Aaron Young here, your favorite media analyst and the guy behind Liberty's Twitter account! Nathan Callaghan has put me in charge of explaining the return of Liberty Pro and what his plans are for the future. So, Near the end of September of last year, Liberty Pro ran it's final show before a hiatus. Some people thought this hiatus would be forever and hey, even I had my doubts. Big Daddy Nathan Callaghan invested too much money into created GWA, which was soon bought out under his feet by Chuck Matthews. Most companies in the GWA died thanks to Mr. Matthews little maneuver, but Nathan refused to sell the rights to Liberty Pro. So, what has he been doing since September? He's found the right funding and backing to bring back Liberty Pro, so that it can stand on it's own two feet.
No more CWC, no more GWA... Liberty Pro Wrestling will stand on it's own from here on out, and we will be focusing on ONE brand, which is the returning Liberation. Obviously, we had a huge roster when we went on hiatus, and Nathan will give some of the roster a chance to reclaim their spot. But one thing he will not let them reclaim is the championships that they held. Everything is now being officially reset. There are no champions in Liberty Pro, as Nathan thought that it would be unfair to keep some champions, when he would be retiring certain titles.
Which ones will be gone? Nathan hasn't made that clear yet, as he wants to re-establish the company before we focus on championships and what not. It's all about the competition!
So needless to say? We're back, for what we are calling a SECOND SEASON! Great ready for a wild ride.
