PRE-SHOW: RINGSIDE
PRE-SHOW MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH
Joey Barber vs. Alexis Mercer
The match between Joey and Alexis was back and forth and they both showed that they were equally desperate for a victory. Alexis hit Joey with a superkick and pinned him but only got a two count. Joey would soon fight back and he would hit Alexis with a chokeslam. He pinned her but only got a two count. He would then hit The Beantown Bomb and pick up the three count.
WINNER: Joey Barber wins by pinfall @ 4:56
The fans cheered as Joey picked up his first victory of his Liberty Pro career. The referee raised his hand in victory and he celebrated for a few moments while Alexis looked on with a frustrated look on her face.

BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson walks into the scene she is in green wrestling gear and has shamrocks on her cheeks. She smiles and nods at the camera.
Emily Jackson: I thought might as well dress in green when we are in Boston.
She smiles again but deep down you knew that she was hurting. Liberty hadnt been going well for her. She hadnt gained a victory and it was starting to get to her. She had worked hard to get here but every week it was the same old same old. She would fight tooth and nail and then she would ultimately fail. She took a deep breath as she started to walk down the hallway.
Emily Jackson: I have a family legacy to live up to honestly. It is one that might not be that GREAT but still it is something that I want to live up to. I want to be in the same breath as my brother and sister. Larissa, did a damn good job in PGW, and now she is headed to Vengeance and she has a great name built for herself already. As for Luke, well he is someone that everyone knows in this business. Some of it good and some of it bad but still he has been there and done that.
She closes her eyes once again and then nods her head and bites her bottom lip.
Emily Jackson: Tonight, Avery Smith and I are teaming together. The little bit that I have talked to her on twitter she has been awesome. She has been nice, and she has put some confidence in me that I didnt know I could have. I dont want to let her down and she has told me that I never could but yet it is in the back of my head that I will fail her.
She sits down on a chair that is in the hallway. She looks at the wall and sees the champions of Liberty there and she smiles a bit.
Emily Jackson: I want to be on that wall someday and I will do whatever it takes. I know that Avery and I have a tough match in front of us against Black Lightning. Those two were just in a tag team title match and yes they lost but yet they are still hungry for those titles. So they want to beat Avery and I to keep their names relevant. Avery and I just want to win. We want that win because then well people might start talking about us. I want to show that I am not just a pretty face but I can kick some butt in that ring.
She slowly gets up and adjusts the top of her wrestling gear as she walks off.
PRE-SHOW MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
Larclan vs. Jakob Alexander
This match-up was a tough one for Jakob Alexander, as he was against not only Larclan, but having to deal with #TheSociety at ringside. Several times #TheSociety got involved in the match, with Warren Corbett getting up on the apron to distract the referee and Seth Lawless getting in the ring and leveling Jakob. Larclan pinned Jakob several times and it looked like he would get the win but Alexander refused to give up. Eventually, a tired out Jakob would find a burst of energy and would catch Larclan with a superkick. Larclan stumbled and Jakob would then drop him with an exploder suplex before picking up the three count and the victory.
WINNER: Jakob Alexander wins by pinfall @ 6:56
Jakob Alexander quickly rolled out of the ring, avoiding any contact with #TheSociety, who were looking to pounce on him. He grinned as he looked on at the group in the ring before he started to taunt them.
BACKSTAGE
Seth Lawless looks over his shoulder. Paul Bolden his assistant has a camera on his shoulder. Seth smiles at him as the walk into the locker room. The locker room is quiet, Seth sets his bag down and adjusts the tie that he was wearing. He looks at Paul and tells him to roll it. Paul nods his head telling Seth that he is ready for him. Seth cracks his knuckles and smiles a bit.
Seth Lawless: Im going to make this VERY quick. Tonight, I get to take my frustrations out on someone that I dislike with all of me being. Ellie Poe, I dont care what I do to you in this match. You and the one that they call Scarlett Highland are what is wrong in this industry today.
He moves his head back and forth cracking his neck a bit. Paul falls asleep really quickly as the camera starts to fall and it shows Seths feet. Seth yells a bit and Paul wakes back up and puts the camera back on to Seth.
Seth Lawless: Paul! Stay awake what the hell are you thinking?
Paul Bolden: Sorry it was a long night last night boss
Seth knew what Paul was talking about. He had an addiction. Seth had told him to kick it but it never happened. Seth closed his eyes and mouthed the words of course.
Seth Lawless: Anyways, Ellie, and Scarlett I hate both of you. You see you guys have been handed EVERYTHING to you by Nathan. You havent had to work hard all you have to do is bat your eyelashes and fall on to your knees and Nathan gives it to you. Well in more ways than one.
Seth laughs a little bit as Paul shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: So, I guess I am taking it as my duty to beat both of you. First it starts off with you Ellie. You and I have had some back and forths on twitter and it has been fun and all of that but now is not the time for that. It is time for me to beat you. It is time for me to teach you a lesson, and I dont care what it is. After tonight Ellie you arent going to be wrestling anymore. I will make you rethink this career choice. Then after this maybe Nathan will give me what I deserve and that is a title shot. Im done with waiting I will just take it in my own hands
oh and Scarlett your reality show is a piece of shit.
Seth smiles as he walks past Paul, Paul falls down and the camera falls with him. The final shot is of Seth looking down at Paul.
Seth Lawless: Get up you idiot we have work to do.
PRE=SHOW MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM MATCH
Avery Smith & Emily Jackson vs Black Lightning (Romeo Black & Dick Lightning)
Avery Smith and Emily Jackson were teaming for the first time, while Romeo and Dick had been forming quite the bond over the last month or so. This match went back and forth, until Dick gained an advantage over Avery Smith. He had her on the ropes and looked to finish off the match but an overzealous Romeo Black tagged himself into the match. Dick glared at Romeo, clearly upset by the tag. The two argued over it for a moment before Dick sighed and looked to go to their corner. Romeo turned to focus on Avery but Dick grabbed Romeo from behind and nailed him with the Hip Hop Drop. The fans booed Dick as he exited the ring with a serious look on his face. Avery tagged in Emily Jackson, who climbed the top rope and leaped off with a frog splash. She pinned Romeo and picked up the win for herself and Avery Smith.
WINNERS: Avery Smith and Emily Jackson by pinfall @ 7:35
Avery and Emily celebrate in the ring together as Romeo gets up to his knees with a shocked look on his face. He looks towards the entrance ramp, where Dick Lightning is starting to laugh and dance, mocking his now former tag team partner.
RINGSIDE
Just like a week ago, a clip starts playing on the tron right above the entrance ramp. The same woman, this time wearing a hood is walking with a steady pace in front of the Northeastern University down Huntington Avenue. The Choice is, once again, the soundtrack of her footsteps while she quickly approaches the Hammerstein Ballroom, home of tonights Liberty Pro event [insert name]. Stepping through the doors, she walks down the hallways met by the curious and surprised looks of some employees.
It was the time to search myself
It was the time to understand
No more revenge
No more regrets
Just close my eyes
And say goodbye
The music fades when she reaches the gorilla position, ready to step through the curtains. The fans are cheering in anticipation, their cheers growing in intensity and filling the silence that was filling the Arena. If there was still any doubt on who that woman could be, it definitely fades when Noir by Shandon hits the PA system and she removes the hood that was hiding her face.
SAMUEL GRIFFIN: The rumors were true ladies and gentlemen! Helena Noir is back after a seven months hiatus and shes here in Liberty Pro!
The swedish woman walks down the ramp with a slow steady pace, greeted by some Welcome back chants of the fans. Her lips curve in a soft smile, an unexpected crack in her usually unflappable expression. She eventually steps inside the ring and politely asks for a microphone, which is quickly handed to her by the ring announcer.
HELENA NOIR: Holy shit, it feels good to be back!
If possible, the fans cheer get even louder. Once they fade down, she raises once again the microphone.
HELENA NOIR: Where in the world has Helena Noir been all this time? Well, let me start by belying some rumors I heard about my disappearance. As all you can see, I didnt die in my New York apartment. I didnt enter rehab, and I would be surprised otherwise since I never did drugs .I didnt marry a doctor nor a billionaire and not even a top model, as some smartass suggested. And last, my favorite, I wasnt pregnant and didnt deliver a baby. I mean, there wasnt actually the time for that, I was gone for just seven months So, what happened to me and what did I do in this time off?
She smirks at the camera.
HELENA NOIR: Thats none of your business to be fair. The only thing you should worry about is that I am back and ready to pick up my career the same way I left it. With a title around my waist. Is it me or its pretty hot in this building?
With that said she takes off her grey hoodie. Under it, she wears a black shirt with a telling writing printed in white characters: FUCK SOCIETY. Inspired by the shirt, the sold out crowd instantly starts chanting those two words over and over, putting a smile on Helenas face.
HELENA NOIR: You dont like them either, am I right? Well, truth being told, this has nothing to do with Becky Balfour and her Bitch Boys. Yet. Sure the punk-rock Barbie has something I want, but who knows? She may as well lose it at the end of the night. And if that happens, I dont see why I should waste my time with her.
Do you think Im putting the cart before the horse by taking shots at the Liberty Champion herself on my first day in this company? That I should be more humble and know my place?
Again that smirk.
HELENA NOIR: Believe me, I know my place. And thats exactly where I aimed my shots. If someone, anyone, back there thinks otherwise, well starting next week Ill be here every Saturday. Find me shouldnt be an issue.
After few but meaningful words, as is her custom, she blows a kiss to the camera and leaves the ring, still cheered by part of the audience.
MAIN SHOW
MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH
Ellie Poe vs. Seth Lawless
The two competitors square up in the middle of the ring. They lock up with Seth coming out on top, forcing Poe to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Ellie was quick to break free of Seth's grip and stand back up, only to meet Seth's outstretch foot with a big boot. On the mat, Ellie held her face and rolls to his side. Seth dropped to his knees, forcing Poe to her back as he goes for a pin but Ellie kicks out after two.
Seth quickly gets back on the attack, scoring a harsh kick to Ellie's back as she tries to stand. He pulls Poe to her feet and nails her with a couple of punches, forcing her into the corner. Taking a few steps back, Seth smashes Ellie with a clothesline into the corner. Lawless then taunts the crowd and they boo him. He charges again, but Poe dodges out of the way. Seth collides into the turnbuckle and drops to one knee, holding his chest from the impact. Poe meanwhile stands at the ropes, taking a second to catch her breath.
Seth gets back up but Ellie catches him with a pair of hard right hands. A third sent Seth up against the ropes. Ellie charges in, scoring a clothesline that sends both competitors to the outside of the ring. Ellie gets back to her feet first, pausing to gather herself as Seth crawls toward the ring steps. Ellie motions towards Seth, grabbing the back of Seth's head and forced him chest first into the barricade around the ring. Ellie then pushes Seth back into the ring. She gets in as well before picking Seth up and dropping him with a DDT.
Ellie then backs up into the corner and waits for Lawless to get to his feet. Once he does, Poe charges him and goes for her flying knee strike but when she leaps in the air, Seth catches her and delivers a thunderous powerbomb, which is basically a modified version of his Detroit Is Burning finisher. Seth pins Ellie and picks up the three count.
WINNER: Seth Lawless by pinfall @ 8:43
Cake by Rihanna cuts off Seth Lawlesss music after his victory leaving the member of #TheSociety rubbing his head in the ring in confusion.
Samuel Griffin: That music can only mean the arrival of one person
A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland appeared in pink, bubbly letters on the big screen at the top of the entranceway as the male fans in attendance began cheering for the confident rookie wrestler as she made her way to stage. Scarlett was dressed in all pink and white ring gear and her hair was pulled into two long ponytails.
Highland stopped at the top of the entranceway as her music cut off. The male fans were still cheering, while most women were booing. Seth looked at her from the ring, irate that she would ruin his moment.
Scarlett Highland: Whats up Boston!?
Scarlett shouted energetically, getting more approval from the fans who cheered.
Scarlett Highland: So, I promised a LIVE edition of A Day in the Life Of: Scarlett Highland in honor of this being Libertys FIRST ever Supershow, and Im not one to disappoint! So, todays episode is: Getting your way. Made famous by Scarlett Highland.
Seth shook his head in the ring, but kept his eyes on the rookie reality star.
Scarlett Highland: Getting your way is an easy way to achieve the ultimate goal in life...happiness. Its pretty simple. Wait...fix my lighting.
Two spotlights turned in Scarletts direction, putting the attention solely on her.
Scarlett Highland: Great...now, black out the ring because I cant stand looking at that hideous thing standing in there right now.
The fans cheered, after all, they hated #TheSociety. The lights in the ring dimmed as Seth Lawless stomped in frustration, but the referee informed him to stay put, that he wasnt supposed to leave yet.
Scarlett grinned, knowing she was getting under the skin of the bald one.
Scarlett Highland: First, always put your best face forward. Yes, you heard that right. Whoever came up with put your best foot forward is silly, putting your best face forward makes so much more sense. What I mean is, beat your face flawlessly with the proper cosmetics. Nobody can say no to a pretty face. Never over-beat your face though, see Seths fiancee Becky for example. She looks like a strung out raccoon most of the time.
Seth could be heard screaming, but due to the blackout in the ring, nobody could see him.
Scarlett Highland: Second, always play the guilt card. If you ask for something and are told no, make the person feel guilty about saying no. I have perfected the use of the lip pout, but attempt it at your own risk. You could come off looking as stupid as Larclan if done improperly.
More laughter filled The Matthews Arena as Scarlett continued.
Scarlett Highland: Finally, always know your audience, and your bosses. Make friends with them. Show them your best...assets .
Scarlett grinned and turned to the side, giving the camera a view of her backside, which had a cupcake on her gear strategically.
Scarlett Highland: If you follow all of those directions, there is NO REASON you cant live a Day in the Life of: Scarlett Highland, and get what you want. Now, what do I want? Obviously I want a match tonight. After having a productive meeting with Mr.Callaghan, he has agreed that I AM a star and I NEED to be on this show. He has also decided that maybe hes been a little rough on Sethy in there by holding him back. So, out of the fairness of his heart, guess what Seth? He has given you what you want, a match with me! You DID ask for that, didnt you?
Samuel Griffin: Wait a minute, Seth just fought a grueling contest against Ellie Poe!
Scarlett Highland: Well I wanted the match too, so I went to Mr.Callaghan, and I got my way as always. Soooo...right here, right now, it will be Seth Lawless against Scarlett Highland. Oh, and one more thing #TheSociety is banned from ringside per my request. Now, play my music and brighten up the ring.
Cake begins playing again as the lights in the ring brighten as Scarlett makes her way down to ringside, with Seth Lawless protesting this impromptu match.
BONUS MATCH
Scarlett Highland vs. Seth Lawless
The referee held Seth Lawless back as he went to attack Scarlett before the match. As soon as the bell sounded, Scarlett charged towards Seth, who was still being held back by the referee. She reached over the referees shoulder and scraped her nails across the eyes of the sweat glazed Lawless, who stumbled back into a corner, rubbing at his eyes. Get out of my way! was the command Highland shouted at the referee who moved quickly, allowing Scarlett to pounce on Lawless as he attempted to recover. She kicked him repeatedly in the stomach while he was in the corner. As Lawless slumped down to his butt, Scarlett grabbed the top rope and held on for balance as she choked him with her right foot. She pulled away at a count of four to avoid being disqualified.
Seth pulled himself back up only to be hit by a running dropkick from Scarlett that sent him back into the corner. Seth pushed his back off the corner and charged forward, nearly taking Scarletts head off with a clothesline that immediately turned the tide of the match. He looked down at Scarlett who was no longer laughing. He yanked her up by the hair and then lifted her up and threw her to the mat aggressively with a body slam. He went for a cover and Scarlett kicked out at two. Seth then grabbed her hair again but this time Scarlett was able to lift her left foot and connect with a low blow, buying her space, and a warning from the referee.
Scarlett used the opportunity to make it to the top rope. She waited as Seth rose to his feet and then she connected with a flying cross body. The high impact move scored a near fall two count. Frustration began to show on the face of Scarlett who stomped her feet on the mat. She waited as Seth stood up and she jumped up, going for a hurricanrana, but Seth caught her! Lawless went to slam her down for a powerbomb, but fatigue set in for the man who had already wrestled a grueling match. He lifted her back up as he couldnt drop her the first time and when he lifted her, she utilized a sunset flip style counter and pinned him for a three count! Scarlett immediately rolled out of the ring, holding the back of her neck as she was announced as the winner.
Winner: Scarlett Highland by pinfall @ 5:31
Seth pounded the mat in frustration, knowing it was his own fatigue and mistake that cost him the match. He began shouting at Scarlett Highland who wore a smile the entire way up the entranceway as she headed to the back, victorious at the first ever Liberty super show.
EARLIER TODAY
We're on the streets of downtown Boston, the hussle and bustle is reminiscent of New York, though not nearly as crowded. Each person is walking so fast, the camera barely catches a glimpse of anyone in particular, it never settling. Seemingly from out of nowhere, a man who had been crossing the frame wearing a hoody, turned towards the camera. #TheSociety member, Warren Corbett, steps out from the crowd.
Warren Corbett: "At CWC East Coast, I came so very close to being the first holder of the Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship. WE came so close. Since then, I've watched Carina defend the belt successfully, week in and week out. I'll congratulate you on making it this far with the belt still around your waist Carina, but we both know it was only a matter of time before we met again. I feel ever since that night, our paths have been destined to intersect with that Anarchy title on the line."
Despite the fact that Warren is speaking directly to the camera, it's almost as if the other people crossing behind him don't see him. That, or they simply don't take the time to look around and see what's going on around them. He's blending it, even with a camera in front of him, people still don't look up.
Warren Corbett: "I told you it wasn't over between us, I told you the Anarchy Championship belongs to #TheSociety and I'm here to make good on that claim, Carina. I deserve that belt, WE deserve it."
He tapped his chest, then made a circle with his hands in front of him. He was referring to #TheSociety, and all it's Followers, of course.
Warren Corbett: "While I would have preferred a match just between you and I, Carina, I suppose it's only fitting there's at least one more person throw in, right? After all, it was a multi-person battle royal that first won you the title, I shouldn't have assumed I'd be able to get you alone. Don't think that changes things. The Anarchy Championship is the only promise left #TheSociety has to make good on."
In the far background, there's something that catches your eyes. Another figure, wearing a hoody. You notice, because it's the only other person standing still within the frame besides Warren. Everyone else continues to quickly walk down the busy street.
Warren Corbett: "Though I will admit, I'm not concerned with Vitor Mata. I suppose when you think about it, Vitor and I have been on somewhat of a collision course ourselves, haven't we? You were among the very first opponents I had on Liberation 1, and you ditched your partners. You never took any responsibility for your loss, blaming Tyler Chandler for your own poor decisions. To this day you claim you didn't lose that match, never accepting the fact that you just weren't good enough to get one over on #TheSociety. Then you tried to assault us again, going after my sister-in-arms, Becky Balfour, inside a cage. That didn't work out that well for you either, did it, Vitor?"
Slowly, more and more people have stopped, looking straight towards the camera. All of them, wearing hoodies.
Warren Corbett: "You talk a big game, but you've never been able to defeat us. The main problem I have with you is your vanity. You throw around money, talk up your looks, and you think it makes you a better person. I've told you since day one that you might call us freaks, you might call us losers, but together #TheSociety is stronger than your ego will ever give you credit for. Your money, your vanity, your ego is everything I stand against, everything we despise. It's sort of poetic that I would also have to defeat everything I hate, in order to obtain what I desire most."
All at once, the 5-6 figures within the frame standing still, looking towards the camera, removed their hoodys. Including Warren. To reveal #TheSociety t-shirts.
Warren Corbett: "Ever since CWC East Coast, the Anarchy Championship has been engraved in my mind. As the people that are always forgotten, the ones that are brushed aside, doesn't the Anarchy Championship and everything it stands for, BELONG to us?"
The Followers behind him all nodded.
Warren Corbett: "Tonight...it comes home to #TheSociety."
BACKSTAGE
The scene scene opens in the back where Colt and Finn Brady are getting ready for their Tag Team championship match tonight. Finn is finishing wrapping his wrists as Colt laces up his boots.
Finn Brady: Okay we got past the Neon Tigers and we finally got our chance at the belts again.
Colt looks to his brother and nods his head.
Colt Brady: But this match is going to be much tougher, they beat us before when the titles were on the line. Plus Wren is a fucking cutthroat out there. We have to be ready for anything from her.
Finn walks over to Colt and sits next to him on the locker room bench. He looks up at his brother.
Finn Brady: What about Cami? I know you and her are a couple but Can you pull the trigger on her if it comes to it?
Colt shakes his head and gives a half smirk.
Colt Brady: Finn, I'm a professional. If it has to happen that way Then it has to happen that way.
Finn stops his brother from lacing his boots more.
Finn Brady: You sure about that bro?
Colt Brady: Do you think you could drop Izzi to win a match, Finn?
He shakes his head again before looking more seriously at Finn.
Colt Brady: You don't need to worry. Cami and I have talked about this since the first match we were booked in. If we are in the ring together, we treat each other how we would treat any other opponent. Happy now?
Finn Brady: I won't be happy until we win those Liberty Tag Team Championships.
Colts pats his brother on the shoulder.
Colt Brady: I have a feeling you'll be happy soon then brother.
MATCH FIVE: LADDER MATCH FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
Warren Corbett vs. Vitor Mata vs. Carina Eventide ©
The ladder match for the Anarchy Championship started off with Warren Corbett rolling out of the ring and grabbing a ladder. Meanwhile, Vitor and Carina start to battle it out inside of the ring. Carina takes Vitor down with a dropkick. She goes for a second but Vitor dodges it. He grabs Carina and drops her with a DDT. Before Carina can do anything, Corbett has now entered the ring with the ladder and he slams it into her head. She drops down hard and Corbett starts to set the ladder up. He climbs but Vitor pulls him off of it and then hits him with a snap suplex. Vitor starts to climb the ladder.
Carina gets to her feet and starts to climb the ladder as well. The two meet at the top and start to battle it out. Vitor then grabbed Carina by her hair and he smashes her face onto the top of the ladder. She reels before Vitor flips over the ladder and hits Carina with a sunset flip powerbomb off of the top of the ladder that has the fans chanting holy shit, holy shit, holy shit! Vitor goes to get up by Warren takes him out with a big boot. Warren then turns his attention to Carina who he picks up and throws out of the ring. Warren pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up. He puts Carina on top of it and after he does, Vitor is seen sprinting up the ropes and he leaps off of them and hits Warren with a missile dropkick, while also landing on Carina and putting her through the table.
The fans are going absolutely nuts at the carnage on the outside as all three competitors lie down and out. Eventually Vitor and Warren battle back and forth. The battle spills back into the ring as the two continue to fight. The fans start to boo as Becky Balfour, Larclan and Seth Lawless begin to walk down the ramp to the ring. The three of them walk over to Carina and then begin to beat her down while Vitor and Warren battle on the inside. The three other members of The Society set up another table. Becky and Larclan help lift Carina up onto Seth Lawless shoulders and the three of them all powerbomb Carina through the table.
Back inside the ring, Vitor Mata nails Warren with Pantera Negra(Rainmaker, but with an elbow instead of clothline). Warren looks to be knocked out as Vitor starts to climb the ladder. Becky, Seth and Larclan all enter the ring and Becky shoves the ladder down, along with Vitor in it. Seth and Larclan beat down Vitor before holding him down, not allowing him to get up. Becky helps Warren up before setting up the ladder and telling him to climb. Warren climbs up the ladder slowly before making it to the top and retrieving the Anarchy Championship.
WINNER AND NEW ANARCHY CHAMPION: Warren Corbett by retrieving the belt @ 13:35
Becky tells Seth and Larclan to give her Vitor and they shove him towards her. She drops him with a clothesline before lifting him back up and then grabbing his head from behind and screaming. Becky then drops him with Hear Me Out (Reverse DDT). Seth, Becky and Larclan then lift Warren and his championship up on their shoulders and celebrate his victory.
BACKSTAGE
Ashleigh Powells sight is greeted with cheers from the crowd, something she can hear backstage and visibly smiles from. She's finishing up applying tape to her wrists, her gear a special white & gold outfit for this night, and her title match for the Liberty Pro Gotham Championship. She stands smiling as Tim Anderson enters the shot.
Tim Anderson: Here with Ashleigh Powell; tonight, you're stepping into the ring with Isabella Strickland, and while it's not the Liberty Champion, she may be your toughest opponent yet. ...How are you feeling, this close to match time?
Ashleigh lets out a slow exhale through her nose before nodding.
Ashleigh Powell: There's no doubt about it; physically, Isys got me bested in a few different stats. She's taller, I have no doubt she's stronger. She's got more experience in the ring than me, something that would be true even without me missing a year of my career.
She nods, the smile slowly disappearing from her face.
Ashleigh Powell: I'm in for a hard fight. Not that it wasn't hard to get here; Jacob Daniels is an incredible wrestler, and Avery Smith was a challenging opponent! Isabellas gonna be hard to beat...but not impossible. Because nothings impossible, not when it comes to wrestling.
Tim Anderson: Sounds like you've got a plan!
Ashleigh nods, looking between Tim and the camera.
Ashleigh Powell: No doubt; I've got a plan going into every match; that's what I've learned, to be as prepared for anything as I can possibly be! I know that if I hesitate for a second, I can end up in the corner, and get hit with that Stricken knee strike of hers that not only beat both Scarlett and Sean, but sent Sean Callaghan packing out of Liberty Pro. That's not even getting into the rest of her repertoire, but
The smile returns to Ashleighs face, and she pats Tim on the shoulder.
Ashleigh Powell: Everyones the same height on the ground.
Tim Anderson: Good luck, Ashleigh. Let's head back to ringside!
She steps away, to finish preparing, as we head back to the ring.
BACKSTAGE
We cut to the back Jacob Daniels pacing in his locker room. He's already dressed to compete, down to his wrapped fists.
Jacob Daniels: Tonight, I get my hands on Alicia Lucas once again. In case people don't remember the history that her and I have in the short time of Libertys existence, here's a reminder. She spend the first few weeks telling the world how scared of me she is, I say is because she reaffirmed that fact just last week. Then we get put in that battle royal for the CWC and I powerbomb her ass out of the ring. Fast forward to Liberation and she costs me my match against Powell for the Gotham Championship Tournament .
Daniels shakes his head and softly chuckles.
Jacob Daniels: But I got my revenge, leveling her and letting the vultures of the Society to pick her bones after I left her in the ring. Brings us to the here and now, Alicia Lucas and Jacob Daniels in the middle of the Liberty ring, one on one. Guess what Alicia? Last person who openly admitted they were afraid to face me? Travis Blake. And I know you know him.
Jacob gives the camera a sinister grin.
Jacob Daniels: I destroyed him and left him broken after FAW Hardcore Invitational. So you know first hand what coming in against me with fear in your system can do. So go ahead and have the fight or flight response kick in. Let that adrenaline kick in your system to either idiotically charge in or cowardly run off Either way? You and I both know you're fucked.
Daniels starts to laugh as he walks off.
MATCH SIX: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Ashleigh Powell vs Isabella Strickland
The match starts with Isabella dropping Ashleigh with a hard clothesline. She gets up and she goes for another but she dodges it. Isabella gets up and Ashleigh drives a knee into her gut before dropping her with a implant DDT. Ashleigh goes for a pin but Isabella refuses to stay down and the two got into a back and forth battle, trying to outdo the other until Isabella dodges a superkick from Ashleigh and slaps Ashleigh into an effective hammerlock. Before Ashleigh has a chance to attempt a reversal, Isabella takes her out out with a cutter. She goes for the cover but Ashleigh kicks out at two, refusing to give up in the early going.
Isabella gets up and stalks Ashleigh, waiting for her to get up to her feet. Isabella decides to climb the top rope, looking to go for something big. Ashleigh stirs and Isabella leaps off of the turnbuckle but Ashleigh saw it coming a mile away and she drops Isabella with a brutal superkick counter that takes Stricklands head off. Ashleigh goes for the cover but Isabella manages to kick out at two. Ashleigh picks Strickland up and whips her to the ropes but she counters and whips Ashleigh instead. She bounces off of them and Isabella connects with a cross body block that sent her to the floor and then she follows her out with a suicide dive through the ropes just as Ashleigh began to get up and she takes her out, sending them both crashing to the ground.
The referee begins to count the two out and Ashleigh Isabella gets in the ring at the seven count. Ashleigh slides back in at the nine count, just before the ten. Isabella picks Ashleigh up and lifts her for a suplex but she counters and lands behind her back. Isabella turns and Ashleigh drops her with an enziguri. Isabella is out of it as Ashleigh steps back into the corner. Isabella gets up to her feet and Ashleigh charges, nailing Isabella with a brutal flying knee strike. She goes for the cover and Isabella looks out for the three count but before the referee counts to three, Isabella just gets her foot on the ropes and the referee catches it. Ashleigh is in shock.
Ashleigh gets up and retreats to the corner. She waits for Isabella to get up and she begins to stir. Isabella finally gets up and Ashleigh charges. She goes for another flying knee strike but Isabella ducks out of the way this time. As Ashleigh turns around, Isabella charges her and nails her with Stricken (Running Corner Bicycle Knee). Isabella pins Ashleigh but shes near the ropes and at the two count, she reaches up and places her hand on the rope, showing her ring awareness. Another close call for the match. Isabella clearly looks frustrated as she begins to talk to the referee. Strickland sighs and shakes her head before turning her attention back to Ashleigh.
As Isabella goes to pick Ashleigh up, Ashleigh counters and rolls Isabella up. The referees count gets to two and Isabella manages to kick out. The two get up and Isabella charges at Ashleigh. Ashleigh grabs the top of the rope and pulls it down, sending the charging Isabella over it but she lands on the apron. Ashleigh turns and Isabella nails her with a forearm that sends her reeling. Isabella gets in the ring and charges Ashleigh, going for Stricken again but Ashleigh somehow catches isabellas leg before Ash uses her foot to sweet Isabellas other leg out from under her feet.
Ashleigh locks Isabella in the ZETA-16 (high-angle cloverleaf with knee on the opponents neck). Isabella struggles in the hold, trying to power out of it but she cant. Strickland reaches for the ropes and comes close to it but exhaustion finally gives in as Ashleighs knee on Isabella's neck causes her to pass out. The referee confirms that Strickland has passed out and calls for the bell.
Winner and new Gotham Champion: Ashleigh Powell by submission @ 23:37
Ashleighs music blares over the PA system as announcer declares Ashleigh the winner and new Gotham Champion. Ashleigh stays on her knees in shock before it finally dawns on her. The referee brings in the Gotham Championship and hands it to Ashleigh, who raises it in the air and the fans continue to cheer loudly for her. Isabella finally comes to and gets to her feet and she looks disappointed before her and Ashs eyes meet. Ash offers a handshake to Isabella and Isy looks down at Ashs hand then up to her eyes. Isabella then grabs Ashs hand and shakes it before nodding and exiting the ring, leaving Ash to celebrate.
BACKSTAGE
Cami McGatha paces up and down the small hallway backstage where the girls are stretching out, forgoing their usual choice of warm up spot in their locker room. Already dressed for the match, Cami takes up her usual calming yoga pose and Wren scoffs at her, kicking her foot up against the wall with a sigh.
Wren Sweet: You better not pull any punches tonight, you heard what Cody said You want to show your dad youre a big girl who can handle her shit? That means beating you little boyfriends ass if it comes to that.
Cami half closed her eyes, clearly trying to tune out Wren who simply kicked the wall a little harder to demand attention, not letting up.
Wren Sweet: I am serious Cami, its like from the moment we got here all youve cared about is how you look, what Colt will think, having your morals stay in tact. What the fuck is that shit? I dont remember those morals being so important when we fucked up that Sab bitch during the Hardcore Invitational and I dont want to hear about them now.
Cami all but fell out of her pose as she rounded on Wren with a slight growl.
Cami McGatha: That is ENOUGH! I have had to listen to you, for weeks now, go on and on about how everything bad that has happened is all their fault, you know what Wren? It isnt their fault, it isnt my fault, its YOUR fault. You and your ego, I mean Christ even Killian had to cut you in at ten percent higher than me so you didnt throw a shit fit about us both being repped by him.
Cami walks over to Wren and drops her hands to her hips with a roll of her eyes, she smiles at her friend.
Cami McGatha: I love you, youre my best friend and I was so happy when we won those championships but since then you have been basically insufferable! So please, can we just go out there tonight and do exactly what it is we came here to do.
Wren Sweet: Win?
Cami smiles and nods her head in response to her partner.
Cami McGatha: Exactly.
MATCH SEVEN: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Brady Bros vs The Legacies ©
Wren tells Cami shell start the match and the two oblige. Finn and Colt play rock, paper, scissors to decide and Finn wins as he gets to start the match for his side. The two circle each other tentatively before Finn goes for the first shot, a speedy shoot for Wrens legs. Sweet sidesteps it, kicking him away. She immediately goes on the attack, driving hard elbows into Finn before sending him to the ropes. Finn leaps to the top rope and springboards backwards with a flying forearm. Wren catches him with a shotgun dropkick. She pins him but Finn kicks out.
Wren goes right back on the attack, grabbing Finn by the hair and pulling him to his feet. Finn pulls himself free, diving towards the corner and tagging in Colt Brady. Colt hops over the rope, ready to get started. Wren and Colt lock up. Colt looks to try and wrestle Sweet to the corner, but Wren manages to hold her own. Colt hooks Wren by the neck, looking for a stiff suplex. But Wren tangles her leg between Colts, blocking the lift, and counters with a snap suplex of her own. She immediately rolls over for a cover.
Colt kicks out out right before two. Wren gets to her feet. Cami shouts directions at her from the sidelines and Wren glances over at her partner before glaring and then putting her attention back on Colt. Colt has gotten back to his feet and throws a stiff clothesline. At the last moment, Wren ducks it, and Colt stumbles to the corner. Cami drives her elbow to his temple, rocking him. Colt takes a few steps back, shaking the pain out of his head. Wren charges up behind him, taking him down with a hard Russian legsweep. Rather than go for another pin, she slaps Camis hand.
Cami casually steps between the ropes, looking down at Colt Brady. Cami soon grabs his legs and puts him in a sharpshooter. Colt is in obvious pain as he struggles to reach the ropes. He finally pulls himself to the ropes and grabs a hold of them and Cami has to break up the hold. Wren yells at her tag partner, telling her to stay on the offensive and Cami nods and goes back after Colt but its too late and Colt tags Finn in. Finn leaps to the top rope and dives off, taking McGatha down with a crossbody but the move takes the referee down as well. The ring then fills with all four competitors and there is a huge battle.
Wren starts to fight with Finn Brady as Cami is still battling it out with Colt Brady. A new referee runs down to the ring and slides in and he tries to break up all of the carnage going in the ring but he has no luck. Wren Sweet soon takes Finn Brady with a Sweet Shot superkick, a shout out to her father, Bryan Sweet. On the other side of the ring, Colt Brady takes Cami McGatha out with a headlock driver, borrowing the move from fellow Nightfall graduate, Gavin Grimes. Colt pins Cami as Wren pins Finn. The original referee, now coming to his senses, makes the count for Colt over Cami, while the new referee, makes the count for Wren over Finn. Both counts hit three and one referee raises Colts hand while the other raises Wrens hand.
Winners: Inconclusive @ 18:57
Wren begins to argue with the other referee, who has Colts hand raised. The two referees then begin to argue with each other but eventually Cami grabs both championships and walks away with them, leaving a confused Cami and the Brady Bros in the ring as the ending to the match is left up in the air.
BACKSTAGE
In the backstage, Melissa Reeves sat alone in quiet contemplation, eyes closed, just slowly breathing. As the camera moved closer, she opened her eyes and smiles, exhaling once more.
Melissa: And so here we are...todays the day, Liberty Pros first ever supershow and I got the headline act. Its a great card, it really is, but we all know that the reason you guys have tuned in is to see Becky Balfour dethroned.
She frowned a little as the mention of that name,
Melissa: If it were a simple me vs her affair, I have zero doubt Id stomp her into the ground. But shes crafty - Ill give her that - and the addition of Zeke into the match only complicates it further. I didnt get this far by relying on hope, though. I didnt strike gold at FAW through luck, and I wont strike gold here through anything but my own skill.
She shrugged a little.
Melissa: Thats not to say I dont expect a hell of a challenge though. Zeke is many things, some of which I dislike, but I still respect the man as a competitor. And Becky...whilst cowardly, has the backup of her idiot squad to rely on. But it wont be enough. Ill drop every single one of them if I must. Ill go through them all if thats what I have to do in order to walk out with that title in hand.
She stood and rolled her neck from side to side.
Melissa: And then, finally, Liberty will have a champion to be proud of. A fighting champion with no excuses, no BS. Ill fight any and every single challenger who the management deem worthy of a shot. And I will win, and keep winning, through the graft of my own hands...not because of having backup or needing to cheat to win.
Finally, she smiled again.
Melissa: And when I do, and I walk out of Boston with my second championship, you will all see that I truly am at the top of my game now. Im shippin off to Boston...and I will be coming home with the gold.
The smile turned into more of a smirk as she headed off camera, ending the segment.

WINNER: Jacob Daniels by countout @ 16:35
BACKSTAGE
The feed cuts to Brendan Callaghan standing by the back entrance of Matthews Arena. The camera cannot hide the scars on his face as a result of the recent attacks he's suffered in the ring, thanks to the one man he's clearly here to address. He gives a weak smirk, his usual smug demeanor absent in his drooping shoulders.
Brendan Callaghan: Boston arena, huh? Man, it sure brings back lots of childhood memories. Remember when you used to take me to watch your friends wrestle when theyre in town and we always had a blast. And all those hockey games too? That became our thing as a family. It's what we do. Growing up, Ryan and I would wrestle or shove each other on the ice, mimicking what wed seen. Ma wasnt always thrilled about that, was she? Dont wanna see my babies hurt, she said. But you assured her that its fine and that youd look over us. And you did. You made sure we were always safe. I was 13 when you taught me to properly wrestle. Ma was so worried but again you eased her mind. Then two weeks in, I fell and injured my arm. Not because of the training, just a dumb kid doing dumb things. Even though it hurt like hell, the first thing I thought of was that youd yell at me and stop teaching me. But you did neither. After my arm was healed, we were back at it again. Ma got frantic and refused to allow me to continue training but I begged and begged cause wrestling had grown to be something really important to me. And you knew it then too, it became something we both shared.
Looking down at his feet, he kicks a loose pebble far off-screen. His gaze trails back to the camera lens.
Brendan Callaghan: But tonight, it all comes down to this. I brought you back out of retirement. Yeah I deliberately said all those things to piss you off. Disrespectful, you called me? The defiant one of the bunch, you said? HA!
He lets out a loud, sharp laugh but he doesn't look one bit amused. Yet his anger is well composed. He doesn't even have to mention his fathers name. The family feud has been very well documented.
Brendan Callaghan: You can call me whatever the fuck you want. You're just deflecting. The big bad boss has a reputation to uphold. You know damn well you can't deny the things I said that you did so why not make me look like the ungrateful piece of shit son who can't stop whining, right? But now look at you. In your leather jacket swinging a barbed wire bat in my face. So desperate to shut me up. And bury me.
His jaw tenses up, his gaze on the camera unflinching.
Brendan Callaghan: We've butted heads many times before, about everything and anything. And especially after Ma died. About her. About me. About Ryan. About Sean and Liam. Everything! We used to resolve our fights with a compromise of some sort but then one day it all stopped. Well, maybe you did. Just left things messy as they were. Like you stopped trying. Or caring. Didn't care when Ryan went to jail. Didnt visit or nothing. Up until a year ago when I started wrestling again. You suddenly became less distant and more involved. And I thought, great. But then, surprise! I had two half siblings! That alone is a shocker but then the fact that that would mean you've been living secret lives all these fucking years. And in case youre still wondering, THAT is what started all this. All those years, when Ma was still alive! What the fuck? What. The. Fuck? Nobody knew! Did she?
His voice slightly cracks at the end there as he looks away and clenches his jaw, swallowing hard. His hands ball up into fists by his sides as he takes a moment to collect himself again.
Brendan Callaghan: Not once, not a single fucking time, have you apologized. Again and again you justify your actions as if you can never do any wrong. You think I'm the only problematic one right now? Cause it's not Ryan, Sean or Liam here calling you out? Well, guess what? I'm doing this on behalf of them. They may not agree with the how but they know exactly why and I have their full support. I'm not just doing this for me. I'm also doing this for them; the people you've lied to, the people you've betrayed with your deceit for years. For Noel and Michael. For Ryan, Sean and Liam. And... for Ma.
He holds up his bare fists into the camera shot now, his face so uncharacteristically contorted with a sour expression. As he starts rolling his wrists, he looks dead into the camera lens, his gaze so much more hardened under the overhead fluorescent light.
Brendan Callaghan: Go on and try to bury me in a ditch later. I really dont care what you do to me. All I ask is just listen right now. You, are the reason why Im here. Ive followed you to Empire and then here in Liberty. And wherever else you wanna go, I will be right there in your footsteps. Because family means EVERYTHING to me. You still mean everything to me.
He pauses for a moment, clenching his jaw for the umpteenth time.
Brendan Callaghan: And I want you to know that I would do anything for you, just as much as I would to you in this match. Ive always thought that the only time in my life Id ever have to look down upon you is the day you die. But I guess I can make an exception for tonight. Youve had your turn these past few weeks. Tonight, its mine.
Without missing a beat, he turns to leave.
BACKSTAGE
Jacob Daniels is walking through the backstage area with a big smile on face after beating Alicia Lucas. He runs his hands through his thick, long hair.
Jacob Daniels: Told you Took out the garbage in Alicia Lucas. And you know what? I feel like calling my shot right now. You see, there's one name on this roster that I have issue with. She got lucky tossing me from the battle royal on the first night here. Then with Lucas help she got that cheap roll up win to keep going in the Gotham Championship Tournament.
He shakes his head and chuckles.
Jacob Daniels: Congrats on that by the way. Ashleigh Powell I don't give a shit that you won the Gotham Championship tonight. My plans haven't changed. I'm said I'd dispose of Lucas and I did. Now? I'm looking for some retribution against you. I wanna see how you fair without someone coming to your aid. But now
He smirks as he eyes up the camera.
Jacob Daniels: Now this might be a golden opportunity for me.
BACKSTAGE PARKING LOT
Wren Sweet and Cami McGatha are in the parking lot. Both girls have their bags sling over their shoulders and Wren has one half of the Tag Team Championship belts slung over her shoulder, Camis is noticeably bare as she sighs.
Cami McGatha: I dont what does tonight even mean?
Wren points to Camis shoulder and sighs, shaking her head.
Wren Sweet: You See a belt on your shoulder?
Cami shakes her head no.
Wren Sweet: You know where your belt is?
Cami bites her bottom lip clearly not wanting to answer the question.
Wren Sweet: Your boyfriend has it, so if you want it? Go and get it because I am going to leave here, I am going to drive back to my hotel room where my fiancé and my step daughter are waiting and I am going to pretend this whole night didnt fucking happen.
Wren steps forward and jabs her finger into Camis chest with a huff.
Wren Sweet: YOU let us down tonight. YOU fucked up. And YOU are the one walking away without a title, so if you have a problem with that, take it up with the guy who took yours,
With that Wren turns on her heels and slides into the back of the waiting town car, slamming the door behind her. Cami shakes her head slowly and turns to walk away, talking mostly to herself now.
Cami McGatha: I will go find him But not to ask for anything back, Guess he earned that belt, just like you did princess fair and square.
MATCH NINE: SINGLES MATCH
Ivy Warner vs Felix Vialpando
The match started on a fairly even keel with Felix overpowering Ivy on the first lockup and forcing her up into the corner, a couple of hard chips across her chest were followed by a choking elbow to her throat that trapped her against the turnbuckle. The official was eventually able to force Felix to back off and Ivy charged out of the corner with force, spearing Felix down to the canvas where the two traded blows, a back and forth of one on top and then the other before they were eventually separated and backed off to opposite corners to set things back at an even stance.
Unbeknownst to the official, Felix had removed the covering from the turnbuckle where he stood, but played it smart in not making a play for that right away. Instead .the pair locked up again and with a leg sweep, Ivy took Felix down to the mat. Felix was quick to get the upper hand again though and laid Ivy out with a spinning heel kick that left her hitting the mat hard. The younger rookie refused to stay down though and was back to her feet for them to lock up once again, Ivy was able to get around the back of Felix and toss him across the ring with a belly to back suplex hopping back to her feet instantly.
As he got back to his feet, Ivy swung Felix into the corner who, out of sight used the ropes to pull himself back before dramatically smacking his head against the exposed turnbuckle, grabbing his head and dropping down with a yell, making a big deal out of the exposure. The official went to check the turnbuckle and as he did, Felix pulled something out of his shorts, blowing baby powder into the eyes of Ivy before flattening her with his finisher and hooking her leg for the three count.
WINNER: Felix Vialpando @ 5:59
Felix stood over Ivy and laughed as he mocked her before he raised his hands in victory and the fans began to boo Felix.
BACKSTAGE
After the match, Ivy Warner was caught coming back through the curtain, her face was still covered in the baby powder that Felix had blown into it as a medical staff member handed her a bottle of water and she began to clean off her face, shaking her head and muttering under her breath in Spanish. After a moment or two, Ivy turned to the camera with a slight growl, shaking her head with disgust.
Ivy Warner: Enough! Yata! I cannot take this anymore.
Pulling the rag she was using to clean up the last of the power from her face, she holds it up to the camera and lets out a frustrated groan.
Ivy Warner: Mira, do you see this?! DO YOU?! What you see here is the last straw, I cannot take this any more, the cheating, the lies, the bullshit. I can no longer allow myself to be made into a joke by one puny little man.
She scoffs and takes a half step back from the camera with another shake of her head. Tossing the rag down to the floor with another grunt she lifts her beans to point at the camera.
Ivy Warner: You win Felix, you want to run around cheating and making a pendejo out of yourself? It wont involve me, not anymore! I am done.
She turns to start marching away from the camera, yelling in Spanish as she goes off down the hall.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage, Zeke Reed sits alone on top of a crate, his hands balled up together. Absolute seriousness radiates from his body, as he slowly cranes his head up.
Zeke Reed: "It's finally here."
Zeke Reed: "So much has changed within in the lead up to this very match. All three of us have made it to this crossroads, where we will see which one of our wills is stronger, as they say across the sea."
Zeke Reed: "I cannot say that I'm not at all nervous. I'm going into this match with the same level of momentum as the other two. There are so many factors going into this triple threat that I have to keep my eyes open and make sure that nothing wild happens."
He chuckles.
Zeke Reed: "I don't even have to be the one pinned to lose."
He drags his hands down his face, trying to compose himself entirely.
Zeke Reed: "I came in here thinking that my doctrine would be the thing that turned people against me. It's shocking to see that I'm one of the key people that are standing against Becky and her Society."
He gets off the crate, stepping more into the light.
Zeke Reed: "I've always said that I was going to be against any regime that thinks that they can take over this place. Melissa and I are on the same page, but I know that I'm the one that wants them gone. I want the Liberty Pro Championship to get rid of them one step at a time. I am an one man army here, with some people that can stand as allies one day, but enemies the next."
"Melissa might be in my corner as long as we can beat on Becky and try to wake her up from this illusion she made for herself. When that's over, I know that we'll be at ends. We're the two most prolific people in this company, outside of Becky. We have been racking up win after win, proving why we should be here tonight."
Zeke Reed: "It's only a matter of time before our ideals would have to clash. It's imperative that one of us walks out, but neither of us are polite enough to let the other take the championship. Not without a fight. And yet, we both know who the true enemy is."
Zeke walks over to a poster put up by someone. It depicts the Society in a propaganda style. Becky has her arms outstretched, accepting all those who believe they're lost. Among her are her ranks, following her without a second word. Devoted and deranged, they are. Zeke knows that they're the plague within the company, and will stop at nothing to make sure neither Melissa or Zeke walk out with the championship.
Zeke Reed: "Even I win this championship from Becky, I know the fight isn't over. Becky, despite being a vapid, off her rocker, bitch is one that knows her talent and her place. She knows that she has people waiting at her call to see to the end of anyone that rises against her. With her victim card in her hand and a truly odd imagination, she sees Liberty Pro as her platform for her speeches and philosophies."
"And I will not stand for it. Many men and women have suffered by her hand. Melissa and I are two, but we have people that are truly innocent being attacked. We have Ashleigh Powell, for example. When people as pure as her are targeted by a pack of measly hyenas like the Society, then someone has to stand up."
Zeke raises his fist in the air.
Zeke Reed: "This hand right here? This hand raised high into the air isn't individual to the plight of my people. This fist raised against the authority and wickedness of collectives like the Society is the symbol of the good fight."
He pumps it out of raw emotion brimming out of his calm demeanor.
Zeke Reed: "If you are alone in this trying time, where fiends and assholes lurk waiting to take advantage of you, stand by me."
"If you are someone who doesn't want to see Becky continue on with her tirade of lies, manipulation, and hate, stand by me."
"If you are wanting to stop this before it gets really started, and cripple this monster right now, stand by me!"
"Everyone that has come to my side as I brought the fight to their doorstep, to those out in the audience, and to those people who came to wish me good luck, I need you to stand on your feet...and raise your fist high in the air."
Now standing in the full light with his hand held high in the air, emphatic and proud, Zeke Reed starts to garner some cheers from beyond the camera.
Zeke Reed: "I'm not the nicest person nor am I a hero by any means, but tonight, I'm going to try to shoot this devil dead in the head. I'm going to walk out of here as the new Liberty Pro Champion! And I'm doing it to save all of you. So if that's what you want to see, if you want to see this young, loudmouthed boy from Atlanta, come out on top...throw your fist in the air like you just don't care..."
A beat.
Zeke Reed: "And stand by me."
HEADLINE: BOSTON STREET FIGHT
Brendan Callaghan vs Nathan Callaghan
As Brendan is coming down the entrance way, Nathan comes behind him and he slams the barbed wired bat into Brendans back. Brendan crashes the ground in pain. Nathan slams the bat into Brendans back and then his chest when Brendan rolls to his back. Nathan then throws the mat to the side and throws Brendan into the ring. Nathan yells at the referee to start the match. The bell rings and Nathan pins Brendan. Brendan somehow kicks out after two and Nathan looks shocked. Nathan gets to his feet and he waits for Brendan to get up.
When he does, Nathan charges at Brendan but Brendan moves out of the way and Nathan goes chest first into the turnbuckle. Brendan drops to his knees as hes still in pain and in a move of desperation, he low blows Nathan. Nathan drops to his knees while holding onto his nuts. Brendan stands up and superkicks Nathan in the back of his head. Brendan drops to the ground and rolls out of the ring gingerly. Nathans head is sticking out under the bottom rope and Brendan sprints towards him and kicks Nathan right in the head, nailing him with a drive-by.
The impact of the kick onto Nathans head causes him to roll out of the ring and fall down to the mat. Brendan drops down onto Nathan for the pin but Nathan kicks out after two. Brendan slaps the ground outside in frustration. He walks over to the announce table and pulls off one of the monitors from it. He waits for Nathan to get up and Brendan starts to stir. Nathan gets up to his feet and Brendan charges at him with the monitor. Nathan snaps out of his daze and lifts his foot in the air and it drives the monitor into Brendans face with a thunderous big boot. Brendan collapses to the ground in a heap and his head starts to bleed from a gash on his forehead.
Nathan drops to one knee, still dazed from the effects of the moves Brendan hit on him earlier. Nathan finally gets up on his feet and he makes a pin on Brendan. Nathan picks Brendan up and holds him in a bearhug, showing off his strength despite his age. Nathan then runs to the corner of the barricade and drives Brendan through it and it knocks that section of the barricade over. The fans start to go nuts and Nathan and Brendan both lie there in a heap. Nathan drapes one arm onto Brendan and the referee begins the count but Brendan kicks out right before the three count.
Nathan shakes his head as he gets up to his feet. Nathan picks Brendan up and throws him under the ropes and into the ring. Nathan looks under the ring grabs a chair out from under it. Brendan begins to stir a bit in the ring as Nathan slides into the ring. As Nathan sizes up Brendan, waiting for him to get up, it appears that Brendan is reaching into his pocket. Brendan stumbles to his feet and right when Nathan goes to swing, Brendan throws a handful of salt into Nathans eyes. Nathan drops to his knees, holding onto his eyes in pain.
Brendan gathers himself before grabbing the chair. He sprints towards Nathan before flinging the chair forward towards Nathans face and Brendan nails the Beantown Strike (running knee strike), which is one of his brothers, Sean Callaghans finishers, right into the chair and it connects with Nathans face. Nathan falls to the canvas and looks completely out, blood pouring from his head. Brendan looks over to the camera and yells out, This is for my family! Brendan stalks Nathan, waiting for him to get to his feet. A bloodied Nathan gets to his feet and Brendan charges him and leaps in the air, hitting a South Boston Punch (Superman punch), which is the finisher of his brother, Ryan Callaghan. Brendan then picks Nathan up and whips him into the ropes and when he comes back, Brendan hits him with a pop-up powerbomb, a shout out to Michael Callaghan.
Brendan picks Nathan up again and hits him with Beantown Plunge (Muscular Bomb - Half nelson lifted and dropped into a wheelbarrow driver), the finishing move of his brother and PNW Champion, Liam Callaghan. Lastly, Brendan picks Nathan up one more time and applies the Southie Glory, which is a stalling falling chokebomb with Tongan death grip pin. Brendan gets the three count over Nathan, whos now incapacitated.
WINNER: Brendan Callaghan @ 20:34
Brendan Callaghan stands up and looks over at the carnage. He looks at his father and shakes his head, clearly hes disappointed with the way things had to go down. Brendans bends down and says a few words to his father as EMTs come down to the ring to check on the Liberty Pro owner, Nathan Callaghan. They get Nathan up on a stretcher and roll him to the back with Brendan following close behind, obviously concerned.
BACKSTAGE
Becky Balfour was on the shoulders of a rather large Follower with a bushy, red beard. On her shoulders was her Liberty Championship. Surrounding the blonde was a sea of Followers, and in front of them were Seth Lawless, Warren Corbett and Larclan. The locker room was coated with signs stuck to the walls saying 'Save Us', 'No Longer The Forgotten', 'Fight Back' among others.
Becky Balfour: I'm minutes away from defending my Liberty Championship in a triple threat match. A match where I don't even need to be pinned or made to submit to lose my championship. Is it fair? Of course not. Especially considering Zeke and Melissa have already made it abundantly clear that neither of them want me walking out with the Liberty title.
It's funny, isn't it? People are quick to cry foul when my Society makes their presence known in a match, or when two of us work together in a battle royal, but when Melissa and Zeke talk about making sure I walk out without my title, no one blinks an eye. The double standards are ridiculous.
Seth looks over his shoulder, staring up at his fiancée with a smile as Warren and Larclan both turn to look at her as well.
Becky Balfour: On a night where we leave New York for the shit stain known as Callaghan land, aka Boston...I will do what I always do. Overcome.
Zeke comes in having never tasted a pinfall, but his confidence is bubbling into arrogance. Melissa has been more focused on winning a championship in a company that no longer exists in the form it did when she won that championship.
Becky smacked the head of the Follower holding her up.
Becky Balfour: Put me down. Now.
The Follower cautiously lowered Balfour to her feet as she walked towards her locker room door with her championship. Lawless, Corbett and Larclan walked alongside her. Becky stopped at the door and turned to them one at a time, stopping their steps.
Becky Balfour: I need to do this on my own tonight. Trust me, I'll be good.
Warren and Larclan nodded their heads and ordered the Followers back into the locker room as Seth wrapped his arms around Becky's waist and gave her a kiss for good luck as Becky walked away from him after, the camera still following her.
Becky Balfour: #TheSociety will remain on top at the end of the night. Now get the fuck out of my face.
Becky shoved the camera man to the side and then held up a middle finger as she marched towards the ring.
MAIN EVENT: TRIPLE THREAT FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Becky Balfour © vs Melissa Reeves Zeke Reed
The bell rang to begin this triple threat match for the Liberty Championship. Becky Balfour stood in a corner, absent from ringside were her Followers. Across from her in a corner was Melissa Reeves, and in the corner opposite Reeves was Zeke Reed. Reeves and Reed looked at each other and nodded before both looking in Balfours direction. As the two challengers began walking towards Becky, she stepped out onto the ring apron, prompting a round of jeers from the Boston crowd. Reed and Reeves shrugged and instead turned to each other and initiated a grapple in the middle of the ring. Becky took the opportunity to slowly climb back into the ring, but Reed and Reeves were waiting for her and dropped the defending champion with a double clothesline. Balfour rolled to the floor to regroup.
With the champion momentarily out of the picture, Zeke and Melissa tied up again and this time, the final FAW champion Melissa Reeves pulled Zeke into a headlock. Reed immediately pushed her off and into the ropes and hit a spinebuster as she returned to him. Reed went for a cover and only picked up a one count. Becky had slid back into the ring and as Zeke stood to his feet, he was grabbed by the champion and taken down with a picture perfect russian leg sweep. Balfour then turned her attention to Melissa who was slowly getting up. Becky measured her and connected with a running dropkick to the side of Melissas head as she was getting up. She tried to steal a quick victory but only managed a two count.
Becky watched as both of her challengers rose to their feet. Zeke went for a straight punch to the side of her face but Becky dropped and Zeke connected with Melissa, knocking her down. Becky laughed and put a finger to her head to show off her smarts, only to turn around and be knocked down by the same right hand from Zeke Reed. Melissa was back on her feet and spun Zeke around to face her. She grabbed the back of his head and fell backwards towards the mat, holding one foot up, driving Zekes face into her boot with tremendous impact. Becky meanwhile had pulled herself up in the corner but Melissa ran towards her and jumped up, hitting a corner dropkick that sent Becky to the mat. Reeves looked around at the fans, but turned her focus back to the champion quickly as she scaled to the top turnbuckle. With Becky down in perfect position for it, Melissa hit the Death From Above shooting star press and the fans could sense victory as the referee dropped down and made a count, but Zeke Reed broke the pin up at two.
Becky rolled out of the ring as Melissa and Zeke began arguing with each other. Melissa fired off a slap to the face of Reed. Reed smiled and went for a right hook to the face that Melissa managed to avoid, spinning Zeke around and rolling him up picking up a very deep two count. Melissa remained focused as she stood back up, waiting for Zeke. Reeves went for a clothesline that Reed ducked, before hooking his arms around Melissa and sending her to the mat with a german suplex. Reed stood up after and shouted out WORLD STAR as the crowd was mixed, some booing him and some cheering him. Melissa began climbing to her feet slowly as Zeke put a hand to his mouth making the shhhh motion. He kicked Melissa in the stomach and then dropped her with Silence is Golden twist of fate. Reed made the cover and only picked up a two count, much to everyones surprise.
As Zeke rose to his knees, frustrated that he couldnt finish the match with that last move, Becky slid back into the ring. She hurried up to Reed and dropped him with a lightning quick snap DDT and went for a cover, picking up a two count. Meanwhile, Melissa Reeves was still down on the mat, attempting to recover and Becky went for a cover on her, again only getting a two count. The champion screamed as she pounded the mat in frustration. Finally, she stood back up and hit a standing moonsault on Reeves, but Reed was right there to greet Becky as she stood back up, connecting with the Sugar Ray Jawbreaker, five punch combination, capped off with a brutal uppercut that sent the champion flying to the mat and over towards the corner.
Zeke began jogging in place, sensing victory with both of his opponents down. It was Melissa who began to stir first, with Becky looking nearly unconscious. The World Star leveled Reeves with a clothesline and then shouted Its over as Melissa showed her tenacity by standing up one more time. Zeke set her up for the move he calls Shot The Devil Dead, a vertial suplex stunner, but Melissa countered out of it, landing on her feet. She then pulled off her big move, the Facial Deconstructor! Melissa fell down on top of Zeke and hooked a leg and would have had a three but Becky Balfour dove forward, driving a double fist smash to Melissas back and breaking the pin. Becky then aggressively tossed Melissa out of the ring and made a cover of her own on Zeke Reed, picking up a three count to retain her Liberty Championship.
WINNER: And Still Liberty Champion, Becky Balfour by pinfall @ 29:55
The boos rang out as Youth Gone Wild began playing throughout the Matthews Arena. Becky was announced the winner as the referee held her title out to her, prompting Becky to snatch it from the official and clutch it against her chest as she was on her knees. Melissa was on both knees at ringside, shaking her head in disappointment, knowing she was less than a second away from being the new champion.
Becky crawled over to Reed who was still down on the mat. She outstretched both arms while on her knees by his head, with the Liberty championship in her right hand, leaving us with that image as the Liberty Pro logo flashed across the screen, ending the broadcast.
