BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson was walking through catering she grabbed a water from the table and slowly opened it she took a drink of it and kept walking. She nodded at the backstage workers when she felt her phone vibrate in her back pocket. She stopped and reached in her back pocket and brought the phone up to her ear. She put it on speaker as she didnt care who would hear her conversation.
Emily Jackson: Hello?
Blair Jackson: Hey Em! How are you?
Emily smiled as she knew it was her cousin Blair calling. Blair was the glue that brought all of the Jacksons together when Emily, Larissa, and Luke's dad had died. Everyone was scattered around but she brought them closer.
Emily Jackson: Im good. Got to the arena and I am walking to the locker room right now.
Blair Jackson: I wish I could be there but I need to be in Vegas. Larissa has a huge match against one of the Callaghans you know how that is. I just wanted to check on you and see how you were doing.
Emily nodded.
Emily Jackson: Im good. It is a huge match and all of that. Just want to make sure Avery and I need this win. We need to kind of crack the Society a little bit. Plus it would look good for us in the tag titles race.
Blair Jackson: Well you know I dont like that whole group so whatever you do I will enjoy. Just go out there and win. Oh what happened with you and Klay?
Emily stopped as she reached the locker room. She opened the door and walked in.
Emily Jackson: That would probably be better known when I want to talk about it. Right now I want to worry about our match. Sorry Blair.
Blair laughed on the other end of the phone.
Blair Jackson: Its okay I totally understand it. Just do you girl. Ill be watching. Love you.
Emily Jackson: Love you.
Emily ended the call and then took another sip of her water. She sat it down on the bench and smiled at the camera.
Emily Jackson: The Society. A group that I want to have a hand in beating. I know how good they are and it has become a group that has become a thorn in the side of everyone here. They need to feel what it is like to be down in this business. Now, if you believe them they have all led terrible lives. But with that why do they have to take it out on everyone? Is it that bad that they need to make others suffer for no apparent reason? Avery and I get to face Elodie and Havyn tonight. We have a chance to take out the two newest members and well we have to do it. Team Snapback needs this win not because we have been knocked down the past two weeks but because we need to show the Society that you can knock us down but we will always get back up. We will always fight and it is that simple. Tonight, the Society can keep doing what they have been or they can be pushed around. We need to push them around we need to stake our claim.
Emily took a deep breath and finished her water.
Emily Jackson: Plus my family name needs to be put back on the map. The past few weeks my whole family has been pushed around spat on and made to look like horrible people. The Jackson name needs to be more important and I want to be part of that. So tonight I just dont win for Avery but I win for my family.
She smiled as she turned and walked to the showers.
PRESHOW MATCH: TAG TEAM MATCH
Girls of Summer vs. Larclan & Isla Carter
wrote:
This match starts off as a one sided affair and it never changed after that. Girls of Summer kept Larclan and Isla Carter on the ropes. Isla and Larclan would soon argue during the match, with Isla Carter dropping Larclan with a DDT. This left Larclan by himself with Coral and Nami and they made sure to take advantage. It wasnt look before the twins worked in perfect syncronization as they hit Larclan with Sunburned in Paradise (Senton (Coral) followed by a Warrior Stomp (Nami)). Nami made the pin on Larclan and picked up the easy three count for her team.
WINNERS: Girls of Summer by pinfall @ 4:32
BACKSTAGE
Backstage Elodie and Havyn are stood in a hallway sharing a smoke, as one of the backstage assistants passes they casually tap the no smoking sign, before realizing who theyre doing it to, they immediately lower their head as though to walk past but Elodie slams her hand against the wall, using her arm to block their path. Havyn moves behind the young man who starts to look really nervous. As Elodie exhales a lungful of smoke into his face, Havyn leans in close, her tone barely above a hiss as she speaks directly into his ear.
Havyn Black: I know you didnt just tap a sign like youre in the fucking DMV or some shit Did you?
He shakes his head no but Elodie leans in and grabs his chin to stop him from shaking his head, smiling slightly in a twisted way as Havyn continues her hissing whispers.
Havyn Black: You know.. you should be grateful to Callaghan right now, because if we didnt have a match to prep for, I would personally rip that sign off the wall and shove it up your ass.
Elodie chuckles as Havyn pushes away. Turning her palm flat to his cheek now Elodie squashes his face into the wall as Havyn flicks her still lit cigarette at him with a sneer.
Havyn Black: Fuck it, we dont have time for this Shit.
Elodie sighs and almost pouts at the thought of not continuing with whatever she was planning before dropping her knee into the guy's gut with a laugh.
Elodie: Yeah, let's go.
BACKSTAGE
The scene fades in backstage, where Avery Smith is pacing back and forth in the corridor. She has an important match tonight, and it keeps weighing on her mind.
Avery Smith: My mouth can get me into trouble. A lot of trouble. That is why its taken until now, Libertys tenth show, for me to get in front of a camera and actually say well, anything I suppose. I should have done it earlier, especially as its thanks to the fans that I get to do any of this. But now is the right time, because tonight Emily and I have a huge match coming up against #TheSociety for a shot at the Tag Team Championships, a twist I wasnt expecting, but I am absolutely sick to death of #TheSociety. I like to remain positive, but it is very difficult to do that when it seems to be very much a case of having to look over your shoulder, because you never know when they will be coming.
Avery takes her cap off the top of her head and flings it down the hall, paying no attention to where it lands.
Avery Smith: But tonight? Tonight is a different story. Emily and I will have two members of #TheSociety right in front of us and, after the beatdown they gave us a few weeks ago, it is very much a personal matter. Its not about whose snapback game is better, in fact when it comes to #TheSociety Im pretty sure they dont have any game whatsoever. Tonight is all about revenge, so Elodie and Hayvn Black had better be thoroughly prepared. I may have felt like the weak link between myself and Emily recently, but tonight the only weak links will be the ones holding #TheSociety together after we put an end to them.
Avery scowls, trying to put on her meanest fighting face.
Avery Smith: #TheSociety may think they run the place right now, but soon enough they will fall. One by one, they will all fall. Theres an entire roster sick and tired of them, and ironically, soon enough we will become a society of our own.
Her facial expression turning to that of something more resembling of a smile, the tone of Averys voice turns much more positive to match.
Avery Smith: Of course, tonight is just the tip of the iceberg. Going forward, Team Snapback will continue to grow as a team and the only way is up from here. We have our eyes on those Tag Team Championships, and I very much intend on putting the work in to ensure that we one day get our hands on them. But not at the moment. Our hands are currently full with #TheSociety, so well have to take them out of the equation first!
With that, Avery exits the scene with a skip in her step. Her match is coming up fast, so she has no more time to waste.
BACKSTAGE
Coral and Nami Azul are seen as they walk backstage at the Barclays Center, after their pre-show debut against Larclan and Isla Carter, already the pair are cleaned up and dressed super cute, in light summer sundresses that really dont fit the cooler weather but they certainly dont act like theyre cold. Coral is definitely the more excited of the pair of twins, she darts forward and skips back, laughing and demanding the highest of fives before she does it again, Nami a bit more calm but definitely playing along.
Coral Azul: We DID it! We did it all by ourselves, without any of you who know who what stuff!
Nami laughs and nods her head at this, her grin very wide.
Nami Azul: Yes we did! It was almost as good as riding some tasty waves.
A pause as the pair laugh, blond hair shining as they bounce in unison.
Coral Azul: Almost!
They turn and continue to walk down the hall, barely acknowledging anyone around them unless they congratulate them or say something like good job tonight then they turn huge megawatt smiles toward those people and bask in the attention. They find a good monitor with a clear screen to watch the rest of the show, as Coral leans on the wall letting Nami get the best view.
Nami Azul: Its nice to be able to actually show off what we can do. I bet
A devious grin comes to that pretty face, mirrored by one on Corals.
Nami Azul: ...oh I bet it wont be long before everyone recognizes us for what stars we are.
They sigh, and nod in unison.
Coral Azul: Its better than sitting around getting fat while we wait to be unsuspended from pro surfing, thats a fact.
The pair put their heads together as they watch the show and the cameras go elsewhere.
MATCH ONE: FOR THE LIBERTY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS #1 CONTENDERSHIP
#TheSociety (Elodie & Havyn Black) vs. Team Snapback (Avery Smith & Emily Johnson)
wrote:
The bell sounds with Elodie and Avery in the ring, neither getting the clear advantage. Elodie is able to push Avery into the corner but the official pulls Elodie back, unable to see Havyn yank on Averys hair and pulling her to the canvas. Elodie jumps on top of Avery and rains down a series of hard punches. She backs off for a moment and lines up Avery for a hard kick but Smith is able to move out of the way and trip up Elodie. Avery Smith drops a big elbow to the chest of Elodie before pulling her to her feet and suplexing her hard the mat. Avery locks in a side headlock and works Elodie to the ground. As Avery works the neck of Elodie, she moves to the corner and tags in Emily Jackson. The two exchange quick tags to keep Elodie down while Havyn pulls at her own hair in the far corner.
Just then Elodie hits a big clothesline on Emily that leaves both down on the canvas. Elodie just makes a tag to Havyn as Emily gets to her feet. Havyn charges in and spears Jackson then starts to bite and gnaw at the forehead of Emily Jackson. Avery charges in and knocks Havyn off her partner, Havyn rolls a bit and gets to a crouching position and hisses at Avery. The official finally gets the ring cleared for Emily and Havyn to square up. Black showing her lack of in ring skill, gets overpowered in the grapple and taken down with a suplex. Havyn fights back some but Avery tags in and is able to take down Havyn with her Endgame wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm bicycle knee strike and makes the cover. Elodie tries to get involved but Emily dives and takes her down with a flying crossbody. Avery and Emily are both pinning the two Society members and they both get the three count with Averys pin getting the win due to her being the legal teammate.
WINNERS: Team Snapback (Avery Smith & Emily Jackson) @ 5:23
Avery and Emily raise each others hands in the air as they become the number one contenders for the Liberty Tag Team Championships.
BACKSTAGE
Scarlett Highland strutted down the hallway with a big smile on her face. The starlet was in her ring gear with a purple robe overtop of it. Spotting a camera, she shouted.
Scarlett Highland: STOP! You, camera guy! STOP right now!
Scarlett waved a finger, motioning him to come towards her.
Scarlett Highland: Come here...faster!
The camera moves towards her quickly, signaling that the camera man was heeding her request.
Scarlett Highland: The next time I say come here, you RUN, because if you don't, I'll tell Mr.Callaghan aka Big Callaghan, okay? And when I tell Big Callaghan, guess what? You get a big letter that says F-I-R-E-D, that's a big FIRED!
Scarlett poked the camera with her index finger and shook her head.
Scarlett Highland: Now, on to the news of the night. I regret to inform you that there will NOT be a new episode of my hit reality show. Why? Because instead, I have a bald, bitter, boy to focus on. Of course I'm talking about Seth Lawless. Now for those of you who think Seth can win, allow me to tell you that I've been training harder than ever for this match. I even went from shopping 5 days a week to only shopping 4 days a week to give myself an extra day to prep for the match!
The fans watching from their seats on the big screen laughed at the charismatic reality show starlet.
Scarlett Highland: Tonight, I know I'm really putting myself out there. This is a match unlike ANY before in history. This is a match where I have to valiantly fight to pin Seth for a three count, while he has to pin me for a ten count.
The biggest grin possible spread across her face.
Scarlett Highland: Which means he has, like, ZERO chance of winning. See Sethy, this is what happens when you get on my bad side. You're playing by my rules and tonight, we end this once and for all. You want nothing more than to take me out, right? Well you're going to have to do just that if you want to pin me for a ten count, but let's be honest, NO ONE is expecting much out of you. Last week, I single handedly helped your little fiancée keep her championship, and tonight, I will also put a spotlight on you...I guess you can say I'm the best thing to happen to The Society. Thank me later, jerk face.
Scarlett smirked.
Scarlett Highland: Let's keep it real for a hot sec though, when has Seth Lawless ever been poppin'? I mean, seriously. This guy is stiffer than cardboard, as generic as a vanilla ice cream cone, and as boring as a Nascar race, like...ugh. I deserve better. You know, I'll have better...but for now? Wait...
Scarlett looks at the camera man with an aghast expression.
Scarlett Highland: You TOTALLY just shot my bad side...that's it. You're gone! I'll make sure of it. Hmmmph!
Scarlett turned on her heels and marched away, aggression in her step as she headed towards Nathan's office to address the cameraman situation.
MATCH TWO: NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH
Romeo Black vs. Dick Lightning
wrote:
The no holds barred match began with Romeo Black immediately sliding out of the ring and calling on Dick to join him. Dick acted as if he were thinking about it but then walked back to the center of the ring. Dicks manager, Deztiny meanwhile began taunting Romeo, who slid into the ring only to be met with a barrage of stomps from Lightning. Lightning pulled Romeo to his feet and scooped him up and slammed him back down. He then picked him back up and positioned him neck first across the middle rope, allowing Deztiny to pull down on Romeos head and choke him right in front of the referee, who could do nothing about it since it was a no holds barred match.
As Deztiny finally let Black go, he slumped to the mat and was then hit with a baseball slide from Lightning that sent him crashing out of the ring and to the floor. It took a few moments for Romeo to connect his bearings enough to stand up, but when he did, he would immediately regret it as Dick jumped over the top rope and hit a flipping senton onto Romeo. Deztiny would make her presence felt again when she helped her boyfriend Dick to his feet. Lightning leaned against the ring to keep his balance as Deztiny ran towards Romeo and kicked him as hard as she could in the stomach as he was on his hands and knees.
Dick maintained firm control of the match by sending Black back first into the barricades at ringside. The fans shouted words of encouragement, but it would be of no use as Deztiny grabbed a steel chair from under the ring and slid it into the ring. Dick Lightning then rolled Romeo back into the ring. Dick slid in behind him and picked the chair up. As he went to slam it across the back of Black, Romeo would connect with a punch to the stomach first, causing Lightning to drop the chair. Romeo then connected with a pele kick that sent Lightning to the mat. The fans were really getting behind Romeo Black at this point.
Romeo worked over Lightning for a few moments before missing a standing moonsault after positioning Lightning onto the chair, which meant Black crashed into the chair. Dick went for a pinfall but only picked up a two count. Lightning aggressively pulled Black to his feet and hit him with the Rude Awakening, leaving Romeo on the mat clutching at his neck. Dick took some time to walk over to the ropes and lean between the top and middle rope so that Deztiny could kiss him on the cheek as she continued cheering on her man.
Dick again picked up the steel chair and this time he shouted its over. As Romeo stood up, Lightning attempted to crack him in the head with the chair but this time Romeo connected with a kick to the stomach that again caused Lightning to drop the chair. Romeo then hit a snap ddt on the chair and then made his way to the top turnbuckle. With Deztiny screaming in protest, but being drowned out by the cheers of the fans, Romeo connected with Romeo Dont Die (imploding 450) and made the cover, picking up the three count in this emotionally charged matchup.
WINNER: Romeo Black by pinfall @ 13:04
The referee raised Romeos hand in the air as Deztiny helped Dick Lightning out of the ring. Dick held onto his chest in pain as he looked over at Romeo with an angry look on his face. Romeo couldnt help but smile as he raised his hands in victory.
MATCH THREE:TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH
The Legacies vs. The Brady Bros
wrote:
Cami and Finn agree to start the match, beginning with a handshake they then lock up and Finn gets the upper hand at first but the pair keep with a mostly even back and forth. Finn takes control first and whips Cami off the ropes into a short arm clothesline, following up with a knee drop to her chest that knocks the wind out of her. Rolling up onto her side shes ready for him next time and sweeps his legs with a hook behind the knee. She gets to her feet as Finn kips up but Cami was prepared and nails a hard kick to Finns jaw. He takes the pause to step back and tag in Colt. The couple take pause and share a smile before Cami dips under Colts arm and wraps it up with an armbar up between his shoulder blades.
Colt twists out of the hold and takes Cami over his shoulder, slamming her down into the mat, rolling her back up to her feet he uses a beautiful bridge suplex but Cami is able to kick out at two, as she gets her shoulder up, Colt gets to his feet and bounces off the ropes, as he comes down though, Cami gets a knee up and knocks the wind clean out of him, getting up herself she makes it over to Wren and tags her, but Wren shakes her head and refuses to get in the ring, an argument breaks out between the girls as Colt argues with the official to call off the match. Wren slips between the ropes but before Cami can leave the ring she nails her with a super kick to the face, Cami falls back to the mat out cold, as Wrens boot was obviously loaded.
Both Colt and the official didnt see the kick, turning to see an out cold Cami on the canvas, just as Colt is about to ask what happened, Finn leans over the ropes and slaps Colt on the shoulder for a blind tag; slipping between the ropes he immediately drops and scoops the leg for a three count.
WINNERS and NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: The Brady Bros @ 4:21
Meanwhile Wren is already making her way up the ramp, Colt stands in the ring confused as to what just happened, as the official goes to raise his hand he pulls it away and drops to his knees to check in the still unconscious Cami, even telling his brother to get out the ring.
As Wren reaches the top of the ramp, she is met by an unimpressed looking Nathan Callaghan. Nathan informs Wren that due to her actions tonight and in the weeks leading up to the event, she is fired from Liberty and is to leave the arena immediately.
Before security can intervene, Wren slaps Nathan clean across the face, knocking the taste from his mouth before security swoops in and remove her from the area.
BACKSTAGE
Seth Lawless: You have put this on yourself Scarlett Highland.
Seth Lawless walks into the picture. He is in his wrestling gear, he is working on taping his wrists as he looks deep into the camera. From looking at him you can tell that he was not in a good mood. He walked over to a table and slammed his fist into it hard. The tape that was in his hand was then thrown against the wall. He sneered at the camera as he kept talking.
Seth Lawless: All of the words you have said about me, all of the things you have done to me come down to this match. They come down to the way I can put you down for a 10 count, and believe me Scarlett I will do it.
He spits on the ground as he wipes his face.
Seth Lawless: I dont know what your final game plan is Scarlett. I dont know if you stepped into Liberty looking to make me pissed off enough that I would end your career before it has even started, or if you just thought that you wanted to take on a top dog so you saw me and thought you could get one over me. The fact is Scarlett that you have upped this game against me and I need to end it. I need to see you in the middle of that ring and I need to teach you a lesson.
He smirks as he licks his lips.
Seth Lawless: You can talk about how you have beaten me before and that you are a huge reality star, the problem with that is that you have been HANDED everything by our boss Nathan. Everything you do he is proud of, everything that you think of he thinks is a great idea. Everything, that you touch he thinks is gold while I am here working my ass off and I cannot get a sniff at a title. All you need to do is get on your knees and act like a damn brat and you get whatever the hell it is that you want. That ends tonight Scarlett. That ends when I make your damn head bounce off the canvas over and over again.
Seth slams the table again as he starts to pace around the room.
Seth Lawless: You were able to make this match whatever you wanted to be and I was fine with that. I was fine with it because I knew that whatever you chose would give you the advantage and you did just that. I have to beat you for a 10 count, while you only have to beat me for a 3. I get that the odds are against me and I get that you think that you have the match in the bag because of that. But in all reality you dont have it in the bag. See you go back on the fact that you have beaten me before but lets go back to that match shall we? I just had a match and you came out and asked for a match and got it and yes you did beat me. Tonight is different though I dont have a match beforehand to have myself worry about. I just have you to worry about and Scarlett that will be a problem for you.
He takes a deep breath and closes his eyes.
Seth Lawless: Every amount of focus that I have had this week has been on you. Every breath I have taken this week every movement I have made has been a move to be facing you. Every thought that I have had is about how I can make you lay down for a 10 count, and that is a problem for you. You might not know this but you have awoken something in me. You have awoken the Seth Lawless that laid waste to people in FSW. This is the Seth that you didnt want, you and everyone else has called me a lap dog to Becky, and now I will grow out of that and PROVE to you and everyone else that I am not that lap dog but I am myself.
He points to the camera and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: A lot might be made about how the Society cant come out during this match. I get that but in all reality I dont need them tonight, all I need is you and I Scarlett. All I need is to beat you and I will, and when I do beat you people including Nathan will see what you have awoken, and Scarlett the next time you do a reality show it will be from a hospital bed. The time for fun and games is over, it is time for me to finish this
Seth walks over to the table and flips it over as he storms out of the room.
BACKSTAGE
Inside the trainers room, Cami McGatha is sitting on the examination table, she looks to the medic who gives her a sympathetic smile.
Medic: The good news is you dont seem to have any concussion signs, obviously youll be monitored and undergo checks before you compete next but all in all I think the worst youre looking at is a bad headache.
The medic hands her an ice pack for her head and smiles again with a small sigh.
Medic: Injury wise anyway.
Just then a knock comes at the door and Colt Brady is standing there, the medic waves him in and Cami manages a small smile for her boyfriend as she medic moves towards the door.
Medic: Ill give you two some privacy.
Colt Brady: Cami I
Before he can say anything Cami holds up a hand to stop him.
Cami McGatha: Colt. Please. I dont want to hear it...
As the door swings closed the rest of their conversation turns to distinct, muffled noises.
MATCH FOUR: SCARLETTS SPECIAL STIPULATION MATCH
Seth Lawless vs Scarlett Highland
wrote:
Like a bat straight out of hell, Seth charges at Scarlett with a hard lariat. The crowd cringes as Scarletts head bounces off the mat before she clutches the back of it in pain. Seth doesnt waste any time to pick her up against the corner and pummel her face with repeated forearm shots. The referee steps in with the count and Seth aggressively tosses Scarlett to the opposite corner, causing her to bump hard against the turnbuckles and fall on her face. Seth continues to punish Scarlett with merciless arm twists that keeps her down on her knees despite her punch attempts. Seth pulls up Scarlett to her feet again for a brutal chest chop that knocks the wind out of her as she staggers back. Seth throws Scarlett over in a snapmare but somehow she lands on her feet with a flip and runs the ropes. Scarlett leaps over a bent over Seth and rebounds again, only to get caught with an arm hook. Scarlett quickly stops Seths counter attempt with a sharp knee to his midsection. As Seth doubles over, Scarlett climbs up on his shoulders to drag him down with a hurricanrana, landing it with a pin. Seth kicks out after one.
Back on their feet, Seth lashes out with a hard head punch on Scarlett before irish whipping her to the corner where she runs up the turnbuckles and backflips over him. Scarlett hits the ropes and ducks just as Seth comes charging at her. Scarlett runs to the other side and springboards off the middle rope back to Seth who snatches her from midair to counter with a powerful scoop slam. Seth hooks Scarletts leg for the pin but only gets a five-count before Scarlett kicks out. Getting more frustrated, Seth hoists Scarlett up on his shoulders and charges at the turnbuckles, driving her spine into the corner. Scarlett goes limp from impact but Seth does it again before dropping her on the mat. He goes for the cover, only getting a seven-count this time. Pulling himself up, Seth glares down on Scarlett before grabbing her roughly by the hair and neck and propping her up against the ropes. Seth aims for a knife-edge chop but Scarlett ducks to trade places and delivers an effective leg kick. Seth tries to get some distance but Scarlett follows up with another leg kick that has him stumbling along the ropes. Scarlett grabs Seth but he fights back with punches and irish whips her to the corner. Seth charges at Scarlett who kicks up her legs, looking for her hurricanrana finisher, That Will Leave A Scar. But Seth catches hold of her and slams her down on the mat before lifting her up again, demonstrating his strength. Scarlett recovers in time to drop him face first into the canvas with a leg drop bulldog. Scarlett goes for the cover but only gets a near three-count.
Wincing, Scarlett slowly rolls to her feet while Seth pulls himself up with the aid of the ropes. Scarlett runs to the perpendicular ropes to launch herself off the middle for a springboard dropkick, sending Seth toppling over backwards out of the ring. Excitement grows in the crowd while both wrestlers take their time to recover. Scarlett makes her way to the outside as Seth struggles to his feet. Scarlett delivers an impactful kick to Seths midsection, forcing him back down on his knees. Scarlett then takes down Seth with a DDT on the hard floor, causing the crowd to cringe in unison. Scarlett painstakingly rolls Seth back inside the ring before climbing up on the ring apron to position herself. As Seth groggily rises to his feet and turns around, Scarlett springboards off the ropes but Seth lunges forward to hit her with a huge european uppercut that has her tilting upside down on the ropes. Seth staggers back a few steps before charging at Scarlett with a big boot to the head, dropping her lifelessly on the mat. Seth picks up Scarlett, only to take her down with a vicious short-arm clothesline before going for the cover, feeling pretty confident. But somehow Scarlett kicks out at nine and Seth nearly loses it as he argues with the referee. Meanwhile, Scarlett rolls to the outside to recover.
Seeing red now, Seth goes after Scarlett to the outside. Scarlett tries to crawl away but Seth stops her with a hard stomp on her back. Scarlett collapses on the floor, gripping her back. Seth gets into rampage mode as he picks up Scarlett to whip her hard into the crowd barricade. Scarlett screams in agony as she arches her back. Seth yanks Scarlett to her feet and props her up against the barricade. With a few steps back, Seth charges at Scarlett but she dives out of the way, causing him to crash and burn, head and shoulder first. Scarlett stumbles as she tries to stand up and get some distance. Seeing Seth still regaining his bearings, Scarlett climbs onto the apron for a successful flying crossbody.
Scarlett looks for the end as she struggles to pull up Seth. Seth instinctively stops Scarlett with punches. They trade more shots by the apron until Scarlett hits an effective knee to his gut, dropping him down on one knee. Scarlett takes a few steps back before charging at Seth but he snaps back to life just in time to catch her and reverse with his devastating pop-up powerbomb finisher, Detroit is Burning, driving her back down hard right on the apron, causing the crowd to go ooh! Seth takes his time to toss Scarlett back inside the ring for the pin. He picks up the ten count pin for the win.
WINNER: Seth Lawless by pinfall @ 24:34
Seth raises his hands in the air in victory before looking down at Scarlett with a smirk on his face. Seth bends down and trash talks Scarlett for a moment before slapping her on the face for good measure. The referee tells Seth to back off and he rolls his eyes and obliges before exiting the ring. The referee then checks on Scarlett, who is on the mat and holding her back in obvious pain.
BACKSTAGE
The scene fades backstage where Felix Vialpando was seen wearing a big grin on his face. With his two SAP North Atlantic Championship belts resting on his shoulders the note taker looked down to his waist where there was an exact replica of the LPW Gotham Championship with an extra detail to the belt that read "True". It was none other than the True LPW Gotham Championship belt similar to his True SAP North Atlantic Championship. He pats the new championship belt and smirks.
Felix Vialpando: Right where it belongs...
Cass Baumer: Right where what belongs?
Felix jumps a little being caught by surprise by the backstage interviewer that Felix found to be a nuisance.
Felix Vialpando: Ay dios mio....THE HELL DO YOU WANT CASS?! Can't you see I'm trying to prepare for my match tonight?!
Cass shakes her head.
Cass Baumer: Nope, I see you just sporting that ugly mug grin of yours.
Felix looks as if he was about to say something but holds back on saying it.
Cass Baumer: So Felix, how does it feel to be dropped and left behind by you big brother who you always looked up to, then your precious ex girlfriend who basically forgot you even existed while dating you and the woman who acted like she had your back but didn't?
Before Felix could retort Cass cuts him off.
Cass Baumer: You don't have to answer that, I know exactly how it feels.
Felix Vialpando: What do you want, Cass. Are you just here looking for your next big scoop?! Huh?! Well you're not getting it here! Nope! Nope! Not from me!
Cass rolls her eyes and then looks down to Felix's waist seeing the True LPW Gotham Championship. She chuckles and points at it.
Cass Baumer: And what is that supposed to be? Please don't tell me you spent all that hard earned money on another custom made belt just to flex your "true" ego.
Felix Vialpando: Shut it Cass. Feast your eyes on the True LPW Gotham Championship! Ever since I beat Ashleigh Powell I have been the True LPW Gotham Champion and it's about time you people recognized me as such! And by the end of tonight I'll be not only the True LPW Gotham Champion but I'll be the number one contender for the LPW Liberty Championship!
Felix nods to himself in confidence.
Cass Baumer: And what makes you think you have what it takes to beat eke Reed, huh? He sure did make you look nothing more than scrap metal lately if you ask me.
Felix Vialpando: Well good thing nobody is freaking asking you! I'm better than Zeke in every way possible! The first time we faced each other was a fluke! Pure luck! He's not gonna be so fortunate this go around. I have my notes primed and ready for me to beat him! He doesn't have what it takes! But me? I have every tool imaginable. I'm gonna become thee champion of this company, Cass. Just you and these piece of used maxi pads wait.
Felix storms off and Cass just rolls her eyes and walks the opposite direction.
MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH
Helena Noir vs Jakob Alexander
wrote:
Clearly Helena Noir hasnt forgotten what Jakob Alexander tried to pull at Strange Bedfellows, as she attacks relentlessly as soon as the bell rings! Jakob covers up as best he can as she blasts him with a pair of fast roundhouse kicks! He reels back but recovers enough to take control of the match for a few minutes after an Exploder suplex gets him space and a moment to strategize! Getting his bearings he rips Helena up off the mat and sets her up for a huge showy Falling Side Slam, and after this hits he moves to apply an arm-trap triangle choke to complete his AfterShock, but the boozily named maneuver fails as Helena escapes after a wild eye rake! She rolls to her feet and as Jakob sits up she flattens him with a Leg Lariat! She quickly goes for a triangle choke but Alexanders experience lets him slip the hold before she can torque it in. He elbows her repeatedly in the face and she reels up to her feet, clutching her jaw.
A few near falls follow this sequence for both wrestlers, neither one gaining much ground until Jakob sends Helena off with a 360 Irish whip to the far ropes! On the rebound he catches her with a Super Kick that drops her to the mat! She rolls to the ropes and pulls herself up but Alexander is there with a fast schoolboy roll up! The referee slides in to count as the fans boo, but at the last second the referee waves off the pin as he spies Jakob with his feet on the second rope for leverage! That he has a handful of Helenas gear also comes to light as he releases and pops up to his feet to argue with the official, but as he does so Helena comes up off the mat with a righteously pissed off look on her face, she surprises him with a Cradle DDT that floats right into a guillotine choke! The Fondu Au Noir is locked in tight, and while Jakob struggles as the ropes are just so close, in the end he has no choice and he taps out!
WINNER: Helena Noir by Submission @ 9:12
The bell rings, and the crowd explodes in cheers as the referee raises Helenas arm in victory. She gives one last look of disdain to Jakob Alexander and wipes her feet on the ring, almost on his face. As he rolls out of the ring, Helena asks for a microphone and begins pacing the ring back and forth.
Helena Noir: They say third times a charm Well,, not if your name is Jakob Alexander apparently, and surely not if you are facing Helena Noir. That guy
She points her finger to her opponent, whos still sorrowfully making his way up the ramp, sore and defeated.
Helena Noir: ... He never stood a chance. I told him so many times, since our first encounter, but he never believed it. He kept trying, and trying, always with the same outcome. Now, I understand some of you may think his dedication was commendable, but if you ask me It was rather annoying. I saw my first title shot getting blown up by his stubbornness, I was forced to team with him and when, just like I said, he tried to jump on my back, I still nailed him. Just like tonight, when I forced him to tap out. Hopefully this time he learned the lesson.
She winks in his direction, right before he disappears backstage.
Helena Noir: I planned spend my first month in Liberty Pro by proving myself against the best talents in this company. Instead I was stuck babysitting a once was, who tried to relaunch his career at my expenses. Too bad for him it ended up being his swan song But hey, he cant really say I didnt warn him.
She pauses for a moment, cracking a smile.
Helena Noir: Anyway, its time for me to move on to better and bigger things. I proved i can go toe to toe with Ashleigh Powell, and I wouldnt mind stepping once again in the ring with her, this time without anyone ruining it.
A round of cheers rises from the fans.
Helena Noir: And it seems youd like it too. Hey, you heard that mister Callaghan? I hope you are taking notes Or maybe, I dont know, I could just step up and take my shot at The Society.
Once again the fans show their enthusiasm with a huge pop.
Helena Noir: I never hid my feelings towards them. I never hid the fact that I would love to shut Seth or Beckys mouth. And you can be damn sure that, one day soon, I will. They say that Rome wasnt built in a day, and that all good things to those who wait. I have a lot of patience, and Im in no rush on my way to the top. Step by step, one opponent after the other I can only hope, for me and for this fans, my next steps will be a bit more challenging.
As Noir by Shandon hits, Helena rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp.
BACKSTAGE
*Vitor Mata sits patently in a locker room wearing his ring gear, head down, and looking very ready for his Anarchy Championship match tonight. More importantly he looks forward to finally shutting up Warren Corbett, and by proxy the rest of The Society.*
Tonight Tonight I will cause Warren Corbett to feel a sea of regret.
*Vitor utter this single sentence with confidence and a dash of vitriol. He looks up, his dark brown eye making total contact with the camera. Vitor continues to address Warren Corbett as well as the LPW fans in his deep voice with commanding confidence*
For the past month or so, The Society has resorted to childish tactics including attacking me before a match where my oppenent was none of the six of them. This has lead me to conclued that they are afraid of me. All of them saw what I did to their patriarch, Becky, and figured out what the should have known from the beginning. They figured out how much of a threat I am. The part that I find I find the most interesting is the way they try to manipulate and justify everything. They say that they have made me a star I dont think Ive heard such a fabrication ever.
*Vitor sits back in his chair very comfortable, tilts his head up and chuckles*
Im a star already, none of you made me. If anything all of you have been temporary hindrances, I say temporary because I know Ill barely have to deal with all six of you after my victory tonight. Im also antiapating a Melissa Reeves victory. Ending an unlikely and undeserving reign of ignorance. Speaking of reigns, When I beat Warren later, I will single -handedly usher in an era of greatness as the third person to hold the Anarchy Championship. An era of Portugese brilliance. I promise all of you, especially you Nathan Callaghan. That I will make this championship more presigous than the Liberty Championship by the time my reign is over. Which will set up even more Portugese brilliance when I hold the Liberty Championship, That translates very very well into Mr. Callaghans favorite language Ratings.
*Vitor does a mini bow in his chair*
"Warren, Till we meet later tonight where you will be the first to bleed.
*Vitor laughs as the video feed fades to black, and the phrase Vitória para mim, vitória por Portugal appears on the screen in white before the video officially ends.*
MATCH SIX: FIRST BLOOD MATCH FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
Vitor Mata vs Warren Corbett
wrote:
The match between Vitor and Warren started with the two circling around each other. The moment Vitor moved towards Warren, he slid out of the ring. Vitor wasted no time as he sprinted towards the ropes and leaped over them, hitting Warren with a plancha. Vitor then went under the ring and pulled out a chair. Vitor smacked Warren over the back with it as he tried to get up. Vitor then pulled a table from under the ring. Vitor began to set the table up and this gave Warren time to get up. Vitor finished setting up the table and when he turned around, he was met by a big boot from the the Corbett.
Warren picked Vitor up and set him down onto the table before he got up onto the apron and climbed up the turnbuckle. Warren leaped off of the table and crashed right through it and onto Vitor. The two were down and out for quite sometime before Warren got up to his feet. Warren picked Vitor up and set him up for a powerbomb. Warren lifted him up and Vitor countered it into a thunderous DDT. The two lay down on the outside before Vitor got up first. Mata picked up Warrren but Corbett began to counter Mata by throwing elbow shots into his gut but Vitor came back and hit him with an enziguri. Warren dropped to his knees and Vitor hit him with a hurricanrana driver. Warren grabbed onto his head and the referee checked for blood but there was none.
The fight between Vitor and Warren had moved closer to the announcer table so Vitor began to dismantle the top to use it against Warren. When Vitor bent down to pick up Warren, he thumbed Mata in the eye. Warren got to his feet and grabbed one of the monitors from the announcer table and slammed it into Vitors head, knocking him back and out, sending him lying down onto the announcer table. The referee checked Vitor for blood but there was none. Warren got up on the announcers table and picked Vitor up before driving him down into it with a hard DDT, hitting Vitors head down head first into the table before it broke everywhere. The referee checked Mata again for blood but once again, there was none.
The two lie there for a moment before Warren got up to his feet first. He went to the ring before he grabbed a barbed wire 2X4 from under it. Warren waited for Vitor to get up and when he did, he swung the 2X4 at Matas head but Vitor ducked it. Vitor then ran into the ring to avoid the weapon. Warren slid into the ring to chase after Mata but Vitor took Warren out with a shotgun dropkick. Warren fell down and dropped the barbed wire 2X4. Corbett got up and went to grab the barbed wire 2X4 but Vitor snatched it away. Warren, who was on his knees, looked up at Vitor and tried to brace himself with his hands but Vitor swung the barbed wire 2X4 too quickly and connected with Warrens head. Blood trickled down Warrens forehead and the referee rang the bell as Vitor drew first blood, making him the winner.
WINNER and NEW ANARCHY CHAMPION: Vitor Mata @ 16:32
The referee handed Vitor Mata the Anarchy Championship and he raised the belt in the air, declaring himself the greatest champion of Liberty Pro. The lights soon went out and there was confusion everywhere in the arena. The lights then turned back on and standing behind Vitor Mata was the one and only Coda, known for her brutality in NGW, where she is the Young Lions Champion. Coda, who had picked up the barbed wire 2X4 from the mat, was waiting for Vitor to turn around. When he did, Coda slammed the 2X4 straight into his gut. Mata dropped to his knees before Coda slammed the barbed wire 2X4 over and over onto Vitors back until he couldnt move anymore and it left his back a bloody mess. Warren of #TheSociety stumbled to his feet, holding his head and his eyes catch Coda. Coda tilts her head as her blank gaze meets Warrens eyes.
Before Warren could move to get away, Coda nailed him with Rhapsody (half nelson choke backstabber combination: A short standing half nelson choke that leads into a backstabber). Coda then grabbed the 2X4 again and slammed it onto Warrens back several times as well. Coda then grabbed the Anarchy Championship and lifted it in the air as she stood over Vitor and Warren, sending a message of what shes possibly after. Coda soon dropped the belt onto Warren before exiting the ring and walking away from the destruction she left behind.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens up to Tim Anderson standing before the camera with a ready smile.
Tim Anderson: What a show this has been so far! Im very excited to
: Ow! Ffffffppmmnnuh!
A stifled cry in pain from somewhere else suddenly interrupts. Tim raises an eyebrow at the camera.
Tim Anderson: What was that?
: Dammit, Ryan! Its not working!
The camera pans away to locate the source. As the interview crew rounds the corner, they spot Brendan Callaghan kneeling by the door and trying to jimmy the lock while referencing to a sheet of paper filled with hand-drawn diagrams on the floor next to him. The camera catches the words Nathan Callaghans office on the door. Alarmed, Tim rushes over to stop Brendan.
Tim Anderson: Hey, what are you doing??
Brendan drops the lockpick in surprise and looks up.
Brendan Callaghan: OH! Heyyyyy, Tim! Hows it going?
Keeping his gaze on Tim, Brendan discreetly scoops up the lockpick and hides it in his jacket pocket. He then gives a friendly nod to the interviewer.
Tim Anderson: ...Were you trying to break into Mr Callaghans office?
Brendan Callaghan: What?? Nah! I was just doing my lunges to warm up and, uh, took a break for a sec, ya know? Gotta keep that hip flexible! Know what Im saying?
Waggling his eyebrows, Brendan playfully nudges Tim in the ribs. Tim backs away with an awkward chuckle.
Tim Anderson: Then whats that?
Tim points to the paper with drawings and as the camera zooms in, you can see they are indeed sketches of how to pick a lock, looking almost like they were drawn by a child. The words If found, please return to Isabella Strickland can be seen scrawled at the top before Brendan kicks it away with his shoe, a sheepish grin on his face.
Brendan Callaghan: Nothiiiiiing... Hey listen, I know youre going around to get interviews tonight so why not fire away some questions at me about the huge gauntlet match huh? That Cass chick said it might be a new title. Is it true?
Tim Anderson: To be honest, Brendan, I have no idea. Thats not my job scope. But if it were a new championship title, how does that affect your strategy going into this match?
Brendan Callaghan: Oh you know me, always reaching for the stars!
Tim Anderson: Really? If I remember correctly, you dont care much for titles.
With a sigh, Brendan drops the act.
Brendan Callaghan: Fine, fine. Yeah youre right. If the prize is a new title, it doesnt matter any more or any less to me. But Ill bet these other goofs think so! I mean, its all everyone in Liberty ever talks about, ya know? Gimme dat title, I want it, its mine! Blah blah. All these high expectations and false hopes bleargh. Im telling ya, Tim. In life, you gotta choose your battles and you dont always need to fight like your life depends on it, ya know? A lot of the times, a match is just a match. And tonight, thats what it is. Im gonna go out there, wrestle, go home and wait for my check. Nothing else.
Tim Anderson: So you wouldnt care what the prize is, at all?
Brendan Callaghan: Nah, I care. The prize just determines how much money I get when I win. The more, the better!
Tim Anderson: Youre that confident youll win?
Brendan makes a face and chuckles.
Brendan Callaghan: Um, ya? I already beat Joey Barber once so. Isabella Strickland is way too ambitious for her own good, trying to reign supreme after just one bounce-back win, and she could just trip out on her own. And Izzi Grimes is apparently a fairy, who knew? But Im a Callaghan! I can wrestle with my eyes closed, man!
Tim Anderson: Uh huh, but didnt you get eliminated at CWC Worldwide because you couldnt see after throwing baby powder in your own eyes to frame Christine for disqualification?
Brendan bursts out laughing as he recalls it.
Brendan Callaghan: Yeah, yeah that I did. Definitely worth the pain, though! It was hilarious!
Tim Anderson: Will there be more tricks like that tonight, Brendan?
Brendan Callaghan: Nah, it was a bitch trying to rinse out the powder from my eyes. They were red for two days! So Im gonna go with less painful options, like what Ive been doing lately.
Tim Anderson: Ookay Well, who else do you think will show up for the gauntlet match? You know therell be a few surprise entrants, right?
Brendan shrugs.
Brendan Callaghan: Yeah, I dont know. I only work with what I do know so Im not worried at all about which secret wrestler will get involved. And like I said earlier, this match is just a match, dude. Im going in with zero expectations. Thats how you dont get disappointed whether you win or lose!
Brendan gives Tim his most confident smile but that only seems to confuse the interviewer more.
Tim Anderson: Alright then... Um, thanks for your time, Brendan. Good luck.
Brendan Callaghan: Thanks. You sure you dont know what the prize is, bro?
Brendan narrows his eyes at Tim who purses his lips as he shakes his head timidly.
Tim Anderson: No, Brendan, I really dont know what it is.
Brendan Callaghan: Cool, cool, cool Later then!
As Brendan takes his leave looking like hes searching for something, Tim scratches his head with uncertainty before the scene cuts away.
MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES MATCH FOR THE LIBERTY PRO #1 CONTENDERSHIP
Felix Vialpando vs Zeke Reed
wrote:
The #1 contender's match for the Liberty Championship started with Zeke and Felix exchanging words. They closed in and were now face to face. Zeke shoved Felix back and he struck him with a hard right hook. Vialpando came back with a hook of his own but his punch missed and Zeke nailed him knee with a kick, before elbowing Felix in the face and then the side of his head. Felix stumbled back in a daze for a moment, trying to give himself a moment to gather himself. Zeke charged but Felix countered and caught him with a powerful spinebuster. Felix then followed this up with a stomps to Zeke's hand and wrist, causing Reed to roll around clutching at the joint, trying to shake feeling back into it. Felix grinned and wasted little time before he locked Zeke into a wristlock. Vialpando then pulled Zeke into him and dropped him with a hard clothesline.
Felix pinned Zeke but Reed kicked out just after the two count. Felix went to pick Zeke up but Reed shoved him off before he followed it up with a dropkick that saw Vialpando dropped to the canvas, chest first. Reed then delivered several kicks to Felixs midsection, causing Vialpando to roll around, holding onto his stomach. Zeke dragged him up and looked for a suplex, but Felix blocked and broke free, landing an arm drag with their hands still locked together. Felix pulled Zeke up but he ducked down to one knee and swiped his leg out from under him, grounding him. Zeke looked to drop the elbow but Felix countered it and rolled backward. Zeke drove his knee into Felixs cut before lifting him up for a suplex but Felix countered and landed behind Reed. Felix grabbed Zeke and whipped him to the ropes. Zeke came back and went for a clothesline but Felix ducked it and hit the ropes on the other side. The two then met in the ring and took each other out with brutal clotheslines to each other.
Both competitors lied there for a moment before they both started to get to their feet. Zeke tried to land a punch of Felix but Felix sidestepped it before dropping Zeke with a Russian Leg Sweep. Felix grabbed Reeds ankle and dragged him into position before climbing the turnbuckle. Before he was even at the top, Zeke had already scrambled to his feet. Reed charged and caught Vialpando off balance, launching him with a massive belly-to-belly suplex, flinging him halfway across the ring. Neither stirred for a few moments. Zeke rolled to his side and then crawled over, hooking the leg, but it was only a two count before Vialpando kicked out. Zeke stood and tried to shift Felix into position for his Shot The Devil Dead (Vertical Suplex Stunner), but Vialpando shoved him forward and, as Zeke rebounded off the ropes, Felix caught him with a superman punch. he stood, holding his jaw, and staggered forward. Felix lifted him and nailed the Falcon Call (Omega Driver).Felix hooked the leg but- no! Zeke somehow kicked out right after the two count.
Felix couldn't believe it. He stood, pulling Zeke up by his hair, and lifted him for a second Falcon Call, but Zeke wriggled free and this time did catch him before he lifted Vialpando up and successfully hitting him with Shot The Devil Dead this time. Zeke hooked the leg but now it was Felix's turn to kick out just before three count. Zeke stood and tried to pull Felix up, but Felix grabbed hold of the referee's shirt. Felix shoved the referee back and, during the distraction, caught Zeke with a low blow! Felix got to his feet and lifted Zeke up, hitting him with another Falcon Call. Instead of pinning, Vialpando climbed the top rope before he leaped off and nailed Reed with Bird's Eye View (Double Rotation Moonsault). Felix then pinned Zeke and picked up the three count.
WINNER: Felix Vialpando @ 18:34
The referee raised Felixs hand in victory and he was announced as the new number one contender but Felix celebration didnt last long as he could hear Nathan Callaghan clear his throat at the top of the entrance way.
Nathan Callaghan: Felix Felix Felix You might have gotten one over on the referee but not me. You see, I wanted one of you to EARN a shot at the Liberty Championship and as far as I am concerned?
Nathan scoffed and shook his head.
Nathan Callaghan: You havent earned shit.
Felix is confused as he began to yell at Nathan.
Nathan Callaghan: That being said This thing between you and Zeke Reed isnt over and neither of you are the number one contender. No, you will fight again for the number one contendership a month from now at our next supershow. Enjoy.
Felix is livid as he stomps his feet while pointing and yelling at Nathan. Nathan simply smiled and shrugged before he pointed at Felix to look behind him. When he did, he was surprised by Zeke Reed, who dropped Felix with Shot The Devil Dead. Zeke then looked up at Nathan at the entrance way and shared a nod with the Liberty owner.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens on a dark lit room. Footsteps can be heard, and then a light is turned on. The brightness blinds the camera at first, but it soon finds its focus again. From the darkness behind the light speaks a voice, a familiar one at that...Melissa Reeves.
Melissa: So here we are, finally. Battle Symphony. Libertys next big supershow. The next chapter in our companys history. And tonight? Tonight I face Becky Balfour once more. But this time its just me and her. No Society. No Zeke. No battle royale. No triple threat. Just me. Her. Last woman standing.
Melissa moves forward just enough for her hands to be visible. She wraps tape around knuckle.
Melissa: I suppose normally, at this stage of the night, someone else in my position might unleash a grand list of reasons for why theyll win. But truth is that talk is cheap, and I didnt come here to talk about winning the gold. I came here to act on that.
She finishes taping around the knuckle, and moves down to her wrist.
Melissa: Becky has defended her title staunchly thus far. Whether you agree with her methods or not, shes had the results. But has Becky ever stepped into a match like this?
Chuckling a little, she continues taping up.
Melissa: I have. Im sure that my longer time fans will remember my early days. Days when I would fight in hardcore bouts, ladder matches, table, cage and, yes, last man standing on a regular basis. Back when I was reckless with my career and health, when I was less skilled and just out to make a name for myself. Now I stand here, having made that name. Ive grown my reputation through wrestling skill and technique, teamwork, dedication and an unwavering desire. I’ve done things the way I wanted to. But tonight? Tonight its all about going back to where I came from.
She switches hands, the wrist now tapes, and wraps her other knuckle.
Melissa: And that idea, that I was returning to my roots, really stuck with me all this week. See...for a long time now, Ive sought to suppress a part of myself. I wanted to achieve my goals without tapping into that unbridled rage, that darkness. But a match like this? Well, it leaves me with little choice. This isnt just a fight, its war. Its do or die, and therefore I must win by any means necessary.
An audible
, deep inhale is hard before Mel goes on.
Melissa: So why try to hide it anymore? Why deny it? No, no more games. See, people like Becky think that I cant stoop to their level They think that my kind nature, my will to do things right mean I cant fight dirty. And that honestly only shows their ignorance. Look up my early career, watch me in deathmatches and then tell me I cant.
A disgusted scoff escapes Mels mouth.
Melissa: Of course, ignorance is what Becky is all about. Truthfully, Im sick of Becky. Im sick of her Society. Im sick of being hounded by talentless hacks, leeches who are stuck to the ass of a woman who needs their devotion as validation for her existence...because, lets be honest, by herself shes a joke. Im sick of them thinking they run Liberty. Im sick of them always there, flapping their gums to speak whatevers in their empty heads. But most of all? Most of all Im sick of Becky being the one to represent us, because she is not worthy of it.
She takes a moment to consider her next words.
Melissa: And for weeks now Ive been beaten and battered. Outnumbered with no reinforcement from anyone on this roster. Not one person ever stood with me. Brendan? One match, sure, but where was he after that? No. This is something Ive got to do by myself. And you know what? For everything they threw at me, the numbers, the attacks, all the chatter - for all of it - these fucks still couldnt put me away. And now? Now its too late. Now its past the point of return. Beckys pushed and pushed, and congratulations, now Im not only going to beat you, but Im going to hurt you really...really bad. And I am going to enjoy doing it. Im going to enjoy it because its justified retribution. Every barbed word, every little thing youve done to me, every hit your idiot goons have delivered onto me, I will repay tenfold tonight. I sure hope you understand, Becky, that this isnt a match. This is your judgement, and you will be found wanting.
With both hands taped, she cracks her knuckles.
Melissa: And now the time for talk is at an end. Theres only one thing left to do. I know what must be done, and I know exactly how I will do it. In fact I brought along an old friend, especially for it.
She steps forward, into the light. Her appearance is drastically different than usual. Alongside the taped fists, she is wearing an all black outfit. Around her eyes and down her face is heavy red makeup, lined with black periodically. She peers into the camera directly, her eyes cold and her face unforgiving.
Melissa: An old friend that I havent unleashed in a long, long time...Reaver. Time for war, Becky. Time for me to claim that Liberty Championship.
With that said, she grabs the camera and pushes it aside. As it lands on the ground, it catches a glimpse of her boots as she walks away, back into the darkness, ending the scene.
MATCH EIGHT: GAUNTLET MATCH FOR A SPECIAL PRIZE
Brendan Callaghan, Izzi Grimes, Joey Barber, Isabella Strickland, & many more.
wrote:
The gauntlet match started with Isla Carter in the middle of the ring as the first entrant. A few moments passed when Jacob Alvarez made his way down to the ring, a surprise entrant from FORCE Pro, someone Isla knew well, as she once competed at FORCE Pro. The bell rang and Isla charged Jacob and went for a clothesline but Jacob ducked it. Isla bounced off the ropes again and when she came back, she took Jacob down with a crossbody. She pinned but only got a two count. The two fought back and forth with Isla leading in the fight until she tried to put Alvarez in a chokehold but he lifted her up and dropped her with a backbody drop. Jacob picked Isla up and dropped her with a running bulldog. Alvarez pinned Carter and he eliminated her as she kicked out right after the three count.
ELIMINATED: Isla Carter by pinfall @ 3:42
Next up was the cousin of Gavin Grimes, Izzi Grimes, who had impressed the Liberty Pro crowds since her career debut. She made it to the ring and Jacob went to grab her but Izzi ducked his grasp before hitting the ropes. Jacob turned and Izzi took him down with a shotgun dropkick. Izzi climbed the turnbuckle and when he got to his feet, Izzi leaped off and hit him with a crossbody but Jacob counter the move and turned it into a pin of his own. Izzi managed to kick out right before the three count. Jacob grabbed Izzi by her head and went for his patented running bulldog once again but as he started his run, Izzi threw him off of her. Jacob then got up to his feet and Izzi nailed him with When the Beat Drops (Jumping Reverse STO). Izzi pinned Jacob Alvarez and picked up the three count, eliminating the FORCE Pro representative.
ELIMINATED: Jacob Alvarez by pinfall @ 8:55
The next entrant was Joey Barber and this marked the first time the match had two Liberty Pro competitors at the same time. Joey dropped Izzi with a clothesline before he picked her up and nailed a suplex on her. He then climbed the turnbuckle and when Izzi got to her feet, he leaped off but she countered him and nailed him with a superkick. Izzi then put Joey in the Kiss Goodnight (Kondo Clutch). Joey struggled for the ropes but he couldnt make it and he eventually gave up and tapped out. Izzi let go of Joey after eliminating him and waited for her next foe.
ELIMINATED: Joey Barber by submission @ 13:22
The next person to hit the ring was Isabella Strickland, the woman who gave Izzi Grimes her first loss in a highly contested battle a few weeks ago. The two locked up and the much larger Strickland shoved Grimes to the canvas. Izzi got up quick and she charged Strickland. Isabella tried to hit Izzi with a big boot but Izzi ducked under it and hit the ropes. Isabella turned around and Izzi hit her with a dropkick, making her stumble back. Izzi hit a second drop kick to Isabellas knee, dropping the larger woman down to one knee. Izzi then took Isabella down with a slingblade before pinning Isabella but she kicked out right after the two count. When Isabella got up, Izzi went for her When The Beat Drops (Jumping Reverse STO) but Isabella caught her in the air and dropped her with a sidewalk slam. Isabella picked Izzi up and whipped her to the ropes before she charged her and nailed Izzi with Stricken (Running Corner Bicycle Knee). Isabella pinned Izzi and got the three count, eliminating her.
ELIMINATED: Izzi Grimes by pinfall @ 19:37
Isabella picked Izzi up and shook her hand and gave her a nod before Izzi left the ring. Next up was TJ Lisch, representing Empire Pro Wrestling. Lisch got in the ring and locked up with Isabella and she ended up driving her knee into his gut before whipping him into the turnbuckle. Isabella charged TJ Lisch and hit him with Stricken (Running Corner Bicycle Knee). Isabella pinned TJ and got the three count, eliminating him in record time so far.
ELIMINATED: TJ Lisch by pinfall @ 22:02
Next up was Larclan, who had competed in a tag team match earlier and lost. Larclan was quickly on the offensive as he tackled Isabella down by surprise. He hit a few shots on Isabella but she quickly countered and rolled over to where she was now on top of Larclan. Isabella drove a half dozen forearm smashes into Larclans face before she got up on her feet. She picked Larclan up and dropped him with Lady Death (Vertical Suplex Piledriver). Isabella pinned Larclan got another three count, showing off her dominance so far in the match.
ELIMINATED: Larclan by pinfall @ 26:08
The next entrant was a surprise entrant as it appeared to be Zooey West-Jaa, former #FSociety competitor and the sister of former CWC Junior Heavyweight Champion, Kyle West-Jaa, making her debut. Zooey and Isabella met face to face in the ring and had a stare off before Isabella hit Zooey with a right hook. Zooey stumbled back before she countered and hit Isabella with a roundhouse kick. When Strickland got to her feet, Zooey went for S̄eụ̄x tea (Tiger Feint Kick) but it was too early and Strickland dodged it. Zooey tried to kick Isabella but Strickland got West-Jaas foot. Isabella then dropped Zooey with a hard clothesline. Strickland pinned but Zooey kicked out after the two count. Isabella picked Zooey up and dropped her with a snap suplex. She picked Zooey up a second time and then nailed her with a German suplex that was bridged into a pin. The referee counted up to two but Zooey, who seemed to have some slight rust, kicked out after two.
Isabella picked Zooey up and whipped her to the ropes and when Zooey came back, Isabella dropped her with a big boot. Strickland picked the dazed Zooey up and hit her with one of her signature moves, Falling Ashes (Sheerdrop Exploder). Isy pinned Zooey but Zooey got her foot on the ropes. Isabella looked clearly frustrated but she stayed on the offensive and picked Zooey up before whipping her into the corner. Isabella then charged forward, going for Stricken but Zooey rolled out of the way. When Isabella turned, Zooey dropped her with S̄eụ̄x tea (Tiger Feint Kick). Isabella dropped to the canvas and Zooey made the cover and picked up the three count, eliminating the impressive Isabella Strickland.
ELIMINATED: Isabella Strickland by pinfall @ 33:45
The ninth entrant to the match was Tom Lobiondo of Red State Revolver. He entered the ring and tried to take advantage of Zooey West-Jaa, who was still catching her breath. Tom hit her with several right and left jabs to the stomach, causing Zooey to back up but she soon countered back with several side kicks to Toms midsection. Zooey went for a spinning heel kick but Tom caught Zooeys foot and then hit her with a brutal clothesline. He lifted Zooey up and set her up for a powerbomb. Lobiondo lifted Zooey up onto his shoulders and as soon as it looked like he was going to drop the Muay Thai expert down on her back but she held onto Tom and soon countered and put him in the Xū̀ tāy (Bridging Arm Triangle Chokehold). Tom tried to reach for the ropes but he soon tapped out.
ELIMINATED: Tom Lobiondo by submission @ 39:04
Zooey leaned back into the corner, trying to catch her breath as Alekz Berzin made her way down to the ring, representing Japan: Legacy. As soon as Alekz slid into the ring, Zooey charged after her and before she could even get up, she took her down with a Crane Kick. Zooey waited for Alekz to get up to her feet patiently and she she did, Zooey took her down with S̄eụ̄x tea (Tiger Feint Kick). Zooey pinned Alekz and picked up the three count.
ELIMINATED: Alekz Berzin by pinfall @ 41:13
The next man up was John Reed of Slaughterhouse Pro. He circled the ring, eyeing Zooey after he saw what she did to Alekz earlier. John then quickly slid in and Zooey tried to stomp on him but he rolled out of the way. When he got to his feet, he had Zooeys Crane Kick scouted and caught her before dropping her with a swinging sidewalk slam. The wiley hardcore veteran picked Zooey up and he dropped her with a double arm DDT. He pinned her but she kicked out after two. A frustrated John Reed stomped onto Zooeys chest a few times before he picked her up and set her up for his jumping piledriver finisher. Zooey had a burst of strength and she flipped John Reed over the ropes. He crashed on the outside and the referee started to count him out. A frustrated Reed showed his Slaughterhouse tendencies when he pulled a steel chair out from under the ring. Zooeys eyes widened as she stepped back from the ropes.
John Reed then slid into the ring with the chair but the referee cut him off as he moved towards Zooey. John pushes the referee down onto his ass and when he does, Zooey charged him and nailed an enziguri right into the chair, which then forced the chair right into Johns face. The referee got to his feet and looked at Zooey and then the chair. He glanced back at Zooey before shrugging his shoulders. Zooey kicked the chair out of the ring and pinned John Reed and got the three count, eliminating the Slaughterhouse competitor.
ELIMINATED: John Reed by pinfall @ 46:51
Next up was Benjamin Haskell, representing REBELLION Pro. He made his way to the ring quickly and slid in before Zooey could even make a move. Zooey tried to clothesline Benjamin but he ducked it and hit the ropes. When he came back, he dropped Zooey with a flying clothesline. She got up and Haskell hit the ropes again before nailing a second flying clothesline. He then picked Zooey up and whipped her into the turnbuckle and nailed her with a flying splash into the corner, which he then turned into a running bulldog. Haskell pinned West-Jaa but she kicked out after two. He picked Zooey up and whipped her into the corner again and he charged once more, nailing Densmore Sidekick (Running arched big boot to a cornered opponent). Zooey dropped down and Benjamin got another pin but once again, West-Jaa kicked out after two.
Haskell sighed in disappointment before he picked Zooey up. He set her up for a piledriver but she wiggled free. Haskell then tried to catch her with a rolling elbow but Zooey grabbed Haskells arm and pulled him down into the Xū̀ tāy (Bridging Arm Triangle Chokehold). Haskell struggled and squirmed as he tried to reach the ropes but he finally gave in and had to tap out and Zooey let go of the hold.
ELIMINATED: Benjamin Haskell by submission @ 52:34
Zooey laid down on the canvas, clearly exhausted. At the sound of Brendan Callaghans music, Zooey used the ropes to get up on her feet. She looked at the entrance way, waiting for the eldest Callaghan son to make his way down to the ring but hes nowhere to be seen. The fans start to go wild, which causes Zooey to turn around and when she does, shes met by Brendan, who had came through the crowd and stood up on the apron behind her. Zooey had no time or energy to counter Brendan, who had got up on the apron and then leaped up off of the ropes before he nailed Zooey with Awesome As Fuck Kapow (Springboard forearm smash). Zooey was down and out and Brendan pinned her for the three count, eliminating Zooey West-Jaa, who has had the strongest showing in the gauntlet so far. Zooey rolled out of the ring and shook her head as she looked at Brendan before she let out a laugh in disbelief.
ELIMINATED: Zooey West-Jaa by pinfall @ 55:06
Brendan smiled and waved at Zooey as but his smile was soon washed away when his brother, Sean Callaghan of Vengeance Pro, appeared at the top of the entrance way. Brendan started to freak out, waving his hands at Sean to go away. Sean charged down to the ring and slid in and Brendan slid out, wanting no part of his younger brother after some of the things the two had went through the last few months. Sean got out of the ring and chased Brendan, who ran around the ring before sliding in. Sean slid in after Brendan and when he did, Brendan rolled Sean up with a schoolboy but he also put his feet up on the bottom rope, using them as leverage. Brendan picked up the three count and eliminated Sean as the referee hadnt seen the feet on the ropes. Sean got up and got in Brendans face and called him a cheater but his older brother simply smirked and shrugged his shoulders. Sean rolled his eyes before rolling out of the ring and walking away.
ELIMINATED: Sean Callaghan by pinfall @ 57:59
The ring announcer announced that the fifteenth entrance coming up is the last entrant in the Liberty Pro gauntlet for a special prize. A few moments passed when Superhero by Falling In Reverse blared over the PA system and Brendans eyes widened as he knew exactly whos theme song this was. A few more moments passed when Ryan Callaghan of REBELLION Pro and Brendans brother and former tag partner, stepped out from the back. Ryan walked down the entrance way and then entered the ring. Ryan held his hand out for a high five and Brendan reluctantly gave him one. The two brothers, who could also be considered best friends, circled each other before Ryan shot in and grabbed Brendan from behind before nailing him with a German Suplex. Ryan then picked Brendan up and nailed him with a second German Suplex and then followed it up with a third.
Ryan then stepped back and waited in the corner for Brendan to get up. Once Brendan did, Ryan charged forward and leaped in the air, going for his Superman Punch finish but his older brother clearly had him scouted before dodging it. Brendan grabbed Seans arms and then nailed him with a full nelson bomb. Brendan pinned Ryan but he kicked out after two. Brendan exited the ring and stood on the apron, waiting for Ryan to get up. Once Ryan did, Brendan springboarded off of the ropes, going for his patented forearm smash but Ryan caught Brendan in midair and dropped him with a thunderous sitdown powerbomb that turned into a pin. The referee started the count and Brendan kicked out right after the two count.
Ryan got up and backed up into the corner again, waiting for Brendan to get up. Once Brendan got to his feet, Ryan charged and he leaped in the air once more and this time he did hit South Boston Punch (Superman Punch). Ryan pinned Brendan and just before the three count, Brendan managed to get his shoulder up. Ryan looked around in disbelief before he got back up to his feet and stepped back into the corner. Ryan waited for Brendan to get up once more and when he did, Ryan charged and went for a second superman punch but Brendan dodged it before he hit Ryan with Southie Glory (Stalling falling chokebomb with Tongan death grip pin). The referee started the count but right before the three count, Ryan got his foot up on the ropes, which stopped the count. Brendan got up to his feet and celebrated as if he won but the referee tried to get his attention and tell him about the foot.
Brendan didnt listen as he kept jumping around with his hands in the air. This gave Ryan time to get up to his feet and charge Brendan and he took him out with Clothesline From Southie (Clothesline From Hell). Ryan wasnt done though and he picked Brendan up and dropped him with The Curse of Boston (Modified lifting reverse STO AKA Baron Corbin's end of days). Ryan pinned Brendan again after giving him everything in his arsenal but at the very last moment possible, Brendan got his shoulder up. The fans started to go nuts and Ryan ran his hands through his hair in disbelief. Ryan got to his feet and walked around the ring before he backed up into the corner. Ryan was set to go for another superman punch but Brendan never got to his feet. Ryans brow furrowed as he looked at Brendan, who was not moving. Ryan walked up to Brendan and bent down to check on him but Brendan was playing possum the entire time and he rolled up his brother and pinned him for the three count.
ELIMINATED: Ryan Callaghan by pinfall @ 1:13:38
The bell rang and the referee raised Brendans hand in victory. Ryan got up to his feet and couldnt help but smile as he gave his older brother a hug. Ryan then raised Brendans hand in the air and pointed a finger at him. Ryan gave Brendan one last hug and a nod before exiting the ring and walking up the entrance way. Soon Nathan Callaghan appeared at the top of the entrance way with a microphone in hand and a briefcase in his other hand.
Nathan Callaghan: Brendan, I know you were wondering what the prize was for the winner of this match And well, there is surprise for you but no prize. Because you see, theres one last competitor that I added to this gauntlet match. This competitor is a starlet and shes the star of A Day In The Life Shes the one and only SCARLETT HIGHLAND!
Nathan stepped aside as if Scarlett was going to come out but she was nowhere to be found. The fans started to boo as Scarlett came through the crowd, just as Brendan did earlier, and she slid in the ring, unbeknownst to Brendan. When Brendan turned around, he is met by a charging Scarlett, who took him out with a hurricanrana pin. Scarlett was able to keep Brendan down for the three count, as he was exhausted from his encounter with Ryan earlier.
ELIMINATED: Brendan Callaghan by pinfall @ 1:17:49
Brendan looked around in shock as he couldnt believe he lost the match. Nathan had made his way down to the ring and he stepped up the ring steps before stepping through the ropes with the briefcase in hand. Scarlett got to her feet and she immediately ran to Nathan and wrapped her arms around him, giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. Brendan made a dry heaving motion before rolling his eyes.
Nathan Callaghan: Congratulations to your winner and the FIRST EVER Liberty Pro Trials Champion Scarlett Highland!
Nathan opens the briefcase and hands the LPW Trials Championship to Scarlett, who holds it up in the air and does a little dance.
Nathan Callaghan: I know youre wondering what this belt means exactly, and well, I think the Trials name tells it all, especially considering this gauntlet match was a trying match, especially for Scarlett here. The stipulation for this belt? It will be defended in matches that will require conditioning and the ability to outlast your opponent. It will be defended in I Quit matches, in Iron Man matches and when its just a regular match, there will be a fifteen minute time limit. If you cant beat the champion, which is currently Scarlett, in fifteen minutes, then you not only dont get the belt but you get a loss as well and the champion gets the victory.
Brendan walked over to his dad and grabbed the microphone.
Brendan Callaghan: This is bull! You keep playing favorites with Scarlett, who you might be Ugh, I cant even say it! Gross!
Scarlett charged Brendan and knocked him out with her Trials Championship. She then stood over him and held the belt up. Nathan shrugged before he walked over to the ropes and sat down on the middle rope to give Scarlett an easier exit.

Shortly after the gauntlet has ended, the cameras catch Liberty Pros newest Signing Zooey West-Jaa backstage, still in her ring gear she turns the corner with a quick step and throws her arms around the person waiting just outside her locker room with a relieved but happy sounding sigh. As his hand drops to the small of her back releasing the embrace she takes a half step back and lets out another sigh, clearly just starting to relax.
Johnny Sykes: How dyou feel?
A wide smile crosses her face as she nods, running a hand over her head to smooth down her hair as she does.
Zooey West-Jaa: Amazing, actually! I know I didnt win it or anything but
She trails off with another smile and he nods along with what she says, a smile on his own face.
Zooey West-Jaa: But I did it Sykes, I got back out there and I didnt fall flat on my face; all that worry all those anxieties theyre gone now, I know the ring is where I belong. Im so bloody happy right now, so glad I decided to do this.
She nods to him with a smaller smile this time.
Zooey West-Jaa: And Im glad I took that risk and asked you to come with me and support me tonight. Youve been amazing, I dont think it woulda been quite the same without you.
She bumps her shoulder to his with a half laugh, pulling back again almost immediately.
Zooey West-Jaa: I finally feel like Im back and I know Kyle would be proud of me too.
Johnny smiles and rests an arm around her shoulders, leading her to her locker room door as he speaks.
Johnny Sykes: Well, for what it's worth Im proud of you too.
With that Zooey disappears inside her locker room to change as Sykes closes the door behind her and patiently waits on the outside.
HEADLINE: TABLES MATCH FOR THE GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Jacob Daniels vs Ashleigh Powell
wrote:
As the bell sounds, the two competitors take a brief moment to look at the tables outside of the ring. Out of the gate, Jacob Daniels charges at Ashleigh Powell and clotheslines her right outside. Daniels follows out and lifts Powell up, throwing her into the steel steps. Right away, Ashleigh finds herself having to fight against the larger Jacob. He circles around and lifts her back up, slamming her face first into the ring apron. Daniels lifts her up, trying to drop her on the apron, but Powell manages to float over and land behind him for a chop block.
She manages to slow down Jacob for a moment to grab one of the tables and slide it into the ring. Ashleigh goes to slide in, but Jacob is back on his feet and he grabs Powells boot, pulling her back out, and decking her with a lariat. Daniels starts putting the boots to Powell and while the referee doesnt like it; theres nothing that can be done. Backing away, Jacob waits for Ashleigh to get back on her feet and as soon as she does, he closes the gap with a Superman punch!
Daniels lifts Powell up and throws her into the ring. Climbing in, Jacob gets rocked with a kick right up to the face and it keeps him outside. Ashleigh picks up the table that Jacob slid in and she starts to set it up. But as soon as she does, Daniels is right back in the ring and on the attack as he clubs Powell from behind. He whips her into the ropes and hits his high impact spinebuster. A couple of well placed boots keeps Powell down on the mat and Daniels looks over at the table set up.
Picking Ashleigh up, Jacob throws her into the corner. Daniels has been dominant all throughout the match and Powell is reeling as Jacob lifts her up to the top turnbuckle. He turns back and pulls the table over to their corner before climbing up after Ashleigh. Daniels hooks her in for a superplex, but Powell throws a couple of punches at his side. They stop him for a moment, but an elbow strike stops Ashleigh. He starts to pull her in for another suplex attempt and it looks like hes going to hit it, but Powell is trying to fight again.
Jacob is trying to hold on and get the suplex, but Ashleigh isnt letting it happen. All the fighting is causing Daniels to struggle with his feet on the ropes, but he tries one more time. Jacob lifts Ashleigh up, but she gets back down and he slips off the ropes! Daniels goes crashing down through the table! And Powell looks down in disbelief as the bell sounds for the Gotham Champion!
WINNER and STILL GOTHAM CHAMPION: ASHLEIGH POWELL @ 14:51

Becky Balfour was seated on the floor in a corner of a hallway with her Liberty Championship in her lap.
Becky Balfour: Since this company opened it's doors, there has been one constant, #TheSociety. My challengers? They have come and gone, but here I am. The forgotten is now unforgettable. The mess story is now the success story. The one you didn't have the eyes to stomach is now the one you can't look away from. Most of it...is because of this.
Becky tapped her hand against the faceplate of the Liberty championship as her eyes moved down to it.
Becky Balfour: Tonight, I put it on the line once again. Anyone can see that Nathan Callaghan has a hard on for making me defend my title, this makes what, the fourth time in as many shows? Name another champion in all of the CWC who is as active with their territory's top championship as I am...you can't do it.
Balfour sneered.
Becky Balfour: Do you kno what else you can't do? Name someone who has gotten more opportunities and failed than Melissa Reeves. For some reason, she has been at my heels from day one, and even after failing in the battle royal, and then failing in the triple threat match, she's still given chance after chance. Tonight, when I'm the last woman standing, there will be no reason for another match for Melissa, and no doubt that I'm the champion that this company needs.
Becky slowly stood to her feet, holding the championship in her right hand.
Becky Balfour: No losses in over a year for Melissa in one on one matches, and I get to be the one to change that. Tonight, I won't need The Society, or Followers, or anyone else, tonight, I'm taking the pain I've felt my entire life, and I'm transferring it to you, Reeves. Feel...my...pain.
Fall at my feet.
Fuck off once and for all.
Becky gave the camera the middle finger before pushing past the camera operator and walking down the hallway, just moments away from the biggest championship defense of her career.
MAIN EVENT: LAST WOMAN STANDING MATCH FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Becky Balfour vs Melissa Reeves
wrote:
The Last Woman Standing match between Becky and Melissa for the Liberty Championship began with the two locking up. Melissa overpowered Becky and knocked her down. Becky rolled out of the ring and begin to strut around it as Melissa yelled for her to get in and the fans booed Becky. Becky began to taunt Melissa before Melissa finally rolled out of the ring and Becky ran away. Melissa chased Becky until Becky slid into the ring. Melissa got up onto the apron and Becky knocked her down with a brutal forearm smash right into her face. Becky then bounced off of the ropes and did a suicide dive through the ropes and landed on Melissa, taking her down. Becky then grabbed a chair from under the ring and she began to pummel Melissa with it over and over onto her back. Becky then dropped the chair and picked Melissa up before she DDTd her on it. Becky backed off Melissa and the referee started the ten count. At the count of eight, Melissa got to her feet. Becky threw her knee into Melissas midsection before throwing her into the ring.
Becky slid into the ring and picked Melissa up and Melissa countered her by whipping her to the ropes. Becky bounced off of them and Melissa lifted Becky in the air but Becky wrapped her legs around Melissas head and caught her with a hurricanrana driver. The referee started another count but Melissa began to get to her feet at the five count. Becky hit the top rope and climbed up it. Becky went for a diving clothesline but Melissa countered with a superkick to Beckys jaw. Becky stumbled back up to her feet and Melissa charged, hitting her with a running knee strike. Becky dropped and the referee counted her down. The count got to five before Becky got up. Melissa didnt waste any time before she grabbed Becky and whipped her hard into the corner and Becky collided into it chest first. Melissa charged and leaped up, hitting Becky with a Facial Deconstructor (codebreaker).
The referee started another count and Becky got up when the number hit six. Melissa grabbed Becky again, trying her best to stay on the offensive. Melissa whipped Becky into the ropes and Becky bounced off of them. Melissa attempted to hit Becky with a discus clothesline but Becky ducked under it. Becky then springboarded off of the ropes and hit Melissa with a twisting flying forearm smash. Becky let the referee count to three but Mel started to stir, which caused Becky to kick Melissa in the gut. Balfour then lifted Reeves up but Reeves countered with an elbow straight to Beckys midsection. Melissa whipped Becky off the ropes and when Becky came back, Melissa popped Becky up in air as if she was going for a pop up powerbomb but as Becky came down, she grabbed Melissa by her head and dropped her with a hanging DDT. Becky watched the referee make the count but at the seven count, Melissa got to her feet. Becky delivered a hard enziguri to Melissa, knocking her down. Becky got to her feet and begin to stomp Melissa over and over again in anger. Becky then climbed the top ropes and waited for Melissa to get up.
Once Melissa got to her feet, Becky leaped off of the top rope and Melissa countered and caught Becky with a Facial Deconstructor in midair. The fans chanted HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! As Melissa and Becky both laid on the canvas. The referee counted to five and Melissa got up, even though she was exhausted. The referee kept counting as Becky was still on the canvas, looking to be completely out of it. The count reached nine before Becky got back to her feet. Melissa charged Becky, who was holding herself up with the ropes, and Becky pulled the ropes down and Melissa went flying over. Becky springboarded over the ropes and landed on Melissa as she got to her feet and she took Melissa out. The two laid out for a moment before Becky started to stir first. Becky pulled a table out from under the ring and set it up. She picked Melissa up and then set her down on the table. Becky then climbed the turnbuckle and looked down at Melissa with a smirk. Becky soon leaped off and nailed Melissa with a frog splash through the table. Becky would soon get up to her feet and raised her hands in the air with a smirk as the referee started his count. Melissa wasnt moving until the seven count and she was just able to get to her feet at the nine count.
A livid Becky Balfour grabbed Melissa and DDTd her on the mat outside. Becky then picked Melissa up and whipped her straight into the steel steps, knocking the steps over as Melissa laid on the ground in a heap, completely out of it. Becky then went under the ring and she pulled out a trash can. She then pulled out a box of lighter fluid from the trash can. Becky set it down before picking up the trash can and slamming it down on Melissa, who had began to stir. Becky grabbed the lighter fluid once again and she began to pour it all over Melissas shirt, soaking her in it. Becky then pulled out metal case that she opened and she pulled a cigarette out of it. She put the cigarette in her mouth before she pulled a lighter out from her pocket. Becky lit the cigarette and took a few drags from it with a devious look on her face.
Becky took the cigarette out of her mouth and flicked it at Melissa but Melissa had gathered her senses and she picked up the dented trash can, using it to block the cigarette and preventing herself from catching fire. Melissa got up to her feet and took the shirt that had been soaked in gasoline off and threw it to the ground, leaving only her bra on her upper body. Mel was staring daggers into Becky, giving her an intense look that Becky nor anyone else in Liberty Pro have ever seen from Melissa. Beckys eyes widened as she knew she was in trouble. Becky tried to run away but Melissa caught her and tackled her down. Reeves began to throw several forearm smashes into Beckys face before she got up off of Becky and grabbed a chair from under the ring. Melissa slammed the chair onto Beckys back over and over again, denting it in half before throwing it down. Becky was completely beat down as the referee began his count to ten.
Melissa walked away before pulling a bat from elsewhere under the ring. Melissa grabbed the shirt soaked in lighter fluid and wrapped it tightly around the bat before she looked down at the cigarette on the ground that was still lit. Melissa pointed the bat down to the cigarette before touching it and it only took a few seconds before the shirt wrapped around the bat was engulfed in flames. Reeves looked down at the bat before looking over at Becky, who picked herself up using the side of the ring just before the ten count. When Reeves moved towards Becky, Seth Lawless ran down to the ring but Melissa saw him and swung the bat right into his gut, taking him out. Elodie then followed next and Melissa kicked her in the gut before driving the flaming bat into her back. Elodie screamed before she dropped to the ground. Havyn Black and Warren Corbett were now both at the top of the entrance way but before they could make their way down to the ring, Ashleigh Powell and Helena Noir both appeared from behind with chairs. Ashleigh slammed her chair into Warren Corbetts back as Noir did the same thing to Havyn, knocking her out.
Reeves looked up at her two friends and gave them a nod but her complexion was still the same as earlier, as she had evil intentions on her mind. Reeves walked towards Becky, who saw Melissa with the baseball bat in flames. Becky, wide-eyed now, started to walking towards the entrance ramp but she saw Ashleigh and Helena waiting there. Becky turned around and she was by Melissa, who had swung the flaming bat straight into Beckys gut. Becky dropped to the ground on her knees before Mel drove the bat into Beckys back. Reeves held the bat onto Beckys back and it soon set Balfours shirt on fire. Becky laid there for a moment before she could feel the heat burning her and she began to roll around as she screamed. The fire eventually went out and Melissa tossed the bat down to the side as the referee counted Becky down. The count reached ten and the bell rang before Melissa was announced the winner and new Liberty Champion.
WINNER and NEW LIBERTY CHAMPION: Melissa Reeves @ 45:52
Melissa Reeves stood over Becky Balfour with a blank look on her face, its obvious the new champion had just went to a different place to become the Liberty Champion. The referee soon grabbed Melissas hand and holds it in the air before handing her the Liberty Championship. Melissa finally snapped out of it before looking down at the belt. A smile cracked over Melissas face before she held the belt up and the fans cheered. The fans cheers became even louder at the sight of Gavin Grimes who stood at the top of the entrance way. Melissa looked up and saw Gavin, who motioned at his waist, telling her he would become the Undisputed Vengeance Champion on Monday at Vengeance Pro. Melissa didnt say anything as she simply stared daggers at him before raising the Liberty Championship in the air and that was the last thing scene before the show went off the air.

Girls of Summer vs. Larclan & Isla Carter
