LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...
LIBERATION: EPISODE SIXTEEN
LIVE ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 5TH, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK
A DAY IN THE LIFE...
The familiar logo of 'A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland' flashes across the screen, sending the fans into their cheers and boos depending on if they are a fan of the reality starlet. The letters this time are red and green, in place of the normal pink themed layout.
Next we see Scarlett in front of an all white screen, her eyes wide with excitement.
Scarlett Highland: This is a very special HOLIDAY edition of my show! As everyone knows, Christmas AND New Years have just passed. I hope everyone had as good of a holiday season as I did...
Piped in sounds of tires screeching is heard.
Scarlett Highland: Wait, I defended my Trials championship on the 23rd and then celebrated Christmas two days later. There's no way any of you had as good of a Christmas as I did, but still! Happy Holidays!
Highland winks at the camera.
Scarlett Highland: On this episode I'm going to be sharing one of my favorite gifts that I received with you guys. Now, I could show off my pretty new car that Cy got me, or I could show off the beautiful swimsuit that my mom got me, but NOPE! I'm going to show off what the bossman himself, BIG CALLAGHAN, Nathan Callaghan got for me! Warning, it's super adorbs and you're going to fall in love, so if you have a soft spot for animals, you're in luck!
Next we see the picture Scarlett posted on Twitter of her and a lamb next to a Christmas tree.
Scarlett Highland: That's right, Nathan Callaghan got me a LAMB for Christmas! Now, he's cute, cuddly and he smells really good, but he loves to eat and is going to cost a lot of money, so Nathan thought ahead...and raised my salary, putting me near the top of the highest paid wrestlers in Liberty. I'm sooo thankful for my boss!
The scene cuts to Scarlett eating a banana. She shrugs and then tosses it to the side.
Scarlett Highland: How to eat a banana like Scarlett Highland coming soon...but that's all for this weeks HOLIDAY edition of A Day In The Life Of: Scarlett Highland. I'll see you guys next time, after I successfully defend my championship tonight against Keisha, or Keke, or Kiwi...yeah, her!
Scarlett blows a pink kiss to the camera that turns red and green when it hits the screen, fading out and to ringside.
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut backstage to rookie Keisha Quickens standing in front of a camera by herself.
She is already dressed in her ring gear, and the look on her face is pure excitement.
Keisha Quickens: So are you guys ready? I mean really ready? I have been about to burst thinking about this match all week. I mean not only is it my third match in the business, but this it is for my first championship. Even bigger than that, it is against someone like Scarlett Highland.
The crowd booing from inside the arena is picked up on the camera. KeKe seems to notice it as well, looking away from the camera in the direction of the inside of the arena. She shakes her head and the smile on her face fades a little.
Keisha Quickens: We dont need to do that. I know that she is a super opinionated person, but you guys dont have to boo her on my account. I actually kind of look up to her. She was over in that company in Texas with my cousin for a while. She actually beat up one of my new friends while she was there. I know she is good, and maybe that is why she has been able to hang onto her Trials Championship for so long.
He shrugs her shoulders, but her confidence does not break at all.
Keisha Quickens: I have to go out there, do all the things that I have already been doing, and hope for the best. I talked to Scarlett a little bit when this match was announced, and promised that we were about to make it the best part of this whole show. We get to go out there first, so we get to set the standard for the rest of the night. I dont think that this match is going to be over in under a minute. Im not even going to say without a doubt that I am going to walk out as a champion. It would be great if it happened, but its just not in my personality to make that assumption.
She looks over off screen again, and nods towards something that the fans cannot see.
Keisha Quickens: All I know is that when I walk out of this curtain, and come down to that ring, I am not going to be blindfolded for the first five minutes. Theres not going to be any shortcuts. I might be a rookie, but in the last couple of weeks I have proven that I have some skill. More importantly, I have proven that I am focused on this match. It may have been the holiday season, and I have important people in my life, but when I signed a contract I knew that it meant that stuff like that has to come second to doing this. This is the life that I wanted, and now I have an opportunity tonight to go out there and take a major leap forward.
The smile is back on her face full force as she takes a few steps towards what she was looking at. The camera turns with her and shows that she is just behind the curtain at the top of the stage.
Keisha Quickens: I have friends, family, trainers, and all of you amazing fans just on the other side of this
She reaches out and runs the fabric between her index and middle fingers.
Keisha Quickens: I wont let you down. Im going to come out there and fight my hardest. Whatever happens, I promise it is not going to change me. Lets start off this show this year with a bang. Lets give people something to talk about not just for the rest of the night, not the rest of the week, not the rest of the month, but the rest of the year. I am up to that challenge. I wonder if Scarlett is up to mine.
She blows a kiss to the screen and her music is pumped throughout the arena PA.
Keisha Quickens: Lets do this.
She turns, disappearing behind the curtain as the cameras cut back inside the arena.
MATCH ONE: TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIP 20 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
Keisha Quickens vs. Scarlett Highland
wrote:
Winner: Scarlett Highland
Finishing Move: Twenty minute time limit expired
Near Falls: Keisha Quickens (4), Scarlett Highland (5)
Match Length: 20:00
Match Notes:
The match between Scarlett Highland and Keisha Quickens did not disappoint. The two battled it out to a twenty minute draw and the match had a ton of drama. Scarlett almost won a couple of times by holding Keishas tights and using the ropes as leverage, but Keisha managed to survive and kick out. Scarlett even hit Keisha with That Will Leave A Scar but Keisha somehow got her foot on the bottom rope. When the match was nearing its end, Keisha had hit Scarlett with Quiksand (buzzsaw kick) but Scarlett, using her high IQ, managed to roll out of the ring. Keisha couldnt pin Scarlett and the time expired.
Post Match:
Scarlett was announced the winner due to the time expiring. Her music played and she was handed her Trials Championship. Scarlett jumped up and down in excitement before putting an L up on her forehead and sticking her tongue out as she looked towards the ring.
EARLIER TODAY...
At first all you can see is a black screen, complete darkness.
There's loud rumblings, a screeching crash, and what sounds like people screaming. Feet rushing every which way, windows breaking. Something along the lines of complete chaos enters your mind, even before the video feed kicks in.
All five members of #TheSociety stand upon a stone slab, overlooking what appears to be a city in ruins. Seth and Becky on the right, Elodie and Trent on the left, with Warren in the middle. Buildings on fire, the world crashing down everywhere. However, #TheSociety seem unphased, collected, and even ready to fight. They stand tall against the anarchy, as look at it like an old friend. Warren Corbett unlatches the Liberty Pro Championship from around his waist, holding it in his hands.
Warren Corbett: Since the very inception of the Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship, I've been there, #TheSociety has been there - and we've embraced the chaos at each and every turn. Carina may have been the very first person to hold the championship, but it was #TheSociety who shaped it. I first won this belt by defeating Carina herself, and Vitor Mata, in a ladder match at Shippin' Off To Boston - defend it in cage matches, falls count anywhere matches, tables, and first blood. It left my hands for BARELY a month before I got it back in an Anything Goes match, and boy did I take that to heart. That's exactly what this division is about - anything goes. Chaos. ANARCHY. If there's anyone that can claim this division as their own, it's #TheSociety.
Warren takes hold of the championship in his right hand, holding it up to the sky. At that very moment, each member of #TheSociety did the same, holding their right hand up to the sky, as if they too were holding the belt. Any one of them could have been.
Warren Corbett: And of course, I do mean ALL of us. Becky, Seth, Trent, Elodie and myself. Because if not for them, where would I be today? If not for them, how would I have been able to shape this division as I see fit? We've all taught each other so much, and we continue learning from one another. #TheSociety grew up in chaos, we grew up in Anarchy. If you think about it, isn't it just the most perfect match of them all? It's sort of what brought us together in the first place, and what continues bringing our Followers to us. People will always tell us we're not good enough, try to beat us down. We've faced more adversity than any others here in Liberty, and in CWC. In life. We've walked through anarchy our entire lives. We share this in common, and we deserve this belt. #TheSociety, and the Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship.
Warren dropped to his knees, now holding the belt with both hands, out in front of him.
Warren Corbett: Of our opponents, how many of them can say the same? Carina may have brought this belt into existance, but once it left her fingertips, it took on an entirely new life. Vitor also managed to take the belt as his own, but what place does an arrogant, rich, and "handsome" guy like Mata have in the Anarchy division? He had a few successful defenses until he lost it to Reeves. Vitor wasn't willing to do what our match required of him...anything goes, remember? Those were the rules and we embraced them to the fullest. Take that as you may, but Vitor has never earned his spot in this division. Neither has Isla, nor Romeo Black, nor Coda. None of them have a right to be competing for this championship. Romeo has challenged for it many times, never actually winning. Isla continues floating around with little to no purpose, and Coda tries to create her own purpose, only to fall flat on her face yet again. I asked you on twitter a few days ago Coda - do you regret sticking your nose in our business yet? You didn't answer then, but I think I already know the answer. This belt is STAYING with #TheSociety.
Still upon his knees, Warren holds the Anarchy Championship high into the air with both hands. Each member moves into the middle, with Becky and Seth still on the right, and Trent with Elodie on the left. They stand behind and beside him.
Warren Corbett: And I do mean ALL of us. Because this belt has always belonged to us as a whole, hasn't it? We are good apart, but together we're a well oiled machine, together we make things happen. We're family. What do Santa's misfit toys have on Family? We know each other, inside and out. At this point it really doesn't matter who gets the pin, as long as it's one of us. #TheSociety, as one, are the Liberty Pro Anarchy Champion.
The four standing members of #TheSociety reach other, touching the belt with one hand. For the first time, the camera zooms in on the belt. Where the holder's name is engraved, instead of saying 'Warren Corbett' it simply says, #TheSociety.
Cut.
BACKSTAGE.
The scene cut backstage to Liam Callaghan standing in front of a camera with a smile on his face. He was already in his ring gear, clearly he was ready for his main event match with Ashleigh Powell.
Liam Callaghan: So tonight, I go one on one with Ashleigh Powell for the Gotham Championship. This match is huge and easily one of the top matches of my career. Ashleigh is one of the people in this sport I respect and she is a damn fine champion, one that Liberty should be proud to call their Gotham Champion. But that belt? I want it. I know Im the enemy tonight, I know that Ashleigh needs to represent Liberty Pro tonight, but I need to represent myself and most of all, the Callaghan name.
Liam nodded confidently as he paused to let his words sink in.
Liam Callaghan: That being said, I know Ashleigh is going to bring the best that shes got tonight and that Im going to bring that out of her because shes doing the same for me. So you all need to buckle in and be ready for tonight because Ash and I? Were going to blow the roof off of this pla-...
Liam lost his concentration as his eyes look to the left in confusion. The camera pans over to the left and theres a man walking out of Nathan Callaghans office with a few tapes in his hand and hes wearing a Batman suit.
Liam Callaghan: Hey! What are you doing coming out of my dads office!?
The man in the Batman outfit freezed in his tracks as he looked over to Liam and Liam can instantly tell who it is.
Liam Callaghan: Brendan, what the hell?
Brendans eyes widened as he ran up to Liam in urgency.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Robin! There you are! Ive been searching everywhere for you. Please do not call me by that name.
Brendan looked Liam up and down and scoffed.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Where is your outfit, Boy Wonder? I mean...
Brendan realized he was speaking in his normal voice, so he cleared his throat and spoke in an exaggerated low, husky voice.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Where is your outfit, Boy Wonder?
Liam rolled his eyes hard and shook his head.
Liam Callaghan: Come on B, Ive got a match to prepare for and I cant play these games right now.
Brendan smiled widely and nodded.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: B? As in for Batman and definitely not Bruce or Brendan? I DIG IT! I love the code name but you can, you know, call me Batman.
Liam shook his head.
Liam Callaghan: Fine Batman!... What are you doing?
Brendan, er, Batman, held the tapes up to Liams face.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Your brother Brendan was a victim of a serious crime at Festivus For The Rest Of Us and Im the greatest detective in the world. So Ive secured the security tapes from the show to find out WHO stole your fathers bat!
Liams eyes widened in surprise.
Liam Callaghan: Wait, for real? You have the security tapes?
Brendan nodded.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Yes, and now I must secure a VCR to go over them. Who the hell uses tapes to record anymore?
Brendan laughed rolled his eyes before opening up the case that had the tape and he soon realized that the case actually had discs in it.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: Oh! I guess I need a DVD player. This stuff better be in blue ray!
Liam sighed and shook his head before placing his hand on Batmans shoulder.
Liam Callaghan: Hey, Ill help you look those over after the show tonight, okay? But I got a match to get ready for and so do you. Ill see you later.
Liam walked away and Brendan looked confused.
Brendan Batman Callaghan: A match? Batman doesnt wrestle.
The scene then cut out.
MATCH TWO: SINGLES MATCH
Maddux Kingcade vs Felix Vialpando
wrote:
Winner: Felix Vialpando
Finishing Move: Falcon Call - Omega Driver
Near Falls: Felix Vialpando (3), Maddux Kingcade (5)
Match Length: 14:53
Match Notes:
With an eventual special reward on the line, Maddux and Felix put it all out there in this one. Maddux managed to kick out of Felixs Birds Eye View, while Felix was able to kick out of Fuck Yo Grapes. Eventually Maddux went for Fuck Yo Grapes again but Felix ducked out of the way and Maddux knocked the referee down, though he pulled back a bit, so he didnt hit the referee with full force. With the referee down, Felix hit Maddux with a low blow before hitting him with an Omega Driver. The referee came to right on time and counted to three, giving Felix the victory.
Post Match:
Felix celebrated his victory as the bell rang and the referee raised his hand in victory. Bad Company by Five Finger Death Punch then blared over the PA system as Nathan Callaghan walked out to the entrance way with a microphone in hand.
Nathan Callaghan: We havent always seen eye to eye, Felix But since you won this match, even though it was with some shady tactics, you have earned a shot at the Gotham Championship and that will be your reward. Also, if I were you, I wouldnt turn around.
Felix looks confused as he turns around and hes met by the FYG Elbow (Roaring elbow) from Maddux Kingcade. Maddux yelled a few things at Felix before exiting the ring and Nathan simply laughed at what happened from the top of the entrance way.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts to the back where Maddux Kingcade is seen frustrated and upset over his loss to Felix. He looks into the camera and shakes his head.
Maddux Kingcade: Is this how its gonna be here in Liberty? Getting cheated out of matches and passed for title chances because of what? Im not some little girl that kisses up to Nathan Callaghan? Ive had championship runs and big name wins and Im give. Nothing in return. But then you have people like Keisha Quickens who are two matches into their career and getting title shots. She couldnt even cash in on that chance either.
Maddux shakes his head, his frustrations growing.
Maddux Kingcade: You know what? Maybe its time I took what I wanted here. Its obvious that anything you earned is taken from you or not good enough So fuck it. Im gonna take what I deserve And then some.
EARLIER TODAY
At the parking lot of Liberty Pro's event, we see Honey getting out of the taxicab taking her to the event. She wears a red padded coat with faux her poking out from the hood over her head. The black glasses she usually tweeted about were on her face. She collects her gym bag from the back.
Honey: Thank You!
She says before passing the taxi cab driver a tip for driving her to the event. A ten dollar note. She is then approached by Tim Anderson in a grey long jacket with a handful of cue cards just in case.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and Gentlemen...Is that...
He sharply turns to the lanyard Honey is wearing. Her Staff pass to the event is slightly obscured by Honey's Liberty Pro Shiny Nathan Callaghan trading card.
Tim Anderson: Shiny Bos-Shiny Mr. Callaghan?
Honey looks down at the card and nods before looking up to him.
Honey: Yes! I got it in my latest pack! I was so shocked! But it's shiny!
She says letting the daylight show off her card reflecting the light.
Tim Anderson: Tonight, you take on Helena Noir in your debut match. Can we get any thoughts on how you feel about her?
Honey: Ummmm, well, I do know Helena is a tough fighter. Like, she won a HUGE Last woman standing match before Liberty City and she's got a lot of Liberty Pro matches with, like, gold star wins!
Honey says pulling out a gold star from the many she keeps in her pocket to put it on his microphone.
Tim Anderson: Well look at that!
He looks at his microphone and at his cameraman.
Tim Anderson: I'm like Captain America if he wielded a microphone made out of vibranium.
His chuckle falls on a seriously lost Honey who chortles after politely.
Tim Anderson: Anyway, Anyway. You know what Helena has done before Liberty, but what about you?
Honey: Ummm, well, I had a BIG triple threat match for, like, a world title at GOL after I became the Super Falcon Cup Winner.
Tim Anderson: Falcon Punch, am I right?
Tim offers her a Captain Falcon punch pose which Honey bumps his fist and reacts like Baymax from Big Hero Six.
Honey: Balalala!
She says as her fist floats up with her fingers fluttering.
Honey: And! I was a tag team champion too! And I also faced Coda, to, like a count-out fall too. Um, I also won my first main event super show against Amy-Jo.
Tim can be seen nodding along as Honey looks up with her finger to her lip thinking of all she's done before this day.
Honey: And I also did a BIG Christmas Brawl too.
Tim Anderson: Which has brawl-t us to this next question...how do you plan on winning against, as you said, a former Victory Wrestling Heritage Champion. Who laid down the challenge to the giant Isabella and won?
He looked smug at the camera at his wordplay pun before giving Honey the camera. Honey narrows her eyes determined and
Honey: Well, Helena is a giant too.
As Honey was told she was normal sized, anyone over 5'7 was, therefore, a giant to her.
Honey: And I have lots of submissions like she used on Isabella to use on her too, like, take her down and show off my moves. I learned a lot of Judo about how to, like, make sure attacker people go down on the ground and don't steal from me, so I will have to do that to Helena I guess.
Tim Anderson: Judo! That wasn't in my notes. Hang on a second.
He says beginning to ruffle through his notes as Honey taps him on his shoulder.
Honey: Um, Mr. Anderson?
He looks over to Honey with her coat on and the fact she's got gloves on too.
Honey: It's cold. Can we, like, go inside, please?
Tim nods with his nose growing red a little bit and end the interview there.
BACKSTAGE
Coral and Nami Azul appear uncharacteristically serious and tense as they step out in front of one of the Liberty Pro cameras, already dressed in their teal and peach matching ring gear for their title defense (and of course the championship rematch) against Avery Smith and Emily Jackson, Team Snapback later in the evening. Each girl has a shining gold belt over their far shoulder, the glint of the lights sparkling around them like halos as Coral speaks, Nami laying her cheek on her twins shoulder as she does so.
Coral Azul: We did it. We totally did it! We beat not just Team Snapback again, but we beat those two Holier than Thou Barneys Colt Brady and Cami McGatha to gain these golden beauties were wearing right now. We did it because the right man for the job believed in us and brought us in after being highly impressed with our work in another company and he knew, he knew the stock of the tag team division would rise exponentially with the addition of my sister and I.
Nami pipes up softly, blinking but not quite looking at the camera.
Nami Azul: And Nathan loves being right.
Coral pats her twin soothingly and nods.
Coral Azul: Yes honey Nathan does love being right. But in this glorious golden moment, my poor twin was under heinous attack! While Festivus for the Rest of Us was a stunning success for the Girls of Summer, we also had to deal with a hugely scary situation as a masked person, possibly a stalker or a serial killer, went after poor Nami! And laid a HAND on her! It was
Nami Azul: (wails) IT WAS AWFUL!
She buries her face against her sisters shoulder as her own shiver.
Coral Azul: And a likely thief too! Or at least a copycat but anyway! We are willing to pay a REWARD of some sort for information that leads to the capture of this masked menace, tout suite! Surfs up, were champions and all is right in the world EXCEPT this stalker, this dangerous individual!
Nami looks up, her eyes dewy and her lips pouty.
Nami Azul: First I was afraid! I was petrified! But I survived!
Coral blinks and looks at her twin and then shrugs a little.
Coral Azul: But were putting that aside tonight and putting our combined focus on Team Snapback - you never thought we were worthy even after we beat you that first time. Then we did this, and not a word from either even though you had a little spat. How Rude.
Nami Azul: It was TOTALLY rude!
The two girls snap their fingers and then whirl, walking away from the cameras and deliberately making those booties bounce as they link hands and start to skip down the hall.
MATCH THREE: SINGLES MATCH
Brendan Callaghan vs Zooey West-Jaa
wrote:
Winner: Zooey West-Jaa
Finishing Move: Tiger Feint Kick
Near Falls: Brendan Callaghan (2), Zooey West-Jaa (3)
Match Length: 10:34
Match Notes:
Brendan started the match off by sliding out of the ring, wanting nothing to do with the Muay Thai expert that is Zooey West-Jaa. Zooey exited the ring and chased Brendan around until he got in the ring and when she did, he dropped a knee on her head before she could get up. This gave Brendan an advantage at the beginning of the match. He would try several things to cheat to win like using the ropes in a pinfall but the referee caught him. Zooey was resilient and eventually took over the match. She took Brendan out with a Tiger Feint Kick at the end and would pick up the win.
Post Match:
Zooey slid out of the ring and headed backstage, choosing not to celebrate. Brendan was slow to his feet but he saw in two masked people coming out from the crowd. They slid into the ring and Brendan didnt know what to do until he pulled out a plastic bottle of taco sauce that he always keeps in his pocket. He sprayed the assailants in the eyes and blinded them for a moment before he looked to unmask one of them but a third masked assailant came into the ring and slammed the barbed wire bat that was stolen from Nathan Callaghan straight into Brendans back. The masked person went to hit Brendan again but Nathan Callaghan came charging out from the back with his youngest son, Liam Callaghan. The three masked people bailed out of the ring and left through the crowd as Nathan and Liam checked on Brendan, who can be heard asking if his cat Lasagna was okay.
BACKSTAGE
After her match, Zooey West-Jaa is shown walking backstage towards her locker room, by her side is Dom Wolfe and the pair are comparing notes on her match as she sips from a bottle of cold water, a renewed confidence to her walk, as they turn the corner they are met with Liberty Pro owner, Nathan Callaghan; the trio exchange basic greetings and pleasantries.
Nathan Callaghan: I was hoping to run into you sooner rather than later.
Zooey West-Jaa: Oh yeah? Not to complain about my treating your kid like a wrestler and not a sideshow act I hope?
Zooey looks behind her and fakes a dramatic shudder.
Zooey West-Jaa: I keep thinking small, shrill and pink is gonna jump out at any second its like being stalked by a Barbie doll only you cant pull its arms off without someone getting upset.
Nathan doesnt look too amused by Zooeys joke as Dom chokes slightly trying to hide his laughter.
Nathan Callaghan: Right No, I just wanted to confirm with you that much like Felix your win tonight means you have secured yourself a shot at the Gotham Championship.
Zooey rolls her eyes and sighs.
Zooey West-Jaa: Right. Another three way, great! Cant fucking wait!
Dom elbows her fairly sharply and after giving him a menacing glare she relents and looks back to Nathan with a very big, very fake smile.
Zooey West-Jaa: Thank you for the opportunity Nathan.
Nathan Callaghan: No need to thank me, you earned it.
Zooey and Nathan share a nod before he continues on his way, she waits until he is out of earshot to turn and look at Dom with a growl.
Zooey West-Jaa: Remember the days when champions actually defended their titles instead of being booked into glorified protection rackets? He knows she cant beat me one on one, just like she does, I dont need to cheat my way through like me note taker
Dom Wolfe: Then Maybe you find a way to take him out the equation?
Zooey smirks and leans in close, stealing a kiss from him.
Zooey West-Jaa: Smart ideas are like that, are exactly why I love you.
BACKSTAGE
Honey is seen organizing her locker in the locker room, making sure she puts up the wallpaper just right. Before she puts her wrestling boots at the bottom and then just inches them to sit perfectly.
Honey: There!
But she turns around to grab her bucket of strawberry KitKats only to see a hand reach out and grab them for her. The camera then reveals it to be a fan and a good friend of Honey's. Dressed in a spiderman top and jeans with a thick black jacket over the top, Dylan Watson.
Dylan Watson: Spider-Honey's secret stash, hmmm?
He says offering her the bucket and Honey tilts her head a little with a radiant smile.
Honey: Yes! I always make sure I have, like, Strawberry KitKats just in case of, like, an emergency and stuff!
She turns to go and put them in the back of her locker behind her boots.
Dylan Watson: Almost time for your match, you need to get those boots on to kick butt.
Honey then looks at the little clock she hung in the top and realizes.
Honey: Yes!
She then grabs her boots and stuffs her legs in.
Dylan Watson: There's the Super Falcon Cup Winner, looking good.
He nods approvingly at her as Honey chortles tying her laces.
Honey: Super Falcon Honey reporting for action!
She says then striking quite a heroic pose.
Dylan Watson: You'll do great tonight I just know it.
And opens his arms to a hug. Honey embraces it and then squeals excitedly.
Honey: It's so close to my debut!
As she shakes a little with excitement, seeking a strawberry KitKat to calm her nerves and gives one to Dylan too.
Dylan Watson: Don't be nervous. You're talented, Honey, very talented.
He takes a bite of his KitKat himself. Honey smiles and nods with a mouthful of KitKat herself but murmurs enthusiastically.
Honey: And I will show it! Let's go!
She grabs his wrist and dashes for the door, yanking Dylan along with her to take him back to his seat while Honey would go to the curtain for her match.
MATCH FOUR: TORNADO TEN MAN TAG FOR THE ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
#TheSociety(Trent, Warren, Elodie, Becky & Seth) vs Isla Carter, Romeo Black, Vitor Mata, Coda & Carina Eventide
wrote:
Winner: #TheSociety (Warren Corbett picks up pinfall)
Finishing Move: Detroit Is Burning (Seth Lawless)
Near Falls: Warren Corbett (5), Coda (4), Romeo Black (1), Carina Eventide (3), Vitor Mata (2)
Match Length: 15:35
Match Notes:
This match was hectic, as expected but #TheSociety proved their point and showed that they truly are a family as the only person on their side to attempt pinfalls was Warren Corbett. Meanwhile on the other side of the match, the unlikely team of Coda, Vitor, Isla, Romeo and Carina managed to keep on getting in each others way. Coda had Elodie pinned for what looked like a three count after hitting her with her finish, but Vitor pulled Coda off and dropped her with a mean implanted DDT. This gave Seth Lawless the chance to hit Vitor Mata with Detroit Is Burning (pop up powerbomb) and Seth stepped aside to let Warren pick up the three count.
Post Match:
#TheSociety cleared the ring of everyone except for Coda. Coda soon got to her knees and she looked around but the sight of the five members of #TheSociety did not intimidate her. Coda immediately got to her feet and charged Warren, tackling the larger man down and taking him by surprise as he didnt expect her to attack. Coda began to throw forearms into his face before the rest of #TheSociety pulled Coda off. Becky hit her with Scream For Me before an angry Warren ordered his friends to pick her up. Becky and Seth picked Coda up and shoved her towards Warren who lifted her up and took her out with The Battle Ax (Spinning High Impact Spinebuster). Warren grabbed his Anarchy Championship and stood over Coda, holding it up as the rest of his companions celebrated with him.
BACKSTAGE
Helena Noir was clearly not happy with what happened at Festivus For The Rest Of Us. Her scheduled match against Isabella Strickland got changed last minute, and she had to face Anastasia Hayden instead. And she lost. When Tim Anderson met her backstage, she didnt seem to be in mood for talking, but nonetheless, the Liberty interviewer tried his luck stopping her on her tracks.
Tim Anderson: Helena, do you mind a few questions?
The tattooed woman rolled her eyes, not hiding the fact that she would rather be anywhere but there at the moment. Nonetheless, she sucked it up and dropped her bag, cracking a forced smile to the camera.
Helena Noir: Sure thing Tim, go ahead.
Tim Anderson: I think what all our fans are asking is how do you feel after last week setback. You were coming up strong, and
Helena interrupted him.
Helena Noir: Tim, darling Theres not much to say about last week, dont you think? I had a match against Isabella Strickland, I lost to Ana Hayden. How that could happen? You tell me.
Tim Anderson: Uhm, I guess Nathan Callaghan changed
Helena Noir: And why?
Her question cut off the interviewer and caught him off guard.
Helena Noir: Good answer. This is the second time Anastasia Hayden gets involved in a match she wasnt scheduled for. The first time, she walked out with a number one contendership, this time, she settled for a win against me. Which I have no shame in admitting. I wasnt prepared to face her, I walked in with a gameplan for Strickland and that change threw me off.
Tim Anderson: You still put up one hell of a fight in a match that could have gone both ways
Helena Noir: Shame it didnt go my way, right? Look, Im not looking for excuses, Im not looking for excuses. I lost, clean. Did I get close to win? Sure, but it wasnt enough. Im not one to bitch around, when things dont go my way, Ill sit back and learn from my mistakes. Anastasia is right, you should be ready for everything in this business.
The backstage interviewer stared at Helena speechless for a brief moment. He noticed her expression changing for a short moment, and he was wondering what that sparkle in her eyes could mean. Finally he was able to break the impasse, asking the next question he prepared.
Tim Anderson: Anyway, tonight you will be facing the newest addition to the Liberty roster, Honey Sunshine. We heard her before she had very nice words for you. What are your thoughts on her, and what do you think she can add to the company?
Helena Noir: She has nice words for pretty much everyone
She said with a smile.
Helena Noir: And Im not saying it as if it was a bad thing. Shes the most sweet and genuine girl you can meet but, more than that, shes also talented. I saw her competing in GOL, and Im sure she will do great things here in Liberty Pro as well. I have the privilege to officially welcome her to New York, but that doesnt mean I will go easy with her.
A door behind them opened, and one of the backstage worker stepped in, cursing under breath. From the brief moment the door remained open, the weather didnt get any better. It wasnt snowing, but that harsh icy wind was still blowing.
Helena Noir: This place is much like this city today. Beautiful, but unwelcoming. Hostile even. Some of the people you will meet here, Honey, are not afraid to stoop to new lows just to get one over you. I could name you some after the match, if you want. But, believe me, as soon as you learn how to deal with that, there is no other place you want to be.
The weather wasnt nice today, and neither will be your debut. Im not here to be your welcoming mat, and Im sure that, if Callaghan booked this match, he has great expectations for you. And so do I. Lets see what you got, Honey.
She smiled, a different smile from the confident and somewhat arrogant one we saw her wearing in many different occasions. Honest, sincere. Friendly. And this seemed to unsettle Anderson for a moment.
Tim Anderson: Uhm Right. So, whats next for Helena Noir? Any dream opponent you would like to face at the next super show, No Mans Land? Someone in Empire you are looking forward to fight?
Helena Noir: I still feel like I have unfinished business with Isabella. And Anastasia as well, considering the recent events. But when you look at the Empire roster, sure as hell there are a couple of names I would love to fight. People like Spider, Jessica Anderson, Jenson Idol, a young talent like Kenzie Rydell to name a few, the International Champion Misha LeCavalier
Or Kasey Summers. I still remember the Last Woman Standing match we had in Victory last year, for the Heritage Championship. Its still one of my favorites if Im being honest. And I like to believe that neither of us would spit on the opportunity to, once again, tear the house down.
Tim Anderson: Thats definitely something I would love to see. Well, nothing left for me to do but wishing you good luck for your match.
Helena nodded, thanking Tim and leaving the scene.
BACKSTAGE
Right, I promised to explain myself. So here I am. Just get on with it, Tim!
The scene fades in from black, with Avery Smith standing alongside Tim Anderson. The crowd fills with mostly boos, though there is an unsureness surrounding the reaction.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this ti
Avery Smith: They already know, Tim. Just do what youre paid to do and get on with it!
Avery scoffs at the interviewer, not wanting to spend any longer in front of the camera than absolutely necessary.
Tim Anderson: Well, I guess theres only one place to start. You and Emily Jackson were really close friends. In fact, up until Festivus the pair of you were the Liberty Tag Team Champions. Yet, later in the night you attacked and assaulted her backstage. Naturally, the question on peoples minds is: why?
Avery sighs, though its not entirely sure if its because she regrets her actions or if because her motives are in question.
Avery Smith: Look, Team Snapback hadnt had the greatest title reign. Its no secret that we took our foot off the gas since claiming the gold, and that is extremely frustrating. Neither myself nor Emily are content with how we faired as Champions, and we simply both have different ways of dealing with it.
Avery closes her eyes, picturing the way things transpired in her mind.
Avery Smith: See, I like to reflect in silence and figure out exactly what went wrong. Emily prefers blaming nobody but herself, even though Im at least as much to blame as she is. But if I were to claim that I simply attacked Emily last week because emotions were running high, what would you think? Dont bother answering, I can tell by your face that you wouldnt believe me.
Tims arched eyebrow gives it away, as hes sceptical of Avery throughout the entire interview.
Avery Smith: And youd be right not to, because Id be lying. Yes, tensions played a small role in it. But Emily deserves the truth. You all do. And the truth is, at the time I didnt know what came over me. I wasnt in control of my actions, and regretted it as soon as I left the room. However, recently Ive been having constant thoughts about how Emily and I can better ourselves as a team. I found that it comes down to taking risks and improving the chemistry between us. I couldnt come up with a plan on exactly how we were going to do that, but I knew that fate would figure it out for us. And the fact that I couldnt control my actions that day? Id put that down to fate, personally.
Avery nods her head, content with her answer.
Avery Smith: Yes. Thats it. Fate. Now, Emily. I dont expect you to forgive me or understand straight away. These things take time, I know that. But by attacking you, Ive exposed the hidden tension there was between us, that neither of us knew existed. By knowing that there wasnt perfect unity between us, it allows us to work on improving that and the end result is a stronger friendship. That puts us in a much better shape for our title rematch tonight. The Girls of Summer will be facing a rejuvenated Team Snapback. So Tim, THAT is why I attacked Emily. Fate!
Avery rolls her eyes at the interviewer as she walks off, closing the scene.
MATCH FIVE: SINGLES MATCH
Helena Noir vs Honey
wrote:
Winner: Helena Noir
Finishing Move: Fondu Au Noir
Near Falls: Honey (5), Helena Noir (2)
Match Length: 13:23
Match Notes:
This match was a clean one between Helena and Honey, with the two going back and forth throughout the entire ordeal. Honey impressed in her debut, even hitting Helena with Honey's Ultimagic (Jumping Spike DDT transitioned into a Guillotine Choke with her legs wrapped around the body). Helena refused to give up though and got out of it with a rope break. Honey tried her best to keep Helena down, getting several near falls throughout the match but Noir showed her resiliency as she continued to kick out. The two showed off their technical prowess with Helena pulling off the victory with Helena making Honey submit with Fondu Au Noir (Cradle DDT into a Guillotine Choke) and picking up the victory.
Post Match:
The referee raised Helenas hand in victory after the match had ended. Honey, who looked phenomenal in her debut, got up on her feet and she walked towards Helena before offering a handshake. Helena looked at Honey for a moment before accepting the handshake and then she raised Honeys hand in the air, showing great sportsmanship between the two competitors.
BACKSTAGE
A video segment starts to play. Images of the exterior of a local NYC radio station are shown, before switching to one of the Liberty Champion, Melissa Reeves, standing inside the building.
Melissa: Hey guys, its...10am, Saturday morning, and Im about to go on air to conduct an interview. Wish me luck.
The segment fast forwards, following her into the recording booth, he shaking the hosts hand and her sitting down.
Host: Welcome back, folks. Greg Nugent here, and Ive been promising you a special guest all morning. Well, shes here now. For those of you who dont know, Liberty Pro Wrestling is...well, a pro wrestling company, and theyre based right here in New York City, with a weekly show every Saturday. Its hard hitting action, folks, but thoroughly entertaining. Anyway, joining me right now is their top champion, the lovely but tough Melissa Reeves. Melissa, thank you for joining us here today.
She smiles over toward him and nods.
Melissa: My pleasure, Greg.
Greg: Now, Melissa, I must confess that I tuned in to your last match with LPW, vs Becky Balfour in something called a...Society Street Fight? I have to say, wow, it was brutal!
Reeves chuckles a little.
Melissa: You know, it was. I cant pretend otherwise. But thats what happens in this industry. You get two people who are hungry for the gold, and they throw whatever it takes at each other. In that case, Becky gave it her best. But, as you can see, it wasnt enough to beat me.
Greg: Thats certainly easy to see with the gigantic chunk of gold you carry around. As a champion you must find a lot of fans recognise you in the street now?
Melissa: Absolutely. I spent a lot of time honing my craft in smaller promotions. Id have crowds of maybe a handful, maybe a hundred. So to now be headlining shows in front of 20,000 screaming fans? Thats something special. And being stopped in the street because someone knows me from what I do for a living is flattering, honestly. Still a little weird to me, but I definitely appreciate the positivity I get from the fans.
Greg: Still, it must get a little much sometimes?
Melissa: There are times when you want to be left alone, sure. Like grocery shopping, or at the gym. But most fans understand that.
Greg: Moving on, youve got another match here in NYC tonight. Tell us about that one?
Melissa: I do, sure. Im teaming with Zeke Reed to face Anastasia Hayden & Isabella Strickland. Now, for those who dont know, both Zeke and Ana have a claim to a title shot against me.
Greg: So youre teaming with a guy that you know for sure you have to defend your title against?
Melissa: I am.
Greg: Wow, that must be tough. To trust him, I mean?
She chuckles again.
Melissa: You know, trust is a very rare thing in our industry. So many people are willing to do whatever it takes to get ahead, even if thats backstabbing their friends, and Zeke and I are hardly friends. Im certainly not putting faith into anyones honour.
Greg: But do you think you can coexist as a team?
Melissa: Well, Greg, weve done it before. And we won that night. Hes a great wrestler and together we do make for a tough pair of opponents.
Greg: So youre confident of winning?
Melissa: Absolutely. Ana is a fantastic competitor, dont get me wrong, and Isabella is no slouch. But theyre not the Liberty Champion. I am.
Greg: Thats very true. One last question, before we let you go.
Melissa: Sure.
Greg: The CWC Night of Trios is coming up this weekend. What is your feeling about that?
Melissa: Well...I mean, given who Im partnering with? I got Moll Reid, current Empire Pro Champion, top star in both EPW and her other company, FGA. Then I have Aurora, and that woman is a star anywhere she goes. Shes won too many titles to list, shes a bonafide top star. So, you know, I feel confident. You asked about trust earlier, and the three of us do have that. We know what we can do and I think were a team who will be a formidable force.
Greg: Fantastic. Melissa Reeves, thank you for joining me here today.
Melissa: My pleasure.
Greg: You can catch Melissa tonight, right here in New York City, at Liberty Pro's Liberation - now on its sixteenth episode! I don't know about you folks, but I will definitely be there to check it out.
The video package ends.
MATCH SIX: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Girls of Summer vs Team Snapback
wrote:
Winner: Girls of Summer
Finishing Move: Sandy Cheeks
Near Falls: Avery Smith (3), Emily Jackson (2), Coral (1), Nami (2)
Match Length: 10:10
Match Notes:
Team Snapback started this match on fire as they showed that they possibly are back on the same page. They had several near falls over Coral and Nami but the Girls of Summer refused to give up. Eventually Emily charged her corner where Coral was and she looked to hit Coral with a forearm smash but Coral ducked out of the way and Emily knocked Avery down and off of the apron. Emily turned around and The Girls of Summer took her out with Sandy Cheeks (Running High knee to the face (Nami) followed by a legdrop (Coral)) before Coral picked up the pin fall and the win.
Post Match:
Girls of Summer celebrated their victory before exiting the ring, leaving a heartbroken Emily in the ring. Avery soon slid into the ring and she began to argue back and forth with Emily who tried to say sorry and plead her case. Emily then wrapped her arms around Avery and hugged her. Avery soon relunctantly accepted the hug. Avery told Emily sorry and they hugged again. Emily then turned to leave the ring but Avery grabbed Emilys hand and turned her back around and took her out with Endgame (Wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm bicycle knee strike). Avery then stood over Emily with an intense look in her eyes, one that the fans of Liberty Pro have never seen before. The fans rained down boos on Avery but it didnt phase her as she looked down at what can only be assumed is now her former partner.
BACKSTAGE
Opening in the back, we see a joyous Anastasia Hayden greeting the camera with the towering Isabella Strickland right beside her. The best friends are eager for the nights events, both with smiles on their faces, and Anastasia leads the charge.
Anastasia Hayden: Were inching so much closer, arent we, Melissa? Because it wont be long before Im taking that Liberty Championship. And boy, I cant fucking wait. I thought Becky was insufferable, but I was greatly mistaken. So kudos to that, Melissa. I know how important your image is to you, so Im sure youll take some pride in knowing youre the most obnoxious here. Now that youve got the Liberty Championship, its gotten even worse somehow. And given who Ive stumbled across thus far in Liberty...thats pretty damn impressive.
Isabella chuckles, nodding in response to Anas assessment.
Anastasia Hayden: But Im not here for your title tonight...not yet. No, tonight is just the sampler. I know how easy it is for everyone to bitch and moan about me being the bosss favorite or that Ive been taking it easy...well, yeah, of course I have. Look at me. Im a fucking SUPERSTAR! Theres no one in Liberty who can even match my star power. Im a fucking asset and Nathan Callaghan realizes that. If I get hurt, who the fuck is really gonna tow on out to see Melissa Reeves? Or Zeke Reed?
Theres a bit of silence as Ana waits for someone to come out and prove her wrong.
Isabella Strickland: No one.
But Isabella answers the question, prompting a smirk from Ana.
Anastasia Hayden: EXACTLY! Lets face it...Im the Goddess of Liberty Pro, alright? If you fuck with me, you get fucked up. Whether it be by my hands or my trusty pal Isabella here. And you know? Im sick and tired of everyone claiming that Isabella sold out her morals to help me...she didnt sell out, she bought into the stock of Anastasia Hayden! Isy and me? We go way back. We trained together in the same shitty school back in Oklahoma and now these two nobodies...were running this place. Were the best! So go ahead...ask me...am I worried about facing Melissa Reeves or Zeke Reed?
Isabella Strickland: Are you?
Ana feigns being taken back by the question, placing the back of her hand against her forehead.
Anastasia Hayden: Am I?
She shoots a glance of concern toward Isabella before turning back to the camera and laughing.
Anastasia Hayden: NO! Of course not! If anything, Melissas the one who needs to be worried tonight. Youve painted this huge target on your back, not because youre the champion, but because no one here likes you. No one respects you. They all see you as easy prey, but Ill give you a bit of respect, Melissa. Youre actively stepping into a battlefield that youre sorely outgunned in...and youre still fighting. Bravo to that. Im not sure if thats just sheer stupidity fueling you at this point or if you truly believe youve got a chance, but either way?
Anas smirk is replaced with a serious expression; as if shes got some genuine concern for Melissa heading into their match.
Anastasia Hayden: Youll need all the help you can get. Same goes for Zeke. I recommend that you two put aside your childish differences and act like fucking professionals, alright? This isnt about any championship tonight. This is about Isabella Strickland and Anastasia Hayden coming into your house and fucking shit up. How are you two idiots going to defend against us?
Isabella Strickland: They wont. Because they never stood a chance in the first place.
A scoff from Isabella caps off her point and Ana pulls the collar of her gear, putting on a bleak face for their opponents for a moment.
Anastasia Hayden: Ouch. Truth hurts, eh? Usually Im the harbinger of reality, but I think Isy will get that point across better than me tonight. So lets have a toast...to those who think they can derail the Isabella and Anastasia steam train! To the poor, misguided, ignorant fools that think they can hurt my feelings by calling me the bosss favorite...to all the idiots who think theyve got a chance.
Isy and Ana hold their imaginary glasses up high, clinking them together.
Anastasia Hayden: I didnt come all the way to Liberty Pro to make friends. To win the respect of anyone. I came here to prove that Im better than every single person here. Im a big fish in a small pond and I dont have an issue with that because all I see are lambs lining up for the slaughter...and this wolf is hungry.
Her eyes narrow, glaring at the camera for a few seconds before walking off.
Isabella Strickland: See you kids out there.
Isy winks and smirks before following Ana off screen as the camera cuts elsewhere.
HEADLINE: TAG TEAM MATCH
Anastasia Hayden & Isabella Strickland vs Zeke Reed & Melissa Reeves
wrote:
Winner: Anastasia Hayde & Isabella Strickland
Finishing Move: She Was Only Seventeen (Anastasia Hayden)
Near Falls: Isabella (1), Anastasia Hayden (3), Melissa Reeves (4), Zeke Reed (3)
Match Length: 17:48
Match Notes:
One of the most highly anticipated matches of the night, Melissa Reeves and Zeke Reed showed that they could team together and work like a well oiled machine at the start. They kept Anastasia and Isy at bay for quite some time but eventually the ever resilient Ana Hayden was able to knock Zeke out with The Magnolia Knee (Bicycle Knee). This gave her team an advantage as they worked over Zeke. Ana and Isy tagged each other out and worked on Zeke but he eventually took Isy out with a cutter. Isy and Zeke tagged in Mel and Ana at the same time and Mel was on fire as she took down Anastasia several times before hitting her with the Reaver Slam but before Mel could pin Ana, Isabella pulled her out of the ring. This turned things into chaos as Melissa left the ring to try to get Ana in. Zeke charged from a different side and as Melissa tried to hit Isy with a superkick, she ducked it and Melissa connected with Zeke. This led to Melissa getting beaten down by Isy and Ana before they put Mel in the ring. Eventually Zeke got back up and into his corner and Melissa was able to knock Ana down. A tired Mel went to tag Zeke but he dropped down from the apron and he glared at a shocked Melissa Reeves. Melissa then turned around and she was met by She Was Only Seventeen (Running Single Leg Dropkick) from Anastasia. Ana pinned Melissa, keeping her eyes on Zeke the entire time but he just stood there and watched as Ana and Isy picked up the win,
Post Match:
Anastasia and Isy celebrated their win in the ring before Ana looked at Zeke and gave him a nod and wink before the two exited and left. Zeke slowly made his way up the entrance ramp and kept his eyes on the ring. Melissa was up now and yelling at him, asking what his problem is and simply glared at her and shook his head.
BACKSTAGE
The cameras cut backstage to Nathan Callaghans office where he is sitting behind his desk, sat in the chair opposite him is Tessa Sweet; dressed in a smart and classy black dress with matching heels, she is leaning into the desk slightly and flicking through a contract laid out in front of her.
Tessa Sweet: And you stand by your assurance that this is going to be formal sit down interviews, not hanging around backstage?
She glances up at him with a tentative expression which he immediately meets with a smile.
Nathan Callaghan: Of course.
Tessa nods and signs the contract, setting the pen down she exhales slowly and shakes her head.
Tessa Sweet: I really hope I dont come to regret this, Nathan
Nathan Callaghan: Why would you?
Tessa gives him a reproachful look before shaking her head.
Tessa Sweet: We both know the answer to that question.
She taps her fingers on the desk, glancing over at the camera she half smirks before meeting his eyes once again.
Tessa Sweet: Why not get started right now?
Nathan Callaghan: Now?
Tessa Sweet: This is as good a time as any right? So, tell me Do you know who the masked assailants are, or how they got their hands on what certainly appears to be your own bat?
Nathan seems momentarily taken aback by Tessas quick fire question before he gathers himself and shakes his head.
Nathan Callaghan: I dont have any leads right now, but we are working diligently to find out who is behind all this.
Tessa Sweet: Any plans to bring your latest offspring into the fold
here? Noel left a rather large space in your media and marketing did she not?
Nathan almost scowls at her, pressing her to quickly switch to another question.
Tessa Sweet: O...Kay and what are your thoughts on the controversy surrounding your Uh
She tries to hide the amused smile that sits on her lips.
Tessa Sweet: Girlfriends becoming tag team Champions?
In an almost unseen movement, Nathan signals to the cameraman and the feed is cut, switching out to commercials.
MAIN EVENT: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Ashleigh Powell vs Liam Callaghan
wrote:
Winner: Ashleigh Powell
Finishing Move: Roll Up
Near Falls: Ashleigh Powell (5), Liam Callaghan (6)
Match Length: 39:28
Match Notes:
This match came with a ton of anticipation and fanfare and it did not disappoint. The former PNW Champion and the Gotham Champion fought their hearts out for almost forty minutes, both having a ton of near falls. Ashleigh almost made Liam tap with the ZETA-16 but he was able to use his power to get out of it. Liam also hit Ashleigh with the Beantown Plunge (Muscular Bomb - Half nelson lifted and dropped into a wheelbarrow driver), which she somehow kicked out of right before the three count. Powell wouldnt relent no matter what Liam threw at her, showing why shes been the Gotham Champion for so long. Liam lifted Ashleigh up as if he was going for Boston Massacre (cross legged michinoku driver) but she managed to counter it and roll up Liam into a pin and she picked up the victory over an exhausted Callaghan.
Post Match:
The bell rang and the fans were going absolutely insane as they were in disbelief at the match finally ending. Ashleigh was announced the winner and handed her Gotham Championship. Liam got up to his feet and looked at Ashleigh with a smile as he shook his head in disbelief. He walked over to her and the two friends gave each other a hug before Liam raised Ashleighs hand in the air in victory.
