RINGSIDE
“Patience is the Virtue” by Slaves blared over the PA system and out walked the High Roller Champion, Jenson Idol, to a mixed reaction from the crowd. With a smirk on his face, he made his way down to the ring. He soon slid in and then asked for a mic, which was handed to him.
Jenson Idol: Oi! Where did all your heroes go? Scott Dunn? He took his ball and went home after I took this championship from him.
Idol tapped the championship on his shoulder with a grin.
Jenson Idol: And Destiny Davis? She got a fat L and what did she do? She ran off again, just like she did in High Roller last year. She talks a big game but once she fails? She leaves. It’s because she doesn’t deserve to be here in the main event. Her mouth got her into the main championship picture and I don’t just mean by talking.
Jenson looked toward the camera with a cheeky smirk.
Jenson Idol: How was her mouth game, Noah? I’m sure everyone wants to know.
He couldn’t help but laugh.
Jenson Idol: Aye, let’s forget about all of those twats. Let’s talk about Bianca coming in here and jumping the line to get to me. While I wholeheartedly believe she is one of the most talented here, I do think that there are others who deserve a chance at me. The Janus ladies, Myra Rivers, Liam Vaughn, FAITH and so on and so forth.
Jenson shook his head.
Jenson Idol: But if Bianca wants to come in and come at the big dawg to call her shot? She can. I’ll put her down like I’ve put down everyone else. So, Bianca? Do me a favour and pay attention to what I do to Jimmy Powers in just a few moments. This is why I’m the champ.
Jenson dropped the mic and prepared for his opening match for the HRW Championship with Jimmy Powers.

RECAP At the start of the match Jimmy looks somewhat dejected still at his goat missing. Jenson tries to be playful with him but finally gets enough of it and slaps him across the face telling him to snap out of it. This sets off Powers who starts to hammer away on the champion now. After the flurry of strikes ends, Powers follows it up with a big Wheelbarrow Suplex followed by a Shining Wizard but only gets a two count. Jenson slides out of the ring to get his bearings but Powers follows him. Idol is quick to use Powers’ rage against him and shoves him into the ring steps. Idol then hits a Hurricanrana Driver on the floor outside of the ring. He rolls Jimmy in and only gets a two count. Jenson is then able to hit his FC Cutter (RKO) and get the win. BACKSTAGE
D’Angelo Riddick is sitting backstage with his hands on his head. He thanks a deep breath and looks at the camera.
Riddick: Failure has never been an option for me. Or at least I’ve worked my ass for it not to be. But since I’ve stepped in this ring I’ve had failure. It has been eating at me and I hate it. I hate looking at myself in the mirror and seeing a loser stare back at me. The scars of my past have started to show up and I hate it with every fiber of my being.
He takes another deep breath.
Riddick: Now look I understand that you can’t win every single match you have. I’d be dumb to think that. But starting now I’m letting everyone here know that this is my business this is my world and you are all standing in the way. I’m ready to lead the black out so be ready for me.

RINGSIDE
The arena darkens, as silence falls. “Circle With Me” by Spiritbox plays and two lights flicker on, aimed across each other and illuminating the newly arrived Alex Reeves between. She takes a few moments to get to the ring, where Erica Jackson is already waiting for her. Reeves slides into the ring, beneath the bottom rope, and poses on the corner for a moment. The music dies down and Alex looks around at the crowd.
Erica: Well, that was quite an entrance there. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome Alex Reeves.
Alex is stoic, though not unmoved by the crowd’s fairly warm reaction to her.
Alex: Thank you, I’m glad to be here.
Erica: Well tonight marks your first show here with us, how do you feel about it?
There’s a brief pause, but Alex doesn’t hesitate in her answer.
Alex: Proud. Proud to be part of this promotion, proud to be able to help it grow and grow from it. But, more than that, proud to be out here trying things on my own.
Erica: I can only assume that’s in reference to your sister, Melissa, who competes over in Liberty?
Alex nods.
Alex: Of course. I love Mel, she’s a big part of my life, but I enjoy making my own way in things too. I want to be seen as Alex Reeves, not Melissa Reeves jr.
Erica: Well speaking of making an impression, your first match tonight pits you against D’Angelo Riddick, another debutant. Do you feel ready for him?
Reeves seriously, sternly looks at the camera.
Alex: Without question. Look, he’s a big bastard and they’re always a challenge, but he’s also green. Even compared to me, it’s not often that I have more experience than someone. I do here, though. But I don’t fight on paper, I don’t go off stats and whatever. I fight here, in the ring, and that’s where I’ll do my talking too. Let’s see if Reddick can keep up, yeah?
She shrugs and steps back, leaning against the ropes, while awaiting her opponent. Erica leaves the ring and the crowd await the match to come.

Xaria Linette vs Ethan Turner
RECAP Right when the match was about to start, two people in black hoods and masks jump from out in the crowd and start to beat down on both Xaria and Ethan. They throw Ethan shoulder first into the ring post and hit a jumping spike piledriver on Xaria. The smaller of the two takes off the hood and its Destiny Davis. She grabs a microphone and says how she’s not going anywhere and if Noah Jackson doesn’t want to give her another title match? She will just do what she has to to get it herself. Security comes and the two then run off. WINNER N/A METHOD N/A MATCH LENGTH N/A FINISHING MOVE N/A |
BACKSTAGE
All In Episode Five cuts to Myra Rivers backstage. She’s taping her wrists, getting ready for a tag team match that she just may be a bit reluctant to compete in. There’s no question about the fact that the events of Double Down are still weighing on her mind at this point. She’s got a dissatisfied expression on her face, but she’s doing the best that she can to keep her composure as she begins to express her thoughts.
Myra Rivers: To say that Double Down didn’t go my way would be an understatement. I knew the whole time I would be fighting an uphill battle considering the type of match that Jack Danielson and I wound up being in for the Roulette Championship. Hell, the VOTE didn’t even go my way. The stipulation that I wanted the least turned out to be the stipulation of the match. I didn’t complain about it. I chinned up and pushed ahead because that’s the type of wrestler I am. Jack Danielson was trying to spin it into “fans abandoned you, blah blah blah”. Look, I don’t know WHY the fan vote went that way…
Myra takes a brief pause as her eyes narrow with anger, indicating that there is a part of her that is still quite annoyed by how that vote went.
Myra Rivers: …and really, speculating on it would be just a giant waste of time. He’s still the HRW Roulette Champion and as much as that SUCKS, speculating on why the vote went the way it did doesn’t change the outcome. I STILL maintain, however, that if you give us a match that is either evenly matched for both of us, or a match where pure, technical wrestling ability has more of an emphasis, that I can and that I WILL be able to beat him for the Roulette Championship. The way things went down? It’s NOT going to end that way. This is going to end on MY terms and for those of you out there wondering why I may be taking it so personal? Well, here’s the thing. He’s the OPPOSITE of the way I was brought up in this business. The way I was brought up in professional wrestling? It was to have some damn respect for it. Drinking on the job? What the FUCK kind of respect is that? Acting like an arrogant asshat that may not even care about himself? There’s no respect in that. I know his last name doesn’t necessarily equal respect considering anyone with the name “Danielson”... or anyone tied to someone with that name… acts like a bunch of immature, self-centered jackasses…
So teaming with someone like that? I’m not going to go as far as calling it a worst nightmare, but like Double Down? NOT ideal.
As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve won four different tag titles with four different people. The second? JUST like him… minus the drunk part. The douchebag, like Jack, didn’t respect the business. He was all about himself, his massive ego, and wanting to be the best ever all while he spit in the face of everyone that went out of their way to help him and not appreciating what was given to him.
Myra takes a sigh as she continues on.
Myra Rivers: And he’s trying to say that I should lighten up… no… I don’t need to lighten up. The son of a bitch needs to GROW UP, that’s what he needs to do. In this tag match, I AM going to show him that between us, I am the better wrestler. I’ll be leading the way. I’ll show him how to really do business in this industry. Not that he isn’t talented, because he is. But I know that what he can do, I will do better. The Bauers? Well, their luck isn’t so grand is it? Because again, uphill battle… and unlike Double Down? It WILL have a favorable outcome for me. If Jack Danielson is a real champion and if he actually gives a crap about having respect for this business, he WILL consider a rematch with rules NOT geared toward his own favor. I guess we’re about to see what kind of tag partner he’ll be…
Myra leaves the scene, still unamused at the situation at hand yet still determined to find a way to make the most of it as the scene cuts out.

BACKSTAGE
Backstage, we see Viola being driven into the building as she gets out of the back of a black luxury sedan whilst emerging from the back in her ring gear, as she spoke briefly.
Viola Mancini: "So, this is how the business looks on the West Coast... interesting."
She said, vaguely, as she would close the door while some muffled sounds came from the trunk as she would go to the driver and command him.
Viola Mancini: "I've got business to take care of. Finish this, and pick me up later, got it?"
She said patting him on the shoulder as he drives off while she prepared for action.

rica Jackson is backstage once again, beaming.
Erica Jackson: “Ladies and gentlemen, with me at this time… ‘Little Miss Fierce’ Pattie Pearce!”
The diminutive yet stocky Australian grappler struts into camera view wearing a stylized red leather jacket, broken mirror pieces, chains, and spikes adorn it. She does a quick pose and then lowers her mirrored shades.
Pattie Pearce: “Hey hey hey! Damn glad to be here!”
Erica nods and marvels at the jacket.
Erica Jackson: “After you made your grand introduction at the Double Down super show, it seems you are being thrown right into the mix here tonight in a Fatal Four-Way. Are you worried your big return after a few years away will be derailed right off the bat?”
Pattie rubbed her chin in thought for just a moment.
Pattie Pearce: “The way I see it, a match is a match is a match, Erica. Three opponents instead of a traditional one on one? Sure the odds are stacked higher but it’s not like they’re all against me three on one are they? Or are they? I don’t know. From the looks of them they might just conspire against the ol’ plucky duck in this thing… get the little dog out of the way and then figure it out from there. We’ve got a what… a non-Fairy Godmother mob boss babe in Viola Mancini; sorry sweetums this isn’t a Coppola or Scorsese jam… a massive NYC hired gun suplex machine in Marshal Smith; a big boy that one… and an entitled self-appointed queen who trots out her man candy hubby like a cuck to her whims in Charity Michaels. Yeah, I see you, best stay out of it, Andy. Or else my boot will have your name on it like Buzz frickin’ Lightyear. Three opponents is enough without any extracurricular shenanigans about.”
She lifted her boot and showed it off for emphasis with a wink.
Erica Jackson: “You are the smallest competitor out there though, aren’t you worried?”
Pattie held up a hand.
Pattie Pearce: “Erica, please… you could basically ask that question every match I’m in. Yes I’m short, but I’m not exactly… incapable.”
She peeled off her jacket and flexed a bicep.
Pattie Pearce: “I’m going to keep moving, bouncing around that ring like a pinball. Bouncing off my opponents one by one. Slinging them into each other. Tossin’ ‘em to and fro. Kicking pits and kneeing faces, that’s my game. Doesn’t matter if it’s one on one or a twenty person battle royale. It’s only human nature to worry from time to time. But you have to have confidence that your worries can be overcome. And if that worry turns into frustration, should I turn angry? If I get infuriated, If I get fierce? All bets are off and I won’t hold myself responsible for what must be done. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry, but I love myself all day everyday!”
Erica Jackson: “So what do you hope to accomplish here tonight?”
Pattie Pearce: “Oh you know, the regular bits… nuclear cold fusion, uncovering the seven wonders of the world, finding Waldo. It’s a bit of a silly question innit? I’m here to turn heads… my opponents’ heads with my knees, and the audience’s heads with all my talent. I want that win. Will I guarantee it? Absolutely not. But I guarantee my name will be on a lot of lips after tonight. I will fly, I will entertain, I will strike deep into hearts and minds. They can give it all they got, but me? I’m taking it into Maximum Overdrive, babe. It’s been a minute, but I got this wrestling thing Down Pat. Mafia and muscle and queens? Oh my. Can’t wait. Tell Mr. DeMille I’m ready for my closeup. Superstar!”
Pattie posed like SNL’s Mary Katherine Gallagher to end the segment.

We cut to the inside of Noah Jackson’s office where he is talking to his security team. When he sees the camera on him he turns and addresses the crowd.
Noah Jackson: Just so everyone knows, Destiny and her accomplice have been seen leaving the building and are no longer a threat to this show. I think she just wanted to make a grand scene in typical Destiny fashion and she’s done just that. Apparently she now wants to get a new deal with High Roller and I’m more than willing to give her that… If she can earn it.
He smiles.
Noah Jackson: So next All In, she will face an opponent of my choosing and if she wins? I will welcome her back with open arms. In fact I will give her a spot in the Jackpot Match for good measure. But if she loses? She’s done here… For good.

BACKSTAGE
The scene opens with Erica Jackson standing backstage in one of her cute outfits she has thrown together and reveals way too much skin for TV. The newest signee to high Rollers Charity Michaels was standing beside her. She was dressed in her wrestling attire and she had a smile on her face. Her husband Andrew was standing beside her looking like the snack he is. But anyways this was her debut match and she wanted to leave her mark.
Erica Jackson:
Charity Michaels let me be the first to welcome you to High Rollers. Tonight is your debut match in a fatal 4 way. Your thoughts?
Charity Michaels:
Thanks Erica. But I'm sure everyone knows who I am. I mean who wouldn't know me?!. I'm the controversial queen of social media. I mean I change my bio almost every single day to match my mood. I don't filter what I say like most of the wrestlers back here.
Now Charity was very confident. Like she didn't let nothing bring her mood down. She was very excited to step into the ring tonight.
Erica Jackson:
Your bios are certainly something. Never saw anyone else change their bio every day. But the question was are you prepared to face 3 other wrestlers in your match? It's not just a one on one match.
Charity let out a small laugh as she looked Erica up and down.
Charity Michaels:
Erica! Cute outfit you should probably put on a sweater or something. It gets a bit drafty back here. But to answer the question YES I am prepared to take out the trash. I'll do what I do best and that is win.
Erica smirked at her comment about covering up.
Erica Jackson:
Thank you for that suggestion but I think I'm fine. But good luck tonight Charity. Also there are rumors going around that you have information about Jimmy Jr?! Rumors that you may have taken him.
Charity would look at her husband and start laughing. Yes she had a little twitter fight with Jimmy but did she steal his damn goat! Maybe. Maybe she took him, maybe she didn't. I'm sure everyone would like to know.
Charity Michaels:
Oh my god Erica you know people should never believe what they see online. Why would I take that poor little goat? I mean yes I did threaten to throw him in a wood chipper but that doesn't mean I had anything to do with his disappearance. That goat is the least of my worries right now. But yeah Erica thank you for taking the time to talk to the queen. I have to go and show pattie, viola and marshal who the queen of the ring really is.
Andrew would grab his wife's hand as they walked away from the camera. You could hear her laughing as they walked away. Like she was guilty of something.

Myra Rivers & Jack Danielson vs The Bauers (Michael Bauer & Steven Bauer)
Myra Rivers & Jack Danielson vs The Bauers (Michael Bauer & Steven Bauer)
RECAP Myra and Jack both seemed like they would rather trash talk each other rather than focus on the Bauers. Michael and Steven used that to their advantage for the start of the match, getting some near falls but Myra and Jack then got into a battle of trying to upstage the other. If Jack hit a bodyslam, Mrya tagged in and hit one as well. They both did chops, trying to outdo the other. Jack then hits his 21 Gun Salute (Powerbomb Lungblower) on Steven saying thats how its done but Myra tagged in and hit her Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker) and took the pin to respond in kind. The camera cuts backstage as we find David Rosenberg and Marshal Smith standing in front of the camera. The two new men to HRW are dressed, ready for tonight, as Marshal is dressed to wrestle while David is ready to mingle and make new friends in high places.
David Rosenberg: “High Roller Wrestling Universe! It’s finally nice to meet you all. For those of you who don’t know who I am, my name is David Rosenberg, manager of the best of the best in the wrestling world! But enough about me, because I’m not the one wrestling tonight. My man right here is.”
The camera pans back to show Marshal Smith, arms crossed and staring a hole into the camera, next to David. David slaps him on the back and gives a cocky grin as he continues to address the camera.
David Rosenberg: “Now I have high expectations for Marshal here in HRW, and do you not see why? I mean look at him! He’s a beast. Strong! Agile! Fast! And after tonight, he’ll show you just how dominant he is. Just give it a few months and he’ll be in the Title hunt for the top title in HRW! But first he has to show what he’s capable of. So that’s what he’ll do. Now tonight! Tonight Marshal faces off against…..
David pauses as he tries to remember who Marshal is facing off against. Holding his finger up, as if to tell the viewers at home to give him a minute, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a piece of paper.
David Rosenberg: “…….Pattie Pearce, Viola Mancini and Charity Michaels….”
David tosses the paper and rolls his eyes as he goes back to talking.
David Rosenberg: “……a bunch of nobodies that won’t be relevant by weeks end. But Marshal, Marshal here is the future of HRW! He’s the future of wrestling! And I know, I know you’ve probably heard that before from other snake salesmen, but I know talent when I see it….I’ve managed champions before. So I know what I’m talking about. But don’t take my word for it, let Marshal show you. Tonight. In that ring.”
Rosenberg pulls out a cigar and lights it up. Taking a few drags from it, David lets out a string of smoke before addressing the camera one last time.
David Rosenberg: “You’ve all been warned.”
Slapping Marshal in the back, David motions Marshal to make his way out. The camera gets a close up of Marshal who shows off his pearly whites….in a mean sort of fashion…before following David.

Pattie Pearce vs Viola Mancini vs Marshal Smith vs Charity Michaels
Pattie Pearce vs Viola Mancini vs Marshal Smith vs Charity Michaels
RECAP When the bell sounds, Viola starts fighting with Charity as Pattie and Marshal lock up. Charity takes the easy road with a thumb to the eye and a hair pull to get the jump on Viola. Marshal tries to overpower Pattie but she shows she won’t be pushed around and gives him more of a fight than he expected. Pattie is able to connect with a Corkscrew Roundhouse Kick that sends Marshal out of the ring but is quick to get dropped by Charity’s spear. She looks to go for the Beautiful Disaster (Running Curb Stomp) but Viola is there for a backstabber that takes down Charity! She then locks Charity in a Rolling Single Leg Boston Crab and tries to make her tap out but Marshal is there to grab Viola and throw her shoulder first into the ring post. He then sends Viola flying with a release German Suplex. Charity swings at him and she gets hit with a big belly to belly suplex. Charity’s husband, Andrew gets up on the apron to distract Marshal and this allows Charity to dump him out of the ring but Marshal hangs onto her and takes her out of the ring with him. Back in the ring Pattie and Viola both get to their feet but it’s Pattie who hits her Down Pat (Springboard Inverted DDT) and scores the win! After the match, Charity gets back in the ring and levels Pattie with her pink baseball bat. She yells about how this is her moment and mocks Pattie some before leaving the ring. Alex rolled her eyes slightly, clearly she wasn't impressed with Erica's question.

Erica Jackson: "Kenzie! Alysha! Do you have time to answer a question or two?"
Backstage interviewer Erica Jackson walks alongside the Adams Twins backstage, trying to keep up with the girls' brisk pace. Alysha scowls at the woman and walks off ahead without saying a word. Kenzie though, is a little more accommodating.
Kenzie Adams: "She's still in a bad mood about Double Down. She probably still will be even after we win tonight."
Erica Jackson: "Well that's understandable, after she was hit by a ring bell hammer costing you girls the win."
Kenzie Adams: "Uh huh. Those Daughters of Janus sure do love their foreign objects, but I promise they won't love them so much when we're the ones using them."
Kenzie folds her arms across her chest and is visibly put into a worse mood just from having to talk about their opponents from Double Down.
Erica Jackson: "You're teaming up with Alexandria Monroe tonight. Thoughts about the pairing?"
Kenzie huffs softly.
Kenzie Adams: "Not my first pick as a partner. We're not exactly friends. But, there are people I like less than her and I know she's a capable wrestler. So all in all? I guess I can make the best of it."
Erica Jackson: "We already know what you think about the Daughters of Janus, but what do you think about Izzi Grimes?"
Kenzie Adams: "Ehh. I've seen plenty of her matches, she's tough. Would I prefer to be teaming with her tonight over Alexandria?"
She places her index finger on her chin and looks up, thinking about it.
Kenzie Adams: "Nahhh. I think I've definitely got the better partner tonight. Though I do feel kinda bad for Izzi having to team up with Minerva Janus of all people."
Kenzie smirks and begins to walk off, waving her fingers in a goodbye gesture.

The Daughters of Janus had been overly quiet these past couple of weeks, and many were wondering if Minerva was going to have words to say about the upcoming mixed tag team contest that was looming. Like Athena, and to a lesser extent Sophia, she had been largely quiet on social media in recent weeks, and rumours were abound for the reasoning. Some had said a training camp, others a holiday, more still were speaking of Rowen Kito’s recent silence and the apparent end of her career. But Minnie herself was always a mystery, and what the camera picked up was more mysterious still.
The room certainly didn’t look like anywhere backstage, a squared off room illuminated by a circle of brightly coloured lanterns, little purple flames burning away within. Between the lanterns, there was a sea of thorny, purple and crimson roses, piles upon piles of them, the thorns reaching out to the figure in the centre. Their head was surrounded, a crown of ripped leaves upon their head, and they wore what looked like a tattered and torn gown, one that once could have been a decadent cream colour yet now looked stained by vile tobacco. Despite the strange setting, and to be frank the creepy nature of it all, all seemed calm. Almost peaceful, as if the figure in the middle was in perfect relaxation.
Minerva Janus: You tried to take it from us, and the sky turned black. You thought you could deceive us, put a devil on our back. You believed we’d let it go and we wouldn’t cause a fuss, and we won’t… let… go.
Her head rose and her eyes shot open, a piercing and supernatural purple in colour, dazzling in the flaming light that seemed to dance in her gaze. A wind rustled, and two screams could be heard in the background before suddenly cutting out, and Minerva Janus stared blankly into the camera.
Minerva Janus: We’re taking what we need, and we’re run you under the bus. We are taking what we want, so be ready to adjust. We are glistening like steel, and your blade has come to rust. And we won’t… let… go.
She lolled her head to the side, Minerva performing her strange, warped poetry as she snapped her fingers. Was she alluding to the recent tournament that the Daughters of Janus had been eliminated from? Was she still sour of what happened, despite her and Athena earning their shot at the Tag titles? Nothing was ever quite clear with Minerva Janus, and nothing was today either.
Minerva Janus: You split us up as teams, the feeling simply cuts. Pair us up with people that we’ll never, ever trust. Are you hoping this will break us, and it’ll leave us in the dust. Oh, we won’t let… go.
Janus seemed to levitate for a moment, her eyes rolling into the back of her head as she did so.
Minerva Janus: We’ll never let go. Never, ever. Never, ever, ever. We will never let go of what should be ours. Ours, ours, ours.
Her eyes fixated on the camera as she readjusted, holding out a single hand to the camera. Upon her hand were the names of all those involved in the match tonight, all bar her and Athena who had been announced at ringside. Alexandria and Echo, Kenzie and Alysha, Izzi and Chloe. Each a name on the palm of her hand, each accompanied by a rough drawing of a dagger, carving into the name

BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts to the backstage area as we focus upon our newly crowned Showcase champion, Veronica Sawyer, who is sitting upon her own personalized throne. The golden throne is also covered in a plush red velvet proving that no expenses have been spared and it’s more than likely the bill has been covered by Veronica’s boyfriend, Maddux Kingcade. She sits there in all of her glory, the Showcase championship belt proudly displayed on her lap.
Her first defense is scheduled for later in the evening and at this current moment Veronica has yet to change into her ring attire. Instead she is dressed in a tight fitting dark red dress which perfectly matches the shade of lipstick she has chosen. Her lips are curled into a smile while she keeps one hand firmly up against the golden plate of her championship belt. There’s a slightly dramatic pause for effect before Veronica decides to finally start speaking.
Veronica Sawyer: What have I been saying since the very beginning? I was destined to become the Showcase champion and there was going to be absolutely nothing that I would allow to stand in my way. Least of all Danielle Page and her delusions. She’s lucky I was generous enough to indulge her for as long as I did. It was far more attention than she ever deserved in the first place and still she refuses to be humble enough to congratulate me?
Veronica feigns an expression of someone who is almost in shock, both of her hands pressed up against her chest, before she dissolves into bursts of laughter.
Veronica Sawyer: That’s enough of wading through the garbage of the past, we need to move forward, into the golden present that is my reign as the Showcase champion. One that I fully intend to start off with a bang when I successfully defend MY title against Amaya Jett. I’m nothing if not a charitable champion, giving opportunities to those who more than likely don’t deserve them in the first place, not that it’s going to matter in the end. They can be anyone on the roster across from me in the ring and I’ll still be the one with my hand raised after the bell rings. I’ll still be the one to walk away with the Showcase championship belt in my hands. Why is that, you might be wondering? It’s really quite simple. I was born and bred for this business. This has always been my destiny, to be a champion, to be successful… and now that it has finally become a reality, I’m not about to let anyone take it away from me without a fight.
Veronica pauses once more as she takes the Showcase championship belt in both of her hands so that she can hold it up, almost as if she was admiring her reflection in the golden plate.
Veronica Sawyer: Why are you here Amaya? I’ll be honest that I haven’t paid too much attention to what you’ve been doing here in High Roller Wrestling, no offense. Still it can’t be anywhere close to the same as what I’ve been putting out there to further cement my legacy. Are you going to be remembered years from now? Or are you already fading away and here tonight is your last gasp for breath to try to make it count for something? You won’t be able to use me as your stepping stone, that much I can promise you, because this is my very first defense and that means everything. It’s what sets the standard for my reign as a champion.
As she is speaking, Veronica is placing her Showcase championship belt over one of her shoulders, easing herself up from the throne in a standing position. She makes her way down the steps to walk further down the hall, her heels clicking against the floor, as she makes each step as graceful as possible. Her fingers gripping tightly onto her new prized possession.
Veronica Sawyer: I didn’t fight my way to earn this championship belt for nothing, not to lose it all in the blink of an eye, especially not to a woman that I haven’t heard one single peep from since this match was even announced. Does any of this even matter to you Amaya? Or are you going to further insult me while I keep pouring my heart and soul out there inside of the ring. This is my business after all, my world, and now we are here in the era of a champion who is going to elevate everything she touches. Starting with you. That’s right. I intend to even elevate the worth of my opponents as I humble each of them in defeat. Thank you for being the first one to step forward to lead as we sweep into the golden Showcase era of Veronica Sawyer.
Veronica makes one big sweeping gesture with her free hand while she is speaking, before she turns one corner near the end of the hall, waving to the camera to make it clear she is done for now. After all she needs to go and get changed for her match as we cut back to ringside

Alexandria Monroe with Echo Layne & Kenzie Adams with Alysha Adams vs Minerva Janus with Athena Adler & Izzi Grimes with Chloe Night
RECAP This match was a circus from the start as neither team really got along together. Eventually most of the wrestlers outside the ring started to brawl with each other and the referee had trouble keeping control. Alexandria used this to her advantage when she took off her boot again and went to clock Izzi but Chloe had gotten in the ring and grabbed the boot from her hands. Monroe threw a fit but when she turned, Grimes levels her with the Sac-Town Explosion (Claymore)! Chloe got out of the ring in time as Izzi made the cover and scored the win. We’re on the streets on Las Vegas, all it’s dirt and grit on display for everyone to see. Several people walk past the camera, followed by several more. The camera follows a group, a random person pointing from the group to a handmade sign. It’s a missing sign for Jimmy Jr up on a pole. The camera pans down to the street again, where none other than FAITHE stands below the pole.
FAITHE: Another day in Vegas, another chance to show everyone what what makes me the crimson Las Vegas fever dream. You think you know what I’m up to but you really have no idea. Two weeks ago I was kicking Jimmy in the head and sending him back to his room to cry about his stuffed goat, this week I’m fighting for a chance to see the High Roller Champion himself in the ring at the next supershow!
FAITHE takes a few darts from her pocket, tossing them up to the Jimmy Jr sign. The first two darts take out different digits on the phone number, and the third takes out an eye on the photo of Jimmy Jr. For the first time, it’s easy to see that FAITHE actually has a stack of Missing Jimmy Jr posters. She continues down the street.
FAITHE: To be honest I’m a little surprised to even be in this match. Not because I don’t think I deserve it because I know that I do, but really what I’m surprised about is that the champ already told me he was gonna give me a shot. So I’m not sure why I’m now going up against two other people for a chance to face the champ in a few weeks. Seems all turnt upside down. But if I need to pin Liam or Bianca in order to get that shot then that’s what I’ve gotta do!
She reaches another pole where a poster is placed a little closer to the ground. She rips it off the pole and adds it to the pile in her hands.
FAITHE: I’ve never had a problem with either of those two. I’ve seen Liam on Twitter of course and had a few interactions with him over the first few weeks of HRW. Then everyone knows Bianca, she’s made a name for herself in other companies and that’s undeniable. But neither of these two are here to put Vegas wrestling on the map. I’m looking for that shot one way or another.
Reaching the end of the street, FAITHE leans into the street and tosses the stack of papers into the gutter.
FAITHE: I’m gonna make sure I get to the title, just make sure you keep it nice and warm for me Jensen!
She winks, before the blackout.

Liam Vaughn (off screen) : “Bianca Reed and Faithe–two absolutely talented and lovely women.”
He walks on screen, dressed in all black like the little goth boy he is, and tips an imaginary hat towards the camera with a bend at the waist to accompany it.
Liam Vaughn: “Two exceptional opponents, might I also add. It pains me to see such high stakes at risk on the shoulders of so few–but I feel as if the honorable trio made their way, yes? Faithe has maneuvered her way about in her sneaky manner and Bianca Reed is already a household name. What am I but the outnumbered male in the matchup? And before you say–but Liam you have the upperhand–that is a fallacy. There is no advantage here. Bianca is well seasoned, Faithe is quick thinking and fast on her feet–and then there is me. The little sad boy brute mocked on the internet by many when I have done nothing but perform at the peak of my ability time and time again.”
Liam laughs and shakes his head. His hair falls over his face, and he swipes it back with a brush of his hand.
Liam Vaughn: “So much of my life has been dependent on other people–it is only now I have a true taste of freedom. My entire being rested on the idea of walking into wrestling and leveling my competition. ‘But Liam it’s everyone’s–’ fuck that! Look at me–into my eyes and see that I am not like the other boys and girls on the playground. There is a special spot in wrestling hell reserved for people like me–that is where you will find me.”
His eyes widen as he smirks and takes the camera by holding, looking into it deeply and longingly.
Liam Vaughn: “Our chemistry is magical, don’t you think? You and I, Jensen? Bianca will be the one to fear because I know she wants a piece of you–but we both know that Bianca is just a bump. If I walk out of this a loser–that will only delay the inevitable–and that is–I am coming for you and your belt.”
He purses his lips and kisses the camera then releases it from his overpowered grasp back to the hands of the crew. He turns to the shadows for his departure and eventually sight is lost.

RECAP For the majority of the match, Faithe and Biance worked together to keep Liam at bay for as best as they could. Liam kept coming back and the two finally hit a double DDT outside the ring to keep him down. But Bianca wouldn’t let her get the chance with a series of suplexes and stiff kicks of her own. Neither saw Liam climb back into the ring. He picks Faithe but and drops her with his Magnum Opus (Evenflow DDT)! He looks to lay waste to Bianca too when suddenly Jenson Idol hits the ring and levels Bianca with the HRW Championship belt!
