The Division – Led by Julian Savell, this faction thrives on chaos and seeks to reshape wrestling in their image. For disruptors and dominant personalities.

My particular "background" creates a compelling narrative, both in and out of the ring.
KNOWN RELATIONSHIPS
Anthony DeStefano I - Father - "Businessman"
Tony’s father and a respected figure in the Italian-American community in Brooklyn. Sal is known for his stern, old-school values and has always encouraged Tony to stick with family traditions. Though he’s proud of his son’s talents, he occasionally pressures Tony to “remember where he came from” and maintain the family legacy.
Maria DeStefano - Mother - Homemaker/Community organizer
Tony’s mother, a warm and loving figure in his life. Maria is the heart of the DeStefano family, known for her cooking and her fierce loyalty to her loved ones. She supports Tony’s dreams but worries about the dangers of the wrestling world. Maria often tells Tony he has “a heart of gold” and tries to keep him grounded
Enzo "Uncle Enzo" Ricci - Family friend &
Uncle Enzo isn’t technically a blood relative, but he’s close enough to be considered family. Enzo was Tony Sr’s friend growing up and is considered family by all the DeStefanos. He’s a bit of an advisor to Tony Jr., always giving “life advice” that sounds suspiciously like veiled warnings. Enzo is a regular at Tony’s matches and cheers him on with the fervor of a proud uncle.
Mickey "Mitts" Santoro - Boxing coach/trainer
Mickey was Tony’s boxing coach and mentor. A grizzled old boxer with a thick Brooklyn accent, Mickey trained Tony since he was a kid and taught him the discipline and work ethic he now applies to wrestling. Mickey isn’t thrilled about Tony leaving boxing for wrestling but respects his decision. He still gives Tony tips and advice whenever they catch up.
Bruno “Big Bruno” Costa -
Bruno is a large, intimidating man who sometimes shows up to support Tony at his matches. Though technically a “business associate” of the family, he’s become a bit of an unofficial bodyguard and enforcer in Tony’s corner. Bruno doesn’t say much but makes his presence known, giving Tony a bit of extra confidence when he’s around.
CHARACTER HISTORY/BIO
Born in Italy but raised in Brooklyn, Tony DeStefano is a 21-year-old former Golden Gloves boxer trying to carve out his own path against the backdrop of a legacy he’s expected to uphold. Tony grew up in a close-knit Italian-American family with deep ties to their community and a “family business” that has been passed down through generations. The values he learned at home are deeply ingrained: loyalty, strength, and an unbreakable commitment to family. Yet, despite his family’s expectations, Tony is determined to create his own identity outside the family’s shadow.
From an early age, Tony had a natural talent for combat sports, channeling his energy and aggression into boxing. Under the guidance of his grizzled coach, Mickey “Mitts” Santoro, he quickly rose through the ranks, earning a Golden Gloves championship and making a name for himself as a hard-hitting, relentless fighter. However, despite his success in the ring, Tony found himself drawn to the world of professional wrestling, where he saw the opportunity to express himself with more freedom, athleticism, and showmanship than boxing allowed.
Transitioning from boxing to wrestling has not been an easy journey for Tony. He faced pushback from his father who envisioned a different future for him—one more aligned with family responsibilities. However, Tony’s mother, Maria, who sees the spark in her son’s eyes whenever he talks about wrestling, managed to convince the patriarch to give Tony his blessing, albeit with strict conditions. Tony is allowed to pursue his dream, but he must always be available to support the family business when called upon, travel with his bodyguard, Big Bruno, for “protection,” and agree to return to family obligations should his wrestling career falter.
With this “deal” in place, Tony’s path to wrestling is sure to be a complex one, fraught with tension, divided loyalty, and the constant balancing act of juggling two worlds that often collide. Yet, his desire to prove himself is stronger than his fears. He’s come to The Crucible with a burning ambition to make his own mark, independent of his family name. His wrestling style is a mix of brutal brawling and high-flying moves, reflective of both his boxing roots and his agility as an athlete. In the ring, Tony is relentless, with a presence that combines streetwise grit and a calculated ruthlessness inherited from his upbringing.
Despite his hardened exterior, Tony is driven by more than pride. Wrestling, to him, is a way to break free, to prove that he can achieve something on his own terms, and to show that he’s more than the family legacy he was born into. At The Crucible, he hopes to hone his skills, test his limits, and ultimately rise as a wrestler who commands respect not just because of his past, but because of the man he’s become in the ring.
