LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...
FESTIVUS FOR THE REST OF US
LIVE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23RD, 2017 FROM BARCLAYS CENTER IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
MATCH ONE: SINGLES MATCH
Keisha Quickens vs. Romeo Black
wrote:
The match starts off with each of the valiant competitors trading blows, though neither willing to be taken off their feet. Keisha kicks up to Romeo's midsection, but he's able to catch her leg. Keisha stands there, one-legged hopping before Romeo tosses her leg around. Trying for a quick counter, she tries to strike Romeo in the face instead. He steps back, causing her to miss and swing around again, coming face-to-face with Blake. Romeo leaps into the air, catching Keisha's head and spinning around into a hard implant tornado DDT.
One...
Tw-Kickout!
Quickens rolls back onto her feet, as does Romeo and the pair are at it again with the right hands. Keisha tries to mix in strikes, wearing Romeo down, though it seems just enough for him to strike her back. They battle into the ropes, where Keisha uses them as leverage. There's nowhere for Romeo to go, so Keisha takes hold of his arm, whipping him across the ring. However, she actually keeps hold of his arm, yanking him back but releasing. He still shifts his direction back towards her from the force, only for Keisha to leap into a crossbody pin.
One...
Tw-Kickout!
This time Romeo triumphantly kicks out, using his leftover energy to roll through, just as Keisha had done. He guns for the turnbuckle, hoping up on the second rope. Keisha is right behind him, not about to let him gain any momentum. She, too, tries to hop onto the second rope. Romeo immediately kicks her back down. She lands on her feet, stumbling but gaining her footing, until Black plants a missile dropkick to her chest that floors her, landing on her stomach. Romeo pops up, taking a moment to give the Finger Gun taunt to the crowd. Keisha attempts to get to her feet with some trouble. Romeo feels his win his imminent as he rushes Keisha, hitting his downed opponent with the Neon Lights! (stomp to the back of bent over opponent followed by a rolling elbow) much to the delight of the crowd. He hooks the leg.
One....
Two....
Th-kickout by Keisha!
The crowd roars, before Black helps Keisha to his feet. He's got to try something else for the win. However as he does, Keisha begins to battle back with rights to Romeo's gut. He feels them more and more as she lands, but Romeo takes Keisha's arm, spinning it into a painful wrist lock, only to eat a high knee strike from Quickens. It doesn't take Romeo off his feet, but causes him to release his hold. Keisha steps back, gunning for the ropes. She bounds off, seconds away from eating a Rochet Kick (discuss big boot) from Black. Keisha ducks under his boot. Missing the strike, Romeo over-extends, causing him to stumble and land on one knee. It's the small opening Keisha has been looking for all match, as she lands an echoing Quiksand (Buzzsaw Kick).
One...
Two....
Three!
WINNER: Keisha Quickens by pinfall @ 10:20
Keisha celebrates her victory in the ring as the fans cheer her on. The camera then pans to the crowd and gets a shot of Coby Quick, Keishas cousin, who is clapping his hands and nodding his head in approval.
BACKSTAGE
Liberty backstage interviewer Tim Anderson is standing by backstage when the cameras cut to him. He smiles at the camera and introduces his guest.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, and girl that seems to be making a habit out of talking to me after winning, Keisha Quickens!
The camera pans left from Tim to show Keisha next to him. She gives an excited wave to the crowd and cheers can be heard from the fans in attendance.
Keisha Quickens: I told you last time Tim, KeKe is fine. No need to make this sound for formal. We are just hear to talk. I'm not renewing my driver's license or something. We can just be friends.
She offers him a smile and a hopeful shrug, but he ignores it and keeps the focus on the interview.
Tim Anderson: You have had two Liberty matches so far, and have picked up wins each time. What is it like to start your career on this kind of roll?
KeKes cheeks flush, and she laughs a little. It was clear taking compliments were not her strong suit.
Keisha Quickens: I mean it has been really amazing. I'm not getting too ahead of myself with it. It was nice to win my debut. Especially doing so in less than a minute like that. I thought it was a dream. Adding another win this time around makes it feel like the longest and best dream ever. I'm just want to keep it going.
Tim redirects a little back to the end of her match.
Tim Anderson: We saw your family at ringside again tonight. Coby Quik even made note of having to skip his duties over in Pride Pro in order to be here. Is having that kind of support here part of your good luck?
She opens her mouth and closes it a few times, clearly at a loss for words. Instead of giving a cliche answer, or brushing it away, she embraces it honestly.
Keisha Quickens: Coby and Chelsea have worked with me to get me ready for matches. Coby is pushing me inside the ring at Jet City. We are all kind of like a team. I know once he gets started in Empire it is going to be more of the same. Three heads are better than one, right?
She shrugs her shoulders and Tim goes to respond but she cuts him off before he can.
Keisha Quickens: Right now, having them in my corner and knowing that they are going to be there to support me helps me not be so nervous. No matter what I do, I know at least two people out there are cheering for me to not fall on my face. It's a confidence boost for sure. What I'm starting to learn is that there are a lot more people out there in my corner too...
She tilts her head to the side a little, craning an ear towards the camera. The fans to take their cue immediately and cheer loudly enough for the camera to pick up.
Tim Anderson: Well, if you keep going out there and doing what you are doing I bet you won't have a problem finding people to support you. Thanks for your time KeKe.
She claps her hands in front of her chest and her mouth falls open.
Keisha Quickens: You got it right that time!
As she finishes the camera cut away elsewhere in the arena.
MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
Maddux Kingcade vs Carina Eventide
wrote:
At the sound of the bell, Maddux charges across the ring at Carina, but she side steps him, but Kingcade is able to turn in time and clotheslines her to the canvas. Maddux starts to stomp away at the down Carina before she rolls out of the ring. Maddux follows after her try to keep on the pressure, pushing her into the ring barrier. Maddux lifts her up and drops her chest first on the barrier, he then charges at her and connects with a running kick right to the ribs of Carina. She rolls on the mats outside the ring in pain as Maddux rolls into the ring to break the officials count. He comes back out of the ring and suplexes Carina on the thin ringside mat before rolling her into the ring and making the cover.
Carina is able to kick out before the three. Kingcade drives a knee into her ribs before locking in an abdominal stretch on Eventide. Maddux keeps the pressure on her ribs but Eventide starts to battle back, Kingcade drives an elbow into her ribs again before locking the stretch in once more. He torques at her sides before Carina is able to get back to her feet and slip loose from Maddux and hit a staggering side kick. Carina kicks at Maddux again, knocking him into the corner. Eventide charges in and connects with a jumping knee to the jaw of Kingcade. She hooks Maddux at the neck and drives him down with a running bulldog. She pulls him to his feet and sends him into the ropes, she drives a knee into Madduxs midsection before taking him down with a Leg trap sunset flip powerbomb, holding for the pin.
But Maddux is able to get his shoulder up before the three. Carina backs off and watches Maddux get to his feet, she then goes for her silver mist but Maddux gets out of the way. Carina is still able to hit her reverse cutter on Maddux, but he rolls out of the ring before she can try to make a cover. She follows him out of the ring but Maddux bullrushes Carina against the ring post, he drives her against it again with a stiff shoulder. He follows it up with a big belly to belly release suplex, causing Carina to land in a pile on the ringside floor. Kingcade lifts her up again driving her rib first into the barrier. Carina yelps out in pain before Maddux rolls her into the ring. Maddux goes to follow but Carina connects with a desperation kick to his head. Carina pulls Maddux to his feet and onto his shoulders for her Bubble breaker III: Electric Boogaloo. But she drops Maddux down and holds her ribs in pain. Maddux slowly gets to his feet as Carina holds her ribs in pain. Maddux Kingcade turns and drops Carina Eventide with his FYG Roaring Elbow. Maddux makes the cover and gets the win.
WINNER: Maddux Kingcade by pinfall @ 12:20
Maddux celebrates his victory in the middle of the ring as the referee raises his hand.
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut to the slightly opened door to an office backstage, as it pans up the name on the door tonight reads of course Nathan Callaghan. Theres sounds of movement in the office and abruptly a delighted run of pure giggling! The camera zooms in, moving past the door to reveal the interior of the office, where perched on the corners of the desk on his side of course, are Coral and Nami Azul, the Girls of Summer, already dressed in their identical cherry red and cream ring gear. The object of their full attention is the man himself, Nathan relaxed back in his expensive office chair as the trio talk.
Coral Azul: Its not that were nervous, big Daddy
Both of the women dissolve in giggles again as Coral rests her boot on the edge of the seat of his chair, giving him a perfect glance up the length of her shapely leg.
Nami Azul: Were really not, its just over excited. This is our very first title shot, and its all we can do to sit still and not run out there and wait for our turn.
Coral bites her lip cutely as she watches Nathan gaze on the pair of them, and then she smiles brilliantly.
Coral Azul: Ive got a great idea. No, Ive got the best idea.
Nami and Nathan both look at her expectantly and she beams a brilliant smile at both of them.
Coral Azul: Wouldnt it be the best thing ever, if say, you went and started the shower for us? For after the match, no matter what happens I think that would be the best way to finish up our night here.
Namis eyes got wide and she claps her hands, seemingly just as excited about this as she is about the chance they have tonight against Team Snapback, and Colt and Cami.
Nami Azul: Oh please Nathan? I get so sore after a big match, everyone hits me more than Coral too so I need extra comfort and the best part about arena showers is that the hot water never runs out.
Nathan rubs his chin, seeming to think about their request before a slow smile spreads over his lips.
Nathan Callaghan: I love that. Always thinking ahead Coral, what would we ever do without you?
Coral hops down from the desk and gives Nathan an enthusiastic hug before Nami joins her, and he pats them both on the lower back as they straighten up. His voice is gruff but shows a bit of fondness as he winks at the two of them.
Nathan Callaghan: You two go out there and do what I know you can do. I hire only the best, and its about time you two show that off a little more. Ill take care of the rest, make sure that shower is nice and ready.
The pair giggle again and link hands before bouncing out of the office, Nathan chuckling indulgently again before he adjusts himself and gets up out of the chair, a definite good mood on him as he too heads out of the office.

BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson was upset when she looked at the camera. It was the same story that she had for awhile now about how her and Avery were the greatest of champions. She knew going into the this tag match with the Girls of Summer and Colt and Cami that she and Avery were going to have to be on top of their game. She also stated that she loved be a champion and that it gave her a purpose in Liberty. If she lost the titles tonight she would be okay with that fact though it would just make her have to work that much harder. She smiled one more time and nodded her head, she was ready for this match and nothing would stop her.
MATCH THREE: TRIPLE THREAT TAG TEAM MATCH FOR THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
Colt Brady & Cami McGatha vs Team Snapback © vs Girls of Summer on commentary
wrote:
All three teams take an extra moment to decide whos starting, though finally it ends up Colt Brady for Colt N Cami, Avery Smith for the Champions Team Snapback, and Coral Azul for Girls of Summer left standing in the center of the ring staring at each other. The bell rings and there is trouble right from the start as Coral puts her hands on her hips and mocks Cami for her behavior on Twitter while Nami laughs from the apron and points. Cami goes red in the face and rushes at Coral, bowling her over to the mat much to the amusement of Avery, she even gives Cami a little thumbs up and Cami gives her a skeptical look before she moves to put the boots to Coral, a mistake as Coral takes that seconds distraction and catches Cami with a perfectly executed Monkey Flip! She pops up instead of covering for a pin only to get blasted in her upper back by Averys Goal Line Clearance, the High Knee crushing her forward into the turnbuckles! Avery picks her up for a Belly-to-Back Suplex, but as they go over heres Cami recovered and she clips Avery off at the knees! All three wrestlers are down as Coral seems to have taken the worst of this, rolling up until shes half on the apron, under the bottom rope. Colt signals to Cami for the tag, and Cami makes it! He directs her to get him something from the ringside area as he watches Coral being still and Avery still down. Emily is stamping her foot on the apron to rally the fans for the champions, starting a SNAP! BACK! SNAP! BACK! chant and clapping her hands to encourage her partner!
Colt yells at her to shut up as he turns to tell Cami to hurry up as she scrambles around under the ring and she pops up with a kendo stick! Yet while this happens, in that tiny window of opportunity Nami drops off the apron and drags Coral out of the ring and takes her place! Coral crawls to their corner and drags herself up for a breather as Nami lays in wait, Colt comes in with the kendo stick and smashes it over Averys back but this just seems to give her a jolt of energy and she pops up and slugs him right in the gut with a huge closed fist! Its awfully low at that, Colt bends but still keeps hold of the stick and they fight over it before Avery maneuvers over to the Team Snapback corner, and leans out to tag in Emily! Emily pulls a collapsible baton out of her boot and and while Avery holds Colt she flicks her wrist to extend it and then she whaps him with it across the ribs! He howls but blasts her across the face with the kendo stick, and then Avery, right across the chops too! They reel back but toss kicks at him to keep him backed away. He spies Coral still limp on the mat and he goes after her but at the last second she rolls out of the way and catches him with a Drop Toe Hold, his throat hitting the second rope as he falls! Nami pops up and mocks Team Snapback as she covers the fighting for air Colt, but Cami dives in and breaks the pin - only to be part of the dogpile as Emily and Avery join her! Coral gets to the top rope then and dives with a huge Senton that wipes out the entire group as they all start to stand!
A few more weapons including a chair and a broken surfboard make their way into the match, the surfboard used to knock Cami off the top when she was set up for a Diving Legdrop by Avery Smith! Colt drops quickly to check on Cami as she falls out of the ring and hits the concrete, when suddenly a mysterious figure slips over the security barrier! Wearing a dark leather jacket over dark pants, and a mask would be enough to cause a stir, but in the figures hands is a very singular weapon that causes the announcers to freak out on commentary - the masked figure is holding a barbed wire bat, and from the look of it, its Nathan Callaghans bat! That bat is used to hit Colt and then Emily Jackson when the figure takes to the apron, and as its a No DQ match the referee can do nothing! Having laid out Colt and Emily the figure grabs Nami by the ankle and threatens her, she shrieks and begs as Avery stands up in the ring and drops the broken surfboard, clearly concerned for Emily when Coral pops up behind her and then shoots the ropes, coming back with a Shotgun Dropkick to her back and when Avery falls Coral hits a Standing Senton before she hooks the legs and gets the three count! As soon as the bell rings the masked figure bolts and vanishes into the backstage area, and while Coral pops up excited she still looks concerned as Nami enters the ring and clings to her after her scare!
WINNERS: Girls of Summer via pinfall @ 14:22
The Girls of Summer are handed the Tag Team Championships. Emily and Avery look clearly frustrated as they look at each other, realizing they just lost their tag team championships.
BACKSTAGE
Sitting cross-legged in a chair backstage, Coda's palms carefully hold onto an open book entitled "A Separate Peace" by John Knowles. Her dark eyes scan the page idly, reading the words silently to herself until she suddenly stops and slams the book closed with her lanky index finger acting as a makeshift bookmark. With the book in her lap, she opens her mouth to began to speak.
Coda: What is it you would like to hear? Do you seek pleasure in hearing me meander about mistakes gone by? Do you wish to hear me lament the fact that I was not pinned in regard to the fatal fourway match at Liberation 14 where Warren Corbett retrieved the Anarchy Championship once lost to him while I watched from the outside? It is a waste of time to speak of such things.
Her methodical delivery met with her sweet voice underneath it all was uniquely true to the woman with medium=length hair known as The Destroyer. Coda brushed her hair out of her eyes and sighed, glancing down at the book cover in her lap before glancing back into the lens that captured the scene for the rest of the audience to see on the giant screen embedded into the stage.
Coda: I cannot change the past - I can only seek to make a better future.
The Korean-born warrior smirked subtly until the smile swiftly disappeared as fast as it showed up on her features.
Coda: Warren Corbett is not the brightest of The Society but it is clear to me that he is a worthy competitor nonetheless.
With a succinct, direct delivery all her own, Coda wasn't done.
Coda: Once the fatal fourway contest featuring an anything goes stipulation at Liberation 14 had concluded and I retired to my hotel room, I slept well. I felt the strength growing within me and the restlessness caused by boredom that occurs during the times when I fought the likes of the unworthy newfound scrap of The Society fell by the wayside. I felt whole. I felt invigorated.
The last word was audibly capped off with a question mark as she struggled to make sense of her feelings.
Coda: Tonight... I will handily dispatch of every opponent who seeks to make an appearance in the gauntlet match. Tonight, I correct the mistakes I have made once I leave Warren Corbett a sniveling mess devoid of the one thing which brings him pride and sets him apart from the rest of The Society - The Anarchy Championship - and once Warren finds himself a hallow vessel empty of willpower and continuously trapped in Becky Balfour's shadow... He will understand this is where he is destined to be until his career has come to an end.
While her words were blunt and straight-forward, the way she spoke continued to follow the same pattern of speech.
Coda: I encourage all the opponents of this upcoming gauntlet match to prove themselves worthy of the experience. I encourage every opponent from now on within Liberty Pro to stop being such easy victims predetermined to land in the hospital after an encounter with me and begin to give me a challenge. I encourage every single person who has signed up for this gauntlet to fight me like it is the biggest match of your life or face the consequence of being humiliated in front of all of CWC by the woman who seeks to carve a swath through all of Liberty Pro. It would be more enjoyable this way.
With an intense gleam in her dark eyes, she glances down and back forward once again.
Coda: The Anarchy Championship is mine for the taking and I challenge you all to stand in the way of this pursuit.
She emphasizes the point with a simple nod.
Coda: Do not relent. I have discovered there is no harm in taking aim... Even if the target is a dream.
She glanced back at her book with a small grin as she opened it back up where she left off.
Coda: Let us see who wishes to make this a challenge and who wishes to waste my time, yes?
As she finishes condescendingly speaking to everyone watching, Coda continues to read the book on her lap.
EARLIER TODAY...
On the bustling streets of New York, people continue moving quickly. If you thought you knew New York before, wait until you see it at Christmas time. Tons and tons of people, rushing past one another, trying to get the biggest and best Christmas gift for one another. They could pass by the very person theyre buying for and not even notice them. From the crowd, moves one body, dressed all in black. At first, its hard to make out who the person is, until they move through the crowd more, pushing back bodies.
Warren Corbett: This is a familiar sight. Since coming to Liberty, to New York, Ive always liked going out onto the streets. You really get the largest contrast between the upside New York, where money wins, and #TheSociety. The holidays provide the biggest contrast, as the money hungry, entitled, rich folk walk up and down popular avenues with their bags of junk. I dont hold you in contempt if you buy gifts, its the extravagant displays for people, of junk thats only going to end up in the trash can in a few months. All to tell someone you love them. Well, I know love - my family is all I needed to get through this year.
As he steps further out of the crowd, both championship titles are clear as day on either shoulder. The Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship, and one of the now defunct CWC World Trios Championships. It appears he never gave it back. He looks to the Trios belt first.
Warren Corbett: We became CWC World Trios Champions, a belt that Im going to hold until the end of days. They tried to rip it from us by declaring it void, but its mine, we won it fair and square. Together. Now, we look towards Liberty, who gave us a home before all the lights of CWC. We look towards Festivus For the Rest of Us...the Liberty title, the Gotham Championship, and of course, the Anarchy title
Then, he looks to his other shoulder where his prized Anarchy Championship is.
Warren Corbett: I won this last week by pinning Vitor Mata to the mat, something hes tried to hold over my head as never actually doing. I can win in ladder matches, cage matches, and the like, but now I can even say I pinned you, Vitor. Not to mention, I tossed Coda right out of the ring. I took this belt as my own. Carina may have been the first, but I MADE this division, and I continue to make it with a gauntlet tonight. Vitor, Coda, everyone on twitter who claimed The Last Jedi was a good movie...anyone. I invite you all down to the ring to try taking this from me. I dare you to try!
He laughed, nodding to the camera. The entire time, people continue walking. Its a contrast that has been shown prior, but what better way to end 2017 by once again reminding the people of Liberty Pro and CWC of why #TheSociety is here.
Warren Corbett: Im carrying this belt into 2018, where Ill continue shaping the division. #TheSociety will each have their own division to shape to our liking, Liberty belongs to us. But dont think weve forgotten about the rest of CWC. They tried to hold us down by stripping away our titles, and because of that, we also hold title shots for ANY CWC championships we want. You heard that correctly - ANY belts we want. That means all you goons on twitter bitching about CWC title shots, and who owes who what - remember its #TheSociety with guaranteed title shots, NOT you. 2017 brought us closer together, but 2018 will put us on the grand stage we desire. Were taking Liberty global, and most importantly, were taking #TheSociety message global. You made us villains, but we refuse to be your victims! Happy New Year, Liberty!
He fades back into the crowd, and walks alongside the hustle and bustle, as if he was just another Christmas shopper out on the town, before the scene cuts.
MATCH FOUR: ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP GAUNTLET MATCH
Featuring Coda, Warren Corbett ©, Vitor Mata, Isla Carter and many, many more.
wrote:
The match started off with Vitor Mata and Larclan in the ring. These two have had a great deal of problems throughout their time in Liberty Pro but Larclan stood no chance against The Pride of Portugal. It didnt take long for Vitor to slap the Mata Lock on Larclan, who would in turn tap out.
ELIMINATED: LARCLAN
Next up was Joey Barber, making his return to the Liberty Pro ring. Joey and Vitor battled back and forth but Vitor soon got his hands on a steel chair and he made work with it, bending it in half over Joey before it broke completely and left Barber bleeding from his face. Mata pinned Joey and got the pinfall.
ELIMINATED: JOEY BARBER
Ryan Callaghan from REBELLION made a surprising guest entrance as he took on Vitor. Vitor was on the offensive in the beginning but he soon ran out of gas before Ryan connected with The Pride of Southie (Superman Punch) that he hit right into the chair that Vitor was holding, making it snapback into Vitors face. Ryan pinned Vitor and eliminated him.
ELIMINATED: VITOR MATA
Next up was Coda. Coda is small but has been known to take on giants like Ryan without fear. Ryan threw Coda around effortlessly for a bit, showing off his power but Coda would soon get her hands on a Kendo Stick. Coda slammed it into Ryan over and over, knocking him to his knees before she hit him straight into his temple, knocking him out. Ryan struggled to his knees and Coda ran at him and nailed him with "Symphonic Elbow" Most commonly, a vicious running discus elbow smash. She pinned him and picked up the three count.
ELIMINATED: RYAN CALLAGHAN
Isla Carter made her way to the ring next. As soon as she got into the ring, Coda took her out with "Rhapsody" a half nelson choke backstabber combination. Isla soon taps out and Coda eliminates her in record time.
ELIMINATED: ISLA CARTER
Soon Leopold Godfrey from REBELLION PRO made his way to the ring. He and Coda battled for a few moments and before Coda took him out with her Symphonic Elbow. She pinned him and got the three count.
ELIMINATED: LEOPOLD GODFREY
Next up was Corey Grimes from Red State Revolver. He proved to be Codas toughest challenge yet, even hitting her with The Crowning, a shoutout to his cousin, Gavin Grimes. Corey picked up a two count by Coda kicked out. Corey grabbed a table and set it up in the ring. He looked to put Coda on it but she shoved Corey off and obliterated him with an enziguri. Coda shoved Corey on the table and then hit the top ropes. She leaped off, hitting Grimes with a frog splash through the table. Coda pinned him and picked up the three count.
ELIMINATED: COREY GRIMES
This time, Coda was a bit slow to her feet. She looked up to the entrance ramp, looking for her next opponent. The fans began to boo as Warren Corbett came through the crowd before hopping the barricade with his Anarchy Championship in his hand. He slid into the ring and Coda turned around to meet Warren smashing his Anarchy Championship straight into her face. Warren then picked Coda up and hit her with The Battle Ax (High impact spinebuster) before pinned her for the three count.
ELIMINATED: CODA
WINNER AND STILL ANARCHY CHAMPION: Warren Corbett by pinfalll @ 27:12
Warren is picks up his Anarchy Championship and raises it over Codas body with a smirk on his face. He then kicks her once more for good measure before exiting the ring, giving #TheSociety their first victory of the night.
Seth Lawless: I have been quiet for sometime. Mostly because I haven't had much to say, and the fact that I have been thinking about this match that I have for awhile. Finally Nathan became smart and gave me a shot at a title. Although the odds are a little stacked against me in it.
He shrugs his shoulders and nodded his head.
Seth Lawless: For awhile now I have eyed the Gotham Title that Ash has had. It was a title that I hoped that I would have gotten right when it was announced but I was never given the chance at the title because I was allowed in the tournament but that is fine. Now I have the shot and I know how good Ash has been and she has wanted to shut me up for awhile now. Here is her shot, she can come at me with everything that she has and she can finally try and take me out. But I also have a shot against her, I can hurt her where it hurts and I can win the title that she holds dear.
As for Zooey well I faced her last week and her and I fought tooth and nail. She kicked me in the throat and I damn near broke her leg, and that is the best thing about Zooey I can target the leg she hurt and I can make her feel pain in the leg again and quite frankly that is what I intend to do, because at the end of the night I will win a singles title, I will be the Gotham Champion and then no one will overlook me again.
BACKSTAGE
The scene fades into the backstage area more specifically, the women's locker room. Avery Smith is sitting on a bench, her head in her hands. Earlier in the night, Team Snapback had lost their Tag Team Championships. Sitting with a dejected look on her face, Avery aggressively throws her equipment bag onto the floor. That is when Emily Jackson walks in, equally disappointed.
Emily Jackson: Avery, I'm so sorry. We wanted so much to retain the Championships, but--
Avery raises her hand and shakes her head, pleading with Emily to stop.
Avery Smith: Emily, please. Don't.
Emily hears her, but continues to apologise anyway, feeling as though she's solely responsible.
Emily Jackson: I really am sorry. This is my fault. If only I--
Avery stops her again. This time, with more sternness in her voice.
Avery Smith: Emily, seriously. STOP!
Predictably, Emily continues to blame herself. She positions herself in front of Avery, to show how sincere she is in her apology.
Emily Jackson: Please, Avery. I feel responsible for our loss. Our Championship reign should have been so much more than what it was!
Avery exhales heavily, somewhat resemblant of a sigh. She looks at Emily, as she stands up. She places a hand on her partner's shoulder, looking to offer support. But then, she pulls Emily in and lays her out with her Endgame knee strike. Before Emily can fall, Avery grabs her by the hair and flings her into the wall. Avery scowls, getting down onto one knee beside the fallen Emily.
Avery Smith: No, Emily. I'M sorry!
Avery retrieves her bag and possessions and makes her exit, leaving Emily unconscious.
PREVIOUSLY RECORDED
The video cuts to an obviously previously recorded clip, taking us inside what looks like an high school gym. A small crowd of young men and women gathered around a wrestling ring, their eyes glued on the action happening inside. One of the two girls spinning around in circles is Liberty Pros own, Isabella Strickland, who now locks her student in a headlock. It doesn't take long for the young girl to get free, pushing Jsy against the ropes and waiting for her to bounce back. Her intentions are way too clear, especially for an experienced fighter. Strickland ducks under the big boot attempt sliding between her legs, and quickly jumped back on her feet behind the womans back, quickly wrapping her arms around the waist and dropping the opponent on the mat with a perfectly executed German Suplex.
With a smile, Isy helped her back on her feet, explaining her, and the rest of the student, what she did wrong, and how to improve her game.
A slow, ironic clapping follows her words. Everyones attention turns to the source of the applause, and the look of surprise on their face seeing Helena Noir sitting on the stands tells quite the story. The tattooed woman slowly gets up and walks to the ring, looking past the small crowd, right into Isabellas eyes.
Helena Noir: You know Isy, I heard you had this passion for training, and that you were quite good at it. I had to see it with my eyes because, quite frankly, I couldn't actually picture you teaching anything Except, maybe, how to sell your dignity.
As she gets closer to the ring, the group of students split, opening a path while looking at Helena with a mix of curiosity and concern, perfectly aware of the bad blood between the two women. Noir points her finger to the girl who was sparring with Isabella.
Helena Noir: That that was impressive. Why don't you try again?
Helena steps inside the ring and provokes Isabella, getting in her face with a cocky smile.
Helena Noir: This time against me
Isabella smirks, glaring right into Helenas eyes, and trying her best to maintain her composure surrounded by her students.
Isabella Strickland: Why spoil the surprise?
Holding her ground, Isabella eventually steps back from Helena and shakes her head.
Isabella Strickland: You know you really shouldnt have come here, Helena. I was content just letting this all be settled in the ring, but here you are. What I did? It was all business. You? Youve just turned this personal for me.
Before Helena gets the chance to respond, shes taken down courtesy of a cheap shot from none other than Anastasia Hayden. Ana starts putting the boots to Helena, but Noir shoots back to her feet and goes for a takedown that brings Ana down to the canvas, the two brawling with no regard for one another before Isabella and some of the students have to pry all parties involved apart. Helena quickly wiggles free from the weak hold of one of the students, but, contrary to what everyone seems to expect, she doesn't try to fight back. Instead, she rubs her busted lip with the thumb, looking right into Anas eyes while addressing Isabella.
Helena Noir: I guess I walked into the Be sure you always have someone who can fight your personal battles for you class.
She says with a smile.
Helena Noir: You know Isy, Ive been in your position before. I had people fighting with me, people I called friends. I put my career on the line to save theirs, I sacrificed title shot to give them chances to shine Once they got what they wanted, they didn't hesitate to put a knife between my shoulders.
Anastasia and Isabella both shake their heads, denying that something like that could ever happen between them, that the bond they share is much deeper and solid.
Helena Noir: You could have won that match, Strickland. You, not Ana, could have been the next in line for the Liberty Championship. I really wish you won't end up regretting this chance you wasted as much as you will regret messing with me.
Helena turns on her heels and walks away, leaving one last message on her way out.
Helena Noir: See you both in a couple of days, ladies.
MATCH FIVE: TRIPLE THREAT FOR THE GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Zooey West-Jaa vs Seth Lawless vs Ashleigh Powell ©
wrote:
Its a feeling-out process in the beginning with all three circling the ring until Seth feign-attacks Ashleigh to strike Zooeys face with a forearm shot. Zooey retaliates with elbow shots and knees to the body, so fast that Seth is forced to back off. Wanting a piece of the action, Ashleigh pulls Zooey to turn around for an elbow-collar tie-up before wrenching the arm, looking for a hammerlock. Zooey works on an escape before reversing with a short-arm knee strike to the midsection. Zooey and Ashleigh start trading shots when Ashleigh ducks to counter with a waist lock from behind. Zooey tries to stop Ashleigh with back elbows but the defending champ locks her arm with Zooeys, making her counter strikes almost futile. But Ashleigh loosens the hold nonetheless, only to transition with an arm drag. As they pop back to their feet, Zooey throws a roundhouse kick but Ashleigh runs under her leg to sweep her up in a schoolgirl pin. Zooey kicks out at one before scrambling to her feet. Ashleigh proceeds to run for the ropes behind. On the rebound, Ashleigh delivers a forearm smash that sends Zooey bowling over backwards on the mat. Just as Ashleigh returns to vertical base, Seth returns to the action with a huge lariat that sends her rolling far across the ring after impact. Ashleigh slowly pulls herself up in the corner, only to get hit with a dropkick to the face, Check Yo Teeth, by Seth. As Ashleigh crumples to the mat, Zooey takes a crack at Seth with a back kick to the midsection. As Seth doubles over, Zooey runs the ropes but in the rebound, Seth lifts her up in the air and drops her throat-first on the ropes. Zooey clutches her throat as she staggers around before Seth runs her down with a stiff shoulder block. Ashleigh attempts to cut down Seth but he fights back with a huge forearm shot that has her staggering back into the corner. Zooey struggles to pull herself up in the opposite corner while Seth continues to keep Ashleigh down with another forearm shot. Looking to Zooey, Seth hits a running forearm smash before doing the same to Ashleigh. Grabbing Ashleigh in a side headlock, Seth takes her down with a bulldog while also running Zooey down with a lariat. Seth goes for the cover on Zooey but Ashleigh breaks it up at two.
Seth and Ashleigh lock up in the centre before he goes for an aggressive side headlock takedown. Ashleigh rolls up her legs to counter with a leg scissor hold. It doesnt take Seth long to break out of the hold but as he scrambles to his feet, he charges at Ashleigh who counters with a drop toe hold and connects with a quick ankle lock on the landing. Seth grows frantic as he reaches out for the nearest ropes. When Seth does, Ashleigh releases him before spotting Zooey marching over to her. While Seth recovers on the outside apron, Ashleigh looks to counter Zooey with an arm hook but Zooey stops her with an arm hook too, only to get tossed across the ring in a monkey toss by the champ. Zooey pulls herself up but Ashleigh hits a dropkick to her knee before rolling back up to her feet and taking her down with a DDT. Ashleigh drags Zooey by the legs to the centre of the ring, looking for her Sharpshooter finisher. But as Ashleigh lifts up the legs, Zooey twists her body to counter with a modified victory roll but it only earns her a two-count. The match continues with the two women locking up in a clinch before Zooey getting the best of Ashleigh with vicious knees and elbows to the head. As Ashleigh staggers back, Zooey takes her down with an impressive chick kick. Zooey scrambles for the pin but only gets another two-count. As Ashleigh struggles to her feet, Zooey grabs her from behind with a waist lock. Ashleigh manages to throw Zooey over on the canvas. Keeping a firm grip on Zooeys one wrist and then the other, Ashleigh holds her down on for the pin. Zooey kicks out at two before rising to her feet. They now grip each others hands and neither wants to give in. Zooey turns them around and forces Ashleigh to roll over and off her back. As Ashleigh lands on her feet, she quickly goes for a suplex and lands it with a pin, still keeping the grip. Zooey kicks out and they both rise to the feet, still locked in the hold, before Zooey runs Ashleigh into the corner behind. This breaks the hold for one pair of hands and with the other, Zooey spins Ashleigh around before grabbing her head in a three-quarter facelock to hit it with a painful raised knee. As Ashleigh staggers around, Zooey takes her down with a Pele kick.
At this point, Seth slides back inside the ring and he and Zooey collide in the centre with furious punches and kicks. Seth eventually gets the upperhand as he takes down Zooey with a devastating german suplex, nearly getting a three-count. As Zooey slowly pushes herself up, Seth kicks her head disrespectfully and the crowd jeers. Zooey finds temporary refuge in the corner before Seth comes charging in with a huge Stinger splash. Zooey clutches her chest as she staggers out of there. Seth grabs Zooey for a biel throw into the opposite corner, making the crowd cringe at the crazy impact. Zooey folds over on the mat, allowing Seth to go for the cover. But Zooey somehow rolls her shoulder off the mat in time. Seth sets up Zooey in the corner again and lashes out another painful forearm shot. As Seth gears up for more punishment, Zooey dodges it with a quick slip through the ropes. Seth crashes hard into the turnbuckles. Zooey kicks Seths face and as Seth turns around to get some distance, Ashleigh returns with a kip-up dropkick that sends him down on the mat. Ashleigh turns to Zooey whos trying to regain her bearings on the outside apron and starts to throw punches but Zooey fights back with her own that has Ashleigh staggering back while clutching her jaw. Seth now marches over to Zooey but she holds her ground as she stops him with an effective kick to the midsection. Seth staggers back again and Ashleigh comes charging at Zooey who quickly drops the top rope down, sending the champ toppling over to the outside. With Ashleigh out of the way, Zooey makes a beeline for taking out Seth as she re-enters the ring and takes him down with a picture-perfect enzuigiri. The impact sends Seth rolling across the ring before he struggles to push himself up on the middle rope. Sensing the opportunity, Zooey goes for her tiger feint kick finisher, S̄eụ̄x tea. It connects and Seth drops on the mat, no longer moving. Zooey goes for the pin, hooking Seths leg. But just before three, Ashleigh breaks it up with a sliding axe handle. Zooey clutches her back before getting tossed out through the ropes, landing hard on the outside floor. With Seth still out, the crowd is on their feet as Ashleigh scrambles for the cover and gets the full three count.
WINNER: Ashleigh Powell by pinfall @ 17:34l
RINGSIDE
Pacing back and forth in the ring, Helena Noir is ready for her match. But the duo are clearly taking their time to aggravate Helena. Eventually Chewing Glass by END plays, confusing Noir as Anastasia Hayden steps out from the curtain in her ring gear and Isabella Strickland follows behind in her casual wear. Ana rolls into the ring, microphone in hand, and a smirk of arrogance on her face.
Anastasia Hayden: Well...this isnt exactly going as planned for you, is it? I figure with all the surprises, us trying to one up each other, its best that I go ahead and finish this by giving you the greatest gift of all. Tonight, right now, instead of Isabella...you get to face me!
The crowd boos loudly, but Helena nods, ready for the fight.
Anastasia Hayden: And Helena, its going to be a two-for-one special gift. Not only do you get the honor of fighting me, but you get the honor of losing to me. So no more surprises, its time to fucking drop you.
Dropping the mic along with her smirk, Anastasia backs into the corner and waits for the bell to sound.
Helena Noir vs Isabella Strickland w/Anastasia Hayden

And as soon as it does sound, the two are right at each others throats with dueling forearms to the chest. Ana gets the upper hand after blatantly raking Helenas eyes and backing her into the ropes, throwing her across, and dropping Noir with a dropkick. Hayden tries for a pin, but Noir breaks out almost immediately. Back on their feet, Noir takes Haydens feet out from under her and tries for an elbow, but Ana rolls out of the way. Popping back up, Ana tries for a penalty kick, but Helena grabs Haydens leg and twists her over for an ankle lock.
She wrenches it for only a second, but Noir has to release the hold as Hayden reaches the ropes. Helena tries going after Ana, but she wisely tangles herself up in the ropes and the referee has to keep Noir at bay. Which gives Hayden the opportunity to rise back up and blast Noir with a forearm smash. The crowd boos as Ana drops Helena with a snap DDT following her cheap shot. Lifting Helena back up, Ana throws her into the corner, and runs in with her cornered yazuka kick.
Slumping to the bottom, Noir gets blasted yet again as Hayden meets her with a facewash. Up to the top, Ana steadies herself before coming off looking for her Romanov Grave! But Helena rolls out of the way, back up to her feet, and planting a kick to Anas midsection before lifting her up for Noirs Ink Yo Face (Double Underhook Sitout Facebuster)! She rolls Hayden over and makes the cover!

TH-KICK OUT!
Helena shakes her head as Ana just gets her shoulder up. Not ready to argue the count, Noir goes back to work as she picks Hayden up, and hooks her head, looking to lift her up for a cradle DDT, but Ana fights out of it with shots to Helenas ribs. Ana catches Helena with a nasty elbow that knocks her back and a dropkick to the knee brings Noir down. Hayden hits the ropes and connects with The Magnolia Knee (Bicycle Knee)! But she cant make a pin as Noir wisely rolls out of the ring, causing Hayden to yell out in anger.
On the outside, Helena starts recovering and as she does, the towering Isabella Strickland is right in front of her. Strickland stays back, but that doesnt stop Noir from blasting her with a hard elbow. But she cant attack any further as Ana flies out of the ring with a suicide dive that sends her and Helena down! Hayden gets back up, throwing Noir into the ring, and as Ana slides in, Helenas back on her feet and blasts Ana with a shining wizard! She tries for a cover and hooks Anas legs!

Lifting Ana to her feet, Helena throws a hard elbow, but Hayden fires right back, only to get caught with a flying armbar! And Noir maneuvers it into a triangle choke. Its locked in tight! But Anas able to roll over and pin Helenas shoulders on the mat, forcing a break before the three count. Back to her feet, Anas still dazed as shes quickly dropped back down with a leg lariat from Helena. Grabbing Hayden by her head, Noir positions herself toward the corner, looking for Stay Gold!
But as Helena runs up the turnbuckle, Ana pushes her through, and Noir lands on her feet for Hayden to hook for A Million Reasons (Somersault Reverse DDT)! Hayden spikes Noir down onto the back of her and Ana flips Helena over, hooking the legs, and the referee counts

WINNER: Anastasia Hayden by pinfall @ 16:20
The bell sounds and Isabella Strickland rolls into the ring, lifting her best friend up onto her shoulder as the duo celebrate Anastasias win over Helena. The crowd boos as the two keep celebrating their victory.
BACKSTAGE
Scarlett Highland paces her locker room with her Trials championship tucked safely against her shoulder. She's mumbling quietly to herself when there's a knock on her locker room door. Her eyes shoot open as she shouts.
Scarlett Highland: FINALLY!
Highland walks over to the door and pulls it open and looks at a young woman in formal business attire.
Scarlett Highland: I almost fired you as soon as I hired you. Do you know how late you are?
The young woman looks at her watch and clears her throat.
Business Woman: I'm actually twenty minutes early, Ms.Highland.
Scarlett Highland: O-M-G just get in here and lets get this experiment under way.
The woman walks into the locker room as Scarlett closes the door behind her. She sits a briefcase on the bench and looks at it.
Scarlett Highland: As my new assistant, Jenny, you ALWAYS need to play by my rules. Are we clear?
Jill: It's actually Jill, but of course. I work for you, not the other way around. Now, the blindfold experiment.
Scarlett Highland: Can't you open that briefcase any faster? Jeez.
Jill opens the briefcase and pulls out a single, black, blindfold. She holds it up to the light and you can't see through it. She walks behind Scarlett.
Jill: Okay, I'm going to put this on you if you're ready.
Scarlett looks nervous and sucks in a gulp of air before she nods her head. She rubs the Trials championship on her shoulder as Jill, her assistant, wraps the blindfold around the eyes of Scarlett.
Jill: What can you see?
Scarlett's response is rushed, her voice is shaky and frantic.
Scarlett Highland: I can't see a thing!
As soon as she responds, Jill removes the blindfold.
Jill: And that's exactly what Mr.Callaghan will see tonight.
Scarlett Highland: Mr.Callaghan? But I want Nathan to see my match!
Jill: I was referring to Brendan, I apologize.
Scarlett's eyes light up. She hugs Jill before pulling away excitedly.
Scarlett Highland: He won't be able to see a THING for the first five minutes of our match? Seriously?
Jill: Seriously. As long as he wears a regulation blindfold, much like this one, he will be completely blind for the beginning of your big match tonight.
Scarlett Highland: Yasssss!
She shrieks in excitement as she runs her hands across her Trials championship.
Scarlett Highland: You aren't going ANYWHERE tonight. You're staying right here with me!
Scarlett smirks as the camera fades out of her locker room.
MATCH SEVEN: NO DQ MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Zeke Reed vs Felix Vialpando
wrote:
The match immediately breaks out into an all out brawl between the two men, firing shots at each other with the crowd egging them on. Despite getting in a few good shots, Felix is quickly overpowered by Zeke with hard jabs to the face and body. Zeke forces Felix into the corner before knocking him back with a short-arm elbow. Felix staggers along the ropes, clutching his face. Zeke follows after with a hard knee to the midsection that drops Felix on his knees. Zeke connects with a hard football kick to the spine, prompting the Liberty fans to collectively cringe away. Felix gasps from the impact, arching his back in agony. Zeke exits the ring to look for a chair before returning inside. As Felix rises to his feet again, Zeke swings the chair right down on his head. Felix crumples on the mat, flat on his back. Tossing the chair aside, Zeke pulls up Felix to his feet when Felix starts fighting back with a weak elbow. Zeke responds with a body hook that has Felix doubling over. But it seems to awaken something in Felix as he suddenly retaliates with an uppercut that has Zeke staggering back. While Zeke shakes it off, Felix throws him down with a snapmare and delivers his own stiff kick to the spine. Zeke arches his back in pain when Felix grabs the same chair and attacks him with it, dealing more damage to his back. Clutching his back, Zeke writhes on the mat in anguish. Felix pulls Zeke in for the cover but only gets a two-count. As Zeke rolls over on his belly, Felix grabs him by the neck to yank him up. Felix connects with an arm wrench before doubling Zeke over with a body kick and irish whipping him to the other side. As Zeke rebounds, Felix jumps up, allowing him to run under. Zeke continues to bounce off from the opposite ropes when Felix rolls back over on the mat, only to get hit in the behind by Zeke with a well-timed front dropkick. Felix faceplants right on the chair before scrambling for the ropes. Zeke pulls up Felix and sets him up in the corner for a stiff forearm shot before finding the chair. While Felix recovers, Zeke sets up the chair in the opposite corner. Then Zeke irish whips Felix to the opposite corner but Felix reverses the throw, sending him head-first into the chair. Zeke crushes to the mat and Felix seizes the opportunity to grab the steel chair and carry it with him as he climbs up the turnbuckles. Then Felix holds the chair to his chest before executing a corkscrew moonsault, Spiral Down. It connects and hurts both men doubly hard due to the chair. Tossing the chair aside, Felix goes for the pin but somehow Zeke kicks out before three.
Growing annoyed, Felix stomps down hard on Zeke before pulling him up for a cradle DDT. The impact leaves Zeke flat on his back, allowing Felix to hook his leg for the pin. But again somehow Zeke kicks out before three and crawls to the nearest corner. Agitated now, Felix stomps down on Zeke who falls back against the lower turnbuckle. Felix slides out of the ring and proceeds to pull Zeke closer to the steel ring post before slamming his leg into it. Zeke screams in agony, clutching his leg. Felix drags Zeke out of the ring and looks to slam him into the crowd barricade but Zeke reverses the throw, sending Felix shoulder first into it instead. As Felix struggles to push himself up, Zeke returns with one of the long camera cables and ties it around Felixs neck, looking to choke him out. Felix flails around before finally fighting back with elbows that loosens up the hold. Felix continues to lash out with leg kicks that has Zeke unable to retaliate much as he drops on one knee. Thats when Zeke grabs the same camera cable and yanks it hard, forcing Felix to stumble right onto the floor. Zeke picks up Felix and tosses him into the ring but he comes back around with a tiger feint kick that sends Zeke down on his back. Seeing an opportunity, Felix climbs up onto the barricade as the fans cheer in delight, only for the excitement of a potential high risk move. But when Felix takes off, Zeke rolls out of the way, leaving him to crash and burn hard on the concrete floor. The crowd goes ooh! as they look on in disbelief and concern. Both men take their time to recover before showing signs of life. Zeke is the first to get to his feet and he drags Felix back into the ring. Zeke goes for the cover but only gets a two-count.
Zeke goes for a rear chin lock that has Felix struggling to escape. Felix eventually gets to his feet somehow and Zeke cuts him short with a stiff elbow to the back of his head. Felix collapses on all fours before crawling towards the ropes. Zeke follows after Felix as he rests on the bottom rope, giving Zeke the opening to stomp down hard on his head. Felix immediately regrets it as he collapses on the rope, somewhat dazed. Zeke comes out of the ring and after getting some distance, he charges at Felix for a leaping dropkick right to his head. Felix hangs on the rope, his face on the apron. Zeke drags Felix fully out on the apron, carrying him in an electric chair position. Despite Felixs punch attempts to escape, Zeke keeps him on his shoulders and flips him around to switch to a wheelbarrow hold before taking him down with an impressive lungblower right on the outside floor. Zeke drags Felix back inside the ring and goes for the pin, but again Felix somehow kicks out at two.
Felix slowly pushes himself up as Zeke takes a moment before marching over to him. Zeke delivers a body kick that has Felix cringing back. Zeke follows up with another, but this time, Felix catches his leg. Felix switches hands with the leg hold and moves under it, keeping Zeke struggling to keep balance on one foot. Felix then delivers a stiff kick to the leg that drops Zeke face first on the mat, clutching his leg. With a snarl, Felix drags Zeke closer to the ropes before slingshotting himself with a boosted knee drop. Zeke rolls away clutching his chest in pain then struggles to push himself up. Felix pulls back Zeke for another excruciating knee drop, sending him once again to roll away to safety. Felix proceeds to stomp hard on Zeke repeatedly before the referee steps in to separate them with a warning to Felix. The crowd jeers and Felix yells back at them, annoyed. Felix finds the camera and yells into it too, already declaring himself the winner. Meanwhile, Zeke struggles to keep awake. Felix takes his time to march over to Zeke before setting him up for his Omega driver finisher, Falcon Call. The impact leaves Zeke incapacitated, allowing Felix to go for the lateral press. But at the very last second, out of pure instinct, Zeke gets his shoulder up, shocking Felix and the rest of the Liberty crowd.
Agitated, Felix yanks Zeke to his feet and starts throwing punches. But Zeke fights back with a well-timed elbow to the face before launching into his five punch combo, the Sugar Ray Jawbreaker. With the final uppercut, Felix drops on his behind, stunned. As Felix rolls over on all fours, looking dazed as fuck, Zeke gives it all hes got left and comes charging at him for his dangerous curb stomp finisher, American History X. The Liberty fans go ooh! as Felix drops face first on the mat, no longer moving. Gripping his hurt leg, Zeke goes for the pin and gets the huge victory.
WINNER AND NEW #1 CONTENDER FOR LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP: Zeke Reed by pinfall @ 21:24
Zeke stumbles up to his feet gingerly as he raises his hand in victory. Felix rolls out of the ring before looking up at Zeke with a frustrated look on his face, knowing that he was finally defeated.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage, Brendan Callaghan stands before the camera with a dopey grin on his face and a blindfold around his forehead like a headband.
Brendan Callaghan: Hey Scar, hows it going? You ready for our match tonight? Cause I am. I mean, I beat you once recently but you dont accept that. You accused me of cheating!
Brendan points to himself, feigning disbelief.
Brendan Callaghan: Me? Cheating? Come on, Scar. Two reasons why I put the bag over your head; 1, you told me not to touch your hair so I had to improvise and 2, I was protecting the good people of Liberty from seeing your face.
Brendan bursts out laughing at his own lame joke.
Brendan Callaghan: Look, I know Ive said before that I dont want your Trials championship. And that its not about the title, its about you. You tweeted that Ive been a pain in your ass but the truth is, youve been a pain in mine since October at Battle Symphony. I hate the way you dangle that win over my head for weeks, I hate how you somehow manage to keep your title with each defense, I hate that you call yourself a fighting champion who had to overcome all the adversity in the world to win it and keep it and not cause you tried the easy way out every time. Come on, woman, at least I admit all my shit. And I also really really hate your dumb reality show but most of all? I hate that I let you get to me this much.
Brendan shrugs his shoulders.
Brendan Callaghan: Call it cheating or whatever you want but that night when I pinned you, history shows I beat you. And Ive considered us even. Really, Im good. But you cant have that. You want revenge. And so here we are. You somehow convinced my dad to put you in that gauntlet match at Battle Symphony and now you managed to do the same till he says that I have to wear this blindfold for the first 5 minutes tonight. Okay, fine. Challenge accepted, Scarlett. Keep throwing things at me. Ive got so many tricks up my sleeve to counter your dumb rules. Im ALWAYS game! Are you?
Brendan reaches down into a bag and pulls out a Rubik's cube before tossing it towards the camera. It doesnt hit the lens, just harmlessly landing on the ground before the camera.
Brendan Callaghan: Here you go! I hear you love playing the Rubiks cube. Just dont get too grumpy, okay? What, you already are? Ive been getting on your nerves? Im your most GRRRR rival?
Brendan looks directly into the camera as a satisfied smile slowly spreads across his lips.
Brendan Callaghan: Good. Seeing you flustered like this makes me a happy man. Hmm Maybe its time for Brendan Callaghan to finally make something of himself and become the next Trials champion. What do you think, Scarlett? Its got a nice ring to it.
With a chuckle, Brendan pulls the blindfold over his eyes and flashes his pearly whites at the camera.
Brendan Callaghan: Whatever it is, Im just gonna beat you, Scarlett. One. More Time.
He points to the right before making a dramatic superhero-like exit in that direction, still blindfolded. A second later, you can hear a loud bump as if someone accidentally walks into a table. The audio picks up a loud OOOF!! before the scene cuts away.

The match starts with Brendan blindfolded as per the stipulations set, Scarlett seems amused by this and keeps jumping in front of him and back out of the way, eventually growing tired of her games, Brendan lunges forward and tries to grab for her, but instead trips over his own feet, falling flat on his face. Scarlett laughs, holding her stomach for dramatic effect. She waits for him to start getting to his feet before kicking him over to his back.
Brendan lies there for a moment or two like a turtle on it back, his feet and hands in the air as he flails wildly. Eventually, he brings himself up to his feet. Grabbing the rope he springs off it and charges across the ring, knocking into Scarlett more by chance than anything else, they both stumble and she grabs hold of him, taking him down with her, he lands on top of her and there is some awkward blindfolded shuffling as he tries to get off the angry Scarlett, who is kicking at him to get off of her.
Once they are both back on their feet, she grabs him and runs round and round in a circle, when she lets go, the blindfolded Brendan again stumbles, this time so dizzy he barely gets his hands out to break his fall as he crashes into the canvas just as the buzzer goes off to signal he can remove his blindfold.
Scarlett was already going for a basketball slide at Brendan and cant stop herself as he whips off the blindfold and slides out of the way, connecting with a kick to the back of her head, straight to his feet he takes several stomps down with body shots. Scarlett rolls up onto her knees and bends over, but Brendan lands a solid kick right into her abdomen that leaves her reeling, as he drops down and connects with several hard shots to her head, he is cautioned by the official, immediately backing off.
He stamps down on her chest, before yanking her up with a suplex, following it up with a second before he wraps up her up for a powerbomb, as he lifts her though, two masked assailants suddenly enter the ring, the official, distracted by the first, doesnt see the second who is waving around Nathan Callaghans infamous bat. Brendan doesnt see it coming, taking the bat to the back the barbed wire sinks into his skin and tears it up, blood trickles down the back of Brendan, he turns to meet the butt of the bat to his jaw, laying him out flat.
As quickly as they arrived, first the armed assailant and then the other, roll out of the ring and back up the ramp. Scarlett, who simply watched the whole thing go down, rolls over onto Brendan for the three count, as soon as the officials hand hits the mat, she rolls out of the ring, complaining that Brendan got blood on her new outfit and because of that, she cant stay to celebrate!
WINNER AND STILL TRIALS CHAMPION: Scarlett Highland by pinfall @ 14:21
The medical team rush out to check on Brendan to see that hes okay as Scarletts stands at the top of the entrance way, raising her Trials Championship in the air.
BACKSTAGE
In the backstage area, the cameras find our Liberty Champion, Melissa Reeves, alone in a dark and solitary corner. She is sat the wrong way around on a steel chair, her arms on top of the back.
Melissa: I was wondering how long it would take for you to show up. I suppose you want some words, huh?
The camera vaguely nods.
Melissa: You know, last week was a horrible mess. I got beaten down backstage, lost a match I was never in, then lost to Becky after disregarding medical advice to take the night off. But that was last week. I arrive here tonight off the back of one of my biggest career wins in the midweek, vs Aurora Jansen.
She slowly nods.
Melissa: Aurora is a hardened warrior. A veteran. A woman I respect and admire. Basically? Everything Becky Balfour wishes she was but most definitely isnt. Aurora brought me hell. She fought fair. She fought hard. She beat me up at times. But I never quit. I never stopped. I weathered the storm and I defeated her.
She looks up to the camera.
Melissa: Just like how tonight I will weather whatever Becky brings. She may have been the first Liberty champ, but shes no Aurora Jansen. No, she needs her goons to be her crutch. She needs underhand tactics to overcome me. And tonight were walking into a street fight. Becky thinks shes picked a match that suits her best. After all, she can do whatever in this match, no disqualification. That tips it in her favour, right?
Shaking her head, Melissa laughs.
Melissa: WRONG. A match where Im not restrained by my will to follow the rules doesnt tip things toward you, Becky. It kicks them, hard, toward me. Where I would normally fight with honour and integrity - look those words up later, I know you have no idea what either mean - tonight I get to let loose. In your rush to try and manipulate the match into something that favours you, you showed your ignorance again. Melissa Reeves, former hardcore wrestler...that ring a bell? It should. Read wikipedia sometime, or something. But in your hubris youve shown your hand, you clueless bitch.
The laugh returns, and she stands, folding the chair into a weapon.
Melissa: You think youre playing on your homefield here, but youre not. Youre stepping foot into mine. And tonight Im going to remind you what hell feels like. Im going to cut you down once again, Balfour, and Im going to demonstrate just how far beneath me you truly are. And then? When the smoke settles, when I walk out with my championship? Then I will welcome a WORTHY contender, because I will be done with the PRETENDER.
She steps forward, holding the chair ready.
Melissa: See you soon, Rebecca.
As she walks past, she gives a confident smirk, ending the scene.
BACKSTAGE
Becky Balfour-Lawless is sitting next to a Christmas tree in #TheSociety locker room.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: Would you believe this is the first year I've had a Christmas tree in my residence for as long as I can remember?
Becky smirks as she rocks her body back and forth while still seated on the floor.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: This is the season of giving, and I fully support that ideology. However, for years, nothing was given to me other than dirty looks, empty promises, and a hard time. Now that I'm in a position of power, a place where I can change lives for the better, I've done so, but I'm still ridiculed. I'm slandered for supposedly having ulterior motives. That all changes, tonight, because tonight? I'll be doing some giving, just as I will be doing some taking.
Becky reaches towards the tree and flicks a red Christmas ball decoration with her fingers and then watches it sway back and forth as she continues.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: Melissa Reeves will be given the gift of an ass kicking, why? Because she's been nothing more than a self-righteous, egomaniacal, bitch. You see Melissa Reeves fails to recognize any of her own shortcomings, but is the first to point out a flaw in others. Melissa Reeves is exactly the type of person that will never belong in my Society, because she's not for the cause, or the people around her...she's selfish. She clings to the Liberty championship as a security blanket. The only proof to solidify her own views of superiority...but Melissa, when I give you this ass kicking tonight, I will be taking back what is mine, and that is...the Liberty championship.
Becky spins a green decorative ball to face the camera. #TheSociety emblazons the ornament.
Becky Balfour-Lawless: We're all supposed to be Festive tonight, but the reality is the only F word I am...is FOCUSED. Melissa Reeves is the champion you all want, but I'm the champion you all need. At the end of the night, Liberty Pro will be restored as the top territory in the CWC...as my family stands tall.
Becky laughs as the camera fades out of the locker room.

Before the match can even begin, Melissa charges Becky and barrels over both Becky and the official, who manages to land on the ropes and scramble out of the way as he calls for the bell to be rung and the pair begin to roll around the mat trading blows. Melissa gets the upper hand first and crashes her elbow down into Beckys face, who tilts her hips slightly and brings her head up to slam it into Melissas causing her to back off just enough for Balfour to mount Reeves in return, grabbing a handful of hair, Becky bounces Reeves head off the canvas before Mel is able to throw Balfour off.
Both competitors retreat to a corner to catch their breath before Becky crouches low to the mat, resting back on her toes she places her hand on the canvas and locks eyes with Melissa right before spearing her hard through the ropes, the pair both tumbling to the outside and hitting the floor hard in a heap. Becky rolls off Melissa and both take a moment to shake the cobwebs from the impact before Melissa jumps up and runs at Becky, with a double stomp to her face, she bounces Beckys head off the steel steps with a loud thud. Becky grabs at her head and rolls away, backing up to the barrier. As Melissa tries to charge her again, Becky is able to counter with a drop toe hold and Mels jaw hits the barrier before he comes down next to her.
Becky cradles her head for a moment longer before getting to her feet and going to the ring to try and get a weapon but she can duck under the apron to retrieve a weapon, Melissa gets her hair by a handful and wrenches her neck back before dropping her with a neckbreaker. Melissa picks Baflour up but Becky counters with an elbow to her gut. Becky makes a run and dive for the apron and disappears under the ring before Melissa can catch her. Melissa bangs on the apron and calls for her to get the fuck out and with a boo from the crowd. Becky soon pops out the other side, as Melissa rounds on her, Becky swings a bat that she pulled out from under the ring and connects with Melissas shoulder, a sick crunching thud echoes throughout the arena as the bat connects. Becky goes for a second swing but Melissa grabs the end of the bat and shoves down and back, nailing Beky hard in the ribs with the bat.
Becky pulls back on the bat trying to pull it free from Reeves, ramming her shoulder to her own detriment, into the end of the bat she forces it back against the same shoulder and this time Melissa releases the bat to fall back to her knee, holding her onto her injured shoulder. Becky swings the bat one last time and crashes it across that same shoulder, against Melissas hand that had been cradling it and Melissa pulls her hand back with a shake and a yell as the impact. Before Becky can capitalize though, Mel runs at her with a spear and the two crash through the barrier with a thud and the fans are going absolutely nuts.
Melissa gets up to her feet first and she grabs the bat but winces a bit from the pain in her shoulder and fingers. Melissa fights through the pain as she grips the bat with both hands and swings it straight into Beckys side. Becky lets out a howling scream as she rolls around in pain. Melissa then grabs Becky by her hair and drags her towards the two glass cases that are set up in the front of the ring near the entrance way. Melissa gets up on the apron and picks Becky up with her. It looks as if Melissa is going to suplex Becky through the glass casing but Becky rakes Melissa in the eyes. Melissa is blinded for a moment and Becky tries to throw Melissa through the glass casing but Melissa fights back. The two battle back and forth with each other, throwing hard rights and lefts before they both throw hard forearms at each other, knocking each other so senseless that they both fall, each going through one of the glass cases that are filled with thumb tacks.
Both women scream out in horror as their bodies are cut up from the glass and have thumbtacks sticking into them everywhere and the fans start to cheer, HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT! Both of them get out of the glass cases and fall to the ground, both lying there in pain but both of them are now able to pin each other. Eventually they both get in the ring and Melissa grabs Becky, lifting her up for a Reaver Slam. Becky manages to slide off of Melissa and slides behind her back. Becky then grabs Melissas head and pulls her down before yelling. Becky then nails Mel with Scream For Me (Reverse DDT). Becky goes for the pin and the referee counts to two and just before he can get to three, Melissa kicks out and the fans go absolutely nuts.
Both women lie their battered and bloodied as Becky glances over at Reeves in shock. Becky picks Melissa up again and grabs her by the head and she screams out again before hitting Melissa with a SECOND Scream For Me. Becky lies there for a moment, catching her breath before she throws an arm over Melissa. The referee counts to two and once again Reeves somehow manages to kick out right before the three count, literally leaving no room for error. Becky is frustrated now as she rolls out of the ring and grabs the Liberty Pro Championship. She gets back in and holds it over Melissa, screaming that its her championship and that it belongs to #TheSociety. Becky then steps back and holds the belt up, ready to charge Melissa and lay her out with it.
Melissa struggles to her knees and when she gets up to one foot, Becky charges. Melissa somehow finds a burst of energy before she leaps up in the air and hits Becky with a Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker), driving her knees straight into the Liberty Pro Championship, which in turn connects into Beckys face with a devastating effect. Blood begins to pour from Beckys head, along with all the other cuts and wounds that she has from earlier. Melissa manages to pin Becky and the referee makes the count and Melissa picks up the three count.
WINNER AND STILL LIBERTY CHAMPION: Melissa Reeves by pinfall @ 30:44
Melissa struggles up to her knees as shes handed the Liberty Pro Championship. She grips it with two hands as she gazes down at it, her eyes watering with a mixture of joy and exhaustion as the fans cheer REEVES, REEVES, REEVES! As loud as they can, so much so that the sold out 20,000 crowd is deafening. The ending scene of the night is with Melissa clutching her championship and waving to the crowd with so many emotions running on her face.

ONE!
