LIBERTY PRO WRESTLING PRESENTS...
MARCH MADNESS, NIGHT ONE
MATCH ONE: LOSER LEAVES TOWN MATCH
Vitor Mata vs Romeo Black

Pre Match:
This match, which was interrupted last week by interference from Voidstar, will bring to an end the time of one of these men in Liberty Pro. Before either of the entrants can be announced Nathan Callaghan appears atop the ramp and states clearly that there is to be NO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE as hes tired of carrying both Black and Mata on his roster. Should anyone in the locker room interfere like Voidstar did last week their contract will be terminated. Nathan promises to remain on the ramp to insure his wishes are respected.
Match Notes:
With both competitors contracts on the line Mata and Black come out and surprise the crowd with their intensity. The difference is that Mata will do whatever it takes to win while Black is coloring within the lines. After a few near falls for Black, Mata takes over. Vitor smashes Romeos head into an exposed turnbuckle, leaving his opponent staggered, then keeping his back turned to the referee he slides a pair of brass knuckles from his trunks and connects flush to Romeos forehead, busting him open and knocking him unconscious. Vitor goes for the cover but pulls Romeo up by the hair after a count of two and admonishes the referee, saying hes not ready to end it just yet. What follows is a series of high impact moves designed to add insult to injury in hopes of not only ending Romeo Blacks time in Liberty but possibly his career.
As this mockery goes on and Romeo continues to bleed, Vitor calls out to Nathan, telling him he deserves respect and that he can give Nathan what he wants and what he needs from a Liberty Pro talent, ruthless aggression. The referee pleads with Vitor to make the pin but instead he shoves the referee aside and continues his assault. The ref is about to call for the bell and disqualify Mata but Nathan gets on mic and tells him that if he disqualifies Vitor hell be fired. Then Nathan laughs and tells the crowd hes enjoying this.
Suddenly the lights begin to flicker, casting a strobe-light effect over the arena. The crowd gasps as perched upon one of the turnbuckles is a masked figure with red-hued lens obscuring her eyes. Her attire covers her entire body and could best be described as Catwoman-esque. The figure launches from the turnbuckle as the lights cut out completely. Theres a thunderous thud and when the lights come back up Romeo Black is lying across the now unconscious Vitor Mata. There is no sign of the masked figure. The referee looks around in confusion before lying down and counting the pin.
Winner: Romeo Black
Finishing Move: N/A
Near Falls: Romeo Black (2), Vitor Mata (4)
Match Length: 09:23
Post Match:
Nathan Callaghan seems beside himself before tossing his mic down and storming off the stage.
BACKSTAGE
The scene opens up backstage where Lizzy Taylor is standing by with an even more determined expression on her face than the one she had just one week ago. She is already dressed in her attire and looks up at the camera with a smirk on her face, but its obvious there is something that is bothering her. Nerves? No. Far from it.
Lizzy Taylor: I know I should move on and talk about me match tonight...and possibly tomorrow night. But I cant exactly let go what happened last week. I beat Isabella clean, and then like a jealous boyfriend, Ana Hayden decided to pop into the ring and attack me. Look, I know some people are sore losers, but its usually the people that actually lost the match innit. Im sure eventually Isabella and I will face off once again...hopefully not as many times as Melissa Reeves has to battle against Becky, but you get the drift. Maybe then you can actually be part of the match instead of throwing a temper tantrum after one.
Lizzy gives a shrug before a big smile appears on her face.
Lizzy Taylor: Now then, on to tonight me lovelies. It seems I must ave impressed the boss as hes giving me this amazing opportunity after my first hurdle. I go head to head tonight against Rylee McKenzi in a table match. But not just any table match, its part of this here March Madness tournament he has going on. The winner wins a prize yet to be named. Well it could be anything. It could be a title shot. Calling the shots against an opponent of my choosing. Stabbing Cass Baumer backstage so wed finally be rid of her. The possibilities are endless!
Despite the slightly psychotic idea that popped into Lizzy's head, she remains smiling innocently.
Lizzy Taylor: Now I sure most of yas saw that happened on Twitter between me and her earlier in the week. She continued to prove to the world how dumb she is by getting into an altercation with me, all the while thinking Im Lizzie Jones. I mean, I can see her confusion. I too am very tanned, brunette with plump Angelina Jolie like lips and Jones absolutely looks like the word Taylor on the twitter. Its an easy mistake to make.
Sarcasm dripped from every word of the blondes description of herself as she stood with a proud smile on her face.
Lizzy Taylor: Now, Im actually hoping she doesnt get burned to a crisp tonight cause I for one would LOVE to slap that slag right in her slaggy face. Then I will go right on to face off against either Trey Peterson or Felix Vialpando, provided the crowd dont bring weapons that make them kill or severely injure one another. No offense loves, but yall can get a bit carried away, no what I mean? Or Avery Smith or even Emily Jackson .so long as they dont drain each other of all their blood. Again, the possibilities are endless but Ill be the one in those finals. I have each of those names in my sights, especially Rylee tonight. Headshots for all, bang bang!
With a wink, Lizzy holds her hand up like a finger gun and shoots the camera as the scene fades.
BACKSTAGE
The last couple of months had brought a lot of change to the life of Trey Peterson. Just over two months ago Trey was just another teenager running the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. Now? Well, now Trey Peterson was a professional wrestling. His career started out strong on the west coast in Pride Pro, but more recently he has brought his talents back east. Back home.
Trey stood in the large production area shifting his weight from side to side. His heart felt like it was going to beat right out of his chest. On the other side of that curtain sat a sold out house. Ready to witness the March Madness tournament. In round one Trey had drawn the card of Felix Vialpando. Trey knew tonight was going to be no easy task, but he also knew that he wasnt going to go out with a bang.
The rookie would do whatever it takes to make a lasting impact on the Liberty Pro fans. Just like he had made an impact in Seattle. Trey grabbed the bottom of his white t-shirt and brought it up to his face. Burying his eyes in the fabric Trey whispered a few words of encouragement to himself.
Its just like every other match
Do this for the doubters
Focus
Focus was hard for Trey. Because not only was he wrestling against his opponent tonight. He would also be wrestling against himself. But more importantly he was wrestling against his father. A man who never once believed in him. A man, whos memory is mostly filled with tail lights and missed visitation opportunities.
Tech: You almost ready kid?
A voice called out to Trey. He looked up at the man wearing the large black headset and nodded. At any moment now they were going to give him the cue it was his time to go. Once he stepped through the curtains the quiet and even keeled child would be gone. Once that music hit so did a switch inside the brain of Trey Peterson. Something that was able to turn off everything he was feeling, thinking, or seeing. He turned into a completely different version of himself. Someone that wanted to make his opponent pay for every time someone had wronged him. Someone that wanted to prove all of the doubters wrong.
But most important of all. Someone who wanted to create a lasting legacy in this sport.
Your time is now
Trey thought to himself as the head of the production team pointed at him. As the large black curtains parted, and Hammer Dance by Slaughterhouse hit the PA system.
Go shine
Trey told himself as he stepped out onto the ramp to a large pop from the fans in attendance. Not everyone knew he was, but that was going to change soon.
MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT
MATCH TWO: TABLES MATCH
Lizzy Taylor vs Rylee McKenzi
wrote:
Match Notes:
The match between Lizzy and Rylee started with the two circling around each other. The moment Lizzy moved towards Rylee, she slid out of the ring. Lizzy wasted no time as she sprinted towards the ropes and leaped over them, hitting Rylee with a plancha. Lizzy then went under the ring and pulled out a chair. She smacked Rylee over the back with it as she tried to get up. Lizzy then pulled a table from under the ring. Lizzy began to set the table up and this gave Rylee time to get up. Lizzy finished setting up the table and when she turned around, she was met by a huge clothesline from Rylee. Rylee picked Lizzy up and set her down onto the table before she got up onto the apron and climbed up the turnbuckle. Lizzy rolled off the table, sensing Rylee up on the top rope but she leaped off anyway and caught Lizzy with a diving clothesline.
Rylee picked Lizzy up and set her up for a powerbomb. Rylee lifted her up and Lizzy countered it into a thunderous DDT. The two lay down on the outside before Lizzy got up first. She picked up Rylee and she began to counter her by throwing elbow shots into her gut but Lizzy came back and hit McKenzi with an enziguri. Rylee dropped to her knees and Lizzy hit her with a hurricanrana driver. The fight between Lizzy and Rylee had moved closer to the announcer table so Lizzy began to dismantle the top to use it against Rylee. When Lizzy bent down to pick up Rylee, she thumbed her in the eye. Rylee got to her feet and grabbed one of the monitors from the announcer table and slammed it into Lizzys head, knocking her back and out, sending her lying down onto the announcer table.
Rylee climbed up onto the turnbuckle and made her way to the top. She looked around before deciding to leap off but Lizzy Taylor rolled off of the announcer table and Rylee went straight through it, sending its contents everywhere. Lizzy quickly retrieved a table from under the ring, knowing full well that she had to put Rylee through a table herself to be able to win the match. Lizzy then grabbed Rylee and put her on top of the table. Lizzy then climbed up the turnbuckle herself and she leaped off, hitting a frog splash that sent Rylee straight through the table. The bell rang and Lizzy was announced the winner.
Winner: Lizzy Taylor
Finishing Move: Frog Splash
Near Falls: N/A
Match Length: 10:56
Post-Match Notes:
Lizzy stumbles up from the rubble of the table and raises her hands in victory as the fans cheer on the favorite and the former Pistol. Lizzy then makes her way to the back as the referee checks on Rylee, who finally comes to and shoves the referee away. Rylee storms off to the back in anger.
BACKSTAGE
When the scene fades backstage Felix Vialpando is seen just arriving to the arena. Fans boo him as he looks down at his notepad studying over some notes before slipping them back into his pocket. He looks up annoyed but focused on his task at hand for tonight which was win this March Madness tournament he was selected to be in. As he makes his way down the hallway he is stopped abruptly by Tim Anderson.
Felix Vialpando: Dang it, Tim! Don't you see I'm trying to get to my locker room!
Tim Anderson: Yes of course but before then can I ask you a couple questions?
Felix stares hard at the backstage interviewer for a moment then lets out a groan.
Felix Vialpando: C'mon. Let's get it over with.
Tim nods excitedly.
Tim Anderson: Felix despite your rough showings these past couple shows you have yet been granted another opportunity for a prized possession that Liberty Pro has to offer. How does that feel to be announced to be taking part in the March Madness tournament.
Felix crosses his arms.
Felix Vialpando: How does it feel? How does it feel, Tim? Seriously? I feel like I'm one of those big name universities who get into the actual March Madness tournament only because of how good they are or because of their name. One of those universities that are good but probably wont make it to the championship or whatever the hell is waiting at the finish line of this tournament.
He nods to himself.
Felix Vialpando: Si, I have had a rough couple weeks. There's no doubt about that. My head...My head hasn't been where it should be. I partly blame Johnny Evil y prick Tyberius King for my recent struggles. But I too am the one to blame because I've let those imbeciles distract me and keep me from being just who the hell I am. I am a prodigy of greats damnit. I have the notes to success. I shouldn't be rotting away in this slump that I am in but I am...I shouldn't be placed in countless championship matches only to have the win snatched away from my finger tips. No. I need to pick myself up and focus. Tonight I have to change all of that and prove that I'm more than just a big name with all the skills to back it up. I have to show that Nathan got me here for a reason. I am in Liberty, for a reason.
Tim Anderson: And what is that reason, Felix?
Felix thinks for a moment.
Felix Vialpando: No matter how Nathan may feel towards me or the countless times we don't see eye to eye..I believe that he sees something in me. Sees just how great I can be for this company. I haven't pulled my weight as I should have. I haven't achieved what I should I have achieved. I'm here to help this company...this brand of CWC thrive. I want to do just that. And I will. Tonight I will beat each and every dumb dumb lollipop that comes my way in this tournament. I'm not gonna stop until I win that mystery flavor prize.
Vialpando shrugs.
Felix Vialpando: Trey might have to settle with a first round lost to the likes of me. I just hope he has the right tools to take notes and learn from it.
Tim Anderson: Do you have any idea what that prize might be that you all will be fighting for tonight?
Felix shakes his head.
Felix Vialpando: No. But does it truly even matter? Whatever the prize will be, we should all be grateful and proud for whatever it is. Now if you excuse me. I need to change and continue my studies for tonight.
Felix brushes past Tim as the scene begins to fade away.
BACKSTAGE
Honey: This place is HUGE!
Honey appears in a her little white bobble hat with a red puffer jacket on and zipped up. A black pair of jeans on and some cosy uggs. She is filming on her phone as she documents the first time she's in Boston.
Honey: And me and Coda get a fair and square shot at the Liberty Pro in this Huge Place too tomorrow!
Honey puts her beige gloves to her mouth in sheer excitement, trying to contain it. Her cheeks raised as she hides a large smile. Honey casually then sees the poster match card on the wall and runs to it, like she was seeing a cast list and where her part was.
Honey: Super Coley is in a match! And a fire match
Honey's smile goes to a haunted look at the discovery of what was on the card for tonight.
Honey: I hope Mr. Callaghan doesn't, like, make us do that! The Hell in a Cell was super painful.
She then finds a staff member walking by wearing a standard issued staff jacket but saw her Super Falcon Style t-shirt on him and smiles with glee. But she contains herself to look back at the board and points at her match on the second night.
Honey: I will bring, like, Super Falcon Style to this match. I don't want to, not lose my last ever title shot.
Honey says with a nod and closes her eyes as she gets the smell of a hotdog vendor in the building and spots him. Steaming a hotdog on a bun with some ketchup, mustard, relish, piccalilli and chopped onions. She digs into her backpack after sliding it off to find her purse and begins to walk over.
Honey: I will get Coda two and me two for the show.
MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT
MATCH THREE: FANS BRING THE WEAPONS MATCH
Trey Peterson vs Felix Vialpando
wrote:
Match Notes:
This special fans bring the weapons match begins with a mid-ring stare down between Trey and Felix. Both look over their shoulders and then make a dash towards opposite sides of the ring. Both men slide under the bottom rope and out of the ring. Each walks over to the barricade where a fan hands each of them a chair. The two now stare at each other from opposite sides outside of the ring. They both slide into the ring and charge at each other with chairs. Trey swings for the fences but Felix ducks. Felix then tries hitting Trey in the stomach with his chair, but Trey leaps into the air and over the chair shot, showing off his athleticism. The two then each hold their chairs up and freeze, giving the fans a chance to take the fast paced action in.
Trey drops his chair and tells Felix to bring it, which ends up being a mistake as this time, Felix does connect his chair to the ribs of Peterson. Felix then shouts 'consider it brought!' before hitting a high impact ddt onto the chair. Felix declines going for the cover, instead he begins stomping away at Trey who attempts to cover up but the stomps are ferocious and find their target. Trey doubles over in pain as Felix then leaps into the air and hits a leg drop. Felix picks Trey up and goes for a suplex but Trey lifts his leg to block it. Trey then hits a quick snap suplex of his own.
Trey kicks up to his feet as Felix stands up. Trey kicks at Felix, but Felix grabs his leg. Trey smirks as he leaps into the air and connects with an enziguri kick that drops Felix to a knee. Felix then crawls towards the ropes and rests his head on the middle rope but Trey wasn't slowing down. Trey ran and grabbed the top rope, spinning his legs through the ropes and kicks Felix in the face, knocking him down completely now. Trey runs to the ropes and hits a springboard moonsault, but the impact hurts himself as well as he rolls away from Felix, holding his ribs.
Felix and Trey both slide out of the ring. Felix is tossed a cheese grater from a fan. As Trey tries grabbing a wrench from a fan, he gets grabbed from behind by Felix. Felix runs the cheese grater along the forehead of Peterson. Trey screams out in pain as blood begins running down his forehead as Felix drops the grater and now grabs the wrench for himself. With blood running down his forehead, Trey stands up, only to be mowed down by a wrench to the stomach which causes him to double over in pain.
Felix looks down at Trey and then shouts at the fans 'is this your mans'? The taunting gives Trey a chance to make it to his knees. A fan tosses a barbed wire bat over the barricade right to Trey. Trey picks it up and as Felix turns around, he gets smashed in the face with the bat! The barbed wire rips the skin from his face which only increases the fans appetite for more! Trey slides Felix into the ring and slides in after him. As Felix stands up slowly, Trey hits him one more time with the barbed wire bat, dropping Vialpando. Trey then falls on him, thoroughly exhausted and makes the cover, picking up the three count.
Winner: Trey Peterson
Finishing Move: Barbed Wire Bat To The Face
Near Falls: N/A
Match Length: 13:12
Post-Match Notes:
The bell rings and Trey is announced the winner. He raises his hand in victory before walking gingerly towards the backstage area.
BACKSTAGE
Tim Anderson is seen rushing down the hall, chasing after Avery Smith. Avery, who is fully dressed in her ring attire, turns to him with a snarl.
Tim Anderson: Avery, what are your thoughts heading into your first blood match with Emily Jackson?
Avery, with a frustrated sigh, rolls her eyes at him.
Avery Smith: We were best friends. But she became boring.
Avery turned to head off, but took a few steps back beforehand.
Avery Smith: Tonight, I'm through with her. I've found a new 'bestie' to play with!
With a sarcastic chuckle, Avery does eventually make her departure. Tim is left to ponder what she meant by that as the scene fades.
BACKSTAGE
Cass Baumer sits underneath a large banner hung up on the ceiling of her locker room with the words "WELCOME BACK TO LIBERTY PRO" scribbled in blue ink across the fabric. Confetti sits at her feet colored multiple shades of blue and a chocolate cake with one large slice missing in the corner of the room. The familiar #BaumerReport ticker slides into place at the bottom of your screen to showcase the latest reports and shamelessly advertise her company.as she began to speak in her subtle kiwi accent.
Cass Baumer: Do you want to hear a joke?
The newly signed former reporter smiled deviously.
Cass Baumer: The Society.
She boisterously laughed to herself.
Cass Baumer: In my attempt at promoting tonight's matchup against Trent Grundy, I correctly stated that I would beat the society lackey in round one of the Liberty Pro March Madness Tournament for an unspecified prize at the end of the rainbow, the knowledge that it'll be an inferno match not lost on me in the slightest. And you wanna know what happened next? Despite the fact that I previously didn't have an opinion on the group who seeks to allegedly represent the disenfranchised, I was greeted with this response:
The string of tweets popped up on the screen.
Cass laughs again.
Cass Baumer: I collect empty threats like others collect stamps. I save them in a private folder and read down the list whenever I need to entertain myself. And it's hilarious to me that Becky would risk being sent to prison once again just 'cause she disagrees with my assessment. Must not have enough faith in Trent winning this match on his own. Hell, I don't blame her. Trent's been doing next to nothing since joining the group. He's like the redheaded stepchild, desperately reaching for a place at the adult's table but fuck! Maybe winning the March Madness Tournament will be just what Trent needs to finally get recognized. I mean, who knows, right? Maybe the hidden prize at the end of the tournament is an ounce of respect from Becky Balfour-Lawless that he's been so desperately craving all his life! Maybe he'll get his one and only congratulations from Mr. Nathan Callaghan himself! Too bad there's not a chance getting out of the idiot's shadow ain't gonna be the reward. That would cause him to have some self-respect and God knows that ain't a quality he possesses.
The self-professed Sensational One grins once more as she proudly speaks fluently what's on her mind.
Cass Baumer: What people fail to remember is that I'm the queen of tournaments. Not only did I win the CWC United States Championship Tournament back at the two-night event dubbed War On Christmas last December but I stood at the very top as the prize opponent to the person unlucky enough to win the FAW Hardcore Invitational tournament open to all comers as well, willing to put the Hardcore Championship on the line before I was unceremoniously dethroned in a farce of a match that nobody can remember. It was huge news in the wrestling world, people coming out of the woodwork just to get a piece of me, and instead of complaining about the unfortunate ending of my reign like everyone else would have in my same position, I gave those who wanted to fight me another opportunity to do just that! I invented the Baumer Invitational 2017 11 people in 10 matches throughout one single night who all wanted to take me down but I stood tall and held strong against the best of the best with limited experience under my belt! It was courageous and heartfelt, a night no one will be able to forget! I sacrificed my body to give the people what they wanted and the wrestling world was grateful for the experience. So this March Madness Tournament or as I like to call it, the March Madness Invitational feels like I'm home. It feels like everything is going my way here in Liberty Pro and I ain't letting Trent Grundy steal that away from me!
She tilted her head as she was done, taking a deep breath again.
Cass Baumer: I'll prove why tournaments are my specialty! I'll prove why I'm a two-time hardcore champion! I'll prove why everyone calls me The Headliner and I'm not gonna stop 'til I earned the prize in spite of every single person who's so butthurt over me even being here that it's not even funny anymore! And on a serious note...
Baumer' eyes softened. Her voice changed from boisterous and arrogant to soft and sincere while her kiwi accent sounded a little thicker than normal.
Cass Baumer: Ever since I lost the CWC United States Championship... I've fallen so quickly. All the momentum I've gained is gone. I was once one of the most talked about wrestlers in our whole community and while I might be getting the occasional threat, I feel like I need to do well in the March Madness Tournament if I want to be as recognizable as I used to be.
She shook her head and her voice grew a little sad as she continued to speak.
Cass Baumer: Trent Grundy is the one man standing in my way in round one and once I beat him... once the sparks kiss his flesh and the world watches as I proudly move on to round two... You'll all hear me. And you'll remember the name Baumer.
The Headliner's eyes intensified.
Cass Baumer: That's all that matters. So how about it? Are you ready?
With that, the ticker at the bottom of the screen popped out of its slot and the screen faded to black.
MARCH MADNESS TOURNAMENT
MATCH FOUR: FIRST BLOOD MATCH
Avery Smith vs Emily Jackson
wrote:
Match Notes:
Emily starts the match off aggressively, charging and successfully tackling Avery to the mat. Emily attempts to rip her nails into Avery's forehead as she has her mounted, but Avery grabs each hand before lifting her head from the mat, connecting with a headbutt that rocks Emily and knocks her off of Smith. Avery takes the opportunity to sit up and shake the cobwebs loose as Emily shows her resiliency by hitting a dropkick to the face of her seated opponent. Emily goes for a pin but the referee reminds her that this is a first blood match and that the only way to win is by making her opponent bleed. Emily nods but this time it's Avery who is on her feet, stalking behind Emily.
Emily turns around to a boot to the face from the 5'7'' Avery. Jackson immediately checks her forehead to see if she's bleeding, almost visibly sighing in relief to not see any on her hands. Avery pulls Emily to her feet but Emily fires away with a pair of forearms to her face, stumbling Avery back a few steps. Emily runs and hits a spinning heel kick that sends Avery crashing to the mat and then rolling to the floor. Avery slowly stumbles to her feet and Emily looks out to the fans who begin cheering for Jackson. Emily runs off the far ropes and then runs back towards the side where Avery is at on the outside. Emily jumps and flips over the top rope, crashing down onto Avery on the floor! The pair both lay on the floor in pain as the fans cheer.
Emily is first to her feet. She picks Avery up, but Avery pokes her in the eye. Avery then hits a reverse ddt on the floor before dropping down at Emily's side. She reaches out to her forehead and digs her fingertips into Emily's forehead. Emily kicks her feet trying to break free, and when Avery realizes that Emily isn't bleeding, she stops and pounds the floor with her palm. Emily pulls herself up and slaps Avery in the stomach, bending her over. Emily quickly hops to her feet and picks Avery up. Emily slams Avery face first onto the barricade at ringside, but the drop doesn't bust Avery open.
Emily mounts her and begins punching away wildly, showing a more aggressive side to herself. The swinging wildly leads to Avery moving her head to the right, causing Emily to punch the hard floor! Emily immediately grabs her hand and stands up, screaming in pain. She stumbles around, trying to push the pain out of her head when Avery rises behind her. Avery runs towards Emily and pushes her forward, sending Emily crashing face first into the ring post. Emily falls face down onto the floor and Avery shouts at the referee to check her. The referee walks towards Emily who rolls to her back. The referee calls for the bell, seeing the blood running down the face of Emily.
Winner: Avery Smith
Finishing Move: Ramming head into ring post
Near Falls: N/A
Match Length: 10:32
Post-Match Notes:
EMTs immediately run down the entrance ramp to check on Emily Jackson. Shes being looked at as Avery stood over her, screaming that this is over and that shes done with her. She shoves the EMTs out of the way and kicks Emily for good measure before the referee pulls her away. Avery shoves the referee off and glares at him. She then exits up the ramp as the fans boo.
BACKSTAGE
Nathan Callaghan is walking backstage, its clear hes upset about how the show started when Tessa Sweet catches up with him.
Tessa Sweet: Nathan, Nathan!! Can I get a word.
Nathan paused and turned around as he rolled his eyes.
Nathan Callaghan: What do you want now, Tessa?
Tessa Sweet: Well, I just want a comment on that Catwoman-like figure earlier in the night. Who is she?
Nathan grumbled.
Nathan Callaghan: I dont fucking know and she ruined my opener. Someone on security is going to get fired for this shit, I tell you that much.
Tessa Sweet: Oh? So shes not on the roster?
Nathan scoffed.
Nathan Callaghan: Do you think I would hire some wannabe superhero?
Tessa Sweet: Doesnt Brendans twitter name have Superman in it? And hasnt he worn Batman outfits here?
Nathan rolled his eyes hard.
Nathan Callaghan: Were done here. I dont care to talk about some wannabe vigilante. Have a good night, Tessa.
Nathan waved Tessa off and walked away.
Tessa Sweet: There you have it folks, once again weve gotten zero answers from Nathan Callaghan in an interview!
Tessa laughed and rolled her eyes before walking off and the scene faded out.

Tim Anderson: I am here with Honey who will team up with Coda come tomorrow night as the pair take on the reigning tag team champions of Liberty Pro, the Girls of Summer.
Honey nods and smiles bright at the thought of her tag team title shot.
Tim Anderson: But last week, you and Coda had what some would call an issue. Coda pushing you aside, what is the story on that?
Honey: Ummm, well, Coda was, like, in a fury zone last week and stuff. But she didn't go after them and came back to help me up and apologised for it. We're good friends and stuff
Tim Anderson: Aren't you worried that makes you, a push over.
Tim lightly guffaws at the pun he just made and Honey politely chortles but shakes her head.
Honey: No, because I am tough and I am still the fighting Brave Super Falcon
She pulls on her t-shirt, the Super Falcon Style design stretched into full view.
Honey: And I don't want to be in trouble or anything
Honey puts her beige gloves to her mouth in sheer excitement, trying to contain it. Her cheeks raised as she hides a large smile. Honey casually then sees the poster match card on the wall and runs to it, like she was seeing a cast list and where her part was.

MATCH FIVE: INFERNO MATCH
Trent Grundy vs Cass Baumer
wrote:
Match Notes:
The match starts off with Trent Grundy sprinting towards Cass Baumer and she runs away from him. The two run for a bit before Cass leaps up on top of the turnbuckle. Trent laughs as Cass looks around the ring thats edges are engulfed in flames. She leaps off of the turnbuckle and Trent catches her in his hands. He walks over to the flames and holds Cass down to them but she slips out of his hands before she dropkicks him in the back and he stumbles forward but his long arms catch himself with the top rope, avoiding the flames. He turns and smirks at Cass who tries to plead her case, telling Trent that she can pay him money but Trent shakes his head, he absolutely doesnt care. The two play the cat and mouse game some more before Trent catches Cass and he uses his power to control the majority of the match, hitting a plethora of moves to Cass in the middle of the ring, including a spinebuster and powerbomb.
Grundy stalks over Baumer as he lets her come to as she stumbles to her feet. When she gathers herself and her senses, she looks up at Trent and steps back in fear.Trent charges Cass and he grabs a handful of her hair, causing her eyes to open widely in shock. He drags her by her hair towards the flames but Cass does the only thing she can think of, which is to kick Trent straight in the balls. Trent drops grabs onto his nuts and keels over a bit before Cass kicks him in the nuts a second time, causing Trent to drop to his hands and knees in pain. The fans boo the creator of the Baumer report, whos now celebrating in the middle of the ring as she mocks Grundy. Trent is still on his hands and knees and Baumer ends up grabbing his head and planting him with a DDT. She then tries to drag Trent to the flames but Trent is far too heavy for Cass to do anything. She starts to kick Grundy in the side in frustration but this only infuriates the big man.
He eventually gets up and stares a hole into Cass. He then grabs her by her neck and lifts her up for a chokeslam before driving her back down into his knee. Cass crumbles to the canvas before rolling around in pain. Trent then pulls out a case of lighter fluid from his pocket and the fans start to go wild. If he pours this over Cass, those flames will be much more attracted to her body. Trent unscrews the top of the lighter fluid bottle and as he goes to pour it on Cass, she quickly rolls out of the way and gets back up to her feet. Trent laughs as he holds the bottle of lighter fluid towards Cass. Cass pleads for him to stop but Trent doesnt relent as he walks towards her, backing Cass up towards the flames.
In a panic, Cass reaches into her pocket and pulls out pepper spray, which she ends up spraying Trent in the face with. Trent drops to his knees holding his face, as hes now blinded. Cass grabs the lighter fluid from Trent and she pours it all over him. Trent, who is still blinded, tries to punch Cass in a panic but he cant see and Cass dodges every punch he throws. She keeps dodging and backing up until they are near the flames and Cass takes Trent down with a leg sweep, dropping him straight onto the flames. They immediately set him on fire and he rolls around in pain as the bell rings and Cass looks on in shock.

BACKSTAGE
The scene opens in the backstage locker rooms. Cole Gregory, dressed in his ring clothes and and a black, sleeveless Liberty shirt, sits on the bench with his face in his hands. He takes a few moment and slowly raises his head up to where his eyes perch over his fingertips. Cole slowly lowers his hands and swallows hard.
Cole Gregory: Tonight, I get to have my chance to at the Anarchy Championship again. The first time I had the chance to do it, I had my fingertips on the belt and it was just within my grasp And I left the match empty handed. Now, the champion If you would call him that, has been attacking people and tarnishing any respect that belt once had.
He slowly stands to his feet and starts to pace around the locker room a bit, getting his mind right.
Cole Gregory: But tonight, I get to take all those attacks and I get to fix them with this match. I get my chance to win the Anarchy Championship and give Liberty a champion that they can actually respect and admire. You know, a champion should draw admiration and respect but all Warren has done is pick on the little guy and bully and push his weight around since winning that championship. Its funny since being apart of the Society, they are supposed to be the voice for the voiceless and leaders for the down on their luck but all Ive seen is Warren act so much like the people he has sworn are his enemies. Whats that phrase? About how power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it?
A smile comes to Coles face now.
Thats you Warren, you have become this big bad bully but you only act that way because you know You know what its like back on the bottom. About how the rest of the Society will look at you if you lose that championship. When the EPW Tag Belts were taken away it was okay cause you had the CWC Tag belts. But what happens when you lose another title? What happens when you get knocked from this perch and youre nothing more than a face in their crowd? Do you think you can handle going back to that obscurity Warren?
He takes a deep breath and looks to the camera again.
Cole Gregory: The Anarchy Championship Will you still matter when its gone?
Cole starts to nod his head and walks out of his locker room.
BACKSTAGE
The Liberty Pro Anarchy Championship is the first thing in the shot. The light reflects off the plate in typical fashion, before panning out. It sits firmly upon the shoulder of Warren Corbett. Just as it always has. He, too, is looking down at the faceplate of his beloved championship. It continues looking for a few more seconds before looking up to the camera.
Warren Corbett: Liberty Pro, and the rest of the CWC, know exactly who made this division. They know who it belongs too. You've got to ask yourself why I'm been the only mainstay. What happened to the ones that came before?
The scene cuts away, showing Warren smashing his Anarchy Championship straight into Coda's face. Warren then picked Coda up and hit her with The Battle Ax (High impact spinebuster) before pinned her for the three count. Another cut and it's the multi-person tag team Anarchy defense. Warren again his The Battle Ax on Coda, pinning her. Warren grabbed his Anarchy Championship and stood over Coda.
Warren Corbett: I've had all sorts of matches for this championship, each defense some other stipulation. I've stayed here, as your champion, because I have always adapted to the environment I'm placed in. Whatever was put in front of me, I conquered it, as well as WHOEVER was put in front of me.
Cut - With Ashleigh Powell on the floor, Warren quickly rolled into the ring and then climbed the ladder before retrieving his Anarchy Championship and raising it in the air in victory.Cut - Warren got up and finished off the job, hitting Helena with The Battle Ax. Warren pinned Helena and got the win, retaining his championship.
Warren Corbett: I've taken this championship, and I've turned it into something greater. What it was meant to be. I represent it, and it represents me. I've always said how fitting it is that someone like me hold this championship. Each member of #TheSociety grew up in Anarchy, so of course it'd be one of us to own this division. I fully believe Becky will win tomorrow, and not only will she be the Liberty Champion, we'll still be CWC World Tag Team Champions...and I'll still be holding this one on my shoulder.
Cut - When Coda turned around, she was met by Warren Corbett, who had lifted Coda up and hit her with The Battle Ax and he put Coda through the table. Cut - Rylee slipped out and hit a reverse ddt. She tried lifting him up to put him through the table again, but he picked the chair up from the mat and hit her in the stomach. From there, Warren was able to hit his Battle Axe.
Warren Corbett: I've got the clear advantage going into this match at March Madness. Though, the most interesting thing about the people that are trying to come for the Anarchy Championship now, is that I've already beaten them...
Cut - Cole meanwhile was climbing the ladder, looking like he was about to win. He had his hands on the belt until Felix climbed up the ladder on the other end and stopped him. The two fought back and forth before Warren shoved them off of the ladder to the outside of the ring and the two crashed through tables that were set up. Warren then retrieved his Anarchy Championship. Cut - Nora then charged him but this time he swung the barbedwire 2x4 at her and connected it into Noras previously injured knee. She fell to the ground grasping it before Warren slammed the 2X4 into her upper shoulder, causing her arm to bleed and the referee called for the bell.
Warren Corbett: Now there may be some chance that they'd band together against me. Try taking me out to ensure that one of them walks away with the championship. It would probably be the smartest thing for them to do. I dare them to try! I've been through hell and back, multiple times, I practically live there. I hope the pair of you have learned the rules of Anarchy, Nora and Cole, but it's not going to help you beat me at it. This Anarchy Championship will always belong to #TheSociety!
Cut.

He puts Nora on top of it and after he does, Cole is seen sprinting up the ropes and he leaps off of them and he takes Warren out with a plancha. Nora quickly gets off of the table and she grabs Cole and puts him on it.
Trinity Locke, Coles girlfriend, jumps from the crowd and she grabs the Anarchy Championship. She charges Nora Lee and she takes Nora out with the belt to the face. The fans are going absolutely nuts at the carnage on the outside as all three competitors lie down and out. Trinity drops the belt with a grin before walking off. Warren is up to his feet and he grabs Nora and throws her into the ring. Warren gets up to his feet and Cole goes from out of nowhere to take him out with Cole-Lateral Damage (Springboard Roundhouse). Cole pins Warren but Warren kicks out right before the three count and Cole cant believe it. Cole steps back and waits for Warren to stir. When he does, Cole charges him and goes for another Cole-Lateral Damage but Warren catches him with the Battle Ax (High Impact Spinebuster). Warren pins Cole but Cole kicks out before the three count and Warren cant believe it. Warren drags Cole up towards the turnbuckle before pulling him up on it with him. Cole comes to life suddenly and the two start to battle on top of the turnbuckle before they both tumble off of it and go through the table that had been set up earlier in the match. BACKSTAGE
Cutting to the back, we're greeted by Anastasia Hayden who is pacing back and forth, looking up toward the ceiling. Still wearing her stolen sunglasses from Bronx, she stops in the center of the frame and turns her body toward the camera, still looking up, and smirking as takes the sunglasses off, looking into the lens.
Anastasia Hayden: "January 1st. Anastasia Hayden and Cosmo Cooper ushered in the New Year with a match of the year right out of the gate. We went thirty minutes, but that wasn't enough. We went sixty minutes, but that still wasn't enough. There's a reason why I'm one of the best in the world...if you want to beat me? You'll just about have to fucking kill me. And as much as I hate to say it...Cosmo Cooper is no different."
A genuine nod from Ana; a rare show of respect.
Anastasia Hayden: "Say what you want about him; call him stupid, call him an idiot, call him another dumb dudebro, but you can't ignore the fact that everywhere he's gone...he makes sure people know the name Cosmo Cooper. He's like a fucking messiah of independent wrestling. You can't throw a rock without hitting someone who knows just how good Cosmo Cooper is. So what does it say about me that I couldn't beat him, right?"
She's silent, letting any critics get their remarks in before continuing.
Anastasia Hayden: "I could make an excuses like every other spineless fuck here in Liberty, but I won't. It doesn't matter if I wrestled the day before or if I just flew in...when I step into that ring? I'm always fucking ready. When I stepped into that ring against Cosmo? I was ready. All I do in my career is get the best out of these wrestlers and that's exactly what I did with Cosmo. I helped show the world that when he says he's pretty damn good...he's right."
Ana chuckles at this and nods again.
Anastasia Hayden: "But I'm still better. And tonight? I prove that. I'm fine with Cosmo being the next best or even third place...but Anastasia Hayden is still number one. Whether it be here in Liberty, in 4CW, NJFC, or any building I walk into...I'm still the best. Even when I'm not competing, I'm still the fucking best! I don't care if I've got to go another sixty minutes with Cosmo or two hours, I'm going to beat him tonight."
No laughing here, no show of respect, just Ana's eyes narrowing as she glares into the camera.
Anastasia Hayden: "And I hope to God everyone in the back is watching. I want every single member of this roster watch me beat Cosmo Cooper. I want tonight to serve as a reminder when you open your mouth up to Anastasia Hayden...you better not fucking waste your breath trying to run me down because I'm a fucking SUPERSTAR here in Liberty. You should be bowing before me...and if you aren't already? You will be soon enough."
A sly grin from Ana.
Anastasia Hayden: "Cosmo? I'm ready. You're ready. But I guarantee you that no one out there is ready. They're not ready to watch two of the best in the world put on a clinic. They'll never reach our level because we were born with wrestling in our blood. We don't need to hype ourselves up because everyone else does it for us. We're wrestlers, not models. See, a lot of folks here in Liberty are going to be treated to a wrestling match for the first time in history. That is...if they're not too busy posting selfies on Twitter. Tonight isn't about who is over more with the Twitter marks. Tonight isn't about protecting your frail fucking ego so you don't look weak. Tonight's about who the best wrestler is."
The grin fades as she speaks and the cold glare from Ana takes its place.
Anastasia Hayden: "So let's fucking show them."
With that, Ana puts her shades back on before making her leave as the camera cuts elsewhere in the arena.
BACKSTAGE
As Cole Gregory comes through the curtain with the Anarchy Championship in his hand, he is suddenly thrust forward several steps as his girlfriend Trinity Locke jumps in his back with a loud holler, wrapping her legs around him she slaps the faceplate of the championship belt and laughs, burying her face into his neck. Cole stutter steps slightly, trying to keep his balance.
Trinity Locke: FUCK YEAH BABE, I FUCKING TOLD YOU, YOU HAD THIS! DIDNT I!? I TOLD YOU!
Cole Gregory: Hey you!
He cant help but laugh as she hangs onto his back.
Cole Gregory: I cant believe Im a champion! Its my first one in wrestling I cant, I cant believe it!
He turns a bit and kisses Trinity on the lips, laughing as hugs onto her. Suddenly a questioning look is on his face.
Cole Gregory: Wait, why are you right here? When did you leave your ringside seat?
She sighs and slips down, moving around him and shaking her head.
Trinity Locke: We can talk about that later, right now I want to see you and that belt, in the shower
She wriggles her eyebrows with a huge grin in her face.
Trinity Locke: Gonna give you a few more hellpup marks where only the belt will cover them
Coles face instantly goes red and he presses close to Trinity and looks around to see who, if anyone is listening.
Cole Gregory: Trin Thats Thats more for just us talk.
She looks at him with wide eyes and gasps before taking a deep breath and he can tell shes getting ready to shout something that would make him turn a darker red than they have a name for He quickly covers her mouth and start to pull her to his locker room.

A special treat just announced will see Cosmo Cooper vs. Ana Hayden on night one of March Madness. Cosmo comes to the ring to Lifted and the fans are happy to see him as he drops down to one knee in the center of the ring and gets some streamer treatment. Ana is out next to Chewing Glass she isnt about the fan fare for Cooper and gets into the ring. Someone throws a streamer and she catches it out of mid air and tosses it casually over her shoulder. The last time these two faced it went an hour to a draw. The fans are antsy for this one as the bell sounds.
These two know one another very well and as Cosmo rushed forward, Ana knows to keep him away with kicks. Cosmo dodges the first few as he finds an opening and goes behind Ana and easily picks her up and throws her back down. The fans pop as Ana backs away, Cosmo rushes in and flips, taking Anas legs with him and goes for a quick pinfall.

Cosmo mouths: go win that fucking belt before he rolls out of the ring and heads back up the ramp. Leaving Ana in the ring to celebrate her victory.
BACKSTAGE
The scene cut backstage to Chris Night standing in front of a camera in his locker room. He is already dressed down for his upcoming match with Riley Savell for the Gotham Championship. He looks into the camera and smiled before he began to speak.
Chris Night: Whats there to say? I could give you the whole schtick about how Im going to go in there tonight and give you all the best I can and that Im going to win but thats not what tonight is for me.
Chris shook his head and waved his finger.
Chris Night: No, tonight is going to be about putting Riley Savell to the test. She claims to be one of the best in this sport but is she? Ive seen her put in the work at my gym and I can tell you one thing, shes put enough work into the gym to be one of the best but sometimes, all that gym work doesnt translate. Its what you do in the ring that translates and Riley? Shes been doing a lot of talking and a lot of work but shes far from done. While shes had some classic matches, she still needs to prove herself, especially as a champion.
He nodded confidently.
Chris Night: And tonight? Im going to make Riley do just that as she defends that Gotham Championship against me. I wont lie down or go easy tonight. Shes going to give everything that Ive got.
Chris walked off and headed out towards the ring for his match.
BACKSTAGE
Backstage now and the camera focuses in on a locker room.Tim Anderson steps into view and is about ready to knock when the door slowly opens and out steps VOIDSTAR.
Tim instinctively takes a step back, away from The Scourge, but then finds his resolve and raises his microphone.
Tim: Voidstar...not who I was expecting to find, but since you are here may I get a word?
Void snarls and moves toward Tim.
Voidstar: Why do you people always want a word, hmm?
He nervously chuckles.
Tim: Just doing my job, sir.
Void stops and looks at the camera.
Voidstar: Fine. One question.
Tim: You face Brendan Callaghan tomorrow in a 2/3 falls contest for his Liberty Pro Trials Championship. What are your thoughts going in?
Voidstar: My thoughts?
He laughs, a deep rumble that seems to unsettle Tim more than his physical presence had.
Voidstar: You people do ask the stupidest things. I have no thoughts on this matter, only knowledge. The knowledge that I will beat Callaghan senseless tomorrow. The knowledge that I will defeat him not once but twice. The knowledge that I will take that trinket title of his and perhaps I will take him too when Im done.
He shrugs.
Voidstar: And that was your one question, were done.
Void closes the door and moves off screen. The camera focuses in on the fact that the locker room in question is Becky Balfour's and Tim is left looking puzzled as to quite what that means.

Match Notes:
Riley extends her hand to shake Chris at the start of the match, for a moment it looks as though she might be trying to pull him in, but instead she completes a clean shake. Instead stepping around the veteran and hooking him for s belly to back suplex sending Chris across the ring. Night didnt stay down though and the pair locked up, Riley all but matches him in height but not in weight, Chris uses this advantage to throw his body into her and pushes her back into the corner. He drops his shoulder and rams it into Rileys freshly
healed ribs several times until he finally pulls a grunt of pain from her, as he steps back she rams her knee up under his jaw staggering him back a few steps. Grabbing the top ropes she uses the leverage to pull up and smack him in the side of the head with a solid kick. Coming out of the corner with a spear that Chris dodges at the last second, seeing Riley run into the post instead, as she turns her goes for a jawbreaker but Riley counters into a back bodydrop.
Turning to take her knee to Chris face with a knee drop she then mounts him and lands several closed fist punches to his head, Chris gets his arms up to try and defend as the official cautions her and she eventually backs off, going to the corner to wait out her time, Chris comes up and instantly locks her back up, once again getting the advantage he sweeps her lg and takes her to the mat where he applies pressure to her ribs before pulling her into an octopus stretch, Riley groans with effort as she fights through it, for a moment it looks like she may tap but she manages to force a break in the hold.
This only seems to spur Riley on and she comes off the ropes with a bulldog, ramming him face first into the canvas she pops up to stamp on the back of his shoulders, several hard stamps land before shes forced back by the official, Chris uses this to,e to get up on his hands and knees, he moves about the ring to grab the ropes and pull himself up, Riley jumps to hang him on the ropes but Chris moves and with a duck and then push of his shoulders he sends he flying to the outside, following her with a plancha that sends them both crashing down. They both get to their feet and begin exchanging lefts and rights, Chris gets a hard one in the rocks Riley but she comes back with an elbow strike under his jaw that sends him a few steps back.
Riley then grabs his wrist and swings him into the steel steps, finally rolling back into the ring, she waits on Chris and as he tries to use the apron to stand, She baseball slides both feet square into his face, coming back out the ring she swings him into the barrier now before rolling him back in the ring. Chris tries to come back but Riley has hand enough and comes off the ropes for the unsaved stomp, she isnt done though and instead pulls Chris up only to take him back down with a buzzsaw kick, as he hits the mat she finally drops and hooks the leg for the three count.
Winner: Riley Savell
Finishing Move: Buzzsaw Kick
Near Falls: Chris Night (2), RIley Savell (2)
Match Length: 14:43
Post-Match Notes:
As the official looks to raise Rileys hand, she yanks it free and shakes her head, rolling out of the ring she disappears under the apron as Chris starts to get up. Before he can leave the ring though Riley rolls back in to a chorus of boos, in her hand is a black umbrella. She starts to twirl the umbrella around as she stalks Chris, whistling singing in the rain idly as she starts to use the end to jab at his ribs and sides. Riley chuckles and Chris tries to fend off the pokes, she call out to him, asking him if hes done.
She calls back to the last time they were in the ring together, reminding him that she and Meg made him look like a bitch, this seems to make Chris irate as he does to charge her and she socks him Very low with the umbrella, dropping him to his knees she gets in his face and laughs in it. She then rears back and smashes the umbrella over his head, shattering it into pieces, as she kicks the pieces from the ring she calls for a mic.
Riley Savell: Chris Night everyone!
As she mocks a cheer, she kicks a piece of umbrella at the downed man, shaking her head with a scoff.
Riley Savell: You know, I used to look up to you Chris, I used to look up to a lot of you so called veterans, there was a time when I honestly thought all of you were looking to pave the way for the future of this sport, for people like ME to take over.
She shakes her head now and starts to walk around Chris, growling softly as she leans down to pick up a piece of the umbrella.
Riley Savell: But Really Chris? All of you are as tired and overused as these shitty props Julian carts out to show off see, heres the thing, heres the real truth people dont want you to know. The real bad guys? The really really good ones? They dont need a fucking prop to get shit done.
She aggressively tosses the pieces down onto Chris and turns her back to him with a sneer of disgust.
Riley Savell:I love my brother, he gave me this name, something to fight for being a Savell? It already meant something and from the moment I appeared, I was constantly reminded that I was his baby sister, used as a compliment and an insult, all of you supposed pioneers couldnt wait to point it out to me, so what did I do? I TOOK it, and I made it mine, when you say Savell now, people dont think of the great wrestler my brother used to be no no no, they think of the cocky rookie who burst onto the scene and stole attention across the board.
Riley stops to adjust her hair as she addresses the camera directly with a smile.
Riley Savell: The name Savell is once again synonymous with success and that is all thanks to ME. I stepped up where he failed, I have already surpassed the examples he set, in a handful of shows I am a double champion, I have stood toe to toe with names half the people here wish they could so much as spell. I am not Julians little sister, nah, see now? Now Julian is The Riley Savells older brother the best he can hope for is recognition in training me some, I mean...Young gets most of the credit for that, but you know, Jules helped.
Riley chuckles and shakes her head.
Riley Savell: I took being the bad guy and I made it my business, I took this name and I made it mine and now? Now I am taking what it TRULY means to be a villain and I am reminding every last one of you what that is, no furs, no umbrellas, no shitty fucking masks to hide behind Nah, when I get villainous, th8ngs get explosive, LITERALLY
Go ahead and ask Kenzie what happens when you get on my villainous side, ask her how it felt to smell her own skin sizzle, just because I felt like it. Ask her how the cool steel of that knife in her back felt when Megan chose the superior option to stand beside
Anything and everything I want, I get. I will ALWAYS get what I want because unlike the rest of you fucking pathetic morons, I am willing to step up and take it. So, you have your heroes, your favorites..l the smiling fools whos T-shirts you buy at an overinflated price to show them your love and in turn, thanks to Me
Wrestling once again, has a villain.
Riley turns and spits at the canvas beside Chris with a laugh before she mic drops right on top of him, raising her hand to the chorus of boos that rain down on her. Night one of March Madness ends with that moment as it goes off of the air.
