww, thank you Ricky just by being in the marvelous presence of Mari, your life can be improved. I know what you’re thinking, the last show wasn’t my best but you know what I got out of it because of my inspiration and inspired nature? I got a shot at the Noir Title, a title shot I don’t plan on missing out on.

Marisol Vilaro: So Jimmy, do you not yet feel inspired?
Jimmy The Custodian: Uhhhh….

Ricky Rodriguez: She said twice.
He held up two fingers in Jimmy's face to emphasize his point.
Ricky Rodriguez: Twice Jimmy. See, Reaper doesn't scare me. He doesn't intimidate me. Just like I did before..I'm gonna get right up in his face and I'm gonna punch'em in the mouth. I'm not gonna back down from Reaper or anyone else for that matter. This is my match to win just as much as that Noir Championship is Mari's to win.

That ultimate x match the best conditioned athlete is going to win and that is obviously me! I mean there's a lot of talent in the match but the Noir title wouldn't look any better than when it's around my waist because I will climb the tallest mountain to succeed, so will Ricky, he will take down the monster and teach him a valuable lesson.

We open with a close-up shot of Antoinette Sands. Her head in the center of the video, only a black background stands behind her as she speaks.
Antoinette: Girls…I need your help! You see, as you know I’m in for the literal FIGHT of my life, here! Never in my whole career have I been in a match that could change my life forever! I mean, my life has already changed forever and this is just the start! But…it’s not just any kind of match! It’s a steel cage match! I know people aren’t used to me getting down like that, heck…I’ve never gotten down like that before! I guess what I’m trying to say is…
Antoinette squints her eyes and shakes her head at the bright lights.
Antoinette: I need your help! I need your help preparing for this!
For the first time since the start of the video, it cuts away from Antoinette to show her sister-in-law Ashley Sands sitting behind a desk and leaning back into a pink fuzzy gaming chair. In Ashley’s arms is an extremely lifelike Grogo doll that looks like it is purring as she strokes its head. Ashley Marie Chase is standing beside the chair, arms crossed and looking ready to beat someone within an inch of their life.
Ashley Sands: You come to us after we spayed the Bitches In Heat and on the eve of Day of Reckoning with this request for our help. They look to be distracted but we can’t take them for granted. So being distracted isn’t a good idea. And yet you come to us as a matter of convenience. Did you pick up the phone to tell us you were giving Markus your hand in marriage? Are we going to have a place of honor at the reception? Will you refuse us when we want to take you on an excursion of alcohol and debauchery on the night before you are to be married?
Antoinette Sands: Girls, when Markus proposed… I had a million things going on. I was… excited. Be my friends… sisters.
Ashley looks up to AMC and gives a nod before sitting the doll on the desk. Once Ashley stands up, the pair move around the desk to where Antoinette stands up.
Ashley Sands: We’re going to help you with this thing. In exchange, and this day will only come the night before you are to be married, we ask that you trust us with your bachelorette party of booze and strippers. I have to caution you though, this training won’t be easy on your mind or body.
Antoinette Sands: I’m not afraid.
Ashley Sands: You will be…. You will be.
Try to be best
‘Cause you're only a man
And a man's gotta learn to take it
A guitar starts to play as we now see Antoinette running. Sweat drips heavily from her forehead as the close-up focuses on the young challenger. After a few seconds, a couple of figures can be seen stretching behind her before we see a wider shot of Antoinette pulling a cart with Ashley and AMC sitting on cushioned seats. A stereo sits between them loudly playing the music to motivate Antoinette.
Try to believe
Though the going gets rough
That you gotta hang tough to make it
AMC: The sooner we get there the sooner the real training can start.
Ashley Sands: And when get there.
AMC and Ashley Sands: We’re here to pump…
History repeats itself
Try and you'll succeed
Never doubt that you're the one
And you can have your dreams!
The pair clap hands in unison and point at Antoinette still running in front to pull them.
AMC and Ashley Sands: … You up!
The next we see of the trio, they are standing in a wide fenced-in area. Ashley is holding a pigeon that seems surprisingly calm.
Ashley Sands: Let’s be honest, Ant. None of us are going to be winning any strong-girl competitions. So we have to rely on our speed. That’s where Pesto the Goodfeather comes in. If you can catch him, you can catch anyone trying to get out of that cage.
Ashley throws the pigeon out in front of her, its wing flapping frantically as it goes to the ground while AMC is throwing pieces of bread on the ground. Antoinette reaches out only to have the bird slip through her fingers. Ashley joins AMC in throwing bread on the ground to make sure the bird stays there instead of flying away.

You're the Best!

Ashley Sands: Catch that pigeon, Ant!
Standing in a much more open area, Ashley stands in front of Antoinette holding a small black dachshund dog. It looks at Antoinette happily and tries to reach its little paws out to her, the wheels it is wearing to support its hind legs squeaking with the movement.
Fight ‘til the end
Cause your life will depend
On the strength that you have inside you
Ashley Sands: This is Chorizo and he’ll be helping you with this exercise.
Antoinette moves to hug the small dog but Ashley takes a step back.
Ashley Sands: Ah ah no! Wrestling is a hard business, Ant and most people in it aren’t as nice as you. You’re going to have to be mean in that cage. Ruthless. So no matter how much you want, you can’t hug Chorizo. Or else.
Ah you gotta be proud
Starin' out in the cloud
When the odds in the game defy you
With a look to the side, AMC is standing near an ant hill holding a can of Raid insect killer and sprays a burst menacingly into the air. We go back to Antoinette chasing after the pigeon while her friends cheer her on and throwing bread on the ground. Set on the ground, Chorizo barks happily and starts running towards Antoinette. She starts to reach down but remembers that she cannot hug him and screams before running away. Wheels squeaking with him, Chorizo gives chase and pursues Antoinette running in a circle.
Try your best to win them all
And one day time will tell
When you're the one that's standing there
You'll reach the final bell!
Ashley Sands: That’s it, Ant! Resist the power of the cuteness!
High-pitched barking and wheels squeaking mixed with Antoinette’s screams for the dog to stay away, things changed to AMC and Ashley cheering her on as she finally catches the grey bird and holds it high overhead as the video fades out.

MATCH FOUR: SINGLES
Scotty Latimer vs Kenzie
Scotty Latimer vs Kenzie
RECAP The first thing to notice as they both came down was there was nobody at ringside for either. More noticeably, no sign of Ricky or Marisol, so it seemed as if Kenzie was going to go through with this match as clean as possible. The bell rings and Latimer is already quick with the right hands, first backing her into the ropes and bounding her off. He runs towards her though, connecting with a slingblade. As she gets up, he continues by backing Kenzie up into the turnbuckle and laying into her with multiple right hands. He continues punching to her gut without stopping to take a breather, letting out all his pent up aggression. Kenzie has her guard up, protected as much as possible but Scotty is still landing blows. The only thing she can think to do is headbutt him. He staggers back, surprised more than anything, and tries to rush Kenzie again. She puts her legs up, kicking Latimer to the head. Kenzie rushes out of the turnbuckle and nails Scotty with a leaping closeline that brings him down to the canvas. She doesn’t allow for any breather herself, as she leaps into a moonsault knee drop across Latimer’s gut. She takes a moment to taunt her fans as Latimer rolls around with her gut clenched. She takes a little too long, allowing Scotty to recover. He gets to his feet and rushes Kenzie again, spearing her BACK into the turnbuckle she came from. He lands an elbow to her noggin, before hitting a running splash into the corner. Kenzie is staggering out of the turnbuckle, but Latimer scoops her up into a t-bone suplex that connects with the turnbuckle! He picks Kenzie up again, this time giving her a Dart that sees her face connect with the bottom turnbuckle pad. Latimer is showing aggression he hasn’t been able to show for a bit now. He doesn’t even try for the pin. He grabs hold of Kenzie’s arm, yanking her to her feet and hoists her up on his shoulders. He runs to the turnbuckle again, this time placing her on top of the turnbuckle. He climbs to the second rope, landing a few right hands, but Kenzie begins to battle back until she pushes Latimer off! He lands on his feet though, running and jumping back up to the second rope. Kenzie battles back again, but Latimer is swinging recklessly and wild, causing her to fall off! She holds onto the ropes though, bringing herself back into the seated position atop the turnbuckle, and continues fighting with Scotty. Kenz brings up her knee, kneeling Latimer in the gut, before grabbing him around the waist and jumping off for a top rope belly-to-belly! The crowd roars as they hit the canvas, and Kenzie lays atop Latimer. One…Two…Kickout! Kenz doesn’t look the happiest, but she rolls to the ropes to use them in assisting her to her feet. She rushes Scotty as he gets up, hitting a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. She keeps hold of his head within her legs though, bringing him down to the canvas and keeping him there. She grabs his arm, locking in a painful armbar. He groans out in pain, but tries to fight against it. Kenzie scissors her legs, kicking Scotty in the face multiple times before reeling back on the armbar again! But no such luck for Kenzie, Scotty won’t tap. He finally has enough leverage to get up on his side and give Kenz a hard forearm, making her break the hold. She rolls through and onto her feet, kneeling him in the face with a basement knee. Latimer uses the ropes this time, but ends up on the apron. Kenzie gives him a spinning backfist that almost makes him fall from the apron but he holds on. She uses the ropes to lock in a tarantula type move, reeling back. Unfortunately, Latimer uses this to his advantage, tossing Kenzie’s legs over his shoulders and hoisting her up altogether. He jumps off the apron, delivering a somoan drop onto the ground below! What is Latimer thinking!? The referee begins the count, and Kenzie looks mighty hurt. Scotty gets her to her feet and rolls her into the ring, followed by himself. He tries for a pin. One…Two…Kickout! Scotty is irritated! He stalks Kenzie as she gets up, hunched over in a three-point stance position. As she turns around he lunges forward, bringing his leg up and kicking wildly with a yakuza kick. BUT! Kenzie pushes the referee in front of herself as a shield, to protect against Latimer’s recklessness. Kenz looks guilty for a moment but she isn’t able to cry any tears for the poor referee as Latimer is still on agro mode. He doesn’t even flinch at hitting the wrong person, kicking Kenzie in the midsection and following it up with a flip piledriver! He hooks Kenzie’s leg for a pin!...but there’s no count…because there’s no referee. Realizing he may have made a mistake, he releases the pin. It’s now that the “Inspired” as Kenzie calls them, begin to make their way down to the ring and gun right for Latimer. The first one slides into the ring but Scotty is ready for them, giving him a hard lariat to the mat. The second one slides in and eats and spinning spinebuster. The third one climbs in and gets sents to the outside with a powerbomb. The fourth one he plants with a DDT in the middle of the ring! Latimer yells out, his veins near popping. But wait! Scotty hasn’t realized that Kenzie is back on her feet. She lands a dropkick to his back, sending him into the corner, giving the audience “Wake up” taunt before following it up with a Blinding Arrow (running corner front dropkick). She looks elated as the referee comes to, making a count. One…two…thr-kickout!! Latimer PUSHES his shoulder up at the last moment, causing a bewildered look on Kenzie’s face. She thought for sure she had it. She gets back to her feet, waiting for Latimer to get to his before striking with a rolling wheel kick. Again she stalks him as he’s getting to his feet, about to put the final nail in the coffin, no doubt. She lifts her leg up to deliver a kick to the midsection, but Scotty catches her leg! Kenz tries to push him off but he holds it firm, shaking his head from side to side, as the audience cheers. Latimer swings Kenzie’s leg to the right, causing her to spin out of control. When she spins back around, He grabs hold of her, planting a perfect Final Wave (Blade Runner), quickly hooking her leg as the referee counts. One…Two…Three! WINNER Scotty Latimer METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 14:11 FINISHING MOVE Final Wave POST MATCH The crowd cheers and Latimer is overjoyed! He isn’t able to celebrate at all though, as Marisol and Ricky are instantly down in the ring and stomping away on him. Ricky continues stomping away as Marisol helps Kenzie to her feet. Ricky gets Latimer up, delivering a few more punches before hosting him up into an electric chair drop position. Kenzie and Marisol stand together, almost looking as if they’re about to compete in a three-legged race. Ricky launches Scotty’s off his shoulders, delivering an electric chair drop but remains standing, only grabbing Scotty’s legs on the way down. As Latimer comes closer to the canvas, Marisol and Kenzie simultaneously BOTH hit a single-leg codebreaker for a devastating three person move. Kenzie may have not gotten the win, but the three of them stand tall over Latimer. |
BACKSTAGE
We go backstage where Dante Chapel has one of the six competitors in the upcoming Ultimate X match standing by, the large intimidating TAURUS stands there with his arms crossed, the hood of his robe up covering most of his face, though it can’t hide the fact he clearly doesn’t want to be here.
Dante Chapel: Hello Liberty Pro I am Dante Chapel and right now I have ONE of the SIX people that will be competing for the Noir Championship later on tonight. Did you get that big guy? There are SIX people in the match, not eight, seven, nine, or ten. I just want to make sure you understand that since it seems you had some trouble with that during the week.
TAURUS pushes back the hood of his robe and starts Dante down. His arm suddenly shoots out and he grabs Dante’s shirt, yanking him close and lifting him off the ground as he just growls in his face. He puts Dante back on solid footing but keeps a hold of his shirt.
TAURUS: I’m gonna give you one chance to adjust your tone and ask a proper question, or else Imma drag you out to that ring, make it a seven-person match and six asses I gotta kick.
He shoves Dante back a little and crosses his arms again. Dante is a bit shaken and taken aback, but he smooths out his shirt, takes a breath, and regains his composure here.
Dante Chapel: Hey just because you don’t know how to properly count and will definitely be losing another match tonight, doesn’t mean you have to take it out on me.
TAURUS just stares him down and reaches out, but this time he takes the mic and then just shoves Dante out of the shot. He turns and stares straight at the camera.
TAURUS: Don’t matter what that twat says, what that cuntrag Junior Hardy days, what some bird that ain’t even part of the match says, or what any of the other FOUR people in this match have to say. I’m going out there, putting boots in faces and asses, showing my raw bloody power, climbing up them stupid little cables, and snatching that title. But even if getting that title doesn’t end up happening, I can guarantee you that the ass-kicking will.
TAURUS just throws the mic and storms off. The camera turns to see him nearly boot Dante Chapel in the face, but he screams and ducks out of the way, cowering as he yells “not the face” before we fade to black.

EARLIER TONIGHT
The limo that pulled into the underground parking lot at Madison Square Garden was sleek and matte black. Clearly something bespoke and not the cheap rentals that bigger names than Atticus Cassian were arriving in.
Sunday K. Love stepped out first, clad in a perfectly tailored black leather pencil skirt and a black leather harness over a long sleeve black turtleneck. The look was both sleek and trendy with a little bit of edge. She was consulting the iPad in her hand, making a few notes with her Apple Pencil as Atticus Cassian slid out of the limo behind her.
Sunday tucked the iPad into her shoulder bag, Balenciaga, of course. With her hands free, she signed to Atticus.
Sunday K. Love: Okay, so you’ve got to do at least half an hour with the fans…
Atticus made a face and signed something back at her and Sunday rolled her eyes.
Sunday K. Love: Yeah, you’ve made it abundantly clear that you don’t give a shit about having fans but that’s kind of how you become a big deal in this industry, you big dumb bald fuck.
She glanced around surreptitiously to make sure the camera hadn’t caught her in 4K. As far as she could tell, Atticus couldn’t read lips and she hadn’t signed that last part to him but the last thing she needed was someone else running their mouth.
Sunday K. Love: Fans equal asses in seats, equal tickets sold, equal merch sold, equal you have a nice long career and win lots of shiny belts and eventually I get to get the fuck out of here and actually go see about my own dreams. So. You’ve got to do at least a half hour with the fans and then we’ve got a quick interview for some dumb podcast and then the match…
Atticus heaved a sigh.
Sunday K. Love: This whole thing was your idea.
She said, sweetly.
Atticus signed something back impatiently and Sunday’s smile turned sinister.
Sunday K. Love: Of course I brought them.
She patted her bag.
Sunday K. Love: One for Markus and one for Brianna. There’s no way I let you walk out of here without the Gotham championship on your shoulder.
As another limo began to pull into the parking garage, Atticus signed something rapidly to Sunday who nodded and the two of them hefted their gear bags and made for their locker room backstage.

MATCH FIVE: SINGLES
Ricky Rodriguez vs Reaper
Ricky Rodriguez vs Reaper
RECAP Ricky wastes no time in targeting Reaper, determined to score a victory over him after Reaper made quick work of Vilaro and foiled their attempt to get even. Notably, Ricky has arrived alone here. Neither Marisol nor Bobby are at ringside to support Ricky, something that Ricky both notices and points out, claiming loudly that he doesn’t need backup to take down the big man. Once the match begins though, Reaper quickly overpowers Rodriguez and forces him to the corner, forcing Ricky to rethink his strategy. He slips out beneath Reaper’s arms, turning behind him and trying to attack from behind. Reaper tanks the blows, absorbing Ricky’s angry shots to his back before he’s able to turn around and shove Ricky away, sending the much smaller man tumbling across the ring. In a heartbeat, Ricky is right back on his feet, knowing better than to get caught off guard against the Sentinel. Ricky utilizes his speed and some impressive technical ability, finding new ways to slip free and reverse whenever Reaper gets his hands on him. He turns Reaper’s headlock into his own waistlock. He turns a wristlock into a hammerlock. Reaper has shown wrestling ability in the past, but Ricky clearly has him outmatched in technique, with the big man proving to be TOO big, and unable to keep hold of someone who can so easily slip free of his clutches. On the other side, Ricky can’t seem to land a blow that rattles Reaper. For every reversal, Ricky tries to follow up with an attack to wear Reaper down, but aside from a swinging DDT that saw a rare stumble that put Reaper on the ground, Ricky proved unable to even take Reaper off his feet. Reaper found his opening in the midpoint of the match. Ricky hit a drop toehold that, instead of bringing Reaper to the mat, sent him stumbling. Reaper caught himself in the corner, and Ricky was quick to jump on his back, locking in a sleeper. Reaper swung around, trying to reach Ricky, but the more he struggled, the tighter Ricky’s hold became, and it wasn’t long before the lack of oxygen took its toll. Reaper dropped to one knee, fading slowly. Ricky cranked harder. Reaper shook his head and slowly got back to his feet. He threw himself back into the corner, flattening Ricky against the pad and forcing him to release the hold. Now it was Reaper on the attack. Heavy blows rained down on Ricky until the referee began to count. Reaper utilized a count of one before he backed off, giving Ricky time to recover. Ricky clung to the ropes, using the rope break as a safe haven from Reaper’s onslaught. Ricky slowly emerged from the corner. Reaper approached, only for Rodriguez to leap up with a sharp enzuigiri that rattled the big man! Reaper stumbled backwards to the ropes. He hit them, rebounding back and raised his boot for a K.I.A. Ricky had it scouted and ducked the boot, rushing to the ropes and springboarding. Reaper turns to see Ricky attempting his To The Top springboard cutter… no! Reaper checks Ricky with his shoulder, LAUNCHING Ricky up and crashing to the mat. Ricky scrambled to his feet… K.I.A. connects! Ricky is turned inside-out by the boot to the skull, and he looks to be laid out! Reaper is about to cover, but the tumultuous boos from the crowd catch his attention. He looks to the stage, where people point and scream, Big Ass Bobby emerges from the back, pushing along… an empty wheelchair? Reaper turns back on Ricky, who’s pulled himself to a seated position against the rope. He laughs and puts on an expression of mock surprise, pointing at the chair and shrugging as if he had no idea how it got there or who it belongs to. The fans’ boos drown out whatever Ricky is saying, but there’s only one person in Liberty confined to a wheelchair, and it’s evident that the fans, Reaper, and the commentary team all know who it is. Reaper looks to Bobby, who cracks his taped knuckles and smirks. Reaper turns back to Ricky, who has burst into sadistic laughter. He yells at Reaper about how he warned Reaper he wouldn’t know what hit him. Reaper approaches, lifting Ricky off the mat and dragging him by the neck to the corner. He has Ricky’s jaw in his hand, forcing Ricky to look up at his threatening glare, and for a moment Ricky almost looks… afraid? The referee clearly senses the danger and steps in, putting a hand on Reaper’s chest and warning him against going too far. Reaper nods slowly and steps back, releasing Ricky’s jaw. Ricky slips away, putting as much distance between himself and the Sentinel as possible. Reaper glances back up at Bobby, who taps his wrist as if to say “Time is ticking!” Reaper looks from Bobby, to the chair, and back to Ricky, then looks to the referee and gives an apologetic bow. He steps out of the ring and races up the ramp, where Bobby snidely steps out of the way and taunts Reaper as he passes. Back at ringside, the fans give an encouraging round of applause, as they might for an injured star walking off the field. Ricky slowly stands, watching Reaper disappear behind the curtain, and as soon as Reaper vanishes from sight, furious boos rain down on Ricky and Bobby. The referee is forced to make the count, but it’s evident that Reaper’s priorities are elsewhere, and he isn’t coming back. This only fuels Ricky’s glee, and now, fully recovered from the K.I.A., Ricky takes a victory lap around the ring, boasting his HUGE win over Reaper as the bell rings. This video promo package opens up showing a little blonde girl standing in front of the outside of a wrestling ring. There’s a group of students practicing drills inside the ring, captivating the young woman on the outside, making her slowly walk around the ring. A voice could be heard on the screen.
“Ever since I could remember, wrestling has been a huge part of my life. It runs in my blood. I am more than just a family name, and I am more than just a stomping stone in other people’s way to their own success. I am the fire ant.” The familiar voice is revealed to be one of three people in the number one contender’s match for the Liberty Championship. More flashback footage of a young Antoinette is shown, giving a glimpse into her past.
The video then transitions into Antoinette a few years ago, fresh into her wrestling career. Hopefulness is all over the young woman’s face throughout the montage of her training and fighting different matches. “I’ve worked my ass off to have a good comeback. I’ve been away from this business for a couple years, but when I came to Liberty I made it my mission to show the world that I was someone that was going to be a top dog in this business, and tonight is the start of that. Tonight, Main Event Ant is here.” The footage then pans to a flashback of Liberation sixty-three of Antoinette’s debut triple threat match against NV Payton and Skylar Rayner. Scene after scene it takes us down memory lane of match after match, misfortune after misfortune, attack after attack.
“In life you are bound to be faced with obstacles trying to throw you off your game. But it is all about how you bounce back from those obstacles. Tonight, not only am I going to become Liberty Champion but I am going to show that the good guys can win!” Another montage is shown of more fights in Liberty, including her number one contenders for the Gotham Championship. The scene closes up on her face as she loses the match, taking in the defeat.
“The Liberty Universe has seen this face way too many times from me. It is time that you all see triumph and magic. It is time that the ANTNATION get their hero and the little girls out there watching see that one day, they can too make it to the top. This match is the fight of my life. Not only is it the biggest match of my career, but it is a statement.” Antoinette’s voice trails off before footage of a modern day Antoinette is shown walking around an empty Madison Square Garden taking in the size of the arena. Dressed in jean shorts and her Liberty Pro hoodie, she walks around the ring with the steel cage covering it before placing her hand on the cool steel. “This is the FIRE ANT Era!” Antoinette’s voice finishes up as the scene closes in on her shaking the cage amping herself.
The stars above are magnificent. Their reflection along with the moon's magnificent double, move through the waves of the ocean before us.
Kneeling on the sand before the surf, is Erik Malone. In between the vast body of water and the minute figure of Erik is a small campfire, a 3 foot piece of Beachwood, and a mortar and pestle. On top of the wood are 5 empty canisters with the lids laid in front of each canister.
The lids are labeled with the following:
Barnacle tears
Starfish fingers
Sea foam
Hair of a gull
Ashes of Valiant
Erik begins to crush the remnants of these canisters, while suddenly speaking.
Erik Malone: There is no need for storytelling. Why bother? Mama ain't got time for any ballyhoo ga ga. Melissa I'll get straight to it, luv. We needed an entry point into Liberty. Mama said choose. I chose you cuz.

Reaper is seen searching the halls, looking frantically for the helpless body of Chloe Collins. He stops here and there, asking any passerby he finds if they’ve seen her, only for staff to shake their heads and back away, not wanting to get in the way of the soldier. He looks angry and… maybe a little scared as he continues down the hall towards the office of Nathan Callaghan.
In his panic, Reaper forgets his own strength. Wood splinters from the doorframe as he hurriedly busts through the door, and he expects to find chaos but instead finds… Chloe Collins, sitting across the desk from Nathan, casually sipping her coffee from the comfort of her wheelchair.
Chloe Collins: “They’re going to make us pay for that door.”
Nathan waves it off. Reaper looks at Chloe in disbelief, sputtering for a moment.
Reaper: “You-... but-... how…”
Chloe peers over the top of her cup, raising an eyebrow at Reaper.
Chloe Collins: “Is everything okay?”
Reaper runs his hands through his hair. It’s slowly dawning on him what’s transpired: Bobby never laid a hand on Chloe. As if on cue, Big Ass Bobby himself appears in the hallway, pushing the chair he’d gotten his hands on, which now seats a very smug looking Ricky Rodriguez. Ricky peers into the room, spotting Collins at the desk, Nathan’s amused expression, and Reaper’s irate reaction, and he gives a sarcastic smile.
Ricky Rodriguezl: “Oh good! You found her.”
Reaper is about to say something, but Ricky and Bobby go off down the hall, quite pleased with themselves.
Chloe Collins: “What was that all about?”
Reaper shakes his head, closing the office door with an irritated expression… only for the door to slowly creak open thanks to the shattered lock.
Chloe Collins: “We’ll send a check for the door.”
Nathan Callaghan: “Don’t worry about it.”
Chloe Collins: “It seems I have some damage control to handle. Shall we continue this conversation at tomorrow night’s event?”
Nathan Callaghan: “We’ll see. I’ve got an important guest arriving to discuss business and enjoy the show. I’ll let you know.”
Chloe gives a silent nod and wheels herself to the monster in the doorway. She gives Reaper a stern look, which takes the giant by surprise.
Chloe Collins: “Let’s go. And call Mason on the way. We have things to discuss.”

MATCH SIX: QONY CHAMPIONSHIP
Cait Flanagan vs Hilary Levandrier
Cait Flanagan vs Hilary Levandrier
RECAP As we all know, any King/Queen of New York Championship match is decided within an anything goes match, so we all knew this was going to be a crazy one from the get. As the two women made their way out to the ring, there was already an assortment of items that had been scattered outside of the ring, giving them plenty of options for the match from forward. Cait didn’t look super pleased, given she doesn’t enjoy hardcore matches, but she’s still the QONY Champion and knew she’d have to do it. She’s just doing it with an eyeroll, pretending everything around her is dirty and grimey, as Hilary looks more than eager. As the bell rings, the two are cautious of one another, circling around. It’s Hilary that makes the first move, landing a sick uppercut that bounds Cait off the ropes into an arm drag. Cait rolls through and gets a push kick from Hilary down to the canvas. Cait tries to surprise Hilary by popping upward, but Hilary catches her into a monkey flip. Hilary rolls out of the ring, tossing in a chair under the ropes, and then grabbing a kendo stick. She gets back into the ring and smacks Cait across the back with it! She smacks her a second time with a huge thwack of the kendo stick. Hilary goes for a third smack but Cait rolls out of the way, causing Levandrier to take the force through her hands. She drops the kendo stick before eating a forearm smash from Cait. Hilary staggers backwards, unable to catch her footing but not wanting to fall. Cait kicks her to the midsection, before giving her an axe kick right on top of the chair that Hilary had slid under the ring herself! She flips Hil over for a pin. One…Twkickout! As they get to their feet, Cait reverses a spinning heel kick with her own bicycle kick that takes Levandrier off her feet. She brings Hilary to her feet, tossing her arm over her shoulder and suplexs her over the top rope and to the ground below! Unfortunately for Flanagan, Hilary has actually landed on her feet on the apron. Cait takes the moment to taunt the crowd, believing her opponent to be crumbled on the floor. Hilary grabs her by the hair from the apron, pulling her closer and facing Cait towards her. Levandrier puts Cait’s head through the ropes, before leaning backwards and DDTing Cait onto the steel steps! The move also hurts Hilary a bit, both of them tumbling to the floor. It takes a little more time to recover, as Hilary gets to her feet first. She goes after Cait, who has partially rolled under the ring. Levandrier goes to pull her out, and as she does she gets SMACKED in the face with a cooking sheet! Flanagan gets to her feet with a smile on her feet, before laying the cooking sheet across Hilary’s neck and hitting a knee drop! Hil rolls around, grabbing her neck and gasping for air. Cait helps her to her feet, before slamming Hilary’s face into the nearby announce table. Hilary tries to get to her feet and again Cait slams her head against the announce table. She takes this time to toss more weapons into the ring, including: a fire extinguisher, iron, trash can, and stop sign. She turns back to Hilary, kicking her against the table. The commentators have gotten up as Cait lays Hilary across the table. Flanagan’s next step is to stand on top of the table herself. She gets Hilary up and into the piledriver position, but Levandrier won’t let herself be lifted. Instead, she flips it on Cait, sending Cait up and over, crashing through the table below. However, Hilary is also standing on the same table, so she’s sent through the table as well. It takes a little for the two to get back onto their feet, the crowd chanting and cheering for which they want to see win. Hilary, having taken the least of the bump, gets to her feet first. Cait is kneeling when Hilary comes back up to her, planting her with a facebuster on the hard floor. Hilary looks like she’s going to go in for the kill, but will need to get Cait back in the ring first. As she thinks it over, she backs into the barricade to lean against it for support… But someone from the crowd reaches over with a chain, choking Hilary! She tries to fight off the assailant but they choke harder. From behind her, stands Josh Anderson. Now in control, he kicks the back of her right leg, making her kneel, before performing a Natural Selection-esque cutter with the chain, up and over the barricade. The move is actually pretty sweet, and incredibly legal seeing as how this is anything goes. Of course, the crowd doesn’t like it much, but Cait Flanagan is ecstatic as she finds her footing. She kisses Josh, holding his hand for a moment as they walk back over to Hilary. Together they slide her under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Flanagan locks in the Long Goodnight [STF] and waits for Levandrier to tap out. However, she appears to be passed out possibly? The referee veins the count, and Flanagan seemingly releases the pressure of the Long Goodnight, believing Levandrier to be passed out. Surprising both Josh and Cait, Hil rolls through and out of the hold, picking up the now nearby fire extinguisher and and sprays the whole ring down! Even the ref is probably having a hard time seeing! Including the audience, and those watching at how, there’s a blast of fire extinguisher everywhere. From what we can see, Hilary uses the distraction to nail Cait with the extinguisher. She quickly picks up the trash can and slides it over Josh’s head before planting a high dropkick that sends him toppling over the top rope! The crowd is in a frenzy and the dust has settled as Cait slowly gets to her feet, turning around and walking right into a KillShot (Somersault Neckbreaker) that sees Hilary bridge the legs. One…Two…Three! Hilary is handed the QONY Championship and she drapes it across her shoulder. WINNER Hilary Levandrier METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 13:41 FINISHING MOVE Killshot |

In a pre-recorded segment, Melissa Reeves addresses the camera directly. She’s sitting alone on the roof of the arena, the city skyline behind her.
“Erik Malone…”
She takes a moment from there, before she goes on.
“You set us onto a collision course, isn’t that right? Erik, you wanted this. You’ve wanted this since you got here, perhaps even before you got here. You’ve made sure everyone knows it, but facing me was never denied to you by me, was it? Instead of waiting, you went and made yourself new enemies in the process of trying to push this.”
She shakes her head and shrugs.
“But that was then, we’re here now. What got us here doesn’t matter anymore, all that matters now is what happens tonight. So you, me, we’re going one-on-one and we’re going to put on one hell of a show, aren’t we?”
There’s a slight giggle from her.
“Seriously though, you have been so hell bent on taking me on, I have to question what your true goals are. We both know if I ask you, well, what you’ll say probably won’t actually make any sense will it? No worry, your actions will betray your intentions, even if your words seek to obscure it. Problem is, well for you anyway, I have my own goals and I’m not here just to suffer your whims. No, I’m here to reach my own targets. You tried to suggest I’m lacking focus, a laughable suggestion. On the contrary, I know exactly what I want and where I’m going. Do you, Erik?”
Another shrug.
“Seems to me you’re trying to find something, anything to make yourself relevant with. You think, you hope you’re going to use me to raise your stock here. You want to be a big name in Liberty, by taking out one of the biggest here. I get it. Even if you try to seem strange and different, you’re the same as anyone else here. You see my reputation, one that I earned with my own hard work - screw you, Becky, by the way. You see that reputation and you think beating me will grow your own. So I get it, I do. We’ll have our battle, Erik, and we’ll see if you can withstand actually fighting me. I just hope you bring your A game, because I won’t accept your games like you’ve done lately. See you out there, Malone.”
She cuts the feed there.

Kendrick’s sitting in the locker room with his feet propped up as he arrived early to watch tape on his opponents. Though the one he is currently watching is of the win that gave him a chance at the Noir Championship.
KENDRICK KROSS: I don’t get what the others have done to be in this Ultimate X match. I had to go through a battle royal to even get a chance but they just get thrown in without proving anything? I think that’s straight up bullshit.
Kendrick shakes his head as he continues watching the tape of his opponents matches.
KENDRICK KROSS: Plus we have a stupid mystery entrant? What’s that about? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard. Just another person I’ve got to prepare for that I shouldn’t have to. This should be a one on one match. I shouldn’t have to deal with multiple people. I did that already.
Someone has something out for me it seems.
He shakes his head as he kicks the TV off it’s stand watching it crash into the floor and bust.
KENDRICK KROSS: Junior got into this match because of his name. Not because he has done anything to earn it. Marisol definitely doesn’t deserve it either I can guarantee you that. But of course the Callaghans think she should. The only two in this match should be me and Karen. No one else. Everyone knows that. We’re the only two that deserve a shot at it.
He pushes himself up and kicks the shell of the TV and yells out in frustration.
KENDRICK KROSS: I swear if somehow I don’t win this match I’m raising hell. And the Callaghans or anyone else won’t hear the end of it until justice is taken care of.
Not that they’ll have to worry about it though. I don’t plan on leaving without that championship.

MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES
Melissa Reeves vs Erik Malone
Melissa Reeves vs Erik Malone
RECAP There’s a certain mix of anticipation and anxiety in the air as the participants make their way down to the ring. If you’ll recall, Erik has been asking for a match with Reeves and has even sabotaged his own matches to prove just how badly he wants it. As the bell rings, Melissa slowly walks to the middle of the ring to meet Erik, who obliges. Reeves looks like she’s trying to feel out the situation, but Erik looks on another plane of existence. His eyes are shifting from side to side as he cricks his neck. In the middle of the ring, the two stare at one another. The 5’6” veteran is only a little shorter than the 5’8” Odd One. The crowd gets loud, and Reeves looks out to them. Malone continues staring at Reeves. She lunges forward, nailing a right hand. She reels back and goes for another, but stops. She’s realized that while his face moved with the hit, not only did he defend against it but as she went for another, he still was not defending. Malone slowly turns back to his original position, continuing his stare. Melissa has a confused look on her face. She thought he WANTED a fight. She follows through, landing a second right, but the same occurs. Erik takes the hit, before returning back to his original position, still staring at Reeves. Melissa steps back a little, looking to the crowd with a confused look. Erik spreads a grin across his face and begins laughing - before going stone cold dead-faced. He brings up his right hand, forming a pistol and aiming towards Melissa. Reeves gives him a look that seems to say “then lets go!”. She lunges forward with a third right, connecting. This time the two launch into frenzied rights back and forth, landing wherever they could while still trying to dodge. Mel dodges one of Erik’s punches, rolling backwards, but she isn’t fast enough getting up. Malone lunges forward with a leaping knee that strikes her right in the face. He gets Mel back to her feet, hooking her shoulder and going up for a suplex. Reeves lands on her feet though, bounding back towards the ropes. She slides under Malone’s legs and ends up on the other side of him, hooking around his waist and nailing a german suplex. Malone rolls through but Mel is still on him, rushing him. Erik catches her and spins around into the turnbuckle for a belly-to-belly. However, the maneuver sends both of them into the turnbuckle with a hard thud that stops the fast pace in its tracks. It takes them a little to get to their feet, but are right back on each other with hard right hands, showing just how much of a brawl this has turned into. Reeves eventually knees Erik in the gut, before whipping him across the ring. When he bounds back he goes up and over Mel, rolling into a sunset pin position. Erik doesn’t get the chance to make a pin though as Mel rolls through and back onto her feet before planting a basement dropkick into Erik’s face. She takes a moment to step onto the apron as Erik gets onto his feet. Mel launches into a springboard cutter that sends the crowd into a roar! She rolls Malone over and hooks his leg. One…Tw-kickout! Reeves is on her feet immediately, bounding off the ropes into a sliding knee that connects with the side of Erik’s face. He rolls into the corner, seated. Mel rushes him, going for a seated corner kick but Erik rolls out of the way at the last second! This sends Mel’s leg through the ropes and she collides into the post! Malone runs to the opposite end of the ring, before rushing back with a missile dropkick to Mel’s back as she’s still wrapped around the post! This causes her to slump over the turnbuckle a little more. As the crowd boos, Erik hops to the apron, where he runs along the side and single-leg kicks Mel’s same leg right into the post again! She yells out in pain, before falling backwards onto the canvas, holding her leg! As Malone gets back into the ring, he grabs Mel by the same leg, giving it a hard knee drop and focusing on injuring her! He grabs the same leg again, locking in a single leg boston crab on it! Mel yells out in pain, reaching for the ropes! Malone has to pull her back towards the middle of the ring again but Reeves is still able to crawl to the bottom rope. The referee tells Erik to let it go but he refuses at first! He really IS trying to injure her! The ref has to start counting and it’s only then that Malone releases the hold! Reeves’ leg is on fire now. Mel uses the ropes to help herself to her feet, and again Malone grabs her injured leg. Reeves hops on one foot, leaping up into a tornado DDT that floors Malone. While on the ground, she grabs his arm and gets him to his feet for a short-armed closeline, clearing saying she could still perform with one leg if needed. Mel moves around to Erik’s other side, but as she’s doing so he sweeps her hurt leg and she falls to the canvas. Reeves rolls out of the way, going to the apron but unable to pull herself up just yet. Up on is feet, Malone ducks under the ropes and meet her out there, the two now trading blows on the apron. Mel is having a hard time moving on the small space with one hurt leg and falters for a moment, giving Malone time to kick her in the midsection. She doubles over, and Malone delivers a piledriver onto the edge of the apron with a thick thud! The crowd is LOUD with boos! Erik looks out to the crowd, his face cold as stone coupled with a twisted smile. He has to hop to the outside, where Reeves’ body is, and slide her under the bottom rope. Mel is dazed to say the least, and Erik revels in it. With Mel in the ring, Erik climbs the turnbuckle from the apron side. He gives the crowd one last sick look, before leaping into Liberty Falls (Coffin Drop). …but Malone has taken too long, combined with Reeves having the recovery rate of a veteran. Melissa is quickly on her feet, launching into the Magnitude Nine (Black Mass) from seemingly out of nowhere! The kick strikes the back of Erik’s head as he is soaring through the air, and his limp body hits the canvas. Mel holds her injured leg for a moment, having to use the SAME leg to hit the Magnitude Nine. But she’s able to crawl to Malone, hooking his leg. One…two….three! BACKSTAGE
Sitting in a chair somewhere backstage, we see Derrick La’Bell just staring at his Liberty Pro Championship. He smiles at the title belt, but you can see there’s a lot of focus behind his eyes. It’s not like he doubts himself, but it is more like he knows he has one of his biggest tests as a champion.
Derrick La'Bell: For the first time in years, this belt isn’t marred by controversy.
Derrick laughs a bit.
Derrick La'Bell: No stolen titles, no double champions, no mandatory vacations of titles, no whacky cash-ins…
He pauses as he starts to flashback to a year ago when he won the belt he holds in his hands.
Derrick La'Bell: Just four of Liberty Pro’s best looking to prove themselves, and somehow someway I came out on top, despite having wrestled earlier in the night.
Derrick starts to get choked up thinking of all the hard work he has put into becoming the Liberty Pro Champion.
Derrick La'Bell: It would be 9 months before I actually got to hold this belt in action and prove my worth as a champion, but I promised I would make the belt mean something again. No more cheating. No more controversy. Just me defending what I have rightfully earned against those who have busted their ass to get their opportunity.
La’Bell grips the belt a little tighter.
Derrick La'Bell: Nobody has questioned my success. Nobody can put an asterisk against my wins and sully the prestige and work I’ve put into this title. Y’all may say I’m not loud enough or I don’t have the big audacious personalities as other members of this roster, but I think American Poet Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. said it best…
A big goofy smile pops up on the face of Derrick.
Derrick La'Bell: “Real G’s move in silence… Like Lasagna”
Derrick laughs at his Lil Wayne reference because we have fun here in Liberty Pro.
Derrick La'Bell: I have always let my work ethic and my skills and my talent do the speaking for me. Becky Balfour can’t say that. She has claimed herself that she can’t say that, because she has always needed #TheSociety to support her. She knows she can’t win in a system based on merit and hardwork, so she doesn’t. Becky makes the rules up as she goes, trying to change the game and then cries victim when it doesn’t go her way.
Clearly no love lost for Becky and #TheSociety from Derrick. He scoffs at the thought of Becky Balfour holding the championship once again, ruining everything he has built as champion.
Derrick La'Bell: I could continue to waste oxygen on Becky and her buddies and her non-stop disrespect for the sport that has built her, but the truth is… Antoinette doesn’t deserve to be here either…
It clearly hurts Derrick to say that, because he usually supports up and coming names, but there’s something he can’t get past that just keeps bothering him.
Derrick La'Bell: And don’t get me wrong. Antoinette is a wrestler with a lot of potential and absolutely no limits in front of her… but she’s only won 3 matches in 3 months. I’m all for calling your shots and wanting to “play with the big dogs”, but Ant has hardly proven she’s a singles wrestler yet, let alone a World Championship level wrestler.
Derrick shakes his head, because he doesn’t want to gatekeep, but he still doesn’t believe Antoinette is ready for a match of this magnitude.
Derrick La'Bell: However, despite Becky’s disrespect and Antoniette’s lack of a resume… they’re still my biggest test to date.
He finally tosses the World title over his shoulder and starts to talk directly to the camera.
Derrick La'Bell: Fighting Becky is tricky enough, because I know those cage walls won’t stop Warren and Seth from trying to jump in. Then you throw in a wildcard underdog who essentially just have to wait and pick off the stronger opponent right before a pin attempt to win, it seems nearly impossible that I’m walking out with this championship still in my hands.
Derrick pauses once again. The weight of this match seems to be heavy, but unlike his match with Melissa, or previous matches with Becky and the rest of #TheSociety, he doesn’t seem to be shaking from it. He’s not worried or scared. In fact he’s the opposite.
Derrick La'Bell: This match has everything stacked against me retaining, but I’m okay with that. Despite my size, my pedigree, and so much more, I have spent my entire career fighting with people stacking the entire deck against me. Rotten, Tamsin, Becky, X, or a whole Twitter following of doubters… it has never mattered, because I always prove that my hardwork pays off.
Derrick re-postures himself, to show just how big and how confident he is.
Derrick La'Bell: Plus, I have spent the entire first half of my 3-sport career knocking people out in cages. It’s cliche as hell, but this isn’t me locked in a cage with 2 challengers. It’s them locked in with a CHAMPION who has been labelled Beast inside the cage, the ring, and the combination of the two. Ant and Bex are walking into the environment that has MADE me who I am. Every lesson of hard work was learned in a cage. Every hard fought win that built me into a house-hold name was in a cage, and now I’m going to show why I am and will continue to be the name that sits at the top of Liberty Pro’s mountain.
Derrick harps a lot about hard work, but he truly does take pride in the work he’s put into Liberty Pro. He’s spent years struggling elsewhere, but when he steps into a Liberty Pro ring, it has always just made sense and he has never want to sully that hardwork. And now that he’s been champion for essentially a year, he has inspired other people to want to earn their success the same way in Liberty, so he takes even more pride in the position he has on the roster.
Derrick La'Bell: This is by far my biggest test, but I’ve spent my entire career training for moments like this. I’m walking into that cage tonight as your Liberty Pro Champion, and no matter what get’s thrown at me tonight... Whether it’s #TheSociety breaking into the cage, a few low blows, Paz Guerrera picking fights, Blyss Lockhart for no reason, Nate Callaghan, Liam Callaghan, Sean, Brendan, Ryan, or Lilly Callaghan… or anyone and anything else you can throw into this match… I’m walking out #AndStill your Liberty Pro Champion!!!
He pats his belt to emphasize him still being champion at the end of the night.
Derrick La'Bell: I wish the best of luck to Antoinette. I hope this is the launchpad moment you’re looking for, even if it is in defeat. You have a lot of potential ahead of you, and I’m excited to see where your singles run takes you.
He pauses for a moment. His body language changes from that of a genuine sportsman to bitter rival.
Derrick And Becky? Well fuck you and #TheSociety. I will do everything to make sure you specifically don’t walk out with my title, because I’d rather see Liberty shut down again than see you taint the legacy I have built for this belt.
Derrick flips the camera off, so Becky can see just how much he dislikes her. Derrick raises his title in the air, to signify him being #AndStill at the end of the night, and the scene fades to black.

MATCH EIGHT: ULTIMATE X MATCH FOR THE NOIR CHAMPIONSHIP
Junior Hardy vs Taurus vs Marisol Vilaró vs Karen Willow vs Kendrick Kross vs Surprise Entrant
Junior Hardy vs Taurus vs Marisol Vilaró vs Karen Willow vs Kendrick Kross vs Surprise Entrant
RECAP The five competitors waited to find out who would be Nathan’s secret pick for going into this match. The MSG crowd got restless however, some pockets of the crowd cheering or chanting different names. It is then that “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush hits the speakers and Emery Layton makes herself visible! The return of The She-King is one of welcome for the Liberty crowd as they cheer! ...It is good that the crowd is so loud, because no one can hear Lily Callighan’s sanity breaking to dust after the being in cracked shambles the last couple of weeks. Onto the match however... The match does begin with all the crowd’s eyes on Emery, but that gets quickly cut short as Karen Willow goes RUSHING out of her corner and straight up executes Kendrick Kross with a Wolf Fang Fist (Superman Punch)! It sends him up and over the ropes, dropping on the apron and down to the ground. For a few moments, the other four competitors look in complete disbelief. That is, until the crowd seems to wake them up. Hardy and TAURUS lock up as Marisol, Emery and Karen have a three way dance going. Layton and Karen irish-whip Vilaro into the turnbuckle but she runs up the corner and does a flip, before raking the eyes of both of them. She catches Layton in a front facelock, while holding Willow in neckbreaker position. Before she can execute either move, both competitors turn her around and launch her into the structure. ...Then Willow and Layton start teeing off on each other with forearms, trading blow for blow like there’s no tomorrow! Meanwhile TAURUS is having a hell of a time putting his hands on Junior. THE Big Bull narrowly misses him each time. A big shoulder charge misses as Junior sidesteps it. A massive forearm. A sweeping kick. Every time, THE Advanced Athlete misses him by a single fraction of a hair, and anyone watching can tell TAURUS is getting more and more irate by the second. Finally, THE Big Bull has had enough. With a reckless fury over being disrespected by Junior Hardy over and over again, TAURUS proceeds to take that out on the entire ring. A running shoulder tackle that sends Emery over the ropes, a double clothesline for Karen and Marisol, and Hardy gets irish-whipped, jerked back and snapped into Big Bull Charge (Spear). The Advanced Athlete clears the rest of the ring, mouthing off to the whole as MSG as they proceed to boo him, with a smattering chanting ‘BIG BULL’. Others are chanting ‘BIG BULLSHIT’! Instead of going to climb for the Noir Championship hanging overhead, the arrogant and inexperienced Big Bull proceeds to mouth off as he informs the entire crowd that there’s not a single person in this ring who could wipe his boots. He just CLEARED the competition. He’s better. Built better, and just better. As he continues talking, one by one the other five wrestlers are in the ring. It is only until it is too late that TAURUS realizes it. Basement superkick from Kendrick Kross that takes out The Advanced Athlete at the legs, sending him to a knee. Stereo Shining Wizards from Emery hitting him in the front and Karen Willow hitting him across the back of the head. He gets a Rolling Thunder from Junior Hardy, staggering to his feet only for Marisol Vilaro to hit him with an enzuigiri that sends him up and over the ropes. Now let the actual games begin. Hardy doesn’t seem quite done with TAURUS, slingshotting himself up and over the ropes for a slingshot version of the Pump The Breaks (STO Backbreaker Into A Faceplant). Meanwhile, The Fitness Queen and the returning She-King are having a battle of royalty. Emery comes in on her with european uppercuts, even countering an attempted swinging neckbreaker with twist into a dragon sleeper. This forces Marisol to eyerake Layton before hitting her with an explosive Vilaróizer (Fisherman’s Suplex)... Into Karen! Crowd: OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH!! Just to be sure, Willow and Kross were absolutely teeing off on each other while Emery and Marisol were at it. Kross kicking her shoulder, Karen blocking each other shot and coming within striking distance for possibly a german or tiger suplex. All the while Willow has a verbal assault on Kross, running him down as a person, a wrestler, a human, a man, a mammal, you name it. ...JUST as Karen Willow was about to hit Kendrick Kross with Bloody Sauce, Layton gets launched at her. It breaks her grip long enough for Kross to catch her with a swift kick to the abdomen and spike her into the mat headfirst with a Snap DDT. The briefest of alliances is forced when Marisol and Kendrick first double team on Karen with a double suplex that drops her right on top of Emery’s ribs to the gasps and boos of a raucous MSG crowd. With both competitors down, Marisol and Kendrick eye each other for all of a millisecond before they run for the massive structure over the top of the ring. They climb the metal towers capping opposite turnbuckles and climb up to the top of the ‘X’ structure. Marisol climbs the bottom of the massive ‘X’ like monkey bars, all the while telling the crowd the power of grip strength as only the Vilaro System can offer. Impressively she does get towards the Noir Championship seconds before Kendrick can walk towards the center on the top. She reaches for it, but Kross slides through the top to the bottom, hanging on top and kicking at her. The two try to trade kick for kick, stopping each other from grabbing the championship. Kross kicks her in the arm, getting her loose. ...Though Marisol does hang on with one arm, which is impressive. Vilaro System and all. So Kross takes her out and himself by a modified Coup De Gras (Double Foot Stomp) as they both fall! Crowd: KROSS IS GONNA KILL YOU! KROSS IS GONNA KILL YOU! KROSS IS GONNA KILL YOU! Marisol is folded up, hugging her ribs in absolute agony as Kendrick pulls himself up and puts a hand against his neck. He is struggling to stand, just in time for Hardy to slide in and bomb him with a Jaded (Superkick). He snaps backward into a Karen-can't-rana (Spiked Poisonrana) compliments of Karen Willow. Karen reminds Kross once again that anytime he wants to be great, he can always watch her matches back. Willow and Hardy square off, peppering each other with straight hands. Junior nearly takes her head off with a superkick but she side-steps it and goes for an early superman punch. Hardy sidesteps it, goes for roundhouse kick, but Willow does a split, kips-up to do a legsweep that Junior dodges with a one-handed handstand before he lands on his feet. Hardy and Willow stare at each other in silence after that quick flurry of moves, at a stalemate. MSG eats it all up, but this awesome display is immediately interrupted by TAURUS who mows them both down with a double clothesline. Crowd: THIS IS AWES---BBBBOOOOOOO!! The crowd really were about to applaud Karen and Junior but TAURUS has none of it. He eyes the structure and the big man begins to climb it... Up until Emery Layton jumps on his back! TAURUS thrashs around and jerks her off of him. He lifts her up in powerslam position but the experienced and world-traveled vet shows just what a mistake that is by slapping on a Dragon Sleeper. The Big Bull won’t have it however, sending her back first into the structure...But still Layton holds the sleeper on tight. He runs her head first into the turnbuckle...Nope, she’s still got the hold on. TAURUS rushes into one corner and then another and another and Emery’s face has been busted open, blood from her forehead... ...As TAURUS’s movements have slowed to a crawl, exhausted and no air getting to those massive lungs. He staggers forward down to one knee as Layton finally lets go of the Dragon Sleeper. He wearily shoves her away but she hits the ropes and comes back with a Babooshka (Pendulum Lariat) that drops the big man. Bloody and worn out from putting him down she begins climbing for the structure but only gets about to the top before stopping. Hardy’s got her leg before he crawls over her, kicks her off and heads for the championship. Layton’s forced to pull herself onto the structure again and climb. At the same time, Marisol has made her way back up, and has to hug her ribs while trying to climb. Kross is up on one side of structure while Karen is crawling from the other. It ends up becoming a five way climb towards the Noir Championship, TAURUS still recovering on the ground from getting choked out by Emery. For reference, Marisol and Kross are treating it like monkey bars on the bottom, as are Karen and Hardy. Emery, the only one bloody, is on the top but inching along. Closer and closer all five get. Vilaro comes close but at the last moment, Junior nearly kicks her arm out. She takes Hardy out by launching herself at him with a modified, SUPER Crunch Time (Natural Selection). Both bodies crash to the mat. Karen and Kross are tagging each other off with one arm, both hanging by the other. From their vantage point, neither of them can see The She-King, too focused on getting rid of the other in front of them. In Karen’s case the heights are already problem enough so she just focuses on the title and getting rid of Kross in front of her. Kross looks as though he might be considering another Coup de Gras, but that could end terribly against Willow. To which Emery surprises them both, having inched the entire way of the structure! She reaches through the metal bars, snagging the championship before either of the other two wrestlers can stop her! WINNER Emery Layton METHOD Grabbing The Noir Championship MATCH LENGTH 23:18 FINISHING MOVE Being the tortoise in a ring with a bunch of hares POST MATCH The fans erupted in cheers as the bell rang and the She-King was declared the winner of this match and the first ever Noir champion. Despite all the titles Emery had won through her fifteen years long career, despite the countless landmark wins she got under her belt, tonight had a whole different taste, the sweet taste of revenge. Exhausted, Layton collapsed on her knees, soaking in the adoration of the fans. Misty-eyed, the ginger scanned the adoring crowd, thanking each and everyone of them for their undying support. Finally, her glance rested on the Noir championship that the referee was finally bringing to its new owner. She slowly pulled herself up but, just as the official was about to hand her the gold, the lights in the Arena dimmed and a thick fog covered the entrance stage. Loose your head lay your soul Lick your wound and taste the blood Feel the pain on your own But it hurts so lovely Choose your hell, meet the fog let it all surround the core Be the one like a storm Lightning through the darkness Oh never, no never Never fear to suffer Never hide behind a smile Never cry without a sound Shandon’s “Noir” blared out of the loudspeakers for the first time in a year, and the fans went nuts. The former Liberty champion, the first ever inductee in Liberty Pro’s Hall Of Fame was here in the Madison Square Garden and a loud “Welcome Home” chant rose from the fans. Noir walked down the ramp and entered the ring, gesturing to the referee to wait. She glanced at the championship named after her, asking if she could give it a closer look. The official, obviously, turned to Emery who nodded back at him. Helena Noir: This is the first time I see it and I have to admit… This is a fine piece of gold. She commented with a smile on her face, admiring the decorated central plate of Liberty’s brand new title. Helena Noir: I still haven’t figured out how I feel about having a title named after me… It’s a huge honor, of course, something that fills my heart with pride, a testament that what I’ve done left a mark. And at the end of the day, that’s all I ever wanted. After a brief pause, she continued. Helena Noir: On the other hand… Why me? A lot of great wrestlers stepped in this ring, Anastasia Hayden and Riley Savell just to name a couple that are no longer competing here. A lot of great wrestlers step in this ring each and every week, and they deserve your unconditioned love and support for everything they do. Well, most of them, at least… That last comment sounded like a zinger at certain members of the roster. Helena Noir: I don’t know why he did it, I don’t know if I truly deserve it or if any wrestler does. It’s weird to have something supposed to represent the company named after a person, a title named after a champion. Mind you, I’m not being ungrateful. I’m just saying that it’s a lot to process. Helena Noir: But wanting to make it make sense, I can see why Nathan did it. This title, more than any other, is built on conflict, and that’s something I’ve been very familiar with for all my time here. Whether it was against the Society, against Nathan himself or more recently GEW, I always stood up for Liberty Pro. Not the management, the true heart and soul of this company. She pointed at the fans, getting them to cheer loudly. Helena Noir: “Them, and the guys in the back who refuse to make a deal with the devil to move forward with their career. I’m sure someone will point out the irony of me giving this speech to someone who was put into this match by Nathan himself, but anyone who knows you and what you stand for can see how this is one of the rare good for business decisions Mister Callaghan seldom makes.” Helena smiled at Emery. Helena Noir: “Firing you was a huge mistake, probably the biggest in a long series Lily has made in her run as co-general manager. This Noir championship gives you the opportunity to make her realize it, to get on her show, beat whoever she puts in your path and then turn it in for a shot at one of the Big Ones.” Finally, Noir handed the title to the first-ever champion, but she didn’t let go. Not yet. Helena Noir: “There’s not a doubt in my mind that you are, and will be, a worthy champion. You probably don’t need it but I still want to give you one last piece of advice. Never lose focus on what truly matters. Not the Noir championship, not the desire of payback, not the choice between the Liberty or the Freedom championship. What should guide you, what should guide every Noir champion that will follow you, or any other champion for what it’s worth, is the sense of responsibility. Responsibility toward the fans, toward your peers and toward yourself.” Eventually she let go. The title was finally in Emery’s possession. Helena Noir: “We win some, we lose some. We’re bound to forget some of those wins and sooner or later we get over each and everyone of those losses. Even those that sting the most. But the one thing that truly remains is the legacy we build. The title you are holding is the legacy I’ve built in all my years in the ring, and now, in your hands, it’s clay you can use to shape your own.” Noir offered her hand to the Journeylass. Helena Noir: “Be a champion you can be proud of.” Emery accepted the handshake, looking straight in Helena’s eyes as the Swede returned the stare. Without saying another word, and not wanting to take any more time away from Emery’s moment, she rolled out of the ring and walked away, leaving the Traveller to her well deserved celebration. |

** The usage of the following images, videos and recordings is property of MWE The Academy **
The montage opened inside the octagon. Skylar Rayner, sporting a brand new MMA outfit complete with gloves and headset, all in the same color scheme as her traditional wrestling gear. Under the watchful eye of the Academy trainer and her former manager Taylor Wheeler and the supervision of Team Strike’s leader Lady Magdalena, the Dane was sparring with a rather large staff member, trying to put the new teachings into practice with poor results.
Cut to a few days later, same setting, different players. A sweaty and physically strained Skylar is now resting against the cage, catching her breath and sipping some energy drink as she watched Lady Magdalena gracefully dancing around the same guy Skylar was training with to dodge his strikes and then almost effortlessly putting him into her patented crucifix choke, causing him to tap out immediately.
Flash forward to another training session. Skylar’s progress was evident here, she looked way more comfortable inside the cage, moving swiftly around her sparring partner, keeping away from the walls and waiting for the perfect opportunity to counterattack. The clip showed her successfully hitting and submitting various opponents, receiving a convincing applause from her trainers.
An overlaying text reading “Friday April 8th, 2022” scrolled under the image of Skylar leaving the Academy. Both Taylor Wheeler and Lady Magdalena were accompanying her as she walked out of the main building, the trio stopping in the courtyard to bid her farewell and perhaps give her a final piece of advice.
Skylar Rayner: I… I have no words to express how thankful I am, Tay… When Lily booked this MMA match.. I felt hopeless. Disheartened. I signed to Liberty to wrestle, I signed there to test myself against some of the best in the industry inside a wrestling ring, not in an Octagon. And the reason why she did it…
The blonde let out a long sigh.
Skylar Rayner: Not gonna lie, it reminded me of the darkest Underground days, with management flat out punishing whoever stepped up to them.
The three of them exchanged a knowing look. That was a memory they all shared, and one they all would likely leave behind and never bring up again.
Skylar Rayner: I’ll be honest with you, I… I was scared. I was lost, I felt like I was walking the green mile. I mean, what chance did I stand in a cage against someone twice my size who, unlike me, actually knows what to do in that type of match?
She forced a smile, trying to hide the that underlying concern, maybe even fear that was still very present.
Skylar Rayner: Now, after getting my butt kicked for ten straight days… I think I have at least a chance.
Unexpectedly, she wrapped her arms around her trainer.
Skylar Rayner: Thank you, Tay.
Taylor Wheeler: You have more than a chance, Sky.
He spoke softly, but with a convincing tone. Pulling back from the embrace, he continued.
Taylor Wheeler: Dante is a beast, and he definitely has the experience advantage in an MMA match. But he hasn’t stepped in a cage in a long time, chances are he’s a bit rusty too and that’s something you can use to your advantage. Plus, you worked hard with one of the very best trainers in the country…
He was obviously talking about Lady Magdalena, and the rightful and deserved compliment put a slight smile on the Fair Lady’s face.
Taylor Wheeler: Stick to what you learned and you’ll be fine.
Skylar nodded, turning her attention to the Black Swan.
Skylar Rayner: Lady… You had all the rights to hate me after everything I put you and your daughter through.. And yet, you didn’t hesitate to help me when I needed it…
The Fair Lady of Wrestling raised her hand slowly, cutting Skylar off from finishing her sentence with the softest of gestures.
Lady Magdalena: Now, now Skylar. We will simply have none of that talk.
The Frenchwoman responded, taking a step forward and dabbing Skylar’s eye with a clean silk handkerchief she seemed to produce out of thin air. She took a step back, the 5”10 and a half Parisian being one of few women in the industry that was taller than the Dane, and she gave her a gentle smile.
Lady Magdalena: You were here because you needed to be, and I wanted to help you. I am quite opposed to the unruly situation that is occurring over in Liberty, and their decision is rather unjust. That and my daughter would never have let me hear the last of it if I was to refuse this request.
Magdalena grinned, rolling her eyes as she took a side glance to Taylor.
Lady Magdalena: But with what you have learned and adapted to in these short weeks is quite impressive. Your ability to adapt is much more rapid than any of my previous students, but you do need to keep your smarts about you. Remember what we discussed about keeping your emotions in check? Please utilize that, dear. Calmness, patience and seeking an opportunity is what is key here.
Lady then tapped her on the forehead.
Lady Magdalena: And remember to use this. What you have here, your mind, is much more dangerous than anything that Dante has in his fists. You do have the mind for this, do trust me on that. The mental game within that octagon can be so much sharper than any right hook. No matter his experience, he still plays the thugs game. He believes you are entering and will be locked in with him, that is not the case. You are both locked in together.
It took the Dane some time to regain her composure throughout Lady’s passionate speech. But by the end of it, she seemed to have collected herself, even managing a smile on that last piece of advice she gave her.
Skylar Rayner: Thank you.
She stuttered.
Skylar Rayner: I will never forget these days and everything you taught me. And I’m not only talking about the holds, the strikes and all that jazz.. Those I will use this Sunday but there’s a lot more I learned from you. I promise you those lessons will not get wasted. These kids… They have no idea how lucky they are to have you, yet.
The former Underground interviewer reached inside the pocket of her jacket, pulling out an envelope. Her eyes moved back to Taylor.
Skylar Rayner: Speaking of students, can you please give this to Addi? I don’t know why I wrote it, she’s likely going to throw it away without even reading it.. It just felt… Something I had to do.
Lady then moved between them, her hand outstretched to take the letter from Skylar. Her right arm was partially exposed, revealing the single tattoo that she had, one of a silver eagle in flight. Her eyes cast from that to Skylar, that soft smile still on the elfin Frenchwoman’s face.
Lady Magdalena: She is my charge, and I will ensure that she receives it.
Skylar nodded.
Skylar Rayner: I appreciate it.
With a big smile on her face, the blonde took a step back, slightly bending forward in a barely hinted bow.
Skylar Rayner: Again, thank you to the both of you. For everything.
And on those words, she waved goodbye to them and the Academy.

MATCH NINE: MMA RULES
Dante Locke vs Skylar Rayner
Dante Locke vs Skylar Rayner
RECAP The bell rings to signal the start of the fight, and Dante Locke wastes NO time going straight after Skylar. The far more experienced MMA fighter smartly, and swiftly, makes his way across the fenced-in ring to cut Rayner off and trap her in the corner. Skylar turtles up, doing her best to block an early flurry of strikes from Dante as he targets her head and body with some crisp, POWERFUL, boxing combinations. Rayner does a good job of blocking her money maker of a face, but a vast majority of the body shots land home solidly and there are already some visible welts starting to show as she tries to survive the storm. The ref watches the action closely as Dante continues to pour it on, warning her to fight back or the contest would have to be stopped. This seems to fire Skylar up, and she counters Dante with a stiff right uppercut to back him up a few steps. Rayner uses this space to circle out on wobbly legs and regroup, but Dante charges forward again to hit Sky with a nasty elbow shot to the side of the head. This causes her to stumble backwards and rebound off the ropes. Dante uses this momentum to wrap his arms around his opponent, and send her sailing overhead with a belly to belly suplex. Instead of hitting the mat though, Skylar flips through the air, lands on her feet, handsprings against the opposite ropes with the momentum as she rebounds to nail Dante with a beautiful “Flipping Bird” handspring stunner! In an MMA fight, nonetheless! WHAT!? The crowd is on its feet and the roar is deafening in response to what they’ve just witnessed. Dante hits the ground, and Skylar scrambles to get into a mounted position, dropping a few hard punches to the closed block of Locke. This doesn’t last long however, as the stronger competitor rolls Rayner off him and the two scramble back to their feet. Dante is the first one to make it to his feet, and in turn he delivers a sickening knee square to the face of the still rising Skylar Rayner. It’s clearly a knee to the head of a downed opponent, which is illegal in the rules of MMA. The ref steps between them and shoves Dante back a few steps, warning him to play by the rules. He says that the next infraction will result in disqualification. Dante smirks at the ref, and shrugs, maintaining his innocence. Skylar makes her way back to her feet to a roar from the crowd, and she wipes away the blood trickling from her nose with a smirk of her own. “COME ON, COWARD!” Rayner yells at Dante, which fires up the crowd even more. Dante simply laughs at her and moves around the ref to throw a rather impressive roundhouse head kick. Skylar narrowly avoids it, and she answers back with a 3 punch combo of her own. One of the shots lands flush on the jaw of Locke, but it’s clear she doesn’t have enough power in her hands to end the fight with a single punch as Dante walks through the shot and clenches her up in a Muay Thai Plum clinch. His hands wrap around the back of her neck tightly, as he pulls her head down into repeated vicious knee strikes. Skylar tries to block them, but she is in a bad spot here as the stronger fighter shit-whips her around the ring while kneeing her in the face and body. Eventually her legs give out, and Sky falls to a knee. Locke uses this as an opportunity to snatch an arm to try and lock in “Dante’s Inferno,” his lethal Kimura lock! Skylar fights like hell to escape, but Dante is still able to lock in the hold. The catch, however, is that he isn’t able to get both legs around her in a closed guard position. Instead, Skylar is able to use the sweat on her arm and the lesser half guard positioning to slip her arm out of his grasp and end up in an offensive position! The crowd erupts again, and Skylar takes a deep breath before starting to unload some NASTY punches. Dante’s eyes go wide, and he tries to both block and scramble to his feet at the same time but it's no use. Skylar is all over him. The punches have now turned into a barrage of hammerfists and elbows and she looks like a woman possessed as she shrieks and brutalizes Dante with everything she has. Locke is stunned! He’s now pouring blood from a cut over his eyebrow, and the ref is now warning HIM to do something or the fight will be stopped. Dante uses all the energy he can muster to get back to guard and kick Skylar off him with both feet. She rolls backwards and both fighters pop back to their feet to the thrill of the crowd. A “this is awesome!” chant starts as the two competitors circle the center of the ring, looking for an opening. Dante makes the first move to close the distance, but Skylar is ready for him as she baits him into walking directly into her signature roundhouse kick! “The Kick That Knocked Aries Down” lands flush on the jaw of Locke, and the smack echoes out through the arena, which gets a collective “oooooh” from the crowd. Dante is on dream street now as HE is the one that stumbles back toward the ropes this time. Skylar follows after him in stride though, running alongside Locke to springboard off the middle rope, up to the top rope, and then immediately off the top rope in one fluid motion to go for what looks like an attempt to hit her the “Sky’s The Limit” tornado DDT! Instead of spiking Dante on his head though, Skylar wraps up a tight Guillotine of her own out of nowhere! She wraps her legs around Dante, squeezing with everything she has left as Locke stumbles around the ring, gasping for air. Holding up the weight of her after such a grueling match as the oxygen is cut from his brain is a bit too much too quickly for Dante though and he falls face first to the mat, being spiked while Skylar holds on for dear life with the chokehold. Dante raises his arm to tap, but it falls back limp to the canvas as he goes unconscious. The ref quickly steps in and stops the fight, and Skylar rolls the unconscious Dante off of her to push herself to her unsteady feet to a standing ovation from the crowd. Her legs wobble a bit, and she uses the ropes to keep herself standing as the EMTs come in to tend to both competitors. Dante is brought back to the land of the living, and once he’s able to stand, he immediately exits the cage and heads toward the back, fuming. Skylar raises her hand in victory, and celebrates her hard fought victory with the fans for a moment until the scene fades. Brianna Clark: You know, I’ve tried. I’ve always held a certain positive outlook, no matter what goes on in my life. I’ve worked hard, I’ve taken my lumps, and I made my goals. This?
She pats the Liberty Pro Gotham Championship belt where it’s draped over her right shoulder, the plate carefully cleaned and gleaming in the backstage lights.
Brianna Clark: I used to look at it when Cerrano held it and wondered what it would take for me to be the one. That man? Was unstoppable. I know that most of you likely don’t care, but I was far from the only one that was unable to take that belt from him. Some of those names are gone, but man… when you can beat a wrestler like TJ Techniques? You know you’re real.
The camera pans back and takes her in, fully dressed for her Headline Triple Threat match in just a little while. She’s got on a nice black and white chessboard designed set of gear tonight, right down to the ribbons tying up her meticulously done space buns. Brianna takes a deep breath, lets it out slowly, then inhales before continuing on.
Brianna Clark: Every time I worked my way up to him, he stopped me. It didn’t matter how close I came, he never gave me any sort of due, and because of that, maybe I don’t expect it from anyone else either. But finally, finally that day came where I was able to defeat what had been my Unicorn, and I walked away with this.
She gives the championship another pat of her hand before she slips it down from her shoulder and places it around her waist. A few seconds pass and she lifts those strong shoulders up in a bit of a shrug.
Brianna Clark: Somehow though? When I should have been able to take a breath, to celebrate what I’d achieved? I got another wrestler telling me I wasn’t who I said I was. Well, two… but we’ll get to that.
Brianna paces a little, holding up a hand as she mimes making notes even as she speaks, her eyes narrowing as she casts a gaze towards the camera.
Brianna Clark: Markus FK, he beat me. Fair and square. I’m not making a single excuse. All things considered, he should have been able to make the case to face me for the Gotham Championship, but this is Liberty. He had to go through a whole other match against Ant… she’s a doll-baby, and hey. She didn’t get a shot to face me, but she does get in the mix for the Liberation Championship with Derrick and Becky Balfour.
Both her blond brows raise at this, but then she shrugs again, and manages somewhat of her normal smile of encouragement, at least for a second.
Brianna Clark: I hope you show them all, Ant. I really do, but you weren’t here when The Society was before and if they don’t die in that ladder match I believe they’ll be introducing themselves up close and personal.
That… is a grimace, not a smile, and it fades into almost a sneer of contempt as she continues to speak strongly.
Brianna Clark: As for Atticus Cassian? Whatever you’re paying that cutie who walks you to the ring and talks for you on social media? It’s not enough. I want you to sit and think about this. You can say whatever you want about me, I can’t stop you, but you will not be able to ignore the fact that you didn’t make your way into this match in any logical way. So I’m going to just guess you’ve got video of Nate’s… assets, or something equally scandalous, because let’s be frank. You don’t belong in this match. Markus earned his way twice over, and I beat your ass one two three.
As she speaks she holds up her hand, displaying four fingers and she drops one for each of the count until only her middle finger is raised and displayed.
Brianna Clark: Markus and I understand each other, and trust me. You’re neither good enough or strong enough to take us both out, and I still strongly suspect your ‘manager’ is a better wrestler than you are. If you bring her in, well. Just understand I have had my fill of interference, and unlike most people I’m strong enough to do something about it. After what happened with Liberty Hightower at the APEX show, any good will I have towards entourage members is permanently gone. Just remember I warned you.

Brianna Leigh Clark vs Markus FK vs Atticus Cassian
RECAP When the show comes back from break, Atticus Cassian, Markus FK and Brianna Leigh Clark are in the ring, circling each other. Sunday K. Love, Atticus’ ears and voice, stands outside of the ring no doubt with plenty of nasty tricks up her sleeve. Markus FK moves first, seemingly eager to get the match started. He lunges for Atticus who spins around behind him and sets him up for what appears to be a German Suplex. Brianna interrupts, wrapping an arm around Cassian’s neck and hauling him back towards the ropes. Whatever she has in mind, though, is interrupted because Atticus plants his feet and snatches her up, using her as a projectile into Markus. Cassian tries to capitalize but Markus FK takes him down with an arm drag and turns just in time to level Brianna with an arm drag too. Markus tries to roll up Brianna but she kicks out immediately. He redirects that roll up to Atticus but Brianna breaks up the pin and whips Markus FK towards the ropes, following him with a huge right clothesline that sends him over the top rope and crashing onto the ground below. Seizing the moment, Cassian rolls her up but she immediately kicks out. She tries to roll him up but Atticus rolls through it and attempts a stomp but Clark is on her feet too quickly for his boot to connect. With Cassian off balance, Clark capitalizes by whipping him through the ropes and to the mat next to Markus. She gets a running start so that she can flip over the ropes in a cannonball senton, taking out both men at once. Outside the ring, she makes eye contact with Sunday who smirks and gives her a little wave. Sizing up both men, Brianna grabs Markus and flings him back into the ring, rolling in after him. Capitalizing on the few moments it takes Brianna to make her way to him, Markus catches her with a right hand to the stomach that has her doubled over in pain. Both of them on their feet, they trade viscous blows all around the ring, Outside of the ring, Sunday is signing something to Atticus and pushing something into his hand but neither of the in ring competitors notice as they’re both too busy. Brianna catches sight of Cassian climbing back onto the ring apron at the same time that Markus does but the bigger man is quicker to capitalize. He shoves Brianna towards Atticus, hoping to knock them both down off of the ring apron but instead Clark is met with a big boot from Atticus. As she slides out of the ring to recover, Atticus backs Markus up into the corner and rocks him with huge Vader hammers in the turnbuckle. Snatching him up, he lifts him into a bone shaking stalling vertical suplex that he calls Teardrinker. Capitalizing, Atticus goes for the pin but Markus isn’t nearly ready to go down for the count. He gets the shoulder up at two. Markus scowls and rolls him into a Kimura lock, wrenching Atticus’ arm painfully. Cassian is struggling not to tap but he’s stubborn, instead, forcing himself through the pain and up onto his knees. Markus refuses to let go, still wrenching that arm and the pain is obvious on Cassian’s face. It’s taking everything he has not to tap. Instead, he seems to be trying to stand and take Markus with him. In an incredible feat of strength, Cassian drags himself to his feet with the big man in his arms. Before he can capitalize on anything, Brianna is back and scaling the turnbuckle. She takes both men out with Incoming!, her shotgun double knee. All three are down, rolling around in pain on the mat, but Clark and Markus are up first. In an effort to keep Markus from reaching his feet, Clark hammers blows on him as he struggles to stand. Pushing up through the blows, Markus grabs Clark and hits her with a Samoan Drop that levels her. Only to turn around and be met with Cassian’s own Samoan Drop that brings the big man down. Atticus attempts a pin on Markus but the big man kicks out in two. He delivers a couple of meaty blows to Markus’ skull and then moves to try to pin Brianna. Before she can kick out, Markus is breaking up the pin with a boot to Atticus’ back. What happens next can only be described as a hoss fight, with both huge men trading earth shaking, tooth rattling blows. While they’re preoccupied, Brianna climbs back to her feet and waits for her moment. When Atticus drops Markus with Invictus, a choke lifted spinebuster, she seizes the opportunity to hit him with an inverted swinging facebreaker. She climbs to her feet quickly, trying to capitalize as the smallest person in the match, and tries for a pin on Atticus. Before the referee can even reach the two count, Markus is there and breaks up the pin by snatching Clark up and into the air and dropping her with a release German suplex that sends her into the turnbuckle. That’s all it takes for Cassian to reach his feet and he whips Markus off of the ropes and into a Bonebreaker, a slinging neckbreaker. With Markus down, he stomps at his chest and face until the other man rolls out of the ring for a breather. As Cassian turns around, however, Brianna has gotten to her feet and hits Atticus with a spinning back kick. He staggers over to the turnbuckle but Brianna doesn’t give him a second to rest. She follows him there with big boots to his face and chest. With Markus outside of the ring, Sunday K. Love sees it as an opportunity to capitalize, especially because there are no disqualifications that could hurt Atticus’ chance at the title. With a pair of brass knuckles on each fist, she starts hammering huge blows on Markus’ face while he’s down. He tries to block her punches but Sunday is relentless. Brianna drags Cassian out from the turnbuckle and starts in for the pin but catches sight of Sunday and Markus. For a moment, she looks incredibly torn but her good sportsmanship wins out and she climbs to the top of the turnbuckle and launches herself down on Sunday, taking her out with a diving double knee called Incoming! For the moment, all three competitors and Sunday are laid out. Markus FK is streaming blood down his face from those brass knuckles and he looks livid. Sunday and Brianna are down for the count. Cassian slowly pushes himself up from the mat but he looks a little unsteady on his feet. Surprisingly, Brianna moves first. Climbing to her feet, she gives Sunday a kick in the ribs for good measure to keep her from interfering again. She slides back into the ring and drops Cassian back to the canvas with a Punch Into Row Z. Markus slides back into the ring and breaks up the pin, grabbing Brianna by her feet and dragging her off of Atticus. Brianna manages to turn in his grip, kicking him firmly in the chest and knocking him back into the ropes. Another hard bunny kick to the solar plexus has him falling out of the ring. Brianna pops up just in time to feel the canvas vibrating as Cassian runs towards her, hoping to capitalize. Brianna turns just in time to catch him with a facebreaker DDT and then goes for the pin. Sunday, a cut above her eyebrow bleeding, tries to slide into the ring to stop the count but she’s met by Markus who grabs her by the air and sends her flying into the steel steps. He tries to slide back into the ring in time to break up the pin but those few moments he took to stop Sunday mean that he’s too late. Brianna gets the three count and retains the Gotham championship! WINNER Brianna Leigh Clark METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 17:43 FINISHING MOVE Facebreaker DDT |
BACKSTAGE
The camera moves backstage and we are treated to a rare sight: A solo Becky Balfour. She was wearing her ring gear with a black leather jacket over top of it. She removes the shades she was wearing to show off her lively, expressive eyes.
Becky Balfour: Day of Reckoning. It's a poetic and ironic name for an event where I reclaim what I feel should have always been mine: The throne atop Liberty Pro. All anyone keeps saying is that I'm nothing. Everything I earned should be taken away because of my involvement with #TheSociety. To guilt me, or run me down because family means everything to me is not only a stretch, but it shows the levels of desparation others are feeling. Take a look tonight, nobody behind me. No Followers, no brothers...it's just me. When that cage door locks, it isn't just locking everyone else out...it's locking both of you in with me.
A cackle escapes the first ever Liberty champion as the screen flashes to a static before returning with a black and white shot of Balfour.
Becky Balfour: Antoinette. The girl who was added last minute. Was it your smile? Was it your pedigree? Was it your heart? Here's what I think of your heart.
Becky reaches into her jacket and pulls out a prop heart. She puts it to her mouth and sinks her teeth into it, as the heart is now the only thing in color as the red liquid drips from her chin and down her hands before she drops the prop heart.
Becky Balfour: I told you that you would have to kill me to put me down, and you accepted the challenge. Now's the time to show up and prove that your word means something. But what makes you think that after everything I've been through, everyone I've fought, all the buckets I've bled...that you will be the one to end it all? Where the FUCK do you get off thinking the end of The Society runs through you? You know what? I love the confidence, but I feel for you. The incompetence, naivety, innocence...tonight, it all catches up to you, Ant.
Becky stomps her black boot on the prop heart and then runs her tongue over her 'blood' covered bottom lip.
Becky Balfour: This is your big moment, but you have no idea what you're truly getting yourself into. You see a Golden Opportunity and assume that when the cage is raised from the ring, you will have the most important championship in this company around your waist, but you're mistaken. Your Day of Reckoning is upon us...which brings me to OUR champion, Derrick La'Bell.
You claim to be a fighting champion. To be everything that is right with Liberty, but you're just as flawed as the rest of us. You've had the nerve to compare me, and my family...to ROTTEN. The Society Lite. WE came first, which proves you don't brush up on things that you feel are beneath you. If you did your research, I wouldn't be here correcting you, but while I'm at it, allow me to correct you on something else. You aren't everything right with Liberty, you're more a poison to this company than I have ever been. With me? You don't have to wonder what I'm going to do, or what I mean, or try to see through my bullshit. I keep things transparent. I leave no confusion. But you? You pander. You lie. And most importantly, you overstate your importance to Liberty.
I'm not here to JUST take your championship. I'm here to hurt you. To make you bleed. To make you reconsider what you do to put food on the table. I'm here to change your life. When it's all over, and Ant is on her back, you'll be face down, wondering how you'll ever be able to pull yourself out of the hole you're in, and I'll be standing over you, holding what you cling to. That championship. And as you reach for a hand up, or some help...I'll spit on you and tell you to go fuck yourself. The time for talking is over.
Balfour lets out a scream as the screen flashes black and white, and into color as the Day of Reckoning logo takes over the screen before it shatters to black with only Becky's laugh carrying us to the next scene.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens up backstage of the Madison Square Garden of what has been an already intense night for Liberty Pro, but it isn’t over yet! We are joined backstage by one of the three contenders in tonight’s steel cage main event, the least likely person to be announced but a delightful surprise, Antoinette! Antoinette seems to have a different than bubbly look on her face, but one of seriousness and motivation. She’s dressed in jean shorts and a ripped up t shirt, looking a bit different than her usual sparkly self. As she lifts her head, her sweet voice speaks out.
ANTOINETTE: Madison Square Garden…can you feel it?
The fans in attendance can be heard cheering and screaming their heads off, only making the young woman smile and look down. As she takes in the moment, Antoinette looks up again before speaking up.
ANTOINETTE: Can you feel the energy in the air?! Tonight is a magical night indeed. Some would say this is my very own Cinderella story night…and boy does it feel like it! Never in my wildest dreams have I ever thought that my manifestations would come true this early…but here we are! It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in my room working on my vision board hoping to achieve just ONE thing there, but this? This goes way beyond that! Ever since signing with Liberty I knew that this place was something special. There’s a long list of talented people before me that had celebrated their success with the Liberty Championship, and tonight it is going to be MY time. It’s going to be MY name added to the list of talented superstars!
Antoinette shouts, before pointing to herself as she looks the cameras on dead in the eyes. Antoinette takes a deep breath in, really thinking about what to say before she says it.
ANTOINETTE: Tonight I am walking into that steel cage, the underdog. A lot of people didn’t expect me to actually get on the main event slot, but here I am. A lot of those same people didn’t think I would accept the offer of being in this match because it isn’t something that I am used to. Well, first time Ant is in a steel cage, first time Ant is going to win a solo world championship. You see, I’ve taken a lot of time to carefully think about my position here in Liberty and really figure out what it is I bring to the table. Before my last few matches? I didn’t have the chance to show you all what I was made of because opportunity and moments were taken from me due to other people and their desperate cravings for attention. My moments I was supposed to have sooner was taken from me from people who forgot the ways of our sport and resorted to petty tactics. In Liberty, there was more than just a brand war coming to head, but rather a battle of good against evil. And tonight? I am going to walk out of that steel cage a patriot for the good guys, sporting my new Liberty Championship.
Antoinette smirks out before licking her lips.
ANTOINETTE: Now don’t get me wrong, tonight isn’t going to be a walk in the park. I know that and I am not underestimating my opponents, but what do I have that they don’t? Is just the same thing that one of them accused me of not having…the heart for this match. Becky, you don’t know me. How dare you sit there behind a computer screen and try to shame me for having a positive attitude and not enough heart to carry with me to victory. You may be able to study my in ring technical skills, but if you paid a little more attention to your opponents rather than your woe is me attitude, maybe you’d understand that. You’re so consumed with everyone hating you and holding on to this former legacy of yours. In your head, you’re the greatest thing to ever grace Liberty but in reality? You’re more of an annoyance and irritation more than anything. The only person you intimidate is yourself, because let’s face it..you may think all these people hate you but deep down? Nobody hates you more than you hate yourself based on how you are acting lately. You may be on the poster for this event…but all it took was one twitter announcement for everyone to see who really is the face between the two of us, remember that.”
Antoinette gives a wink, confidence spewing from the challenger. Antoinette smiles and stands up tall with more poise, before speaking to the Champion directly.
ANTOINETTE: “Derrick, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking my addition into this match with grace and actually making me feel welcomed. You were right about this being the big leagues…and I am ready. Forget what Becky says about you, it doesn’t matter. I am more than excited to be facing you in this match, but I don’t want you to take it easy on me and I don’t want you to expect I won’t get out of my good nature to get down and dirty with the big kids. I know this match is going to be the biggest challenge of my life, and you’ve been a great champion. But this is my time, and I’m sorry that I need to dethrone you in the process, King.
Antoinette bows her head showing some respect before shrugging her shoulders.
ANTOINETTE: You’ve shown that you can handle yourself in the ring obviously, but you’ve never faced a competitor with as much fire and passion as I have. Don’t make the same mistake our delusional opponent made and take my happiness for me not having the heart and soul. I know I have what it takes to walk in there tonight, give it my all and walk out of The Garden the new Liberty Pro Champion and really make history. Everyone loves a good triumph tale of the underdog overcoming the challenges and coming out on top and tonight? Tonight Liberty has their own Cinderella story moment that will be talked about for years to come. Watch me!
Antoinette shouts before jumping up and down, hyping herself up as she skips down the hallway to get ready for the biggest moment of her career.

BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to a black and white camera feed. The camera is watching a room that contains Paz Guevara, who is seated on a chair and it is being watched by several security guards. Walking into the room was Nathan Callaghan. The two were seen talking, though there was no sound, and Paz was visibly pissed off, as she wanted to get her hands on Becky Balfour. But this was the deal Nathan made with Becky, that Paz would not be allowed to interfere with the main event.
Paz eventually got up from her chair and shoved Nathan before pointing at him and yelling. It looked like she was telling him to leave. The owner of Liberation obliged before shaking his head and exiting. What was that all about? And with this room containing the vengeful Paz Guevara, will Becky be able to secure the Liberty Championship for a fourth time?

MAIN EVENT: CAGE MATCH FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Becky Balfour vs Antoinette vs Derrick La’Bell
Becky Balfour vs Antoinette vs Derrick La’Bell
RECAP The bell rang as the three top stars of Liberation stood in opposite corners of the cage. Becky and Antoinette were looking at Derrick before they glanced at each other and nodded. It seemed that the two made a silent agreement as they both went to charge the large Liberty Champion. Derrick saw it coming and he charged back and knocked both women down with a clothesline with each arm. He went to pick up Antoinette but BANG! He never should have taken his eyes off of Becky, who nailed Derrick with a low blow! Derrick was bent over and Becky hit the ropes before she came back and nailed Attention Seeker (Blockbuster neckbreaker)! She went for the pin but before the two count, Ant broke it up! Becky screamed at Antoinette to stay out of her way! Antoinette shook her head and this caused Becky to flip out and she charged Ant and headbutted her! Antoinette started to bleed from the headbutt but it was as if something triggered her and she headbutted Becky back! Antoinette didn’t want to waste any time as Becky stood up dazed. Ant hit the ropes and came and hit a running big boot before picking Balfour up and taking her down with a swinging neckbreaker. Ant then crossed her thumb over her neck, letting the fans know that she was going to look to end this early. She picked Becky up and BOOM! Candy Killa- Fallaway Power bomb! Antoinette didn’t waste any time and she pinned Becky but Balfour kicked out after two! Antoinette got up to her feet and looked to go for some more offense but Derrick came in and took Antoinette out with a pounce! He then looked to focus his attention on Becky, who he clearly hated at this point. La’Bell picked up Becky and he hit her with a gutwrench suplex, followed by a second and then a third, successfully completing the triple gutwrench suplex. He then got down on top of Becky and he started to level her with Hellbows (mounted Elbow Strikes) and he wasn’t holding any back, using his MMA striking skills to really lay into Balfour and one of the elbow strikes clipped her head just enough to where she started to bleed as well. He then picked Becky up and put her in the Let Go (Canadian Rack), moving around with her like a rag doll as he tried to get her to tap but Balfour refused, screaming to the referee to “fuck off!’ every time that he asked her. What Derrick didn’t notice was that Antoinette was climbing the top rope. When he finally noticed, it was far too late and Antoinetted leaped off of the turnbuckle and nailed Rave-A-Round (Corkscrew Moonsault) and it took out both of her opponents! Antoinette then pinned Derrick but he kicked out just before the three count. Antoinette decided to try and exit the ring and she told the outside referee to open the door. He did so and she started to crawl towards the door on her hands and knees. She started to make her way halfway out of the ring but NO! Becky grabbed the door and pulled it back and slammed it right into Antoinette’s face! She flew back and looked to be unconscious. Becky decided to drop down and pin Antoinette but she kicked out right before the three count. The door was still open and Balfour went to exit the ring but Derrick grabbed her by her foot. Becky tried to kick the Liberty Champion off of her but there was no way he was letting go. He then pulled Becky toward him and then BANG! A spinebuster that shook the ring! Derrick wanted to punish Balfour and he picked her up and though she was already bleeding from earlier, he threw her face first into the cage and she bounced off of it with a sickening thud. La’Bell then grabbed Antoinette and did the same to her! He then did it to Becky a second time! He grabbed Ant to do it a second time to her as well but she caught herself on the cage and then began to climb up it!!! Derrick’s eyes widened in shock as Antoinette looked to go for the win! She nearly made the top when Derrick started to climb up himself. Antoinette is soon on top of the cage and it looks like she might be able to make it down by Derrick grabs her leg! Antoinette tried to kick him off but it wasn’t happening. Derrick held on as he made his way to the top. He and Antoinette started to battle it out on top of the cage, trading blows which Derrick soon got the better of. Antoinette was dazed! What the two didn’t see was that Balfour was climbing the cage as well! She made it up and she was seated behind Derrick. She started to club him in the back several times! Derrick tried to get her off of him but there wasn’t much he could do with his back turned and Becky was relentless! Antoinette started to recover now and Derrick had Ant AND Becky both throwing punching blows and elbow strikes at him from the front and behind and not even a giant could survive this kind of onslaught. Becky then leaped up toward the dazed La’Bell and she HIT A HURRICANRANA OFF THE TOP OF THE CAGE!!! The fans were going absolutely nuts as the two landed in the middle of the ring with a thud. Ant was shocked at what just happened but she knew she could do it now, she could climb down but wait! Becky PINNED DERRICK!?!?! The referee started to make the count and the only option Antoinette had was to break up the count, there was no way she safely made it down the cage onto the outside safely in time! WIthout a second thought, knowing that everything was on the line tonight, Antoinette went for her Rave-A-Round (Corkscrew Moonsault) from the top of the cage and SHE LANDED RIGHT ON TOP OF BECKY AND DERRICK!!! Antoinette broke up the pin right before it could hit three and she saved the match and her chance at the Liberty Championship! The capacity crowd was going absolutely nuts as all three competitors were laid out in the center of the ring. Ant, who had performed the huge move, made her way to Becky slowly and draped one arm over her chest. The referee counted but NO! Becky kicked out right before the three count could be made! Ant then slowly made her way to Derrick and tried to pin him but the big man kicked out just before three as well! Nobody wanted to let up in this match! Antoinette finally decided to start crawling to the exit once more, telling the referee to open it up. She made her way there but there was Derrick La’Bell, pulling the beaten and bloodied Antoinette by her foot away from the exit. He then pulled her up and dropped her with Primal Slam (Reverse Rotation Powerslam)! He went for the pin but NO! Antoinette kicked out before three! Any normal human would have stayed down right there but these three fighters are on another level tonight. Derrick then turned his attention to Becky, who started to stir. He grabbed her and whipped her toward the ropes and when she came back, she hit her with Prodigy in Motion (Spirit Bomb/ Pop-Up Sit-Out Last Ride)! And he went right for the pin! One! Two! The-NO!!!! Becky kicked out!? Derrick could be seen mouthing the words, ‘what the hell?’ as the fans were cheering widely! They couldn’t believe their eyes as the fighting spirit of all three of these fighters was on display! Derrick decided that if the two wouldn’t stay down, then he would make his exit through the door. He yelled at the referee to open it as he made his way toward it. He started to get his head out first and BANG! The door was slammed right into his face by Seth Lawless of #TheSociety!!! He and Warren were now ringside to back Becky up! Wait! What’s this!? The two men are both grabbing chairs and looking to enter the ring! Seth is able to get into the ring with his chair first and thwack! He nailed Derrick in the head with it immediately and the big man started to bleed! Warren was at the top of the steel steps, ready to make his way into the ring but WAIT! Someone from behind him pulled the cage door closed and right into Warren’s face! He stumbled back AND THERE IS PAZ GUEVARA!!! She took Warren’s chair from him, put the edge of it onto his neck and then slammed it down onto the ground and he flew back holding his neck in anguish. Paz then used the chair again and slammed it across Warren’s back multiple times, making sure the muscle of #TheSociety stayed down. Inside of the ring, Seth had helped Becky up and she looked over at Paz in shock. How did she escape from that guarded room? Becky told Seth to take care of Antoinette, who began to stir. He took the chair he had used earlier and went to swing but Ant ducked it! She then hit Seth with a spin kick! Antoinette then grabbed the chair and leveled Seth with it! Before she could do anything else though, Becky grabbed Antoinette from behind. Meanwhile, Paz went to get into the cage but the referee closed it! Paz then decided to start climbing the cage on the outside. Becky then dropped Antoinette with Hear Me Out (scream into reverse DDT)!!! She pinned her and Paz isn’t going to be in time! One! Two! Thre-NOOOOOOOOOOOO! ANTOINETTE KICKED OUT!!! The roof is getting blown off with the cheers from the crowd right now. Becky can’t believe it and she knows that Paz is coming. So she tried to pin Derrick, who was knocked out from a brutal chair shot from Seth just a moment ago but Derrick kicked out after two! Becky grabbed the chair to protect herself but Paz came flying off of the top of the cage and she kicked the chair right into Becky’s face!!! After gathering herself, Paz leaped onto Becky and began to lay into it with lefts and rights, she finally had Becky to herself. Seth soon stirred but Antoinette took him out with a running knee from out of nowhere! Paz picked Becky up and tossed her face first into the cage before doing it a second and a third time. Paz then grabbed Becky by the hair, lifted her up and yelled, ‘THIS IS FOR LIAM!’ And proceeded to nail Becky with Boston Massacre (cross legged michinoku driver), which is one of Liam’s finishing maneuvers. Derrick stirred and Antoinette hit the ropes and when she came back, Derrick popped her up and this all but looked over as he went for Prodigy in Motion (Spirit Bomb/ Pop-Up Sit-Out Last Ride) but Antoinette countered it into a hurricanrana!!! With blood covering her face, Antoinette looked up at the turnbuckle and the fans were going rabid. This was her moment. Antoinette would climb the turnbuckle and then BOOM! She nailed Ant-Nation Sensation: Split-Legged Moonsault right onto Derrick! She pinned and hooked the leg! One! Two! THREE!!!! DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A NEW LIBERTY CHAMPION!!! WINNER Antoinette METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 26:22 FINISHING MOVE Ant-Nation Sensation POST MATCH "Killin It" By Krewella blared over the PA system as the cage lifted and confetti flew down from the ceiling. Paz was standing over an unconscious and beaten down Balfour, while the referee grabbed the Liberty Championship and handed it to Antoinette, who dropped to her knees and stared at the championship with tears in her eyes. Her dream finally came true and after a few hard months to start off here in Liberty, she climbed up the mountain, called her shot and became the Liberty Champion. Paz looked over at Antoinette and nodded before leaving, giving Ant her moment. Warren pulled Seth and Becky out from the ring and they regrouped while a recovered exited the ring disappointed but he also gave Ant a nod of respect. It didn’t take long for Markus FK, Ashley Sands and Ashley Marie Chase to make their way to the ring and celebrate with Antoinette. Markus lifted his girlfriend up on his shoulder and she raised the Liberty Championship in the air, much to the delight of the capacity crowd. That was it for night one. The dawn of a new reign and as for how Paz got out of that room? Only time will tell until we find out. But for now, the celebration of Antoinette… Liberty Champion continues. End. |
