OPENING SEGMENT
“Bad Company” by Five Finger Death Punch blares over the PA system to start the night off as Nathan Callaghan walks out to a chorus of boos with some cheers mixed in. He’s wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and his black leather jacket over it as he makes his way to the ring but it seems that his trusty barbed wire bat is missing. He soon makes it to the ring and is handed a microphone before he waits for his music to cut away and the crowd to die down.
Nathan Callaghan: Ladies and gentleman… Goddamn what a couple of nights that was, huh? Day of Reckoning II might’ve been better than the first Day of Reckoning. I have a few announcements to make here but first off? I’d like to address the elephant in the room. Paz Guevara? I explicitly told you to stay locked up in that room and not to interfere with the main event but did she listen? No, no she did not. So, my first order of business? Paz is effectively fired!
The fans boo as Nathan grins and shrugs his shoulders. He raises the microphone to his lips again.
Nathan Callaghan: Now, for my second order of bus-
Nathan is cut off as the slow instrumental of “Would?” by Alice In Chains blares over the PA system and out walks #TheSociety; Warren Corbett, Becky Balfour and Seth Lawless! Becky leads the way, with Nathan Callaghan’s trusty bat in her hand! Warren and Seth each have their respective Liberation Tag Team Championship on their shoulders. The fans boo’d loudly and started to throw trash at #TheSociety as they made their way down the ramp. Nathan looked down at the ramp surprised as the three of them made their way to the ring. They soon enter the ring and Nathan keeps his composure, as he always does. With all three of them standing in front of him, Nathan starts to speak as the music cuts away.
Nathan Callaghan: Becky, Warren and Seth! It’s good to see you three. Shit, I’ve been trying to get a hold of you three for a week! You don’t answer, you don’t text back, you don’t call! What the hell?
Nathan lets out one of his signature laughs before shrugging his shoulders. He goes to speak again when Becky takes the mic from his hand, causing Nathan to raise his eyebrows.
Nathan Callaghan: You’re still a feisty bitch, I see.
Nathan could be heard even though the mic wasn’t directly in front of him.
Becky Balfour: Feisty? We’ll get to that later. But, you know, I am smarter than a lot of people give me credit for. Afterall, while WE…are The Society, it came from my…fucked up head. This idea, that the rejects can run the asylum. I guess I always fantasized, but do you know what wasn’t a fantasy?
Becky grins sadistically.
Becky Balfour: The video tape of the room Paz was locked in. I was able to get my hands on it, but something was off.
Becky then hands the microphone to Seth.
Seth Lawless: The funny thing with the video though Nathan was that it was fuzzy. It’s like someone was trying to hide something. At first I thought I was getting older and my eyes were failing.
Nathan grabs a mic from ringside to respond.
Nathan Callaghan: Well, that’s exactly what I was trying to tell all of you three. Somehow, the feed got fucked and I have no idea who let her out. Maybe it was one of my kids. Probably that idiot Brendan, you know how he is! He loves to undermine his old man. Disrespectful little shit!
Warren takes Nathan’s mic and that is two times that Nathan has had a microphone taken from him.
Warren Corbett: You see, I couldn’t help but know you would say something like that. Toss the scent in some other direction. Becky told me to trust you weeks back, and I put those uneasy feelings aside at the time. Now, it just so happens that the same security footage we wanted happens to somehow be tarnished? We’re just supposed to accept that? Look at this, Nathan!
Warren shouts, pointing to the screen where the footage plays. One moment, Paz is sitting behind the locked door with guards blocking the door. Suddenly, all figures blur together into one large blob, voices are heard saying nothing but nonsense, scrambled across every frequency. When the feed resumes, Paz is no longer inside the room. Nathan retrieves another mic from a ringside worker and he goes to respond again but no! Becky takes the microphone.
Becky Balfour: No. The excuses and the lies? They end here. You know it was a shame that the video was so…tarnished. Scrambled. Fuzzy. But, technology? It has advanced so much over the years, and for the right price, I was willing to bet someone could fix this up. Fortunately for us, I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world, and money was no issue.
Becky’s lively eyes go cold as she turns to Seth and then Warren. The three of them then fix their gaze upon their boss. Nathan knows the jig is up and can’t help but laugh and shake his head, all the while, the video feed on the screen was now cleared up. The video shows Nathan Callaghan ordering the armed guards to step aside AND HE LETS PAZ OUT! While he doesn’t have a mic, Nathan screams out one last sentence that can be picked up.
Nathan Callaghan: NO ONE FUCKS WITH MY KIDS!
It was clear that the guilt of what happened to his children, especially Liam, had overwhelmed Nathan with guilt and Paz’s appearance and convincing him was all it took for him to turn on #TheSociety again. The owner of Liberty Pro sucker punched Becky in the face with a right hook and she stepped back for a moment, grabbing at her jaw. Before Nathan could do any more damage, Warren grabbed him from behind. Corbett locked a chain around Nate’s neck with one with right hand, yanking upward. Callaghan quickly reached up to grab the chain, but Warren’s left arm quickly restrained one of Nate’s hands. Warren’s power was too much. Becky spit out blood onto Nathan’s face before pointing his bat at him.
Becky Balfour: I said we would get back to the feisty part, right?
Blood runs down the lower lip of the former Liberty champion as she grins, showing off blood stained teeth.
Becky Balfour: This is it. This is our big climax. Years in the making. Aren’t you excited?
Becky laughs manically as Nathan looks at the bat that Becky was spinning in her hand. He mouths ‘you crazy bitch’.
Becky Balfour: You brought us in, and gave us the little clause in our contracts that says we can’t be fired. Not by Lily, not by anyone and certainly not you. This was fun, Nate, it really was. But you picked the wrong family to fuck with. Game over.
Nathan tries to headbutt Becky despite the chain wrapped around his neck, but Seth jumps in and headbutts Nathan instead! Nathan is dazed as Warren tightens the chain, yanking it and straightening him up like a dog before WHACK! Becky slams the barbed wire bat into Nathan’s gut. He keels over but Warren yanks him back to his feet via the chain around his neck, hanging him there, choking, as Becky relentlessly slammed the bat into Nathan’s abdomen over and over. Nathan’s shirt was ripped to shreds and streaks of blood ran down his torso, his neck turning purple, as Becky gets in his face. Nathan did his best to maintain his cool, but he had drool running out of his mouth and down his chin as security rushes the ringside.
However, before they can enter, the entire front row clears and Followers surround the ring! Security can’t get in the ring to save their boss! A single member of the security team gets past the Followers, running right into Lawless. Seth lifts the guy and sends the security team member head first into the turnbuckle. He takes hold of the guy's head, forcefully shoving it back into the turnbuckle three times over, before tossing him right back over the ropes into the sea of Followers below. Various roster members also run out to ringside, trying to save the owner of Liberty Pro from certain annihilation but no such luck. They are helpless as Becky holds the bat up to Nathan’s face.
Warren lessens the force on the chain, allowing Nathan to crumble to the canvas. Seth and Warren give Balfour a nod, and she presses the barbed wire against his forehead, swishing it around, peeling the skin from his face and causing the cameras to be cut as the graphic nature was far too much to be shown! We hear Nathan screaming as the screen turns black before cutting away to a much needed commercial break.

MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Markus FK vs Callie Buchanon
Markus FK vs Callie Buchanon
RECAP Markus and Callie have had issues before, mostly stemming from Callie pulling shady stuff with Antoinette. Callie tried to do the same kind of shady things in this match and against a less focused Markus? It would have worked. But over the last month? There has been a change in Markus FK and it’s been obvious. The giant man has been on top of his game. Every time Callie tried to pull something from up her sleeve, like when she got Markus with a thumb to the eye and then went for her Callie-fornia Dreaming (Regal Knee)? He was able to counter it and then turned it into Frei Train - Running Lariat! But Markus wasn’t done there. No, the big man wanted to send a message to the world. He made a slashing motion on his throat, signaling the end. He picked up Callie, who put up a fight at the beginning here, but she had nowhere to go now and Markus ended her with Go FK Yourself - Triple Powerbomb! He pinned her and picked up the win, getting himself back on track. WINNER Markus FK METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 7:10 FINISHING MOVE Go FK Yourself POST MATCH After the match Markus FK makes his way over to the ropes, requesting a microphone from the timekeeper. After being handed one he moves into the middle of the ring, a slight smile on his face. Markus FK: I can’t lie - that felt good. The crowd cheers that statement, naturally, prompting a nod from Markus. Markus FK: Because it’s been a while since I’ve been in this ring and actually…just…enjoyed myself. Weeks ago I beat our Gotham Champion, BLC, right in the middle of this ring - and how was I rewarded? I got that oaf and his yapping little puppy shoved into the match that I earned, only for him to do absolutely nothing with the opportunity and get himself pinned for his troubles. Great. Frei rolls his eyes, clearly annoyed at the entire situation. Markus FK: Don’t get me wrong, Brianna did everything a champion should do, she took on all-comers and damn, she showed out. But she didn’t beat me, and that eats at her because she wants to even the score, as any self-respecting competitor should. So I’m standing here in this very ring to do the exact thing my gorgeous, inspirational fiancée did - I’m calling my goddamn shot. The unmistakable reference to the Liberty Champion draws a huge reaction to the crowd, and riding the wave of that reaction Markus tilts his head to the side slightly, a grin forming quickly on his face. He turns to the entranceway, the man mountain making his way over to the ropes, leaning over them. Markus FK: Brianna, any place, any time, one versus one for your Gotham Championship. The match I deserve, the match you deserve, and most importantly the match all of these great fans deserve. Amongst a roster full of despicable pieces of crap, let’s show the world that people who treat this business with respect still exist. See you soon. With that Markus tosses aside the microphone, stepping through the ropes and heading up the ramp. |
BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to Dex Morant walking down the hall when he comes face to face with a door that says, “Nina”. It’s the locker room for the Anarchy Champion, whom Dex is teaming with tonight. Dex didn’t waste any time before he quickly knocked on the door.
Dex Morant: Yo, it’s Dex!
There was no answer from inside the locker room, but moments later the door opens and The Viper is standing on the threshold, leaning against the left door’s hinge. She has a stern look on her face, not the warmest welcome for her tag partner.
Nina: Sup?
The Chicago native acknowledges him with a slight nod. Dex gives a nod back before he begins to speak.
Dex Morant: Well, I know it’s anything goes out there tonight but I still like to be prepared. Dylan is a moron, so I’m not trying to let him and that dumb bitch he’s boinking show me up out there and I bet you feel the same.
Nina: Don’t.
She quickly replies, shaking her head.
Nina: Don’t pretend you know how I feel.
The tone of her voice is serious, detached, almost dejected.
Nina: You’re lucky someone reminded me that I’m a fucking professional, or you’d have been on your own tonight, dealing with the consequences of your actions.
Dex furrowed his brow and titled his head.
Dex Morant: My actions?
He paused and scoffed for a moment.
Dex Morant: My actions are why you’re still the Anarchy Champion. Now, I wasn’t gonna bring that up but the facts are the facts. You should thank me but hey, I know you don’t like to talk, so how about you thank me by winning this match, yeah?
Nina let out a chuckle.
Nina: Actually, I do like to talk, I just don’t see the fucking point since, whether I talk to management or to my felllow roster members, it’s like I’m screaming into the fucking void.
A sigh now escaped her lips.
Nina: I don’t owe you shit Dex, let alone a thank you. I could be done with you and Dylan, I SHOULD be done, one way or another. But with the stunt you pulled? You didn’t allow me to move on from you two morons, you dragged me back into your high-school drama BS. The least you can do tonight is ending this thing between you and Dylan and get out of my sight before I change my mind and show you what I think about your “help”.
Dex rolled his eyes and chuckled softly.
Dex Morant: You know, you were a lot likable when you had that redhead around you. Now you’re just an angry bitch. Stay outta my way tonight.
Dex went to turn and begin to walk away. Nina waited until her partner for the night turned around the corner. Now that she was alone, she channeled all her frustration in that right fist, carving a hole through the wooden door. The camera then faded to black, cutting to the next segment.

MATCH TWO: TAG ANYTHING GOES
Dex Morant & Nina vs Dylan Shepherd & Rowen Spencer
Dex Morant & Nina vs Dylan Shepherd & Rowen Spencer
RECAP It was obvious that there was some tension between Dex and Nina from their previous conversation in the night. With this one being anything goes, it meant there was no need for any tags and all hell broke loose. Nina and Rowen fought and Dex and Dylan clearly had it out for each other in the beginning. Dylan ended up getting the edge on Dex for a bit of the match, getting some real good licks in before he pulled out a… Old school cell phone that was shaped with legos? Yup! It was! Dylan acted like he was making a call as he waited for Dex to stir and WHAM! He slammed the lego phone over Dex’s head, causing legos to fly everywhere. It wasn’t over yet though, as on the outside of the ring, Rowen had been beating down the Anarchy Champion, slamming her into the guardrail before throwing her into the ring post. The tide turned when Nina got her hands on her Anarchy Championship and when Rowen charged, Nina took her out with the belt! Dylan made his way out of the ring and he took the belt from Nina but she took him out with a superkick that sent him into the ringpost before she dropped him with a running DDT. Nina had the edge here but WHACK! She took a chair shot across the back! But from WHO!? The camera panned over and it was Dex Morant!!! Dex had a smirk on his face as he cracked the chair over Nina’s head, calling her a stupid bitch before leaving. Dylan soon stirred and put Nina in the ring before hitting her with Big D Driver (Jumping Piledriver)(Usually onto something)! He pinned and got the three count for him and Rowen. Backstage, Melissa Reeves is just outside the gorilla position, taping her wrist as the camera closes in. She smiles, but doesn’t stop.
Melissa: Hey guys… She finishes one wrist and starts on the other. Melissa: Another night, another match right? Now let’s see…Chase Romano, she seems a capable girl. Young, got plenty ahead of her in her career. She called tonight’s match the biggest of her career and that might just be the truth for her.
She shrugs.
Melissa: For me, though, not the case. Tonight I’ll take Chase on, welcoming her challenge like I do any other. But after that, I will be looking higher up the pecking order and making a bigger splash again.
Second wrist taped, she focuses on the camera.
Melissa: So, Chase, let’s see what you’ve got and how you fare. Good luck. She turns toward the curtain and pushes through, off toward her match.

PREVIOUSLY RECORDED
We hear the theme music from X Files blaring through a radio followed by the beeping of a horn. Suddenly The official merchandise van of AAA aka The Fish Taco truck rolls into the merchandise area running over a stand that was already set up. Ashley Sands hops out of the passenger’s side of the truck as Antoinette hops out the driver’s side looking worried and sad as she sees the stand she ran over. Then the back of the truck opens and out pops AMC alongside some workers who quickly move in and start taking out the merchandise.
Antoinette: Sorry! Gave it a little too much gas.
Ashley Sands: Don’t worry about it, Ant. This looks like a bunch of Society stuff so no one was around.
AMC: Thanks fellows. Now remember Ant will be paying you guys later and not with money either if you know what I mean
AMC gives them a little wink wink and sends them on their way as Ant looks at her confused. AMC then goes into her saleswoman stick as if this was one of those medicine shows from the Old West
AMC: Gather round people, gather round! What we have here tonight is the official merchandise of AAA. That’s right folks we have any and all merchandise you could ever want as we have Ant shirts for $10, we have Ashley Sands shirts for $20 and of course we have AMC shirts for $25 and I promise you they are hot, Hot, hot so BUY THE SHIRTS!!!!!!!!!
The fans start clamoring over as Ant giggles at AMC doing her bit as Sully collects the money.
AMC: If shirts aren’t your thing then we also have the official AAA Funko Pops so get yours now before they are gone because these are truly collectors items but that is not all we have posters and coloring books for the kiddies. We also have a very special item that I will be putting up for bid right now for all the ladies here tonight.
Antoinette and Ashley look at AMC confused as they know nothing about an auction.
AMC: This item is courtesy of Ashley Sands and the bidding will start off at lets say $50. For one lucky lady you can experience what it's like to be with Angelo Sands!!!!
Ashley Sands eyes get huge as AMC lifts up a glass container with Sands flesh colored dildo inside. Ashley reaches in a hurry and grabs the case and holds it down as if it were a precious item.
Antoinette: EWWWW!!!!! MY EYES, MY EYES!!!!!!
Ashley Sands: Ang Jr. is NOT for sale. Let’s just move on to the Ant Bath Water or something. Or we can make it a real yard sale and carnival type deal with games like “Guess Balfour’s Real Hair Color”.
AMC grumbles at her lost opportunity to make serious money but she then pulls out a crate of jars filled with water
AMC: As Ashley just said we have more of that ever popular AAA exclusive item we call the water of champions!! That is right folks we have FRESH genuine Antoinette Sands bathwater, this water was just collected a few hours ago as Ant was taking her bath so step right up and buy yours today! If that is not your thing then step over to Ant’s table here and put your money down and your guesses as to what the hair color of Becky Balfour really is. Thanks for the idea Ashley.
Ashley Sands smirks as she quickly hides away her precious item, Ant starts taking down the peoples hair color guesses.

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Chris Sanderson vs Erik Malone
Chris Sanderson vs Erik Malone
RECAP This match was an interesting one. Erik Malone was up to his usual antics throughout the match and Chris? Well, it seemed that the former 2X MWE Champion had his doubts creeping up here and there. Every time he had just a bit of momentum, he would start to second guess himself and this would give Malone the opening he needed to take advantage. Erik soon went for a Liberty Falling (Coffin Drop) but Sanderson showed off his awareness with knees to the back of Erik. This gave him just enough confidence to go for his Untitled Finale III - Cobra Clutch Suplex and nail it! He pinned Malone and got the three count and the win. BACKSTAGE
From the background, it’s clear where Chloe Collins currently sits. She’s in Nathan Callaghan’s office. Her expression is a mix of frustration and disbelief, but she steeples her fingers against her lips and looks dead ahead, lost in thought. The camera pans back, showing her loyal soldier: Jackal, with her t-shirt barely hanging on around her massive shoulders, stands just behind her, watching the scene unfold. The camera pans back further, showing several of Liberty’s staff, arguing amongst themselves and crowding the office. One of them turns to Chloe.
Crew Member: “And what about you guys? Isn’t SABER supposed to be protecting us?”
Chloe raises an eyebrow.
Chloe Collins: “We weren’t hired to protect Liberty. If we were, rest assured that we’d have the manpower on standby to intervene in situations like this.”
One of the sound techs jumps in.
Sound Tech: “What about now? I think it’s pretty fucking obvious that the Society is out of control. It’s not just the three of them. They’ve got followers. They’ve got a full army.”
A member of security is the next to speak.
Security Guard: “We can handle fan altercations and little things here and there, but… we don’t have the equipment or the training to stop the kind of numbers The Society has. If they were to go to war with Liberty, we’d be in trouble.”
There’s a murmur of agreement among the crowd.
Security Guard: “You guys have a reputation. Your work in PSW? In Valiant? Liberty needs SABER if it’s going to stand.”
Chloe looks from one staff member to the next.
Chloe Collins: “We’ll look into it. In the meantime-”
Crew Member: “In the meantime, we don’t have anyone running this show.”
Security Guard: “With respect, Miss Collins? Consensus in the back is that things are starting to get out of hand around here. With Lily and Nate’s constant fighting, The Society running around unchecked and untouchable, Blyss Lockhart taking the championship by force… then we’ve got DJS on the scene and Chuck Matthews lurking around? We don’t know what’s going to happen.”
Sound Tech: “We need SABER.”
Chloe looks up at Jackal.
Jackal: “I can assemble a team-”
Chloe Collins: “We can’t operate without the person in charge giving us the freedom to do our job. Nathan let us work, but he’s gone for who knows how long? We don’t know who will be stepping in to take over.”
??: “That would be me.”
The crowd looks to the door and parts, and in walks Jade Night, looking at the assembly in what was previously Nathan Callaghan’s office.
Jade Night: “You’re absolutely right. Things are mass chaos around here. So until we can figure it out, and until Nathan Callaghan is fit to resume his duties… I’m in charge of Liberation.”
She circles the desk, taking a seat as though she’d done it a thousand times. She glanced across, to the woman in the wheelchair.
Jade Night: “And let me make things clear: At the present time, no, Liberty does not ‘need SABER.’ The Callaghan family has always run Liberty their way, and I intend to follow their example. I’ll take care of The Society, and Lily, and all the other issues you’ve aired here tonight. We don’t need a private army parading through the halls threatening the safety of our staff and fans. So… thank you, Miss Collins, but no thank you. Your ‘monsters’ as you call them, are still under contract and will be employed as such, but you are not to intervene in Liberty affairs. That being said? You’ve done enough tonight. So Jackal? Take the rest of the night off. Thanks.”
Chloe looks at Jade for a long, tense minute. She gives a small nod.
Chloe Collins: “I suppose that’s it, then. Mason, we have work to do elsewhere.”
Jackal nods, taking the handles of Chloe’s wheelchair and pushing her from the office. Behind them, Jade calms the crowd in her office, fielding their concerns one at a time. Once outside the office, Jackal pauses.
Jackal: “I don’t like this.”
Chloe Collins: “Agreed. Did you find anything?”
Jackal: “Our accountants have been poking around in Callaghan and Matthews’s finances. Callaghan’s is easy enough, but Matthews is a little trickier. He moves a lot of money around. He’s got shell companies for his shell companies. It’ll take some time to sort out the maze.”
Chloe Collins: “Keep at it. If I know him, he’s up to something. He never just… appears.”
Jackal: “You think he coordinated the attack on Nathan? After he just made deals with him last week?”
Chloe Collins: “I think it’s very convenient that Chuck Matthews appears and warns Nathan about the Society, and then the next thing we know, they’ve attacked Callaghan on his own show. I think it’s very convenient that Jade Night is the one stepping in to take over, when we know she and Chuck have done business and have been on good terms in the past. It could be coincidence-”
Jackal: “But nothing is ever a coincidence when Matthews is involved.”
Chloe Collins: “It appears I have to eat my words after all. You and your team were right. He’s certainly involved.”
There’s a long silence. The two women exchange glances, both appearing deep in thought.
Chloe Collins: “...I might know a way in.”
Jackal stands at attention, ready for her orders.
Chloe Collins: “Nathan said something last week… somebody’s backing Lily, and whoever it is, they’re powerful, and they scare her. Blyss Lockhart is a powerful ally for her to have, and Diamond Jack Sabbath could be a major problem. He’s a wildcard. We need to watch him closely.”
Jackal: “And you want to know who’s funding Lily.”
Chloe Collins: “Get the team on it. I need a name. In the meantime, I need Reaper to work Syn. Between Syn and Chuck, we have some very powerful people operating in Liberty. These are dangerous waters.”
Jackal: “I’m on it.”
Chloe Collins: “Make me proud, Sergeant.”

Chase Romano: “Wade. I don’t know what’s going on, but I can’t keep calling you just to talk to your voicemail. This is a jerk move, Wade. I haven’t seen this side of you before, I don’t think I like it.” Click.
Up until this point only the audio was coming through the speakers, showing nothing but a black screen. However, after the last recording, the visuals kick in, showing Chase Romano wrapping her own wrist for the match. She looks super nervous, seemingly trying to repeat notes to herself, possibly from footage she had watched or something of the sort. She takes a look at the camera in front of her, and her expression changes to a smile.
Chase Romano: “You know, I haven’t said this until now…but I have always looked up to and admired Melissa Reeves. I’ve always wanted to have the same career that she was able to make for herself in the wrestling world, blazing her own trail. Believe it or not, I was even in the crowd the night that Melissa won the Liberty Championship.”
She shakes her head in disbelief, bringing a hand to her head.
Chase Romano: “It’s absolutely insane how far I’ve come. From being in the crowd and looking at the ring, to fighting in that same ring. Saying Melissa Reeves is going to be my toughet opponent to date would be an understatement. She has such a vast amount of experience, but I’m hoping I can give her something she hasn’t seen before. If anything, I know that being with her in the ring is going to make me that much better of a wrestler. So honestly, I can’t wait to get in the ring tonight, it’s a dream come true.”
She pauses for a moment, glancing away from the camera. Her smile fades as she remembers the events of last week.
“AMC and Ashley, I want to apologize to you two on behalf of Wade. That’s not the kind of person I know him to be, I don’t know what came over him. But what’s more is that it’s not who I am. I want to be clear about that. AMC even wished me luck despite the way that Wade acted last week and that just shows the level of sportsmanship they have, comparably. Tonight, I want to have a great CLEAN match, I’m ready!”
She walks off camera as the scene fades.

RINGSIDE
The scene opens up live from The Callaghan Warehouse in Brooklyn and the night has already been one to remember so far. Needing some light hearted moments, “Killin’ It” by Krewella begins to play and the fans immediately jump to their feet. As the beginning of the song plays and the fans start humming out the words, they wait in anticipation for their new Liberty Champion.
“Brooooooooklynnnnnnn!!!!”
The familiar high pitched tone of the North Carolina native is heard before the naturally hyper young woman comes bouncing out from the back with a large smile on her face. She is decked out in her unique street fighter gear complete with ripped jean shorts and sequined fishnets, but most importantly was the Liberty Championship strapped around her waist. As she twirled a mic in her hands as she walked to the center of the ramp, she looked out to the audience before taking in the moment for a second.
“It’s good to be back home!!”
Antoinette shouts before smiling as she rushes down the ramp. As she rushes she slaps the hands of several fans in the audience, holding her Championship high up for those to slap and touch and get a feel for the gold she promised to win for them. As photos are taken and memories are made, Antoinette smiles and politely rushes herself into the ring, jumping up and down all energetic as she looks around before going from turnbuckle to turnbuckle showing off the Championship high above her head. As she finishes up she jumps down and skips to the center to start speaking.
“Greetings my favorite little earthlings! I am SO beyond proud to be standing here tonight in this ring as YOUR Liberty Champion!”
A huge pop is heard, preventing the young athlete from speaking for a moment. She shakes her head in disbelief before speaking out once more.
“I did the unthinkable. I did what millions of people thought I couldn’t do. At the first night of the two night epic event that was Day of Reckoning I overcame the odds and went into a match that almost everyone thought was going to be my deathbed. I did one for the good guys and came out as YOUR Champion! You know….I thought for a real long time what I was going to say when I had this moment. Truthfully, there was a point in time I didn’t think I would ever get here. I was at such a standstill in my career and at such a low rut that I was letting the unfortunate things that happened to me here get the better of me. I almost let the foul actions of others count me out and steer me away from my dreams. If I would have done that? I would not be standing right now where I am! You know, there are many people that can argue that I didn’t belong to be in that cage match or that I didn’t rightfully earn this Championship during it.”
Antoinette shakes her head before continuing.
“To those people I say you’re crazy…but I’m crazier. I’ve earned my rightful spot here at the top in Liberty and I am going to stay here. There’s no Society that’s going to intimidate me or attack me and take me out. There’s no people looking for their fifteen minutes with chair shots. This is a new era in Liberty and I don’t mean just on Liberation..”
Antoinette flashes a grin, giving off a wink before she smirks as the crowd cheers.
“To be the best, which now I know that I certainly am in the running of being, you need to beat the best. Even if that means defending my Championship every single time I step into a Liberty ring!”
Antoinette shouts, getting a huge pop from the crowd as she holds her championship high above her head.
“This is the FIRE ANT ERA! In this Era, ANYTHING is possible for ANYONE. I’m not like everyone else and I will continue to always be that way. I’m not going to turn away people who want to take me down and I’m not going to run away scared from people who have a louder bark than I do. Like I’ve always said, I may not be the strongest or the most quick with harsh words but I have what it takes to be one of the best wrestlers in this company! Just wait and see…”
Antoinette shouts before smiling wide into a sea of cheers as she throws the microphone down and holds up her championship high again above her head.

MATCH FIVE: SINGLES
Chase Romano vs Melissa Reeves
Chase Romano vs Melissa Reeves
RECAP The two weren’t matched from the get, but Chase wasn’t going let that stop her from trying. Reeves looked as if she was teaching a master class against Romano, who tripped up a few times, but still managed to kick out of a corner dropkick, and then get out of an armbar that Reeves had her in. Chase hit a stride with a combo of kicks into a spinning implant DDT. However, she took too long to capitalize, as Reeves grabs for her leg. Reeves locks in the Iron Lock (Heel Hook) at one point which has Chase yelling in pain and reaching for the ropes with all her might. Luckily for her she’s able to reach the bottom rope and the ref tells Reeves to break the hold. Chase keeps hold of the rope, clutching at her foot. The referee, looking concerned, tends to Chase and asks if she’s injured at all. Wade Manson, having been missing since No Man’s Land, runs down to the ring with a chair and slides in while the referee is checking on Romano. Chase yells out to Reeves who turns around in time and ducks under the swinging chair. Manson’s swing connects with the ropes, bounding off and smacking him right in the face with a hard thud. Reeves looks to Chase who waves her hands back and forth, trying to motion to Melissa that she had nothing to do with it. The referee waves his hands, signaling that the match was still on. Reeves goes in for a tie-up to restart the match and Chase obliges, though clearly shaken by what has just happened. Reeves overpowers Chase, whipping her across the ring. Chase bounds back and missteps into a lift from Melissa, who nails her with a Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) on the way down for a three count pin. KENDRICK KROSS: Cars. Man. They can be so finicky don’t you agree X? Because I’m sure you think I’m finicky in a way. Not that it bothers me. What is it that’s been said. I’m not good enough to beat you? That I should hold onto that one win?
Kendrick shakes his head as he steps on the roof and then sits on the roof of the car.
KENDRICK KROSS: You can say anything you want on Twitter, X. Hell we both can but what remains true is you just swear up and down you’re way better than me. I just have no chance to get the W. Are you sure about that though. I’m not. Yeah, I don’t have the accolades but you are talking to a record holder here in Liberty. Something I can say I don’t have. But I know, you’re going to find a way to discredit that like others have. That’s fine. I’ve got look down in my whole career. You think because that’s happened I have no talent. That I can’t do a damn thing. When it’s actually further from the truth. You and others will begin to see that tonight.
Kendrick slides off the top of the car with a smirk.
KENDRICK KROSS: If I’m so bad then after tonight then you won’t have to worry about anything. That unfortunately is far from the truth. Your ego is going to be like the roof of that car. Dented. Beginning to break. That won’t look good for you. Because that’d be two wins in a row against you.
See you out there, X. Bring a suction. You’ll need it for that dented ego.
Kendrick winks as he walks from the camera.

Kendrick Kross vs Xavier Laroux
Kendrick Kross vs Xavier Laroux
RECAP Kendrick Kross and Xavier both had it out for each other and it showed that the two were having a heated battle in this one. Neither of them wanted to give an inch, but Kendrick kept on getting the lead when Chrysalis would help distract Xavier or the referee at certain points. Kendrick kept getting the advantage thanks to the help but he was soon distracted when he heard the crowd going NUTS! Behind Chrysalis was GAVIN GRIMES!!! She had just low blowed him over in GEW! Chrysalis slowly turned around and screamed when she saw Gavin standing there and the Captain didn’t hesitate to get his revenge. He grabbed her by the head and BANG! The Crowning! Kendrick tried to get out to help Chrysalis but Xavier grabbed him. Kendrick shoved X off and it took the referee out momentarily. Gavin slid in the ring with a chair and he swung it at Kendrick but he ducked and it nailed a recovering Xavier right in the head! Gavin stood there, jaw dropped in shock as he knocked out his friend. Kendrick kicked the chair into Gavin’s face, taking him out. He then pinned Xavier and the referee started to recover. One! Two! THREE!!! Kendrick pickedu up the huge win on Xavier and also got one over on his GEW rival once again. WINNER Kendrick Kross METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 12:23 FINISHING MOVE Chairshot |

Derrick La'Bell: A few years ago in Union Grand Prix, towards the end of my run there, I had an interview during the lead up to one of my final fights there where I mentioned that I had “built the foundation on which the new fighters walk on brick by brick“.

Derrick La'Bell: Almost immediately, the Heavyweight Champion at the time, who I was about to be facing, said “Well I don’t give a damn, because I’ve been renovating since I got here”...
He can’t help but smile, even more, thinking of how offended he was at the time.
Derrick La'Bell: And despite the audacity and the disrespect he meant with that comment, I… ugh… I couldn’t help but give him his props, because he was absolutely right.
He pauses for a moment and laughs again.
Derrick La'Bell: I was so focused on being proud of the work I had already put in, that I hadn’t acknowledged the hard work of the newer crop that was moving in. I didn’t realize that, despite the brocks I had laid, I was no longer standing in the division I had built and carried, and that it was time for me to step away and allow them to take the division to newer heights.
Derrick looks down because he’s never proud of moments where he stops being humble and honest with himself. However, he looks back up with a smile.
Derrick La'Bell: It stuck with me so much, that I decided that was the kind of energy I sought to bring to Liberty Pro when I chose to come here full-time over fighting.
Derrick takes a second to kind of get his thought together, given he had just finished a work out.
Derrick La'Bell: When I came to Liberty Pro, this company was a mess. Anarchy was more than just a title division, it was a mindset… a mantra. There were so many people that were only focused on winning by any means necessary and so many that were so used to getting stabbed in the back, that when I showed respect, wished them luck, accepted my losses as my own… people were surprised.
A look of bewilderment came across his face, as if he was still shocked to this day.
Derrick La'Bell: Liberty Pro had a culture of cheap wins and dirty champions, and I sought to change that.
Derrick smiles confidently.
Derrick La'Bell: And then people like BLC and TJ Techniques and so many others started doing the same thing. Searching to prove that we were COMPETITORS in a sea of CHEATERS… and we did. We all got where we wanted and more, and we proved that you could be in Liberty Pro, be as deep in the Callaghan Chaos Machine as possible, and still be able to fight your way to the top fair and square…
He takes a moment now to look back at his times as a champion in this company, and smile at the honor he had brought those titles.
Derrick La'Bell: But unlike in UGP, my work isn’t done here. There are still people like #TheSociety and Max Cerrano and Blyss Lockhart running around and trying to revert this place back to its old ways. They see the work we’ve been doing and they are trying to undo it and make it seem like the collective journey Liberty Pro has been on was all a fluke and nobody will ever win fair and square ever again…
La’bell balls up his fist in frustration.
Derrick La'Bell: These renovations ain't over. Just because I lost my title doesn’t mean I gotta stop making Liberation the house that I built. I can’t get complacent just because I’m not a champion anymore.
He grabs the handle of his sledgehammer, still talking as he starts to lift it.
Derrick La'Bell: I gotta take my hammer…
Derrick swings the hammer down, hitting the tire as he continues to speak.
Derrick La'Bell: … And Continue to break down the brick walls…

Again he swing the hammer
Derrick La'Bell: … put up around this company in order to…
He swings once more, hitting the tire louder with each impactful strike.
Derrick La'Bell: …stop us from making Liberty Pro into the…
A finally hammer swing hits the tire and Derrick sets the hammer over his shoulder.
Derrick La'Bell: … place we always knew it could be!
He wipes more sweat off his brow, hoping the not-s-subtle symbolism is going through to those watching right now.
Derrick La'Bell: The foundation has been set, but the work ain't over. I still want my title back, I still want this brand to be the best there is in professional wrestling. I still want my name and my legacy to be synonymous with this company and the amount of change that was put into it.
He smiles one last time.
Derrick La'Bell: And it don’t matter if it’s Karen Willow, Becky Balfour, Liberty Pro Champion Ant Sands, Melissa Reeves, Erik Malone, Xavier Laroux, Kendrick Kross, Emery Layton, BLC, or anyone else on this roster that thinks they deserve the same recognition that I am after. I’m going to continue to build this brand up and carry it until my back breaks and it buries me beneath!

Karen Willow vs Derrick La’Bell
Karen Willow vs Derrick La’Bell
RECAP This one could have easily been chosen as the match of the night. Derrick had something to prove as a dominant force and Karen? Well, she needed to show everyone that she was still on the rise here in Liberty Pro. Despite the size difference, Karen used her quickness and wits to stay ahead of Derrick for the better part of the match. While Derrick has the size? He doesn’t have the speed and stamina of someone like Karen Willow. But eventually? He got his hands on her and almost ended the match with Primal Slam (Reverse Rotation Powerslam)! He pinned but NO! Willow kicked out after two. Derrick picked her up and wasted no time! He went for his pop up power bomb but Karen countered it into Wolf Fang Fist: Superman Punch from out of NOWHERE! She pinned and it was ALMOST a three count but just before the three, the former Liberty Champion got his shoulder up off of the mat. Karen couldn’t believe it but it didn’t matter to her, she hit the ropes when he started to stir and she went for a second Wolf Fang Fist but this time she got caught up in Derrick’s pop up powerbomb and he nailed Prodigy In Motion. That was all she wrote as La’Bell got the hard fought three count and the win. Karen Willow had nothing to be ashamed of here, as she brought the former Liberty Champion to his limits. Backstage AMC and Ashley Sands are seen walking the halls apparently looking for their missing third member. They come to a door with a giant star on it with Antoinette Sands written on it.
AMC: Now that's a huge star.
Ashley Sands: Maybe that’s not a flag for Markus so he knows where to find her. I hope to god he’s not in there paying a conjugal visit or anything. Having to pour bleach on my eyes won’t help us tonight.
Ashley does a motion of her hand making a cross over her body before opening the door a crack to poke her head inside to see Ant dancing around the room but no music is playing.
Ashley Sands: Housekeeping. Fluff your pillow?
AMC spots The Liberty Championship sitting on top of Ant’s bag so AMC picks it up and places it over her shoulder but moments later Ant snatches the belt from her and gives AMC a dirty look. Ant holds the belt close and starts stroking it like its a pet
Antoinette Sands: Mine! She didn’t hurt you, did she My Precious?
AMC just shakes her head as Ashley Sands rolls her eyes once more.
Ashley Sands: You know that thing does look pretty heavy. If you ever need help carrying it up Mount Doom you know we got your back. Until we do something like have our own Preciouses then you’re on your own there. You just won it and we can’t have you getting tired out already, especially not since you got a big target on your back now. These Society cult creepos are probably already waiting to pounce thinking you’re still here on your own. I’m actually kind of insulted. We obviously haven’t been loud or obnoxious enough yet. Looks like our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to be the biggest pains in their asses until they can’t ignore hearing the most annoying sound in the world.

At first, we open on darkness.
Nothing but a black screen and some audio feedback static. This lasts for just a few seconds, before something begins to move on the screen. However the screen is still so dark that it just looks like different shades of black and gray moving across the screen. But there was definitely something moving, that’s for sure. Slowly, we fade into view, and the crowd immediately begins to boo as Warren Corbett is revealed. He’s wearing a spiked cut out vest now, accented with one of the Liberty Pro Tag Team Championships. He has also wrapped the chain used to choke Nathan around his right fist. There’s still spots of dark red on it.
Warren Corbett: Did you enjoy the show we put on for all of you? Did you like what we had to say about Nathan, and the way he’s been deceiving us?
Footsteps from behind him, though Warren doesn’t turn around. Seth Lawless walks up, shirtless, and holding the other half of the Liberty Pro Tag Team Championships on his shoulder. There’s also spots of blood on his open chest. Neither member of #TheSociety has bothered to wash Callaghan’s blood off.
Seth Lawless: Well we didn’t do it for you, the audience of Liberty Pro. We didn’t do it for anyone in the back that also has a problem with the Callaghans, and we didn’t do it to get some kind of higher ratings. We did it for us! We did it to show Liberty Pro what happens when you try to pull one over our eyes. We see everything!
Lawless takes two fingers, pointing to his eyes and then to the camera as the eyes of both men grow wider. As an audience member, you’re questioning how they’re even allowed on camera still after what happened at the beginning of the show.
Warren Corbett: For weeks we tried to play his game, for weeks we tried to put our trust in Nathan because he had a hand in bringing us back. We accomplished the deal we made, we went over to Freedom and we made Lily’s life a living hell. We even won these Liberty Tag Team Championships so we didn’t have to have anyone open the door for us. But just because we had that deal, Nathan thought he could control us.
The duo shake their head, as footsteps come from behind them yet again. This time, Becky Balfour walks into view, the two men ducking and allowing Becky to stand in front of them in their usual trio formation. She was still carrying Nathan’s barbed-wire bat.
Becky Balfour: At the end of the day, he had to know that he didn’t own us. Nobody owns #TheSociety. Not even me. It belongs to the outcasts, the broken and the cast aside. So when we found out that Nathan was going behind our backs in order to let Paz out of that room, we knew our deal with him was over! Look what you’ve done, Nate.
Becky pointed the bat closer to the camera lens, showing that it was still absolutely covered in Callaghan’s blood. Something else they hadn’t bothered washing and probably to provide a moment just like this. Truly horrifying.
Seth Lawless: All because you didn’t like when we hurt your little children, boohoo!
Warren Corbett: Desperate times call for desperate measures, you knew that when you injected the “poison” that is #TheSociety into the veins of Liberty Pro. You knew what you were bringing back onto the company, that’s why you needed us. Just because we obliged, doesn’t give you the right to double cross us. THIS is where that gets you.
Warren reached up to the bat, lightly placing his hand around it so he did not cut himself. However, when he pulled his hand away it appeared like he had painted his hand red, showcasing just how badly they’d taken it to Callaghan.
Seth Lawless: Let this be a lesson to anyone in Liberty Pro that is going to try stopping us. These games you’ve been trying to pull over on us, they end now!
Becky Balfour: I’m sure you’re all wondering how it is we’re still here. We just brutalized the man that signs our paychecks, how in the hell is #TheSociety still in the building and planning on competing in the main event? We’ve dealt with Nathan plenty of times, and were smart enough to know that if something like this did happen, we’d need a Plan B. A simple clause in our contract stating that if Nathan ever double-crossed us, he would hold no power over us. That means he can not fire us for our actions here tonight. I meant it when I said - NOBODY owns #TheSociety!
The boys on both ends slap their chests and hold their fists up for a moment.
Warren Corbett: And with the past lingering in our present, we look to the future. The main event tonight. #TheSociety gets into the ring with the Triple A girls. I’ve watched as you girls told the world how unafraid of us you are, how you’re going to look us right in the face and scream back, all that jazz. But what about now? How are you feeling now? Knowing what you know?
Seth Lawless: You may have bled in that cage, Ant, but you and your girls live in a world of sugarplums and gumdrops. You want everyone to be friends, hold hands and skip down the road together. THIS IS LIBERTY PRO. That isn’t going to happen here. Even the owner was a shady asshole, and you want everyone to get along. This isn’t a Disney movie girls, this is reality.
The trio paused speaking for a moment, with Becky smirking and swinging the bat from side to side before leaning the unwrapped part against her shoulder.
Becky Balfour: Is THIS what you want, girls? This is what you’re going to look in the eyes and scream in the face of? I doubt this is what you had in mind when you signed on, but this is what you’re getting. Maybe you thought we were nothing but puppets, and if so I hope you have a much more realistic view of us now. I hope you realize the deed you took on when you pinned La’Bell and put that Liberty Championship on your shoulder. We’ve been saying it since coming back, but that belt has #TheSociety written all over it. Derrick knew it, and he lost it trying to protect it from us. You didn’t win, Derrick lost. The real threat - US - still remains.
Warren Corbett: Anyone else’s plans for us? In the garbage.
Seth Lawless: Anyone else’s ideas on who or what we are? Lit on fire.
Becky Balfour: Your Everyday Smiley Joe, has never and will never understand The Message that we stand for. But we know that it falls onto the ears of those that need it most. That is evident in the vast amount of Followers that were here in this warehouse tonight and then were escorted from the building once making themselves known.
They shake their head, conveniently leaving out how the Followers in the front row had all played a part in giving #TheSociety more time to brutalize Nathan.
Warren Corbett: Now you’ve all got to pay for Nathan’s misgivings.
Seth Lawless: Starting with you AAA girls…
Becky Balfour: …and ending with the Liberty Championship back in our grasp!
Becky points the bat directly at the camera, throwing off the focus. The lens focuses on the bloody tip of the bat, showing the three blurry in the background. The trio chuckles amongst themselves as the scene fades back to black.

BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage to Nathan Callaghan’s… Well, now it’s Jade Night’s office. The door is shut and she is sitting behind the desk, watching as her fiance, Brendan Callaghan, is pacing in front of the door.
Brendan Callaghan: Really? You think he knew this was going to happen? Why would he just go and let himself get demolished like that? Why!? After we were finally figuring things out.
Jade sighed and shook her head before getting up from behind the desk. She walked over to Brendan’s and grabbed his hand with both of hers.
Jade Night: Hey… He had his reasons. Your dad? He’s never been one to say why he does what he does. A lot of the times, he’s an asshole. But this time? As shitty as it is to say? I think…
Jade looked away and shook her head before looking back at Brendan.
Jade Night: I think he let all of this happen because he felt like he deserved it. After what happened to Liam… Then you, Sean and Ryan? He took the blame for all of it finally. For once in his life, he owned up to everything.
The new general manager of Liberation squeezed Brendan’s hand.
Jade Night: I’m not saying it was right though, okay? But right now? We need to be tactical.
She then placed her hands on Brendan’s cheeks and peered into his eyes.
Jade Night: You trust me, right?
Brendan nodded.
Brendan Callaghan: I do. And I always will.
Jade Night: Good. Then while I temporarily do this job again? Just follow my lead, alright?
Brendan Callaghan: Okay… I will.
The usually jovial Brendan Callaghan couldn’t help but be somber in all of his responses, despite Jade’s reassurances. With that being said, the scene cut away.

MAIN EVENT: SIX-MAN TAG
#TheSociety vs AAA (AMC, Ashley Sands & Antoinette)
#TheSociety vs AAA (AMC, Ashley Sands & Antoinette)
RECAP This match has a ton of intertwining stories going on. #TheSociety wants the Liberty Championship again, which Antoinette has. On the other end? AMC and Ashley Sands want to be Liberty Tag Champions but #TheSociety holds those belts. Needless to say, both sides had statements that they wanted to make. Ashley Sands led the match in the beginning, as she took Seth Lawless down with a Pele Kick, Shining Wizard and finally, a rolling senton. She pinned but Balfour broke it up. Hell broke loose in the ring but Society took control thanks to this as Warren was able to use his power to help clear the ring. The middle of the match, we got to once again see Becky Balfour and Antoinette fight it out. The current Liberty Champion fought the former 3X Liberty Champion with something to prove. She didn’t hold back but eventually, Becky took control when she hit Ant with a headbutt! Becky tagged Warren in and he controlled the match for a bit. He tried going for his big finish, the Battle Ax, but Ant found the strength to slip out of it. She then tagged in AMC. AMC took control of the match when she dropkicked Warren in the knee. She then hit him with a hurricanrana driver. She tried several pinfalls but Warren wouldn’t stay down. Warren soon encountered an irish whip attack into a clothesline but the big man was tired. He tried to get to his corner and so did AMC. They both then tagged in someone. Warren got Seth and AMC brought in the Liberty Champion, Antoinette. Seth looked like he was motivated, maybe the attack he had on Nathan Callaghan earlier in the night had sparked something in him. Antoinette though, soon countered and hit a swinging neckbreaker, followed by a sunset flip powerbomb. She looked to go for one of her big moves, but Warren got into the ring and the referee stopped him! While this was going on, Becky came around the ring with Nathan’s barbed wire bat and she slammed it into the back of Ashley Sands before doing it to Ashley Marie Chase! She took them both out and the referee didn’t see. This distracted Antoinette and she looked to stop Becky but NO! Seth caught her and hit her with Detroit Is Burning (Pop-Up Powerbomb)! He pinned Antoinette and the referee began the count! One… Two… THREE!!! Seth Lawless did it! He beat the Liberty Champion! But at what cost? WINNER #TheSociety METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 17:34 FINISHING MOVE Detroit Is Burning POST MATCH In the middle of the ring, #TheSociety celebrated over Antoinette, holding Tag Team Championships in the air, along with the bloodied barbed wire bat of Nathan Callaghan, which still had stains of blood from the owner on it from earlier in the night. Before the night could finish, “Infinite” by Silverstein blared over the PA system and the fans cheered, it was the familiar music of the once again GM of Liberation, Jade Night. She walked out and had a staredown with #TheSociety for a moment before she nodded and mouthed the words, ‘We’ll talk soon.’ With that, the show went off of the air. |
