The scene opens up to Jade Night and Robb Hardy standing in front of a podium.
Jade Night: Tonight might be a surprise to some of you. But we have the rosters currently here in the backstage area for a special event.
Robb nodded in agreement.
Robb Hardy: That’s right! Tonight, we are having a special draft! Now, don’t be too worried, we’re not changing the entire roster but we will be mixing things up.
Jade Night: Exactly! This draft is completely random. We have no idea who is going to get who but each side will have five picks. Some picks might be a team or group, some might split groups up. We really don’t know what could happen!
Robb Hardy: This could change the entire landscape of Empire Pro and Liberty Pro. So… Let’s get started, shall we?
The screen on the video feed above Jade and Robb starts to go through pictures of everyone on the roster quickly before it lands on… EMILY CARTER DRAFTED TO LIBERTY! EMILY CARTER IS BACK!
"Who Do You Think You Are" by Spice Girls blares over the PA as the small crowd gathered here for today’s event cheers wildly! Emily Carter comes out and Jade shakes her hand. Emily then waves to the crowd, who are embracing her comeback! Jade then begins to speak.
Jade Night: What a way to kick things off!
Robb Hardy: Right? I guess it’s time to see who’s coming to Empire!
Back to the screen, we go through photos of the Liberty roster before it lands on… ANTOINETTE!? Robb Hardy is beside himself! Ant walks over to her music and the fans go nuts! Robb grins as he looks at Jade who shakes her head. Robb then shakes Ant’s hand before the next pick.
Jade Night: Here we go, time for pick two!
The screen has the randomized photos going off again when it lands on… THE INSPIRED! RICKY RODRIGUEZ! MARISOL VILARO! VANESSA AND DANIELLE PAGE!!! What a pick up for Liberty! The group comes out to the dismay of the crowd and they boo The Inspired. Marisol throws out flyers for her Vilaro system as Jade shakes all of their hands.
Robb Hardy: Well, it’s my turn now!
Back to the screen once again and it lands on… Malaya Diyosa!!! Oh wow, Life of the Party is officially over! Malaya Diyosa comes out to the cheers of the crowd but she looks sad that her team is ending.
Jade Night: Here we go! Pick three!!!
The screen shows all the Empire people and it stops on… RAYVEN HARDY! WOAH!!!! THE NOIR CHAMPION! Rayven comes out and Robb looks bummed that he lost his daughter. But Jade and Rayven are close as well and they embrace in a hug as the crowd cheers! Robb then gives Rayven a hug and tells her good luck!
Robb Hardy: Well, that’s a big loss but I’m sure I’ll get something great here.
The screen rolls through photos again until it lands on Lukas York, a man Robb is familiar with from Nightfall! Lukas comes out and he and Robb shake hands as the crowd cheers Lukas on.
Jade Night: We’ll miss him on Liberty! But let’s see who we get next because so far? Our picks have been AMAZING!
The screen rolls through again and it stops on… BRENDAN SAMUELS! THE KRAKEN!!!! Jade can’t stop smiling as Brendan makes his way out to the cheers of the crowd. The Wrestling has arrived in Liberty!
Robb Hardy: Alright, let’s get lucky here!
The screen goes through it’s randomized process again when the photo lands on Atticus Cassian with his manager, Sunday K. Love! The two come out and Atticus glares at Robb. Robb rolls his eyes and nods as the fans boo. Atti and Sunday then make their exit.
Jade Night: They won’t be missed. Anyway… For our last pick we have???
The randomizer stops on… The king of hardcore! Dylan Shepherd! He’s back on Liberty!!! He comes out with a bag of legos and starts to toss them out to the crowd, causing them to cheer! He then pulls out of his bag a… lego hand for Jade to shake? She obliges.
Robb Hardy: Our Extreme division just had a loss yes… But this last pick is going to change the landscape. I know it. I fucking know it!
Robb was hyped. This was the final pick. The randomizer went off again and then it stopped. Oh my god! The crowd gasped! Jade’s jaw dropped! Robb Hardy started to jump up and down, showing the most emotion that Empire has ever seen from him! The screen stopped on The Division! Jack Graves! Tyson Gregory! Thatcher Ray Nash! Wade Manson! WHAT A PICK UP! The four men came out to a mixed reaction. Jack with his GEW Grand Championship on his shoulder and Tyson with his Liberty in the Bank briefcase. Tyson though? He came prepared. He pulled out an Empire sticker and slapped it on the briefcase! It’s now Empire in the Bank!!! Robb shakes each man’s hand and they then leave.
Robb Hardy: Wow! That sure was something, wasn’t it, Jade?
Jade, who had a top heavy draft, still looks none too happy about losing The Division.
Jade Night: Yeah, it was. Both Liberty and Empire have changed. Will it be for the better? Time will tell. But I do believe that all of this benefits both brands.
Robb Hardy: I can’t help but agree. Thank you everyone for coming tonight! Liberation and Conquest we both return on the 20th and 21st this month! Stay tuned!
