PRE-SHOW: HANDICAPPED MATCH
Felix Vialpando vs Larclan & Joey Barber
wrote:
Felix was in the ring when Joey Barber made his way to the ring. The two stood and waited in the ring but there wasnt any sign of Larclan. The big screen then turned on and Larclan was shown knocked out backstage with a bent chair next to him. The camera then moved back to Felix who smirked and shrugged innocently. Felix dominated the match with Joey before he nailed him with the Falcon Call Falcon Call (Omega Driver). Felix picked Larclan up again and hit him with a second Falcon Call before pinning him for the easy three count.
WINNER: Felix Vialpando by pinfall @ 3:54
MATCH ONE: TAG TEAM MATCH
Carina Eventide & Maddux Kingcade vs. Izzi Grimes & Cami McGatha
wrote:
The match starts with Carina and Cami in the ring, the two women are well matched and exchange shots a few times over before Cami loses patience and with a sweep of the leg, takes Carina down to the mat; stomping on her chest she steps over her opponent to smile at Maddux, who tells her to focus on the match, as Cami turns back around she walks into a short arm clothesline, as Carina then swings Cami off the ropes, Cami comes back with a take down and both women hit the mats. Cami is on top of Carina and lands a few blows before Carina reverses their positions and lands a few blows of her own, the final two coming down hard on Camis head.
Cami counters with al elbow to the bridge do Carinas nose and both girls scramble to their corners to make the tag; whilst Carina makes hers; Izzi is not leaning quite far enough over for Cami to connect with the tag and Maddux is quick in the ring, grabbing Cami by the ankle as she dives a second time for the tag he pulls her back and slams her down into the mat, locking her legs up into a twist under ankle lock that leaves Cami flailing before she finally kicks him off and makes the tag.
Izzi comes into the match hot and knocks Maddux down, after a second takedown with her shoulder she attempts to bounce him off the ropes but he counters, grabbing the rope and leaning back to land a stinging kick to Izzis chest he turns her around and nails her with the F.Y.G but before he can make the pin, Carina blind slaps his shoulder, tagging herself in.
Mounting the turnbuckle she nails Izzi with a frog splash and hooks the leg, Maddux is clearly pissed but turns to prevent Cami from breaking the pin just in time, picking up the three count.
WINNERS: Carina Eventide & Maddux Kingcade @ 8:12
Carina celebrates as Maddux then turns and the pair start to argue as they roll out of the ring, Maddux arguing he already had the match and Carina insisting he needed her help as the pair make their way up the ramp arguing.
In the ring, Cami is yelling at Izzi, standing over her as she keeps yelling at her partner about how this is her fault. Cami backs off and keeps demanding that Izzi get up, as Izzi rolls up onto her knees Cami grabs her by the arm and wrenches her up, then shoves her back, still yelling in her face about how this is her fault.
Cami tells Izzi that she is sick and tired of Izzi constantly messing up and that she needs to focus more on their work in the ring and not the stupid happy rubbish her and Finn are always shoving down everyones throats, she warns Izzi that next week will be her last chance and if Izzi doesnt start winning for them, she will have to find herself another partner.
Cami then leaves the ring and Izzi stands there for a moment looking genuinely sad and dejected, when Cami is at the top of the ramp, Izzi rolls out of the ring and chases after her tag partner, begging for her to listen to her as the pair head into the back.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts to the back where Maddux Kingcade is fresh from his match. He still has on his ring gear and is laughing to himself for a moment as he checks his elbow over.
Maddux Kingcade: You know this elbow has knocked out its fair share of opponents. In fact, it has a who's who of victims. Tonight, Izzi Grimes was the latest to get her grapes fucked by my elbow. But it feels cheap Normally, Im excited and pumped after a win but tonight? Not so much. It might And I say might Have to do with Carina Eventide letting me do all the heavy lifting in the match before tagging herself in and taking the pin away from me.
Maddux chuckles a bit and shakes his head.
Maddux Kingcade: You know what Carina? You want the win and the glory that badly? By all means take it. You know why Im okay with it? Because we were on the same team and a win for you, is a win for me this go around. Unlike last week when I all but knocked your head off and beat you. So, Im okay with the outcome of this match This time. But consider this your formal warning Carina, you fucking glory steal from me again? And Im going to do more than just knock you fucking loopy Im going to make you question your career choices thus far.
Kingcade shrugs his shoulders and offers up a killer smile to the camera.
Maddux Kingcade: So celebrate tonight Carina Enjoy your first victory back in Liberty. And stay the fuck out of my way.
Maddux smiles again before walking off camera.
MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
Anastasia Hayden vs. Isla Carter
wrote:
The fans boo as Anastasia Hayden makes her way to the ring with Isabella Strickland in tow. The two friends step into the ring opposite of Isla Carter, but she looks on in confusion as Ana is clearly not dressed to compete. Ana whispers something in the announcers ear before rolling out of the ring and pulling out a chair, taking a seat at ringside. The announcer says that Isabella Strickland will now be taking Anastasia Haydens spot in the match. Isla goes to dispute this, but the bell sounds and Isabella charges her into the corner.
Strickland unloads a series of strikes on Carter in the corner before the referee has to pull Isabella away. This gives Isla a big enough window to fire out of the corner with a superkick that stuns Isy. She tries to follow up with a roundhouse kick, but Isabella grabs Islas leg and throws her over with a capture suplex. Carter gets back on her feet, but just for a moment as Strickland is there with her Hellfyre Lariat! But she doesnt go for the pin as Isy picks Isla up and puts her in the corner.
She backs up a bit and Isabella runs right in for Stricken (Running Corner Bicycle Knee)! Carter drops right to the mat and Strickland pulls Isla away from the ropes before going for the pin. The referee slides into position and counts the three.
WINNER: Isabella Strickland by pinfall @ 4:24
Anastasia Hayden rolls into the ring and orders Isabella to pick Isla Carter up. Isabellas listens and she picks Isla up and holds her up. Ana charges and hits Isla Carter with She Was Only Seventeen (Running Single Leg Dropkick). Ana talks trash to Isla before Isy grabs Anas hand and raises it in the air and points at ana with her other hand as the fans boo.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage before her match; Zooey West-Jaa is stretching out in her locker room, already dressed in her red and black tights, a loose fitting shirt, obviously not hers, slung over her crop top, her long blonde hair is twisted up on her head in a bun. She has her right leg thrown straight up the wall, almost doing vertical splits as she leans into her knee, running her hands down her legs, turning her head she smirks at her boyfriend Dom Wolfe who is hanging out backstage with her.
Zooey West-Jaa: Pack that in, looking at me like that is distracting.
She grins as she says it, looking him up and down that draws a chuckle from him, dropping her leg from the wall she turns to approach him before seeing the camera and rolling her eyes with an irritated sigh.
Zooey West-Jaa: What, you wanting me to run off a few lines about this Coda kid? Gotta tell ya folks dont really have much to say, the girl has made the biggest mistake you can make in this industry - and nah I dont mean stepping into the ring with me.
Zooey smirks again and shakes her head as she steps up close to the camera.
Zooey West-Jaa: Coda has chosen to align herself with the dredges and the scum of this industry, instead of living to her potential she allows herself to ruled by the likes of Richards and Shield, so the only thing I got for you Coda, is a simple piece of advice.
Zooey holds up a single finger.
Zooey West-Jaa: Just the one When I beat you tonight, and ya can bet your ass thats gonna happen; when I beat you tonight, I am gonna bring you back here and I am gonna lay out for ya exactly how you coulda beaten me and then - then youre gonna have a choice to make, continue to wallow in the muck of this industry, or step the fuck up and take the lessons life has been tryna teach ya.
Zooey shrugs before turning away from the camera and looking up at Dom with a lift of her brows.
Zooey West-Jaa: Speaking of lessons, werent there some warm up ideas you had for me.
As he nods his head in agreement Zooey slams her hand over the lens of the camera and shoves the cameraman backwards, slamming the door in his face.
MATCH THREE: SINGLES MATCH
Zeke Reed vs. Jakob Alexander
wrote:
Zeke Reed is relentless on his attack on the beginning of the match as he tackles Alexander down with a Lou Thesz Press and pummels him in the face. Jakob covers up as best he can as Reed blasts him with several left and right punches. Zeke picks Alexander up but Jakob counters and nails him with an exploder suplex, giving him the advantage of the match for a moment. Getting his bearings he rips Zeke up off the mat and sets him up for a powerbomb, which he hits to perfection. Alexander then follows it up with a crossface but Zeke escapes by getting his hand on the ropes. Reed rolls to his feet and as Jakob sits up Zeke flattens him with a shining wizard. Zeke quickly goes for a triangle choke but Alexanders experience lets him slip the hold before Reed can torque it in. Alexander elbows Zeke repeatedly in the face, causing him to stand and hold onto his face.
There are a few near falls that follow up between the two competitors in this next part of the match but neither one is gaining much ground until Jakob sends Zeke off with a 360 Irish whip to the far ropes. On the rebound Reed catches her with a Super Kick that drops him to the mat. Reed rolls to the ropes and pulls himself up but Alexander is there with a fast schoolboy roll up, which Alexander uses Zekes tights as leverage but the referee spots it and stops the count. Jakob gets up onto his feet and argues back and forth with the referee, giving Reed time to get up to his feet. Zeke drives a knee into Jakobs gut before he hits him with Shot The Devil Dead (Vertical Suplex Stunner) before he pins him for the three count.
WINNER: Zeke Reed by pinfall @ 8:28
Zekes music plays as he is declared the winner of the match. Zeke raises his hands in the air and celebrates. The crowd begins to boo as they see Felix Vialpando coming through the crowd and Zeke notices the change in the fans tone. As Felix hops the barricade and gets onto the apron of the ring, Zeke turns around and Felix and him stare each other down. Zeke tells Vialpando to get in the ring and bring it on. Felix looks like hes about to enter the ring before he drops down from the apron, laughs and shakes his head while clapping his hands, much to the dismay of the fans. Zeke yells a few things at Felix who simply shrugs and walks away as Zeke continues to stare him down.
BACKSTAGE
Helena Noir: Im not looking for excuses. I had a huge chance and I failed.
Leaning against some crates in a hallway backstage is Helena Noir. Shes still talking about last weeks number one contender match, the triple threat that suddenly turned into a Fatal 4 way when Anastasia Hayden decided to show up and make an impact in Liberty Pro, with an help from Isabella Strickland.
Helena Noir: What happened last week in this ring was a shameful travesty, but you didnt see me complaining like Brendan Callaghan on social media. Hes a nice guy, and hes actually talented, unlike some pushovers infesting this company. But I found his whole rant pointless, and somewhat pathetic. But to each his style, I guess.
She lowers her head, nonchalantly moving the lock of hair away from her eyes.
Helena Noir: What am I doing about it? Simple. I move on. I lost a chance to become number one contender, so what? More will come, Im sure. All I have to do is roll up my sleeves and work my way up, starting tonight, against Dick Lightning. I saw your work kid. Dont think for a second that your speed will help you, or that your manager can distract me. Actually, free piece of advice. Leave her in the locker room, or tell her to stay the fuck out of this match. I wont let you two goofs play some tricks. She tries something fancy, she gets knocked out. Youve been warned.
The look on her face as she stares at the camera is that of someone you dont want to mess with. Focus, determined, and with a devious smile.
Helena Noir: Ive been screwed up my chances too many times already. First it was that Jakob Alexander, ruining my match with Ashleigh. Last week Well we all saw that. I wont let this happen a third time. Lady Luck turned her back on you Dick, you caught me in the worst mood possible. At least, be smart and keep your girlfriend safe, away from me.
Winking at the camera, she pushes herself off the wall and walks away, stopping after a few steps. Slowly she turns back to the camera, her lips curved in a sly grin.
Helena Noir: Do you remember me saying that I will move on? I was joking. I wont complain with the management, I wont cry about how unfair that was. And I wont try and jump Anastasia for cheating her way into a title match. But I will find Isabella Strickland, and I will get my retribution. I hope Hayden paid well for your pride, even though i doubt it. You seem quite the cheap woman, by all means.
Every time you take a decision in life, you should be ready to face the consequences. But even more important, you should be damn sure that the juice is worth the squeeze. Im not going to say you will spend all those money for your medical treatments once Im done with you. That would be so clichè and, in all honesty, nothing but empty words and false promises.
But sure as hell I will make you regret your choice.
Learn which fights are worth picking should be the first thing they teach in wrestling schools.
Ironic you forget it.
Ill see you soon Isy.
Not sure you will see me coming.
Turning on her heels, she walks down the hallway. This time, without turning back.
MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH
Helena Noir vs. Dick Lightning
wrote:
The two competitors square up in the middle of the ring. They lock up with Dick coming out on top, forcing Noir to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Helena was quick to break free of Dick's grip and stand back up, only to meet Dick's outstretch foot with a big boot. On the mat, Helena held her face and rolls to his side. Dick dropped to his knees, forcing Noir to her back as he goes for a pin but Helena kicks out after two.
Dick quickly gets back on the attack, scoring a harsh kick to Helena's back as she tries to stand. He pulls Noir to her feet and nails her with a couple of punches, forcing her into the corner. Taking a few steps back, Dick smashes Helena with a clothesline into the corner. Dick then taunts the crowd and they boo him. He charges again, but Noir dodges out of the way. Dick collides into the turnbuckle and drops to one knee, holding his chest from the impact. Noir meanwhile stands at the ropes, taking a second to catch her breath.
Dick gets back up but Helena catches him with a pair of hard right hands. A third sent Dick up against the ropes. Helena charges in, scoring a clothesline that sends both competitors to the outside of the ring. Helena gets back to her feet first, pausing to gather herself as Dick crawls toward the ring steps. Helena motions towards Dick, grabbing the back of Dick's head and forced him chest first into the barricade around the ring. Helena then pushes Dick back into the ring. She slides in herself and Dick gets up and goes for a clothesline but Helena ducks it and drives her knee into Dicks gut. Helena then hits Lightning with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke) and it doesnt take long until Dick taps out, giving Helena the win.
WINNER: Helena Noir by submission @ 9:04
The bell rings and the referee raises Helenas hand in the air. It doesnt take long until Dicks manager, Deztiny, gets in the ring and gets in Helenas face. She screams at Noir before Noir drops her with a Cradle DDT. Helena yells at Deztiny before kicking Dick one last time for good measure before exiting the ring and heading up the ramp.
PRE-RECORDED SEGMENT
*Vitor Mata sits in the upper sections of the current empty Hammerstein Ballroom. On his shoulder of course is his Anarchy Championship. He look down and watches as the many technicians set up for the show later on in the night.*
Later on tonight after those technicians are done setting up the ring and after several matches, tables will be set around the ring. Then Romeo Black and I will have a tables match, and then I'll have my second title defense done and over with. No offense to you Romeo, but you don't compare to my skill, no matter how fast you are. Precision always beats speed. This time will be no different. All the same I expect the best match out of you. Now onto what occurred last week, Felix Vialpando, like I said you're too cocky took your eyes off the prize. And Zeke Reed, I appreciate the assist, but I didn't need it. What I would like is to have a match with you in the future. That's a main event match right there.
*Vitor stops and chuckles. He puts his belt on the seat next to him and stands up to lean on the railing still watching the technician who are now setting up the ring.*
I'm getting off track. Back to you Romeo, you're one of the few guys on the roster that I will openly admit is good. You took Zeke Reed to the limit, and the brief chance we had to team up you performed well. I have to respect that and I do. I'm not going to treat you like Felix or like Warren or Joey Barber. I'll treat you like a true competitor. See you in the ring.
*Vitor stops leaning on the rail and bends over to grab his belt then walks off. The video feed fades and the phrase vitória para Mim, vitória para Portugal in white and the video officially ends*
MATCH FIVE: TABLES MATCH FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
Vitor Mata vs Romeo Black
wrote:
The match between Vitor Mata and Romeo Black starts off with Vitor exiting the ring. Romeo slides out of the ring and he chases after Vitor who runs away. Vitor then slides into the ring and Romeo follows but before Black can get up, Vitor stomps on his back over and over again. Mata then picks Romeo up and drops him with a DDT. Mata then slides out of the ring and pulls a chair out from under the ring. He slides back in and goes to slam the chair on Romeos chest but Romeo rolls out of the way. Mata tries a second time but Romeo rolls away again before sweeping Matas feet out from under him. Romeo kips up onto his feet and grabs the chair. Vitor gets back up and Romeo throws the chair at Mata, who catches it, and Romeo nails him with a superkick into the chai into Matas face.
With Vitor down, Romeo gets out of the ring and pulls a table out from under the ring. He sets the table up on the outside of the ring and he notices Mata getting up. Romeo gets back into the ring and he grabs Vitor before throwing him over the ropes, towards the table, but Mata catches himself with the ropes before dropping down on his feet on the outside. Black is quick to counter as he takes out Mata with a baseball slide. Romeo gets out of the ring and picks Vitor up and sets him down on the table. Romeo hits the ring and starts to climb up the turnbuckle but Mata gets up off of the table and gets on the apron. He then runs up the turnbuckle and begins to battle it out with Romeo.
The two trade blows back and forth before Vitor takes control of the fight. Vitor then pulls Romeo up and hits him with a back body drop off of the turnbuckle and through the table. The bell rings and Vitor is announced the winner of the match.
WINNER: Vitor Mata by pinfall @ 11:23
Vitor is slow to get to his feet before hes handed his Anarchy Championship. He tries to celebrate but its cut short as hes tackled down by Warren Corbett. The two battle back and forth but Mata is too tired to battle back before Corbett hits him with a devastating spinebuster. Warren grabs a chair and pummels Vitor with it over and over again before grabbing the Anarchy Championship and holding it over Vitor before dropping it down onto Matas chest. Corbett bends down and yells at him, telling him that he will take his championship back very soon.
RINGSIDE
As the lights fall dim and a soft foreboding hum surrounds the entire arena like the plague, the chants of "Requiem" by Mozart meet a soft creaking noise that pounds against the sound system with an eerie reverb. The music seamlessly shifts to something more modern as a feminine figure walks through the curtain with an elaborate white trench coat. The crowd begins to jeer as Coda silently seems to glide down the ramp with her mouth and nose concealed with a designer surgical mask. Her piercing black eyes stare forward towards the ring as she steps closer to her destination with an emotionless stride.
With focus and a subtle intensity in her eyes, Coda doesn't acknowledge the crowd or their hostile reactions towards her as "My Name Is Human" by Highly Suspect continues to blare over the speakers. Brushing her shoulder-length brown hair to the side, Coda wordlessly slides her long digits along the apron as she slowly marches towards the steel steps with grace. Once she removes her jacket and places it neatly beside the steel steps, the stoic newcomer to the CWC climbs the apron and steps over the second rope with an unspoken confidence. As her boots meet the canvas, Coda loosens her surgical mask so it falls to her neck like a neckerchief The symphony comes to an end as Coda raises the microphone she was holding to her parted lips.
Coda: I do not often speak, however, considering I am in a new place of work unfamiliar with who I am aside from a couple strokes of dominance against Vitor Mata, Warren Corbett, Elodie & Havyn Black... I have deemed it necessary that I explain myself.
The newcomer's unusual speech pattern was prominent and her almost monotone delivery spoke volumes. Her voice was sweet and her dark eyes scanned the crowd. She refused to keep eye contact with a single person, opting to run her hand gracefully across the top rope as she tried to collect her thoughts amidst the chaos of the night.
Coda: You may call me Coda. I am aware you do not wish to know about my actions elsewhere but suffice it to say, I have been building my strength within the professional circuit. I have not yet wrestled within the confines of televised professional wrestling for a year and I have since proved strong enough to challenge and defeat countless accomplished opponents since my tenure began.
She rookie paused, her long digits wrapping around the rope fully now.
Coda: This is not a brag, mind you. I speak in absolutes. I see no reason for much else.
The Destroyer's stoic expression hadn't changed.
Coda: Why have I made such an arrival in CWC? Why was I not satisfied fighting mediocre opponents elsewhere within the small bubble I have referred to as my home federation? I grew tired of waiting. I grew bored of awaiting a proper challenger who would push me to my limits and I have contacted Nathan Callaghan in private. It did not take long before we were discussing the nature of my contract and as I am sure you saw... I have decided to make my presence known when I attacked Vitor Mata and Warren Corbett after their noteworthy bout for the Anarchy Championship.
The crowd looked on as Coda explained herself to the crowd in her own particular way.
Coda: Keep this in mind: I have waited for the match to conclude before I have made an appearance. I have waited for the two to decide on a champion and once the final bell rang, I had deemed the two of them worthy after their close contest. I have deemed the two of them strong enough to be competition which would, in turn, make me stronger after the conflict but the two of them have failed to fight back on this initial night. This was disappointing.
Coda paced the mat slowly as she watched her feet move below her.
Coda: For a moment... I had believed them unworthy. I had believed them incapable of defeating me or giving me an ounce of competition that I have come to CWC Liberty Pro to claim. This is, of course, until the two of them decided to put matters into their own hands once I have single-handedly defeated the wretched team of Elodie & Havyn Black who could not survive three minutes in the ring with me.
Her eyes flickered back to the crowd and she raised her head.
Coda: I am grateful. Vitor and Warren found it within themselves to fight back. Who would have thought this was a possibility? I have lit a fire within them. I have stroked the flame the two had for each other and aimed it squarely in my own direction. I wish to feel it. I wish to feel the intense loathing Vitor Mata has for The Society. I wish to feel The Society's wrath as Warren Corbett and the rest of his team face obscurity after being the lifeblood of Liberty Pro since its inception. I wish to grow stronger because of this conflict and it does not go further beyond this simple goal.
Precise in her wording and her movements, she scans her visage slowly across the crowd once again.
Coda: I will leave the pointless bickering to the others. I do not wish to take part in the squabble nor do I wish to choose a side. I came here to encounter competition and should standing in the crosshairs make me grow even more effective as a competitor, so be it.
The crowd watches on as Coda effortlessly speaks the words on her mind with a blunt matter-a-fact tone in every syllable.
Coda: Should retrieving Liberty Pro's Anarchy Championship in the meantime cause more challengers to approach me, it seems a worthy possession, yes?
With a subtle smile, she brushes the hair out of her eyes and tilts her head slightly before the smile disappears as quickly as it appeared in favor of the same emotionless glare.
Coda: Tonight... Zooey West-Jaa is my opponent. She is capable in the ring. I admire this. I am certain matches such as these are the reason I am glad to be on the Liberty Pro roster. I wish to prove my mettle against the likes of Ms. West-Jaa and many others who stand as some of the most dominant fighters in all of wrestling today who reside in the locker room as I speak. I wish to sharpen my skills so that I may be worthy of such praise from others who seek to fight me in the future.
She paused. She gripped the top rope once again and leaned forward towards the entrance ramp.
Coda: This does not mean I will not attempt to send Zooey West-Jaa to the ICU.
She smiles briefly once again but this time, it carries more sinister undertones before disappearing.
Coda: Do not take this personally. I wish to do the same to every opponent. I do not hold back. I do not falter in the heat of battle. Should you be as capable as I believe, you will be fine. Should you be able to withstand the punishment you are about to receive, you will even be stronger for it. However, the weak will not be so lucky. People such as these will not walk out on their own volition once our match has concluded.
She tilted her head slightly before straightening it back out.
Coda: You have promised me you would not hold back as well. I hope you keep this promise. Let us see what you can do. Let us see if you are worthy or as mediocre as the others.
With that, Coda wordlessly set the microphone down beside her and waited for Zooey to make her entrance.
MATCH SIX: SINGLES MATCH
Zooey West-Jaa vs Coda
wrote:
The pair put on a very athletic match, both showing the crowd what they are capable of, with sharp kick connections and rolling combinations not often seen inside a wrestling ring, despite keeping pace, Coda was not quite able to land any of her big moves, each time a duck or a tell allowing Zooey to out maneuver Coda who otherwise put in a very good showing against the far more experienced Zooey. Zooey of course using her advanced experience and ring awareness to counter Coda on each combination, landing a couple more shots in each exchange.
Zooey pulled back from the tight locks ups the pair had been drawn into, landing a solid kick to the ribs of Coda that sent her back a step or two, before she closed the distance once more, forcing her shoulder up and under the ribs of Zooey, who used her elbow to press down on the head of Coda, breaking the tie up as both backed off. A second kick, this time the flat of her foot square into the gut of Coda sent an expel of breath from Coda, who backed up winded, but Zooey drove her into the corner with a series of quick shots about the head, pushing her up against the turnbuckle she was warned off with a caution, backing up.
Coda used the moment to gain her breath and came at Zooey with a knee to the gut that left her reeling, bringing her down to her knees but making the mistake of taking pause, Zooey used the seconds to bring herself back to her feet, a blind heel kick still connecting with Codas jaw, though she managed to miss a portion of the contact, she was still left scrambling from the blow. The pair locked up once again, with Coda using a couple of stern calm kicks to send Zooey to her knees and then coming off the ropes with a jumping knee that didnt quite land, but hit just enough to send Zooey down on the canvas.
Picking up the pace Coda used some of her more alternative moves to bring Zooey down to the mat, aware that keeping the strike artist off her feet was her best shot at victory, after a near fall at a two count, Coda backed up to regroup for the match, allowing Zooey to lure her in, with a rolling headlock, Zooey kipped up and laid in wait, Coda walking into a Crane kick that sent her hard to the mat, Zooey making the cover for the three count.
WINNER: Zooey West-Jaa by pinfall @ 9:35
The match ends and Zooey celebrates her victory. Coda gets up to her feet and she stares Zooey down for a moment with her usual emotionless expression. Zooey walks up to Coda before she gives her a tap on the shoulder and nod before whispering something to her. Coda nods as well before she exits the ring and heads backstage.
BACKSTAGE
The feed cuts to backstage where Brendan Callaghan is happily eating a taco in the catering area. Its no secret that hes in a great mood today as hes finally getting a chance to face Scarlett Highland later tonight. He even waves at the crew members who passing by, even giving them a friendly wink. He reaches for a bottle of hot sauce and gives a good shake before layering some of it on the taco and taking a big bite, noisily munching away. Its then that his moment of happiness is interrupted as he hears the clearing of a familiar voice.
Scarlett Highland: Mmmmhmmm.
Brendan looks up, his cheeks all puffed up from the food in his mouth, and sees Scarlett Highland and what appears to be a police officer approaching.
Scarlett Highland: We need to have words. Put the taco down and stand up.
Scarlett Highland is wearing a black dress with matching, fashionable, knee high boots. She looks to the officer with a smile.
Scarlett Highland: Hows your night going, Bren-Bren?
Purposely ignoring her greetings, Brendan nonchalantly looks away and grabs the bottle again to put more hot sauce.
Brendan Callaghan: Whos your friend, Scarlett?
Scarlett Highland: Funny you should ask. Mr.Officer, shall you?
The officer holds a piece of paper towards Brendan, while reading from a separate piece of paper that Scarlett is holding up to his face.
Officer: Due to the unfortunate events and actions of last week where you nearly permanently damaged Miss Highlands hair, you are now being served with official paperwork. Miss Highland serves you with an order of protection for her hair. If you touch her hair, you will be subject to possible arrest. Do you understand?
Before Brendan can answer, Scarlett crumples the paper she was holding up and gets in Brendans face, the tiny, petite Trials champion with a huge grin as she points her index finger against his still fluffed cheeks.
Scarlett Highland: HE SAID DO YOU UNDERSTAND? O-M-G finish your food and answer!
Brendan cringes away and rubs his cheek vigorously like he just got poisoned.
Brendan Callaghan: Dont touch me, you witch!
He sets down the taco carefully on the table and sighs as he looks at her.
Brendan Callaghan: What kinda dumb shit is that? I cant touch your hair? Not that I want to, considering it looks like a rats nest, but how the hell am I supposed to not do that in a match? Sorry, no can do!
He shrugs and eats more taco.
Scarlett Highland: Youre dumber than I thought. Wow. Give me that.
She snatches the protective order from the officer and shoves it at the chest of Brendan.
Scarlett Highland: It wasnt an option. If you touch my hair tonight, I will press charges and you may end up doing time. Real, hard time where you have a cellmate named KevinJamal something who will LOVE to share a cell with such a Little Callaghan.
Brendan grimaces at the end there while Scarlett laughs as she keeps her hand and the paper against his chest. She turns her head slightly to the officer.
Scarlett Highland: Go.
The officer turns and walks away as Scarlett leans closer, gritting her teeth in a poor attempt to intimidate Brendan.
Scarlett Highland: You could have RUINED my hair last week, that could have been the end of my reality show. Tonight? Im ending you.
Brendan stares at Scarlett for a moment before bursting out laughing and pushing her hand away.
Brendan Callaghan: Are you kidding me, Highland? You end me? You started this whole thing by interfering with the gauntlet match. And yes, I remember you saying the ref forgot you were a participant but I dont believe you. To be honest, I dont even know what to believe anymore cause your whatever with my dad-- never mind! You started this so Im ending this.
He grabs the paper from her hand and glances at it.
Brendan Callaghan: Man, what the fuck even is this? You wanna be a champion so badly but you cant even let your hair get messed up? It was just water, Scarlett. Nobody cares. Just like they dont care about your dumb show. And besides, Im already fine with this match being a non-title contest. There wasnt any talk about this no touching hair thing so
He suddenly drops it as he takes a second to think.
Brendan Callaghan: Hmm you know what, forget what I said. As dumb as it is, fine. You get this one too. No touching the hair. Lets just get this over and done with.
Scarlett Highland: Perf, oh, and one more thing.
Scarlett steps past him and swipes his taco off the table, spilling the meat and shell onto the dirty floor. He dives down in a failed attempt to save it.
Scarlett Highland: See you out there, Bren-Bren.
Brendan Callaghan: Nooooooooooo!
She begins walking away while looking over her shoulder with an arrogant smirk. He looks up at her in utter disbelief as the scene cuts away.
BACKSTAGE
As Zooey heads down the hall towards her locker room, she once again feels the camera on her, turning to stare it down her face is set, the adrenaline from her match still coursing through her veins.
Zooey West-Jaa: What happened out there, was exactly what I told ya was gonna happen Coda; that is what happens when you waste time, talent and ability on people like Matt Shields, you get me, kid?
Zooey grabs the edges of the camera to pull it close as she stares down the lens.
Zooey West-Jaa: You lost that match before you ever stepped into the ring with me, underprepared - ya cant go on acting like every match is the same damn match, you follow me? When you decide you wanna better yourself; I run a gym in Chicago See ya there.
She slaps the camera away and heads off down the hall, out of focus from the camera.
MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES MATCH
Scarlett Highland vs Brendan Callaghan
wrote:
The bell rings as Brendan Callaghan is nearly licking his lips at the chance of getting his hands on Scarlett Highland. Callaghan wastes no time as he runs towards her, but Scarlett shrieks and sticks her head between the top and middle ropes as the referee pushes Brendan back. Keep him away from me! Scarlett barks at the official as she pulls her head back up and leans against the corner. Brendan spots his opportunity and again charges towards the Trials champion in this non-title match and again, Scarlett ducks between the ropes as the referee again steps between the two competitors. Brendan stomps his feet, clearly irritated by the games that Highland is playing early on.
As Callaghan argues his point with the referee, Scarlett runs forward and behind the refs back, sticks a finger into the eye of Brendan. Callaghan stumbles back into a corner and Highland stalks forward unleashing kick after kick to the ribs of Callaghan who crumbles to the mat. Scarlett takes a few steps back and then charges forward, running and connecting with a dropkick, sandwiching Brendans head between her boots and the bottom turnbuckle. She pulls him away from the corner and goes for a cover but only picks up a two count. Scarlett throws a mini tantrum and pounds the mat in frustration.
Highland mocks Brendan, who cant touch her hair per the protective order given to him earlier, as she picks him up by his hair. Hows that feel? she taunts, but her words seem to motivate Brendan who fires off a forearm to her face, breaking her grip from his hair. Brendan then runs and hits a clothesline that flattens the Trials champion as the fans stand to their feet. He goes to grab her hair to pick her up and then stops and sighs, remembering the no-hair touching clause. His moment of pausing gives Scarlett a chance to kick his leg, bringing him to his knee. Scarlett then gets up but Brendan lunges forward, rising up and wrapping his arms around Scarlett who screams. He then slams her to the mat with a belly to belly suplex.
With the fans fired up, Brendan also feels the momentum as Scarlett is squirming around on the mat. As she begins standing slowly, he looks around at all sides of the ring, taking in the faces of all of the fans. He screams this is for my taco! but then notices Scarlett on her feet. She screams and charges at him but he ducks out of the way and Scarlett crashes into the referee in the corner!
With the referee and Scarlett down, Brendan slides out of the ring and reaches under it, pulling out a black cloth bag. He slides back into the ring as Scarlett groggily makes it to her feet. As she turns to face Brendan, he carefully slides the bag over her head without touching her hair. He then grabs her and hits his Southie Glory! The referee begins stirring as Brendan slides the bag off before the ref can see it and tosses it out of the ring. With Scarlett out on the mat, Brendan hooks a leg and picks up the three count and the victory over the reality show starlet.
WINNER: Brendan Callaghan by pinfall @ 13:35
Brendan stands up and raises his hands in the air in victory before jumping up and down. He bends down and rubs it in Scarletts face, causing her to look up at him and scowl before quickly rolling out of the ring as Brendan continues to laugh.
BACKSTAGE
Coral and Nami Azul are seen prancing down the hallways backstage, ignoring most of the people there unless they are greeted positively, then they turn identical glowing smiles to whoever it is that they think are showing them some worship. They are dressed more identically than usual, instead of reverse colors on their ring gear they are wearing identical Dreamsicle Orange and Cream outfits and giggling just a little. They spy a camera operator and pen him in, not that he seems to mind, and Coral starts talking a little bit over-excited as she bounces in a way that makes her firm breasts jiggle.
Coral Azul: So here we are! Tonight we get to team with THE Tag Team Champions of Liberty Pro Wrestling, Team Snapback, and we watched them last week successfully defend their titles add our undefeatedness in TWO companies into the mix? Why wouldnt we be eager, why wouldnt we be excited as well as downright gleeful to get out there in the ring?
Nami nods before she pipes up, her voice just as excited.
Nami Azul: This is like watching the best waves come in over and over again. So were facing a stable, right? That whole
Nami holds up her hands and makes air quotes and rolls her eyes.
Nami Azul: HASHTAG The Society but you know, for as much as theyre going to bray off like a bunch of drunken fratboys, girls, whatever, were sure either way theyre going to run their mouths tonight just like they TRIED to on Social Media .
They grin and giggle before speaking together.
Coral and Nami Azul: HASHTAG FAIL!
Coral dissolves into giggling as Nami continues.
Nami Azul: Look, we get it. You got picked on in your lives, you got outcasted, somebody turned down your daddys stolen credit card at Hot Topic
They snicker but Coral holds up the hand of reason.
Coral Azul: Now now, thats considered bullying, Nami. Were not supposed to call people Goth, Emo, Skank, Sleezoid, Barney, Melvin, and or Loser.
Nami gives a super fake innocent look, blinking her pretty eyes.
Nami Azul: But Coral, what if they ARE all those things?
They laugh again, but then turn a little more serious, linking their arms as they get ready to walk away.
Coral Azul: All fun and games aside, yes we know who and what you are, Becky, Seth, Warren and even brand newbie Elodie. We have seen you here, there, everywhere. Weve seen your ups and downs. Weve seen Becky get her booty kicked by Cassius Reed and weve seen that same Becky rise up and be a CHAMPION. We dont have our heads stuck in the sand, or up a cults backside, we didnt start out as wrestlers, true. But we got trained by one of the best, and every graduate of his school has worn championship gold.
She shrugs and they turn in unison, but before they skip away Nami turns and looks over her shoulder with a wink.
Nami Azul: Thats food for thought!
Skip skip skip bounce!
MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH
Finn Brady vs Colt Brady
wrote:
The two brothers circle up in the middle of the ring, Finn looking unsure about the match with his brother and Colt looking more than ready to tear into his younger brother. As Colt goes for the more direct attack approach, Finn goes for the hit and run style, not really wanting to engage with his brother. But all this does is anger Colt who becomes more and more aggressive. Finn keeps using his superior agility to keep space between himself and Colt but Colt is able to grab ahold of Finn and use his technical ability to work over his brother and keep the pressure on. But Finn is able to connect with a springboard forearm smash and looks for The Brady Bread Cutter (Standing Sitout Shiranui) which causes Cami McGatha to come down to the ring.
Cami gets on the apron and argues with Finn. The distraction leads to Colt getting up and trying to level Finn, who moves, Colt just stops before hitting Cami. But Finn flips over with the Pele kick and hits Cami instead of Colt. The older Brady looks down to see Cami dropped to the arena floor. Colt then goes into a rage and beats on his brother causing the official to try to break it up. Colt pushes the official away drawing the disqualification.
WINNER: Finn Brady by disqualification @ 3:26
While Colt beats on Finn, Cami enters the ring with a steel chair and hands it to Colt, who starts to smash it on the back on the downed Finn. Colt hooks the chair around the neck on his younger brother and presses his boot on it with just enough pressure to lightly choke him and nothing more. Cami gets him a microphone and just as Colt starts to talk, Izzi Grimes rushes the ring but gets speared by Cami. McGatha sits on the back of Izzi and pulls her head up by her hair to get eye to eye with the trapped Finn.
Colt Brady: Good your little bitch can be here to hear this too. You dont get it do you Finn? We had those tag belts won but you fucked us against The Legacies. You couldnt get your shit together and now Camis best friend got fired from the company. And then when we actually win the titles? You get us beat and we lose them right away. You wonder why I can only trust Cami here? Shes never fucked me over Finn she all but gave me her championship and then was happy to do it!
Colt pushes on the chair more, causing Finn to struggle and fight to breathe. All Izzi can do is cry and watch with Cami keeping her firmly down.
Colt Brady: You are the weaker brother, Finn! You dont have that killer instinct to get shit done thats needed here in Liberty! So the Brady Brothers? They are no more.
Colt drops down so he is face to face with Finn.
Colt Brady: Have fun doing ANYTHING here without me Im done carrying your dead weight!
Colt stands up and stomps hard on the chair, causing Finn to kick and flail wildly. Cami let's go of Izzi who covers up Finn and gets the chair off his neck. Medical staff comes out to the ring to tend to Finn as Colt and Cami walk up the ramp with smiles on their faces.
BACKSTAGE
Screaming Voice: Get the FUCK out of here!
A locker room door swung open and out stumbled a cameraman, dropping his expensive piece of equipment in the process. A second cameraman came closer to see what was the cause of the commotion. Becky Balfour-Lawless stepped out of the locker room and spotted the second camera, running towards the operator of the equipment who stumbled back into a wall. Becky cornered him and stared straight into the camera.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: You guys want a scoop? Is that it? In my first match back after losing what I held dearly, you want a fuckin' comment?
Balfour-Lawless sneered for the camera and then grabbed the man by his shoulders as the camera was now right in her face.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: Melissa Reeves took something valuable to me. Not only did it make US relevant, but then I made IT relevant. Now, there is debate on if I'm getting a rematch, if I'm signing over the rights to my rematch to my husband, but you won't have any answers, until I get my answers. Tonight isn't about that. Tonight is about Nathan Callaghan taking his fingers out of his ass long enough to throw me and my family into a match with two tag teams thrown together randomly in the hopes that they can knock us down again...but here's the thing, no matter how many times we get knocked down? We ALWAYS get back up. Do you?
Without further warning, Becky grabs the camera and shoves the man to the ground. She walks back over to the first cameraman that she had thrown out of her locker room. The man was on his back, holding his hand as Becky approached and put her black boot on his chest and shoved the camera right in his face.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: How does it feel? To have a camera thrown in your face like an animal? To trap you, against your will and force you to answer questions?
The man protests and screams but Becky puts her foot down tighter on his chest.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: It doesn't feel good, does it? Tell the Girls of Summer and Team Snapback how it feels. I don't care if one of those teams are the Liberty tag team champions, they aren't us. Those two teams together, will be unable to match the bond that we share as a family, as a team...as one unit. Tonight, we'll show the world that we can lose our championships, we can lose a match, but we will never lose our way. But you?...You lose.
Becky dropped the camera onto the ground as the scene went to static.
#The Society (Becky, Seth, Warren & Elodie) vs Team Snapback & Girls of Summer
wrote:
The match kicks off with Elodie and Coral Azul circling one another. They get into a collar-and-elbow tie up. Elodie backs Coral up into the ropes before throwing her across the ring and Azul rebounds with a shoulder block. Azul puts Elodie into the corner and hits a monkey flip before tagging out to Nami. It looks like theres gonna be an early finish to the match as Nami blasts Elodie with a high knee and goes for the pin, but its broken up just before the three by Lawless.
Nami throws Elodie into the ropes, allowing for Warren to tag himself into the match. A back body drop sends Elodie flying, but Nami is unaware of the tag as Warren Corbett in the ring as he sends her across the ring with a release German suplex. She gets right back on her feet, but Warren pulls her in for a snap brainbuster and pins her for a two count. Corbett goes to pick Azul up, but gets his eyes raked instead. Azul flips Corbett over with a snapmare and applies a chinlock.
She tries to wear Warren out, but he eventually overpowers her and gets back to his feet, driving his elbow into Namis ribs. He throws her into the ropes, trying for a back body drop, but Azul floats over into a sunset flip and pins him! But Corbett is able to kick out just at the two count. Nami wastes no time heading over and bringing in Avery Smith. Avery catches Warren with an arm drag and a follow up dropkick that knocks him back into the corner.
Avery charges in, but Warren is ready as he brings his boot up and Smith runs right into it. Shes dazed just enough for Corbett to lift Smith up and plant her with a sitout powerbomb! He holds on for the pin, but Avery breaks out of the pin just before the three. Warren drags her over to his corner and tags out to Becky Balfour. She comes right in, putting the boots to Smith until the referee warns Balfour off. Becky drags Avery to the center of the ring, trying for her snap DDT, but Smith is quick enough to reverse it into a Northern Lights suplex!
She tries to follow up, picking Becky up, but only gets a shot to the midsection for it. Avery stumbles back into the ropes, but regains her balance for the One Hit Wonder (Pendulum Lariat)! Avery goes for the pin, but Warren breaks it up before the three. Smith hits a quick knee drop and rolls over, tagging in Emily Jackson. Jackson gets down and tries putting Balfour in a sleeper hold, but Becky is able to get out of it and spins Emily around for a snap DDT!
Pulling Jackson over to #TheSociety corner, Balfour brings in Seth Lawless. Seth puts Emily into the corner, driving his shoulder into her midsection repeatedly before pulling her out with a snap suplex. He tries for a pin, but only gets a two. Lawless picks Jackson up by her hair, signaling for the end, and throws her into the ropes looking for Detroit is Burning! But Emily floats over and lands on her feet, dropping Seth with a Russian legsweep! She hooks his legs for a two count.
Emily tries to keep her momentum going as she picks Seth back up, but hes ready as he drills her with a knee to her stomach. A lariat knocks Jackson to the mat and a elbow drop afterwards keeps her down. Seths starting to feel it as he picks Emily up off the mat and to his surprise, shes got some fight as she slaps him across the face! But he throws a hard elbow in return before Lawless throws Jackson into the ropes and gets her up for Detroit is Burning (Pop Up Powebomb)! The rest of #TheSociety get into the ring to prevent a break as the referee counts to three.
WINNERS: #TheSociety by pinfall @ 14:47
The bell sounds and Seth rises to his feet, having his hand raised in victory by the referee. The rest of #TheSociety join him in his celebration as the crowd boo. As they make their way out of the ring, Avery Smith is quick to check on her downed partner. Avery helps Emily up to her feet just as the Girls of Summer enter the ring.
They obviously look less than thrilled over the result and start pointing fingers at Team Snapback, blaming them for the loss. It turns into a shoving match between the two teams! But cooler heads manage to prevail as Avery acts like the adult of the situation, stepping away from the two, and helping Emily out of the ring
BACKSTAGE
The camera switches backstage and finds Melissa Reeves standing alongside her rumoured boyfriend, Cade Harrison. She is in her ring gear, plus a Liberty t-shirt, and is warming up for her match a little later.
Melissa: It's just frustrating, you know? I fight a hard match, fight to retain that Liberty Championship...
She points to the title, sat beside Cade.
Melissa: And all I get for that is Gavin telling me it was a pity match and Becky using my gold to smack me in the face.
Cade nods.
Cade: Of course. But you're the champion, people fear and respect that. That's why you've got the target on your back. And someone like Becky? She knows she can't take you head on, so that's why she has to do what she does.
Melissa shrugs, but continues to stretch her thighs.
Melissa: I know. At least I can be sure that Ashleigh won't pull stunts like that. Well, I think. Hope. I guess this industry makes people do...strange things, maybe it's a mistake to ever trust anyone here.
Cade shakes his head.
Cade: There are good people in the industry. I would know, I'm looking at one right now.
She stops and scoffs, before shyly chuckling.
Melissa: Shut up.
He vehemently shakes his head and his face turns to a frown.
Cade: No, but seriously, not everyone is a Becky Balfour or a, ugh, Cass Baumer.
She pauses to think, but nods.
Melissa: I suppose not. Still, it seems every friend I make in this industry either fades away or sticks around long enough to become an enemy.
She sighs and shakes her head.
Cade: Fair weather friends, then. You don't need them. Same as you don't pay attention to all the randoms trying to call you out and distract, trying to claw their way into relevance and title contention. Because what you do is what you've always done; you put your head down, you come in, do the work and you do it well. You're focused, maybe more than anyone else here, and that's what makes you a winner.
Melissa stops her stretch and gently thumps his arm.
Melissa: Don't let it get to your head that you're right here.
He chuckles, finally loosening from the stern look he'd developed whilst talking about Becky and Cass.
Cade: You know I would never.
She raises a brow and they both laugh. As the laughter dies, his face becomes a little more serious.
Cade: Now, tonight, that's going to be a challenge. But I know you're ready for Ashleigh. It'll be a big win, too.
Melissa: It will...
She nods her agreement.
Melissa: Ash is one of the few people in Liberty who I hold a genuine respect for. Not just as a competitor, but as a person. I guess I look at her, and her troubles with injury and the like, and I sort of see myself a little. I know she's striving to be more. I know she wants to really shine and be a top star. But I also know that today just cannot be her chance to do that. And you're right, it is a big match. One of the biggest Liberty could give me, really. But last week's match, against Gavin, was massive. And I won that. So I know that tonight, I can win again.
Cade: Exactly. And it's another win under your belt, another name in the record book as someone you defeated. It's another brick into the legacy you're building.
Melissa: Yeah...it's more than all that, though. I requested this match. Beating Ashleigh is a reminder to everyone that I AM the Liberty Champion, and not for no reason. It's a demonstration of my ability to beat even the other champions in the company. It shows why I'm the top on the food chain. And yes, I know there are plenty on the roster who are barking at me. I hear the words. I just don't rise to them. If they want a shot at my title, they need to earn that, not just bark for it. Me? I earned my way, always. Number one contender matches, suffering through being cheated and fighting to claim another, fair shot. That is my way.
Cade smirks wide and stands, nodding.
Cade: I know, babe. And it's the way it should be, I wouldn't ever want you to be any other way.
Melissa: I don't know what I'd do without you, Cade. Your support means so much to me.
Cade: It's yours, always. You know that.
She slowly nods again and wraps him up into a hug, before spotting the camera and hesitantly pulling back.
Melissa: I, uh...I need to go get fully ready. I'll see you after the match?
She eyes toward the camera and Cade notices, immediately understanding.
Cade: Sure, good luck.
She smiles.
Melissa: Thank you!
With that, she walks from the room - looking back as the camera follows her part way. It pans back to find Cade barging past, not at all interested in being filmed. The scene fades.

Melissa Reeves vs Ashleigh Powell
wrote:

Ashleigh quickly rolls Mel over onto her back, holding her shoulders down for a pin. Mel kicks out after out quickly after one. Reeves grabs Ashs head and pulls it face down against the mat. Reeves quickly slides up to her knees as she lets go of Powells head. Melissa then runs to the ropes and comes back before she connects with a dropkick to the back of Ashleigh Powell as she got to her feet. Ashleigh arches her back in pain as Mel wastes little time and stays on her attack. She charges the ropes in front of Powell and returns with an step up enziguri, dropping Ashleigh to her back and Mel goes for the quick cover but Powell kicks out after two.
Melissa doesnt let up and immediately sends a hard stomp to Powells chest after getting up to her feet. She sends a second stomp, and then a third stomp. Powell holds her chest as she sits up. Melissa pulls Ashleigh up to her feet and shoots her off into the ropes and when Ash comes back, Reeves takes her down with a hip toss. Ashleigh is able to quickly bounces up to her knees as Melissa charges and nails her with a dropkick to the face. Mel goes for the cover and once again the Gotham Champion kicks out after two. Melissa gets up on her feet and goes to pick Ashleigh up but she counters and sweeps Melissa off of her feet with a leg sweep. Ashleigh grabs Melissa by the hair and pulls her up to her feet, and hits a European Uppercut.
Melissa stumbles back a couple of steps. Grabbing Mels head, Ashleigh spins her and nails an inverted DDT. Ashleigh goes for the cover but the Liberty Champion kicks out after the two count. Ashleigh gets back up to her feet as she pulls Mel back up off of the canvas. Ashleigh lifts her back up as he hits a Reverse STO dropping her back to the mat, Ash goes for another pin but Melissa kicks out after two once again. Powell gets up to her feet as she pulls Melissa up again. Ash whips Mel across the ropes and she rebounds but is able to hit a running crossbody. Mel drives Powell down to the mat and lands on top of her for the pin but Ashleigh kicks out after two.
Powell uses the ropes to pull herself up as Melissa quickly gets up as well. Melissa heads towards Ash and tries to get behind her for a suplex but Powell grips onto the ropes sending Reeves tumbling backwards as she tries to pull at Ashleigh's back. Ash uses the bottom rope to springboard off of it and she takes Melissa out with a clothesline, dropping her down hard onto the mat. Ashleigh scrambles and makes the pin, hooking a leg but Reeves kicks out after two. With Melissa still on the mat, Ashleigh tries to get to her feet again as Melissa reaches up and pulls Ashleigh back down with a schoolboy pin. Reeves gets a two count before Powell kicks out once again. Both of them lie out on the mat in exhaustion as the ref begins a ten count. When the count hits six, Melissa slowly gets up to her knees.
Powell is able to get up to her feet by pushing off of her hands at the seven count. As Ash stands up, Melissa is up as well. Melissa leaps up at Powell and goes for a Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) but Powell catches her in the air. Powell lifts her up and tosses her back up over her head and she lands hard on her back. Powell puts Melissa in a sharpshooter and Reeves yells out in agony. The Liberty Champion crawls towards the ropes, crying to break the hold but Ashleigh pulls her away. Melissa looks as if shes ready to tap but shes able to twist onto her back and finally push Ashleigh off. Melissa gets back to her feet and Ashleigh charges her and goes for a clothesline that Reeves ducks under. Ash turns around and shes met by a leaping Reeves, who hits her with Facial Deconstructor. Mel pins Ash and the count hits three, giving the Liberty Champion the hard fought victory over the Gotham Champion.
WINNER: Meliss Reeves by pinfall @ 18:49
Melissa is announced as the winner and shes given her Liberty Championship which she raises in the air. Ashleigh Powell soon gets up to her feet and is handed her title as well, which she puts on her shoulder. The two competitors stare each other down before they walk towards each other and the two friends embrace in a tight hug, much to the delight of the crowd. The two then raise each others hands in the air but their celebration is cut short when Becky Balfour and Seth Lawless slide into the ring and attack them both from behind. Becky drops Melissa with Scream for Me (Reverse DDT) before Seth drops Powell with Detroit is Burning (Pop up Powerbomb). Becky grabs Melissas championship and holds it in the air over her as Seth does the same with Ashleighs Gotham Championship. That is the final shot of the show as it goes off of the air.

The big screen then turned on and Larclan was shown knocked out backstage with a bent chair next to him. The camera then moved back to Felix who smirked and shrugged innocently. Felix dominated the match with Joey before he nailed him with the Falcon Call Falcon Call (Omega Driver).
