OPENING SEGMENT
Felix was shadow boxing backstage to loosen up, careful to slip, dodge, or block as he threw jabs, overhands, and hooks. Timing his breathing, keeping his eyes open and his body at an angle. Hips an’ shoulders were parallel. Your classical boxing stance, your text book combinations being thrown into the air, all the while, Rusty was critiquing his form!
Rusty: Neriah’s gonna eat your lunch if that’s how you fight, Boy!
The punches became faster, more focused, more precise. His forearms, his biceps, they bulged as the Heavyweight continued his warm up.
Rusty: That’s it. Step it up, Son! Step it the fuck up, because you’re on a roll! You’ve been doing nothing but takin’ names, kickin’ asses, and handin’ out Ls!
Felix stepped back, turning on his heel, and letting out a devastating roundhouse that just narrowly avoided smacking into a staffer, who dropped their clipboard and skittered the hell out of there.
Felix: SORRY, BRO!
Pause. Beat. Felix shrugged and looked to Rusty.
Felix: That was close. So, I beat Neriah, and that makes me what? Five an’ one, technically?
Rusty: Somethin’ like that, and you’d have beaten the one that beat you. Still, you’re gonna have to rematch Kolin at some point to make that record solid.
Felix: Whatever I gotta do, Russ. I’m gonna climb my fuckin’ way to the top and take that title, then I’m gonna for the GWA Global Belt.
Rusty: Easy Kid. One day at a time. Last year you were beatin’ up carnies at fairgrounds. Everything can’t come to you easy.
Felix just shrugged, accepting the man’s words.
Rusty: Now fuck it, let’s go wet our throats and get ready for this asshole.
With that, the two made their exits, stage left, walking off camera.

MATCH ONE: US CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS
Neriah Holst vs Felix Graves
Neriah Holst vs Felix Graves
RECAP Felix has a noticeable strength and size advantage over Neriah and Neriah knew that. He wasn't about to lock up with Graves and instead is very hesitant in even starting the match. He kept going to the outside to try to frustrate the less experienced Felix. Finally the former soldier had enough and leaped out of the ring. Holst escaped and went back into the ring and caught Graves who slid back in with a stomp to the neck. Neriah picks Felix up but Felix quickly overpowered him with Blackhawk Down! Felix continued his offensive assault on Holst as he started delivering his patented HOOAH chops getting the crowd behind him. Neriah tries to desperately escape again but he can't get away from Graves. Felix is pulled off of Neriah as he didn't acknowledge a rope break called by the referee. Holst too advantage by chop blocking Felix in the knees which led him to taking over the match. Neriah did every dirty tactic to keep Graves grounded. Eye rakes… eye pokes…...morechop blocks to the knees. The crowd was really letting Holst have it showing their disapproval for his tactics. Yet Neriah does showcase his incredible ability by hitting a release suplex and following that up with a picture perfect moonsault. He covers Felix but Captain America kicks out at two. Once again Neriah later in the match still in control resorted to his underhanded tactics. Felix almost completed a comeback after Neriah miscued on a fosbury flop. But instead Neriah stopped it by nailing a low blow where the referee didn't see it. He rolled Graves up and grabbed a handful of tights but Graves powered out! Felix got on his knees and stared Holst down as adrenaline started flowing through Captain America. Neriah sensing immediate danger tried running from Felix but Graves showed tremendous speed for his size and caught Holst. He gives Neriah a massive spinebuster. The end came soon after. Graves was relentless on Holst with overhand rights and hard chops wearing Neriah down. Felix called for the Second Amendment and almost took Holst’ head off with it to pick up the one...two...three and the victory to move on in the U.S Title tournament. WINNER Felix Graves METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 9:12 FINISHING MOVE The Second Amendment |

Kolin Kavanagh stands backstage, shirtless, wearing sweatpants and a pair of sunglasses. He grins confidently while nodding towards the camera.
Kolin Kavanagh: Julian Savell… the Golden God… what can I say my friend other than that I told you so. I warned you that the day would come when I sought justice for what you did to Quinn. And there you stood, all cocky and self assured after your Golden Globe debut, after your stunning showing in the Beat The Clock Challenge.
Kolin laughs a little.
Kolin Kavanagh: I have to be honest Jules, as I stood behind that curtain unbeknownst to you, I watched you approach and I thought to myself, I am in the presence of a legend. There he is, Julian Savell, primping and preening and soaking in the hatred of the masses. That guy knows what he’s doing. That guy has his shit together. That guy is experiencing a renaissance. And you were. I could see it in your eyes. I could read it in the sneer of your smile and the flare of your nostrils. The Villain was BACK!
Kolin holds out his hands and does a slow spin as if soaking in the adoration of a crowd. But he stops once his back is to the camera.
Kolin Kavanagh: But then you did something very un-Julian-like. You dropped your guard. You made a mistake. You forgot I was out there lurking in the shadows.
Kolin’s arms drop as he turns to face the camera once more.
Kolin Kavanagh: I wish I had a body cam on so you could’ve seen the look on your face when I kicked you in the gut, hoisted you high above my head and sent you ass over tea kettle off that stage. I wish you could’ve watched your beady little eyes widen or heard the tremor in your voice as you shook your head no and begged me not to do it. But it was too late. It was over the second you touched her. You served an injustice down unto me and I returned it tenfold.
Kolin smirks confidently.
Kolin Kavanagh: And now you know, a Kavanagh always pays his debts.
With a wink Kolin pauses for a moment before continuing.
Kolin Kavanagh: Seth Lawless, you will NOT be United States Champion. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever. You are in this tournament strictly to serve as the firm yet flabby ground I will set my boot upon before I thrust forward and snatch gold from the heavens. You are but a footnote. The answer to the trivia question; who was the useless fuck Kolin Kavanagh defeated in round two of the U.S. title tourney before moving on to be crowned king? You are a rudderless ship, drifting asunder in the harbor while the next generation of superstars circle like sharks. I drew first blood when I dropped you on your head a couple of weeks ago and you responded by doing absolutely nothing. You allowed the wound I opened to fester and grow deeper. Now your blood is drip, drip, dripping into the water and those sharks? We smell it. You’re a wounded animal limping down the homestretch and you’re not going to make it to the finish line. But don’t blame me… blame Darwin. He says the herd must be thinned. With each new signing the roster grows and survival of the fittest has never been more apropos. Maybe after I defeat you you’ll limp on over to Freedom where you’ll be free to perish in obscurity… or maybe you’ll just curl up and die right there on the canvas tonight. One thing I know for certain, this is the last time you’ll ever hear the name Seth Lawless in the same breath as MY U.S. Title. Because Seth? You just aren’t in my league and Natural Selection is calling your name.
Kolin pulls down his sunglasses and winks before turning and walking out of the frame.

BACKSTAGE
We see Honey’s bare knee before the camera zooms out. Honey having brand new knee pads as she currently has a little difficulty opening her kitkat bar that won’t tear without her using her teeth to cut, gnarnling into it a little bit
Honey: YES! Finally!
She says ready to just chomp on the whole bar when she sees her tag team partner turn the corner and waves to her. Honey breaks off the bar into two and waves to Helena.
Honey: Over here, teamie!
She smiles and hops onto her feet full of energy with a sweet smile, arms out as if she did a gymnast dismount. Helena smiles back, one of those rare, genuine smiles you don’t see very often on the former CanAm Champion face.
Helena Noir: Looks like someone’s ready and excited for tonight!
Reaching out with her hand, she grabs the Kit Kat bar she’s offering, knowing that she won’t take a no as an answer. Not like she could actually say no to her enthusiastic tag partner anyway.
Honey: Mmhmm! This is my third match, I think, against the Girls of Summer too and, like, I have you as my teamie. Since you're very very talented, Helena.
Honey nods rapid briefly to affirm her own point.
Honey: Are you as excited as I am?
Helena crosses her arms on her chest, nodding lightly.
Helena Noir: I don’t express it like you do, but I’m looking forward to step in the ring with you. This might be the change I need…
She puts her hand on Honey’s shoulder.
Helena Noir: And speaking of talent, you have plenty… I knew it already, after our first match, I’m even more convinced now that we trained together. I have a good feeling about tonight…
Honey: Me too. I think we can win and start being a team to watch in Liberty. Have you faced the Girls of Summer before?
Honey says leaning in with wonder.
Helena Noir: Once.
She says with a sigh of disappointment.
Helena Noir: I was teaming with Katie Anderson, and it was right in the middle of our rivalry for the CanAm Championship. I let you guess how that match ended…
Honey opens her arms to give Helena a hug.
Honey: It's ok, I promise it won't be the same with me.
She says pulling back and draws a cross over her heart.
Honey: I Honey Promise.
She chuckles lightly.
Helena Noir: Oh don’t worry, I never thought for a moment you were going to stab me in the back the way she did… You’re not a b…
Almost biting her lips, she stops from cussing.
Helena Noir: But all things aside, I can’t take anything away from Coral and Nami. They know their crafts, it’s not by a lucky chance that they became Tag Team champions and held the titles for so long. This is a big challenge for us, and a big opportunity as well.
Honey nods as she rests her hands in front of her.
Honey: Mmhmm, they beat me and Coda before but then, like, me and Lizzy beat them recently so I think that means I am tied with them and stuff.
Honey momentarily looks off in thought before shrugging and chortling, happy to have a teammate.
Honey: Afterwards I can introduce you to the nice hotdog vendor outside the building. I buy a hotdog from him every show!
Once again, her joyful and positive attitude seem to have a good influence on Helena’s mood.
Helena Noir: Of course, but only if I can buy…
She says cracking a light laugh.
Helena Noir: I thought about the tag team name…
Honey almost floats onto her tiptoes
Honey: You have a name for our team?
She says with a little twinkle in her eye but can't help but blurt her own ideas out.
Honey: I thought maybe we could be the Good Girls of Liberty.
Helena stares at her for a long moment, before nodding at her.
Helena Noir: Good girls, huh?
She can't help but chuckle, shaking her head.
Helena Noir: It’s been a while since I was last called a good girl… But sure, why not? I like it!
Honey rolls her fists over and over quickly before popping them up in the air.
Honey: YIPPIE KI YAHOO!
She shouts in joy at their name with a little jump in her celebration.
Helena Noir: Hey, save some energy for the match, will you?
Helena says cracking a light laughter. Honey immediately calms down, sticking out her tongue. The two girls then walk away, discussing strategy for their first match as a tag team.

MATCH TWO: US CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINAL
Kolin Kavanagh vs Seth Lawless
Kolin Kavanagh vs Seth Lawless
RECAP The match starts with Kavanagh doing his best to get inside Seth’s head. Each time the two go to lock up Kolin pulls away before they can grapple and flexes for the crowd. As Seth’s frustration grows Kolin talks more and more trash, mocking and taunting and laughing at Lawless until Seth finally snaps and tackles Kavanagh down to the canvas where he begins his assault. Thrilled to finally get his hands on Kavanagh after weeks of taunting and an attack from behind Lawless shows him no quarter as he lands brutal blows to the body followed by stomps before yanking Kolin to his feet and dropping him with a short arm clothesline. Kavanagh is stunned but pops back to his feet only to eat Check Yo Teeth (a dropkick). With Kolin flat on his back the assault begins anew. Lawless continues to be the aggressor, showing his experience and ringmanship by not allowing the rookie to catch his breath. After dominating the match thus far Lawless hoists Kavanagh high in the air for the Detroit is Burning powerbomb but Kavanagh rains down punches into Lawless’ forehead until Seth has to abandon the move, dropping Kavanagh and stumbling backwards. Kolin sees his chance and explodes towards Lawless with a brutal spear, nearly breaking his opponent in half before immediately pulling him to his feet and landing a belly to belly suplex. Scampering over Kolin locks in the Scavenger’s Daughter (Tazmission/Katahajime). Seth’s face begins to turn purple as he fights the submission with all his might, his consciousness fading fast. The referee taps Kolin on the shoulder, calling for a break and Kolin leaps up, thrusting his hands in the air, believing he’s won the match… only he hasn’t. Seth managed to get his foot under the rope necessitating a break of the hold. While Kavanagh feverishly pleads his case Seth manages to crawl up behind him and land a low blow which he follows with a roll up. The referee makes the count… one… two.. thr… but Kolin just manages to wiggle out. Both men scamper to their feet but it’s Kolin who’s quicker on the draw, greeting Seth with an eye poke before hoisting him up in a stalling suplex position before driving him down hard into the canvas with the Spinal Tap (Steiner Screwdriver/Vertical Suplex Piledriver). The impact shakes the entire ring as the referee slides into position and makes the three count. WINNER Kolin Kavanagh METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 9:57 FINISHING MOVE Spinal Tap |

Nami Callaghan appears at her side, her ring gear a matching sparkly sapphire blue and white and she smiles as she too bounces with excitement.
Nami Callaghan: Honey, it’s always a pleasure! Now, Helena Noir? She’s been not so nice to us in the past when we beat her in tag team action, but we hope that she’s put that firmly in the past where it belongs and will wrestle this match to the best of her abilities!
The two nod enthusiastically before they laugh and smile.
Coral Callaghan: It’s just so nice to know we’re facing people that won’t take that low road, that won’t lie, or say nasty things about us - that just want to wrestle.
Nami Callaghan: That’s so rare, so rare.
Coral Callaghan: We’ll see you out there Honey! MWAH!
The Girls blow kisses at the camera before they link arms and leave, bouncing quite unnecessarily as they go.

Aubrey Grimes is found backstage, stretching for her match. She stretches her arms first, followed by her legs. She spots a camera in front of her and with a huge smile on her face, she begins to speak.
Aubrey: For those who are wondering....my honeymoon was absolutely amazing! It definitely ended way too soon, that’s for sure. And I know, you all are probably thinking I’m completely exhausted from the ride all the way from Cost Rica to here in New York, but I actually feel quite rested and ready to go.
She nods in reassurance.
Aubrey: I’ve never felt any better and more relaxed and I’m completely ready to take on Cass Baumer and Brendan Callaghan, with my tag bestie, Melissa Reeves!
She giggles with a sweet smile on her face.
Aubrey: I have to say, Mel and I have been doing pretty good as your Liberty Tag Team Champions, regardless of a few minor hiccups. I think we’ve proven ourselves well as a team. I know I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s a complete honor to be working along Mel’s side and having her back. I never thought I would ever have to opportunity and I can never think of a better way to team with not only my best friend but a woman who has helped me on my journey back into the ring.
She grabs her half of the Liberty Tag title off the box that was next to her and rests it on her shoulder.
Aubrey: I know that our opponents are two talented people. I look forward to stepping into the ring with them. I know going into this match we have the respect of our opponents and they have ours. Unlike last week.....I see that this will hopefully go fair and far better without any kind of interruptions. Completely ridiculous.
She sighs.
Aubrey: But as usual, we’ll all be prepared just in case. So Cass....Brendan.....I know we are all going out there tonight and giving each other our best. I expect nothing less. But...just like mine and Mel’s last matches, you all will fall short. This is still our time!
She flashes another big smile and by this time, Aubrey’s husband, Corey steps into view. They two embrace in a hug and share a kiss, before he helps place the title around her waist. The two link arms before walking off.

Girls of Summer vs Honey & Helena Noir
Girls of Summer vs Honey & Helena Noir
RECAP Coral and Honey start off the match and at the sound of the bell, they two lock up in the middle of the ring, with Honey gaining the advantage with a quick knee strike before taking Coral down with a belly to belly suplex. Honey keeps the pressure on with a knee to the neck of Coral before going for a quick cover that only manages a one count. Honey tags in Helena who keeps the attack going with several hard stomps to the downed Coral. Helena pulls her back to her feet before dropping Coral back down with a swinging neckbreaker. Helena goes for an arm bar rather than the pin and tried to yank Corals arm out of her socket. Nami tries to enter the ring and it distracts the official enough that Coral is able to rake the eyes of Helena and break free. She takes in Nami who kicks the blinded Helena in the face and starts to stomp away on her. She then taunts Honey to get in the ring and while Honey is stopped by the referee, Coral gets in the ring and the two Girls of Summer double suplex Helena and both out the boots to her. As he official turns around Coral gets out of the ring again. Nami locks in a rear chinlock to try to keep Helena down but she is able to power back and make the hot tag to Honey who clears the ring of both of the Girls of Summer. After a bit of arguing and a referees count of seven, all four competitors are in the ring and brawling. The official tries to regain control but is having trouble. Helena seems to be in control of Coral when Nami pushes Honey into Helena and the two bump heads, staggering them both. Coral is able to push Helena from the ring after the run in. Nami then nails Honey with a running high knee to the face and Coral follows up a big leg drop, also know as the team move “Sandy Cheeks”, before coving Honey for the win. Helena slid into the ring to make the save but it was too late. A look of disappointment is over Helena’s face as the Girls of Summer celebrate and Helena checks on her tag partner and friend, Honey. The pair are proving popular with the New York crowd and despite their best efforts to sign as many posters, caps and shirts as possible, the queue seems to only be growing.
Taking a break, Melissa looks at the camera to her side.
Melissa: You know, sometimes it's easy to forget why we do this. Sometimes you get lost in the politics and the bs. But then you see the fans out here, the people who want to cheer you on, and you remember.
She points out to the crowd, many of whom wave back.
Melissa: People like these guys. They believe in me, and in Aubrey. They believe that we're good people who fight for the right reasons. And really, how many in Liberty Pro can claim that?
She shrugs.
Melissa: There have been plenty of times where neither Cass Baumer nor Brendan Callaghan could claim that. And sure, Cass has definitely been changing her ways recently, but that's only because she deviated in the first place. And Callaghan? How many times have we seen his cowardice rear its ugly head?
She holds up her fingers, but quickly loses count.
Melissa: Tonight we face the pair of them and whilst I expect a good fight, I'm absolutely confident that Aubs and I will walk out as tag champions...just as we'll walk in as champions. We're not champions by accident or mistake. We're champions because we are the best tag team unit in Liberty. We're fighting champions, will to defend these titles whenever and wherever. And that? That is PROOF that no challenge is ducked.
She turns on the seat and frowns.
Melissa: Which brings me to Katie Anderson-Tolson..Tolson-Anderson, whatever, nobody gives a shit. You wanna talk about people who don't fight a good fight, just look at her. What she lacks in talent - which is quite a lot - she tries to make up for in raw aggression and outright cheating. Well hey, I shouldn't be surprised, she never was on my level in the ring. And when I used to team with her a few years ago, it was always her who cost us our victory.
She scoffs.
Melissa: She claims to hate me and that's just fine. Truth is that the girl I was once engaged to is dead and whoever is parading around in her corpse is not the Katie I knew. So let her hate me, it's irrelevant. Let her try and take me down, because she will fail. And now? Now it'll cost her her job. So well done, Katie, you played yourself.
Leaning in closer, she grabs the camera.
Melissa: And if your dumbass wife even tries to interfere, I will drop her on her head over and over and over and over again until the reality sinks in through that thick skull of hers that nobody...and I mean NOBODY crosses me without consequence.
Reeves smirks as she sits back and blows the camera a kiss, ending the segment.

Scene switches to the back to Tim Anderson
Tim Anderson: Joining me at this time is Kristina Spencer and her Manager Veronica Chandler.
Veronica has a huge smile on her face as Kristina just stares off into the void.
Tim Anderson: Veronica since arriving in Liberty you and your clients have caused quite a stir. Katie Anderson has harassed Melissa Reeves ampung others and now has made a mockery of sportsmanship by accepting a win after her wife took a dive and laid down for her. Your other client Kristina here has harassed Cass Baumer and has seemingly tried to hurt her along with others she has faced such as Scotty. How do you respond to the people who say your clients are thugs?
Veronica starts laughing so hard she literally has to stop and catch her breath before she can answer the questions.
Veronica Chandler: Thugs? Really Tim? Just because my clients are head and shoulders above everybody else does not make them thugs. Fact: Melissa Reeves is a COWARD who has refused all attempts by me to sign a contract to face Katie one on one. She happily agrees to tag matches and will gladly face Katie if it is a Handicap match because she knows she can’t beat Katie on her own. However she can only run away so long before she has no choice but to take her ass beating like a professional!
Veronica’s looks at Tim and shrugs her shoulders
Veronica Chandler: As for her match at Freedom that is between her and her lovely wife Samantha. All I know is my client won her match and how people feel about her win doesn’t matter. That is a family issue and besides Liberty management tried to break up a marriage and it blew up in their faces. As i said my client won and that is all the matters to me as everything else is NONE of your business!!
Tim takes a step back for a moment before stepping by into frame
Tim Anderson: What about Kristina’s actions toward her opponents especially Cass Baumer?
That got Kristina’s attention as she now stares at Tim
Kristina Spencer: DIE CASS DIE!!
Veronica Chandler: Whoa calm down Kristina. *looks at Tim* Look what you did? You almost got yourself killed just now! Anyway Cass is getting what she deserves! She has made a career of running her mouth and telling lies and finally somebody os here to shut her up. If that turns out to be permanent then so be it! My client is the next Trials Champion so if i was Cass i would clean that belt up since it won't be her’s much longer! We showed mercy last week but next time our paths cross you may not be so lucky so i would watch my back Fake News.
Tim looks even more uncomfortable now
Tim Anderson: What about tonight? Kristina faces off with Warren Corbett of The Society but with Ana Hayden as the special referee.
Now Veronica seems annoyed
Veronica Chandler: Why? Why do we have a special referee? I mean personally i like the Society. I think Becky Balfour is great and I believe her message to be true plus she knows all about the cowardice of Reeves so we are kindred spirits.
Veronica shakes her head
Veronica Chandler: Me and my client gladly welcome a contest against any member of The Society but why is there a special referee? Personally I don’t care what issues there are between Ana Hayden and Warren Corbett but it should not cross over into OUR business. Now if Ana calls it down the middle there will be no problem as Kristina will have her hand raised in yet another victory on her Trials Championship World Tour.
However If Ana chooses to use this opportunity for her own reasons and does anything that harms my client I will not be held responsible to the carnage and the violence that Kristina will unleash to all those involved. So play it safe and don’t piss off The Wicked!
Kristina Spencer: We are The Wicked! We are the Harbinger of Destruction! We are Kristina and tonight there will be Violence. Welcome to my Playground!!!

RINGSIDE
As the vocals of Queens Of The Stone Age burst out of the speakers, the crowd stands to their feet. Cass Baumer makes her way out of the gate lazily conducting the music while huge cheers mixed with jeers rain down on the New Zealand-born social media mogul. Clad in a dodger blue leather studded jacket, the CEO smirks to the crowd as she struts down the aisle steadily while giving the camera a subtle V-sign with her palm inward. With the dodger blue strobe lights aimed directly at her, The Sensational One turns and begins walking backward, gesturing to the white #BaumerReport logo at the back of the jacket with her thumbs as a form of shameless advertising. Below the iconic logo is the Liberty Pro Trials Championship worn backward while the Millennium Pro Cloud Gate Championship is slung over her shoulder, so the plate is towards the camera as well. The gold shines against the blue spotlights as the crowd gets significantly louder.
After spinning around, “Smooth Sailing” fades as Cass raises the custom blue wireless microphone to her lips, so it picks up her Kiwi-accented voice.
Cass Baumer: You wanna know somethin’? I got the Trials Championship around my waist, the Millennium Pro Cloud Gate Championship over my shoulder, a GWA Heritage Championship match inbound and tonight... Brendon and I got the chance to compete for the Liberty Pro Tag Team Championships.
Cass’ voice deepens slightly as those blue eyes of hers grow more serious while she struts down the ramp at her usual pace.
Cass Baumer: You think I’d be happy, yeah? You’d think I’d be over the moon ecstatic about the accomplishments I’ve achieved in just the past few months alone and I am on the surface, but the truth is, I know just as well as anyone else in this building and watching back home that I still got a lot to prove and then some.
Cass sighs before speaking again into the microphone.
Cass Baumer: You wanna know what’s so great about Melissa Reeves, though? When she carries a championship, she carries a championship! The championship doesn’t carry her. Whether it’s the top prize in the company or she’s holding one-half of the tag team championships, when you question somebody even remotely familiar with the recent climate of the sport, they’ll tell you the same thing: Melissa Reeves is a champion. She puts in the grind, and she deserves every ounce of success she’s earned but me? Nah. I’ll be real with you. I ain’t there yet.
Honesty dripped from her lips as she continued to slowly approach the ring.
Cass Baumer: I’m one of the most recognized personalities in the industry as a whole and I worked hard to make that happen but when it comes down to what happens in the ring? Nah. I got work to do. Instead of pulling a Becky Balfour, I won’t complain like a bitch and wallow in front of all of you, but I’ll do something about it instead.
Baumer smirked deviously as she climbs the apron and steps over the middle rope.
Cass Baumer: Everybody always says I’ve got a target on my back, right? Whether I got a championship around my waist or not, it’s what damn near everybody has to say when they notice all the enemies I got lined up behind me in not just GWA but all of wrestling as a whole. And it’s always said like it’s a weakness. It’s always said like it’s something new. It’s always said like it’s something I oughta be ashamed of; like it’s something I oughta change but the truth is that I’m not ashamed of it in the slightest. In fact, I embrace it! The people who matter to me stand on the other side of the fence but the more people line up to take me down, the more I get to challenge some of the best of the best in this sport! I improve after each and every encounter. And I’ll continue to get better, week after week after week! I’ll absorb the shots, and I’ll hit back twice as hard. I watch the tapes, I relive the moments, and I keep on training like a motherfucker! I’ll defend this Trials Championship as many times as I can against anyone who wants the chance to step into the ring with The Headliner but most of all, I’ll—
She paused, and her cocky demeanor stopped in its tracks.
Cass Baumer: So many people could have been here in my place, so many talented wrestlers who haven't made it to the big time for whatever reason but now that I'm here... I don't want to take it for granted. I'll earn my spot. And I'll do the best I can to make sure Brendon leaves here with a championship of his own tonight.
She paused again as the cheers caught her by surprise. Her voice became more boisterous gain.
Cass Baumer: So if Brendan and I fighting against Melissa Reeves and Aubrey Grimes for the Tag Team Championships is something ya wanna see, I suggest you park your ass in the nearest seat, eat some snacks, and enjoy what happens when four headliners step into the ring ‘cause we’re stealing this entire damn show, no doubt about it!
Cass steps on the bottom rope with one foot while climbing on the middle rope with the other foot. She grips the top rope with her left hand and smirks to the crowd as she feels all the energy coming from the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Cass Baumer: Confirmed?!
She lifts the microphone towards the rafters, and some of the crowd echoes back her sentiment with a powerful “CONFIRMED!” in return. Cass grins as she hops off the ropes and glances at the stage.
Cass Baumer: Enough talk! I’ll let my actions speak for itself.
She points her back towards the stage and points to it with her thumb once more, eagerly looking forward to Melissa and Aubrey shooting at the target that’s always on her back.

MATCH FOUR: TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Melissa Reeves & Aubrey Grimes vs Cass Baumer & Brendan Callaghan
Melissa Reeves & Aubrey Grimes vs Cass Baumer & Brendan Callaghan
RECAP The matchup begins with Aubrey against Cass in action and Cass in a friendly match. Locking up and trading small holds with Cass having the benefit of the majority of the grapple thanks to her experience but Aubery using a few of her partner's teachings to escape some holds. Cass tries to go it alone against Aubrey until she delivers a bulldog on Cass. Cass kicks out of it but she regains control and tags in Brendan for some rest. Brendan's time is a bit more mocking by doing Brendan’s Big Bag O’ Trix: Dead Leg and then mocking Aubrey and a mix up of Body hooks/uppercut combo with theatrics to burning lariat but Aubrey able to kick out. Aubrey gets double teamed by Cass and Brendan by their spinebuster from Brendan and a diving double leg drop from Cass, though Aubrey is able to kick out. Mel tags in but Brendan has the ref distracted by trying to get in. Cass and Mel mix up like their previous encounters but Mel is forced back out of the ring with Cass a little confused on the referee's decision, Mel arguing her case she was tagged which distracts the referee for Brendan to hit a snap sharp back suplex. Cass comes over and gets tagged out by Brendan keen to win but Aubrey is able to kick out again. Brendan chooses to dominate the match there on Brendan until Mel is forced to break a pin up. Brendan gets a cheap sucker punch on her and lets Aubrey have enough recovery time to escape Brendan's next back suplex so she can chop block him and dive to tag in Mel. Mel comes in as Brendan makes a tag to Cass which makes Mel a little annoyed but she takes it out on Cass with her Facebreaker knee smash, then an exploder suplex. Cass eventually gets to a point she's taking forearm strikes and reverses the whip to counter Mel and drop her with a Samoan drop, Cass's few pins in rapid succession catching Mel vary in counts but the scoop slam is where Mel escapes and hits her Reaver Slam (Angle Slam). Brandon comes in to stop Mel even getting a pin by a running dropkick. Mel tags in Aubrey and Aubrey dives over Brandon before hitting a gut kick and a scissor kick Kristina comes out to the entrance and calls Cass a coward to the crowd. After enough insults, Cass gets down and chases after her while Brendan ends up getting a Facial Deconstructor (Jericho's Codebreaker) into Aubrey's Blonde Ambition (reverse roundhouse kick) for the win. WINNER Melissa Reeves & Aubrey Grimes METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 9:23 FINISHING MOVE Facial Deconstructor/Blonde Ambition Combo POST MATCH Melissa and Aubrey were handed their Liberty Tag Team Championships and they began to celebrate their victory. But suddenly Katie Anderson and Sam Tolson came out through the crowd and slid in the ring but wait! Melissa and Aubrey saw it coming! Melissa takes out Katie with her tag team championship to the face when Aubrey lays out Tolson with Blonde Ambition, sending her flying out of the ring. Melissa mounts on top of Katie Anderson and begins to pound her with several right and left punches until Sam pulls Katie out of the ring. Sam and Katie retreat as Melissa yells at them, calling them cowards. |

“Everything’s a game to you, isn’t it Ana?”
A VERY close up shot of Warren.
“You thought it was so damn funny to interrupt my match with with Seth last week, a match that would have guaranteed me to move on in the United States tournament. On top of that, Seth and I sort of had unfinished business, one we kept finished but unfinished, nonetheless. You thought it would be so funny to stick your nose in, and cost me that match. I’m sure you were laughing all the way to the back, holding that Liberty Championship close.”
He throws his head back.
“Well good, laugh it up, Ana - ha ha HA!”
The laugh itself was done up and played out. He was obviously mocking her.
“Because my bet is, you’re not going to be able to do much laughing, much longer. You know, as well as I, that the United States Championship isn’t what I was after. So play your games, play your jokes, and laugh it up, because sooner or later I’m going to get my hands on you.”
He reached his hand forward, clutching nothing in particular, still taking up the full frame.
“Maybe it won’t be tonight, considering I’ve got a match against some blonde showing up specifically for this match. Turns out you want to play a little more games, seeing as how you’re the special referee. I’m going to show this gal what it means to be in Liberty, but I’m not expecting the world out of you as my referee. I’m expecting some kind of game, and some kind of laugh. And that’s fine, I’ll be your joke for now.”
He shrugged, but a smirk remained.
“But I plan the long game, Ana. These short little nothings you want to claim, you go right ahead, because I’m aiming for the big one. I’m still the Liberty Pro Championship number one contender - ME! Which means I’ve got a shot at you coming up anyday now, and THATS the game that I plan on winning. That’s the one I’m taking.”
He nodded, looking around but still unwilling to let the audience see the background.
“I’d give anything to hear you laugh after that. Warren Corbett and #TheSociety standing over you, the Liberty Pro Championship handed over, you barely able to stand. THAT will be the greatest laugh, of all.”
SNAP. And static.

The scene cuts backstage where Cass Baumer and Kristina Spencer are going back and forth with each other. The two trade blows before Cass goes for a superkick but Spencer ducks it. Cass turns around and she’s met by a heart punch from Spencer. Cass grabs her chest before collapsing to the concrete floor. Kristina then utters the words she said earlier in the night.
Kristina Spencer: DIE CASS! DIE!!
Kristina smirks as Veronica Chandler shows up and grabs her client as the two exit the scene, leaving Cass out on the floor.

Becky Balfour is sitting in her locker room when there's a knock at the door.
Becky Balfour: I'm busy. Go away.
Silence.
Another round of knocks, this time, louder than before.
Becky Balfour: I said go the fuck away!
Balfour is wearing her ring gear, fidgeting with an elbow pad in her hands, a quiet focus on her face. That focus is soon erased by anger as there's MORE knocks at the door.
Becky Balfour: You're going to regret this!
Becky stands up aggressively and walks to the door, she yanks it open, ready to pounce who is on the other side when she stops. Her anger immediately begins to subside.
Becky Balfour: Why didn't you just come in?
On the other side of the door stands Cyrus Riddle, smiling at Becky's change of mood upon sight of him.
Cyrus Riddle: I could have, but I didn't know at what stage of dressed you were, and it was more entertaining to keep knocking after you yelled the second time.
He steps in slowly, Society shirt kind of loose to his upper body.
Cyrus Riddle: I've said it before, but your tenacity is amazing.
Becky Balfour: I'm just...trying to focus. This is about more than the Gotham championship. This thing with Riley and I has been building for months. From Ascendancy versus The Society, to our brawl in the streets, to constantly belittling each other on social media. This shit ends tonight.
Becky takes a few steps back and leans against the wall, studying the t-shirt on the newest member of #TheSociety.
Becky Balfour: The shirt looks good on you by the way.
The compliment was much more of a bragging point that she was able to secure Cyrus on her side, rather than flirting.
Becky Balfour: Tell me why I should let her walk out tonight. Or tell me that I need to make sure she doesn't. Her big matches in different companies around the world. Her championship's over each shoulder and her waist, I want to end it all. I want to mess up that pretty face of hers.
Becky reaches up and tugs at a strand of her own hair, clearly in her own head.
Becky Balfour: Talk to me, Cyrus.
Cy takes a seat near where Becky is standing, looking up at her.
Cyrus Riddle: First, you need to escape from your thoughts. In the ring, with championships and other stakes, it can be debilitating.
After a short pause he continues.
Cyrus Riddle: I've fought enemies, I've aligned with them, and I have wrecked blocks of major cities against friends. What I have learned in that time, is that instinct never steers us wrong. You want something, you take it, by any means necessary. You want to send a message, you send it, and make it bloody clear in the process.
The Englishman stands up, approaching Becky, and placing a single finger where her heart is.
Cyrus Riddle: Everyone has it, few use it, and almost none come to terms with the contents of it. You've never had that problem. You operate on conviction, strength, perseverance, and hunger. You place the weight of everything you stand for and who you represent on your shoulders daily. In that, you've succeeded. You've seized opportunity, and have risen above.
Lowering his tone slightly for emphasis, he smirks when speaking.
Cyrus Riddle: Tonight, you face perhaps your greatest nemesis in this business. When faced with what you face tonight, you leave it all out there, do whatever you have to, and bring the title home. The end game is simple, and you're free to use whatever means possible to accomplish your ends.
Becky Balfour: Thank you.
The words are rarely spoken by Becky and even seem to catch Riddle off guard.
Becky Balfour: Thank you for doing what NOBODY has had the balls to say to me all day. From anyone backstage, to anyone I've ran into, NO ONE has told me that I can beat her, that I can and should do WHATEVER it takes to walk out with her championship, but you? You've seen this story before, haven't you? People think I'm crazy. They wonder why I align myself with men like Gray, like you...and it's simple really. You've been where I'm headed. You've experienced more than I have, and as I've said before, there are NO LEADERS in this group. We learn from each other.
Becky closes her mouth for a moment and sucks in air through her nose before continuing.
Becky Balfour: Tonight, Riley's fairytale world comes crashing down around her. The wedding. The titles. Her name growing bigger and more meaningful by the day? None of it matters after tonight. THIS...
Becky traces her finger under #TheSociety logo on Cyrus's shirt.
Becky Balfour: Is all that matters.
Cy smiles with a nod, stroking his beard.
Cyrus Riddle: You're very welcome, and you're right. See, I didn't put this shirt on for a statement of fashion. At my core, I know that ideas are bulletproof. Despite the people who represent the name, the name will live on. Just as all these years later, the mask of Guy Fawkes is symbolic for rebelling against the system. Ideas change the world, they give voice to the voiceless masses. Ideas are all-encompassing when effective, and nobody stands between your message and your audience.
He looks up and down Becky.
Cyrus Riddle: In many ways, you and I are alike. Ostracized by those with elitist attitudes, labeled whores and psychos by the misinformed and incompetent. And once upon a time, I led a movement called the Age of Grandeur. It was meant to enlighten, bring people from their delusions. It gave birth to a new era of talent, and I like to believe it's evolved from there.
Riddle then takes to holding the logo from the shirt out to her.
Cyrus Riddle: When you remember you stand for more than wins and titles, and there is a greater mission embarked upon, you can never truly fail. This is a rough business. Careers, reigns, they all fade eventually. But legacy, that's eternal.
Becky leans back to the wall once more, her face now emotionless.
Becky Balfour: I know what I have to do now tonight. Tell The Followers to leave me alone until it's time. Okay?
Cyrus nods as Becky slumps to the floor, still against the wall as she sits on the cold floor.
Becky Balfour: Legacies are something we create, that we build upon, to leave behind. When I birthed The Society, I was told we were a cult. Trouble. I was called a fraud. Then, Riley created Ascendancy and claimed to be the true, dominant family. Three months later, they were no more. That legacy? Gone. But us? We remain strong. A few changes, adaptations, but that's what a strong family does. It grows. It evolves.
The evolution of Becky Balfour and The Society continues tonight, as I win another championship in Liberty, and more importantly, just as we ended Ascendancy, I wll END Riley.
Cy extends a hand which Becky takes. He pulls her to her feet.
Becky Balfour: Now get the FUCK OUT!
She lunges at the camera as Cy steps between her and the cameraman. Riddle instructs the cameraman to shut off the camera, which he does promptly, sending the feed back to the ring.

MATCH FIVE: SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE; ANA HAYDEN
Warren Corbett vs Kristina Spencer
Warren Corbett vs Kristina Spencer
RECAP The match between Warren and Kristina starts off with Warren taking Spencer out with a big boot. He then picks her up and drops her with a German suplex. He pins Spencer but Ana Hayden does a very slow one count before Spencer kicks out. Ana smirks as Warren looks at her and rolls his eyes. Warren picks Kristina up but Spencer rakes him in the eyes and Hayden looks away, pretending that she didn’t see it. Kristina catches on to what the Liberty Champion is doing, so she hits Warren with a kick to the nuts. Warren drops to his knees, holding onto his lower region when Spencer charges him and takes him out with a knee strike. Warren crashes to the canvas and Spencer pins him and Ana does a fast count but Warren kicks out before Hayden can slap the mat for the three count. Spencer yells at Warren, telling him to stay down. She starts to clench her fist, it looks like she is getting ready for her heart punch. Warren starts to stir but suddenly Cass Baumer slides into the ring and she spears Kristina down. Ana Hayden laughs and shrugs her shoulders before leaning back into the corner, watching Baumer and Spencer battle it out in the middle of the ring. Warren gets up and is confused as he looks at Cass and Kristina. He then looks over to Ana and complains to her, telling Ana that Spencer should be DQ’d for the low blow and eye rake. Ana holds her hands up innocently, saying that she didn’t see it happen. Cass and Kristina are back on their feet and Ana points at Warren to turn around. Cass superkicks Spencer and she stumbles back into Warren, who drops Spencer with The Battle Ax (High Spinning impact spinebuster). Warren then pins Kristina and Hayden drops down and does a normal count, counting to three, giving Warren the win. Ana goes to raise Warren’s hand but he pulls away. Cass Baumer stands over Kristina, yelling out how she can’t beat her. Cass’ presence continues to annoy Warren, so he grabs her and drops her with the Battle Ax. When Warren gets up and turns around, he’s met by She Was Only Seventeen (Running single leg drop kick) to his face from Ana Hayden. Ana raises her hand as she stands over Warren with a smirk on her face. She then leaves the ring, leaving behind Spencer, Baumer and Warren, all out in the ring. BACKSTAGE
Riley Sweet sits in her locker room backstage not her dressed for her match, instead wearing a tank top and some shorts, the multiple bruises and contusions still all over her body are obvious. Her thighs still carry thick purple and black stripes from the chain whipping across them, her bottom lip still has a few stitches. She has small protective plasters on one cheek and across her body, protecting the last few sutures and stitches in the match to come.
Riley sits on the floor, with all three championship belts lined up in front of her, but her eyes aren’t on the straps, instead her eyes are focused on the door as she is obviously waiting on someone.
Asher Sweet walks in and glances down at her, any words he was about to say getting caught up in his throat as he’s surprised to see her in that position. He pauses only a moment before walking over and sliding down next to her, his eyes focused on her profile.
Asher Sweet: Hey you. Everything okay? Wanna talk about it?
She nods slowly, as she turns her head to meet his eyes a soft sigh escapes her lips.
Riley Sweet: You know, a couple of months ago, this match would have meant the world to me, I’d have been willing to put my entire body through absolutely anything to get the job done.
She laughs and looks down at her championships with a frown.
Riley Sweet: Everyone kept telling me how I was going to burn out, that life would catch up with me and I was so fucking determined to outrun the burn I didn’t stop
I didn’t slow down, but now?
She waves her hand over the belts with a smile.
Riley Sweet: Now I feel like I am proving myself in other ways, you know? For Becky tonight is this huge deal, this one of a kind match where she can prove to everyone that she’s just as amazing as she’s always been! Only, she was never really amazing, she had a group of people who blindly followed and that’s been getting smaller and smaller. I feel sorry for her, you know?
While I’ve been able to find myself and my place in the industry, she’s been the one who burned out. She’s fallen further and further down the slope and now she’s got herself convinced that a win over me will change it all. Only… it won’t.
Riley frowns and looks back to Asher.
Riley Sweet: Say she beats me tonight, say somehow it all lines up and tonight just happens to be her night? So what? One victory, one pinfall, that doesn’t make or save a career. I’m not going to suddenly overnight turn her into someone people think are worth the time or energy to get invested in.
People follow me, they boo me, they long for my failing, because they’re invested. Because while Becky has relied on a group to make her name, I rose above and out of it, I’ve proven that some kid sister of a wrestling great really can change the entire landscape of this industry… so, I guess I just..
She bites her bottom lip and looks down at the belts again.
Riley Sweet: What do I even have to gain from tonight?
Asher listens, nodding along in agreement every now and again before glances down at the belts as well.
Asher Sweet: I think it’s easier to get up for big matches, to have that chip on your shoulder and go out there with something to prove to the world. True professionals are consistent, they give their best day in and day out no matter the stakes. You are a true professional. Maybe there’s nothing tangible to gain other than being the champion everyone expects you to be. You set the bar high and now it’s your responsibility to live up to those expectations no matter the circumstances. It’s what you do. It’s who you are. You try not to disappoint and if you do you’ll double down and fix it, make sure it never happens again. So sure, Becky’s out to prove something. But you? You’ve already proven so much. So this is about performing at the highest level no matter the opponent, no matter the schedule. This is about legacy.
She smiles softly as she nods, before leaning into him slightly.
Riley Sweet: My whole body hurts, but I can’t even feel it, does that even make sense? I meant what I said, before, about learning to live in the moments between all this shit. My career, it’s a huge part of my life and my identity and I won’t ever let up on it, I want to be the best, consistently and stay at the top… but I want our life too, I don’t want every waking moment to become about all of this.
She sighs and leans her head to his shoulder.
Riley Sweet: Maybe that’s the real success, learning to love what you have… god that’s fucking lame isn’t it?
He jostles her gently with his shoulder while smiling.
Asher Sweet: Wait, you had to learn to love me? C’mon that should’ve been like the easiest thing ever.
She rolls her eyes and leans in to kiss him softly, running her hand up his cheek.
Riley Sweet: Eh, you know you’re kind of an asshole sometimes…
She smirks and shakes her head,
Riley Sweet: You were the easiest decision I have ever made in my life. But learning to put you guys first? That one's kind of been a little difficult for me.
Asher nods while exhaling.
Asher Sweet: You were resistant at first but you came around on your own. You weren’t closed minded and now you’re really working at it. I think that says a lot about you as a person… as a champion. None of us are perfect. We’re still learning, still evolving. That’s why Becky’s stuck. She’s spinning her tires in the mud while you’re busy building roads where there were none. You’re open to change, even if it hurts, even if it takes hard work. That’s one of the many things I love about you.
She smiles and slowly stands up, extending her hand down to him.
Riley Sweet: How do you always do this? I can be in the most, dark, questioning mood, I can feel lost to the entire world and then here you are, always waking me back up, bringing me to reality. I love you… and I love that no matter what happens, I always have you to come home to.
He takes her hand, allowing her to help him to his feet as his hands then go to her hips and he smiles down at her.
Asher Sweet: We do that for each other. Lighthouses in the storm and all that. It’s why we’re so good together.
He shakes his head and chuckles.
Asher Sweet: Nah, fuck that… it’s why we’re great together.
He leans down and kisses her, savoring it for a moment before drawing back.
Asher Sweet: Now get ready, get out there and do what you do best, put on a show like no one else can.
She smiles and nods quickly.
Riley Sweet: Okay fiiiiiine But only because you asked so nicely!
She pushes him out the locker room with a laugh, leaning into the door frame.
Riley Sweet: I gotta get changed, so no peeking!
He laughs while being pushed out but quickly takes out his phone and holds it up towards her.
Asher Sweet: No worries, I’ll just stand out here and look at the pictures we’ve taken.
She grabs his phone from his hand with a lightning quick movement before quickly closing the door, her laughter can be heard behind it as the lock clicks. Asher stands there in shock for a moment before laughing and turning away.
Asher Sweet: Good luck out there! Love you!!

BACKSTAGE
The scene cuts backstage to Izzi Grimes prepping for her match with Ana Hayden later in the night. She’s already dressed down in her ring gear when she glances to the side and smiles as she sees the camera.
Izzi Grimes: It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a Liberty Pro ring, hasn’t it? The past few months since I left Liberty? I’ve grown so damn much. It’s why Nate asked me back for a match. He’s giving me an opportunity against not only one of the best in GWA but one of the best wrestlers in the world. I know what Anastasia Hayden is capable of and I know that she is the Liberty Champion for a reason. But I also know what I can do and I know that if Ana makes the wrong move? I can take her fucking head off.
A smirk rolls across Izzi’s face as she nods.
Izzi Grimes: Ana and the rest of the wrestling world is going to see that I can hang with the best of the best. It doesn’t matter who you put across from me, I can take anyone to the limit. My drive? My passion? It’s unmatched in [R]evo Pro and maybe even in all of GWA. The thing is wit me? I’m just scratching the surface. Already with what I’ve done? I’ve made people look at me because of who I am, not because of who I’m related to. It didn’t take me long whatsoever to get that ‘Oh, you’re Gavin’s cousin’ monkey off my back because the fact is, I’m more than that. Even the Liberty Champion kows that I’m much more than that, which is why I know that she’s going to give me her absolute best out there.
Izzi nods and continues.
Izzi Grimes: Now… I saw what happened with Warren’s match earlier, with Ana being the referee, and I fully expect him to try and pull some shit in our match, but I’m not going to let him dictate how things go between Ana and myself. I don’t want nor do I need any help with him pulling shit out there. So Warren? If you don’t call a clean match, you won’t just have Ana to deal with, but you’ll have me to deal with too. So tread lightly.
She steps towards the camera.
Izzi Grimes: As for you, Ana? I’ll take your best shot. But the thing is?
Izzi grabs a piece of paper and crumbles it up before tossing it in the trash perfectly.
Izzi Grimes: When it comes to Izzi Grimes? I’m nothing but net when I take that buzzer beater shot, baby. So let’s see what you got.
She nods and walks away before the scene cuts out.

MATCH SIX: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Riley Savell vs Becky Balfour
Riley Savell vs Becky Balfour
RECAP Before the match begins, Becky is clearly trying to get Riley’s back up as she runs her mouth, but the Gotham Champion seems unbothered by her attempts. Becky steps up and Riley laughs with a shrug of her shoulders, matching Becky’s squaring up, as Becky goes to shove Riley, Sweet grabs her wrist and twists it at an unnatural angle that sends Becky to one knee. Riley follows up with a stiff knee to the face that rocks Becky, but using her awareness she brings her own elbow down over Riley’s raised thigh, she strikes several times quickly and the pain causes Riley to drop her wrist and draw back with a growl. Becky gets back to her feet as Riley backs into the corner, Becky charges Riley, who is slower than usual and unable to move out of the way as Becky turns into the jump and crashes her body into Riley’s already bruised ribs. Once again, Becky shows her awareness in targeting Riley’s injuries, but this one backfires as Riley grabs a handful of hair and tosses Becky across the ring by it following up with a stomp to the back of the head, Riley grinds the sole of her boot on Becky’s head as she eats the canvas, Riley taking full advantage of the officials count. As Riley backs off, Becky rubs at her chin and jaw with a shake of her head. Riley chuckles as Becky gets to her feet, but her laughter is short lived when Becky dives across the space between them and nails Riley with a spear, taking her down to the canvas she mounts her and instead of going for the usual strikes to the face, Becky instead starts to land hard punches to those same bruises ribs, going so far as to dig her knuckles in at the various contusions on her body. Once again, the official is forced to step in and as Becky tries to back off, Riley catches her with a hard kick to the side of the head. Riley is one her feet as Becky gets to a crawl and Riley wastes no time in hitting her with the God Stomp! Dropping down, Riley goes for a pin but Becky gets the shoulder up just before three, Riley looks down at her and shakes her head, she grabs her by two handfuls of hair and bounces her head off the canvas, the official tries to get a warning in but Becky brings her hand up and with a coated hand, she swipes at Riley’s face and catches her lip, Becky yanks back and rips the stitches clean out of Riley’s bottom lip! Blood splatters across Becky’s ring gear but she only laughs as she then presses her boots into Riley’s stomach and kicks her back across the ring! Riley’s bottom lip is pouring out blood at first and the official tries to check on her but Riley slaps his hand away and insist she is good to go! Riley and Becky finally lock up, but Riley is obviously feeling the affects of her injuries the longer the match goes on and looks a little uneasy on her feet, taking advantage of her broken fingers, Becky yanks on them and pulls her in for a sulked, but Riley once again twists and comes off Becky’s shoulder to land on her feet! But Becks was expecting that one and with a quick hop she kicks Riley hard in the stomach and bounces her off the ropes into a jumping double stomp, Riley moves but still takes half the hit, leaning Becky to bounce off the ropes and fall back. As Riley stumbles back Becky kips up and leans into the ropes, letting out a scream directed at the crowd she then nails Riley with Hear Me Out! Becky then rolls up her up for the pin but NO! Riley just gets a shoulder up before the count, Becky can’t and won’t believe it, she starts to argue with the official until Riley charges her from behind, taking her off the ropes she nails a belly to back release suplex and sends Becky across the ring. But as she gets up Riley is still moving slowly, now almost doubled over due to her ribs and obviously flagging thanks to the blood loss as her white top js now dark blood red; Becky is able to take advantage and hits Riley with the Attention Seeker! Riley appears to be done and Becky once again goes for the pin… And Riley just kicks out before the three, Becky screams and grabs Riley by the hair, standing up she leans over Riley and screams in her face, yanking her up when out of seemingly nowhere, Riley gets a burst of energy, spitting her blood into the face of Becky, she has just enough in her to run the rope and hit Becky with The Crowning! But it’s no good! Riley can’t get up to make the pin and both women lie on their backs on the mat as the official begins a count, Becky is first to her feet, looking to have the advantage when. Riley is pulled from the ring by her ankles exactly as Ana Valentine charges the ring! Ana takes Becky through the ropes as Scotty Latimer is revealed on the outside to be stomping a mud hole into the downed Riley Sweet. Ana now has Becky against the barriers and is just wailing on her, neither women have enough left in them to fight after their hellacious match, which is declared a no contest. Scotty yanks Riley up and throws her into the barrier as Ana continues to take her boots to Becky, both Ana and Scotty pull their targets up and Ana throws Becky into the steel steps, as she crashes into them, Scotty then sends Riley flying after her and Riley crashes into Becky and the steps! Security rush the ring and manage to hold off Ana and Scotty, who clearly look pleased with what they have done. Riley manages to crawl up to the barrier, getting off Becky she leans over her long time foe and checks on her, Becky nods her head slightly and pulls her self up, as Riley and Becky sit side by side against the barriers, both beaten and bloody, Riley looks to Becky, who offers her a slight nod of respect, Riley returns the nod with one of her own as security battle to get Ana and Scotty backstage WINNER No Contest METHOD N/A MATCH LENGTH 13:12 FINISHING MOVE N/A |

The scene cuts backstage to Aiden Morrow standing in front of a camera with a smile on his face. He looks cool and confident as he takes a moment to finally begin to speak.
Aiden Morrow: It’s weird, you know? Being at the same show as Melissa and now having control over her contract. I almost wanted to change a stipulation in her match but then I remembered where I was!
He laughs and shakes his head.
Aiden Morrow: All kidding aside, I know where I am and I know what the stakes are tonight. Tonight, I fight one of the hottest champions in all of wrestling, Tyson Gregory, the GWA Global Champion. I know what he is capable of and I respect his abilities in that ring but the same thing goes for him. He knows what i can do, he knows that I’ve won my fair share of big matches, just like himself. Ever since this match was announced, I’ve been craving it and relentlessly preparing for it. I know that this is going to be one of the toughest challenges of my life.
Aiden nods confidently.
Aiden Morrow: The thing is? I’m going to make this one of the toughest matches Tyson has had, win or lose, he’s going to have to give it all to put me down for the three count. I came here to put on a show, hell, to steal the show. I came here to show that what I’m doing in Vengeance? It’s all fun and I enjoy the mind games but I enjoy getting work done in the ring more so than anywhere else and that’s what my plan is. So Ty? I’ll see you out there, bud. Good luck.
AIden nods and walks off and the scene cuts out.

BACKSTAGE
Shortly after her match, Riley Sweet is standing in the hallway backstage just outside her locker room, she’s still in her ring gear, damp dark red patches on her top around the drying areas. Her hands pressed against her thighs, she’s leans forward slightly and it’s obvious she’s struggling for breath as she stares at the floor.
Yasmine Sweet comes rushing up to her, reaching out to grasp Riley’s shoulder.
Yasmine Sweet: Mom! Oh my god! Are you okay?!
Yas is obviously panicked, her eyes wide as she looks Riley over. Riley lifts her hand and gently places it on Yas’ she squeezes softly and groans.
Riley Sweet: Yeah, nothing's broken, I got checked.
She straightens with a sharp painful inhale and leans back against the wall, her lip has fresh sutures and is clean, but around her mouth there’s still some dried blood where she spit it during her match.
Riley Sweet: More fucking angry than anything that stupid fucking piss ant little prick had to just come running out and fucking stick his fucking nose into my shit and I swear to GOD Yas if I see him I’m going to-
Yasmine Sweet: Kill him?! I’ll do it. I’m going to kill him and if he has kids I’m going to eat his babies!!!
She yells out the often maligned Mike Tyson threat before clenching up her fists and starting to storm off in search of Lattimer. Riley grabs at the belt loop on Yas’ jeans and holds her in place.
Riley Sweet: Woah there, small blonde and angry, take a breath!
She can’t help but laugh, letting Yas go as she waves her back over, her hand with the broken fingers, wiping at her mouth with a disgusted look.
Riley Sweet: Ugh, tastes like pennies. Anyway. No, I’m going to humiliate him in the ring… but not tonight, tonight I’m going to shower off most of this blood and then we’re going to go out and eat a shit ton of ice cream okay?
She smiles softly at her daughter, obviously trying to calm her down some despite her own anger. Yas continues to fume with her fists clenched and her chest heaving as she stares up at Riley.
Yasmine Sweet: You know I can do it. You know I can pay him back. I’ll wear the Sheeva suit. I’ll be fine.
A stagehand walks by and glances over, immediately incurring Yasmine’s wrath.
Yasmine Sweet: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT STUPID?!!!
Riley immediately pulls her into a hug and wraps her arms tightly around her.
Riley Sweet: Hey, shhh, it’s okay… take a breath….
Yasmine continues to breathe heavy for a bit before it slowly subsides and she exhales while leaning into her mother.
Yasmine Sweet: I’m sorry. I just hate that piece of shit for what he did. He’s a coward and a loser.
Riley nods slightly, gently running her hand through Yas’ hair, her other hand rubbing up and down her back.
Riley Sweet: I know and he’ll pay, I promise, but you need to calm down baby bird, I’m okay, I promise… I hate seeing you like this. He’s not worth it, none of it is.
Yasmine nods and leans back, swallowing hard before forcing a smile.
Yasmine Sweet: Sorry I freaked. I know you can handle yourself. I just hate feeling helpless.
Riley runs a hand down her cheek softly and sighs into a smile.
Riley Sweet: It’s okay, you don’t have to apologise, I just don’t want to see you getting hurt. Not for this, you have come so far and you have such a future ahead of you… let me handle the coward okay? He won’t get past me again.
Yasmine nods and exhales one final time before genuinely smiling.
Yasmine Sweet: Yeah, I promise. He’s all yours. No heroics on my part… even if I would make a badass sidekick.
Riley chuckles and shakes her head.
Riley Sweet: You, Yasmine Sweet, are nobody's sidekick.
Riley wraps and arm around her and starts to lead her into the Locker room.
Riley Sweet: I love you, kiddo.
Yasmine melts into her, holding tight.
Yasmine Sweet: I love you too mom.
She pushes off of her mother while grinning.
Yasmine Sweet: Now go get cleaned up because I believe you said something about ice cream.

HEADLINE: LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
WITH SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE; WARREN CORBETT
Anastasia Hayden vs Izzi Grimes
RECAP Izzi and Ana lock up in the middle of the ring. The taller Grimes is able to put the Liberty Champion in a headlock but Ana counters and shoves Izzi towards the ropes. Ana tries to go for a side kick but Izzi ducks it. Ana turns around and Grimes takes out Hayden with a Pele kick. Izzi pins Ana and Warren Corbett, the guest referee, does a quick count and it hits two before Ana kicks out. Izzi looks at Warren shakes her head at him, telling him to call a clean match. He nods as Ana gets up and tackles the distracted Izzi before hitting her with a few forearm shots. Ana then picks Izzi up and whips her into the corner before charging towards Izzi and hitting her with a body splash into the corner that is followed up by a running bulldog. Ana hooks the leg and pins Izzi but Warren has his phone out and is looking at it. Ana gets up to her feet and laughs it off before telling Warren if he keeps it up he’s going to take his head off. Warren responds by telling Ana he needs to respond to a text. The distraction gives Izzi time to get to her feet and when Ana turns around, she’s met by a charging Izzi who takes her out with the Sac-Town Explosion (Running single leg drop kick) but the move sends Ana out of the ring. Izzi gets out of the ring and retrieves Ana from the outside before sliding her in. Izzi pins Ana and Warren does a regular count this time but too much time had elapsed since the move and Hayden kicks out after two. Izzi doesn’t let up as she climbs up the top rope, looking to go for something big here. She leaps off, going for Light It Up (Phoenix Splash) but Ana rolls out of the way. Izzi shows off her athleticism by landing on her feet but before she can do anything, Ana takes her out with a slingblade. When Izzi gets back up to her feet, Hayden takes her out with the Magnolia Knee (Bicycle knee). The Liberty Champion pins Grimes but Izzi kicks out after the two count. Ana looks impressed before sarcastically giving Warren a thumbs up for counting the right way. Warren laughs and nods before Ana stays on top of Izzi. She picks her up and drops her with fisherman DDT. Hayden pins again but Izzi once again kicks out at two and Warren emphatically holds up to fingers to Ana’s face. Ana slaps Warren’s hand away and tells him to watch his step and he simply laughs off her statement. Ana turns to go back to fight Izzi but Izzi rolls her up with the Roll Up of Doom! It looks like it’s about to be a three count but Ana kicks out just before the three. Hayden gets up and so does Izzi but before Hayden can do anything, Grimes takes her out with an enziguri. Ana drops down to her knees and Izzi nails her with a Sac-Town Kick (superkick to kneeling opponent) that is followed up by a hurricanrana driver. Izzi wastes little time and she pins the Liberty Champion but Ana kicks out just before the three count. Izzi steps back into the corner and she waits for Ana to get up, looking as if she’s going for a second Sac-Town Explosion. When Ana gets to her feet, Izzi charges but when she goes for her finish, Ana ducks it. Before Izzi knows it, Hayden is taking her out with Deadman’s Curve (Somesault reverse DDT). Before ana can pin Izzi, Warren takes Ana out with The Battle Ax (Spinning high impact spinebuster). Corbett then drags Ana and places her over Izzi before he drops down and counts to three. The bell rings and Ana is announced the winner before Corbett grabs the Liberty Championship and he holds it over Hayden before laying it down across her body. Warren then exits the ring, leaving Ana and Izzi, who are laid out, behind. WINNER Anastasia Hayden METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 15:23 FINISHING MOVE Deadman’s Curve |

The cameras cut back to one of the hallways inside of The Hammerstein Ballroom. The GWA Global Champion, Tyson Gregory, is sitting on a metal folding chair with his head down, the Championship belt hanging from his hands that just hang over his lap. A few moments pass where Gregory mumbles a few words to himself before he lifts his head up and eyes the camera. He’s already dressed to compete and wears a Chelsea Morrow: Queen of Rebellion shirt over his gear.
Tyson Gregory: Tonight, I once again defend the GWA Global Championship title. This time it’s not against a big name frontrunner like Molly Reid or against a long standing name in this sport like Jan van der Roost. No, tonight is against someone that is best labeled as a dark horse here in GWA and that’s Aiden Morrow.
Tyson lifts up the belt and places it on his lap.
Tyson Gregory: You see, Aiden has been a champion pretty much anywhere he’s gone, but he’s never really got the notoriety and fame that he should have from the career he’s put up so far. That means he can get the job done but still has a fucking chip on his shoulder to keep pushing for more… And that makes him a fucking tough opponent for me. While most are looking past Aiden to where Nora is waiting for her match, I am not doing that. I’m not going to make this a trap match where I get caught looking too far ahead and I get tripped up and lose my Championship.
He sighs looking back down at the title.
Tyson Gregory: When this match was announced, I took to Twitter and said how my next opponent was going to be Aiden and how I said how no one said being GWA Global Champion was going to be easy. What was Aiden’s response? Let’s make this match of the year and let’s make this one to remember. After that? He went back to trolling Melissa Reeves and Gavin Grimes. You see in my mind, that shows clearly that Aiden’s focus? It’s not one hundred percent on this match. The thing with Aiden is, he can do almost anything he puts his mind to but right now? He’s got too many irons in the fire and it’s leaving his focus wavering.
He picks up the GWA Global Championship belt and drapes it on his shoulder now, proudly on display.
Tyson Gregory: So I still see this as a trap match, only it’s not a trap for me. This is where Aiden is going to get his golden opportunity and because he is less than one hundred percent focused on me? He’s going to fail. Maybe that’s why despite having a pretty solid career so far, Aiden Morrow has yet to be a household name. But maybe this could be his wake up call, a nice humbling experience from me could set him on the right path and sharpen his focus so that when or if he ever gets the chance to challenge for my GWA Global Championship, he will be more prepared and offer up a better fight.
He slowly rises from his seated position and smiles to the camera.
Tyson Gregory: Aiden, this is not me saying you aren’t good or that you aren’t talented. No, far from it. I fully expect a hell of a match from you.
Tyson holds up a hand to the camera, slowly lowering it.
Tyson Gregory: But… This is me telling you that against me? You’re not good enough, you’re not talented enough and you’re not going to be able to defeat me. But come on, I’m Tyson Fuckin Gregory…
He shrugs his shoulders a bit and smiles before walking off camera.

Aiden pins Tyson but the GWA Global Champion kicks out after two. Aiden can’t believe it as he shakes his head. He goes to hit the apron and he stands there, waiting for Ty to stir. Aiden springboards off the ropes, going for a second Flying Morrow Smash but this time, Gregory has it scouted and he levels Aiden with a superkick to the face. Tyson picks Aiden up and drops him with The End of Your Sorrow ( Lifting single underhook DDT). Tyson pins Aiden and picks up the three count and the win, successfully defending his GWA Global Championship. The bell rings and Tyson is handed his GWA Global Championship.
