BACKSTAGE
We cut backstage where Erica Jackson is seen standing beside none other than “The Outlaw” Jack Graves who is seated on the tailgate of his truck rolling a joint using his GEW Grand Championship as the rolling tray. Erica gives Jack a nudge to indicate that they are live but Graves really couldn’t care less and he continues what he’s doing. Erica seems a little flustered for a moment, but being the professional that she is she pulls it together quickly and looks into the camera to speak.
Erica Jackson: I’m here with GEW Grand champion Jack Graves who was initially scheduled to return to action here tonight, however rumor has it that a contractual disagreement saw him pulled from the main event before the card was announced on social media. Jack, are the rumors true? Are you and Ace having trouble coming to terms on a new contract? Or is the issue simply injury related due to the broken hand that you suffered in your Hell in a Cell match against Duke Andrews?
Jack gives Erica a smirk as he licks the gum of the paper to seal the joint before sparking it up and taking a big hit. Pushing himself up off the tailgate, Graves tosses his title over his shoulder and he takes the microphone from Erica’s hand to answer her question.
Jack Graves: My hand is fine, Erica. To tell you the truth? I was more than ready to return tonight but my contract expired after the last High Roller show and ol “Ace” is a cheap bastard who won’t pay me what I’m worth. You see this?
Jack raises the GEW gold for the camera and pats it for emphasis.
Jack Graves: This right here is a stock raiser. See, Jack Graves and the Division are a hot commodity right now but this gold? It only elevates that. I sell out venues wherever I go Erica. MWE, HOW, GEW, Liberty, Empire, MWCW, HRW, it doesn’t matter. People line up around the block to see me step through those ropes and whoop some ass and each one of those people equals dollar signs. So if I’m putting asses in seats and packing the buildings then I feel like I should be getting my cut, you feel me? Instead, Noah pays these hacks that I could stomp the dogshit out of on my worst night and he tries to have me wrestle for peanuts. So fuck him. I won’t be stepping into that ring until he offers me a contract that doesn’t make me laugh in his face.
Erica reaches out her hand to ask for the microphone and Jack stares her down for a moment before handing it over.
Erica Jackson: I don’t really feel like that’s a fair assessment of the situation. Ace can only afford to pay his roster so much and with others on iron clad contracts already it just appears that there isn’t enough wiggle room to–
Jack snatches the microphone back.
Jack Graves: Wiggle room? That ain’t MY fuckin’ problem is it? Tell him to fire one of these jobbers that he pays to go out there and stink the place up every show and pay me instead. The fact is, he wants the big guns on his show but he won’t open his wallet to pay for them. He wants me in the main event but won’t pay me main event money. Jack Danielson should be kissing my fuckin’ boots and thanking me right now because if it weren’t for this “contractual conflict” his ass would’ve been opening the show or on the midcard. Instead, Ol’ Noah had to scramble to find a replacement and all his lazy ass had to do was change the last names on the card so he went with that. The cold hard truth is that I elevate any product that I am a part of. I took this GEW championship that hadn’t been relevant in years and I made it a world championship that’s defended across multiple promotions. I’ve put on NUMEROUS five star instant classics in the short time that I’ve been in the game. Hell, you can go look at the merch tables right now and I can guarantee you that all my shit is sold out while Corey Grimes and Jack Danielson’s merch is fuckin’ untouched damn near and I’m not even on the card tonight. The only person that actually deserves to be in that main event is Bianca and with all due respect even with how tough and experienced she is? She wouldn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell if I was in that match. I’d be walking out as a double champ. But another championship just ain’t ample compensation for what I bring to the table and as much as I’d like to be out there whooping ass tonight it’s just not going to happen until I, as the kids put it, “secure the bag.”
Erica reaches for the microphone again but Jack snatches it away and glares at her.
Jack Graves: No one asked you to speak. You stand there and listen. I’m not just one of the best wrestlers in the game right now, I’m one of the best to ever do this shit. I’m a future hall of famer and a member of THE most dominant faction in wrestling history. I run this shit and the sooner you, and Ace, and everyone else realizes this the better it will be for all of you because I’m not just going to sit back with my hands out like Oliver Twist and beg for my supper. I’m going to TAKE what I want and if it eludes me? Then Ace and the rest of the HRW roster will suffer until I get what I’m owed. Fuck you. Pay me.
With that Jack drops the microphone and he flicks the lit joint at the camera before walking off out of frame to end the scene.

Earlier In The Day
The Socialites are walking into the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Vanessa is texting on her cellphone as Danielle takes her sunglasses off and looks around the backstage area.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:As unimpressive as always.
Vanessa Page:Huh?
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Where is your head at right now, V?
Vanessa Page:What? My head is in the game. I am ready for tonight. I am texting with Charity. We are planning a celebration for after the show tonight. By the end of the night Charity is going to be the new HRW Showcase Champion and we of course will be the new HRW Tag Team Champions.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:Somebody has to represent this company with some class.
Vanessa Page:Which is why we and Charity have to. It is for the benefit of HRW as a whole.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:I mean just look at the team we are facing tonight. The Mighty Downfall…
Vanessa Page:Everything about them is utterly disgusting.
“Diamond Princess” Danielle Page:I know, right?
Vanessa Page:We are here tonight to make HRW better. Soon enough we will be off to a great start. So you might as well start bowing down to people like Charity Michaels and ourselves now. It is for your own good.
The Socialites walk away.

BACKSTAGE
Chance Lopez is live backstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in front of an elaborate set.
Chance Lopez: “With me at this time… ‘Little Miss Fierce’ Pattie Pierce!”
Pattie smiles and then flashes her diamond ring
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “Actually doll, it’s Pattie Finn-Pearce. I got married during the company hiatus. But I will also answer to Pattie F’n Pearce if it suits ya.”
Chance nods and gestures.
Chance Lopez: “Wow, that is a huge rock. Congratulations. So does that mean you’re any more mellow now?”
Pattie chuckled.
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “You’d think that, wouldn’t you? Home life has definitely improved and I wear a smile on my face more often than not. But rest assured, I’m still ‘Little Miss Fierce’ inside that ring. I’m here to show everyone here that hard work and perseverance pays off, and if a little bit of anger adds fuel to the fire? So be it. One thing that doesn’t anger me is challenging for the Roulette Championship right off the bat.”
Chance Lopez: “That’s right. You’re facing the Roulette Champion Myra Rivers. And the fans have voted and have chosen hardcore rules for this particular match. Myra didn’t seem too thrilled about that. Thoughts?”
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “Look, I get it. Myra is a straight-laced straight shooter. She would’ve rather had a cage match or a 20 minute iron woman match, and I would’ve been fine with either of those too. It’s against her nature to break the rules even if the rules allow for it. She’s a veteran that’s been at it almost as long as I’ve been alive, and she’s got even more title reigns than years active which is even more impressive. She wants what’s best around here and I respect that. She fights for good causes inside and outside the ring. We have no beef other than she has what I want. Namely, the Roulette Championship.”
Chance Lopez: “So you have no qualms with using weapons and turning this into a bloody and violent undertaking?”
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “Hey, if the fans want to see it, who am I to deny them that right? My game plan is simple, I’m going to run circles around Myra and jump and bounce off of any and everything. Tire her out and run her aged batteries down to zero. I’m going to hit her with chairs and kendo sticks and put her through tables. Whatever is handy at the time. Let’s face it, she hates this scenario. I might’ve even seen a box of barbed wire being loaded into the arena earlier. Would be a damn shame if that got used, huh? Look, I’m not being nefarious. It’s all legal, Myra. I’m not being sneaky… I’m telling you exactly what’s headed your way. To put it simply: Ferocity.”
Chance Lopez: “You talk a big game, but what if the champion somehow retains?”
She rubbed her chin in thought for a moment.
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “I guess if that were to happen I’d do the dignified honorable thing and shake her hand… if I was still conscious. And I’d hope she’d do the same if the tables were turned. And if she didn’t? Well, I might snap. Nobody wants to see that, do they?
She took the microphone and got in close to the camera.
Pattie Finn-Pearce: “DO THEY?”
She shoved the camera away as the segment ended in static.

MATCH ONE: High Roller Tag Team Championships:
The Mighty Nightfall (Chloe Night & Izzi Grimes) © vs The Socialites (Vanessa Page & ”Diamond Princess” Danielle Page)
The Mighty Nightfall (Chloe Night & Izzi Grimes) © vs The Socialites (Vanessa Page & ”Diamond Princess” Danielle Page)
RECAP The Socialites attacked Nightfall before the bell and were able to quickly separate Chloe from her partner and keep working her over. Vanessa and Danielle used quick tags and less than honorable moves to keep Chloe down in their corner. But a well placed superkick allowed Chloe to crawl over and make the hot tag to Izzi who came in with a flurry of strikes that eventually cleared the ring of the Socialites. But Izzi wasn’t done as she hit the far ropes, came back and flew out of the ring, taking out both Pages. But the rush was short lived as some more dirty tactics put The Socialites back in control. However, when Vanessa went for the Empire State of Mind (Canadian Destroyer), Izzi made a blind tag and was able to connect with the Sac-Town Explosion (Claymore) for the win. WINNER The Mighty Nightfall (Chloe Night & Izzi Grimes) MATCH ANALYSIS Vanessa and Danielle kept pace with the champs for the entirety of the match and on a few occasions looked to be the team to upend them. The heart and determination to battle through the adversity they started the match out with just shows exactly why Izzi and Chloe are the champions of the tag division. |
RINGSIDE
The bell rings out loud as the fans rise to their feet, cheering on the victorious Tag Team Champions on a successful championship defense in the show opener. Chloe and Izzi hugged in the middle of the ring as The Socialites rolled out and away, cleared pissed that they couldn’t take advantage of this huge opportunity. The Mighty Nightfall were handed their championship belts, overjoyed that they had started strongly in the new era of High Roller Wrestling, and the audience were cheering loudly as this new start for HRW started in the strongest possible fashion. But just as the cheers reached fever pitch, nightfall fell on The Mighty Nightfall, as the lights went out. There was a collective gasp from the fans, followed by a very eerie silence, which was only broken by the sounds of bangs and thuds, coupled with a deathly scream that could have come from a banshee. A single light flared up, dancing and prancing around the ring as spooky, odd music seemed to echo out from the P.A. System. As the camera seemed to zoom in on this travelling light, the figure holding it raised it to their face, revealing a raven haired beauty smiling into it.
It was Sophia Janus?
As she smiled, the lights slowly came back on, revealing CHloe and Izzi knelt down in the centre of the ring, looking worse for wear and dazed. Standing behind them was Twin Tragic themselves, the shocking sisters known as the Daughters of Janus! Athena stood begin Izzi, a cocky grin upon her face, whilst Minerva was lurching behind Chloe, a look of madness painted on her features. The pair then charged them, nailing them both in the back of the head with duelling Shining Wisdom knee strikes, knocking the champions clean out. There were boos echoing around the arena for the return of the multi-time Tag Champs, who were certainly not expected here, and even less wanted. The jeers became louder as the pair raised the championship belts above their heads, signalling their intentions for all to see as the hisses came from the crowd. But then, in a moment, the lights went out once more, and when they came back on, all three of the Daughters were gone, and The Mighty Nightfall were completely laid out, their belts left upon them as everyone looked on concerned.
BACKSTAGE
The show cuts to Myra Rivers, the HRW Roulette Champion, backstage as she holds her championship. This is the first time since the week after she won it that she’s actually been seen with the championship but even then, she’s not letting this get to her. She seems to have some things on her mind as she begins to speak.
Myra Rivers: First off, it’s great to be back here. I never lost faith in this company. Some on the roster… or rather, those that USED to be on the roster… well, that’s on them for deciding to walk away. BUT, I’m back and as you can see, I happen to have the Roulette Championship back. I never lost it in the ring. Hell, as much as I hate to say it, this happens to be the first time that I’ve actually defended this largely due to the hiatus and all of that. I will get more into that, but I do want to explain how I recovered this championship. That’s a funny story in fact…
Myra takes a bit of a pause as she has a bit of a laugh to herself.
Myra Rivers: The short version is that I tracked the bitch down… what was her name again? Skye Summers? Summer Skye? She was one of those that decided to move on and not be part of the roster anymore and she thought that she was going to get to keep the belt. Nope. That didn’t happen. So, getting the belt back was step one. But step two is finally getting to defend this thing and here’s where I am going to be honest: if this entire wait just to be in an HRW ring again… if this entire frustration with having this belt stolen from me and going through the trouble that I did to regain possession of it… if it ends with me losing the title tonight?
It’s going to be a HUGE disappointment for me personally.
Myra gets a little bit sentimental as she pauses to think about what she had to go through just to even win the title that she has to begin with.
Myra Rivers: Add on the fact that I’m facing a brutally tough competitor in Pattie Finn-Pierce who comes in with a pretty strong pedigree when you consider who she’s married to and when you consider that this is a hardcore match, a match that is obviously not in my wheelhouse, then the odds may not seem so great. But of course, I am the same person that made a career out of a freaking ladder match so I know in my heart I am not to be counted out.
This isn’t going to be a coming out party for you Pattie, I am not going to sugar coat that. This match may not be the stipulation that I wanted and sure, it’s frustrating that these Roulette title polls for the most part have been the bane of my time in this company, but I’ve always made the best out of what it seemingly a difficult situation and that’s exactly what I will do tonight. I’ve won championships in some brutal matches over my career. I’ve been at this a long time. I’ve been through cage matches, cell matches, matches that have had me losing a hell of a lot of blood for better or worse, but I still continue to come back stronger and right now, I am definitely at the top of my game.
I expect you to be at yours but I know you’re going to be looking at this match and thinking that this kind of match might favor you. You’re going to come in thinking that with this kind of match, you’re going to have this in the bag. I know you have shown a tendency at times to be overconfident and to be too cocky for you brown good but if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the many years that I’ve done this is that nothing is ever a sure thing in this business. I was in a horrible situation myself in my career at one point, dealing with a lot of bullshit when I wrestled for another promotion based in this city 12 months ago.
I had the worst hand that could’ve possibly been dealt to me: a place I didn’t want to be in anymore, back against the corner with the ceiling of my career supposedly hanging above me, and knowing that I was never going to have the appreciation that I had earned no matter what I did. But, I flipped that luck around and I ended up turning everything around and showing those people what they’ve missed out on as I’ve achieved the greatest 12 month stretch of my career.
You’re NOT bringing that to a halt tonight, Pattie. As I did before, I flipped rotten luck around to attain the brightest glory I can get… and when I retain this? That’s exactly what I am going to do again!
Myra is fired up, and now she’s got her confidence going, as she makes her exit from the locker room.

MATCH TWO: Roulette Championship:
Myra Rivers © Pattie Finn-Pearce
Myra Rivers © Pattie Finn-Pearce
RECAP With the fan pole deciding that the match be hardcore rules, the outside of the ring had various weaponry laid out. Chairs, tables, kendo sticks and even trash cans are out there for Myra or Pattie to use. The match starts in the ring though where Pattie uses her power advantage to toss Myra around a bit, eventually putting the champ in the corner and hitting some knife edge chops with some taunting included. This just livens up Myra who reverses it and gives Pattie some chops back. Myra looks for a tornado DDT but Pattie is still too strong and halts the move and tosses Myra over the top ropes. But Rivers hangs on and lands on the apron of the ring. Pattie charges in only to have Myra low bridge the ropes and send Pattie out to the arena floor. Once outside the ring, Myra gets a kendo stick and cracks it over the back of Pattie. She follows it up with a second and then a third but all this does is seem to enrage Pattie. Myra goes for another kendo strike but Pattie grabs the stick and breaks it over her knee. Rivers wisely takes off for a new weapon and Pattie gives chase. Rivers is able to spray a fire extinguisher in the face of Pattie, stunning her, and then goes for a headscissors but Pattie keeps ahold of Myra, lifts her up and powerslams her through a table on the outside! Pattie pulls Myra up and rolls her into the ring but can only give a near fall. Pattie looks to put the champ away with her Maximum Overdrive (Pop Up Flip Piledriver), however River slips away and is able to connect with the Spirit Breaker (Corkscrew Neckbreaker)! She drapes an arm on Pattie but Pattie is just able to kick out. Myra is able to get to her feet first and somehow hits a second Spirit Breaker, this time on a chair for the win. WINNER Myra Rivers MATCH ANALYSIS What a reintroduction to Pattie for the fans as she showed how scary powerful she is in that ring. Myra proved how crafty and adaptable she is with the Roulette Championship random match stipulations, even in matches she dislikes like hardcore rules. |

The scene opens to a curtain glimmering in the frame as it waves with a slight wind as bold letters in a bright colored font appear before a voice over begins to accompany the messaging.
“Las Vegas needed another show girl. . . And now they’ve got one”
As the curtain continues to sway with this light wind the curtails of it show a red color slowly creeping in encompassing the bottom of it though it still glimmered and sparkled, changing hues from the dark color it was before to the brightest red.
“aquí viene la demonia”
As the curtain finally draws the image captures a smoky backdrop encompassed by a young Hispanic woman, long dark hair with jade colored eyes, a smile on her face as she is enveloped by the smoke before she steps forward the same smile on her face, sparkling from head to toe as she licks her lips.
Juliana Rodriguez: “High Roller Wrestling, big bets, high stakes, a club of over zealous individuals who are ready to risk it all for the smallest of rewards.”
She smirks as she crosses her arms, one hand coming to her chin as she smiles brighter.
Juliana Rodriguez: “sounds perfect!”
She motions before dropping her arms and speaking further.
Juliana Rodriguez: “I obviously need no introduction to fans who’ve seen my work whether it be from Valiant Or Borderline Wrestling, but for those who need a refresher or simply need to invigorate their palettes, I am Juliana Rodriguez, some may know my Uncle Demonio Imperial and I am the Demonia with no mask, what you see here is exactly what you get, luchadora, hardcore, and ready to kick ass! Add on a splash of international stardom and you get close to the ingredients that shape yours truly. As for my opponents this evening All I can do is wish you the best of luck because by the end of it you will see what it feels like to be dripping in Jewels.”
She offered a wink to them as the camera slowly backed away her smile never disappearing.

Finally High Rollers were back! Charity home away from home the place that needed her. Charity was getting a well deserved opportunity against the Showcase Championship Veronica Sawyer. Charity wasn't looking to leave empty handed the showcase title would be hers. The self proclaimed entitled queen Charity Michaels was standing backstage with the newest backstage interviewer Roxanee. All the others sucked before she came along.
ROXANNE -
Ladies and gentlemen please welcome Charity Michaels.
Charity would step into front of the camera her husband was standing beside her. She had a smile on her face. She was happy because high rollers was back. But also because some trash took itself out. Charity couldn't wait to go out there and take the showcase championship from Veronica.
CHARITY MICHAELS-
Roxanne let me be the first to say welcome. I hope you stick around. Anyways tonight I Make history. It's my night to claim what's mine. I should have been champion a long time ago but unfortunately a little bump happened. But that's okay what better time than now. I will be the Showcase champion.
Charity was really confident. No matter what she would always give it her all. At the end of the night she knows her hand will be the one held up high raising her championship.
CHARITY MICHAELS-
I'm the only one that can save HRW from failing. They need me to give them some ratings. Veronica is a boring champion. I tried to read her social media and the screen went black. That's because she's not interesting like me who when you click my twitter I have gorgeous pictures of myself and my hot as hell husband. I also have a beautiful Championship from my other place of work. I can't wait to add Veronica to my list of people who gave to charity. I'll be 2 belt charity real soon. Everyone give 2 charity you won't be disappointed -winks-
Charity had a big smile on her face. She would do a little twirl before her and her husband would walk away down the hall.

Chloe Night: “Fucking bitches!”
The voice, heavy with hatred and frustration, is that of Chloe Night. The tag team champion is sitting on an exam table in the medical bay, getting checked on after the vicious attack suffered at the hands of the Daughter Of Janus. Sitting next to her is her tag partner and best friend Izzi Grimes who, just like Chloe, is getting a light pen pointed to her eyes as part of the routine checks.
Chloe Night: “I thought the pits of hell had swallowed those two fiends but apparently they cannot stand them either and they send them back up here.. Fucking creepy Shining twins!”
Izzi takes a deep breath and exhales slowly before shaking her head.
Izzi Grimes: “It is what it is. Only cowards do what they did tonight and it’s because they’re jealous. Jealous of us being the premier tag team in High Roller. We’ve dominated everyone and everything thrown at us, while the Janus idiots fall short every damn time.”
Izzi reaches over and rubs her tag partner’s back gently,
Izzi Grimes: “Don’t let this get to you. They got one over on us once but now? Now we’re prepared and ready. And when it’s all said and done? We’ll prove that we’re the better team and we’ll do it where it counts… in the ring.”
Chloe nods and lets out a long sigh.
Chloe Night: “You’re right… I’m still upset about what happened to Chris, and Gloria. I’m sick and tired of bastards jumping people from behind. Never once we turned down a fight, we’re not the tag team who packed their shit and ran away when things got tough. We took on every team in HRW, we BEAT every team in HRW… Y’all want a fight with us? Just fucking ask, we’ll gladly put your scrawny asses in the dirt, where they belong.”
She said those words looking straight in the camera, addressing directly the sisters as well as every other team in the company. Izzi looked directly into the camera as she nodded in agreement, supporting her partner.
Izzi Grimes: “Everyone wants to see Nightfall fail. Not just us two, but where we come from, our whole wrestling family… We’re targets right now. But you know what? Bring it on. Bring everything that you’ve got because guess what? We won’t be going anywhere. You can sneak attack us, you can play dirty and hell, you can even injure us but the fact remains… we will keep getting up, we will keep fighting back and most of all? We will keep winning!”
Chloe grabs her title belt and holds it in front of the camera, so close to it that you can appreciate the smallest details of the golden decorations.
Chloe Night: “Take a good look at these, Athena and Minerva. Watch them, take in every frill, every detail. Because I’m telling you, this is the closest you’ll ever get to OUR titles.

MATCH THREE: Winner Gets Showcase Championship Opportunity:
Jimmy Powers vs Juliana Rodriguez vs Viola Mancini
Jimmy Powers vs Juliana Rodriguez vs Viola Mancini
RECAP When the bell sounds, Viola slides out of the ring and encourages Jimmy and Juliana to start the match. They look to do that but suddenly Juliana hits the ropes and goes flying out of the ring and takes out Viola with a dive! Powers looks around in a bit of shock and that’s all Juliana needs to get back in the ring and quickly drop Powers with Dripping in Jewels (Running Front Flip DDT)! She makes the cover but Viola breaks up the pin before Juliana can end the match early. Viola stomps away on Juliana before tossing her out of the ring and trying to cover Jimmy. But Juliana hangs onto the ropes and then uses them to springboard in with an elbow drop! Viola is aware enough to move and let Jimmy eat the elbow before locking up with Juliana again. Viola uses a Snapmare and Low Dropkick to try to slow down Juliana, working on her neck after getting her on the canvas. She drives several elbows into Juliana’s neck before Powers comes back in with a Roaring Elbow to the back of Viola’s head but she kicks out. Powers looks for The Goatest Move (Pedigree) on Viola but Juliana spins him around and connects with another Dripping in Jewels (Running Front Flip DDT) for the win! WINNER Juliana Rodriguez MATCH ANALYSIS Juliana had a very impressive HRW debut and getting the win gets her a Showcase Championship match. Viola was impressive as well and you have to wonder if Jimmy wasn’t in the match if she could have gotten the win. Jimmy was entertaining as always. |

We cut backstage to Corey Grimes standing backstage, a confident look on his face.
Corey Grimes: Tonight is one of the biggest nights of my career. I get a shot at the High Roller Championship against three of the best in High Roller. Quite the debut, huh?
He laughed lightly and shook his head.
Corey Grimes: I’ve heard the whispers though. That I don’t deserve this because I just signed here. That I’m being unfairly shot to the top. But you’re wrong if you think that. I’ve earned every damn thing I’ve ever gotten in this business. I built my own name, not off my cousin’s name or anything else. I did it on my own.
He pointed at himself.
Corey Grimes: Nobody can take that from me. Nobody can take from me that I’ve won championships everywhere that I’ve gone. I’ve won all of 'em you can think of too. I’ve been the top guy, the second tier champion guy, the TV Champ guy and even a tag champ guy. I’ve been there, done that but I’m still hungry. I’m still on that grind to be the best. I never settle, nah, you’ll get 110% of me.
Corey stepped closer to the camera.
Corey Grimes: It’s what I do. That being said? I can’t take anything away from Faithe, Bianca Reed or Jack Danielson. They’re all worthy in their own right to be in this match. Hell, they’re all worthy of being the top champ here too. They have integrity and they’ve all fought for what they’ve got. They don’t complain, they don’t make excuses and they don’t make demands, which I respect.
He nodded again.
Corey Grimes: That’s the kind of champion this place needs. Not some Division asshole. That poison has been spreading everywhere, even here with Jack Graves being here. Or is he? I mean, dude is refusing to fight until he gets a bigger contract. What? Isn’t daddy Julian paying you enough already? Or is that all you’re in it for? The money? It’s people like you and The Division that are the problem with this sport and I’m glad none of you are in the main event to ruin it. Nah, it’s just four great competitors, ready to put it all on the line the right way out there. We’re all going to do this the right way. And as for me?
He leaned close as he smirked.
Corey Grimes: I’m going to do it the Nightfall way. Because all we do is win.
He walked past the camera and the scene cut away.

BACKSTAGE
It had been quite some time, but nobody in Las Vegas would be able to mistake the red tangled mane that comes into view. It’s none other than FAITHE. Her right hand comes up and shakes her fire locks, a smile spreading across her face as she notices the camera.
FAITHE: It’s good to be back here in High Roller…
She sighes, gazing up into the sun through her dark sunglasses. She found her left hand into the front pocket of her overcoat, pulling out a pack of cigarettes. She slammed it against her open palm as she spoke.
FAITHE: When I got back into the business, I knew that Las Vegas was the place for me. I made it my home. High Roller Wrestling has been everything to me because it gave me the push I needed to give this industry my all. So much has changed for me in the last year, and now I belong to a trustworthy and loyal wrestling crew in Nightfall. I was a bit of a street brawler before, but working with experienced technicians has morphed me into a better competitor.
She takes a single stick from the pack, placing it into her mouth. A moment later there was a small flame emanating from a lighter in her hand.
FAITHE: I’ve had this High Roller Championship match hanging in the balance for some time now. I’ve been the longest number one contender in the history of HRW probably. I thought I was ready to be champion before, but boy was I wrong. If I had gone up against my previous opponent who knows what would’ve happened. I think I could’ve won, but being a champion…I don’t know if I was ready that. Not like I’m ready now. My journey set out here in HRW, it’s only fitting that I continue that story as champion for this upcoming season.
She took a few more drags before continuing.
FAITHE: I’ve fought for this championship before…multiple times, in fact. I was even the opponent when the High Roller Champion defended at House of Wrestling. It’s slipped through my fingers but and still, destiny tries to thwart me again.
The Las Vegas Fever Dream shook her head from side to side, taking a couple more drags.
FAITHE: I’ve gone from a one-on-one match against someone I’ve prepared for, to now being up against three other competitors. I have to admit that I feel a bit strange here. Is this some ploy to make sure the Las Vegas Fever Dream doesn’t take the High Roller Championship? I’m not sure what management has planned this time around, but no matter what’s being thrown at me - one person, three people, one hundred - I’m going to take them all on, and I’m going to make sure I’m the one standing at the end. I owe it to everyone here in the MGM Grand watching, and everyone who has ever watched HRW. High Roller Wrestling deserves a champion they can believe in.
Taking what was left of the cancer stick, she stamps it out into the brick wall behind her. As she turned back to the camera in front of her, she slipped her sunglasses off her face and into her opposite jack pocket.
FAITHE: Have FAITHE…I WILL be that champion!
A confident nod to the High Roller audience, and we fade out. FAITHE would finally get the championship match she’d been waiting for, she was ready.

Veronica Sawyer © vs Charity Michaels with Andrew Michaels
Veronica Sawyer © vs Charity Michaels with Andrew Michaels
RECAP When the match started, Veronica was very cerebral with her gameplan but Charity did everything she could to try to throw her off. She kept sliding between the ropes to force breaks and demanded the official check Veronica for hidden weapons. A thumb to the eye and then yank of the hair, Charity was in charge as she stomped away on the champion. She hit a springboard arm drag and followed it up with a big DDT but only got a two count. Charity keeps the pressure on with a big bicycle kick but when she went for another one, Sawyer was ready and took out Charity’s other leg with a chop block. She hooked Charity in a single leg crab and caused more damage to the knee until Charity got on the ropes. She pulled herself out of the ring after the break but Veronica was quick to follow her out of the ring. Andrew Michaels, Charity’s husband got between the two competitors and even tried to demand Sawyer just get back in the ring. Veronica returned his yelling with a dropkick to his knee that dropped him down and then a snap DDT onto the arena floor. Charity tried to jump on Veronica but she was quick to toss Charity into the side of the ring. Sawyer drives Charity back first into the ring a couple of times before rolling her back into the ring and only getting a near fall. Veronica and Charity exchange points of momentum until Andrew Michaels got on the apron to yell at Veronica again. She turned her attention to him and blasted him off the apron, this opened up the window for Charity to hit the Beautiful Disaster (Running Curb Stomp) for the win. WINNER Charity Michaels (New Champion) MATCH ANALYSIS The 331 day reign as Showcase Champion for Veronica has come to the end with some not so fair involvement but still one of, if not the most impressive reign in HRW history. For Charity she finally gets the championship she’s felt she was due for a while now. With Juilana Rodriguez winning an opportunity at the title, how long will Charity have to celebrate and savor this win? |

The MGM Grand is buzzing with the sounds of wrestling fans for the first time in months as High Roller Wrestling returns. Drunkard and Wrestling Extraordinaire, Jack Danielson, is double-fisting cases of beer as he walks up to the talent entrance to properly “celebrate” this joyous return. Jack throws his arms into the air, bringing the cases up over his head, as he kicks the door and shouts out…
Jack Danielson: “LET’S GET READY TO GET FUCK U-”
A security guard throws his arm in front of Jack to stop him.
Security Guard: “Authorized Personnel Only. Fans enter through the main entrance at the front.”
Jack raises an eyebrow at the guard and laughs.
Jack Danielson: “I am authorized personnel, bub. I’M THE FUCKING YEE YEE MACHINE!!! So just let me throu-”
Again Jack gets side-armed by the security guard.
Security Guard: “You don’t look like a wrestler, so I’m gonna need to see some form of identification.”
Jack Danielson: “Yea, I gotcha, bub. Here’s my ID for ya!”
Jack sets a case of beer down, opens the other, and hands the security guard a beer. The security guard looks confused and rolls his eyes at Jack.
Security Guard: “Sir, fans enter through the main entr-”
Jack spins the can around to reveal his new “Jack-Lite” beers made specifically for this event. The security guard still looks unamused by the situation.
Security Guard: “Sir, fans enter through the main entr-”
Jack snatches the beer out of the security guard’s hand and cracks it open.
Jack Danielson: “BITCH, I AM A WRESTLER!!! JUST LET ME THE FUCK THROU-”
Jack tries barging through the guard, but the Security Guard bows up and stops Jack from entering still.
Security Guard: “Sir, fans enter through the main entr-”
Jack finishes his beer and throws it at the security guard.
Jack Danielson: “MOTHER FUCKER CALL ME A FAN ONE MORE TIME!!!”
As Jack stews and drinks another beer, some stage crew come through rolling Jack’s mobile bar, “The Off Ramp”. Jack says high to the crew and they tell Jack they’ll take good care of the bar for him. Thinking this was enough for him to get the okay to enter, he starts to head through the door too, but again the security guard blocks him.
Security Guard: “Sir, f-”
Jack Danielson: “FINISH THAT FUCKING SENTENCE AND I’LL END YOUR ASS!!!”
Jack and the security guard stare at each other as Jack finishes another beer and again throws the can at him. When the tension starts to sizzle out, Jack takes a deep breath. Taking a few tips from Bluey and his daughters, he counts to ten and opens a beer. He attempts to reason with the security guard one last time.
Jack Danielson: “Look, I know I don’t ‘look’ like a wrestler. I’m in the main event for the High Roller Championship, and I’m sure I’m the only one having issues with getting into the fucking building, DESPITE HAVING WRESTLED HERE MULTIPLE TIMES!!!”
Another swig of beer and another deep breath.
Jack Danielson: “Corey, Faithe, and Bianca are names known around the world, but I’m not. They look the part of a world champion, but I don’t. I get it. I FUCKING GET IT. But here’s the thing, Mr. ‘I take my job way too serious’ Security Guard…”
Jack chugs his beer and cracks another.
Jack Danielson: “THAT’S MY FUCKING BREAD AND BUTTER!!!”
Starting to look like Popeye on Spinach, Jack flexes.
Jack Danielson: “The first ever High Roller Roulette Champion, Longest reigning of the inaugural HRDUb champions, 7-time tag team champion, and 8-time singles champion. I’m just as decorated as the rest of them fuckers. I’ve wrestled all over the world, and it’s about damn time I get my fucking flowers because I’m just as fucking bad as those other three.”
Jack finishes his beer and once again throws it at the security guard again.
Jack Danielson: “So you can try to keep me out of the building. You can try to count me out of the main event. You can try to put me down… BUT THE YEE YEE MACHINE IS GONNA KEEP CHUGGING AND I AM GOING TO BE HIGH ROLLER CHAMPION AT THE END OF THE NIGHT!!!
Jack takes two beers and bashes them over himself as he tries to consume as much alcohol as possible in one go. He throws the cans on the ground and is heaving from all the yelling. He looks at the security guard, but the guard doesn’t budge. Jack’s face drops and now he looks like he might cry.
Security Guard: “Sir, your name isn’t on the list. Your… speech… was great, but there’s nobody named The Yee Yee Machine on the list. So I cannot let you in. Call your promoter and see he if he can vouch for you.”
Jack pats his pockets trying to find his phone while nursing a new beer, but suddenly he stops. He looks at the security guard with confusion.
Jack Danielson: “What did you say my name was?”
Security Guard: “The Yee Yee Machine. It’s what you’ve been calling yourself since you arrived.”
Jack palms his face with his beer can as he looks at the guard.
Jack Danielson: “MOTHER FUCKER, MY NAME IS JACK DANIELSON!!! IT WAS ON MY FUCKING CAN!!! THAT’S WHY MY JACK LITE’S ARE MY ID!!! YOU…YOU… YOU…”
Jack looks like he could kill the guard, but he knows part of the blame is his own. He takes a big chug of his beer.
Jack Danielson: “Check for Jack Danielson on the list…”
The security guard looks at his list and nods.
Security Guard: “Yup, you’re on here Mr. Danielson.”
The guard opens the door and Jack smiles. He finishes his beer and throws it at the security guard, though this time he apologizes before opening another beer can and grabbing his cases.
Jack Danielson: “THANK GOD!!!”
Jack starts to walk through, but again the security guard throws an arm up. Jack looks like he could kill the guard.
Security Guard: “Good luck with your match tonight, Mr. Danielson. I know what it’s like to be told that you aren’t who you say you are. I hope you win it all!”
Jack smirks and hands the guard a beer. As Jack disappears behind the door to go win himself a title, two big burly security guards come walking up to the guard at the door.
Security Officer 1: “Gary, how many times do we have to tell you that you aren’t allowed back here.”
Security Officer 2: “Yea Gar. You know we love you, but you aren’t even supposed to be on the property, let alone pretending to be security. Get back to the soup kitchen before you get anyone in trouble.”
The “security guard” pulls off his shirt and spins it around his head. He takes a drink and starts screaming like he’s a Curly from the Three Stooges. The actual security officers just shake their heads.
Security Officer 1: “Oh, Crazy Gary!”
Security Officer 2: “I hope that nut didn’t cause anyone any problems.”

BACKSTAGE
The camera cuts to the backstage area and we are immediately focused upon the now former Showcase champion, Veronica Sawyer, as she stands there with a perfectly blank expression on her face. She is still dressed in her ring gear as she holds a bottle of water in one hand. She appears to be deep in thought as she clears her throat, switching the bottle between hands.
Veronica Sawyer: There’s just one thing I need to say first. You’re welcome High Roller Wrestling, I was the one who elevated the Showcase championship well beyond the original intention, well beyond any other championship in this company. I was such a worthy and desirable champion that there was talent from outside companies who would come sniffing around and begging for a shot at MY title.
There’s a slight pause as a smirk tugs at the corners of her mouth.
Veronica Sawyer: Could the former High Roller Wrestling champion say that before she took her ball and went running off? Or should I say limping off to be more accurate. I was the champion who carried this company on her back and I’m afraid that no other Showcase champion is going to be able to come close to matching what I was able to accomplish. Good luck there sweetheart. You’re definitely going to need it trying to get out from under my shadow.
Veronica laughs as she motions with one index finger for the camera to zoom in closer on her face, almost as if she had an urgent secret she was desperate to share. There’s another pause as she takes a drink from her bottle of water, clearly savoring the moment.
Veronica Sawyer: As for now? I’m looking towards the future for myself and I think the best place for me to start looking is right here tonight in the main event. We have four people who will all be scrambling to prove themselves worthy of becoming the brand new High Roller Wrestling champion and I want to be right there to make one thing perfectly clear.
Veronica raises one eyebrow as the smirk returns to her lips.
Veronica Sawyer: The best thing for you to be doing is to watch your back very carefully because I have every intention of setting my goals upon one thing and that’s the High Roller Wrestling championship. Imagine what a Goddess can do with the biggest gold in the company? Imagine the level I can elevate this entire company as the top champion. Now that I believe is a future that everyone wants to be a part of, wouldn’t you agree?
A small giggle follows her question as Veronica brings the palm of her hand up to her lips and blows a quick kiss towards the camera. She follows this with a playful wink before she turns on her heels and walks away while the scene cuts out.

Jack Danielson vs Corey Grimes vs Bianca Reed vs Faithe
RECAP When the bell sounds, Jack and Corey start to exchange blows while Bianca looks to take down Faithe but gets hit with some blistering kicks to keep her back. Jack was able to clothesline Corey out of the ring but turns and gets hit with a jumping knee to the chin. He staggers a bit until Bianca drills him with a superkick. With both Corey and Jack out of the ring, Faithe and Bianca start to trade offenses, trying to score the winning pin in the match. Faithe uses her strong striking game to keep Bianca off base but Reed is crafty and uses anything, including hair pulls and cheap shots to keep her in the match. Corey is able to get back in the ring and hits a slingblade that puts Bianca down. He then goes after Faithe but she uses a well placed kick to freeze him up. She tries for a running bulldog but Corey reverses it into a back body drop.
