LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...
LIBERATION: EPISODE FOURTEEN
LIVE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16TH, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK
PRE SHOW: SINGLES MATCH
Helena Noir vs Romeo Black
wrote:
The match between Helena Noir and Romeo Black was a back and forth affair but it wasnt long until Helena began to pick up steam against Romeo. He fought back valiantly, almost hitting his Blackout finish but Helena dodged it before she took Romeo out with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke), which he would succumb to and tap out.
WINNER: Helena Noir by submission @ 7:54
Helena Noir is breathing hard in the ring following her match, but her fight is far from over as Isabella Strickland jumps her from behind! Not too far behind is Anastasia Hayden, watching on as her friend puts her boots to the downed Helena. Ana takes a seat up on the top turnbuckle, watching on as Isy sets Helena up for the Lady Death (Vertical Suplex Piledriver)! Once the chaos settles down, Strickland takes a microphone from a ring crew member as the Liberty fans boo.
Isabella Strickland: Well...great seeing you again, Helena! It was fun letting you run your mouth without consequence, but you knew this was coming, right? Im sure the cards warned you about this one, but dont feel too bad...theres nothing you could have to prepare for me. So with that in mind...I figure nows as good a time as any to formally issue my challenge to you.
Isabella smiles as the crowd keeps booing and in retaliation, she puts another boot to Helena. She brushes her hair out of her face and puts up an arrogant grin.
Isabella Strickland: So lets do this. Lets go ahead and settle this at the supershow. You keep running your mouth, Helena, its obviously what youre best at. And Ill do what Im best at...which is kicking your ass! Itd be in your best interest Helena to keep your lips sealed and spare yourself from an even worse beating. Matter of fact...dont accept my challenge.
Leaning over, looking right at Noir, Stricklands face grows serious.
Isabella Strickland: Save yourself from anymore danger.
And with that, Isy drops the microphone down onto Helena before rolling out of the ring with Anastasia in tow as the two celebrate with quick high five as the ring crew attends to the hurt Noir before we cut elsewhere.
BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson: How do I get better?
Emily looked at her title and shook her head.
Emily Jackson: This needs to change, Ave and I are the champions and well we might not have looked like it the past few shows and we have just let the Girls of Summer get into our head. They are the ones that we will have to fight soon to keep our titles and quite frankly they are way ahead of us right now. Tonight we have another tough task in front of us with Cami and Colt.
She looked at the title once again and clutched it close to her.
Emily Jackson: Those two have also held this title before they know what it is to be a champion, and yet I am still disappointed in what I have done, and I need to get better and Ave needs to get better, and with the Girls of Summer on the commentary we need to show them how damn good we are.
She snaps her fingers as she walks off.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts backstage and the camera finds Melissa Reeves lying down on the floor unconscious next to her gym bag, she was obviously attacked as she walked into the building. Nathan Callaghan soon walks into the picture and he quickly kneels down and checks on Melissa.
Nathan Callaghan: Melissa? Mel!? What happened?
Melissa doesnt respond as Nathan stands up and screams at a backstage worker.
Nathan Callaghan: Hey! You! Get off your lazy fucking ass and get some medical help for our champion. Are you deaf!? GO!!!
Nathan goes back to checking on Melissa before the scene fades out.
MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH
Keisha Quickens vs. Isla Carter
wrote:
The match between Keisha and Isla was over almost as soon as it started. As soon as the bell rang, Isla sprinted towards Keisha and went for a clothesline but Keisha ducked under it. When Isla turned around, Keisha took her out with an enziguri. Isla then got up to her knees and Keisha nailed her with the Quiksand (Buzzsaw Kick), nailing it straight to the temple. Keisha pinned Isla and picked up the three count, having one of the most impressive debuts in recent memory.
WINNER: Keisha Quickens by pinfall @ 00:42
Keisha raised her hand in victory and celebrated in the middle of the ring as she was announced the winner.
PRE-RECORDED
'A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland' flashes over the big screen in pink, bubbly letters as the fans cheer mostly, as some others boo. The shot then switches to a pre-recorded video.
Scarlett Highland: Heyyy everyone, it's your favorite reality starlet, Scarlett! Now, today's episode is really special to me because it's how to beat a champion...like SCARLETT HIGHLAND!
Scarlett is standing by a pink bicycle as the scene fades out. The starlet has on a pink helmet and pink and white running shoes as well as pink shorts.
Scarlett Highland: This one probably won't be easy. Today, I'm competing against a CHAMPION cyclist in Los Angeles. This guy has beaten EVERYONE he has ever went against, and I have to admit, I'm a little nervous, but I'm a champion, so going up against another champion? Shouldn't be a problem. Not if you're me.
Highland laughs and sits on the bike, placing both feet on the ground.
Scarlett Highland: It's time to meet our champion cyclist, are you guys ready?
The crowd that has gathered around cheers as Scarlett clears her throat.
Scarlett Highland: Without further ado, meet 4 year old Los Angeles tricycle champion, Todd Holden!
A young boy rides up on a tricycle, next to Scarlett's pink bicycle. Scarlett smirks as someone walks over and whispers something into her ear.
Scarlett Highland: Sorry, slight error on my part, his name is actually Tyler Holden, but either way, he's a champion! How does it feel to be the best TRICYCLIST in all of LA?
The shy little boy doesn't say anything, and instead, he starts pedaling past her. Scarlett quickly hurries talking into the microphone she was holding.
Scarlett Highland: There's a finish line just ahead, and it appears this little guy wins by CHEATING, I mean, clearly all of you saw him take off before I even said go right? The nerve of the brat!
Scarlett tosses the microphone to an observer and begins pedaling as fast as she can. It isn't long before the Liberty Trials champion passes the young tricyclist. She crosses the finish line well before the boy and asks for another microphone. The video cuts to the boy crossing the finish line with Scarlett standing there next to her bike.
Scarlett Highland: Good job little guy, but cheating never gets anyone anywhere!
She laughs as the little boy begins crying and is helped away by his parents.
Scarlett Highland: Since this will be airing at the Liberty show, I have a special message for Ashleigh Powell, I eat champions for breakfast, okay? I have the heart of a champion and I'm THE champion of Liberty. Our match is only a headline match because I'm in it, because let's be honest, would ANYONE pay money to see Ashleigh Powell in a headline contest?
Scarlett flips her hair and shakes her head.
Scarlett Highland: That was a rhetorical question, the obvs answer is NO, they wouldn't. So Ashleigh, I hope you paid attention to what I did to that little tricycle champion, because it's NOTHING compared to what I'm going to do to you when champion meets champion. This match might not be under Trials rules, but it doesn't mean I'm at a disadvantage, it just means I get to beat you on your own terms. Let's see what kind of champion you are when the match is over with.
Highland winks at the screen as it flashes back to her familiar logo with the name of her reality show.
Narration by Scarlett Highland: This has been a lesson on how to beat a champion, like Scarlett Highland. Toodles!
MATCH TWO: ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP ANYTHING GOES MATCH
Melissa Reeves vs Vitor Mata vs Coda vs Warren Corbett
wrote:
The three in the ring wait for the arrival of the Anarchy Champion Melissa Reeves, but as time passes, it becomes increasingly clear that she wont be making her way to the ring. With that being the case, the match is still on, and declared a triple threat match with a new champion set to be crowned. And as soon as the bell sounds, its evident itll be a war to become the new champion as Vitor Mata and Warren Corbett waste little time going after one another while Coda stands back and observes the violence.
The two hosses exchange elbows and forearms before Vitor backs Warren into the ropes, sending him across the ring, and drops him with a clothesline. This is when Coda strikes with a series of shoot kicks to Vitors legs, trying to chop him down. Her strikes are relentless and eventually, she gets Mata down to a knee before taking him down with a dropkick. Before she can do anymore, Corbett is back as he throws Coda across the ring with a German suplex. She rolls up to the corner and gets her boots up to stun a charging Warren, popping up to the top, and coming off with a crossbody, but Corbett catches her! And he runs over with a powerslam, slamming Coda right onto Mata!
He tries a pin on Coda, but just gets a two out of it. Pushing her out of the ring, Corbett goes back to Mata, lifting him up, but gets a European uppercut for his efforts. Vitor hits a second that spins Warren around, letting Mata grab his wrist, and pull him in for a Pantera Negra (Short-arm Elbow)! Mata drops and Corbett makes a pin! One! Two! THRE-NO! Coda breaks the pin up with a senton onto Vitor. As Matastarts to recover, Codas there with a chop block to take him right down.
A dropkick sends him into the corner and she uses the opportunity to start choking him out! And as soon as she release her hold, shes lifted up by Warren in a powerbomb position! But Coda fights out of it as she starts raining punches down onto him. As he drops her, Coda runs the ropes for a shoulder block that leaves Warren standing. She goes for a second and then a third finally that knocks him back into the turnbuckles. Hes resting in just the right spot for Coda to come in Symphonic Elbow (Running Discus Elbow Smash)!
Again, Corbett drops and as Coda tries for a pin, but Mata comes out of nowhere with his Vitória (Chaos Theory)! Coda lands right on her neck as Vitor holds on for the pin following the German suplex! ONE! TWO! THRE-NO! She just kicks out! And Vitor cant believe it as he starts arguing with the referee. As he does so, hes blasted with a steel chair across the back! Warren crashes the chair across Vitors head next before delivering a blow across a downed Codas back that bends the chair.
Despite it being warped, Corbett sets the damaged chair up and lifts Mata up. He throws Vitor into the ropes and catches him on the rebound with The Battle Axe (Spinning High Impact Spinebuster) right onto the chair! Matas head bounces off the edge of it and he completely obliterates the chair in the process. Picking Coda up, Corbett throws her to the outside before making the pin! ONE! TWO! THREE!
WINNER and NEW ANARCHY CHAMPION: Warren Corbett by pinfall @ 16:34
Codas just a split second too late sliding back into the ring as Warren Corbett picks up the win. The referee hands the Anarchy Championship over to him and he holds it up for the world to see as a stoic Coda watches on.
BACKSTAGE
The cameras find Coral and Nami Azul in the back as they finish getting ready for their appearance tonight - as special guests on commentary tonight they clearly want to look their best. Coral is standing in front of a propped up iPhone, and clearly speaking to someone possibly on FaceTime the deep voice thats answering is a clue as to who theyre speaking to as they get dressed. Nami zips up the back of Corals little black dress and then turns to have her sister do the same for her before they both do the bend and snap test in front of the phone. At the appreciative applause they giggle and turn back, linking their arms as Coral speaks.
Coral Azul: Were so excited! Weve never gotten to do anything like this before, and I promise well do a good job!
Nami nods enthusiastically as Coral bounces a little.
Nami Azul: It helps that weve beaten Team Snapback, too. No I mean really! Because we can sort of critique their choices of moves for the poor fans that might not know what they are!
Coral gasps in mock surprise and looks at Nami, the grin on her face giving away her humor though.
Coral Azul: Thats the most selfless act! Its positively charity! Its Im so proud to be your twin!
Nami leans in close to the phone, accidentally giving a perfect view down the front of her dress as she grins.
Nami Azul: I feel a little bad for Colt Brady and Cami McGatha though, I mean they dropped what theyre calling deadweight right, Finn and Izzi? But what if
She taps her chin thoughtfully as Coral picks up what shes putting down with a fake gasp.
Coral Azul: ...what if they were actually the deadweight!
Coral and Nami Azul: WHAT A TWIST!
The pair giggle and bounce as that masculine voice chuckles and reminds them they need to leave the locker so theyre not late for the match and Coral scoops up the phone and slides it into her bra before the two bounce right out of the room.
-Fade-
BACKSTAGE
Seth Lawless: YET again the Society was robbed of what was ours.
Seth spits on the ground and shakes his head.
Seth Lawless: We fought tooth and nail for the chance to be the CWC Trios Champions and as soon as ALL of us escaped that damn cage we were then told that the titles would no longer be a title in this company. It is total bullshit and quite frankly I am a little pissed off about it. We should have those titles we should be the talk of the damn town. But no we were screwed, and yet no one gives a damn.
He shakes his head again as he cracks his knuckles.
Seth Lawless: That is why when I face Zooey I am going to destroy her. I am going to make her feel all of the pain that I have had and I am going to make her succumb to me. I get it that she wants to make a name for herself and she is going to put everything on the line for this match but it isn't going to be enough. There is a title shot on the line here and I am going to get it.
She smirks a bit and then nods his head.
Seth Lawless: I have worked hard for all of this and every damn step of the way I have been fucked over. It ends tonight I make a damn statement and that statement is bouncing her damn head off of the mat.
MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM MATCH
Colt Brady & Cami McGatha vs Team Snapback w/ Girls of Summer on commentary
wrote:
The match started off with Colt Brady taking on Emily Jackson. The two battle back and forth before Cody takes an upperhand and puts Emily in a hammerlock. Emily eventually counters and shoves Colt into the corner. Colt then bounces out and takes Emily down with a clothesline. He tags Cami in and they both take Emily out with a double suplex. Girls of Summer note how Cami and Colt are showing how well they work together as a team. Cami then starts to stomp down on Emily before the referee makes her back off. Cami picks Emily up and whips her into her corner. Colt wraps his arms around Emilys neck and keeps her there before Cam charges in and hits her with a spear into the corner. Emily drops and Cami pins but only gets a two. Cami tells Emily to stay down as she stomps on her more. Cami picks Emily up and whips her into her corner but Emily counters as she runs into the corner and takes Colt down with a forearm.
Cami charges at Emily and goes for another spear but Emily dives out of the way and Cami goes right into the turnbuckle, shoulder first. Emily crawls to her corner as Coral comments on how much stamina Emily has, just like their favorite boss. Emily then dives and tags Avery in as Cami gets up. Avery takes Cami out with a hanging DDT. Colt comes in and Avery takes him out with a dropkick. Avery then nails Cami with "Endgame" (Wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm bicycle knee strike). Before Avery can go for the pin, Colt slides in with a chair and swings it at Avery but Emily comes into the ring and dives forward, taking the blow for Avery. Avery turns around in surprise and Colt takes her out with the chair as well and the referee calls for the bell.
WINNERS: Team Snapback by DQ
Colt swings the chair into Averys back several times as Coral and Nami leave the announcers table and charge the ring. Colt tries to swing the chair at Coral but her and Nami hit Colt with in stereo sidekicks. Colt rolls out of the ring and when Cami gets up, Nami hits her with a running high knee to the face, sending Cami flying out of the ring. Avery is still knocked down from the multiple chairshots but Emily gets up and thanks Girls of Summer for their help. Coral and Nami smile at Emily before their faces get serious. Emily tries to get away but Coral and Nami hit her with their Stereo Sidekicks, knocking her out. Girls of Summer stand in the middle of the ring and raise their hands in the air with a mixture of cheers and boos coming from the crowd.
BACKSTAGE
The scene shows Brendan Callaghan backstage inside his locker room. Sitting on the floor, he looks around, presumably at the other participants of some sort of meeting.
Brendan Callaghan: Hello, everyone. Thank you for attending this meeting as Ive requested. As you are aware, my match tonight is with Isabella Strickland whom Ive faced a thousand times and beat a thousand times
He clears his throat.
Brendan Callaghan: Fine, maybe thats an exaggeration But lets focus on the more important stuff at hand, shall we?
He looks in the direction to his right and the camera pans to reveal a large grey cat sitting on the floor and facing the camera with a grumpy face. It pauses before panning back to Brendan who gives a deadpan look.
Brendan Callaghan: Yes, yes. I know your little buddy Ana will be in your corner as well. I was getting to that, chill!
The camera pans to the left where another cat looks up as it tilts its head, this time a tiny white kitten with black spots. The camera goes back to Brendan.
Brendan Callaghan: What? But you ARE tiny! Guess it makes sense why youd need Isabella to let you win in that #1 contenders match we had. Like you could do it on your own...
He smirks before continuing with the meeting.
Brendan Callaghan: Okay, now stop interrupting or this meeting will get nowhere. Like I said, its important that we meet tonight cause its just simply not fair, to me, that Isabella has Ana and Im gonna be all alone out there. I need someone to watch my back cause after what happened at Episode 11, you cant blame me for wanting to protect myself. So. Im not asking to remove Ana. Do what you want. But Im saying that there will be support in my corner. Fair, right? Any violent objections?
The camera pans to Isabella who just licks her paw, and then to Ana whos too busy playing with a toy. The camera moves back to Brendan who smiles before bringing out an orange tabby into the shot.
Brendan Callaghan: Well, that was easy! Alright, everyone! Meet Lasagna. Shell be in my corner tonight. Please play nice, okay?
A sudden cat growl can be heard, prompting Brendan to look up in the direction ahead of him. The camera pans to Isabella whos now licking her other paw and then turns another right to reveal a third cat, this one a rather fat black one, just staring as it continues to make that low-pitched sound. By this point, viewers know that Brendan and the cats are sitting in a circle.
Brendan Callaghan: Whoa, alright! Its cool, Dad! Lasagna is strictly here to protect me from Isabella and Ana. You dont even have to pay her. And besides, Im just ONE person, surely you can let me have this one?
The camera pans to Nathan who simply turns away, as if its so done with the conversation. The camera goes back to Brendan as he shrugs.
Brendan Callaghan: ...Ill take that as a yes.
Brendan looks down at Lasagna with a grin.
Brendan Callaghan: Now remember, Lasagna, those two may look nice but theyre really mean inside. So theres no telling how things are go down later. So Im gonna need you to watch my back, okay? Just meow as loud as you can! Can you do that for me?
Lasagna ignores as she walks away from him. He brings her back over. At this point, Ana is making her way over to Brendan.
Brendan Callaghan: Raise your right paw if you got that. Raise your left if you think my plan sucks.
As if response, Lasagna places her left paw on Brendans chest. Brendan stares back, offended. Isabella now follows behind Ana.
Brendan Callaghan: Wait whut
Suddenly, Isabella pounces on Ana as they start play fighting in front of Brendan, freaking out Lasagna who runs off. Meanwhile, the camera pans to Nathan who just sits there lazily, watching Brendan trying to calm all of them down. Lasagna enters Nathans space who clearly doesnt like it. With the cats now growling and hissing at one another, Brendan doesnt notice the door opening.
The real Nathan stands there, looking confused as hell at the commotion thats happening inside the room. When he spots Brendan trying to keep Lasagna away from Nathan, he lets out a sigh and shakes his head.
Nathan Callaghan: What in the world are you up to now, Brendan?
Brendan looks up, surprised, before pleading for help while Ana and Isabella runs around the room.
Brendan Callaghan: Can Nathan stay in your office till after the show ends?
Nathan Callaghan: Nathan?
Brendan Callaghan: Yeah, only cause he really needs his space. Im afraid he might hurt the other cats!
Nathan just stares from his oldest son to the cats and back to him.
Nathan Callaghan: No. And please sort this out. You have a match coming up soon.
Brendan Callaghan: But Dad!
Without saying anything else, Nathan closes the door and exits, leaving Brendan to deal with the situation himself.
MATCH FOUR: GOTHAM #1 CONTENDER MATCH
Zooey West-Jaa vs Seth Lawless
wrote:
Zooey stars the match, targeting Seths midsection with several hard and unforgiving kick that leave him rattled, unsteady in his feet, Zooey then uses the momentum to bounce him off the ropes and takes him over with a hiptoss, her heel striking down into his chest with a follow up strike before she drops to make the cover.
1
2
Seth kicks out right after two and Zooey is immediately back on her feet, another heel strike this time is caught by Seth who spins her on her heel and catches her on the turn with a hard elbow to the side of her head. Using his vast size advantage he drops his shoulder and slams it into her gut, driving her back into the turnbuckle with a hard crash.
Seth pulls back looking to land an uppercut across the chest of Zooey but he telegraphs the move ad Zooey grabs the ropes either side of her and with a jump firmly slams the sole of both feet into the chest of Seth, knocking him off his feet. As he rolls back he gets up to his feet and Zooey moves out of the corner, the pair once again square off.
Seth charges Zooey who side steps the move, unable to stop himself Seth charges to the outside and slams into the barrier, rolling over onto his back he nurses his shoulder. Seeing her opportunity; Zooey flips over the top rope and lands with a leg drop across the downed Seth, who manages to bring his knee up and into her back as she lands, leaving them both laid out, the official starts a count
1
2
Seth looks as though hes rolling to his side and Zooey strikes out with a kick to the back of his head, knocking him down flat once more.
3
4
As Zooey starts to get to her feet, she grabs the barrier to hold herself up, Seth grabs around the back of her knees and wrenches up so she falls back hard against the barrier with a slam.
5
6
Neither competitor looks as though theyre near to getting to their feet when Zooey yanks herself back up and throws herself over Seth to grab the ring apron.
7
8
She grabs at the bottom rope trying to roll in but Seth has a hold of her foot and is weighing her down, using her to pull himself up.
9
Realizing there is no way she will make it into the ring, Zooey lets go of the ropes and turns, using her spare foot she swings a hard kick, the toe of her boot connecting to the throat of Lawless just as he wrenches back on her other leg and twists her knee to an ungodly angle.
10
WINNER: DOUBLE COUNTOUT
Seth falls back as Zooey hits the mats hard, both his hands clutch his throat as Zooey tries to get to her feet but the twist to her knee was too much and she stumbles, falling to grab the barrier she leans into it, unable to stand unaided as Seth, still holding his throat gets to his feet and pushes past her with a scowl on his face, making his way up the ramp.
BACKSTAGE
Tim Anderson is standing by as the cameras cut backstage. He offers an excited smile to the camera and then lifts his microphone to announce his guest.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, fresh off her win earlier tonight, Keisha Quickens.
The camera pans left from Tim to show Keisha next to him. She has a towel around her neck, and is clearly tired after her debut, but upbeat.
Keisha Quickens: KeKe is fine, Tim. Don't need everyone dropping my whole name every time I am around. We can keep it friendly. I'm happy to be here. Tonight has been such an amazing experience and . I'm probably talking too much already.
She looks nervously at the camera, and Tim sends his first question her way instead of letting the moment be awkward.
Tim Anderson: You debuted tonight and picked up a win against Isla Carter. Was it everything you wanted it to be?
KeKes eyes light up, and she nods excitedly.
Keisha Quickens: My family was here watching. Having Coby and Chelsea in the crowd was a big help. They were there to support me. I mean, obviously I wanted to come out at look good. Nobody wants to debut by falling on their face. I wasn't going to hold myself to a 'win or fail kind of standard, because this is just my first match, but I won anyways. I wanted to do my best. It just turns out my best is good enough to compete with this roster. It kind of eases my mind about maybe not being able to keep up.
Tim laughs a little, and points out the obvious pun.
Tim Anderson: Well if you weren't Quik enough to keep up, I'm not sure who would be.
Keisha opens her mouth to respond, but his comment definitely shakes her off of her point at first. A smile crosses her lips and she shakes her head.
Keisha Quickens: That's pretty good. I walked right into that one.
She brings her hands hands up in front of her chest and claps them together too softly to even produce sound.
Tim Anderson: So are we going to see you drop some letters in your last name like Coby and Chelsea have?
Keisha shakes her head immediately. She didn't even need to think about her answer.
Keisha Quickens: Not anytime soon. People know who I am related to. I don't want to build my name off of what Coby or Chelsea have done. I want whatever I do to be mine. Maybe one day I will. I don't think I've earned it yet though. Those two are champions. They have been successful. Right now, all I have done is train at Jet City, and win my debut. I think I have a long way to go before I can seriously put myself up on their level.
Her words comes out sweetly, and Tim seems surprised by the answer. He turns from her, looking at the camera.
Tim Anderson: Well, you have all heard it here. Keisha Quickens has come to Liberty to cut her own path. If tonight is any indication, it won't take too long for her to do that. Thanks for joining me KeKe.
She nods.
Keisha Quickens: Anytime. Thanks for having me.
As she finishes the camera cut away elsewhere in the arena.
MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH
Brendan Callaghan vs Isabella Strickland w/Anastasia Hayden
wrote:
In this match, Isabella has Ana in her corner while Brendan has a cat. The same one that was introduced earlier in the show aka Lasagna. Many, if not all, of the Liberty fans are mostly excited for the adorable orange tabby that is currently lounging on a makeshift table at ringside. Before the match begins, Brendan warns Ana not to come over and hurt Lasagna but she just rolls her eyes, saying she would never. Brendan gives Ana the Im watching you gesture before he and Isabella get into a collar-elbow tie up in the centre of the ring. Brendan quickly overpowers Isabella with a shove, throwing her back-first into the mat. Isabella rolls back to her feet, only to get hit in the face with a forearm shot. Brendan push kicks Isabella into the corner behind and charges at her with a running clothesline. As Isabella staggers out of there, Brendan catches her with a side headlock. Isabella struggles to escape before running Brendan into the ropes. Upon release, Brendan bounces off the opposite set of ropes for a hard shoulder block that knocks Isabella straight down. Brendan goes for the pin but barely gets a two-count.
The match continues with Brendan having most control until a distraction from Ana gives Isabella the opening she needs to capitalise with multiple stiff leg kicks that drops him on one knee. Isabella then takes down Brendan with the vicious Hellfyre Lariat, prompting the crowd to go ooh! Isabella hooks Brendans leg for the pin but only gets a two-count. Isabella wastes no time to keep Brendan grounded with foot stomps and knee drop to the face. Clutching his eye, Brendan writhes on the mat before struggling to his feet. Isabella continues to dole out punishment as she chokes out Brendan on the middle rope. The referee gets to four before Isabella backs off, only to get some distance for a leapfrog guillotine. But just as Isabella reaches Brendan, Lasagna innocently jumps up on the ring apron. This clearly amuses the fans but not Isabella. Ana tries to help by shooing the cat away but it only seems to anger it as it hisses, making Ana slowly back away. This stops Isabella in her tracks as she quickly improvises with a bounce off the perpendicular ropes for a driveby kick. Thanks to the distraction, Brendan manages to recover in time to dodge it, leaving Isabella to nearly crash into the ropes. As Isabella turns around, Brendan kicks her in the gut before throwing her up and over with a snap suplex. Isabella rolls over from impact, clutching her back. Brendan pulls back Isabella for the cover but only gets a two-count. Lasagna walks along the apron and Brendan reaches his palm out, in which Lasagna puts her paw for the high-five. The fans laugh with glee as Lasagna then jumps off the apron and on the outside floor.
Brendan sets up Isabella a bit closer to the corner as he looks for a high-risk move. But Brendans slow climb allows her to recover in time to move the ropes, causing him to trip and fall on his crotch. Brendan gasps as he stays there on the top turnbuckle, unable to move. Isabella steals the opportunity to charge at Brendan with an added boost off the middle turnbuckle for her running corner bicycle knee finisher, Stricken. The impact causes Brendan to faceplant as he crushes onto the mat. But before Isabella can do anything else, theres a commotion at ringside as Helena Noir comes running out of nowhere for Ana and blasts her with a forearm smash to the head from the side before pummeling her with more punches on the floor. Meanwhile Lasagna runs under the ring to hide. This distracts Isabella as the crowd grows excited. Helena and Ana continue to beat the shit out of each other and Isabella yells angrily at Helena to defend her friend. Thats when Brendan steals a sneaky rollup pin on Isabella, grabbing her tights as well. The referee doesnt notice and keeps counting to three, with Isabella unable to kick out in time.
WINNER: Brendan Callaghan @ 18:24
Isabella kicks out but its too late as the referee calls for the bell and Choke by Bowling For Soup begins to play. Not wanting to face Isabellas wrath, Brendan scrambles out of the ring to escape. Brendan calls for Lasagna who comes running out from under the ring and scoops her up in his arms before rushing backstage with a big smile on his face, leaving the chaotic scene behind him. Meanwhile, Isabella rolls out of the ring to pick Anastasia up and they look up at the entrance ramp where Helena Noir is standing with a microphone now.
Helena Noir: Isabella I think Ive made my answer loud and clear.
Helena drops the mic and walks off.
BACKSTAGE
In the medical room, Melissa Reeves is being attended to by the nurse. She is sat holding her ribs as the nurse tries to bandage her head. Mel raises an arm to wave it off.
Melissa: No need.
The nurse frowns, but complies.
Nurse: You really should go to hospital, get properly checked out.
Reeves scoffs.
Melissa: Ill go after the show. Got the main event to prepare for.
Nurse: Ms. Reeves, youve sprained your wrist and may very well have a concussion. I would say that youre hardly in any fit state to-
Mel holds her hand up, she doesnt want to hear it.
Melissa: Ill be fine. I have to be fine.
She stands and rolls her shoulders a little. She can clearly be seen hissing with a twinge of pain, even if she tries to hide it.
Melissa: There, see? I am fine. Can I go now?
The nurses eyes narrow, but she soon sighs and shakes her head.
Nurse: ...I dont like this. But I cant stop you. Youre free to go
Melissa nods and makes for the exit, ending the scene.
HEADLINE: CHAMPION VS CHAMPION MATCH
Ashleigh Powell vs Scarlett Highland
wrote:
The match starts off with Scarlett trying her best to dodge Ashleighs every attempt, making it quite frustrating for the Gotham champion. At one point, Scarlett gets a cheap shot with a hair pull before doubling Ashleigh over with a kick. Scarlett irish whips Ashleigh to the other side and jumps up for a dropkick but misses as Ashleigh hangs onto the ropes. The crowd cheers as Ashleigh finally gets her chance to deal some real damage with the figure-four leg lock. Scarlett screams, frantically trying to escape. The Trials champion rolls over soon enough to reverse the hold, forcing Ashleigh to grab the nearest bottom rope to break it. As they scramble to their feet, they clash into a clinch that has Ashleigh shoving Scarlett into the corner behind. Scarlett quickly switches places with Ashleigh, holding her there. The referee doesnt allow it and starts the count when Scarlett backs off, only to give Ashleigh a tight slap on the face. The fans jeer as Ashleigh clutches her cheek, a little stunned. Scarlett continues to pummel Ashleigh with forearm shots before looking to toss her out of the corner. But Ashleigh pulls Scarletts arm back with a knee to the midsection before connecting with a bridging northern lights suplex that only earns her a two-count.
Ashleigh wastes no time to keep Scarlett grounded with an abdominal stretch. Scarlett once again panics, trying desperately to reach for the nearest ropes. In the struggle, Scarlett manages to push herself up on both feet and starts fighting back with forearm shots that forces Ashleigh to release the hold. Scarlett continues to throw shots, making Ashleigh back off more, before running the ropes. In the rebound, Scarlett catches Ashleigh with a surprise a wheelbarrow rollup pin. Ashleigh kicks out just before three. Back on their feet, Ashleigh runs down Scarlett with a clothesline before looking for the fujiwara armbar but Scarlett is quick to scramble away. Scarlett pulls herself up by the ropes and Ashleigh charges at Scarlett, only to get elbowed in the face. Scarlett uses the ropes to catch Ashleigh with a headscissors hold. Scarlett then raises her right leg to hammer it down on Ashleighs head before putting her legs down on the mat again. Clutching her head, Ashleigh backs away unsteadily. Scarlett takes a second to regain her bearings before attempting to irish whip Ashleigh to the other side. Ashleigh counters with a short-arm forearm smash and connects with double wrist locks. Scarlett fights back with a kick to one of the holds, freeing her right hand. With her left hand still holding Ashleighs right, Scarlett runs up the corner for a springboard wristlock armdrag. Ashleigh slowly pulls herself up before Scarlett takes her down with a flying crossbody. Scarlett stays for the cover but only gets a two-count. The crowd cheers for Ashleigh in support to continue the fight.
Scarlett fixes her hair, starting to look irritated. Suddenly, the crowd turns towards the stage where Brendan Callaghan can be seen walking down the ramp towards the ring. Scarlett notices this and turns to where theyre looking at. Brendan pulls out some sort of eye mask from behind his back and raises up high for everyone to see. The eye mask itself is basically a printed image of his own eyes giving a smouldering look. With her back turned on Ashleigh, Scarlett demands for Brendan to return backstage. But the Callaghan troll ignores that and casually asks if she approves of this eye mask as a blindfold for their match at the supershow. Scarlett tells Brendan to go away but he keeps the eye mask and takes out another one, this time the printed image is of both his eyes closed. The referee shoots Brendan a warning, forcing him to move to another side of the ring were he continues to bug Scarlett with his dumb questions, as if oblivious to the match going on. Scarlett yells at the referee to take care of Brendan before turning around, just in time to get hit in the knees with a dropkick by Ashleigh. The crowds excitement grows as Ashleigh rolls back up to her feet and connects with a DDT to Scarlett. Some of the fans in the front row, likely to be supporters of Scarlett and her reality show, start to jeer at Brendan who just laughs back. As Scarlett slowly rolls over on her belly, Ashleigh swoops down on her for her high-angle cloverleaf finisher, ZETA-16. Screaming, Scarlett struggles in the submission as Ashleigh holds her down with her knee on her head and neck. Seeing no way out, Scarlett has no choice but to tap out.
WINNER: Ashleigh Powell by submission @ 20:23
Now by Paramore blasts through the arena as Ashleigh releases the hold on Scarlett to celebrate her victory. The arena breaks into cheers for the Gotham champion who gets her hand raised by the referee. Meanwhile, Scarlett stays motionless on the mat. When Ashleigh clears the ring, the referee checks on Scarlett and Brendan comes over. Taking out yet another eye mask, Brendan looks at it and nods as if in approval before placing it on Scarletts face. Then Brendan laughs as he exits the ring. The camera shows the eye mask with the printed image of Brendans eyes winking with the right just as Scarlett is beginning to stir awake. Then the feed cuts away.
BACKSTAGE
Becky Balfour-Lawless is backstage. Absent, are The Followers, or any of #TheSociety members. Balfour-Lawless was sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall in an otherwise empty hallway. Between her legs, was a CWC Trios championship belt.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: I was told that everyone wanted a comment. What do I think about the CWC removing the Trios championship's from it's ranks, just after a Society victory, becoming the champions. Frankly, I don't give a damn who wants a comment. Check my Twitter, my thoughts have been there since the War on Christmas concluded. Fact is, we are and will FOREVER be the final Trios champions...but tonight isn't about that. It isn't about us going to war as a family, it's about me going to war with Melissa Reeves. Not only do I have to earn the rematch that I was supposed to already have automatically, but if I lose, I can never challenge for the Liberty championship as long as Melissa holds it. Color me fucking surprised.
Becky runs her hand over the Trios championship as she shakes her head.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: It's not hard to figure out that even here in Liberty where #TheSociety has been the heartbeat of this place, we're still discriminated against. We're still the one's that nobody wants to see succeed, and we're still the trash that they forgot to put out. The only problem is, they can never get rid of us. And Melissa, champ? You can never get rid of me. From the moment you won that championship from me in our last woman standing match, you knew I would be back. You knew I would be coming for what you never pinned me for, and here we are. Here I am.
Becky laughs a bit.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: From the day I signed a wrestling contract, I was supposed to be nothing. I was supposed to be ran out months ago, but what's happened? I've become a world champion here, a Trios champion CWC-wide, and now, I'm your worst fucking nightmare, Reeves. If I'm victorious later tonight, not only do I get my rematch, but I get to choose the match stipulation for that rematch. Now, I'm sure most people are going to tell me that just like everyone else, I won't be able to pin you tonight...but I guarantee you and the world that I'll do what most deem impossible. I will paint the ring with your blood, and I will deliver a message loud and clear...I'm coming for what's mine.
Balfour-Lawless stands up, placing the Trios championship over her shoulder as she tugs at the Iron Maiden shirt that she's wearing.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: Now, what kind of match do I choose for our championship rematch, should I win tonight? I'm original, and quite frankly...I want to hurt you, so what I'm proposing is the first ever match of it's kind...a Society Street Fight. What is a Society Street Fight? Follow me.
Becky walks down the long hallway and walks into a room, camera following. In the room, in the middle of the floor is a large, glass case. See through, there are thumbtacks spread all around the inside of the glass display case. The case is longer than an average sized person if they were laying down.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: If I beat you tonight Reeves, our rematch will be the Society Street Fight, where the only way to win is, before you attempt a pinfall, you must slam your opponent through one of these two glass cases that will be set up in the ring, by a respective corner for each of us. So allow me to ask, are you ready to bleed for your cause? Are you ready to fucking go to war to hold on to that championship?
With a laugh, Becky taps her fingertips on the top of the glass display case.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: Focus on me tonight. Focus on a career threatening match after I beat you. You won't have a choice in the matter after I pin you tonight.
Balfour puts a hand in front of the camera and shoves it out of her face as she laughs.
RINGSIDE
Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch hit the PA system and Nathan Callaghan appears at the top of the entrance way, wearing black jeans and a leather jacket. Nathan stands there for a moment, soaking in the boos from the crowd before he made his down to the ring. Nathan walks up the steel steps before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. A red carpet was covering the entire canvas of the ring and in the center of it was a table with a couple of chairs near it and a contract and a pen on the table as well. Nathan grabs the microphone that was sitting down on the table and he began to speak as he music cut out.
Nathan Callaghan: For over two months, this back and forth bullshit between Felix Vialpando and Zeke Reed has been going on. I tried to crown a number one contender between these two fine competitors, but Felix had to cheat to beat Zeke, and I wasnt going to let that slide. Now, I know there have been questions being asked about what this match is for now, but the stakes have never changed.
Nathan pauses, letting his statement sink in.
Nathan Callaghan: Felix Vialpando and Zeke Reed will fight for a shot for the Liberty Championship next week at Festivus For The Rest of Us on December 23rd.
Nathan smiles as he announces the name of the supershow for next week, which is a reference to the holiday that was created on an episode of Seinfeld.
Nathan Callaghan: Now, I know youre all wondering where that leaves Anastasia Hayden, as she also owns a shot at the Liberty Championship. The thing is, the match she won? It gave her a shot for whenever she wants it. Thats why there can be two different number one contenders after Festivus.
Nathan nods before stepping towards the table in the middle of the ring and looking down at the contract before glancing over to the entrance way.
Nathan Callaghan: This contract states that Felix Vialpando and Zeke Reed will also fight in a No Disqualification match to ensure that nobody can win from cheating. Also, if anyone dares to come down to the ring during this match between these two, they will be suspended or fired, whichever I feel like doing at the time. So lets not waste anymore time now that Ive explained everything. Its time for our two competitors to come out to the ring and sign this damn thing.
Backseat Freestyle hits as Zeke Reed makes his way out to the ring, a clear agitation in his face. He steps in the ring, giving a nod to his boss before he grabs a microphone. He awaits the crowd to die down before he speaks. He gives a quick look towards the contract on the table, but disregards in favor to speak his mind on the matter.
Zeke Reed: This show is the last show that theyll be any peace between Felix and myself. We got to sign some document that can tell us that were going to beat each other down. I hope that theres some clause in here that allows me to make sure that Felix doesnt walk out of the ring after Im done with his punk ass.
He gives Nathan a quick look.
Zeke Reed: At first, I was okay with what he did--well, more okay than I am now. Over the span of these last few shows, Felix has made it harder and harder for me to keep my cool about his antics. Interrupting my matches and ruining what I had made for myself? AKA hes getting in the way of what Ive wanted to do since coming here to Liberty--make a name for myself and represent this place the best way I know how. All because hes scared hes going to be stuck in his brothers shadow for the rest of his pathetic life.
He takes a beat.
Zeke Reed: Felix, you dont have to worry tonight about me cracking you upside your head. You just need to know that since I wont do it now, Ill keep it all in. Unfortunately, that means that every minute that youre going to waste running your mouth here tonight, Im going to enact upon you during our match. Every second you spend taking so much about your notes, Ill take back with blows thatll change your entire damn life.
Zeke heads over to the contract.
Zeke Reed: If youre going to come out here and face me while you got the chance to be a man, then come on out here. We dont got all night.
10 Toes" by. Nipsey Hussle hits the PA System and the man of discussion steps out onto the stage staring down at the ring at both Zeke and Nathan. He gives a smug look at them both then begins to proceed down the ramp. On his way to the ring he trades words with the boisterous fans along the barricades. Once he gets near the ring he orders for Zeke to back up because he won't enter the ring unless he does so. Reed rolls his eyes and takes a couple steps back to make Felix feel a little better. Vialpando slowly makes his way up the steel steps and steps inside the ring. Vialpando looks both men up and down before grabbing the microphone on the table that was waiting for him.
Felix Vialpando: Are you done?
Before Zeke could reply, Felix holds up his hand.
Felix Vialpando: Shut it Reed, you have spewed enough trash for all of New York already. Just shut the hell up already and take notes. First thing is first...You were never going to be anything in this company. At least not while i have something to say about it. In case you haven't noticed just yet Zeke, I'm the King of New York and my name isn't LeBron James.
This gets the fans booing him for sure.
Felix Vialpando: Shut up or I'll start shitting all over Eli Mannings pathetic luck of a career!
More boos.
Felix Vialpando: That's alright. Some kings were hated before they were beloved by their people. It's in the notes, so it's true. I've been a courteous king since I came here. I rid this company of the X-Files number one fan. I have gifted the undeserving with opportunities to become what they are today. I have saved the kingdom from the annoying pest that dares look at becoming Liberty Champion. I have joined with my brethren in protesting against a corrupt system.
Felix nods to himself.
Felix Vialpando: I have done all these things .And this...this is the thanks I get? I get robbed of my rightful chance to be Liberty Champion. I must waste brain power, ink and paper for notes on a man beneath me for not once, not twice...But three times just to get what I deserve around here.
Felix looks over Nathan.
Felix Vialpando: If I knew I was walking into another place that didn't make sense in it decision making I would've stayed in Empire Pro and continued to be Canadian Champion rather than follow you here...Nathan.
He shrugs and looks over to the contract.
Felix Vialpando: But fine. You rather see me make a mockery of this idiot for the second time in a row just so I can proceed to golden pastures? So be it. It'll be the easiest aced test ever.
Zeke audibly laughs, which is partly off from the usual serious individual.
Zeke Reed: You and these notes.
He shakes his head at Felix.
Zeke Reed: You best get your facts straight and recognize that Im one of the people who built this place. Since you want to talk out the side of your neck--like you usually do--let me lay this down for you. It was you that decided that you wanted to come and mess with what I had going on. A king doesnt do that. A king works his way up to the place he is. A king doesnt act like a paranoid jackass and think hes hot shit.
Zeke Reed: Frankly, Id love to see you try to run back to Empire after this ass beating sets you straight. Because no one asked you to follow anybody or anything, Felix. Most people just want you to shut your dumb ass up.
Felix could be heard yelling his patented, WHAT?! WHAT?! away from the mic. He turns to Nathan still away from the microphone, YOU GONNA LET HIM TALK TO ME LIKE THAT?!. Felix turns back towards Reed.
Felix Vialpando: Liberty Pro hasnt even been open long enough to call yourself one of the people who built it, shut the hell up. And dont you dare try to disrespect the notes! If you knew anything you and everybody else in this fail state would invest in them!
The crowd boos.
Felix Vialpando: Oh shut up already. No one cares about you flabby ass New York slices.
Yep, that got them booing.
Felix Vialpando: Until you guys dont have the worst pizza in the world, shut the heck up and let the big boys handle business.
More boos.
Felix Vialpando: Lets not get ahead of ourselves, Zeke. Ill admit that you are a tough competitor. A tough test. One that I had to overcome at the end of the day but thanks to the old man over here, I have to retest. Im up for the challenge. Im ready to wipe the floor with you and secure my shot at the Liberty Championship.
Felix nods and walks over to the table. He picks up a pen and looks over the contract.
Felix Vialpando: Thing is .Im not sure if youre as ready as you think you are.
Vialpando smirks and signs his name on the contract. Reed, without a word, goes over to sign the contract. He slams the pen down the table before picking up the microphone again.
Zeke Reed: You dont know how ready I am, Felix. I just hope youre able to catch up--you know, with all the note-taking and whatever other bullshit you got.
With that being said, Zeke walks out of the ring with a scornful look on his face, leaving Felix and Nathan in the ring together with Felix complaining to Nathan some more and the owner simply rolling his eyes.

Zooey West-Jaa vs Seth Lawless

Zooey stars the match, targeting Seths midsection with several hard and unforgiving kick that leave him rattled, unsteady in his feet, Zooey then uses the momentum to bounce him off the ropes and takes him over with a hiptoss, her heel striking down into his chest with a follow up strike before she drops to make the cover.

She grabs at the bottom rope trying to roll in but Seth has a hold of her foot and is weighing her down, using her to pull himself up.
