The camera cuts backstage just before the first match is about to take place, and Marcus Black is seen striding towards Gorilla position. He passes Stella who is getting a drink at the catering desk.
Stella Winters: Where are you going? Your match isn’t till later.
Marcus doesn’t stop moving as he replies.
Marcus Black: Just getting a closer look at the opening match. Should be a good one.
Stella shrugs as Marcus makes it through the curtain and the camera cuts back to ringside.

The show transitions to the backstage area where Emily Carter is standing by. Emily gives the camera a big wave and her trademark smile before beginning to speak.
Emily Carter: Oh hi, babes! Emily Carter here and man, last week didn't go the way that I wanted to. You know, I would love to have come out here today riding a three match winning streak. I would love to have come into this show with all the momentum. But that just wasn't the case, you know? On one hand, it's fine, I guess? Well, it's not really fine. I mean, you can't win them all, right? You're gonna lose sometime. Even the best lose every now and then. If it was just a simple loss, then I could accept that. If I was outwrestled, I could accept that. I'm far from an arrogant person, but I don't believe in my heart of hearts that I was outwrestled last week. What I was, babes, was outnumbered. I know it. You guys know it and most importantly, Noah Ortega knows it.
Emily starts pointed at the camera and starts to address Noah specifically.
Emily Carter: You most definitely know that, Noah. I don't expect you to have any shame. I don't expect you to feel bad about what happened. So know this. You got your win. Congratulations? But this thing here?
She begins to motion between herself and the camera.
Emily Carter: It's not over. We're both on the same brand. It's only gonna be but so long before we find ourselves on opposite ends of the ring and when we do? Trust me, I'll have backup next time. Whether it's Carli, Jess or both members of B², my babes will be by my side and what happened last week won't happen again. Next time, when the odds are actually evened, you and yours Lost are gonna find out that you're not better than me.
She nods before continuing.
Emily Carter: But that's a situation for a different time. Let's focus on tonight, right, babes? Tonight I take on Millie, one half of Team Trillie. Millie, you seem like a sweet girl. So I'm not heading into that ring with any animosity towards you. I said earlier tonight that I wanted to come into this one with all the momentum and I know you feel the same. It's been a rough go for Team Trillie as of late. I know a couple of those losses have come at the hands of B². I've seen what you can do in there. I've also seen what you haven't been able to do. Carli and Jess have given me the playbook and I plan executing to a T to get that win. For your sake, I hope you break out and get that big win. But that will have to wait until after tonight because it won't happen out there at my expense.

BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut backstage where Jack Graves can be seen making his way toward the dressing room he shares with Rayven Hardy. He’s carrying some drinks for the two of them, and a nestle crunch bar as he pushes his way through the door and into the room.
Jack Graves: Hey babe I got you a–
Jack stops suddenly and arches an eyebrow as the camera pans around the surprisingly empty room. Confused, Graves puts the refreshments on a nearby bench to pull out his cellphone and he instantly dials Ray’s number.
The phone rings a few times, and suddenly Jack can hear vibrating across the room. He quickly makes his way over to pull Rayven’s phone from her bag. This causes instant panic deep within Jack, and it’s apparent on his face as he makes a break for the door. That’s when his phone starts ringing, pausing him in his tracks.
The moment he sees an “unknown number” on the screen of the iPhone, his heart leaps into his throat and he quickly answers the phone. There’s dead silence between both parties for a moment, before the sound of Rayven screaming can be heard. This causes jack to put his hand through a nearby wall in anger as he paces the room.
Jack Graves: Where are you, you sumbitch? You better not hurt her. I swear to god. You harm one hair on her head and the truce I called on your girl Madeline is off. You hear me motherfucker?
Julian’s laugh echoes through the phone, filling the room, which only serves to further enrage Jack Graves. He thinks about gronk spiking his phone, but he refrains and lets out a loud roar.
Jack Graves: WHERE IS SHE MOTHERFUCKER?
Julian stops laughing and sucks his teeth, an annoyed sigh replacing the laughter.
Julian Savell: You want her back? Meet me at the Boston University Bridge. Twenty Minutes. Come alone or… well… I guess you’ll find out. click
The camera cuts back to where Jack was previously standing, but all that remains is the shattered remnants of an iPhone 13 and a locker room door hanging from one hinge as the scene goes black.

Cameras switch to the back, revealing the duo of Ricky Rodriguez and Big Ass Bobby. The pair each had hold of an arm of some poor unlucky, half conscious backstage worker. Literally dragging the man through those halls until they came up on an opened set of double doors. Ricky and Bobby nodded their heads in unison before dragging him inside of that room.
That room was dimly lit and completely empty save for a small stage kinda thing. Standing upon that stage would be none other than Marisol Vilaro. She had a smile that shined bright even against the slight darkness. Ricky and Bobby brought the man forward, stopping once they were right in front of Marisol.
Marisol Vilaro: 'In life..sometimes you have to make the tough decisions. You know..the ones that sometime keep you up at night. As you know..on the last edition of Freedom, I had to make one of those tough decisions. I didn't want to do it..but I had to. When you have a plant and parts of it start withering and decaying..what do you do?'
When that worker provided no answer minus a couple pained groans, Bobby violently shook the man a bit.
Big Ass Bobby: You should speak when spoken to.
Marisol held up a single hand, shaking her head slowly, Bobby nodding in response.
Marisol Vilaro: 'It's okay, Bobby, he probably just doesn't know. And that's okay..there's a lot of ignorance in Liberty Pro Wrestling. But when parts of a plant begin withering and rotting away..you cut away those parts. That's exactly what we did with Kenzie..the former Luminary..the former Inspiration.

She wasn't what she needed to be. She became the very thing we vowed to fight against. She became complacent..lazy..no motivation to be better..what so ever. That is not the signs of a capable leader. It wasn't an easy decision, at all, but it was one that had to be made.'
Ricky and Bobby both nodded their heads in agreement with what Marisol was saying. Ricky grabbed the guy by the hair, holding his head back so he could look up at Marisol.
Marisol Vilaro: 'So I stepped up. I stepped up into the position where I was needed..as the leader..the Inspiration..the true Luminary. And because of that..we are better for it. I have shown that we are very much capable of making the decisions that need to be made. I am here to be the leader that Kenzie wasn't able to be. All you have to do is just..believe in Marisol. Let yourself be Inspired..just as Ricky and Bobby have.'
She brought up a single arm, pointing down at the guy Ricky and Bobby were holding still. With his hair still in Ricky's hand, he was forcibly made to nod his head.
Marisol Vilaro: 'That's what I love to hear. You're really going to be better off because of it. The first step to becoming a better you begins..now.'
Ricky and Bobby both stepped against the backs of his knees, bringing the man down to his knees. Marisol laughed out, nodding her head with a rather devious smirk growing out across her features.
Marisol Vilaro: 'We will inspire the world..one person at a time.'[/div]

“Are you okay, Lily?”
Caroline Dallins has her arms crossed, dressed in her business attire as she slowly looks up. Sparrow is the one who poses the question. The West Indian Whirlwind poses the question without a single glance in his manager and sister’s direction. C looks like she doesn’t quite understand why he would even ask--much less even care. Yet Sparrow poses it, all the same, having cleaned himself up after the match with...Well it certainly wasn’t Rayven. Instead, Sparrow faced Frank Cornell because Rayven was kidnapped by Julian Savell. Kidnapped.
Sparrow: No. I shouldn’t be asking if you’re okay. I should be asking if Rayven’s okay. I should be questioning how if she’s even remotely safe right now...But it all goes back to you, boss lady. I should be talking about Blyss tonight, but she can hear whatever I have to say at the next big show. She can get all of that. No this...This is addressed to you.
Sparrow closes his eyes.
Sparrow: I suspect you meant well...In the beginning. You wanted to be somethin’ like a decent boss. You wanted to do better than Nate at least. Be better than him. Of course, we saw how quickly that went off the rails. You could blame it on any number of factors and all other kinds of things but in the end...It was on you. Nowadays we gotten to the point where you talk like you ready to burn it all down anyway. Turn the Freedom brand into cinders. You been sayin’ that for a while now. You remember right? You were gonna ‘take us all down’. I was in your office and everything when we were having such a fun conversation. One minute you’re lording and championing Blyss, the next minute you just wanna burn the company down anyway so ain’t nothing matter. Again I ask.
...
...
Are you okay, Lily? I’ll answer for you. No you aren’t, and you won’t be for some time.
There’s something intensely mellow in the way the former Freedom champion speaks. Anger. Joy. Excitement. Exhaustion. There’s nothing here. Just a sort of mildness that’s hard to pin down.
Sparrow: How do you do it. How do you let one of your employees get...Kidnapped. It doesn’t matter whatever feelings you have for her but at this point, we’ve just gone well past the point. Seeing us getting beaten on, madness yes...But wrestling. Always wrestling. You fucking TJ and me over in favor for someone I can tell is more a relationship of convenience for you than anything else? Bullshit, but wrestling. Always wrestling, Lily. No...No, I’m just talkin’ these things over because I ain’t forgotten. I ain’t forgotten that you are next on that list. That I will deal with you. Might be before I face Blyss, might be after...Might be I get fired and I’ll be in that parking lot, waiting for you. Send security to escort me, detail some personal security you hired. I am going to have what I am due, and that is your neck. Not because of revenge, not because of some viciousness or even because you all but asked for it. Lily I’mma do it to you, when I do it...Because you asked for it. I wonder sometimes...I’ve seen insane bosses and incompetent bosses, but you are one of the chosen few to be insanely incompetent. It will be my pleasure Lily....To stomp you out...And then? ...Or maybe before.
Sparrow’s eyes closed.
Sparrow: There won’t be anywhere you can hide, Blyss. I ain’t even tryna hear your pet no more, he got his own problems. Do whatever you want, have Lily name every stipulation against me in the book. I’ll never stop, I’ll never relax, I’ll never quit. Not until Blyss Lockhart is no longer Freedom champion. Fire me? Nah. Y’all gon’ have to end me.
The final words come out as a hiss, the West Indian Whirlwind sneering and then walking off camera with Caroline following after him.

The camera cuts backstage to a familiar locker room with a familiar man sitting in the center of it. Marcus Black looks into the camera and does something he often doesn’t do: Smile. He flexes his hands to test the tape.
Marcus Black: Its good to be fighting again. I know it was only a show but to not even be allowed to show up to the arena… well it wasn’t a favourable outcome. I mean I could have tried to sneak in the arena, but who would be stupid enough to try that?
Marcus smirks.
Marcus Black: Oh, and I hope you enjoyed actually getting to have a straight up match for a change, Sparrow. Funny how it was set up as a last man standing and yet there was no sign of Blyss and Dante. Strange. There was no sign of Rayven either but that was a different situation entirely. I was ready to go, Dante. We could have settled things between us at the top of this show, but you chose to stay at your master’s feet like a good boy. Actually I’ll correct myself, because you don’t /choose/ to do anything. I know that, because you could choose to let Blyss fight her own fight and prove that she is every bit the champion she thinks she is. You could choose to further your own career and find your own path, to succeed in a way you never thought possible. You have spent so long under Blyss’s heel you don’t even know what it feels like to make a choice of your own. THATS what makes you and Blyss different from Stella and I. I CHOSE to have Stella’s back. I chose to fight with her, the same way that she chooses to fight with me by having my back at ringside. As she always has. Whereas with you Dante, even as you stand beside her literally in the same ring, you still only fight FOR her. You’re an attack dog Dante, you always have been. A fucking good one, I can’t lie, but its all she has ever let you be.
But now you have a chance to change that, Dante. Enough with manipulating favours behind the scenes, enough with title match ruining sneak attacks. If you truly hate me that much, if you TRULY believe that I betrayed you and am the cause for all of this, then prove it. Just you and me. No Stella, no Blyss, nothing else. Next week is Battle Symphony II, I know that Blyss has a match, and I know that you don’t. I am doing something that Blyss has never and will NEVER do for you Dante: I’m giving you a choice. You can decline, stay by Blyss’s side and prove right everything I have said about you, or you can choose to accept. To stand across the ring from me and show me just how good you really are. How good that I /know/ that you are.
Tonight I am fighting Jace Mitchell. He’s a man who is frothing at the mouth to go to war, who is betting on us tearing the shit out of each other and leaving it all in that ring. He is looking to fight the best and get the best fights. I respect that. I’m going to leave him laying, but I respect that. There was a time where I thought you were that kind of guy too, Dante. You still can be.
The choice is yours.

RECORDED ELSEWHERE
The scene cuts to Boston University Bridge and we see Jack Graves quickly making his way toward it after he received a call from Julian Savell at the beginning of the night. Jack can see from a distance that Julian Savell is standing there at the railing of the bridge and he actually DOES have Rayven Hardy with him. Her hands are tied behind her back with a rope running down to wrap around her legs as well, but the self-proclaimed ‘God of Wrestling’ was holding her up next to him. As the camera gets a close-up of the former world champion and actress, her lips were trembling. She was saying ‘please, please don’t do this’ over and over as Julian catches Jack approaching from a distance. He jerks on Rayven, inching closer to the edge of the bridge as Rayven lets out an audible shriek in fear.
Rayven Hardy: NO! Julian, stop! This is crazy! Please! PLEASE!
The desperation in Ray’s voice was evident as Graves was approaching as quickly, but as cautiously as he could.
Jack Graves: Julian you either let her go or I’ll end you. I mean it. I’m not playing with you anymore. You think me breaking into your house was bad? You can’t imagine the unholy hell I will unleash on you if you hurt her. Let. Her. Go. NOW.
The last few words out of Jack’s mouth come as a vicious snarl, his blood boiling in his veins as he inches closer to the two of them, waiting to make his move. Inside he was terrified though. He’d never show it, but he knew that Julian wasn’t bluffing. He’d seen the wickedness in his eyes when they had locked up in the hallway of his house. Julian was a cold-blooded sumbitch. But so was Jack, and he’d make good on his threats… that much was evident now. Julian shoved Rayven halfway over the edge of the bridge with a sickening cackle, holding her in place as she screamed.
Julian Savell: You want me to… LET HER GO!?
Julian laughed again.
Julian Savell: Take another step and I will! Tell him Rayven… Tell your man to stop and I will let you go and you can fly away like the scared little bird that you are.
Rayven Hardy: STOP! Jack, please! Just listen to him.
Her voice was far from the confident dripping tone that she usually displays, instead, she was practically fumbling over her words as her hair was blowing in the wind as she was hanging halfway off the bridge.
Rayven Hardy: I love you Jack, but listen to Julian. I need to be here. For my son. For you. I can’t do this…I can’t. I can’t..
Hardy was finally relaxing a little, seeing Jack stop in his tracks. Jack puts both hands up and nods towards Rayven.
Jack Graves: Okay… okay. Fuck… I’ll step back.
Jack takes a few small steps backward, but his hand slides behind him to something in his waistband. His eyes lock on Julian’s and he nods at him menacingly.
Jack Graves: I did what you asked. Bring her back on over the edge. Don’t make a mistake you can’t come back from. I WILL wipe you off the face of this earth, Julian. This ain’t wrestling anymore, son. You’ve crossed a line that you are coming REEEEAL close to never being able to uncross. Think of your family. Your girl. This shit won’t be an open casket either partna. I’m not asking again. I’m TELLING you. Release her.
Julian’s brow furrows before he looks at Jack and nods.
Julian Savell: You surprised me, Jack. I didn’t think your temper would subside.
He pulls Rayven up from the edge and holds tight so that she can’t escape, putting her between Jack and himself as a shield.
Julian Savell: You know, you broke into my home. You assaulted me and for that? I simply wanted to scare you. Something you and I can share a laugh about over some drinks one day.
Julian starts to laugh as he pats Rayven on the shoulder but his laugh soon fades and his eyes go dark.
Julian Savell: But you threatened my Madeline and that? That is unforgivable. I hope you know how to swim Jack because this bird’s wings have been clipped.
Julian’s threat earlier had made Jack take just enough steps back and this gave him the space to do what he planned on doing all along. Savell THREW Rayven off the bridge and she went flying down into the cold, murky depths of the Charles River below, disappearing from view instantly.
Everything in Jack’s body screamed at him to pull the weapon he had in his waistband. To just untuck it, and skip to the end of Julian Savell. To be the old Jack one more time… but instead, he took three quick strides, planted on the edge of the railing, and dove in after his girlfriend without a second thought. The camera panned up to Julian letting out a sickening laugh as he walked off from the bridge. The camera then panned down to the water but there was nothing but darkness.
The scene cuts away with the sound of approaching sirens, and tires squealing as Julian makes a quick escape.

Noah Ortega: Everybody wants to know, why walk the way of The Lost?
For a moment Ortega doesn't say anything, opting to stay quiet as he recollects his thoughts before licking his lips and opening them.
Noah Ortega: To be perfectly honest with you, why not? I see it everyday, a generation of lost souls, aimlessly roaming trying to cling onto some sort of higher meaning or purpose. A generation fuelled by television screens and make believe dreams, that their parents feed them as they tuck them into bed at night, all nice and comfy. They tell them that they can amount to anything, achieve absolutely everything, if they just set their minds to it, before the harsh realization kicks in that life apparently doesn't work that way. Next thing you know you're strung out and all alone, not knowing where to go or who to go to in this cold, cruel twisted world. All those people who once believed in you, all turned their backs on you, when it mattered most.
He shrugs his shoulders, his face turning sour as he bows his head and shakes it in disappointment.
Noah Ortega: Here at the Lost, we don't turn our backs on one of our own. We embrace each other with open arms, as brothers and sisters, we fight side by side with the same cause in mind, the same fight that has plagued us our whole lives. This idea of fitting in, we haven't fitted in anywhere our whole lives. But together we've found a way, we've found a purpose, we've found our identities and together we will fight for justice, freedom and liberty here in Liberty Pro! It seems to me that Liberty Pro, it's riddled with lost souls, wandering aimlessly, trying to fill a void of happiness or contentment, but not being able to. They need to be saved, before it's too late but luckily for them, The Lost have arrived. Emily Carter is one of those souls we who seemed very lost when I stepped inside the ring with her last week, managing to pick up a win on my debut. Don't feel ashamed or embarrassed Emily, you're only the first of many victims that will fall to the Lost. You got yourself distracted Emily, your head was everywhere but it wasn't in the match, and that ultimately cost you. Does that mean your a lost cause? Potentially... but that doesn't have to be the doom and gloom of it all, believe me. With us, you can excel Emily, perhaps even find a way to advance your career to the next level. With the Lost, you can always find your way.

The scene gradually fades to black, with the final shot being each member having their fist held high.

MATCH FIVE: TAG
Skylar Rayner & Brendan Samuels vs Diamond Jack Sabbath & Cait Flanagan
Skylar Rayner & Brendan Samuels vs Diamond Jack Sabbath & Cait Flanagan
RECAP
WINNER Brendan Samuels & Skylar Rayner METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 9:11 FINISHING MOVE Sky’s The Limit POST MATCH "Labyrinth" by Elisa began to play after Skylar got the big win, though it wasn’t in the circumstances they would have hoped for given DJS abandoning his tag partner mid-match. The referee raised her arm, and Brendan’s too as they took in the adoration of the crowd, Cait rolling out of the ring, shaking the cobwebs off as it really sunk in what had happened. Nonetheless, this was a great result for Brendan, and especially Skylar, after the recent attacks and defeats in recent weeks and they looked packed full of confidence after getting the big W. But as they turned to applaud the fans who were cheering their name, they didn’t see or hear a figure running down from the back! DJS was back out there, and he had the United States championship belt in his hands. He practically did a drive by on Cait Flanagan, flattening her as he then slid into the ring. Samuels turned, spotting Diamond Jack, and he darted towards him, trying to both intercept him and warn Rayner at the same time. DJS clipped The Wrestling with the belt, not catching him full force, but with enough of a shot to knock him down. And all who was left was now Skylar, and Sabbath wasted no time to complete his trilogy… BAM! But it wasn’t the connection that he was expecting, nor the one the crowd was, as the audience became absolutely unglued by what they had witnessed. It was someone else who had made the connection, a wild spinning bicycle kick that had caught Sabbath square in the jaw and sent him spiraling out of the ring. As the camera focused on the figure, they turned and were revealed. It was none other than Anastasia Starling! Was it Starling who Brendan had been talking to in recent weeks? Was it her that he had been hinting at when he said he had an ally? It must have been, and The Songbird was here on Freedom! DJS was dazed, having dropped the US belt as he was caught with Our Lady Peace, and he looked stunned at the sight of Starling in front of him. She snarled, startling Sabbath, who began backing away, clearly fuming as he rubbed his jaw. Skylar ran behind the birthday bird, giving her a hug from behind as she thanked her, the audience cheering Starling’s name. Ana then raised Brendan and Skylar’s arms in the air in victory, as the audience cheered on the trio. |
BACKSTAGE
When the show comes back from commercial break the cameras start rolling at Brigham Hospital. An ambulance can be seen pulling to a stop outside of the emergency room, and the EMS personnel quickly unload a stretcher from the back to rush it inside. Jack Graves follows step by step behind them, the worry and concern on his face easily picked up by the cameras as he keeps pace with the paramedics, brushing right past Robb Hardy without even noticing.
The stretcher gets to the end of the long hallway, and the paramedics swipe a card to unlock the door before continuing inside. A few of them stop though, and they turn around to put a halt to Jack following them, one of them going as far as to point to a “No Admittance” sign nearby.
EMT 1: I’m sorry sir, but you’ll have to wait in the waiting room with her father. We can’t let you back here right now. Trust us. We’re going to take good care of her and you’ll get to see her in a bit. I know you’re worried bu–
Jack wasn’t hearing it. As soon as the man put his hand on Jack’s shoulder, Graves instantly twisted it into a painful chicken wing and shoved him face-first into the concrete wall.
Jack Graves: No. You’re going to let me back there. You can either scan that card again for me or I can tear your fuckin’ arm off and scan myself in with it. Your choice.
A few of the other paramedics and nurses rush over to try and pry Jack off but this only fuels the fire.
Jack Graves: BACK THE FUCK UP!
Suddenly a hand grabs Jack from behind, one much stronger than any of the EMTs and he is pulled off of the paramedic that he has trapped. As Jack turns around, he’s ready to strike whoever grabbed him but when he turns with his fist pulled back, he just catches himself as he sees that it’s Robb Hardy.
Robb Hardy: Jack, you need to calm down and follow the rules. They’re going to take care of Ray, alright? You already did everything that you can and I’m grateful that you jumped in and saved her.
He pauses and shakes his head.
Robb Hardy: What I’m not grateful for is how far this has gone. It never should have gone this far and that? That’s on your shoulders right now. You understand that, right? So do me a favor and take a deep breath and let these hospital workers do their job because Rayven is going to need you when they’re done checking over her and making sure nothing is broken.
Jack listens to his every word, nodding in agreement up until he says that everything that has happened is on him. Jack’s eyebrow arches slowly and he tilts his head a bit… kinda like a confused dog.
Jack Graves: did… did you just say this is on me? Julian showed up to torment your daughter, specifically. He bludgeoned Junior and left him in a pool of his own blood. He threatened BOTH of our lives. I’m doing what has to be done, Robb. I’m fucking PROTECTING her. I’m getting payback for what he did to Junior.
Jack brushes past him, heading for the emergency room doors as he continues to speak.
Jack Graves: She may have dated some soft-ass motherfuckers who were too much of a coward to fight for her in the past, but that ain’t me. Never will be. Now excuse me, I’m going to go finish this shit since it’s on my shoulders. You won’t have to worry about Julian Savell after tonight. No one will. That’s on god.
Robb steps in front of Jack and shakes his head.
Robb Hardy: No. First off? Julian did do those things, but what he said before? How he did it in a controlled area? He wasn’t wrong about that. He pushed you to take it further though, and I don’t blame you, man, I don’t. I might have done the same thing at your age. But there is a difference between protecting and what happened tonight. Breaking into his home, a place he usually has Madeline there with him? That’s a line you never should have drawn and because of that, Julian reacted. I know you like to go in guns ablazing but you can’t be a gunslinger against a guy like him, it’s what he wants.
Robb pauses with a sigh and Jack tries to cut in, but Hardy stops him.
Robb Hardy: Wait. I’m not done. I’m not mad at you, kid. I just know you’re better. My daughter and her son? They love you and they need the best side of you. And that side? It’s the one that calms down and stays here while Ray recuperates. As for Julian? And even that dumb girl, Syn? They can wait until Battle Symphony. That’s when you and hopefully Rayven can get your payback.
Robb places a reassuring hand on Jack’s shoulder.
Robb Hardy: Do this the right way. It’s what Rayven wants. Believe me.
Jack’s hard demeanor seems to soften as he listens now, and he nods in understanding.
Jack Graves: You’re right. Fuck.. I just… It’s hard to leave that life behind sometimes. The side of me that kicks down doors and totes a pistol and brings unholy hell to anyone’s doorstep that crosses me. You know? I mean this rasslin’ shit and having people that rely on me and care about me? It’s all new to me. I don’t know what to do sometimes and the old me rears its ugly head and I let it take over...and I… I need a fucking cigarette.
Graves nods his head toward the double glass doors, and the two of them walk out to the parking lot. They go a good ways away from the building, and Jack lights up a Marlboro to take a few hits.
Jack Graves: Even if she’s not able to go up against them at Battle Symphony… I’m ending this. Handicap match or not. I’m going to do it the right way and Julian is going to regret the day he ever stepped foot in Liberty and set his sights on us. I promise you. They’ve never seen anything like the rabid animal that will be coming for them on that night. It’ll be like a fuckin… gorilla on cocaine.
The two of them laugh at the depiction, and Jack takes another draw on his square before Robb suddenly plucks it out of his hand and stomps it out.
Robb Hardy: Just doing it for Ray since she can’t. I figured I’d let you get a few puffs in first though.
Jack laughs and shakes his head, muttering a ‘goddamnit’ under his breath as he stuffs his hands in his pockets. A cold breeze whips through the parking lot, and Jack starts shivering a bit from the wet clothes he still had on.
Robb Hardy: Go back to the hotel and change. Bring her some clothes too. I’ll be here until you get back and I’ll call you if anything changes.
Jack shakes his head and looks at Robb defiantly, but another cool gust of wind quickly changes his mind.
Jack Graves: Okay. I’ll be back in less than an hour. I’m sorry about this man. I’m going to make it right. I promise.
Robb nods and pats Jack on the shoulder once more.
Robb Hardy: I have no doubt that you will.
Jack gives him a weary smile and he turns to walk away, but he stops suddenly and scratches his head in confusion.
Jack Graves: So uh… I didn’t drive here. I rode in the ambulance.
Robb shakes his head and looks at Jack’s soaked clothes.
Robb Hardy: Oh no. You’re not getting in my car like that. Call an Uber.
Jack gives him a look, and Robb finally caves, tossing him his car keys. Jack catches them and gives him an appreciative nod.
Robb Hardy: Fuck it. It’s a rental. Just make sure you bring one of those hotel towels back with you to put over the seat so I don’t have to sit in a puddle on the way home.
Jack Graves: You got it, pops. I’ll be back in a few.
Jack turns and walks away and the camera stays on Robb for a moment, before panning to the hospital entrance once more to fade to black.

Emery Layton vs ??
Emery Layton vs ??
RECAP
WINNER Emery Layton METHOD DQ MATCH LENGTH 20:11 FINISHING MOVE Tamsin slammed belt into Emery’s head POST MATCH The bell is ringing furiously, but Tamsin isn’t done with her assault just yet. She picks up Emery and slams her face first into the post! Keeping a tight grip on her she drags her towards the commentary desk and violently shoves her on it, throwing everything set on the desk asunder in the midst of the chaos. With a small satisfied smirk on her face Tamsin fishes for one of the headsets thrown to the wayside. As she puts it on, the heaving of heavy breaths takes over the feed. Tamsin: “Shit, I guess Imma bit outta shape.” She kneels a bit, leveling herself to see strewn out Emery eye to eye. Tamsin: “Emery Layton. Noir champion everyone. You see I didn’t keep much of a surprise for ya leading up to tonight.” She pauses, wiping a bit of sweat and blood off of her forehead. Tamsin: “There was no one I wanted more to stand against when I came back to Liberty Pro. A champion that takes on anyone. Anywhere. Anytime. And I love that Em’... Because you leave the door open for anyone to step through.” Her smile wipes itself away as she turns to the hard camera. Tamsin: “Even a ghost of the past… Because to put it quite frank for ya bab… That’s why I’m here… I sat at home for a year, and slowly I watched everyone single one of you forget me. And If it was so easy… After everything I’ve done…” A pause as she lowers the microphone down. She looks out into the LPW audience, her eyes scanning a sea of faces. That faded smile gnarls itself into a look of contempt, she puts the stick back up and continues. Tamsin: “... You won’t make the same mistake again.” Slowly she shakes her head. Tamsin: “Because I won’t make the same mistake again. I won’t let off the gas, I won’t let my foot off of this company’s fucking neck. And when I’m finished, you won’t even have the fucking chance to forget again… Because there will just be me, and only me. And because I’M so benevolent… I’m going to give it all back to you… The people.” She turns back to Emery, looking at her as she steps away. Tamsin: “I’m going to seize the means of production Emery, and what I’m going to produce and distribute to you at Battle Symphony Two, is the worst beating you’ll ever experience in your life. A deathmatch sounds about right, yeah?” The LPW crowd pops loudly in approval, these New York fans indulging in their fair share of brutality. Tamsin: “I’m going to bring you to the edge and maybe back, might fuck around and take your belt to bab… But the most important thing… Is that you will never forget what I did to you.” |
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens backstage where Blyss Lockhart and Dante Locke are glaring down at the camera. They’re both set in their ring attires and the Freedom championship glistens from Blyss’ shoulder and the metal chain is seen wrapped around her fist. Blyss extends that fist and prods the camera.
Blyss Lockhart: While my mind is already fixed on annihilating the undeserving one at Battle Symphony II, I for one am glad for a little break, a little breather, with Carli Davis and Jessica Anderson, because then I can get through the night without having to hear Sparrow crying about how his career is forced to be put on the line again and seeing his sister Caroline just shaking her head in disappointment since she has so little faith in him…
She lets out a sigh.
Blyss Lockhart: But that’s all for another day. Today, Dante and I face the Freedom tag team champions, B2. Freedom’s top duo! How… intimidating.
She cracks a smirk and tries to hide it but fails as she snorts in derision.
Blyss Lockhart: I can’t even do this with a straight face. In fact, I pity them. Lily’s obviously throwing them to the wolves. They may officially be the best tag team on the Freedom roster but it’s obvious Dante and I are a far superior tag team. We can easily switch over to the tag division and clean house, just like how we’ve done with the singles division here with the Freedom championship. Something Carli and Jessica can only dream about trying. Best friends or not, they’re not the same as Dante and I. We operate on a whole other level. We are above them in every way. I’m very familiar with Jessica and I’m not at all impressed with her track record. And I don’t care what Carli’s accomplished, I am still better. And so is Dante. There is no contest here, just a good ol’ fashioned no-bullshit beatdown.
Now the smirk turns into a shameless wolfish grin as she flexes her steel chain wrapped fist.
Blyss Lockhart: Thank you, Lily. For treating your roster and your champions well. For your guidance and allowing us to grow and do what we do best.
Dante smiled and nodded.
Dante Locke: Lily is the best boss we’ve ever had. Nobody has believed in you and me like she has and in return? We’ve helped her out at every turn. Most people wanna drag her down and throw her out when they don’t know what she’s been through. But we know. We get Lily and that’s why she trusts us and not the rest of this roster.
He pointed to the camera.
Dante Locke: Now tonight? We are entrusted in showing how dominant we are. We’re going to beat your so-called tag champs and then Blyss? Well, she’s going to move on and get that boy fired by beating his ass. Then me?
Dante scoffed and shook his head.
Dante Locke: I heard what you fucking had to say, Marcus. You think I’m afraid of you? You think that I won’t fight you? Please. You’re a giant bitch. You want a fight with the Hellhound? Well, it’s fucking on! The Kraken is going down with his ship. And as for your snake manager? If she gets in the way? I’ll take her out too.
Dante shook his head.
Dante Locke: Whatever though. Let’s go get this match done with, huh babe?
Blyss looked at Dante and smirked and nodded and the two walked off and the scene cut away.

CLOSING SEGMENT
After a brief commercial break, we come back to the end of Freedom. Standing in the middle of the ring was Lily Callaghan with a mic in hand.
Lily Callaghan: I have a few things to get off my chest before this show ends. I AM SO SICK OF ALL OF YOU!!!
The fans boo loudly.
Lily Callaghan: I meant the roster, you idiots! But I’m sick of you too! You fickle fans! I HATE YOU ALL!!!
Lily was seething as the fans continued to boo. She went to speak again but “Infinite” by Silverstein blared over the PA system and out walked… JADE NIGHT!? The General Manager of Liberation is here on Freedom! The fans cheered as Jade stood there with a mic in hand and a smirk on her lips. Before her music could cut away, Lily started to yell.
Lily Callaghan: WHAT IS THAT WHORE DOING HERE!? SECURITY!!!! SECURITY? GET RID OF HER!!!!
Nothing happened as Jade stood there laughing. She then raised her mic up to her lips and began to speak.
Jade Night: Oh Lily, Lily, Lily… I have heard that you want to get rid of me. In fact, I’ve heard that you want FULL control of this company. You? Your reckless ass wants to have it all?
Jade scoffed and rolled her eyes.
Jade Night: But you know what? I’ll let you have it.
Lily Callaghan: YES! YES! GIVE IT TO ME!
Jade waved her finger.
Jade Night: Woah, calm down Smeagal, I’m not done yet.
The fans laughed as Lily scowled.
Jade Night: You can have control of this company if you can beat MY chosen team in a five on five…
Jade paused and looked at the crowd, who waited in anticipation.
Jade Night: In a WAR GAMES MATCH!
The fans went nuts when they heard it! Lily started to yell and scream before she nodded.
Lily Callaghan: Okay! Yeah! Whatever! I have Blyss and Dante and I can figure out the rest! You’re on, you idiot!
Jade waved her finger again.
Jade Night: Oh, I’m not done, Lil. Stop interrupting and let me finish.
Lily Callaghan: I’LL DO WHAT I WAN–
Jade Night: I said shut up!
Lily’s eyes widened in shock.
Jade Night: Now… Here’s the last part of it. You and I? We will both be in the match. You have a fighting background from your younger days and me? Well, you all know I can fight. So why don’t you earn this company? If you win? You get Liberation. If I win? I don’t even want Freedom. I just want YOU gone.
Lily looked nervous before she started to speak.
Lily Callaghan: Well, I’m not too sure I can do that. Me? Fight? ME!?
The crowd started to call her a chicken over and over again.
Lily Callaghan: I AM NOT A CHICKEN! IT’S ON! YOU’RE ON!
The crowd went absolutely bananas at Lily accepting the challenge.
Jade Night: Alright, that means you have to find two people with you and Dante and Blyss being on your team. As for me? I have my team but one of them? I’m leaving a secret. But you can meet three of them.
Jade stepped aside as three men walked out onto the entrance ramp.
… Xavier Laroux!
… TJ Techniques!
And… TYSON GREGORY!?
The crowd went absolutely berserk at seeing the three men. Xavier is a member of Liberty, TJ is the former Freedom Champion and member of Freedom and Tyson? When did he join Liberty? Or has he? What’s going on!?
Lily Callaghan: What!? NO! HOW!! TJ YOU COWARD!
Lily started to stomp on the ground in anger as Jade clapped her hands.
Jade Night: The challenge has been set. See you at Battle Symphony 2, Lily. Good luck because you’re going to need it.
“Infinite” by Silverstein blared over the PA system again as Jade shook the hands of TJ, Tyson and Xavier. The scene then ended. See you next time at Battle Symphony 2!!!!
