MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Sabrina McKay vs Jace Mitchell
Sabrina McKay vs Jace Mitchell
RECAP - Both of these competitors felt like they had something to prove and we’re eager to put the other one down. The fans were more on Jace’s side this go around, which was a nice surprise for him. - Sabrina was able to almost pull off the win with a sneaky low blow, followed by a roll up but the big man powered out of it before the three count. The match went back and forth, with each one getting multiple near falls. - The tide turned when McKay went for her Canadian Destroyer but Jace powered out of it and Alabama slammed her right onto the canvas. She was out of it. - Mitchell ended this one with Wasted! (Sit-out Last Ride Powerbomb) and that she was wrote. WINNER Jace Mitchell METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 6:22 FINISHING MOVE Wasted! |
BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts to the parking lot where Jack Graves is seen stepping out of his blacked out Chevy Silverado with his usual duffel bag, and a brand new Revolver Pro black metal briefcase. Anyone who'd been watching his rise of late knew what the case contained. A contract for a guaranteed title opportunity against the Revolver Deep South Champion. A contract with his name on it.
Graves pauses for a moment to lock up his vehicle, and when he turns to head inside he's cut short by none other than Tim Anderson. Anderson is all smiles, and Jack returns a fabricated one as he sets his bag down to appease Tim with an impromptu interview.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, I am back stage with the Outlaw Jack Graves who appears to have just arrived for the night. Jack, I think I speak for everyone when I say that I'm super excited to see you and TJ Techniques square off in the ring. This is one that is a dream match for a lot of Liberty fans. How are you feeling about the match being added to the card at your request and how do you see things going?
Jack considers his answer for a moment, pulling a joint out of his front shirt pocket to light it up. He takes a few hits and shrugs at the interviewer.
Jack Graves: I didn't specifically ask for anyone. I said it was weird not being booked on a Liberty show for the first time in my career and Jade got er done. TJ is just a bonus. Listen, that feller is incredible in the ring. He's a technical high flier, which is going to be something I have to get used to. I'm accustomed to brawls and knock down drag outs with fellow hosses most of the time. I've been training with Chris Night and Robb Hardy though and I'm prepared for what he's bringing to the table. I'm sure of it. That being said, it's nothing against ol' TJ, but I see my hand being raised at the end of the night. I gotta keep this damn momentum going.
Jack raises the case, patting it to indicate why he needed the momentum in his favor. Tim nods and raises his mic to his lips again.
Tim Anderson: It has to be strange arriving tonight without Rayven. The two of you got used to being on the same show and now you're arriving solo tonight. Do you think that will play a part in the mental aspects of things for you tonight.
Jack shakes his head and laughs.
Jack Graves: Not at all. We aren't high school kids going away to college or some shit. We're adults, and we live together. I'll do my thing here, she'll do her things up in Canada, and we'll both go home to our own house and do some celebratin'
Jack wiggles his eyebrows at the word "Celebrating" and this gets a laugh out of Tim.
Jack Graves: She's got a title to defend, and I know she's going to do great. Me? I gotta focus on the task at hand and that is TJ Techniques.
Tim nods.
Tim Anderson: I think we're all interested in the emergence of Thatcher Ray Nash too and the... NashVillains was it?
Jack laughs and takes another few draws off his joint, causing Tim to cough at the pungent odor of the Marijuana. Meanwhile, Jack just gives him a nonchalant shrug and answers his question.
Jack Graves: Yeah, there's a lot more to come. I'm not going to ruin the surprise though, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on both Liberty and Revolver because we are taking over. The NEW South is going to rise. And it ain't no yee-yee rebel flag flyin' racist shit. It's that HASHTAG OUTLAW SHIT and Tim... if anyone gets in the way of our vision? Of our goals for the remainder of this year? Well..
Jack grinds out the joint roach under his boot and pats Anderson on the shoulder before picking up his bag and moving past him.
Jack Graves: It's going to be a reeeeal bad time for them. Anyways, I gotta bounce but it was cool catching up Timmy. You're welcome for that contact buzz too.
Putting his sunglasses on and throwing the duffel over his shoulder, Jack heads for the door leaving Tim to wrap his interview. Anderson looks into the camera and speaks once more before we fade to black.
Tim Anderson: There you have it, straight from the Outlaw himself. Make sure you are tuned in later tonight when he takes on Liberty super star TJ Techniques in their first 1 on 1 meeting! This is a match you definitely do NOT want to miss. I'm Tim Anderson signing off. Back to you Sasha and Sam!

IZM vs Brea Lombardi

Kendrick slams his open palm against a wall inside the Callaghan Warehouse and lets out a loud yell.
KENDRICK KROSS: I shouldn’t have lost that Battle Royal! That should’ve been mine!
Clearly still upset about the loss a few weeks ago he slams his palm up against the wall once more only this time harder.
KENDRICK KROSS: That Battle Royal. It was a bullshit loss. We all know I should’ve won that. That the win was mine before someone fucked it up.
Kendrick takes a deep breath then rolls his eyes as he shakes his hand out from the sting of his hand hitting the wall.
KENDRICK KROSS: But whatever. Tonight is a new night and I go up against a chick I’ve never even stepped foot in a ring with. Though she screwed up a match of mine a while back. That though we may get to later.
Kenzie I know you’re one time look over me. Hell people have done it since I’ve been here. Why do you think I haven’t gotten a shot at the Gotham or Liberty Championship? Because people could give two shits about Kendrick Kross. The company won’t admit it though. They can’t admit it. Well they probably could they look bad at times already but that ain’t my business to get into.
Kendrick smirks a bit after saying that.
KENDRICK KROSS: Kenzie tonight’s business is you. And tonight’s business is making sure you stay down and don’t get up. I’m not in the best of moods and you caught me at the wrong time little girl. Hope you brought your kleenexes because you’re gonna need em after I beat your ass tonight.
Signed yours truly…
Kendrick laughs a bit and walks off.

BACKSTAGE
We open on the face of Chase Romano. She looks like a changed woman. Her makeup is a little darker, looking like she may be trying some new things out. As we pan out, we realize her ring attire is also a little different. She’s showing off a little more skin, but in a destressed, ripped and torn sort of way. No telling if she was getting into a mood for her Anarchy title shot, or if she had begun to turn over a new leaf. She begins to tape her wrists, looking at herself in the mirror.
Wade: “...To whom this may concern, I believe my work environment has become hostile, and I can no longer work with an individual on my roster. I’m writing this today to request a contract transfer for myself or a contract transfer for this individual.”
At first, Chase is startled, and a second thought showed that she wasn’t surprised. Of course it was Wade, yet again, come to bug her before an important moment in her life. She turned to him with a look of disgust.
Wade: “Wade Manson has already advanced in the Gold Rush first round, while I have an Anarchy title shot. Therefore, it is my belief that Wade should remain with Deep South Pro Wrestling, and I should be allowed to remain with Liberty Pro Wrestling.”
Romano continued taping her wrists.
Chase Romano: Who gave you a copy of that anyway?
Wade Manson: Nobody gave me anything…you probably should’ve changed your passwords if you didn’t want me to see anything important.
Chase gasped, spinning back around.
Chase Romano: You what?! You’ve got to be kidding me! Wade, we are broken up! You need to let it go! I don’t know what you’re trying to do here or if you’re trying to get me back or something, but this is not the way to do that. Besides, we’re completely OVER!
Wade chuckles.
Wade Manson: Oh you think this is about getting you to be with me? Hardly. I made you. I brought you here. Then you want to turn around and drive a knife in MY back, turn your back on ME. I’M the one that brought you here! So when I said I was making it my mission to make sure you don’t make it anywhere in Liberty - I meant it!
Chase reached up in attempts to slap him across the face, but he caught her hand. Much to her dismay, of course. She put her hand back down.
Wade Manson: Really Chase? You’re going to try to hit me now? We know how well a match went between us, and I know you don’t want that again.
Her expression was crestfallen. Here she was on the cusp of one of the biggest nights of her career so far, and she was still arguing with her ex-boyfriend backstage. She had no clue how to proceed, how to get him off her back.
Chase Romano: Look, I was only suggesting it for your betterment. I may have been in the crowd at Deep South, but you looked in your element. Without me to distract you, I think you’d succeed, maybe even become Deep South Champion. Meanwhile I think it’s for my betterment to stay here. I’ve already got the Anarchy title shot tonight, and who knows, maybe I’ll win. Maybe I’ll carry the Anarchy Championship here in Liberty. I can make my home here, and you can make yours in Deep South.
She tried to be as sincere as possible, but he just wasn’t buying it.
Wade Manson: Yeah right, I see right through you. You just wanna stay here with your little galpals. Ant, and Ashley and AMC. The same galpals you sat around laughing at me with, talking about me on social media. No, that’s not gonna work Chase. There’s no way in hell you’d beat Nina tonight without my help, and I’m going to LOVE watching you fail!
Wade chuckles again, before sauntering off. Chase looked back into the mirror, her expression something completely different. She had morphed back into the same girl that found herself with Wade in the first place, and she was beginning to see how she ended up there. Still, she’d need to yank herself up by her bootstraps in order to face Nina tonight.

MATCH THREE: CROSS BRAND MATCH
Kenzie Rydell vs Kendrick Kross
Kenzie Rydell vs Kendrick Kross
RECAP - Kenzie had turned over a new leaf and was looking to score big here. She took it to Kendrick in the beginning and even looked to end it quick with her Photon Kick but Kross had it scouted. - Kross then gained control of the next portion of the match, keeping Kenzie down with a plethora of leg submissions so that the Luminary couldn’t have a chance to use those deadly legs of hers. - Kross tried to end it with his Coup de Gras but Rydell rolled out of the way. Kenzie then took him out with "Blinding Arrow" — running corner front dropkick! She then went to set up for the Photon Kick but out came Ricky Rodriguez and Marisol! They distracted Kenzie! - This put the referees eyes on Ricky and Marisol slid in a chair for Kross. Kendrick grabbed it and leveled Kenzie! He pinned her for the three count and it looks like Ricky and Marisol got one more over on Rydell! WINNER Kendrick Kross METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 10:12 FINISHING MOVE Chairshot |

In a quiet little back area we find Emery Layton and Brianna Leigh Clark chatting as they get ready for their upcoming tag team match against Life of the Party. Wearing of course the matching gear that Brianna had commissioned for the pair of them in the hopes and anticipation of them becoming a tag team in the future - a future that was now! Bri finished putting her hair up in those space buns she favors before grinning at Emery, giving a quick tip of her head towards the waiting cameraman before she turns on the bench she’s sitting on to face it. Glancing at Em, then back before she speaks.
Brianna Clark: So life’s about chances and changes really. Everywhere you look are a ton of people who have dreams and goals, just like you. Big and small.
Brianna Clark: For a long time, my goals and my dreams centered around one thing - getting that Gotham Championship away from the conquering king that held it. Occupied Territory, was not a good place for Liberty, was it? Not that things on that front are settled, but… well. Either way, I wish Markus good luck. He earned his way up to me so many times, and in the end made his goal. I know that feeling better than most and I don’t begrudge him.
Brianna Clark: Time will come for me to be a champion again, that’s just how it is. I’m a woman of substance that understands cause and effect and consequences too. That sounds a lot deeper than it is, trust me… but that aside.
Brianna Clark: It would be so easy to brush Emery Layton and Brianna Leigh Clark aside now, as we’re no longer carrying the gold we had. I mean, that would be a mistake, but one that I feel party pack is about to make.
Emery Layton: “Party Pack”?
Brianna Clark: Well you know… Life of the Party.
Emery Layton: I like yours better.
Brianna Clark: And there’s nothing wrong with a good party, especially a birthday type party, but look. Cassie Mason and Malaya Diosa are new to Liberty, welcome by the way.
Emery Layton: Wild ride ahead though, just so you know.
Brianna Clark: We’re sure that they’re chomping at the bit, wanting to get their party started like that Pink song from forever ago, but considering my partner here is the strongest supporter of Kate Bush and always was even before Stranger Things…
Emery Layton: Mhm. The Katekeeper.
Brianna Clark: …nothing wrong with the classics. Here’s the thing, ladies. We’re just stepping into the tag division coming off singles championship reigns, the both of us.
Emery Layton: And y’know, they were top reigns. But like Bri said, it’s all about change. I’ve done tag teams before, I’m a two-time Tag Team Champion, but that was a whoooole other lifetime ago. Stuff’s different now, today - my birthday, by the way - I’m not in the same place I was in the last time. Cos this time I’m the veteran, and I’m teaming with someone young and hungry who’s made a big impact on the world of wrestling. I’m coming off big wins over Ana Hayden, Myojin, Tamsin and nine straight defenses of the Noir Championship, I got a brand new confidence and lease on life, and now I walk the halls of Liberty Pro with a world champion waiting to happen. I got the experience, she got the desire. I got the speed, she got the power. The team all the hosses wanna be, and your Da tunes in to see, right here.
Brianna Clark: So sure, you’re going to want to make a big splash, a craterlike impact on the tag division and that’s admirable, but you know…
Emery Layton: So do we.
The pair move and stand side by side, Brianna leaning to put her chin on Em’s shoulder before they grin at the camera.

BACKSTAGE
AMC and Ashley Sands are backstage in their locker room. Both look to be in their normal ring gear already but with one differences, the pink t-shirts with #JusticeForAnt lettering in white. Behind the pair of Ashes, Peanut has a pair of dark sunglasses covering his mechanical eyes as his stands guard between the set of FGA World Tag Team title belts.
Ashley Sands: Well Battle Symphony 2 has come and gone and well I’ll be damned if we didn’t do exactly what we said we would do. We EARNED our shot at the Liberty tag belts and you had better believe we intend to collect on that shot Society. We didn’t have to resort to any kind of shady crap against the Socialites before they took their bags over to Empire. So you can start looking over your shoulder Society because it’s only a matter of time before we take advantage of the shot that is so rightfully ours.
Ashley motions down at her chest with a hand as she looks down.
Ashley Sands: It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows that weekend though. Our sister from another mister was robbed. But have no fear because we’re already working on helping Ant getting what’s rightfully hers back. The wheels of justice are already in motion as the Ant Legal Defense Fund is working on a legal route of getting Ant a rematch for her Liberty title. All proceeds from the sales of this t-shirt will go towards this charity.
AMC: That is not all either. If you would like to contribute to this fund either call 1-800-justice or visit the website www.Justice4Ant.org to donate. The first 10 that donate at least $100 will get a bottle of Antoinette bathwater and exclusive pics from her upcoming honeymoon so donate today!!!
With a look back behind them over their shoulder, Ashley and AMC reach over to their FGA tag titles and hold them over their shoulders.
Ashley Sands: That was Battle Symphony, but tonight is Liberation and let us be the welcoming party for a pair to come over from Freedom… or Empire now. Anyway,Marisol Vilaro and Ricky Rodriguez let us welcome you to the A-show that is Liberation. You call yourselves The Inspired, well we sure hope you guys live up to your name. God knows Liberty’s tag team division needed a breath of fresh air before we came here. Now that most of the bad is gone and you’re here, hopefully it’s getting the facelift it’s needed. We’ll just have to see if you bring us your A-game on the A-show because you better believe you’ll be getting ours. We didn’t get to this point by phoning it in on a show and we don’t intend to start now. As far as we’re concerned, those days of Liberty’s tag division are dead and gone. Out with the old and in with the new.
AMC pats her title and smirks
AMC: As Sully said we are the A team on the A show. Hell we are so important and valuable here that we did not have to be drafted as we were protected. In other words A2A are the real number one draft pick for Liberation. Now tonight we show the two newbies why we are the measuring stick in tag team wrestling and why pretty soon I will be Ashley 2 Belts.
Ashley gives her a look.
AMC: err I mean we will be Ashley 2 belts so Marisol and Ricky get ready for an ass whooping! Oh and as Sully said welcome to the A show!
Ashley: Two Ashes with two belts. What would that be if you make it into math? Not squared because that's just us two now. Cubed isn’t it. Dammit what’s it called to the fourth power? I swear I got my degree in accounting. I should know this much math! Whatever. It doesn’t matter. What DOES matter is that The Inspired are about to be in the ring with the hottest tag team on Liberation. You’re welcome.
With a bumping of their forearms, the Ashes walk off camera to leave their locker room for their upcoming match.

Life of the Party vs BLC & Emery Layton
Life of the Party vs BLC & Emery Layton
RECAP - Life of the Party was an experienced team, one that showed how great they were when they competed in the WarGames match for Lily Callaghan, a decision a lot of the roster did not appreciate. BLC & Emery though? Some might consider these two coming together as a super team. - This one started off with a bang, with Cassie and Emery trading different throws and holds. It was a technical classic between the two. Things took a turn though when Cassie hit Emery with a headbutt and then a snap DDT. - The next portion of the match was controlled by Cassie and Malaya, as the two tagged each other in and took turns on keeping the former Noir Champion down. - But Emery soon took Malaya down with a spinning heel kick and things took a turn when Emery tagged in BLC, who was absolutely on FIRE! She clotheslines Malaya. Cassie tried to come in and help but Brianna took her out with a big boot! The fans were going nuts! Malaya recovered but BLC took her out with Punch Into Row Z! She pinned and Emery stopped Cassie as the count hit three. - A disappointing loss for Life of the Party, and the two knew that they needed to regroup a bit here. BLC and Emery celebrated their debut victory. WINNER BLC & Emery Layton METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 11:54 FINISHING MOVE Punch Into Row Z |

Nina: Well, at least I get to defend my title, so there’s that.
The Anarchy champion was caught chatting on the phone backstage, and by the look and the smile on her face, she was talking with someone she held dear.
Nina: I mean, it’s still pretty random but not as much as being thrown in a battle royale, right?
Despite the words coming out from her mouth, the eye roll was a dead giveaway that the recent booking left her quite perplexed.
Nina: I know, I promised…I’m not… What the fuck? I’m not bitching… What do you mean I’m live on TV?
Made aware of the presence of the camera by her caller, she finally turned to the cameraman and mouthed the words “I’ll kill you” to them. Which was enough of a threat for them to take a step back, even though they didn’t stop filming the (not so) private conversation.
Nina: I actually like Jade, she is a level-headed boss… Something else is bugging me and you know what…
The person on the other side of the phone said something inaudible, causing Nina to stop.
Nina: I’m sorry but I can’t…
She let out a long sigh.
Nina: It would work better if you were here… I know, I’m just saying… I have so many things going through my mind, it’s hard to focus on the match. And you have a knack for keeping me straight.
Whatever was said by the other person caused Nina to burst out laughing.
Nina: Shut up, you know what I mean!
It took her a moment but eventually she regained her composure.
Nina: Yeah… I’ll see you tomorrow. Don’t worry, I’ll bring home the Anarchy championship as well.
With a big smile on her face, she closed the conversation and leaned back against the wall. She didn’t follow up on her threat to the cameraman, whoever she was talking to somehow calmed her down. Still, they weren’t taking any chances and, just in case she changed her mind, the cameraman left the scene.

MATCH FIVE: ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP
Nina vs Chase Romano
Nina vs Chase Romano
RECAP - Chase has improved as each week goes by but a harcore match? This is something that she has never experienced in her entire career. Nina was relentless at the beginning, showing no mercy to the much kind spirited Romano. As Chase was taking a beating by a kendo stick, Wade was ringside laughing at it. - This actually fueled Chase’s fire and she came back swinging on Nina. She soon found a trash can lid and slammed it on Nina’s head before going for a pin but Nina kicked out right before the three. - Chase then went for her Intermission [Dragon Sleeper], locking it in tightly. She almost had it won but Nina countered out of it, being a submission expert herself. Romano went for a running knee to counter but Nina dodged it. - Chase then turned right into a Snakebite (Axe Kick)! Nina dropped down and pinned her and got the three count and the win. Wade soon entered the ring and pointed down at Chase, telling her that she is nothing without him. Nina? She wasn’t having it. She hit Wade with a Snakebite from out of nowhere! She then helped Chase up and gave her a quick nod before exiting. WINNER Nina METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 6:45 FINISHING MOVE Snakebite |

Cameras cut to the ringside area where The Inspired stood in the middle of the ring, surrounded by a group of normal looking individuals. Those men and women were a select few, vying for the honor and privilege of being a part of The Inspired. As seen on the last Liberation when they were washing Marisol's car.
Marisol Vilaro stood center stage as Ricky Rodriguez and Big Ass Bobby stood behind her, on either side of her. Each one with a microphone in hand, Marisol was the first to speak up, once the boos from the crowd quieted down.
Marisol Vilaro: 'Well, the draft has come and gone and the landscape has changed completely..almost completely. What hasn't changed is our mission here on Liberation. We're here to inspire..and motivate each and every last one of you to be a better you.
Yet..we're vilified. Talked down to. Unappreciated. But that's okay..that won't turn us away..it won't slow us down..it won't..stop..us. We're continuing this fight whether anyone here likes it or not.'
Marisol looked to Ricky who smirked in response, nodding his head. She motioned to him, it being Ricky's turn to speak.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'I really don't get it. All we've done was just tryta inspire y'all to be better but all we get back is mockery. And I mean, doesn't matter if it's here..Empire..or Revolver..or even HRW. Y'all need the inspiration. Look at me..'
Ricky took the moment to pose a bit, showing off that toned figure of his.
Ricky Rodriguez: I look like this..cause of the Vilaro System. I work in three..three..'
He held up three fingers for emphasis.
Ricky Rodriguez: 'Separate promotions and I make it look fuckin easy..cause of the Vilaro System. Y'all? Y'all strugglin to barely keep afloat just here. It's fuckin sad to see, really. All that wasted potential just cause you wanna fit in with the fuckin losers that constantly down us.'
Marisol Vilaro: 'You're exactly right, Ricky. But that's going to change..and the change starts tonight. It starts with AMC and Ashley Sands. Two people who are in desperate need for some inspiration. Now, let's go get ready.'
Marisol looked to Big Ass Bobby, nodding her head a single time.
Big Ass Bobby: 'Ahem.'
Not needing to hear another sound, those people surrounding the ring scurried to run to the ramp. One by one, they all got down onto their hands and knees, leading up the ramp and to the back.
Ricky walked to the ropes, holding them open as Marisol made her way over, ducking between them. Ricky and Bobby followed as Marisol stepped up onto the back of the first hopeful. She began walking across their struggling bodies, using them as a pathway before disappearing to the back. Ricky and Bobby hung back a bit, making sure they served their purpose. Once they did, the duo rushed them to the back, presumably for their next humilating test.

Marisol Vilaro & Ricky Rodriguez vs AMC & Ashley Sands
RECAP - This match was huge. In one corner we had The Inspired and in the other? The number on contenders. Ricky did everything he could in the beginning to try and pick up the win, doing every shady little thing but AMC and Ashley were hard to keep down. - Marisol would soon come into the fray and AMC had her scouted at every move. The tide turned when Vilaro hit AMC with a rake to the eyes, followed by a swinging neckbreaker. - Big Ass Bobby was also ringside and he kept on distracting the referee to give his friends the advantage. - But this was no more as Kenzie Rydell came from out of nowhere and took out Bobby with her Photon Kick! Ricky and Marisol were distracted and Ashley took Ricky down off of the apron and sent him to the outside. - AMC then hit Marisol with "Walk of Fame" - A running spear that Ashley can hit out of nowhere at anytime, before Ashley nailed Sunset (Swanton Bomb)! Heading backstage, we find Melissa Reeves alongside her sister, Alex. Melissa is first to speak.
"So what do you think?"
Alex scoffs.
"About your opponent? Not much. Does anyone?"
The younger Reeves shrugs.
"He's gotten in your way too much lately, it's time to put him down a peg. You're better than facing the likes of him."
Melissa sighs.
"I don't know, things haven't been going fantastically well lately."
Alex places a hand on each of her sister's shoulders.
"Yeah, maybe not, but that's a temporary thing. Someone as talented as you are will always bounce back. The unrelenting crunch, the sheer force of will. And if that doesn't work then…get creative."
That piques Mel's attention.
"I'm not going to lose my values, not again. I did that before, lost myself a bit."
Alex shakes her head.
"It's not gotta be all that dramatic. You just need to remember that people here, people like your opponent, they'll bend the rules when they can. It's only fair to fight in an even battlefield."
Melissa smiles, briefly.
"I suppose you're right. Either way, I need to remind everyone who I am. I need to show myself I'm still here to be a top star, live up to that first round pick billing."
"And you will."
The smile returns.
"Thanks, Alex."
The sisters embrace for a moment, before heading toward the gorilla position.

RECAP - This match was a competitive one. Melissa used her experience and speed to stay ahead of Atticus for the large portion of the match, frustrating the big man at times. Atticus had a few near falls though, especially after a huge powerbomb halfway through the match. - The tide turned for the worst when Melissa came off of the ropes and Cassian popped her up in the air, looking for something big… But Reeves countered and hit a FACIAL DECONSTRUCTION OUTTA NOWHERE! - Mel took only a moment to gather herself but before she could get the pin, Sunday K. Love entered the ring with a chair and she slammed it onto Melissa’s back! DING DING DING!!! - The bell rang and Melissa was announced the winner via DQ. Liberation continues as we transition backstage. Standing in front of us right now is none other than the former Freedom Champion, TJ Techniques. TJ is all smiles. It's a much different demeanor than the one that he had at Battle Symphony. With Lily Callahan gone, the weight of the world is off his shoulders.
TJ Techniques: Freedom. Sweet, sweet, Freedom. That's what I feel like right now. Freedom from the politics. Freedom from a General Manager that don't know what the hell they even doin'. Freedom from all the BS. You know, Battle Symphony was somethin' else. It was a long time comin'. The end result of that War Games match was a long time comin' for Blyss Lockhart and especially you, Lily. Your current unemployed status? The pain that you're still in to this very day? You brought it upon yourself. You did this to yourself. You were a woman that stumbled her way into a GM spot that she was way under-qualified for. You were gifted a roster with generational talent that you could've made money hand over fist with. You had a roster that, with competent leadership, could've proven itself to have the best show in all of wrestlin' for 2022. Key words bein' competent leadership. Your ass was a lot of things, Lily, but it damn sure wasn't competent. You were petty. You were vindictive. You let your ego get the better of you. You let your ego think that you were above reproach. You actually thought you were untouchable. Myself, Sparrow and the rest of Team Jade proved that wrong inside War Games when you got that ass whooped. I don't know where you are right now. I personally don't care where you are right now. But whatever hole you're hidin' in, I just want you to know that myself, Sparrow, Emery and the rest are gonna be out here thrivin' despite your best efforts. Now cry.
TJ flashes a smirk.
TJ Techniques: It's funny... I started this thing off by sayin' I felt like I had Freedom. Yet in a strange twist of events, Freedom... is no more. I heard someone say that Sparrow was the heart & soul of Freedom. Sparrow is a lot of things. A great athlete. Great cook. A great man. But heart & soul? No disrespect to Sparrow 'cause that's my guy. But you are lookin' at the heart & soul of Freedom. You are lookin' at the man that carried that brand on his back. So to see it go by the wayside... I feel some type of way. I won't cap. It's also gon' feel weird not sharin' a locker room with my man Sparrow anymore. That was my guy. That's my man, 50 grand. The relationship that me and this man have, it goes beyond wrestlin'. It goes beyond just a locker room. That man ain't just my peer. That's my dog right there. There's a very short list of people in this business that I trust and he's right at the top. So to know that he and I are goin' out separate paths... yeah...
TJ looks off to the side. A look of sadness forms on is face. But he doesn't let his emotions fully takeover. He's quick to pull it back together and return his gaze to the camera.
TJ Techniques: But I wish him the best, I really do. I also feel some type of way about never truly gettin' that closure with Bum Ass Blyss Lockhart. I mean you, I put the hurt on you inside War Games. Yeah, our team won. But I never got that one on one with you. I never got the opportunity to run that fade and get back MY Freedom Championship. Consider yourself lucky. Consider yourself fortunate that your ass got drafted up to Canada because believe you me, I was gon' get back 'ol Glory. And I was gon' get it back in blood. But it's all good though. The clock is tickin' on your time as champion, regardless. Your lil reign of terror is just about up. If I wasn't gon' become two-time champ, then Sparrow damn sure will be. You can bet on that.

TJ Techniques: It's all good, though. It's all good. While Sparrow and the rest go on this new path with Empire, yours truly is stayin' right here in Liberty and is now apart of Liberation. I look to the draft and see that I'm sharin' a roster with the homie Bri Leigh Clark again. Sup Bree? I see I'm also on the same roster as Emery Layton again. Another homegirl of mine, Antoinette, is in the house. Then there's also the man that I'm gon' be standin' across the ring from tonight, Jack Graves.
TJ shakes his head.
TJ Techniques: You know, Jack, you really brought this one on yourself. You and me, we had the night off. All you had to do was kick back, relax and enjoy the show. But you? No, you wanted to talk about how it was weird or whatever how you weren't gon' be on the show. So what happened? The powers that be said "bet" and threw you in the ring with The Funky Technician. So, to put it bluntly, you just talked your way into this L. Damn, I hate that it had to be you.
TJ gives another shake of the head.
TJ Techniques: It's all good, though. It's all good. There's nothin' but respect here on my end and I know theres nothin' but respect on yours. I appreciate you and your get down. You get it out the mud. You're rough around the edges. You don't tow the line. You do things your way. It ain't the most graceful. It ain't the most polished. But you get the job done. To put it another way, you got that dog in you. I like that! You're a fighter, Jack. But so am I. Don't let the flashy moves fool you. I can scrap, too. I can get down and dirty, too. So when we go out there tonight and we give the people the show of all shows, we gon' leave it all out there in that ring. Now we we can kick it after the show, throw back a couple of drinks... on your tab, don' think I forgot...
TJ points to the camera and winks.
TJ Techniques: We can do all that good stuff. But right here? While the tapes are rollin', we gon' throw down. It's all respect over here. But on this first Liberation post-draft show? I gotta put you down for the count. See, this is a new chapter for yours truly. It's a new era and tonight, I plan on showin' up, showin' out and showin' & provin' that TJ Techniques, The Funky Technician, The Meanin' of Dope, Kool G. Grap... is the man 'round these parts.
Now peep that...

Antoinette vs Seth Lawless
RECAP - Antoinette versus Seth Lawless one more time. Ant clearly came into this one with something to prove. There was no AMC & Ashley ringside, nor were there any Society. But things almost took a turn for the worst when Seth hit AMC with Detroit Is Burning (Pop up Powerbomb) from out of nowhere! Seth was furious and he started to stomp and punch Antoinette, telling her to stay down like the dog she is. - He then picked her up and whipped her to the ropes, going for a second Detroit is Burning but Antoinette hit a missile dropkick and then a running bulldog! She then scaled the top ropes and BOOM! Ant-Nation Sensation: Split-Legged Moonsault!!! She pinned and got the three count and the win! VINDICATION! Tim Anderson: Jade! Can I get a word?
Jade nodded.
Jade Night: Of course.
Tim Anderson: How does it feel to have full control here with nobody holding you back like previously?
Jade smirked and nodded.
Jade Night: It feels good. But hey, Nathan has a big announcement in a bit, right? We’ll see if I keep on having that full control.
Tim nodded.
Tim Anderson: So you don’t know what any of that is about?
Jade shook her head.
Jade Night: I don’t. I’m as interested to hear it as the rest of you.
Tim Anderson: Thank you for your time.

RINGSIDE
“Bad Company” by Five Finger Death Punch blared over the PA system to… Cheers from the fans? After the brutal attack Nathan Callaghan suffered at the hands of Society, the fans seem to be showing sympathy. Walking out from the big with a mic in hand is Nathan Callaghan. Followed are his two wives, Coral & Nami, known as the Girls of Summer, and with them is their young son, KC. This looks to be a family affair. As they stand there, they are suddenly swarmed by masked SABER security. Clearly, Callaghan isn’t taking any chances. They make their way to the ring and get inside. The fans continue to cheer and when they die down, Nathan speaks.
Nathan Callaghan: Goddamn, and here I thought you all hated me.
Nathan smirked as the fans gave him a cheap pop.
Nathan Callaghan: So, I know I had an announcement to make and now here we are. You know, it was five years and some change ago that I started on this adventure as the General Manager of Empire Pro in the CWC. Now, we’ve come full circle, and EPW is now a part of my creation, Liberty Pro.
The fans cheer, as they are excited about the return of EPW.
Nathan Callaghan: It would be nice to be a part of all of this… All of these new changes. But the thing is… I’m an old man.
The crowd goes silent as Nathan starts to get serious.
Nathan Callaghan: I’ve got my lovely wives and most importantly, my son, KC, who need me.
Nathan uses his free hand to run his hand through KC’s hair, causing it to be all messy.
Nathan Callaghan: These five years have been up and down. I’ve had physical battles, legal battles, old demons coming back to haunt me.
Nathan looks at the camera and points directly into it.
Nathan Callaghan: Fuck you, Lily.
The crowd cheers as Nate smirks.
Nathan Callaghan: So, with all of that being said, I just want to thank all of you. Thank you for sticking with me. I know I wasn’t the best and I damn sure was never perfect… But I wanted to make this place special for all of you. The thing is though? I let my own ego get in the way of that here at the end. So because of that? Because of my failures with all of you? And because my family needs me and doesn’t need another scare like a couple of months ago?
Nathan pauses and looks down, shaking his head. Coral and Nami both grab his arm, reassuring him that he is making the right choice. He finally gathers himself and nods.
Nathan Callaghan: I am officially retired. Liberty Pro? It’s no longer mine.
Nathan turns toward the camera again, emotions in his eyes.
Nathan Callaghan: Brendan…, my dear son. Despite everything I’ve done, despite everything that your mother has done, you’ve stayed loyal. You’re a kind hearted bastard and I’m glad you go by your middle name instead of the first one that you share with me. Because that’s all that we share. Your kindness and compassion and love for your family is unmatched. Which is why this company is now yours.
Nami tugs at Nathan’s shirt.
Nathan Callaghan: Yours and Jade’s. There. I said it.
He rolls his eyes before laughing.
Nathan Callaghan: I trust that you two will do well working with Chuck, Cybil and Noah Jackson. There’s a lot of responsibility here and shit, I’m glad it’s not mine anymore. I’m going to hit the beach, drink a few beers and bang my two hot wives. And I guess raise your little brother, too.
He chuckles.
Nathan Callaghan: Retirement sure as hell will be fun.
With that being said, “Bad Company” blared over the PA system, for quite possibly the last time, as Nathan made his exit from the ring with the entire Callaghan Warehouse crowd chanting his name. A touching moment for the creator of Liberty Pro Wrestling.

Tyson Gregory vs Chris Sanderson
Tyson Gregory vs Chris Sanderson
RECAP - This match was competitive but something seemed off with Chris Sanderson at the start, as if something was on his mind. This gave Tyson the chance to dominate the early going. But eventually? Chris found his footing and he took it to the decorated veteran. - Halfway through, Chris hit Hit by a Cyclone - Fireman’s Carry into a Pele Kick on Tyson and pinned but Gregory kicked out after two. Tyson tried to come back later on the match and he whipped Chris to the ropes but Sanderson came back with From Nowhere (Rebound Handspring Cutter). He went for another pin but another kickout. - The rest of the match had these two trading pinfalls and it was obviously becoming a classic of a match, as neither man wanted to give in. The tide turned into Ty’s favor when he caught an incoming Sanderson and dropped him with The Burnout (Deluxe Spin Out Side Slam)! - Tyson didn’t let up though, and he hit Chris with The End of Your Sorrow (Lifting Single Underhook DDT). Ty pinned but NOOOOO! Chris kicked out right before three! Tyson couldn’t believe it. He then hit a second End of Your Sorrow but he decided not to pin, no, Tyson hit a third, to truly make sure Sanderson stayed down. Ty pinned and the referee made the count and it was a three. - Tyson was announced the winner and he left. Chris eventually got up onto his knees and he stayed there in the middle of the ring, emotions all over his eyes. He soon asked for a mic and then he let the crowd know that for now, he was going on a break. As much as he enjoyed finding himself again, he knew that he needed to focus on his family and just being a dad. The crowd let him know how much they appreciated him with cheers before he made his exit. WINNER Tyson Gregory METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 14:12 FINISHING MOVE The End of Your Sorrow |

MAIN EVENT: CHAMPION VS CHAMPION
Warren Corbett vs Markus FK
Warren Corbett vs Markus FK
RECAP When the bell sounds, Warren wastes no time as he gives Markus clubbing forearms in the back of the head before taking Markus down with a snap DDT. Warren pins Markus but the hoss of a Gotham Champion kicks out after one. Warren picks Markus up and goes to whip him into the corner but FK’s power is too much as he counters and tosses Warren into the corner before charging in and spearing him. Markus then grabs Warren from behind and nails him with a tossing German suplex. Markus pins Corbett but Warren manages to kick out just before the two count. Warren looks like a man on a mission, meanwhile, Markus seems a bit surprised at the energy that Corbett has but he doesn’t let it phase him. Warren gets to a knee and Markus hits him with a forearm, Warren gets back up, and nails Markus with a thunderous headbutt. The smack is sickening as Markus tumbles outside of the ring. Warren follows and he picks Markus up and he whips Markus into the post face first. Markus crumbles to the ground before Warren picks him up and he lifts him up before Warren hits a spinebuster on Markus on top of the steel steps on the outside. Corbett picks Markus up and rolls him into the ring before covering him. The referee counts to two but Markus kicks out just before the three count as he gets his shoulder up. Warren gets up and looks frustrated before Markus sits up quickly and he looks over at Warren and laughs but Warren doesn’t let it bother him as he laughs back before charging Markus and taking him out with a running spear! Corbett picks Markus up and he tosses Markus into the corner and then climbs the turnbuckle and Warren starts to punch him in the face as the fans count along, but suddenly Markus slides his arms under Corbett’s legs and he pulls him out of the corner in the air. Markus runs with Corbett up in his hands and he drops the big man with a running powerbomb pin, showing off his strength. The referee makes the count but Corbett manages to get his shoulder up before the three count. Markus looks impressed that Warren kicked out of such a devastating move.. Markus stomps at Warren a few times, telling him to stay down. He goes to pick Corbett up but Warren throws a few elbow shots into Markus’s gut before he charges and tackles Markus to the outside and they go battling around the ringside area, and Warren begins to hit Markus with everything he has. Corbett throws Markus into the post and then starts to dismantle the table. Warren puts Markus on it and picks him up, he’s looking to go for the Battle Ax but Markus headbutts Corbett. Warren is dazed and Markus picks him up and hits him with Go FK Yourself (Powerbomb) through the table. Markus drags Warren from the carnage, not letting him be counted out. He slides Corbett into the ring and then gets in himself before pinning Corbett. The referee counts to two and just before the three count, Corbett somehow gets his shoulder up and the fans are going nuts, they can’t believe it. Markus holds up three fingers to the referee, telling him it was a three count but the referee shakes his head. Markus waves the referee off before picking Corbett up and going for a second Go FK Yourself but Warren slips out of it. Markus turns around and Warren catches him with The Battle Ax (Spinning high impact spinebuster). But Warren doesn’t pin Markus, he picks him up again before dropping him with a second Battle Ax. He knows that he has to put everything out there to finish off Markus, so Warren picks him up and drops him with the WarHammer (burning hammer) before pinning him. The referee makes the count and right after the three count, Markus gets a shoulder up. Warren picks up the huge win! As one is handed over, she looks over at her fiance before over to Warren and Seth before getting into the ring as the fans start cheering for the former champion. ANTOINETTE: “Well…you’ve waited long enough for what I have to say, haven’t you? I’ve taken some time to really think about the aftermath of Battle Symphony 2. I’ve congratulated you like a good, honorable athlete does…but I’m not sure you know much of what being a good..honorable..athlete is..” The fans erupt in “Ooooo’s!” as Antoinette spits out fiercely before pacing back and forth in the ring. ANTOINETTE: “You took away my opportunity to continue fighting for everything I believe in a matter of minutes. You took advantage of the work that I did for yourself! Everyone in that arena saw what happened! You are nothing more than an opportunist in the worst way possible…but you know what…I’m not concerned.” Antoinette says, licking her lips as she shakes her head before looking directly into the new champion’s eyes. ANTOINETTE: “I’m not concerned because you’ve set yourself up for a world of hurt coming soon. I’m getting my rematch and I entirely plan on making it worth my while. You see Warren, you took something away from me that meant more to me than just wearing a championship belt around my waist. You took away from me everything I worked my entire life for. Something nobody ever expected I could achieve, and something that was a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. Those dreams were shattered because of a greedy…opportunist who is nothing more than a villain. You’ve done nothing but cause harm and damage but walk around here like you’re this saving patron saint of Liberty! You strongarm and push your way around and you expect people to just fold and do what you want because of it! You and your little gang of misfits have done nothing but be a headache in people’s way.” She shouts, before lowering her mic a bit, catching her breath as she speaks out again. ANTOINETTE: “Your actions in our match won’t be forgotten and I will not let you get away with it. It was my match to win, I had it on lock, and you won’t be seeing the last of me! I’m getting my championship back! You are officially on notice…pal.” Warren backs up the ramp a little more with Seth, motioning for a microphone. You’d expect the look on his face to be one of anger and rage. Instead, he has a sly expression written. Warren Corbett: “I knew you just couldn’t stay down, Ant. I knew you just wouldn’t leave well enough alone! You don’t want to give us our due credit, that’s fine. You want your rematch, that’s fine too. But I have a little something you’d like to see before you mention the word REMATCH ever again!” Ant gives him an arched brow, confused. Hell, everyone is confused. However, both Warren and Seth hold grins as they point up to the tron, where footage begins to roll… James Sands woke up Sunday morning the way he always did, a nice cup of black coffee and his Sunday paper. He’d lived his life on the road, in the ring, and now entering his 60’s, these days he enjoyed a much slower pace. His wife, Claudia, had joined him for some breakfast before she left for her weekly grocery trip the way she always did, and kissed him goodbye. Yes, today was ordinary, a day like any other. That is, until James thought he heard a noise coming from the kitchen. To be exact, he thought he may have heard the refrigerator door open. James Sands looked up from his newspaper, setting it down in front of him. Although a thought existed in the back of his mind that this was rather strange, the majority of his thoughts persisted that it was nothing out of the ordinary. James Sands: “Claudia?...you back from the grocery store already?” He got up from his chair in the living room, beginning his saunter over to the kitchen. As he did, the thought in the back of his mind grew louder. He hadn’t even heard her car pull into the driveway, and wouldn’t she have asked for help with the bags? All this and more began to take over, when he turned the corner, and came face-to-face with reality. Seth Lawless: “What gives, no OJ?” Seth Lawless stood there in all his baldness, holding the fridge wide open and looking in as if he lived here with the Sands. He rummaged through the items without a care in the world, but alas, it was Sunday and Claudia was out for groceries. This, apparently, didn’t please him. Of course, Seth was naturally troll-like with his dialogue, which was a sharp contrast to the instant guard that James Sands took in seeing this intruder. James Sands: “Wha-what the hell?” He put his fists up, going into flight or fight mode. Naturally James was a former wrestler, and he knew how to fight, so the fists coming up was just second nature. He attempted to back up through the doorway, trying to get into a more open space. Unfortunately, Seth was not the only person that had entered the house, for James backed up right into the current Liberty Champion, Warren Corbett. The championship itself was nowhere in sight. Warren Corbett: “Hello, Mr. Sands.” James tried to spin around as fast as he could, hoping for a spinning back elbow into the side of Warren’s head. Unfortunately, he hadn’t wrestled in years, and his reflexes weren’t as they used to be. The much larger and stronger Corbett reached under his arm and punched him right in the kidneys. The pain engulfed his body. Still, he spun around, landing the fist to Warren’s face, albeit weaker than he recalled his impact being in the past. In response, Seth clubbed him in the back with an axe handle, followed by a punch to his gut that caused his to double over. Now more than ever James understood that he was simply not as he used to be, and he hated it. Warren grabbed him by the back of the neck, pushing his face against the cold stoned counter. Warren Corbett: “That was a nice little punch there, Mr. Sands. I see where Ant must get her ferocity from now…” James Sands: “YOU–” James tries to yell out, pushing back against Warren’s grip and trying to fight back again. He drives his forearm into Warren’s side, but Corbett smashes his face against the stone countertop! The impact echoes through the nearby sink, and cause a trickle of blood to come from the top of James’ forehead. There’s still fight in him, no doubt, but he stops pushing back for the time being. Warren Corbett: “Damn you, Mr. Sands! I didn’t come here to cause you to bleed all over your nice home here, I came with a simple message that I expect you to deliver.” The sounds of ice coming from the refrigerator suddenly made Warren turn, only to see Seth there filling up a cup of ice. Corbett shot him a menacing look. Seth Lawless: “What?? It’s hot!” Seth popped some ice into his mouth as the duo turned back to Ant’s father. Warren Corbett: “I know Ant may not tote being a Sands, and I’m sure she’d like more than anything to think that she’s built her whole career herself, but we both know that’s not entirely true, is it? I’m sure Daddy HAD to have given her some pointers, shown her the correct way of the business, been her ear to turn to when she’s in trouble. Well guess what Daddy Sands, she’s in BIG trouble now. Because we’ve got the Liberty Championship, and I don’t think she deserves that rematch that she’s already been promised. You see the trouble now, don’t you? I can’t just let her cash in this rematch on me, Mr. Sands. I REFUSE to come anywhere close to losing the Liberty Championship!” In his anger, Warren’s grip around the back of James’ neck had begun to tighten, causing James more and more pain. Thus, Sands needed another attempt, trying once again to free himself from the grip. It caught Warren off guard, James swatting Warren away at his forearms and trying to push past him. But Warren’s size was too much, he did manage to make his way out of the kitchen archway, but only to have Warren grab him by the arm. Corbett twisted, before running Sands into the nearby wall, shoulder first. James crumbled to sit on the wooden floor, clutching his shoulder in pain, the trickle of blood from before now hitting his shirt. Warren Corbett: “Listen Mr. Sands, it’s like I told you. I didn’t come here for this. I don’t like doing this, but it’s what I have to do in order to keep things the way they should be. This pain you feel? It’s minor. Miniscule. But if Ant even thinks about cashing in, I’ll be back.” Warren stepped forward, crouching to meet James at level on the floor. Warren Corbett: “I hope I never see you again, Mr. Sands. But that’s entirely up to your daughter.” Warren waved over to Seth, who threw the cup of ice into the sink, before the twosome walked out the front door, leaving James Sands sitting on the floor and still clutching his shoulder. As the footage ends, the camera pan back to the ring where a fuming and furious Antoinette is pacing back and forth in the ring, screaming and shouting. Markus is doing his best to calm down his fiance, but a teary eyed Antoinette stomps her foot and points to the ramp at Warren and Seth screaming and shouting at the pair as they walk up the ramp with smirks on their faces. |
