These days, Chuck Matthews spends most of his time as the CEO of Matthews Enterprises, a global tech conglomerate headquartered in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. However, Chuck is no stranger to the wrestling world. Considered by many to be one of the smartest men in the business, Chuck has carved his name into the wrestling industry through a career that's spanned across several companies and nearly two decades of competition. He is a two-time Hall of Famer, an eight-time world champion, and has taken on many roles throughout the years, from in-ring competitor to general manager, to commentator, and now, as the owner of the Empire Pro Wrestling half of Liberty. Though he's arranged for Robb Hardy to take care of business so Chuck himself can focus on his own company, Chuck owns the rights to the Empire Pro Wrestling name and archives, and is the primary financial backer of Empire's latest resurgence.
