LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...
LIBERATION: EPISODE SEVENTEEN
LIVE ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 13TH, 2017 FROM THE HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM IN MANHATTAN, NEW YORK
BACKSTAGE
The feed cuts to a pre-recorded segment of a slick montage of Brendan Callaghan entering the arena from different angles. Usually he doesnt care much for his appearance but tonight, hes dressed up like an A Star athlete, complete with shades on his face and swagger in his steps. The song All Star by Smash Mouth is heard playing from somewhere, serving as the soundtrack to the comically dramatic sequence as he makes his way to the catering area while high-fiving and enthusiastically pointing to clueless backstage crew members. At the end of the line is Tessa Sweet looking rather confused and out of place and Brendan, not looking in front, nearly collides into her. He quickly taps on his phone to cut the music.
Tessa Sweet: Brendan!
Brendan Callaghan: Sorry, didnt see ya there!
He backs up quickly and takes off his sunglasses.
Brendan Callaghan: Oh its you, just the person Im looking for! Hows it going, Tessa? Man, have I got the news for you! So huge it will shake the company to its very core!!! So where are we doing this interview? Here? Now? Do I need makeup? Do I sit or stand? Is it a serious, formal thing? I can smile, right?
He grins as he turns his body sideways, just ready to spring into action as per her direction. Tessa inhales slowly, pinching the bridge of her nose as she mumbles something to herself before dropping her hand, smiling with a shake of her head.
Tessa Sweet: We can do it here if thats what you want. Sitting or standing would be your choice and no.. you really dont need makeup You let me know where you want to do this and we can get started; Alright?
Brendan does a little cheesy salute and looks around for a place to sit. He walks towards a couple of chairs nearby and takes a seat before changing his mind to stand. As he adjusts his shirt, he takes a deep breath but then decides to sit down anyway.
Brendan Callaghan: Okay, this is a good spot. Now hit meh! Oh and uh have a seat, Tessa. Lets roll!
Tessa laughs slightly as she makes her way over to him, taking a seat beside him she quickly adjusts her hair and pulls the hem of her skirt down modestly, turning her attention to him with a clear but friendly tone.
Tessa Sweet: Now, I know you have some big news you want to share with the fans Brendan, but I thought perhaps we could start with the interview itself and end with the big reveal, hows that sound?
Leaning back in his chair, Brendan raises his eyebrows slightly in concern.
Brendan Callaghan: Oh, uh, yeah sure! I mean, as long as the questions arent too difficult. Theyre not, right?
Tessa gives him a soothing and reproachful smile, shaking her head.
Tessa Sweet: Of course not, let's start with a really easy one? How does it feel to see Scarlett still a Champion? Youve made no secret of your distaste for one another and shes rather uncouth in general when it comes to presenting herself, does this color your view at all?
Brendan scoffs.
Brendan Callaghan: Scarlett still being champ is like the worlds worst joke ever! I HATE it! I mean, its not about the title, ya know? Its never been. But I keep getting placed in these matches and I just do my thing, right? Then I make my way up, get so close to the top and every single time, suddenly somebody knocks me off the ladder and Im back down here again! And its always the same thing. They want what I have, the opportunity to hold a title. That was Ana and Isabella. And that was Scarlett too! She even started this trend of stealing my shit. Once is funny, twice even funnier but three times? Four? It gets annoying. So if and when I beat Carina tonight, I want to take that Trials championship from Scarlett just to piss her off.
He shrugs, giving a smug grin. Tessa nods at his answer, clearing her throat before posing the next one.
Tessa Sweet: Its no secret that the relationship between you and your father, the owner of this company, is strained. Do you think he has been allowing Scarlett these stipulations to punish you, or do you believe the rumors that theres a little more than shine being offered up by her?
Its clear to see that this question makes him clench his jaw slightly but he tries to keep his cool with an inaudible sigh. He hesitates, seemingly choosing his next words carefully.
Brendan Callaghan: Yeah.... And I dont know. To be very honest, Tessa, I dont know what to believe anymore in that regard. Its just They can do whatever.
Looking away, he shrugs again, though this time its less out of spite and more out of genuine loss for words. Tessa presses forward, leaning in a little.
Tessa Sweet: You dont find it a little odd, Brendan, that your family has stood by and allowed these things to happen? Perhaps your father has gone beyond believing to teach you a lesson There are a lots mumblings in regard to his recent decisions; do you still believe hes making the right decisions for the company?
Brendan frowns as he turns back to face her, still sunken in his chair.
Brendan Callaghan: Wait, I thought youre only gonna ask the easy questions. This is like advanced level and I admit, Im not the smartest person out there so uh next question?
He starts to shift in his seat uneasily. Tessa shrugs slightly and gives him a sweet, Disney smile.
Tessa Sweet: Okay Brendan lets try something easier Aside from beating Scarlett, what are your long term goals for your time in Liberty?
He wipes visible beads of perspiration on his forehead with the back of his hand as he breathes out a sigh of relief. He sits up a little but still in a relaxed position.
Brendan Callaghan: Oh that? Simple. Just wrestle as many matches and as long as I can. Its the same for every company I sign to. Just do my thing, thats it. Wrestling is simple. People just like to make it so complicated and I dont know why.
Tessa nods along with his response.
Tessa Sweet: Is there anyone out there who inspires you as a wrestler?
Brendan smiles and answers it without skipping a beat.
Brendan Callaghan: My brothers.
Tessa smiles warmly, nodding her head again.
Tessa Sweet: Your family has intensive ties to the wrestling business; but what about those who have shied away from it the recent discovery of a second sister must have been another shock to you, do you think youre close to all of your siblings?
Brendans shoulders slump a little as a thoughtful look crosses his face.
Brendan Callaghan: No but I wish I am. As harsh as it sounds, theyre still strangers to me. Im already trying my best to build relationships with Michael and Noel but to find out theres yet another one, Codie Its nothing against them. Im not mad at them, Im mad at the fact that they were kept a secret from the rest of us by my father. Im mad at him. These fucking secrets, I swear! Family is and always will be important to me. Guess who taught me that? Him. Ironic, huh?
Starting to look visibly bothered, he suddenly stops himself before looking up at Tessa in surprise.
Brendan Callaghan: Whoa Im trying not to say anything bad about my dad tonight. Did you work your little journalistic magic on me or something?? Youre so crafty, making me say things I dont want to. I dont wanna say them, you know.
He pulls up his bag onto his lap and taps it repeatedly while making discreet signals like tilting his head towards it. Tessa gives him a quick smile before nodding to the bag also.
Tessa Sweet: Okay Whats in the bag Brendan?
Brendan Callaghan: Oh this?
He tries his best to conceal his grin while trying to feign innocence at the same time as he takes out a laptop.
He opens it and starts tapping away on the keys to bring up a videoa short clip from the security footage that he had procured last week.
Brendan Callaghan: Like I said, Im not the smartest guy in the world so I may not have all the answers Except this.
He turns the laptop around on his knees so that the screen faces Tessa and presses the spacebar to play the video. Tessa watches with intent curiosity as it shows two people, or more specifically two women, inside what looks like Nathans office. Despite their masked faces hiding their identities, its clear to tell that they are the same masked assailants who attacked Brendan at Festivus For The Rest Of Us. One of them pull out a key from her pocket and together, they approach a locked cupboard to retrieve the infamous Nathan Callaghan barbed wire bat. They quickly lock back the cupboard and bolt out of there.
Tessa Sweet: Okay, but that doesnt sa
Brendan Callaghan: Theres more.
The video cuts to a different scene captured by the security camera inside the same office where now its three masked women standing around, one of them placing the signature bat on his desk. The date on the clip shows that its on the night of Liberation Episode 16 last week. Thats when the door opens and everyone freezes as Nathan unsuspectingly enters. They all look at each other before he closes and locks the door behind him. Thats when the women take off their masks, revealing their identities at about the same time: Coral and Nami Azul aka the Girls of Summer and Scarlett Highland. And Nathan smiles as he picks up his bat and looks around the room at the three women whom everyone in the company has long suspected to be in biased working relationships with the boss and more. The scene here now looks to be a clear picture of proof of that. The video shows them congratulating one another for a job well done before it ends here.
Tessa exhales sharply at the huge revelation as Brendan turns the laptop back around to him and closes it.
Brendan Callaghan: So remember when you asked me before, if I still believe Nathans making the right decisions for the company or the rumors that theres a little more than shine being offered up to him by Scarlett?
He pauses as he leans forward in his chair, his expression unreadable.
Brendan Callaghan: I didnt answer before cause I dont even know what to say. But that video I just showed you does. It may not be at all surprising, but this definitely proves everything people have been saying. My father is working with Scarlett and his girlfriends Coral and Nami and has sent them out to attack me in the ringtwice. I dont know what his fucking agenda is. This is beyond teaching me a lesson as you said, yeah I think so too. But why? Passive aggressive revenge for beating him at Shippin' Off To Boston? Or for taking shots at him whenever I can for being a terrible dad? Or maybe for not giving enough shit about championships like I know he wants me to?
He scoffs. Tessa takes this cue to softly approach her next and final question.
Tessa Sweet: Brendan, youve just exposed the biggest controversy in this company. This is extremely crucial. Are you sure you wanna go through with this? He is your father after all.
Without any hesitation at all, Brendan smirks as he opens the laptop again and taps on a few keys before putting it away.
Brendan Callaghan: There. Ive just emailed you the video. This is why Im here, right? So yeah, Im 100% sure.
BACKSTAGE
Killswitch Engages No End in Sight plays throughout the arena. The stage lights up, all attention turned to Melissa Reeves as she walks out. She isnt wearing her wrestling attire; just jeans, a t-shirt and a leather jacket. Plus, of course, her Liberty Championship.
Reeves confidently strides down to the ring and rolls in, under the bottom rope, before mounting the turnbuckle with the title in hand. As her music dies down, the cheers takeover. She waits for the crowd to ease of, smiling at them throughout for their love, before she finally speaks.
Melissa: So I suppose youre all expecting me to talk about last week? Last week...last week went pretty much how I thought it would. Zeke proved his own words to be nothing more than hollow rhetoric. Am I surprised? No, of course not. Management set that match up fully knowing that what happened was the most likely outcome. So I take a loss because I was set up to fail. Its becoming a familiar tale.
A scoff and shake of her head show her feelings on that.
Melissa: But thats how it goes, isnt it? I got attacked backstage, somehow lost my Anarchy title in a match I couldnt compete in. I managed to get up and going again for the main event, only to be taken out after it by Becky. Its insulting, really. I pour my heart and soul into this place. I bleed and swear Liberty, but theres no thanks. Im the Liberty Champion. Did you know that? Did you all know that?
The crowd cheer and shout yes.
Melissa: You do? Of course you do, because you people, our wonderful fans.you care. You pay attention. But do management? Let me ask this...where was I on the poster for Festivus For The Rest Of Us? Hmm? Thats right. Nowhere to be seen. And part of me wonders if its because I did something wrong as champion. But then again I got people queueing up to take a crack at me. I defeated Becky at her own game and I stood tall. Management kept allowing The Society to outnumber me. They kept allowing Becky to run rampant, and I. STILL. WON.
She takes a deep breath and slowly nods before speaking on.
Melissa: I am the Liberty Champion because I earned this. I am the champion because I proved, definitively, that I can and will defeat someone Becky Balfour in any fair contest. I can and will defeat anyone in Liberty in a fair contest. And that includes you, Ana. But a fair fight isnt what youre about, is it?
Once more she shakes her head.
Melissa: Dont get me wrong, I dont blame you for Zekes actions. You took advantage and I understand. I understand that you feel that you need the advantage. And that? That says more about you than it does me. Its just like how Becky always needed the advantage to be on even footing with me. Because without that? Well. Just ask Becky. Ask Aurora Jansen. Ask Molly Reid. Ask them what happens when you fight me in a match without all the bullshit?
She laughs.
Melissa: Ill save you the time.
And leans in close to the camera.
Melissa: I. Win.
She pulls back from the camera again and circles the ring slowly.
Melissa: I fought to win this title, just as I fought to help build Liberty into what it is today. Ive been here since day one, working to make this into a place where the likes of Ana Hayden are even willing to bother to show up in. Ive been cheated, Ive been beaten down, Ive been told I cant do it. But I DID. Ive been told Im not good enough. But I AM. And whether the likes of Ana Hayden like it or no, I am the Liberty Champion on merit, because I am the best at what I do out of anyone on this roster.
She raises the title up again and the crowd show their appreciation of their champion.
Melissa: But sure, sure, I heard what Ana said last week. I guess shes using everyone elses playbook, because all she said was a repeat of what Ive heard before. Some big shot walks in and thinks they can dominate. Ignorant and arrogant, someone like Ana is always looking to line up and tell me how I cant achieve. They do. The only problem with that is no matter what they say, I keep on showing them exactly how much I can achieve. Here, Vengeance, it doesnt matter. I win gold wherever I go. I beat my opponents wherever I go.
Reeves rests against the top rope. She seems supremely relaxed.
Melissa: My pedigree is growing and growing with each step I take. My peers know it. My fans know it. And whether management want to acknowledge it or not...whether Ana wants to pretend otherwise or not, these people here, this crowd right here tonight? Theyre here to see me.
Again the crowd cheer. Their allegiance is clear. She points out to them.
Melissa: Look at you all. Look at how many of you are wearing my merch right here and now. Its just like how many of you people come out to the signings, ask for photos, stop me in the damn street because you want to talk to me, to tell me how much you look up to me. And Ana wants to claim that nobody here likes me? Nobody here cares about me? Listen, Ana. LISTEN. Hear the voices as I stand here, right now, surrounded by the passionate fans of Liberty Pro. Take in the very thing that makes me feel most alive when I step on from behind the curtain and come back to the place that I call home, this ring, right here.
The cheering intensifies further still. The fans are, indeed, firmly behind Reeves.
Melissa: I live Liberty Pro. I breathe Liberty Pro. I bleed Liberty Pro. Being here, being the champion here may not always be easy. I may have to fight against the odds, against cheaters, liars and backstabbers. I may be outnumbered or hung out to dry. But no matter what situation is thats put before me, I will never give anything less than 100%. And that? That is why I have the support of the people behind me. That is why I am the one who holds the grandest prize in this company and no matter what you or anyone else says, Ana, that is I am the one to beat. So, Ana, you want this title?
She leans in, closer to the camera, smirking - the title prominently held up.
Melissa: The you damn well come try to get it.
Reeves lowers her title and stares into the camera.
Melissa: Use your shot. Challenge me. Lets see what happens. No, actually, lets see if you even stick around after you lose. Lets see if you will dare show your face after youre defeated by me. Because you know what? Win or lose, Ill still be here. Win or lose, Ill still be striving to be at the top of this company. This is my house, I helped build this place and I will continue helping to build it regardless of what happens. Will you?
She vehemently shakes her head. Chuckling, she stands back up straight again.
Melissa: And that brings me neatly to tonight. Tonight I face a woman who, just like me, works her hardest in this ring each and every night. Just like me she fights hard but fair. And just like me she gets screwed over by idiots and cheats. Helena Noir is a rare thing on the Liberty roster. She is, without any doubt, a genuinely worthy contender. She is a woman who has EARNED this shot through nothing but her own hard work.
The fans cheer for both women, despite Helena not being in the ring.
Melissa: I know, I know. Shes a popular lady. But that doesnt mean I can take it easy. Not ever. Doubly so when this title is on the line. Helena...I got zero doubt that you deserve this match. None. You are a future Liberty Champion, I think thats a given. But tonight isnt that time. Tonight isnt your moment in the spotlight. Tonight I will do what I do best. I will fight you, just us two, and I will defeat you. I will walk out still the champion and I will go on to defend it against the next person, and the next after that. And that? That is a promise.
She drops the microphone and moves to the turnbuckle. Her music plays once again as she holds her title in the air for all to see.
MATCH ONE: TRIALS NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH
Carina Eventide vs. Brendan Callaghan

wrote:
Winner: Brendan Callaghan
Finishing Move: By DQ from Scarlett Highland
Near Falls: Brendan Callaghan (4), Carina Eventide (5)
Match Length: 12:32
Match Notes:
The match between Carina and Brendan was a hotly contested one with several near falls coming from each side. Scarlett made sure her presence was knowning during the match, shoutng things at Brendan and distracting him during the match up. Eventually Brendan hit Awesome As Fuck Kapow (Springboard forearm smash) on Carina and as soon as he looked to go for the pin and the win, Scarlett entered the ring and smashed the Trials Championship in Brendans face, causing the DQ.
Post Match:
Scarlett waited for Brendan to get up to his feet and when he did, she charged him and hit him with That Will Leave a Scar. She then grabbed her Trials Championship and stood over him with it as she held it up in the air.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts to the back where Maddux Kingcade is getting ready for his match. He is sitting back, dressed to compete, with headphones on listening to music. He slowly takes the headphones off his ears and eyes up the camera.
Maddux Kingcade: Tonight, Im teaming with Keisha Quickens for the first time. I didnt spare any words explaining how she has gotten chances here for no real reason, while others like me, have busted our asses and still havent gotten a championship opportunity. Personally, I have no beef with this girl other than she talks way too much and way too often for someone just new to this sport. But she will learn that with time when she sees all the bridges around her get burned down. But as long as shes not left wide eyed and vulnerable in our match, then let her talk . doesnt mean Ill be listening.
Maddux chuckles a bit.
Maddux Kingcade: Im guessing Nathan or whoever put this card together has some weird sense of humor by booking us together. Must be an even bigger one since they think Isla Carter and Larclan. First of all, when was the last time either of the, did anything here? This SHOULD BE an easy win in this one so, Keisha Dont fuck this up.
Maddux smirks at the camera before putting his headphones back on his head and nodding to the music as the camera fades out.
BACKSTAGE
I've got to wrestle my bestie? What the hell!?
The scene faded in and Avery Smith was standing at the interview area, alone.
Avery Smith: I know that things haven't been going well for us recently, what with losing our titles and the subsequent rematch. But why do you have to try and break up Team Snapback so soon? Come on, guys!
Avery tries to keep up the act for as long as she can, but she just bursts into laughter.
Avery Smith: Look, all jokes aside, I'm thrilled that I get to face Emily. We both have the chance to flourish, and whether you choose to believe me or not, that's why I 'betrayed' her. Being a tag team was great. For a while. But we were holding each other back. I knew that she was too blind to realise it, and she'd almost certainly have talked me out of it if I tried to inform her of my decision to disband the team. So, really, what other option did I have? Continue to stagnate on the card as a team, or upset a few people and give us both the opportunities that we deserve? To me, that's a no brainer!
The crowd boo, not having any of it. The more Avery attempts to justify her actions, the louder they get.
Avery Smith: I know that I'm not the most popular woman in Liberty Pro right now, and that's fine. You can boo me, because I understand how it looks from your viewpoint. But perspective changes everything. In time, you will ALL see that I'm right. I don't expect an apology, though. I know I won't be getting any. But what I do expect is some respect around here. Because I sure as hell wasn't getting any when I walked around with a stupid cap on my head and pretending as though my 'snapback game' was actually important. Well, how important is it now?
Avery points to the snapback on her head, positioned back-to-front.
Avery Smith: How about NOW!?
Avery rips the hat from her head and forcefully throws it to the ground, aggressively stomping on it.
Avery Smith: It's nothing more than a fashion accessory. Basically, we were a team built entirely around some headgear. No wonder we were never taken seriously enough to be considered a threat. Well, how about now? Am I a threat yet? I guess you can just ask Emily after the night is done. After all, I'm going to flourish tonight. At her expense. Sorry about that!
Avery blows a kiss and winks at the camera, arrogantly. She skips off the set.
MATCH TWO: TAG TEAM MATCH
Maddux Kingcade & Keisha Quickens vs Isla Carter & Larclan
wrote:
Winner: Maddux Kingcade & Keisha Quickens
Finishing Move: FYG Elbow
Near Falls: Keisha Quickens (4), Maddux Kingcade (3), Isla Carter (2)
Match Length: 8:56
Match Notes:
This match was mostly Maddux and Keisha trying to one up each other as they dominated the other team. Eventually, Keisha hit Larclan with Quiksand (Buzzsaw Kick) and as she was about to go for the pin, Maddux tagged himself in. Keisha rolled her eyes at him as Maddux got into the ring and lined up Larclan for the FYG Elbow, which he connected. Maddux then got the pin and the win.
Post Match:
Maddux and Keisha both had their hands raised in the ring and Keisha went to shake his hand but Kingcade turned his back on her. Keisha shrugged before playing to the crowd some more but then Maddux turned and took her out with the FYG Elbow. Maddux then stood over Keisha, talking trash to her before exiting the ring.
EARLIER THIS WEEK
In a small meet and greet with fans, Honey sits with a few fans gathered around as she answers questions from the fans.
Honey: You!
Honey points to a blonde girl no older than 15 who goes quiet and then finds her voice.
Girl: Honey, what's it like knowing you're going to team with Coda on Libert 17?
Honey: It's super! Like, I worked with Coda lots and lots but we never, ever teamed up. And Coda's really good in the ring too. She always wants me to do well and stuff. I always want her to do well and she was, like, a super strong champion. So, um, it feels super duper!
The girl is delighted as Honey taps her lip looking at the little crowd.
Honey: Ummmm....you!
She points to a guy in the crowd who's quite tall among the blonde girls at the front.
Tall Guy: Is this the start of a tag team with you and Coda. If it is, what's your team name?
Honey's cheeks go redder and she chortles before looking up.
Honey: Ummm, I don't know. Like, I did a lot of tag team wrestling too, so I have good experience and so does Coda. But not, like, together. Maybe we can be! And I don't know what our team name would be, because I would have to check with, like, Coda and see what she likes too. Teaming is about being considerate of your partner and stuff.
She smiles and then leans forward remembering what to add.
Honey: And I think Coda would like to be a fun, serious, tough team name too. Like, ummm, the Wrestlebusters or something.
Honey shrugs, spouting an amalgamation of wrestling and the boy's ghostbuster t-shirt.
Wrestling Fan: If this is your first time teaming with Coda, won't there be bugs in your wrestling against your opponents ?
Honey looks at him a little strange and shakes her head.
Honey: I don't think we have any, like, insects or creepy crawlies in our wrestling. I know we didn't win our matches last week, so we're hungry to win and stuff....but not for, like insects. They're not nice. Yuck.
Honey cringes a little at the thought of having to eat a spider or some bushtucker eating trail from I'm a Celebrity get me out of here.
MATCH THREE: TAG TEAM MATCH
Coda & Honey vs Romeo Black & Vitor Mata
wrote:
Winner: Coda & Honey
Finishing Move: Honeys Ultamagic
Near Falls: Coda (3), Honey (3), Vitor Mata (5), Romeo Black (4)
Match Length: 14:46
Match Notes:
This match was a back and forth affair but Coda and Honey proved to be the better teammates, showing that despite their past, they were able to show respect to each other and pull off the victory for the greater good. On the other end, Vitor and Romeo ended up arguing quite a bit, especially with Vitor causing issues with Romeo. Eventually Vitor left Romeo on his own and Romeo ended up taking a Symphonic Elbow (discus elbow) from Coda before Honey hit him with Honey's Ultimagic (Jumping Spike DDT transitioned into a Guillotine Choke with her legs wrapped around the body) and Romeo would soon tap out.
Post Match:
Coda and Honey shook hands after the match, showing a sign of respect towards each other. Coda then exited quickly as Honey picked Romeo up and gave him a pat on the back, telling him he did a good job.
BACKSTAGE
Emily Jackson: Avery you and I used to be friends.
The words came out quick from Emily, the words felt dejected as she shook her head. She quickly put her hands on her head.
Emily Jackson: I get it I lost the titles for us and everything and it was my fault my eye was not on the prize and I felt just like you did that we could have been champions for a long time. It hurts me to say that we lost them so quickly and also ever since we won those titles you and I were not good enough so it was a matter of time that we would lose them honestly. I loved holding that gold with you and going out and people knowing us and saying that they were fans of ours but YOU threw that away.
She shook her head.
Emily Jackson: YOU were the one that made everything go away between the both of us. The Girls of Summer beat us and took our titles but you threw away something bigger...a friendship...
She shook her her head one more time.
Emily Jackson: I HATE you, I loathe you and I want to make you feel pain and I won't say sorry this time. We are in the ring together tonight and I am going to make you pay for what you did. I am not the nice Emily Jackson anymore I am out for payback and you are in my cross-hairs.
Emily makes a gun motion with her hands and winks.
MATCH FOUR: SINGLES MATCH
Avery Smith vs Emily Jackson
wrote:
Winner: No Contest
Finishing Move: N/A
Near Falls: N/A
Match Length: 00:00
Match Notes:
As Emily made her entrance, Avery Smith came out and attacked her from behind with a chair. Avery used the chair on Emily over and over again until it was nearly bent in half and broken. Romeo Black, Emilys boyfriend, came out from the back to make the save bet Avery threw the chair at him before taking him out with a cutter. Avery then picked up Emily and threw her off of the stage and onto a bunch of electrical equipment that shorted out once Emily hit it, causing electricity to fly everywhere around Emily. The fans were in shock as Avery glared down at Emily in the rubble before turning and walking away with an emotionless look on her face.
BACKSTAGE
Liberty backstage interviewer Tim Anderson is standing by backstage when the cameras cut to him. He smiles at the camera and introduces his guest.
Tim Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, KeKe Quickens!
The rookie looks a little worse for wear after the attack following her match. She attempts to keep a smile on her face though.
Keisha Quickens: Thanks Tim!
She picks up quickly that not even he is buying the excitement.
Tim Anderson: KeKe your team picked up the win tonight but with what happened after the match, it has to leave a bittersweet sting to it. How are you?
The disappointment is clear but she tries not to let it come across in her voice.
Keisha Quickens: I mean, I mentioned it on Twitter a few days ago. It didn't seem like Maddux was interested in really being a partner. I knew that things weren't going to go well when he tagged himself in.
Tim nods, but pushes the subject a little.
Tim Anderson: We saw that turn into him attacking you after the match. You seemed caught off guard.
She shrugs her shoulders.
Keisha Quickens: I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean, we had just won our match. I didn't think that I had done anything to deserve something like that...
She loses her train of thought and her words trail off. It takes her a second but she brushes it away and forces the smile back onto her face.
Keisha Quickens: It's a learning experience, I guess. I still think that I put on a good show. Hopefully the people that came to see me feel good about my performance. I kinda wish things turned out differently, but that's not always how life goes.
Tim let's her off the hook and offers her a reassuring smile.
Tim Anderson: Well one thing is for sure, you are still standing, and you still walked away tonight with a win.
KeKe nods, and lightens up a bit.
Keisha Quickens: That's right! I gotta focus on the positives!
BACKSTAGE
Seth smirks as he walks into the picture. He is in his wrestling gear. He snaps his fingers and his assistant Paul Bolden runs in and wipes his forehead as Seth had some sweat rolling down his bald head.
Seth Lawless: Wow! I really do feel like the Girls of Summer after a night with Nathan Callaghan sweaty and wanting more. Honestly, I mean it must be hard for those girls to lay there and have Nathan with his old balls walk into the room and feel satisfied after it is over.
Paul chuckles a little bit and Seth just shakes his head and mouths the word no over to him.
Seth Lawless: I didn't tell you to laugh Paul...anyways go get me some water.
Paul runs off quickly. Seth puts his foot out and Paul falls over it and hits the ground hard.
Seth Lawless: Oops...
Seth laughs as Paul dusts himself off and runs off.
Seth Lawless: Anyways, Girls of Summer you aren't as good as you thought you were are you. We won, we are the best team in Liberty and soon to be the best team in CWC. You see you were a warm up for us and yes I know that is harsh to say and all of that shit but it is true. Look at my damn record here in Liberty, I have only been pinned TWICE, I am the best damn wrestler that doesn't have a title in this company. I know what I need to do and that is to keep on destroying everyone that gets in my way. I am the Lawless One, I am the Bald Beautiful Bastard and I am the uncrowned champion in this company, and you know what soon I will be the CWC tag team champion and then I will have what I deserve...speaking of which where is my damn water?
He walks off looking for Paul as the scene fades.
Trent Grundy vs Riley Savell

Winner: Riley Savell
Finishing Move: Savell Stomp

Match Length: 17:32
Match Notes:
Trent Grundy was able to control this match for a big portion of it due to his size, as he towered over Savell. Trent almost took her out with Absence of Hope (Crucifix Powerbomb) but once he hit it on Riley, her momentum carried her to the outside of the ring. She almost lost by countout but she rolled in after the nine count. Eventually Trents size became a detriment as he soon became exhausted against the much faster and quick opponent in Riley. She soon took him out with a hurricanrana driver, followed by a Savell Stomp (curb stomp) before getting the pin and the win.
Post Match:
Riley rolled out of the ring with a smirk on her face as she walked away before brushing her hands together like shes getting the dirt off of them. She then turned to face the ring again and looked at the recovering Trent before yelling out, Youll never get this! She then turned and walked away.
BACKSTAGE
Coral's voice floats up as she walks alongside her twin and fellow Liberty Tag Team Champion Nami
Azul. They have their arms casually linked as they walk, looking curvy and energetic in matching cherry red and cream ring gear tonight. Around their waists they had the Liberty Tag Team Championship belts and the light gleams off of them as they wiggle their hips while they walk. Is it unnecessary? Probably, but they sure are working it.
Coral Azul: So tonight we're facing off with one of the hydra-headed sections of HASHTAG The Society. We get co-founding whining bitch Becky Balfour, and her beard, Seth Lawless. Though I guess she's Balfour-Lawless, isn't that how rich skanky bitches who aren't even entertaining enough to polish Paris Hilton's shoes do it? Hyphenated and over-rated!
Nami looks at her twin and gasps, though the expression on her face of vast amusement doesn't match the exclamation after.
Nami Azul: Coral that's MEAN. I know Becky is a constant whiner who isn't even smart enough to pick some new material when she tries to come...
A sudden harsh giggle from the pair.
Nami Azul: Well we both know she doesn't do that... but she tries to come at our necks on Twitter and every time we make her look exactly as stupid as she actually is and well... that's hella stupid. What a total Barney.
The pair vigorously nod.
Coral Azul: See we tried to be chill with her, you know? We gave that Puritan Duck looking like she applied her makeup with a weedeater actual credit. When we were signed to Liberty by the genius that is Nathan Callaghan, PD Becky was in fact a champion and well, we gave her the benefit of the doubt and recognized her. More foolish things have happened, right? But this PD, quacked her little pancake booty right onto the naughty list and not in the good way that would keep Seth from divorcing her the minute he realized he wed a duck masquerading as a human.
Nami blinks at her twin.
Nami Azul: I mean she's not really a duck even though she makes that duck face all the time like anyone wants to lick that and taste...
The two sisters turn to each other looking positively horrified at the implications.
Coral and Nami Azul: EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
They shake themselves, full body shiver and then Coral continues to speak.
Coral Azul: Fun aside, we know what to expect from the Diet Coke branch of The Society. Warren Corbett is really the only one worth a damn but we don't get him tonight. We get the cheaters, the scraps, the bitches. We get a "team" of husband and wife who can't stop underestimating everyone, who talk themselves up plenty but then bitch when they're expected to show they give a shit about the company that MADE THEM... Liberty Pro. See maybe YOU two don't care but we do! All you care about are some imaginary slights and getting that shot at the current CWC Tag Team Champions because you want that recognition for yourselves so bad and you don't care about Liberty. You both act like you're going to come out to the ring and by some amazing bit of slut and frigid bitch magic make us suddenly not care and not wrestle our best. You want to STEP on us, and well...
Nami Azul: ...well screw that and somebody else screw you, because no one that's ever had the good stuff would touch either of you. How do you like it? How do you two like being told you're nothing more than meat, that all your wrestling skills are nothing compared to what you happen to want to do with your own genitals. Grow the fuck up.
Coral smiles wickedly.
Coral Azul: It's not our fault that we get laid, properly and amazingly. It's the truth when we say even if we got traded off to another company tonight? We'd still sleep with Nathan because he's the best and we deserve the best.
Nami Azul: And he's Daddy as hell and Dreamy as hell and he does this... well he's really fantastic.
Coral stares at her a second before she nods.
Coral Azul: You both think this is a warm up before you go off traipsing around to face another team. That we can't stop you. That you can't be stopped, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Nami Azul: You're wrong.
They high five each other and continue their walk.
BACKSTAGE
Immediately after the match Riley Savell comes through the curtain with a look of elation on her face, as soon as she spots the camera her expression becomes more controlled. Turning to the camera she steps up close with a smirk on her lips.
Riley Savell: Tonight, I proved a point. I went out there and I defeated Big Doody sorry, Original Bleh Daddy, latest and lamest member of HASHTAG the society.
Riley rolls her eyes and mimicked a gagging motion, thrusting two fingers as though she is pushing them down her throat.
Riley Savell: When I asked for this match, I did so with the knowledge that I would win, not only did I know I would win this but I knew Id do it on my own. Not because I needed to prove anything to the little babies crying about my wrestling family. Not because I need accomplishments under my name alone, but because a minuscule little ant like the man I destroyed tonight, does not deserve the attention and the acclaim that comes with a beat down at the hands of Ascendancy.
Riley smiles and shakes her head, stepping even closer to the camera to get an extreme close up.
Riley Savell: Do I miss my brethren? Of course, but there is something you dont understand about us, were not a movement, not some hard up cause. Fuck no, we are a group of like minded individuals who all share the shadow of a lesser talented older sibling. Together, like we are in empire. Or alone, like I am here tonight, we dominate and defeat under one banner and that, is the banner of Ascendancy.
Riley kisses the lens with a soft laugh, lifting her brow at the camera in an almost playful way before pushing back.
Riley Savell: I told you, I told everyone that I would win here tonight. Yet still there were doubters, still people question my legitimacy inside that ring. A lesser person would stamp their feet and demand respect, but the respect of people who cannot see greatness when it stands before them, is of little to no value at all. Instead, I will earn the respect of those who can recognize my talent, our talent. I will earn the respect of people I consider to be equals, instead of demanding respect from those I know to be lessers.
Riley starts to back away from the camera now, offering up a quick nod she nips at her own bottom lip.
Riley Savell: Oh and Ashleigh Good luck tonight, Ill be watching.
And with those parting words, Riley turns and disappears down the hall, heading towards the locker rooms.
MATCH SIX: TAG TEAM MATCH
Girls of Summer vs #TheSociety (Becky & Seth)
wrote:
Winner: #TheSociety
Finishing Move: Detroit Is Burning
Near Falls: Becky Baflour (4), Seth Lawless (3), Coral (5), Nami (4)
Match Length: 14:25
Match Notes:
This match was a back and forth one, with both teams showing off how talented they are and how much they can truly work together. Beck hit Coral with Scream For Me eventually but she only got a two count after the pin because Nami broke it up. Coral and Nami would hit Sandy Cheeks on Becky but Seth would eventually make the save for that. Nami would eventually have Seth on the ropes but suddenly Brendan Callaghan appeared from out of the crowd and he jumped up on the apron and started to distract Nami. This caused Coral to leave her corner and to tackle Brendan down. Nami then turned around and Seth hit her with Detroit Is Burning (Pop-Up Powerbomb) before getting the pin and the three count and Coral rolled in too late to get the save.
Post Match:
Seth and Becky rolled out of the ring and celebrated their victory as Coral checked on Nami. Brendan soon rolled into the ring with one of the tag team championships and he laid Coral out. Brendan stood over the twins with a different, more determined look in his eyes as he threw the belt down on them. Soon Scarlett sprinted down to the ring and Brendan noticed her and he realized he didnt want to play the three on one numbers game, so he quickly rolled out and exited through the crowd.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage, Ashleigh Powell is lacing up her boots, the Liberty Pro Gotham Championship sitting beside her. Standing, shes met by Tim Anderson, who she greets with a smile.
Ashleigh Powell: Tim! Good to see you.
Anderson smiles politely before launching into his interview.
Tim Anderson: Ashleigh, good to see you too; tonight, youre not defending the Gotham Championship. Instead, youre in a ladder match, the first of your career, in an attempt to win the Anarchy Title from The Societys Warren Corbett. Are you nervous, going into this?
Ashleigh nods, and a look of unease does cross her face as she replies.
Ashleigh Powell: Oh, definitely. Theres few matches that are quite as risky or dangerous as a ladder match. Nevermind just the idea of falling from that high, but, you know...its steel. And with someone like Warren holding it, its coming at me with a lot of force. Obviously Im going in there a lot quicker than he is, like I have in the past with other opponents. But
Tim Anderson seemingly nods in agreement, letting out a low Mmhmm of agreement.
Tim Anderson: If he gets his hands on you, or catches you with that ladder, its not going to be pretty. I want to change gears, though; last week, Nathan Callaghan told both Zooey West-Jaa and Felix Vialpando that theyre in line for a shot at your title-
Ashleigh Powell: And well deserved shots, at that.
Tim seems slightly taken aback at that; perhaps because hes more used to people saying their challengers dont deserve their shots, or just at her interruption, but he continues.
Tim Anderson: Later tonight, theyll face each other, and while Nathan hasnt said yet...it could be for who faces you first for the Gotham Championship. Do you have an opinion on who youd like to face first?
Ash pauses, giving the moment some thought before responding.
Ashleigh Powell: Honestly? Not really; both have worked hard to get here. I know Im turning around at the end of the weekend to face Felix in the Young Guns Cup, and Zooey and I faced off in that triple threat match-
With heard of someone scribbling something in a notepad the two turn around to see potential contender
Felix Vialpando standing there. He looks up to see that the two have stopped speaking.
Felix Vialpando: Oh..Dont mind me. Please, go on Ashleigh.
He acts as if he was ready to take down more notes as she spoke but instead of talking Ashleigh just stood there.
Felix Vialpando: Look, Ashleigh. This is just yet another test in our course of Gotham Championship studies. So far we have both been able to ace some pop quizzes. But what about the final exam? Who will walk out the one with the A plus there along with the Gotham Championship? Sure, we got us a little pre-test come Sunday for the Young Guns Cup but as important as that match is it isnt as important as the final exam.
He smirks and glances over at the Gotham Championship.
Felix Vialpando: And I feel as if Im good and ready for the final exam.
Just then Zooey West-Jaa walks over and slaps the notepad out of Felixs hands with a slight laugh, rolling her eyes she steps in front of him to cut him off completely, addressing Ashleigh.
Zooey West-Jaa: I thought Id cut that irritating interference out of this, its like a buzzing fly only easier to swat.
Zooey scoffs as she nods her head back at Felix, but her eyes dont move from Ashleigh as she talks.
Zooey West-Jaa: Ash, heres the thing. You? Youre all over the place, youve got one eye over your shoulder waiting for someone else to jump you and the other on your next challenge. Youre not focused on Liberty and, as much as I respect your drive to succeed youre spreading yourself thin.
Ashleigh crinkles her nose at that comment.
Ashleigh Powell: I may have been recently, but when it comes to this title?
She first gestures toward, then picks the Gotham Championship up, putting it over her shoulder.
Ashleigh Powell: My focus is squarely on whats in front of me. Which, funnily enough, is exactly whats in front of me right now! I know what Im doing, and while I dont always have control of what others do...whether thats Ascendancy, or The Society, or whoever...Im focused on making sure this belt stays on my shoulder, just as it always has been.
She looks back and forth between Zooey and Felix, waiting for one of them to respond. Felix still bewildered by the audacity of Zooey knocking his notepad out of his hands quickly scrambles to pick it back up.
Felix Vialpando: Now listen here missy! That wasnt very nice of you and I do not appreciate you disrespecting my notes in such a way! You hear me?! I have a Gotham Championship to win and Im not gonna let you ruin my notes on just how to get it?!
Felix steps back and takes a deep breath to calm himself down. He then opens his eyes and looks over to Ashleigh.
Felix Vialpando: Please excuse this rude can of corn, Ashleigh. We can not let some nuisance such as her ruin our class that has been in session since we first faced one another. You see shes very much badly mistaken for even thinking she has a chance at beating me for a shot at the LPW Gotham Championship when its pretty clear that it is I who will securing the opportunity to take the belt away from you err I mean...to facing you for it in our final exam.
Zooey spins on her heels and is nose to nose with Felix, she chuckles slightly and shakes her head with a dramatic sigh.
Zooey West-Jaa: Look, note boy. You can play kiss chase with Ash any time you want but this little pass the baton back and forth you seem to think you have going on ends right, fucking, here. You may have no idea who I am, but youll find out and then, after I put you out on your ass
She spins back to Ashleigh and taps the title for emphasis.
Zooey West-Jaa: Ill be coming for you, Ashleigh and this will be coming home with me.
Ashleigh watches Zooeys finger tapping on her title, then lifts her eyes to meet her challengers gazes.
Ashleigh Powell: You can come, and you can come...but until one of you finishes the job?
Ashleigh taps the title herself.
Ashleigh Powell: This stays right here. Good luck tonight...both of you.
She gives a slight smile, a nod to Tim Anderson, whos still standing there, and heads off to prepare for her own match later.
BACKSTAGE
Zeke Reed stepped out to the mixed reaction of an entire arena. There were those who banded with him during his war with Felix Vialpando, yet there were those who supported the hero of Liberty Pro in Melissa Reeves. As he got into the ring, he took in his surroundings before bringing out a microphone of his own, fashioned after the microphones held by MCs of old. He twirled it around before letting the crowd voice their critical reaction of what he did. When they started to die down, he rose his head up with a sigh.
Zeke Reed: I take it that you dont like what I did?
The reaction that he got doesnt do anything to sway his feelings either way.
Zeke Reed: Since day one here in Liberty Pro, I was here for number one. I didnt mind lending my services to the good fight, but when that was over, I had to get back to making sure that I walk into this arena one day with that Liberty Pro Championship around my waist. I never said that I was a good person; I never said I was the bastard that many others try to be. Im just the man that knows what he wants, and knows how to get it.
He waved his hands at the audience, who started to boo him heavier.
Zeke Reed: Dont get it twisted. This isnt some proclamation of war. Melissa knows what this is. She should know by now that it wasnt anything personal. Its called a message, for you all that dont get it. Im not going to start attacking her, no. I just needed her to realize that this championship match isnt two friends, allies, fighting a happy-go-lucky match. No, this is the two best people in Liberty Pro fighting for what they want. Melissa wants to hold onto that championship while I try to ruin this reign for her. I dont need to say anything else on that matter. However--
Zeke paused.
Zeke Reed: I got to deal with two girls that think they deserve to be where I am at. Hayden, I know for sure, wants to try to work her way into the top rankings, and shes...shes thinking Im just going to give it up. Strickland thinks that she got this in the bag, but I know all the song and dance of how this match goes. Either, Ana tries to get the one up on me with Strickland, and I get jumped.
The crowd didnt like that reaction much.
Zeke Reed: Or I make an effort to beat Strickland down before Hayden gets the thought and take this match back from this bullshit narrative theyre trying to spin.
Despite what he did to Melissa, the crowd cannot help but cheer for Zeke Reed. He paused to let them cheer, but he took control back.
Zeke Reed: I dont need to stay out here and spew my mouth on whatever the hell kind of mess theyre trying to pull. I dont need to call Reeves down here to try to get in my face. I dont need to attack her from behind and stomp her out. Matter of fact, I dont have to do anything but what Im meant to do. Well watch how this all goes.
Zeke allowed only the smallest of smirks to spawn on his face.
Zeke Reed: Im a one-man army, and there are enemies all around me. I want the gold, but I got to fight the world for it. Ill be seeing you, Melissa.
Zeke dropped the microphone and left the ring, having said what he needed to say.
MATCH SEVEN: SINGLES MATCH
Felix Vialpando vs Zooey West-Jaa
wrote:
Winner: Felix Vialpando
Finishing Move: Roll Up
Near Falls: Zooey West-Jaa (6), Felix VIalpando (4)
Match Length: 11:22
Match Notes:
This match could be considered one of them matches of the night as Zooey and Felix both shared quite the back and forth match. Felix would end up kicking out of a brutal Crane Kick from Zooey, meanwhile Zooey was able to kick out of the Falcon Call (Omega Driver) from Felix. The match continued to go back and forth until Felix hit Zooey with a roll up and he grabbed a handful of her tights. The leverage gave Felix the three count and the victory and the referee didnt notice.
Post Match:
Felix quickly rolled out of the ring, fully expecting an angry Zooey to retaliate for his cheating move. Zooey grabbed the ropes and glared at Felix before yelling at him. Felix simply grinned as he made a championship motion over his waist, declaring himself the future Gotham Champion.
BACKSTAGE
We begin on what appears to be some sort of plinko game. The one on the Price is Right where you stand at the top and drop the chips down. The theme song is definitely playing in your head right now. COME ON DOWWWNNN. But really, at the bottom of the set up are photos of the four singles championships of Liberty Pro, each with a certain amount of plinko chips piled up. The Liberty Championship easily has the majority, with the Gotham and Trials Championships bringing in second and third. The Anarchy Championship definitely has the least amount of chips stacked up on its photo. The camera pans upwards, as another chip is dropped, landing among the Anarchy ones. The shot continues upwards, stopping on Warren Corbett at the top, holding multiple plinko chips. The real belt lie upon his shoulder.
Warren Corbett: Theres been this idea prevalent within Liberty Pro, that this Anarchy Championship is supposedly a lesser championship. Lesser than the Trials Championship, lesser than the Gotham Championship. Im not here to argue which falls where on the totem pole, but I am here to tell you this ANARCHY Championship means a whole hell of a lot more than some people give it credit, simply because the division has been dominated by me.
He drops another one, it landing upon the Anarchy stack, as well. Someone get this dude on The Price is Right stat. Or maybe he already hasbeen, Nancy Drews of the world pull those videos up of young Warren Corbett from the depths of the internet.
Warren Corbett: The Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship was the second championship in New York, the ideas for the Trials Championship and the Gotham Championship didnt come until later. Not to mention it was previously held by your current Liberty Champion, Melissa Reeves, and I successfully defended against the current Trials Champion, Scarlett Highland. The Anarchy Championship has been defended at almost EVERY Liberation, to hold onto it means youre constantly fighting just to hold onto this very title. Its only made me appreciate it more. I was born in anarchy, and I continue to reign in anarchy.
Warren throws the plinko chips into the air and towards the camera, clearly not giving one fuck about the damn chips and perceived prestige of his own belt.
Warren Corbett: Since Ive already beaten the Trials Champion, I suppose its only fitting I also successfully defend against the current Gotham Champion, as well. If thats what Liberty Pro wants me to do in order to prove not only my worth, but the worth of the division as a whole, then so be it. Ive been front and center since Liberty Pro was created, and I sure as hell am not going to back down now. Too many people have told me Im not good enough, too many people have tried to hold me back from what I truly deserve! The world tried to push me back down, but I continue to fight on. You may have impressed enough to earn your belt, and to be given a shot for the Anarchy title, but you havent lived in anarchy, Ashleigh. Sorry to burst your bubble but Im not about to see Ashy Two Belts in your twitter name. Im keeping this belt, and Im finally getting exactly what Ive deserved for a VERY long time.
The CWC World Championship. People like to talk shit about #TheSociety, but were some of the only people within Liberty Pro even worth mentioning. WE put Liberty on the map in CWC by winning the Trios Championships, and now we fight even harder to bring even MORE recognition our way. Despite the back and forth treatment weve received, we make the eyes turn towards New York. WERE the ones proving ourselves to the rest of the world, TAKING an even bigger platform for us all. Who else here has even tried to rep the Liberty name while succeeding in the arch that is the CWC? Talk your talk all you want, because I know you will. Ill hear about how Im a big embarrassment to Liberty Pro and all that bunch of bull, but I want you to remember a few things. Who were the only people in Liberty Pro to win the CWC Trios belts? #TheSociety. Who were the only people in Liberty to challenge for the CWC Tag Team Championships? #TheSociety. The CWC World title? #TheSociety. And of course, who does this Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship belong to?
Warren rose the belt up to the camera much closer than it had been the entire time. Still engraved on the front wasnt just his own name.
Warren Corbett: #TheSociety.
Fade to black on the gold plate of the championship belt.
MATCH EIGHT: SINGLES MATCH
Isabella Strickland w/Anastasia Hayden vs Zeke Reed
wrote:
Winner: Zeke Reed
Finishing Move: She Was Only Seventeen by Anastasia Hayden, giving Zeke the DQ win
Near Falls: Isabella Strickland (6), Zeke Reed (4)
Match Length: 14:34
Match Notes:
Zeke started off this match on the offensively quickly, focusing on Isabellas knees as he tried to take the large woman out. Soon enough he would realize he was in for more than just a wrestling match but also a fight. Anastasia would distract Zeke and the referee several times throughout the match, giving Isabella the advantage several times but Zeke would continuously kick out of everything Isabella brought to the table. Eventually Zeke, fed up with Anas antics, took her out with a forearm smash. He went back to fighting Isabella before he hit her with American History X (Curb Stomp). Before Zeke could pin, Anastasia came into the ring and took Zeke out with She Was Only Seventeen (Running Single Leg Dropkick), giving Zeke the win via DQ.
Post Match:
Anastasia and Isabella both began to work Zeke Reed over before Melissa Reeves and Helena Noir came to the ring. Melissa grabbed Anastasia and tried to hit her with the Reaver Slam but Ana slid off of it and then escaped out of the ring and then into the crowd. Isabella and Helena meanwhile began to fight and they ended up outside of the ring. The two battled back and forth until Helena took her out with an inverted DDT. Meanwhile in the ring, Melissa went to check on Zeke but he angrily shoved her off. Melissa looked away for a moment and shook her head before she decided she had enough of this kind of respect and she leaped up and hit Zeke with a Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) out of nowhere. Melissa then stood over Zeke for a moment before exiting the ring.
BACKSTAGE
Helena Noir: Melissa Reeves. The Liberty Championship.
Helena was sitting in her locker room, relaxing and focusing before what could easily be considered the biggest match of her career, at least in Liberty Pro. New York, New York sung by Sinatra was playing in background, coming from her phone that was resting on the bench where she was sitting. She never hid her passion from The Voice, or how his music not only could be considered the soundtrack of her life, but most importantly would also help her concentrate and get in the right mindset.
Helena Noir: That would have been my answer to anyone who would have asked me why I decided to sign with Liberty Pro, and tonight I have my chance at both. Dont say that dreams never come true
She smiled, raising her look from the floor and pulling back her long black hair.
Helena Noir: I made it clear, since walking into this company. I am here to prove I am the best, to win that title, and I wont settle for anything less. I never had any doubt that Melissa Reeves was going the one I had to beat to accomplish my goal. Even when the title was around Becky Balfours waist, even when the Society seemed to have a firm grasp over it. They say that the cream, eventually, always rises to the top. On any given day, Mel would have had zero problems to beat her. Shes a far better athlete, and unlike Balfour, she has the championship mentality, the heart to overcome any obstacle. It was just a matter of time, and the right circumstances. All she needed to win that coveted prize was a fair shot, without the Society goons interfering, and Im glad I could play a small role in that.
With slow movements, she stood up, cracking her knuckles and neck.
Helena Noir: You know, usually I keep myself out of other peoples business. Im not looking to make any friends, or find any allies in this business. I had my fair share of both, and it never played out too well. I am on my own path, just like you are. Sometimes they walked, and probably will walk in parallel, bringing us closer against common foes, other times, just like tonight, they cross. There are only a few people I respect in this business, and your name is definitely on the list. Ive been waiting for this moment for a long time, Ive been training for this moment for a long time. I am ready to bring the fight to you, and Im sure you are just as ready as I am. Its going to be hard, heavy hitting, grueling. But fair. Of that you can be sure. I never had to cheat, and I have no plans to start now. Its either win and prove my point or fail and go back to the end of the queue for me. May the best woman win tonight.
She picked up the phone, turning off the music and walking toward the door.
Helena Noir: Oh, and one last thing. In case someone, anyone, is planning to interfere in my match Dont.
Trust me when I say that you dont want to deal with the consequences.
With this not so veiled threat, she left the locker room, ready for her first main event in Liberty.
HEADLINE: ANARCHY CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH
Ashleigh Powell vs Warren Corbett
wrote:
Winner: Warren Corbett
Finishing Move: Savell Stomp (Curb Stomp by Riley Savell)
Near Falls: N/A Warren grabbed the Anarchy Championship
Match Length: 23:54
Match Notes:
Warren and Ashleigh absolutely destroyed each other in this ladder match. Ashleigh almost grabbed the Anarchy Championship several times and at one point, Warren shoved the ladder out from under her and she held onto the belt, hanging from it. Warren would quickly climb a ladder before leaping forward and spearing Ashleigh down, causing the crowd to go, HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! Warren almost had his title as he climbed the ladder but Ashleigh would shove the ladder down and Warren went crashing over the ropes, through two tables. Ashleigh set the ladder back up and went to climb it when the lights shut off. They soon turned back on and across from Ashleigh at the top of the ladder was Riley Savell. Ashleigh was taken by surprise and Riley took her down with a forearm smash, knocking Ashleigh off of the ladder. Riley jumped down and the two battled back and forth until Ashleigh started to get a lead in the fight as she mounted Riley. Soon the two of the other three Ascendancy members, Jackson Idol and Megan Rydell, soon appeared from out of the crowd and slid into the ring.
Ashleigh stood up but Jackson took her out with the FC Cutter (RKO) before she could defend herself. Megan then picked Ashleigh up and dropped her with Beautiful Disaster (Lifting DDT). Meanwhile, Riley was busy grabbing a chair. She brought it into the ring and set the chair up so it was standing. Megan then picked Ashleigh up and placed her head down on the chair and held it there as Riley took a few steps up the ladder. Riley then jumped off and put Ashleighs head through the chair with the Savell Stomp (Curb Stomp). The three members of Ascendancy, who were obviously without Aria Cruz today, rolled out of the ring and left the destruction that was now Ashleigh Powell there. Warren Corbett soon recovered and saw the Ascendancy leaving. He quickly rolled into the ring and then climbed the ladder before retrieving his Anarchy Championship and raising it in the air in victory.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cut backstage to Tessa Sweet knocking on Nathan Callaghans office. The door cracks open and he looks out at Tessa with a scowl.
Tessa Sweet: Nathan, can I get a word from you about what Brendan found on those security tapes?
Nathan rolled his eyes and shook his head.
Nathan Callaghan: Fuck off.
He then slammed the door shut. Tessa turned toward the camera and smiled.
Tessa Sweet: There you have it folks, an exclusive reaction from the owner! Back to you at ringside!
MAIN EVENT: LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Melissa Reeves vs Helena Noir
wrote:
Winner: Melissa Reeves
Finishing Move: Facial Deconstructor
Near Falls: Helena Noir (7), Melissa Reeves (4)
Match Length: 25:52
Match Notes:
This match turned out to be an instant classic as Helena and Melissa battled back and forth. Helena showed throughout the match that she deserved to be here as she almost had Melissa down for the count several different times. Near the end of the match, Helena thought she had picked up the win after hitting Melissa with a Lifting DDT and pinning her. It looked like Helena had the three count but Reeves got her foot on the bottom rope. Helena couldnt believe it. She decided to hit the top ropes to go for something big. Melissa looked down and out but as Helena leaped off of the top rope, Reeves kipped up to her feet and hit Helena with a brutal Facial Deconstructor (Codebreaker) before pinning her for the three count.
Post Match:
An exhausted Melissa Reeves was announced the winner and handed her Liberty Championship, which she raised in the air in victory. Soon enough Helena stood up to her feet and she gave Mel a nod of approval before Melissa grabbed her friend and gave her a hug. Melissa then raised Helenas hand up as the fans approved with the loudest cheers of the night, leaving this to be the final scene of the show as it went off the air.

Trent Grundy vs Riley Savell
wrote:
Winner: Riley Savell
Finishing Move: Savell Stomp
Near Falls: Trent Grundy (6), Riley Savell (4)
