PRESHOW
BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts to backstage where Brendan Callaghan is stuffing his face with a taco. Strangely, hes dressed casual in an open sports jacket from last week over an Excuse me, but its taco time! shirt and jeans. He doesnt look at all prepared for a wrestling match and seems quite content with his food right now as he sits leaning back in his chair in the catering area of the Cross Insurance Arena. When he notices the camera, he immediately starts waving it away.
Brendan Callaghan: Whoa hold on there, buddy! No camera time for Brendan!
Cameraman: Uhh they told me to shoot what you have to say about your opponent, Joey Barber.
Brendan Callaghan: Nah man. Here. Totally legit.
Grinning, Brendan whips out a crisply folded letter from his jacket pocket, which is basically a printout of a Twitter screenshot.

Brendan Callaghan: Im officially excused from competing tonight. Joey will understand. And Ive already mailed a copy to the management office a few days ago so Aaron knows. I mean, he should by now.
Cameraman: You mean this copy?
The camera guy hands over an opened envelope, which Brendan receives to see the letter he had sent now has a stamp that says REJECTED in big red letters. Brendan stares at it in horror.
Brendan Callaghan: What the fuck? But its signed and everything!
Cameraman: They told me youd say that. They also said a tweet isnt a legitimate document and they know that this Doc Li isnt a real doctor.
Brendan Callaghan: But
Cameraman: Also, your name is misspelled.
Brendan squints his eyes as he looks closer before sighing, only just realising it.
Brendan Callaghan: What? Goddammit! I mean, ah shit
Cameraman: Sorry, Brendan. Anyhoo, that means you gotta wrestle tonight so you dont mind saying a quick word about Joey now, right? Hes a Bostonian like you so it should be good huh?
Feeling a little annoyed, Brendan sighs.
Brendan Callaghan: Yeah Ive heard of him and his trainer, Ace Static...
Cameraman: Cool! So you ever faced either of them in the ring or something?
Brendan Callaghan: Nah, never been in the same company with them. Just heard stories here and there. Some pretty wiiiiiiiild shit!
Cameraman: Right, right. But before we start, can you stand up and take a couple steps back for me? Nice, great. Okay, put the taco down for a sec. We cant have that in the shot. Now, ready when you are.
As he props up the camera on his shoulder, the show feed quickly switches to a medium closeup shot of Brendans smile fading to a deadpan look in response to what the cameraman just said.
Brendan Callaghan: I uh, I didnt bring my gear.
Like a schoolboy who got caught doing something stupid by the principal, Brendan looks off-screen at the unhelpful cameraman whos now gone silent.
Brendan Callaghan: Guess Ill just wrestle in jeans then.
More awkward silence. His eyes flick from offscreen to the camera a couple of times before he backs away slowly to escape.
PRESHOW MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH
Izzi Grimes vs. Isla Carter
The match between Izzi Grimes and Isla Carter was an even match and Isla was looking to rebound off a few tough losses. Isla Carter hit Izzi with everything in her arsenal but in typical Grimes fashion, taking after her cousin, Izzi was hard to keep down. Izzi eventually hit Isla with When the Beat Drops (Jumping Reverse STO) and Isla was knocked out. Izzi pinned Carter and picked up the three count, picking up a victory in her debut match.
WINNER: Izzi Grimes by pinfall @ 6:34
Izzi celebrated her victory, having her hand raised by the referee. When Isla got to her feet, Izzi shook hands with her fellow competitor, showing a sign of respect.
BACKSTAGE
*The scene opens backstage where Romeo Black is seen taping his wrists in preparation for his upcoming match. Having finished one, Romeo motions for the camera to come closer as he begins taping once more.*
Romeo: You know, I don't think I've won a single match during my time here in Liberty Pro. Tag matches, singles matches, you name it. Still chasing that first win, man. I had hoped that I would've gotten that first win with Rich Lightning, but we all know how that turned out.
*Romeo grimaces as he remembers the steel chair assault last week.*
Romeo: Point is, I could understand why #TheSociety think Corbett's gonna keep the Anarchy Title. Ain't got the win yet, and Corbett's been on a tear. I know a lot of people think this is just gonna be another title defense, another night for #TheSociety to reign supreme.
*By now, Romeo's finished taping his wrist. Setting the tape down, Romeo turns to fully address the camera.*
Romeo: I say differently. I say that tonight, I break my losing streak and capture the Anarchy Title in one go.
See, I know I'm the underdog in this match. I know that Falls Count Anywhere suits Corbett and #TheSociety. I ain't got someone to watch my back out there in case a few Followers come out, but that's okay. I can stand on my own two feet, look them in the eye, and tell them to hit me with their best shot. I'm gonna keep fighting, I'm gonna keep swinging, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that any followers that wanna get a close look get dealt with.
And as for Corbett? I saw Scarlett come seconds away from beating you, so I know that you can be beaten. And if your boys stay in the back and it's one on one? I know I can get you. Maybe not right away, maybe not for a majority of this match. But all I need is one shot, just one moment where you take your eyes of me. That's when I catch you and put you down for the three big man, and it can come at any moment.
This is my time, my opportunity, and I'm not letting it slip through my fingers. I'm not throwing away my shot Corbett, not tonight.
Tonight, the Neon Tiger shocks the world.
*Romeo raises a fist, revealing the word "War" on his wrist tape. With a look of determination, Romeo makes the finger gun before walking off.*
BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson walks out of the locker room and nods at the camera. She looks back into the locker room and mouths "we've got this." It seemed like she was talking to her other Snapback Queen in Avery Smith. She smiled back at the camera and then started to speak.
Emily Jackson: Well, last week we had a shot at the tag team titles and we failed. But the team we were up against is good and we knew that going in. But honestly that isn't going to stop us. One loss doesn't define Avery and I. All it means is that we have to work harder if we want to climb to the top of Liberty. It was more of a learning lesson for us and it is one that we will take in stride.
She walks past catering and grabs a few crackers and starts to eat them.
Emily Jackson: Tonight we have Seth Lawless and Scarlett Highland. Now, Scarlett is someone that I admire in a way. She has her own reality show and she doesn't pull any punches when she talks to people. Then you have Seth Lawless, someone that is in the Society. Someone that thinks his name should be a lot bigger than it is. I find it funny, that he and Scarlett don't get along and that they actually think they have a shot against Avery and I. You see Avery and I are actually friends while those two want to rip each other's heads off.
She smiles once more and then bites her bottom lip.
Emily Jackson: Avery and I want this and we will stop at nothing to keep our names on the list of contenders for the tag titles. The Snapback Queens might have lost one match but that doesn't end us. That just makes us want to work harder. And we will.
PRESHOW MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
Joey Barber vs. Brendan Callaghan
Brendan did whatever he could to avoid Joey Barber in this match up. He ran out of the ring, making Joey chase after him before sliding in the ring and taking Joey out when Joey tried to follow. Joey would eventually get ahold of Brendan and knock him out with his finisher but the move also knocked the referee down. Joey had the eldest Callaghan son down for the count but the referee couldnt make the count. Joey tried to revive the referee and as he did, Brendan got back to his feet. When Joey turned around, Brendan had pulled out a packet of taco sauce that he opened and he squeezed it into Joeys eyes. Joey was blinded and Brendan took him out with the Awesome As Fuck Kapow (springboard forearm smash). Brendan pinned Joey as the referee came to his senses and picked up the victory.
WINNER: Brendan Callaghan by pinfall @ 10:35
Brendan rolled out of the ring after the win and raised his hands in the air before grabbing at his back, feigning as if he's hurt. Brendan slowly walks to the back while clutching his back, leaving it up to the audience if he's truly hurt or not.
BACKSTAGE
The familiar words of 'A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland' filled the screen in pink bubbly letters as a majority of the male fans began cheering immediately.
Screeching Voice: Wait...stop! NOW!
The words disappeared from the screen and instead was Scarlett Highland herself, standing in her locker room. Behind her was a giant portrait of herself.
Scarlett Highland: Unfortunately tonight, in protest of the fact that I have to team with that Mr.Clean knockoff, Seth Lawless there will be NO new episode of my hit reality show. Instead, you will see me go to the ring and 'team' with a man that I hate.
Scarlett held her fingers up to make air quotations as she said team.
Scarlett Highland: All I have to say is, Seth, Sethy...Mr.Clean, stay OUT of my way and don't do what you do best...screw things up. Alone, I can beat Avery Smith and Emily Jackson. Alone, I can steal the show and actually make people give a crap about our team because, DUH, I'm on it. And ALONE...I can steal the show as I always do.
Scarlett flips her hair and makes an annoyed expression.
Scarlett Highland: Basically stand on the ring apron, look ugly, and ONLY move if I tell you too. One mistake from you can ruin everything and I refuse to be a victim of your own inability to win a match. Oh and for Aaron Young, I will make sure when Mr.Callaghan returns that he personally knows how I feel about you making such an unfair match. I mean, just a week after a BRUTAL cage match, I should have the night off, but instead, I have to team with Seth Lawless of all things, I mean people? Ummm...no. Your job will be had, bet that. Anyways, like, I have to get ready, so tune in NEXT week for a brand new episode of A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland.
The young wrestler blew a kiss to the camera as it faded away.
BACKSTAGE
Seth Lawless: Paul, what the hell happened?
Paul Bolden the assistant of Seth Lawless shrugs his shoulders as he looks at his boss.
Seth Lawless: Of course you wouldn't know. I guess I was stupid to think that you would have an answer of sorts.
Seth walks to catering and grabs a ham and cheese sandwich and takes a bite out of it. Unsatisfied with the food he throws it away. Paul looks at him and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: Why do I have to be in a match with her? She is stupid, she is annoying, and she is someone that I don't want to share the ring with.
Paul kept looking at him and shrugged his shoulders again.
Seth Lawless: Do they not know who I am? I am Seth Lawless, I just beat Becky fair and square like I said I would. Everyone thought that I would let her beat me. No one thought that I would stand toe to toe with her and I did. But now I'm placed in this match with the reality show flake against the Snapback Queens or whatever. Two women who suck. Seriously I have beaten Avery before but now she has found a new friend and she is just as bad as she is.
Seth scoffs a bit and closes his eyes.
Seth Lawless: But I will be a good little Seth and I will wrestle alongside Scarlett but after the match it will be different. Maybe after I win the match for us I will take her out and send a message. Or maybe I will just let he think I will hit her and not doing anything. Either way Paul, I will keep the star of Seth Lawless burning bright, because this company needs me.
MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Avery Smith & Emily Jackson vs. Scarlett Highland & Seth Lawless
Theres already action before the bell as Scarlett Highland and Seth Lawless are bickering with one another over whos going to start the match. Highland pushes Lawless and he returns the favor, but his knocks Scarlett down and thats enough for him to turn back and focus on Emily Jackson across from him. Seth calls for Emily to bring it on and shes hesitant to do so, causing Lawless to explode out of his corner and take her down with a snap suplex. From that point on, he spends his time beating Jackson down on the mat and toys around with her, letting his arrogance shine.
A short arm clothesline nearly seals the deal early for Lawless, but Jackson managed to kick out early into the count. Seth, a bit annoyed, dragged her back up by her hair, and started trash talking her. Not taking it well, Emily responds with a hard slap across Seths face! Its a strong enough strike to turn him around for a Russian leg sweep! Jackson tries for a pin, but Lawless kicks out at two and she scrambles over, tagging in a fresh Avery Smith.
Smith comes in hot with a clothesline to a recovering Lawless and a dropkick to knock Highland off the ring apron. A snap DDT plants Seth onto the canvas and Avery attempts a pin, but Lawless kicks out at one. The hot start Smith started out with is squashed as she goes to lift Lawless up and eats a European uppercut for it. A Check Yo Teeth dropkick puts Avery on the mat and Seth goes to pin when he hears a mocking Scarlett on the apron. He turns to her, asking if she could do better, which gets a sarcastic response, and he tags her in, giving her the floor.
As soon as she gets in, Scarlett runs at Avery and hits a hurricanrana into a pin! Its a close call, but Smith breaks out of the attempt before three. After the move, Highland turns back to Lawless, telling him Thats how you do it! Scarlett lifts Avery up and hits her with a nasty elbow that knocks Smith back into the ropes and she rebounds with her One Hit Wonder (Pendulum Lariat)! Avery drops down for the pin, but Seth is there to break it up early.
Seths pin break knocked Avery loopy and gave Scarlett enough time to recover; allowing for Lawless to mock her on the apron. Now its her turn to tag out and she does so; Seth walking toward Avery, but he quickly turns around and pulls Scarlett back into the ring! He whips her into the ropes for Detroit Is Burning (Pop-up Powerbomb)! Lawless rolls Highland onto the apron to tag back out and he leaves behind a confused Avery Smith and Emily Jackson. Smith looks at the downed Highland before pulling her back into the ring and covers her for the easy three.
WINNERS: Emily Jackson & Avery Smith by pinfall @ 13:48
Emily and Avery celebrate before they exit the ring, leaving Scarlett alone as shes still out. Seth Lawless soon comes back down to the ring and slides back in. He stands over Scarlett and decides to pick her up off of the canvas. He whips her towards the ropes, looking to go for a second Detroit Is Burning but as Scarlett rebounded, she leaped into the air and drove her knee into Seths face, hitting him with a flying knee strike. Scarlett backed into the corner, looking to take Seth out with her finisher but Seth saw it coming and he rolled out of the ring, holding onto his face. Scarlett yelled at him and he yelled back.
PREVIOUSLY RECORDED
The scene opens up in a training facility. Its not too crowded, a surrealistic silence only broken by the buzz of a treadmill. Running on it, the neon lights glaring on her sweated tatted skin is Helena Noir. Grabbing a towel and using it to wipe off, before placing a chair backwards in front of the camera and sitting on it, her arms leaning on the backrest.
HELENA NOIR: Well, here I am hitting the gym at
She glances over on her right, where a clock is hanging from the wall.
1:30 a.m. And yes, I am here just to prove Jakob Alexander that I actually spend time training, with no need for him to tell me to. Simple fact, I like to come here at night, when no one is around. The owner is a good friend, and he has no problem with me staying here past the closing time. I hope this clears your mind from any possible doubt, I will be more than ready coming saturday night. Now the question is, will you?
Her hands run through her messy hair, in a vain attempt to fix it.
HELENA NOIR: Im honestly asking because last time we met you looked a bit out of shape. And thats a compliment actually. Do you want me to state some facts about that night? Lets do it.
Using her fingers to count, she starts making her list.
HELENA NOIR: You lost. FACT. Sure I didnt make you tap out, so I guess that also counts as a FACT. But you never ever went anywhere close to win it. FACT. We can safely say I dominated that match from bell to bell, always in control. FACT. Thats why it took me exactly 7 minutes and 23 seconds to get the job done. FACT. Everything else you say, its just bullshit my friend.
She stares for a moment at her hand, all five fingers raised.
HELENA NOIR: I gave you five good reasons why I believe this match is a waste of my time. Sure, You most likely have spent the last week busting your ass in the gym, watching the match over and over again trying to find where you did wrong. You probably looked at some old tapes of my matches even, or at least Im hoping so for the sake of the fans who will be watching the show. Still, theres one thing that really concerns me
Helena moves her hand to her head, tapping the temple with her index finger.
HELENA NOIR: You seem so obsessed about putting me in my place, Jackie, that Im actually concerned about you. What would be left of you once you fail? Whats going to happen when all this bravado you displayed on social media will result in another embarrassing loss to the woman you so desperately wanted to prove yourself against? Im going to put this in easy words so you can actually comprehend. You dont stand a chance.
You never did.
You never will.
And Ill make sure you understand it tomorrow night.
Once and for all.
Those last words are followed up by a malicious smile.
HELENA NOIR: You heard me right. Tomorrow night Ill make you regret asking for this match, Ill make you reconsider your choice and hopefully you will have a better judgement and a bigger consideration of your health from now on.
Standing on my way once is an unlucky twist of fate.
Standing twice, and asking for it, thats masochistic.
Nonetheless, it all ends in Portland. Even in the remote circumstance you somehow manage to beat me, Ill let you brag about it, cast the moment in amber and be proud of yourself. I wont ask for a rematch, I have no interest in fighting you over and over with nothing at stakes. You are already slowing me down.
Standing up from the chair, she picks up the camera from the tripod.
HELENA NOIR: Dont sweat it though, the most likely scenario predicts you tapping out in the middle of the ring and go back to that joke your career turned into.
The camera is turned off, as we cut to the next segment.
THE BAUMER REPORT
As the camera transitioned to the backstage area, the official Liberty Pro interview faced the camera with a devilish smirk as she held the microphone with her left hand. Her right hand was in a small blue cast and as the kiwi looked to her left, she spotted the man she was about to interview tonight.
Cass Baumer: So my name is Cass Baumer but you already knew that! Im here with Liberty Pro standout Vitor Mata tonight and instead of going through all the introductions, lets get straight to the questions, alright?
With that Vitor walks into the shot with a simple black t-shirt on looking very ready for his opponent later tonight
Vitor Mata: First question please.
Cass smirked before speaking into the microphone again.
Cass Baumer: So everyone knows youve got a beef with #TheSociety but Ive gotta ask How can you say Becky is a paper champion when she won it fair and square?
Vitor Mata: I accept that she won the battle royal to become the first champion, but its not so much the way she won it, its more of what she has done while holding it. The cheating, the use of her henchmen. Thats why I consider her a paper champion.
Cass listened carefully to his answer.
Cass Baumer: While Im not exactly the biggest fan of Becky or the rest of #TheSociety, Ive made that clear, I think it could be argued that no matter what you might disagree with Shes still a damn good champion. And besides, her and the rest of #TheSociety keep saying that they represent the ones left behind, the forgotten people with everything to prove. Isnt that a category where you fit in? Doesnt she technically represent you at the same time?
Vitor rubs his chin, and his posture changes from one of confidence to one of shock and confrontation toward Cass.
Vitor Mata: No. Not at all. I did come up from a troubled youth, but Im not a bum on a street in Detroit. So no she doesnt represent me or anyone from Portugal for that matter.
The Headliner herself nodded her head.
Cass Baumer: Fair enough.
Thinking for a moment, she prepared her next question.
Cass Baumer: So after the triple threat match against Warren and Carina went awry when the rest of #TheSociety stormed the ring and stopped you from capturing your first championship here in Liberty Pro, do you feel like you should be given another opportunity at Warrens Anarchy Championship or do you still have your eyes firmly on Becky at the top? Or do you just not care about championships at all?
Vitor nods in understanding and his posture reverts to that of confidence and answers in an assertive tone that reflects his confidence.
Vitor Mata: I believe that I deserve another shot at the Anarchy Championship, however I have always have my eyes on the Liberty Championship. So for me, the Anarchy Championship would be a bonus along the way to winning the Liberty Championship, and to answer that last part. I do care about championships, I win them for my fellow countrymen and women to cherish.
Cass Baumer: Correct me if Im wrong here, but It sounds to me like you care more about taking the championships away from #TheSociety than winning the championships on their own at this point. Like, hell You could fight the guest referee in your match tonight in Ashleigh Powell one day and try to win the Gotham Championship if you felt like going in that direction but youd rather take away the gold from #TheSociety instead. Some would call that an obsession.
Vitor Mata: If Ashleigh Powell was willing to put her title on the line, then I would beat her and take her title, But thats if. As for this little obsession you just mentioned, I can tell you I dont have an obsession. I will go after any championship no matter who holds it.
Baumer nods again, understanding his reasoning.
Cass Baumer: I suppose that leads us to tonight. With Ashleigh Powell as the guest referee in your upcoming match against Jacob Daniels, I dont know if its the best idea to brag about the fact that you could beat her just before going out there. Do you have a better message you want to give to her right now instead?
Vitor Mata: Call it down the middle. I dont want any excuse from Jacob Daniels once I beat him.
Cass Baumer: And do you have any issues with Jacob heading into this match? Nows your time to tell em.
Vitor Mata: I have no problems with him whatsoever. Hes a competitor, Im a competitor. Only one of us can win and I know that competitor will be me. And after I beat him I believe that will garner me a number one contender match for one of the three championships here in Liberty Pro.
Cass Baumer: I can respect the confidence. I guess all thats left to say is
Cass cleared her throat and slowly said the words, trying her best to pronounce it to the best of her ability.
Cass Baumer: Vitória por você, vitória por Portugal?
Vitor smiles and chuckles at Cass marginal attempt at his native tongue. He cracks his neck both ways
Vitor Mata: Sim
Vitor turns to the camera and says with the utmost confidence in his voice, eyes looking dead right into the camera.
Vitor Mata: Vitória para mim, Vitória por Portugal!
MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH
Jakob Alexander vs Helena Noir
The bell rings and the two wrestlers lock up in the center of the ring. Jakob Alexander has the strength advantage over Helena Noir as hes able to just shove her down, but she quickly rolls back up to her feet. Its a feeling out process between the two as Alexander tries his best to grapple with Noir, but she manages to slip out of every hold. Fed up, Jakob uses his strength again to shove Helena back into a corner and quickly follows through, throwing some elbows in the corner.
Alexanders onslaught of elbows in the corner allows him to take control of the match. He pulls Noir out of the corner with a big vertical suplex and tries for a pin, but she kicks out right at one. Jakob puts on another display of his power as he deadlifts Helena up and drops her with second suplex. Lifting her right back up, Jakob hooks her and it looks like hes trying early for his AfterShock, but Helenas quick thinking gets her out of it as she throws an elbow to the side of his head repeatedly until shes freed. Once she does, Noir turns the tables and grabs Alexanders head, running toward the ring corner to Stay Gold (Sliced Bread #2)!
Helena rolls Jakob over and hooks his legs, but at two and a half, Alexander throws a shoulder up. Trying to keep him on the mat, Noir waits for Alexander to start to slowly rise up before she grabs his arm and rolls him into a triangle choke! Its applied fairly tightly, but not enough to prevent Jakob from standing back up to his feet with Helena in tow! He lifts her up high and walks over to the ring corner before dropping her head first against the turnbuckle! Noir is forced to let go of the hold and drops down, dazed enough for an exploder suplex right into the center of the ring from Alexander! He puts his arm across for a pin, but Helena kicks out before three.
He goes to pick her up, but gets a forearm to the midsection. A European uppercut knocks Alexander back and Noir hits a dropkick right to his knees. It takes him down as she hits the ropes and Helena tries for a shining wizard, but Jakob is able to roll out of the way, dropping her with a big superkick once shes back up. Alexander tries to capitalize on it, but Noir rolls out of the ring just in time. He chases right after her and she manages to roll back in the right before he gets outside.
Alexander rolls back into the ring and hes immediately caught with Helenas Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT/Guillotine Choke) out of nowhere! Its locked on tight, but Jakob is close enough to the ropes to use his feet as leverage, putting them on the second rope, and rolling Helena onto her shoulders, forcing a count! ONE! TWO! THREE! NO! The referee sees the feet on the ropes and waves the count out. Noir lets go of the hold and now its Alexanders turn to roll out of the ring. Helena goes right after him, but to her surprise, Jakob is there with a steel chair and he blasts her with it!
The referee calls for an immediate DQ as Jakobs frustration with Helena finally caught up to him and he slams down the steel chair across her back.
WINNER: Helena Noir by DQ @ 17:58
Jakob Alexander slams the chair into Helenas back one more time for good measure before the medical staff pushes Alexander away. Jakob has a cocky smirk on his face as he spits towards Helenas direction.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cut backstage and the view of the camera was of Vitor Mata, lying on the concrete backstage floor with blood pouring from his head. There were four pairs of feet standing there and the camera raised up and gave the view of all four members of #TheSociety. Warren Corbett, who had his Anarchy Championship on his shoulder and a chair in hand, set the chair down onto Vitors back and laughed.
Warren Corbett: Let this be a lesson to those who question Larclan, Seth Lawless, Becky Balfour and myself Those who question #TheSociety will regret it.
Warren raised his championship over his head with a smirk on his face before the scene cut away.
BACKSTAGE
Izzi is walking backstage after her debut, a huge smile on her face and a bounce in her step as she makes her way towards her locker room, as she swings the door open her smile grows even wider.
Izzi Grimes: COREY!
She throws herself at her big brother with a tackle hug that sends him back a couple of steps, she immediately winces and pulls back.
Izzi Grimes: Sorry, Sorry, I know youre still sore, Im just so excited youre here! GAH!
She does a little dance on her tiptoes that shows her excitement before hugging him again and jumping up and down a little, Corey laughs and holds her out at arms length.
Corey Grimes: Come on Iz, I would never miss your big night!
Izzi Grimes: Did you see me out there?! I was all pow.. powpow!
She accentuates her words with some jabs into midair as though shes playing Kinect, this only makes Corey laugh again as he nods.
Corey Grimes: Of course I saw, you were great out there! Im really proud of you.
He hugs his baby sister with a genuine smile on his face, Izzi enjoys the hug for a moment or two before she pulls back and looks up at him.
Izzi Grimes: It really means alot to me that you came tonight. I know sometimes we fight and stuff but youre my big bro! I always want you to be proud of me.
She hugs him again and hops from foot to foot.
Izzi Grimes: Now lets go get some celebratory popcorn on me!
MATCH FIVE: FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
Warren Corbett vs Romeo Black
The falls count anywhere match for the Anarchy championship started with Warren Corbett attempting to use his strength early on in the contest, looking for an aggressive clothesline but Romeo Black hit a split to avoid it. He then pushed both feet against the back of Warren, hmpushing him forward and into the ropes. As the champions chest hit the ropes, he stumbled back into a rollup pin that was broken by Romeo who then popped to his feet and hit a dropkick on Corbett who had made it to a knee. Corbett pushed through and stood up, but was taken down by a flipping neckbreaker from the challenger.
Romeo could feel his momentum and confidence building as he hit a jumping, flipping leg drop. The fans were electric for the high impact, fast paced style of Black, who hit a second leg drop. He finally went for a pinfall but Warren used his size to toss Romeo off of him after a one count. Romeo couldnt believe the strength of the champion, but was determined to stay on the attack. He ran towards Warren who tossed him high into the air, but Romeo hit a dropkick as he fell from the air, stumbling Warren. Black charged the champion again, and this time Warren tossed him high into the air, hitting a uppercut as Romeo came back down. Romeo looked to be out, but instead of pinning him, Warren slid out of the ring and pulled Romeo under the bottom rope.
Warren grabbed Black up and put him in a bearhug and then charged towards the ring post on the outside of the ring, driving the back of Black into the post with a sickening thud before dropping him without a care to the floor. Warren walked over to the fans and spotted a fan wearing a t-shirt sporting #TheSociety across the chest. The Anarchy Champion nodded at the fan before turning his attention back to Romeo, who was slowly standing, holding his lower back. Warren grunted and screamed as he charged towards Romeo, but Romeo ducked, sending Corbett crashing into the ring post. The big man refused to go down however, stumbling back. Black ran forward and hit a spin kick that sent Corbett over the barricade and into the fans laps.
The referee slid out of the ring, walking over towards the barricade, leaning over it to check on the champion. Romeo Black slid into the ring and scaled to the top turnbuckle. The fans all rose to their feet as Romeo stood up, catching his balance. He took a deep breath, crossed his chest and then leapt from the top turnbuckle inside of the ring, over the barricade on the outside, taking out the Anarchy champion with a body press that left the fans going nuts, realizing that they had just probably seen the move of the night. The referee hopped over the barricade to check on both competitors.
Warren, surprisingly, made it to his feet first and rolled over the barricade, landing on the floor on the outside of the ring. Romeo climbed up next and stood on the barricade. He eyed up his target but before he could jump off, Dick Lightning ran through the crowd and pushed Romeo from the barricade, sending the challenger crashing to the floor. Warren Corbett took this as his chance to finish things off as he picked Black up, dropping him on the floor with the Dane Axe, high impact spinebuster. He then went for a pin on the floor and picked up a three count, retaining his championship.
Winner and Still Anarchy Champion: Warren Corbett by pinfall @ 20:21
The referee handed Warren his championship as Dick Lightning jumped over the barricade and began stomping away at Romeo Black as the fans booed him heavily. Warren stared at the attack for a moment before waving it off, and heading towards the backstage area with his title. Lightning picked up Romeo and hooked his head. He shouted out something loudly and then dropped Romeo Black with a ddt on the floor before more referees spilled out from the backstage area, separating Lightning from Black. Lightning smirked as he was pushed back up the entrance ramp as doctors now came out to check on Black.
BACKSTAGE
When the scene opened up backstage Tim Anderson was seen standing with SAP's Undisputed North Atlantic Champion Felix Vialpando who was dressed and ready for his upcoming match with the current number one contender for the LPW Liberty Championship. Tim started the interview by asking Felix on how it felt to defeat the company's current LPW Gotham Champion Ashleigh Powell with the help of her challenger Jacob Daniels. Felix waves of the latter part of the question and claims he beat Ashleigh fair and square. Just because she lost focus that led to hear defeat doesn't mean anything. He beat the Gotham Champion. Him. No one else. Felix smirked as he hinted at him possibly being the True LPW Gotham Champion.
The crowd watching in the arena of course booed at this. Tim continues the interview by talking about Felix's upcoming match up with the LPW Liberty Pro Championship number one contender Melissa Reeves. Felix laughs at this and says, "Oh you mean the bitch who is scared to actually talk to you but will won't hesitate to randomly side talk you or say something then run away from a confrontation? Or the one that wouldn't even have a chance at becoming the Liberty Champion if it wasn't for him?". Tim clears his throat and says the last one trying not to get involved in whatever the first comment was about. Felix waved it off and said they he wasn't worried about tonight's match up with Reeves. He didn't really think much of her which was more than likely what she thought of him as well.
As far as Felix was concerned he beat a champion of this company and basically handed a contender spot for the top championship belt to some random after the company from the likes of Reed. It could have been anyone that won that match, Reeves was just lucky enough to be the one to reap the benefits of his actions. Good notes cause things like that.
As he says this Zeke Reed storms into the shot getting in Felix's face. Felix held up his arms playing innocent. Reed demanded to know just who the hell Felix thought he was to interfere in his match and steal his victory right from under him. Reed said he was this close to being the one to defeat Becky Balfour and become the Liberty Champion. Felix just laughs at this and claims that it wasn't in the notes for Reed to win that match...Just like it wasn't in the notes for him to defeat him in his first match here!
Zeke laughs at this and asks if that what all this was about? A match that happened a MONTH ago. Felix didn't seem to be as amused as Zeke saying it wasn't funny. Zeke couldn't believe that Felix was seriously holding this grudge from a match they had a month ago. He ruined his chances of becoming the Liberty Champion all because he beat him a month ago. Felix told him to shut up and that he didn't deserve to be anywhere near the Liberty Championship, he did instead. He beat the Gotham Champion and gift wrapped a title opportunity to Reeves, it was him that had right to be declaring himself for a shot at the title not either of them.
Reed shakes his head and tells Felix to stay the hell away from him and out of his way. He was going to talk to Nathan about getting another shot at Melissa in hopes to right the wrong that Felix scribbled up in his notebook. Felix looked pretty angry about that and wanted to say something but Reed already walked away before he could retort.
Tim tried to ask Felix another question only to be told to shut the hell up and a notebook thrown in his face before the SAP North American Champion stormed off.
MATCH SIX: SINGLES MATCH
Zeke Reed vs Isabella Strickland
Two of the three participants in the number one contender match at the last show stared across the ring at each other. Isabella didnt seem intimidated by the man who has called himself the One Man Army in the past. As the two met in the middle of the ring, Isabella stood just a few inches taller than her opponent, but Zeke was the first to strike, perhaps playing mind games with a slap to the face of Strickland. Isabella responded by slapping Zeke back, she then tackled him and began pummeling him in the face. Isabella then stood up and shouted towards the fans who cheered for her.
Zeke stood up behind her and grabbed her, hitting a backbreaker that left Strickland screaming out in pain. Zeke tossed her to the mat and then followed it up with a perfectly placed elbow drop to the chest of Strickland. Reed then wiped his feet, kicking imaginary dirt towards his opponent. Still having his swagger after his shaky past two shows, he waited for Strickland to get up and as she did, he hit the Silence is Golden twist of fate on Strickland, but the resilient competitor kicked out at a two count.
Zeke remained in control, hitting a suplex on Isabella, following that up with a swinging neckbreaker. Despite the persistence, Reed still couldnt pick up the win after a pair of pinfall attempts that reached a two count. Zeke shouted Cmon man to the official and turned his attention back to Isabella. Reed measured up Strickland, and as she stood halfway to her feet, he went for a running boot, but Isy rolled out of the way, confusing Reed who looked around to see which direction she had went. It was then that she snuck up behind him and hit a german suplex with a bridging pin, picking up a two count.
The back and forth affair continued with Isabella hitting a snapmare and then delivering a brutal kick to the back of Reed. She then went for another kick, this time to the chest of her seated opponent, but Reed caught her foot and pushed her away. He then stood and ran at her, but she ducked a clothesline as Reed crashed into the corner. Reed rested his back against the corner as Isabella shocked everyone as she ran towards him and connected with the Stricken bicycle knee! Reed crumbled to the mat and Isabella went for the pin and she got the three, but wait, Zeke had a foot on the rope, the referee declares it a rope break, saving Zeke from defeat.
Isabella sat up on both knees, running her hands through her hair, disappointed that she couldnt finish Zeke off because of the positioning of themselves in the ring. She stood up, clearly thinking about it when she reached down to lift Zeke up. Zeke hit her with an uppercut that sent her backwards. Zeke rose to his feet quickly and hooked her for a vertical suplex, lifting her up and connecting with Shot The Devil Dead (Vertical Suplex Stunner). Isabellas head snapped back as Zeke collapsed on top of her and hooked her leg, picking up a three count and the victory.
Winner: Zeke Reed by pinfall @ 14:08
Zekes hand is raised in victory as he picked up the big win over Isabella Strickland. Strickland soon gets to her feet and Zeke looked over at her before giving her a nod of respect, which Strickland returned before she exited the ring.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts backstage to Aaron Young, who has been in charge of Liberty while Nathan Callaghan has been out recovering. A nervous Aaron clears his throat before he begins to speak.
Aaron Young: Tonight, #TheSociety brutally attacked Vitor Mata and thus, Vitor is not able to compete in his match with Jacob Daniels tonight. So, in Vitors place Larclan will now be fighting Jacob Daniels.
Aaron pauses, gaining a bit more confidence as he steps forward towards the camera.
Aaron Young: And #TheSociety will be banned from ringside. Goodluck tonight, Larclan Youll need it.
Aaron walks away from the camera and the scene cuts away.
BACKSTAGE
The camera catches up with a recovering Isabella Strickland in the back. Shes icing her knee and taking a drink from her water bottle before acknowledging the camera. Theres obvious disappointment on her face as she begins to speak.
STRICKLAND: Theres really not much to say after a defeat...or even after a string of defeats like Ive had. Every week I step up, thinking this will be the match where I shake off any doubt Ive had. Thinking itll be the match where I finally prove myself to everyone...but I fall short every single time.
Isys head drops as she lets her words hang in the air for a few seconds. But when she brings her face up, theres a fire in her eyes.
STRICKLAND: And theres nobody to blame, but myself. Every since I stepped into Liberty, Ive faced some of the best talent of my career. Ive seen a lot of prospects who can be someone big. Ive got nothing to be ashamed of, but that doesnt make these losses hurt any less. It just means one thing.
Theres a slight smirk on Isabellas face as she holds up one finger.
STRICKLAND: Means I have to get better. Even at my ages, Im still learning and still making mistakes. So I have to get back in the gym, get as many extra reps as I can, watch as much tape as I can, and study my mistakes. I have to recover and I have to get better. So next week? Im going to be better. And I wont make the same mistakes. Next week wont just be a rebound
As she stands, theres a slight wince on her face, but she muscles through it and keeps staring into the camera with intensity.
STRICKLAND: Itll be the start of a new era for Isabella Strickland.
A wink before she walks off from the scene and the camera cuts to elsewhere in the building.
MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES MATCH W/ ASHLEIGH POWELL AS SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE
Jacob Daniels vs Larclan
It wasnt the opponent Daniels was preparing for, but from the get go, that didnt seem to matter. The Society member charged his larger foe before the opening bell, before Ashleigh Powell had a chance to check either man for foreign objects, and was met with a huge lariat! Jacob followed up with a pair of slams, before backing Larclan into the ropes and hitting him, out of nowhere, with his Shotgun Kick! Shooting a look at Ashleigh, Daniels covered, but pulled his opponent up at two, much to the dismay of the referee!
Jacob pulled Larclan up, and was met with a few shots to the midsection, but he quickly shut that down with a kneelift that did just that; lifted Larclan off the ground! Daniels could be seen mouthing This is going to be you to Ashleigh as he gripped his massive hand around the throat of his opponent, hitting his chokeslam backbreaker! Again he covered, and again he pulled Larclan up at two! Powell got in the face of her future opponent, warning him...which provided Larclan a chance to get up and catch his opponent off guard with a HUGE punch to the jaw!
That stunned him, letting Larclan reel off a handful of strikes, but when he tried for a clothesline, he got caught and hit with a big spinebuster! Not hesitating any further, Daniels pulled his opponent up again, hitting him with the Bombs Away...but AGAIN he pulled Larclan, now out cold and clearly beaten, off the mat! He set up for another one, Ashleigh screaming at him to stop...which he did, only to throw Larclan into the corner and have words with the special referee. Ashleigh moved to position herself between Jacob and his beaten (but not defeated) foe, and the two continued to yell...until Jacob picked Ashleigh up and threw her halfway across the ring, grabbing Larclan to hit another Bombs Away! He covered...but the bell rang, Ashleigh calling for the disqualification!
WINNER: Larclan by DQ @ 8:45
Daniels gets to his feet and immediately starts to yell in the face of Powell who points to her referee shirt and tells him how he pushed her, not giving an inch to the mix larger Daniels.
Jacob chuckles and grabs a handful of Ashleighs hair and drags her around the ring for a moment and even over the motionless body of Larclan. Jacob continues until he has Ashleigh in his grasp outside of ring, near the announce desk. He picks her up for a huge powerbomb, lining her up for the announce desk, but Powell fights back until she slides out of the grasp of Daniels and quickly makes her way up the ramp as he stares her down.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage and the scene opened on Melissa Reeves, standing by with Tim Anderson.
This is Tim Anderson, backstage for Liberty Pro, and I am joined at this time by Melissa Reeves!
The fans cheered. Melissa smiled a little, her eyes hidden behind sunglasses.
Melissa, tonight you face Felix Vialpando. What are your thoughts?
She shook her head and waited for the cheering to die down before she spoke.
Felix Vialpando. The man who thought that interfering in my match last week was a good idea. The man who decided to screw Zeke Reed over. Yeah, tonight I face him. And my thoughts? Thats simple, I got one thought tonight. Im going to beat him.
She smirked.
See for me, its nothing personal. Truthfully, I shouldnt be surprised that he interfered. After all, Felix is the sort of competitor who throws his toys around the playpen when he isnt getting his way. I suppose we should all be grateful he didnt just pick up his ball and take it home like he did to the last place.
The fans react with an audible
gasp, but then cheer her.
But tonight hes in my way. Tonight hes the guy standing between me and where I need to go. Which means that right here, tonight, in Portland, Maine
She paused again as the fans cheered for the mention of their city.
Right here, I will best him. And I hear that Felix likes to make notes. He likes to carry around his little notepad.
She leaned in real close to the camera and pretended to write into the palm of her hand.
Well, Felix, grab a pencil. No, make it a pen, because this is about to be a permanent note. You ready? Good. With me, lets start writing. I cannot beat Melissa Reeves. Now put that pad down, because this is the only note that will matter after tonight.
She stepped back and looked at Tim with a wide smile, then stepped out of view, ending the interview.
MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH:
Felix Vialpando vs Melissa Reeves
The highly anticipated match between Melissa Reeves and Felix Vialpando began with a roar from the crowd who were clearly on Melissa Reeves side, with her being one of the big time fan favorites of Liberty Pro. The match started out fast paced but Felix eventually took the lead by leaping up and hitting Melissa with an enziguri to her temple. Felix went for a quick pin but Melissa kicked out after one. Felix picked Melissa up and whipped her toward the ropes before charging behind her. Melissa grabbed the top rope and she used it to elevate herself in the air, causing her to land behind Felix who was charging from behind.
Felix turned around in surprise and Melissa hit him Facial Deconstructor, her finishing move, but Felixs momentum carried him to the outside of the ring. Reeves let him stay on the outside of the ring and the referee counted Felix out to the nine count but he was able to get up and get back into the ring. Melissa DDTd Felix and pinned him but only got a two count. She then backed up into the corner, waiting for Felix to get up. As Felix began to stir, Melissa was getting ready to charge him and go for a second Facial Deconstructor but Felix noticed and he slid out of the ring quickly, trying to gather himself.
Melissa still charged and she ended up doing a suicide dive through the the middle rope and as Felix turned around, Melissa landed right on him, taking him out and causing the fans to go wild. Melissa picked Felix up and slid him in the ring and pinned him. She picked up a two count before Felix kicked out. Melissa picked Felix up and whipped him into the ropes. He came back and Melissa went for a dropkick but Felix dodged it and Melissa crashed to the canvas. Felix grabbed Melissa and picked her up before grabbing her head and then running up the turnbuckle and leaping off, nailing a tornado DDT. Felix pinned Melissa and she kicked out after two.
Melissa began to stir but Felix grabbed her and put her in an armbar. Melissa yelled out in agony as she reached for the ropes. Felix tightened his grip on Melissa and she yelled even louder. Melissa reached out one more time and finally grabbed the ropes but Felix doesnt break the hold. The referee counted to four before Felix finally let go. Felix got up and began to stomp on Melissas arm that he had in the arm bar but the referee would soon push Felix away. Felix and the referee started to get into a heated argument, giving Melissa some time to recover. Felix went back over to Melissa and as he went to pick her up, she rolled him up and picked up a solid two count before Felix kicked out.
Melissa bounced off of the ropes as Felix got to his feet and she leaped into the air before taking Felix down with a leaping clothesline. Melissa waited for Felix to get up again and when Vialpando did, she charged him. Reeves went for a clothesline but Felix ducked under it. Melissa bounced off the ropes, as did Felix and when they came back together, Felix leaped in the air and took her out with a Superman Punch. Felix pinned Melissa after hitting one of his big time moves but she managed to kick out after two. Vialpando hovered over Reeves, looking to finish her off but "Backseat Freestyle" by Kendrick Lamar blared over the PA system.
Felix looked over to the entrance way, expecting Zeke Reed to show up but he didnt come out even though his music was playing. After waiting a few more seconds, Felix turned around and he ran into a recovered Melissa Reeves who took him over the the Reaver Slam. Melissa pinned Felix and picked up the three count.
WINNER: Melissa Reeves by pinfall @ 21:45
Melissa had her hand raised in victory as she looked down at Felix with a grin on her face. She then looked up towards the entrance way and finally, there was Zeke Reed standing there with a notepad in his hand. Zeke wrote on the notepad before turning it and holding it up for the cameras to see. It said in large letters, FELIX IS TRASH. Zeke then dropped the notepad and walked off.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens to outside of Wren Sweets locker room. A few cameras wait outside as a hand of a reporter knocks on the door. Instead of Wren Sweet answering, its her agent, Killian Archer who stands there in a nice fitted suit.
Killian Archer: Okay sorry folks, but Miss Sweet is unable to speak at this time, shes very focused on this match since its of great significance to her and her career. Please give her, her space and allow her this time to meditate and focus. Thank you.
Killian slides back into the locker room and closes the door.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens in the back where Jacob Daniels is pulling off the tape on his hands and wrists. He sees the camera and starts to chuckle.
Jacob Daniels: You were so close to feeling that table on your back Ashleigh. I showed you in that match, a front row seat for what I can do Worried yet? How many times did I have Larclan down and beat? How many times did I pull him back and beat him down again?
A sick smirk comes to his face.
Jacob Daniels: You saw how I can be Powell And that was just for fun. Imagine how it will be when I am coming for the gold you carry around with you right now?
He smirks again before pushing the camera away.
HEADLINE: TAG TEAM MATCH

As the referee turned his back to them got, Wren reached into her waist and and started to fiddle with something, Finn who was talking to Cami with a final few words of reassurance, turned to met by a stiff, closed right hand from Wren, whomcold clocked him in the jaw. Finn crumpled to the mat almost as soon as the connection was made, Wren slipped something from her hand that glistened in the light as she dropped to the canvas and rolled out of the ring, leaving a pair of brass knuckles in her wake.
The referee immediately called for the bell, disqualifying Wren and also Colt, who was already in the ring checking on his brother with Cami at his side.
WINNERS: Cami McGatha & Finn Brady by DQ @ 1:45
As medics came rushing out, Wren happily skipped past them, turning to look back at the ring with a slight shrug, she locked eyes with her partner Cami and smiled before disappearing backstage, leaving Finn to be checked on in the ring.
BACKSTAGE
Becky Balfour was sitting in the middle of the floor in #TheSociety locker room, with at least twenty 'Followers' standing behind her. In front of her on the floor was the Liberty Championship.
Becky Balfour: Alicia Lukas. This is what you wanted, right? You trapped me into a championship match, at least that's what you're going around telling anyone that will listen. Ask yourself, have I ever been afraid of defending my championship?
Becky reached in front of her and ran her black fingernails across the plate of the championship and tapped it for emphasis a few times.
Becky Balfour: Maybe you're the one who is trapped. Maybe you're the one who is setting yourself up for failure. Think about it, since Liberty opened it's doors, there has been one group, one family that has dominated this company. #TheSociety
The Followers in the background proudly flex their chests to show off the same shirts on each individual sporting the simple, but now statement making logo of #TheSociety.
Becky Balfour: I'm the only Liberty champion in this company's history. Warren is the Anarchy champion. And ask yourself how many other's have tried stopping me. Ashleigh Powell, Vitor Mata, Zeke Reed, even Melissa Reeves and they ALL failed. What makes you different?
Becky stands up, kicking her title to the side as she raises her voice.
Becky Balfour: What the HELL makes you any different? You tried driving a wedge between Seth and I, and failed. You tried beating Jacob Daniels and failed. You tried not to be a pathetic whore and you failed there too.
The champion laughed, brushing her hair back as she then screamed.
Becky Balfour: YOU are the failure Alicia Lukas, not me. My entire life it was people like YOU that tried to make me feel bad about myself, and now look, I'm sitting at the top while all of you judgmental pieces of shit chase me, hoping you can do the unthinkable and pry the Liberty championship away from me, away from us.
Becky turned around and swiftly scooped up the title and held it right up to the camera.
Becky Balfour: Tonight this stays right where it belongs, with my family. With me. And Alicia, ask yourself, what happens to you when I beat you? You've gone around telling everyone that you're taking my title, that you're taking out the trash, and that I'm pathetic, but when I beat you, and I will...what happens to someone that loses to the 'trash' of Liberty?
Becky turned to her Followers and then looked back at the camera.
Becky Balfour: I won't let them down. Will you let down your supporters?
Her chest heaved up and down as her voice was finally lowered, this time to almost a whisper.
Becky Balfour: You set yourself up to either win and become champion, or fail, again, and make yourself look worse because you've done nothing but trash me. Tonight, I'll do what I've been doing...winning when it matters most. Now get the hell out of my face.
Becky shoved the camera as the scene went to static.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts backstage to Aaron Young once again and hes looking down at his phone, checking the reactions of the fans and also the Liberty Pro competitors on Twitter about the ongoing show. Suddenly a hand is placed on his shoulder and it startles him for a moment before he turns around and sees none other than Nathan Callaghan.
Aaron Young: N-Nathan!? Youre here? Wait, of course youre here because Im looking at you.
Nathan lets out a laugh and before grabbing at his ribs.
Nathan Callaghan: Son of a bitch, that hurts.
He shakes his head before looking at Aaron again.
Nathan Callaghan: Youve done a good job but you can stick to the Twitter gig. Im back. Now run along.
Aaron Young: Uh Of course!
Aaron walks away and Nathan faces the camera.
Nathan Callaghan: My doctors told me it would be best if I stayed away for a month, possibly two But sometime with a backbone needs to run this damn place. So here I am, battered Beaten And even broken. By my own son at that.
Nathan lets out another painful laugh, followed by a sigh.
Nathan Callaghan: That being said Ive seen a lot of the attacks that have been going on and they will not go down unnoticed. Take for instance what happened to Vitor Mata earlier in the night. You think youre just going to get away with that, Warren? Well, youre going to have to defend that Anarchy Championship of yours against Vitor Mata at our next supershow, Battle Symphony.
Nathan nods confidently before continuing on.
Nathan Callaghan: Speaking of attacks and what not Romeo Black will have his chance to seek his revenge against Dick Lightning as they fight head to head in a first blood match, also at Battle Symphony. Ive also taken note of the tag team division, which has been up in flux since Ive been away and that will also be fixed in due time. Lastly, Jacob Daniels, you will have to win your next two matches in under five minutes if you want a shot at the Gotham Championship. There are other things Ive been keeping my eyes on as well, specifically that Mr. Notetaker, who Ive hired two separate times and this is the thanks hes given me?
Nathan chuckles and shakes his head.
Nathan Callaghan: But I wont touch on everything tonight. Ill save it for later. Just know that Im back and Im not dealing with anyones shit. Good luck and good night.
The owner of Liberty Pro walks away from the scene as the scene cuts out.
MAIN EVENT: LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Becky Balfour vs Alicia Lukas
The match started off with Alicia and Becky hooking up in the middle of the ring. They had a battle of strength before the Southern Belle took over and put Becky in a headlock. Becky pushed Alicia off and into the ropes and Alicia came back and knocked the Liberty Champ down with a shoulder block. Lukas hit the ropes again and as Becky got up, Alicia took her down with a Lou Thesz Press and began to pummel Becky in the face with several forearm smashes before the referee finally pulled her off. Alicia was relentless and she stomped on Becky over and over again. Lukas leaned down and began to scream at Becky but Balfour used this opportunity to grab Alicia and roll her up. Becky got the two count before Alicia kicked out. The two got up at the same time and Alicia charged Becky and went for a clothesline but Becky ducked it before grabbing Lukas by the back of her hair and yanking on it, pulling her down to the canvas.
Becky lifted Alicia up and set her up for her patented Reverse DDT. Becky screamed in Alicias ear and right before she could finish the job, Alicia spun out of the hold before pulling Becky in by the arm and dropping her with a brutal clothesline. Alicia quickly put Becky in her patented Lionless Lock. Becky screamed in agony as she tried to reach the ropes but as soon as she almost touched them, Alicia pulled her away. Alicia applied more pressure when Seth Lawless got on the apron and distracted the referee. On the other side of the ring, Warren stepped up onto the apron, causing Alicia to release her hold.
Alicia charged Warren Corbett and took him off of the apron with a brutal forearm. As Alicia turned around, she was met by Becky Balfour, who raked Alicia in the eyes. Becky then nailed her Hear Me Out (Reverse DDT) finish on Alicia. Becky pinned Alicia and Seth dropped off the apron, no longer distracting the referee. The referee counted to two and Lukas kicked out right before the three count. Beckys eyes widened in disbelief, not knowing how Lukas possibly kicked out of her Hear Me Out finish. Becky finally gathered herself and she lifted Alicia up off of the canvas but Alicia drove her elbow into Beckys gut several times before she grabbed her and nailed her with a German suplex into a bridging pin. The referee counted to two before Becky kicked out.
Alicia lifted Becky up and Becky shoved Alicia off. Alicia countered by hitting a superkicking Becky, followed up by The Georgia Drop (Go To Sleep). Alicia pinned Becky but Seth put Balfours foot on the ropes. The referee noticed and he ordered Seth, Warren and Larclan to go backstage. #TheSociety members were irate but listened to the order and they retreated backstage, leaving Becky to fight Alicia on her own. Alicia waited for Becky to get up and when she did, Lukas then charged and hit Becky with a DDT to a kneeling opponent. Becky looked out of it as Alicia pinned. Becky managed to kick out after two.
Alicia sighed as she got up to her feet. She went to pick up Balfour but Becky was playing possum and she rolled Alicia up. Becky grabbed Alicias tights and got the two count before the referee stopped counting when he noticed Becky had the tights. Becky and the referee argue for a moment and this gives Alicia time to drop Becky with a swinging neckbreaker. Instead of going for another pin, Alicia picked Becky up and dropped her with a second Georgia Drop (Go To Sleep) but Becky ended up rolling out of the ring after taking the move. Alicia put her hands on her head, worried she might have just missed her chnace. The referee counted Becky up to six but Alicia slid out of the ring, knowing she cant win the title on a countout. She picked a limped bodied Becky up and slid her into the ring before getting in herself right before the ten count.
Alicia picked Becky up and lifted her up on her shoulders, going for a third Georgia Drop. As Alicia lifted Balfour in the air, Becky managed to slide off of Alicia and ended up behind her back. Becky grabbed a hold of Alicias head and screamed in her ear before dropping her with the Hear Me Out (Reverse DDT). Becky pinned Alicia and picked up the three count, successfully defending her Liberty Pro Championship and picking up the victory.
WINNER: Becky Balfour by pinfall @ 25:45
Becky was handed her Liberty Pro Championship by the referee and she raised it in the air over Alicia Lukas with a smirk on her face. Becky then bent over and begin to scream in Alicias face. Alicia came to her senses and she spit into Beckys face, which caused the champion to go irate. Becky slammed her Liberty Pro Championship down into Alicias face and she began to pummel her with it over and over. Becky picked Alicia up and set her up for another Hear Me Out but Becky didnt see Melissa Reeves run down the ramp. Reeves slid in the ring and clotheslined the unsuspecting Becky. Becky got to her feet and as she did, Melissa leaped into the air and dropped Balfour with a Facial Deconstructor. Melissa then grabbed the Liberty Pro Championship and held it up high as she stood over Becky. Melissa then laid the belt over Beckys chest and #TheSociety members sprinted down to the ring but Melissa slid out and retreated into the crowd with a smirk on her face and the show ended with that as the lasting shot.
LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS... LIBERATION: EPISODE SEVEN
LIVE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7TH, 2017 FROM THE CROSS INSURANCE ARENA IN PORTLAND, MAINE

PRESHOW
