OPENING
The marquee of the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn glimmers in the twilight dusk as a four-door sedan pulls up to the curb. Thee right side rear door pops open and the newest signee to Liberty Pro Wrestling emerges, decked out in shimmering jewelry and designer clothes from head to toe. Cartier waves to some waiting fans and then turns back to the car where she sees her Aunt scowling at the crowd.
💎Cartier💎: “Auntie Bernice why you always gotta be so rude to people?”
Cartier pops out the back of the Lyft, followed by her two aunties Bernice and Ginny. From the front seat, Cartier’s mama climbs out and the three older women all look around bemused at the spectacle of the Barclay’s Center.
Mama: "Cartier don’t talk disrespectful to your auntie.”
💎Cartier💎: “Sorry Mama...

Mama: "Cartier don’t talk disrespectful to your auntie.”
💎Cartier💎: “Sorry Mama...
Cartier looks down dejectedly, kicking at some rocks in the gutter as she waits for her family to catch up.
Mama: “And why didn’t you get a ticket for your cousin?”
At this, Cartier looks visibly fumed.
💎Cartier💎: “Because CC a bitch, Mama! All she care about is her own self, askin’ me for money every day, I ain’t got time for no bullshit! I’m a businesswoman!”
Mama: “A businesswoman with a foul mouth! You watch that tongue when you talk to me, Cartier, or I’ll put you over my knee in front of all these people!”
💎Cartier💎: “Mama!”
Mama: “No! You wrong for that! Your cousin CC put you up in her house all this time and you can’t even get her into the show? Then you over here talkin’ this mess about her when she can’t defend herself? I raised you better!”
Cartier looks saddened by the tongue lashing from her mother. Shen turns away and instead looks up at the bright marquee just as here name scrolls across.
💎Cartier💎: “Mama, look! That’s me! Right here in Brooklyn, can you believe it?”
As if on cue, her aunties cut her off and walk right in front of her.
Bernice: “We’ll see if you on it NXT week though, young blood! Gotta win to be in!”
Ginny: “And you know she just on the opening match anyways, it ain’t like she famous.”
The two nearly identical women cackle as they continue to waddle up to the box office, pulling out the comp tickets Cartier gave to them in the car. Cartier’s mama follows them, looking disappointed at her daughter.
Mama: “And you shoulda been at church this morning. The reverend was countin’ on you when he put the plate around.”
💎Cartier💎: “Money is for me, Mama! I earned this, and I thank God every day for my life... but what he gonna do with it? Buy a Benzo up in Heaven? Money’s for Earth!”
Cartier’s mama looks like she might throw a backhanded slap across the young woman’s face, but instead she just shakes her head and continues toward the door.
Mama: “I’mma pray real hard for you.”
💎Cartier💎: “Yeah, you do that. I’m just gonna do me and win this match in my hometown, then send y’all home in a Uber so I can watch the rest of the show in peace. I needa watch all these other folks who after me on the show, because every week I’mma get better on ‘em, one at a time, ‘til it’s my name scrollin’ by as the main event. You watch.”
Cartier throws up deuces at her family’s backs, then heads for a side door of the Barclay’s Center, entering through a fire exit by flashing her credentials at the security there. Overheead, the marquee continues to shine:
TONIGHT! LIBERTY PRO PRESENTS: LIBERATION 37!
BACKSTAGE
We find Honey currently backstage, just finishing her hotdog as she’s got Cyrus with her. Once Honey swallows down her hotdog she looks left and right.
Honey: Ummm, where is Tim Anderson.
Cyrus: He had ‘A thing’ so that let’s us do a little interview with each other. Since your match is first, how’s about I interview you first?
Honey narrows her eyes, trying to be cautious but then shrugs.
Honey: Okey dokey.
With a happy smile to begin.
Cyrus: Alright, so… Honey… how do you feel about your opponent tonight? Being teammates and all?
Honey: We are very good teamies but I think that Helena and me will be a good tip top test! Like, she won the CanAm title in the battle royal and she has been one of the very best good girls in Liberty.
Honey taps her chin pensively.
Honey: I think this will be my biggest test yet!
Cy nods.
Cyrus: It very well could be. And are you prepared to do whatever it takes?
Honey nods.
Honey: Absolutely. I always wrestle fair in the square.
Cy looks at Honey with concern in his eyes.
Cyrus: What if she doesn't?
Honey chortles and playfully elbows Cyrus in the arm.
Honey: That’s a good one, Cyrus.
Cy laughs quietly, shaking his head.
Cyrus: Still something to think about, Honey. Not everyone has the same heart that you do.
Honey: But Helena is my teamie. I don’t think she would want to cheat and stuff.
He appears indifferent to her “seeing the good.”
Cyrus: Yeah, but you aren't teaming are you? It's one on one, sometimes people feel desperate to win by any means. Best to always be careful.
Honey: I will be. But if we're going to be tip top tag team partners we have to trust each other too and I think I can trust Helena.
She says with a bright, radiant smile.
Cyrus: I hope so, because you need that trust. Still, be aware, Honey… be very aware. People are intricate beings. You're a good person, don't forget that. Don't let the evil hit you like it does me.
He places a hand on her shoulder and nods as their scene fades out.

MATCH ONE: SINGLES
Cartier vs Seth Lawless
Cartier vs Seth Lawless
RECAP The two competitors square up in the middle of the ring. They lock up with Seth coming out on top, forcing Cartier to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Cartier is quick to break free of Seth's grip and she stands back up, only to meet Seth's outstretch foot with a big boot. On the mat, Cartier holds her face and rolls to her side. Seth drops to his knees, forcing Cartier to her back as he goes for a pin but Cartier kicks out after two. Seth quickly gets back on the attack, scoring a harsh kick to Cartier's back as she tries to stand. He pulls Cartier to her feet and nails her with a couple of punches, forcing her into the corner. Taking a few steps back, Seth smashes Cartier with a clothesline into the corner. Lawless then taunts the crowd and they boo him. He charges again, but Cartier dodges out of the way. Seth collides into the turnbuckle and drops to one knee, holding his chest from the impact. Cartier meanwhile stands at the ropes, taking a second to catch her breath. Seth gets back up but Cartier catches him with a pair of hard right hands. A third sent Seth up against the ropes. Cartier charges in, scoring a clothesline that sends both competitors to the outside of the ring. Cartier gets back to her feet first, pausing to gather herself as Seth crawls toward the ring steps. Cartier motions towards Seth, grabbing the back of Seth's head and forces him chest first into the barricade around the ring. Cartier then pushes Seth back into the ring. She gets in as well before picking Seth up and dropping him with a DDT. Cartier then steps back in the corner and waits for Seth to get to his feet. He gets up and Cartier chargee before taking his head off with Empire State of Mind (Kinshasa). Cartier pins Seth and picks up the three count and the win, getting the debut victory. BACKSTAGE
We find Honey backstage with Cyrus but the roles reversed as Honey has a pair of cinema 3D Glasses on she always had in her backpack in case she wanted to watch a movie to interview Cyrus.
Honey: Ok! It’s my turn now.
Honey then straightens her posture, settling into the role of journalist.
Honey: Mr. Cyrus. What’s your, like, feelings on your big BIG title match because I faced Ana before for the title and stuff! She’s very very strong!
Cy smirks, shrugging before he speaks.
Cyrus: Well, fun fact, I defeated Ana in 4CW when she was the number one contender for the championship, and tonight, I go into this match just as confident, just as assured, in knowing I have her number.
Honey gasps at the fun fact and nods understandingly.
Honey: Do you think that she has improved since, like, her time in 4CW?
Cyrus: Of course… she's the Liberty Champion, the 4CW Champion, and a bloody good wrestler. But I know I'm better.
Honey narrows her eyes, not familiar with the word and wondering if Cy swore.
Honey: And how happy will you be when you win the title?
Cyrus: Happy as fu…
Cy stops as Honey’s eyes get big, anticipating to scold him about his language. Cy clears his throat.
Cyrus: So happy that I may actually throw a celebration next week, and invite everyone who wishes to challenge me, to form a orderly line to get their ass handed to them.
Honey: I don’t think I would want that. Mine is quite comfortable where it is.
Cyrus: That's because you keep your head out of yours. Other people are too foolish to realize they don't measure up, and they stay on a mental path of invincibility… that's where I come in to make them human again.
Honey: Um, what other people?
Cyrus: Your partner, Voidstar, for one. He lives in his head, and if he thinks that table match was the end of us, he's mistaken.
Honey’s watch then beeps and she realises she’s going to be late for her match with a heavy inhale, putting her hands over her mouth.
Honey: I’m going to be late for my match against Helena!
Honey hands Cyrus off the microphone to Cyrus before she casually runs past him to not be late for her entrance.Honey runs after pressing her watch to turn off her alarm towards the ring curtain for her match when she collides with her opponent, Helena and both topple to the floor.
Honey: Oof!
The former CanAm Champion seems to be very annoyed at the accident, at least until she sees it was her Tag Team Partner Honey who bumped into her. And just like that, the stern look on her face softens into a smile. Quickly getting back up on her feet, she offers her hand to help Honey standing up as well.
Helena Noir: Looks like someone’s in a rush…
Honey uses Helena to stand back up straight with a little rub off her forearm but doesn't seem phased by the knock.
Honey: Are you OK, Helena? I'm very sorry I bumped into you!
Helena Noir: I’m fine, don’t worry…
She dusts herself off, and the look on her face suddenly shifts to a serious one.
Helena Noir: I guess your ambush attempt didn’t go as you expected young girl…
Honey shakes ever head frantically.
Honey: No no no no no I wasn't trying to do that! I was, like, trying to make sure I got here on time and was ready to give you a fun match.
Honey says smiling and dusting her teamie’s shoulders off. Helena offers her a smile, nodding her head.
Helena Noir: I know Honey, I was just kidding. As for our match… You’re not going to hold anything back just because we are tag partners, are you?
Honey: Nope.
She says shaking her head but then twiddles her fingers wondering something. Helena frowns a little, curious about what’s going through her mind.
Helena Noir: Everything ok, Honey? It looks like you’re worried about something.
Honey: Um, well Cyrus said, like, a moment ago to be, like, careful of you and stuff because of cheating. But we're the good girls of liberty and we fight fair when we fight in the square!
Honey says nodding with full belief and a little determined smirk.
Helena Noir: Oh really? Cyrus said so?
She shakes her head.
Helena Noir: Well, I don't even have to tell you not to listen to him. You know me, you know that I don't take shortcuts, and that I don't cheat. I'm your tag team partner, and your friend. To be honest, I don't really like the idea of fighting you.
Honey's eyes widen.
Honey: Me too!! I wondered why we were facing each other and stuff. I thought maybe it was, like, a mistake.
She gives a light shrug of her shoulders before answering.
Helena Noir: I don't care much about what Mr Callaghan was thinking when he booked the match. And I don't care about what he, or anyone’s thinks of me. I see this match as a chance, a opportunity to get to know each other better in the ring. And hopefully finding that chemistry we are still looking for.
Honey nods, understanding.
Honey: That's a very very good point. Maybe Nathan wants us to test ourselves so we can be, like, much better teamies in Liberty!
Honey then puts her arm around Helena.
Honey: You're alright, Helena.
She says quoting one of her dad's older TV shows. Helena laughs again, lowering her head.
Helena Noir: You're not bad yourself Honey.
She cracks her smile, looking down at her partner. Honey smiles back up at her as they walked towards the curtain to fight against one another in a few short moments.

MATCH TWO: SINGLES
Helena Noir vs Honey
Helena Noir vs Honey
RECAP As the bell sounds Helena meets Honey in the center of the ring and after sizing her up she extends a hand for a respectful shake. The crowd pops for the show of respect, but Honey one ups her by lunging in and wrapping her up in a tight hug! Helena seems out of her element but pats Honey on the back politely as Honey hops up and down in place while grinning ear to ear in the hug. Finally, the referee gets them to separate and Honey looks excited to compete against her good friend, smiling around her sunshine mouth guard as she slips it in over her teeth. Helena moves in for an initial burst, dropping low for a single leg takedown, but Honey’s strong MMA training gets her out of harm’s way with a step back sprawl, nearly catching Helena in a facelock. Helena switches gears and moves for a traditional collar and elbow tie up, which Honey is happy to oblige. With Helena having a size, strength, and experience advantage, she swiftly gains the upper hand and pushes Honey back into a corner, but she’s caught off guard when Honey transitions into a quick arm wringer, her youthful speed coming in handy as she scales the turnbuckles lucha-style and leaps off with a picture-perfect top rope arm drag that sends Noir skidding across the ring. Honey looks to take advantage of Helena being stunned and she races across the ring, hops up onto the buckles again and leaps off with a twisting body press, catching Helena flush for a pinning combination, but Helena rolls through after only a one count and reverses into a pin of her own, forcing Honey to kick out at two! Helena gets to her feet quickly but Honey isn’t far behind, and when Helena throws a haymaker of a clothesline Honey dodges and leaps onto Helena’s back, locking in a body scissor while bending her arm back into a hammerlock! She locks in the Honeycomb Hug in the middle of the ring and Helena is in agony! Honey wrenches the hold on tight, but Noir is digging deep and hanging in there, not willing to tap even though her arm is twisted into a profane angle. Helena steps toward the ropes, and again, and finally takes a third tumbling step toward the ropes, falling into them and forcing a break. Honey immediately releases the hold and steps back when the referee tells her to. Once Helena gets back to her feet though, Honey bounces the ropes and comes leaping at her with a flying HIYA knee... but Helena has it scouted and sidesteps, sending Honey crashing to the mat. A dazed Honey sits up right into a shining wizard from Helena, who then quickly gathers Honey up and flings her to the ropes, dropping her again with a sling blade! Helena in full control thanks to her ring experience, the grabs Honey again and sets her up, holding her head as she rushes to the corner... Stay Gold! The sliced bread variant lands clean and Honey is hooked for a pin... one... two... Honey cradles into a reversal! Another two count before Helena reverses her leverage once more into a jacknife pin, which Honey pops out of at one to schoolgirl Helena once more! Helena rolls through at two, and the crowd applauds for the technical exchange as both women get to their feet. Honey then stuns Helena with a kick to the midsection and sets her up for a DDT! Thinking quickly though, Helena drops to her knees, freeing herself, and then lunges upward, catching Honey right under the chin with a headbutt! Honey is staggered and Helena shows great awareness, cradling Honey off the ground and driving her headfirst in a DDT of her own, then transitioning smoothly into a bodylock guillotine choke! Honey has nowhere to go and after a moment of struggle she finally taps out, giving the hard-fought win to Helena Noir! As soon as the ref breaks them up Helena checks on her friend to make sure she’s okay, and honey nods groggily that she’s fine, once again embracing Helena as the official announcement is made. Katie Anderson is sits in a chair as she laces up up her boots, she ignores the camera as she finishes. She finally looks into the camera and smirks.
Katie Anderson: So Aubrey Grimes, you actually think you have a chance? You think that you have a snowflakes chance in hell at beating me?
She laughs
Katie Anderson: Oh Aubrey...poor poor Aubrey, you are so naive,so nice believe it or not I use to be just like you. I use to try to be nice to everyone,I tried to be a good person and all it ever got me was hurt. All it ever got me was heartache.
She stands and stretches as she looks into the camera.
Katie Anderson: Like you I thought Melissa Reeves had my back, I thought she cared what happened to me. And then she proved me wrong just like tonight she won't be there for you. You think you're sticking up for a friend, but she'll let you down just like she lets everyone down.
She stands straight after streaching.
Katie Anderson: I actually kinda like you Aubrey, I see a lot of my old self in you...that's why it's going to be fun beating your ass in that ring.
She smirks confidently
Katie Anderson: I'm not over looking you, I'm not taking you lightly I'm just looking past you, you are just another opponent, you're just another way for me to hurt Melissa. She may think we're done playing but we're far from it!
Katie reaches into her bag and puts a t-shirt on over her ring attire.
Katie Anderson: Very soon Aubrey we'll get to play, it will be fun! Well for me anyway, because when you step into the ring across from me you are gonna feel my anger with every punch, you are gonna experience my hatred with every hold, and in the end you will fold like a piece of paper.
She walks toward the door and opens it, she stops before exiting.
Katie Anderson: So be ready Aubrey, come at me with everything you've got because it won't be enough, tonight is my night, tonight my had will be raised in victory. But hey there's always next time right? It's not personal it just business.
Katie smirks as she walks out of the room and the camera fades to black.

BACKSTAGE
Aubrey Grimes is found backstage, stretching for her match. She stretches her arms first, followed by her legs. She spots a camera in front of her and with a huge smile on her face, she begins to speak.
Aubrey: For those who are wondering....my honeymoon was absolutely amazing! It definitely ended way too soon, that’s for sure. And I know, you all are probably thinking I’m completely exhausted from the ride all the way from Cost Rica to here in New York, but I actually feel quite rested and ready to go.
She nods in reassurance.
Aubrey: I’ve never felt any better and more relaxed and I’m completely ready to take on Cass Baumer and Brendan Callaghan, with my tag bestie, Melissa Reeves!
She giggles with a sweet smile on her face.
Aubrey: I have to say, Mel and I have been doing pretty good as your Liberty Tag Team Champions, regardless of a few minor hiccups. I think we’ve proven ourselves well as a team. I know I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s a complete honor to be working along Mel’s side and having her back. I never thought I would ever have to opportunity and I can never think of a better way to team with not only my best friend but a woman who has helped me on my journey back into the ring.
She grabs her half of the Liberty Tag title off the box that was next to her and rests it on her shoulder.
Aubrey: I know that our opponents are two talented people. I look forward to stepping into the ring with them. I know going into this match we have the respect of our opponents and they have ours. Unlike last week.....I see that this will hopefully go fair and far better without any kind of interruptions. Completely ridiculous.
She sighs.
Aubrey: But as usual, we’ll all be prepared just in case. So Cass....Brendan.....I know we are all going out there tonight and giving each other our best. I expect nothing less. But...just like mine and Mel’s last matches, you all will fall short. This is still our time!
She flashes another big smile and by this time, Aubrey’s husband, Corey steps into view. They two embrace in a hug and share a kiss, before he helps place the title around her waist. The two link arms before walking off.

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Aubrey Grimes vs Katie Anderson
Aubrey Grimes vs Katie Anderson
RECAP This match starts off with the two women meeting in the center of the ring, staring one another down before Aubrey Grimes looks to start this contest off with a test of strength. Katie Anderson brings her hand up, going to meet Aubrey's, but she rears back and slaps Grimes across the face! The slap turns Grimes around and Anderson gets a waist lock on her, but Aubrey recovers quickly enough to start throwing some elbows back into Katie's face to break free. Aubrey turns around, throwing forearms now, and she gets Katie into a headlock. Anderson backs Grimes into the ropes, getting free as she sends Aubrey across the ring, but it's countered and Katie goes across the ring instead, catching Grimes with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takedown. But Grimes kips up to her feet! Aubrey goes for a kick at Katie on the mat, but Anderson ducks it and rolls Grimes up from behind, pulling her tights for some leverage! She gets a two count but despite the extra help, Katie can't secure the three on Aubrey, and Grimes is able to roll back onto Anderson for a two count. As they get up, Aubrey goes for a clothesline, but Katie goes underneath it, getting Grimes in another waist lock, and meeting the same result as last time as Anderson is drilled with elbows to the side of the head. Grimes throws Anderson into the ropes, but Katie catches herself, springboarding backwards with a back elbow to take Aubrey down! As Anderson gets up, she starts to stomp onto the back of Grimes's head, showing her opponent the utmost disrespect before lifting her up, and slamming Aubrey face first into the top turnbuckle rung. Katie sends Aubrey into the opposite corner and charges in with a running forearm strike. She backs up, looking for another one, but Aubrey is right on Katie's tail and Grimes throws her own forearm that stuns Anderson. Grimes rolls to the outside, pulling Anderson down from the corner, and slamming her left leg right into the ring post! As Anderson falls outside, Grimes lifts her up for a vertical suplex right onto the outside floor! Aubrey gets back up, targeting that left leg of Katie's by stomping right onto it in an attempt to limit her high flying arsenal. As the referee's count gets near a ten, Aubrey rolls her opponent into the ring, and starts to twist Katie's ankle before placing it down and driving both of her knees into that leg. She lifts Katie up, hitting a snapmare before hitting the ropes, and connecting with a big front dropkick. Grimes pushes Anderson down for a pin but she only gets a two count as Katie kicks out. Aubrey goes to lift Katie up, but gets raked in the eyes instead! Using the ropes to assist her, Katie grabs hold of Aubrey for a tornado DDT! Grimes rolls over and Anderson hits a baseball slide to send Aubrey rolling to the outside. Katie steps out onto the apron, waiting for Aubrey to get to her feet, and when Grimes does, Anderson goes flying with a springboard moonsault right onto her opponent! As Anderson gets up, she slaps the back of Grimes's head, egging her to get up, and yelling right at her. Grimes explodes to her feet, going for a clothesline, but Anderson ducks it and pulls Aubrey in for a powerslam right onto the floor! Katie rolls into the ring and yells at the referee to start the count as Aubrey is on the outside trying to recover. The fans are trying to encourage Grimes up to her feet, but she's having some difficulty getting there. Inside the ring, Anderson is just smirking, knowing she's got this bout won as the referee's count draws closer but at the absolute last second, Aubrey rolls right into the ring to break the count! Katie looks furious with this as she charges over and wastes no time landing a standing moonsault onto Aubrey! Anderson hooks the legs. She gets a two count but Grimes kicks out. Anderson is still pissed off as she picks Grimes up, drilling her with a series of forearms that knocks her into the ropes. Katie runs, looking to clothesline Aubrey out of the ring, but Grimes recovers in time for a dropkick right to Anderson's leg! Katie rolls into the corner and Aubrey charges in with another dropkick! She rolls back, taking a few seconds to catch her breath, and Aubrey watches as Katie starts to pull herself up to her feet. They meet in the center of the ring where Katie tries for another blatant rake of the eyes, but Aubrey avoids it! She delivers a kick to Katie's leg, bringing it up in pain, and Aubrey grabs onto it for a dragon screw. Aubrey looks like she’s setting up for Blonde Ambition but Samantha Tolson runs down the entrance ramp and jumps on the apon. Aubrey kicks Samantha off but Katie drops Grimes with a reverse DDT. Katie looks to have the match in hand but Melissa Reeves, Aubrey’s tag partner, sprints down the ramp with a focused look on her face. Tolson gets to her feet and Melissa spears her to the ground. Melissa starts to beat down on Samantha and Katie is distracted, yelling at Reeves to get off. This gives Aubrey the chance to hit Katie with Blonde Ambition (Reverse roundhouse kick). Grimes then pins Katie and picks up the three count and the win. Meanwhile, Reeves and Samantha are still fighting back and forth but backstage personnel right down to the ring and separate the two. Melissa escapes their grasp for a moment and she tackles Sam down but Melissa is pulled back away again. The two yell at each other as Melissa is pulled backstage with Aubrey following along, trying to calm her partner. Rusty: “Ho-lee shit! Look at you, Kid!”
The scene cut in to Felix, the US Championship around his waist, polished and shined, pausing temporarily to pose for dramatic effect with his fists propped up on his hips, looking away dramatically before letting out a laugh, his manager smacking him across his broad back.
Rusty: “Good. You’re gonna need that energy tonight. Latimer’s a former champ and a mean son of a bitch in the ring. White boy thinks a luchador, and that peckerwood can scrap harder than most can. Sure you’re ready for that?”
Felix lifted his shoulders and then dropped them.
Felix: “I’m gonna do what I got to, Rust. I watched the tapes. I’m ready for it.”
Rusty: “You sure? You’re not still moping about Ja--”
Felix: “I said, I’m ready for it.”
Rusty looked a little unsure but shrugged nonetheless.
Rusty: “Hey. I’m not gonna question it, Champ! You say you’re ready, then you’re ready. Just, we need to make sure.”
Felix gave a wave of his hand, as if brushing it off, letting that hand rest at the gold on his waist.
Felix: “I know, Russ. I appreciate, I appreciate you. I’m not moping about anyone, my head’s in the game two hundred percent, from the padwork to the weights, to getting prepped. I’m not taking this even sorta lightly. Scotty’s my first defense, the first real test of what I gotta defend against. I dig it.”
The older man clapped a hand on his back then, smirking as he pulled on his sunglasses almost in tandem with Felix then.
Rusty: “Let’s do this shit, then.”
The two laughed at how utterly ridiculous they were being as they walked off screen, prepared to defend the title!

Another Liberty show…..another title opportunity for Scotty Latimer. We find the #FutureElite once again taping up to get ready for his opportunity at the US championship against Felix Graves..a very proud champion. At least this match wouldn't end like the Gotham title match did...with Riley Sweet taking the easy way out to retain her title. But that was the breaks in the business.
The eyes of Latimer showed a changing Scotty...but there was one calming influence for him in Carter Phillips who was really doing great with her A Chat with Carter podcast. Focused at the task at hand Scotty stands up and walks into the hallway. Carter was standing there working the room lining up guests it seems. One of the people she was talking to saw Scotty and gave him a nod forcing Carter to turn around and see her boyfriend standing there. Carter dismissed who she was talking to with a friendly goodbye as she turns to look at Scotty.
Carter: Hi honey.
She gives him a friendly smile as she approaches closer towards her boyfriend and greets him with a quick kiss on the lips.
Carter: I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon.
Scotty: Lining up future guests?
Scotty looks around to see if anyone was around. They were but no attention was being given to them. Carter could tell something was bothering him as she took a step closer while looking up at him with her brow furrowed in a worried manner.
Carter: Is everything okay?
Scotty takes her by the hand and walks into a room off to the side.
Scotty: Oh nothing...lost my best friend. Seems like everyone I get close to eventually leaves. And...instead of thinking about the US title match against Felix all I can think about is that.
Scotty looked down to the floor as his irritation and anger started coming through. Carter gives his hand a squeeze as she reaches out with her other hand to rub over his shoulder and his arm trying to hopefully soothe him a little bit.
Carter: I’m sorry. I know that’s been hard on you.
She pauses for a moment as she looks down before she looks back up at him to give him a bit of a smile that she hopes will be enough to put one on his face.
Carter: I’m not going anywhere though. You’re pretty stuck with me.
Scotty sighs.
Scotty: Honey….I wasn't ensuing you were going to leave one day. I just….It's just dumb. I have an opportunity to become US champion in Brooklyn...my home...and all of this petty bullshit is what I'm focused on right now. I gotta get my mind on business.
Scotty kisses her on the cheek and goes to leave, but Carter is still holding onto his hand, and she pulls on it a bit to make sure that he doesn’t walk away.
Carter: I know it’s hard to turn your brain off sometimes, but I think all of that is going to change when you step foot inside of that ring.
Scotty smiles as he squeezed it. He didn't want to trouble her anymore. Besides a lot of this could be saved for his turn on her podcast.
Scotty: You're right. When I get in there and hear the crowd my mind will be straight. Then it will be all about the moment. See you later ok?
Carter: Good luck out there.
She gives him another smile before she leans in to kiss him.
Carter: I’ll be rooting for you.
Scotty smiles. He squeezed her hand as long as he could before finally walking away as Carter watches him..hey eyes showing concern.

MATCH FOUR: SINGLES
Felix Graves vs Scotty Latimer
Felix Graves vs Scotty Latimer
RECAP The match starts off with an ultra focused and aggressive Scotty attacking Felix right from the sound of the bell, backing Graves into the corner. Scotty lands a few hard shots up to the four count and Felix is dazed and somewhat surprised in the corner. Scotty goes right back at Graves but Felix dodges the leaping splash and Latimer goes face first into the corner. Graves drops Scotty with a dropkick before he drops a knee to the back of Scotty’s head. Felix stays on the offensive by grabbing Scotty’s head in a front facelock, looking to control him. Scotty tries to grab the ropes but he’s too far away, so instead, he powers his way out of the move, catching Felix by surprise and dropping him with a straight roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Scotty doesn’t go for the cover, instead looks to dish out more damage by mounting Felix and hammering down on him with right hands, it’s obvious he’s frustrated after what happened during his previous match with Riley Savell. Scotty gets off of Felix and Graves starts crawling away but Latimer is right there on him, grabbing his foot but Graves rolls on his back and catching Scotty with a swift kick to the jaw, stunning him and pulling him down for an inside cradle, getting a two count. Both men to their feet before Felix charges at Scotty and leaping up, grabbing his head and dropping him with a sling blade, Scotty slowly gets up right into a superkick that knocks him back into the ropes and stumbling forward into a big boot from Felix, knocking Latimer down and potentially out for the cover, but Scottymanages to kick out at two! Felix seems annoyed and grabs Scotty, who pushes him back and doubles Felix over with an elbow to the gut before pulling him up and dropping him down with a brainbuster. Felix stumbles to his feet and Scotty takes him out with a slingblade of his own. Latimer is really starting to feel momentum shift in his favor but Riley Savell’s theme music hits and she appears at the top of the entrance way. Scotty looks over at Riley and begins to yell at her but she simply smirks and waves. Riley then points behind Scotty, telling him to turn around but it’s too late and Felix takes Latimer out with The Second Amendment (An arm caught/irish whip meathook clothesline). Felix pins Scotty and picks up the three count and the win, successfully defending his US Championship. Riley simple laughs before she walks backstage, leaving Felix to celebrate as Scotty gets up, looking as frustrated as ever. Warren Corbett: “You have to admit, I was damn close.”
At first, there’s nothing but darkness, and the all too familiar voice of the WAR machine himself booming through the speakers. A moment later, and the scene flickered to life. Usually, you’d see him surrounded by family members, followers even. But currently, there’s nobody standing in front of the camera except for Warren himself.
Warren Corbett: “I’ve beaten Ana Hayden once before, and I was THIS close to doing it again. The only person in Liberty to do it the first time, and I would have been the only person to do it a second. Of course, when the Liberty Championship was on the line, I couldn’t get the job done. Sure, I’ll give you a round of applause for that, Ana, but it ends there.”
He shook his head, allowing a little smirk to spread across his face as he took his hands from the front pocket of his hoodie. He twisted each wrist.
Warren Corbett: “You retained, but if I was in your shoes I would have walked away from that match a bit nervous. Not only have I defeated you before, but I was VERY close to taking your belt at Let Freedom Ring. You talked a big game right before, telling Liberty how I basically didn’t stand a chance despite previously putting you through a table and pinning your shoulders to the mat at Genesis. You thought it’d be so easy, but the tape doesn’t lie. That should scare you a little, especially knowing that I’m not letting up.”
He turned, glancing up to the camera once again.
Warren Corbett: “If you thought our match would end things between us, that I suddenly wouldn’t want the Liberty Championship and I’d allow you to have free reign, you’re sadly mistaken. I’ve been with Liberty since day one, where my family and I were among the last ones in that Liberty Championship battle royal. A battle royal my sister won. We’ve laid claim to it three times over the year before you finally got your hands on it, but ONLY because of a little briefcase after a main event match, AND an attack. It still amazes me that THE GREAT Ana Hayden, and all the amazing things she thinks about herself, needed those precursors to even get the belt on her shoulder.”
Pausing, he looked to his own shoulder, where the Anarchy Championship had been for a good portion of the year. Now, nothing hung upon the same shoulder, though it wasn’t too hard to picture the Liberty Championship there.
Warren Corbett: “With all your words, you’d think you would have done it out right, instead of sneaking away with it. You proved you needed to sneak, especially watching your match in Full Force. Your title win was never a triumph, it showed your true colors, and I used that to beat you at Genesis. You got me this time, but I know who you are now, Ana. I know EXACTLY who you are.”
He pointed to the camera with aggression, before reeling himself back in. That would certainly be an issue from here on out. Becky had always held the reigns, allowing them loose when it was beneficial, but now Warren had to hold his own reigns.
Warren Corbett: “And sure, you can go ahead and make the case that it was never me in the title picture. It was never Warren Corbett as Liberty Champion, and on top of that, #TheSociety name is dead, so really I never had a claim to it. If you look back at my work here, I’m still the greatest Anarchy Champion that Liberty has seen. I took that division, I made it my own, and then I outgrew it. The CWC Trios Championships, the CWC Tag Team Championships that I defended by MYSELF on multiple occasions. I was the very last member of my team standing in our War Games match, and I WON it for us. I won my number one contendership to get to you, and tonight, I’ll win it again.”
He placed a hand upon his left shoulder, rolling it and forming a fist. It was only for a few seconds, before he switched sides and did the same.
Warren Corbett: “Whoever is trying to make the case that Warren Corbett is nothing without #TheSociety, needs to take a look back. I’ve always been someone who can stand on his own, I just fought alongside my family whenever I could. I’ve always been that member that’s slightly different. You take a look at my feed and there’s many a time people claimed me to be a step above. That’s not for me to say, I still respect my family and I will until the day I die. But if you’re banking on me failing without my family, you’re going to wind up face first in the ground. I’ve been in the ring with you multiple times, Melissa, but most of them are tag matches of some sort. This will be the first time we get to trade hands as ourselves. Not exactly though, since Sam Tolson will also be in this match. You two have more against each other, and there can be a case made that I shouldn’t be in this match, to let you two duke it out. However, that would automatically make me number one contender, because let’s face it, I’m the ONLY one within Liberty that can dethrone Ana. You two can fight each other all you want, I’m gunning for the Liberty Championship and if I have to put down BOTH of you to get there, I will.”
He stared directly into the camera, as if he was staring into your soul.

Kristina Spencer vs Voidstar W/Cass Baumer as special guest referee
RECAP The match between Kristina Spencer and Voidstar with Kristina sliding out of the ring. She gets under it and grabs a chair before sliding back in. She goes to swing the chair at Voidstar but Baumer trips Kristina and she stumbles forward. Cass points at her and laughs before Voidstar levels Spencer with a clothesline. Voidstar picks the chair up and slams it over Spencer’s back several times until he bends it in half. Voidstar then pins Spencer and Baumer drops down and makes a very fast two count but Kristina kicks out before three. Cass is surprised as Voidstar shrugs his shoulders and he gets up on his feet. He looks to set up Kristina for The Abyss (packaged piledriver) but Cyrus Riddle slides into the ring with a sledgehammer and he slams it across Voidstar’s back. Void drops down to his knee and Cyrus goes to swing the wooden of the sledgehammer across Void’s back and it slams across it with authority before the wooden handle snaps in half. Cyrus is surprised it breaks in half but he smirks and shrugs before tossing it to the side. Spencer starts to come to and she sees Cyrus there but Riddle laughs before rolling out of the ring and heading to the back. Kristina turns around and she’s met by a running knee strike from Baumer. Backstage now and Tim Anderson is making his way down one of the arena corridors. He arrives at a door and softly pushes it open. Inside the room, Melissa Reeves is warming up alongside a few other Liberty stars. She's wearing her ring attire and has her headphones on.
Tim: Ladies and gentlemen tonight we will see the former Liberty champ, Melissa Reeves, taking on both Warren Corbett and Samantha Tolson in a triple threat match to determine the number one contender to face Ana Hayden for that very title. I was hoping to get a word with Melissa...
He waves to her.
Tim: Mel?
She looks up, but away again. With the music in her headphones she doesn't hear his questions. Tim crouches and Mel shakes her head. From the look on her face, she's not in the mood to talk. Tim stands again and awkwardly looks at the camera, straightening his jacket.
Tim: Well I think she's busy, maybe I'll leave her to it. Um. What's that? Yes, okay. Sorry about that, folks. Um. On with the next segment.
He gives the cameraman a death stare whilst motioning with his hands to roll on. The scene abruptly cuts.

Backstage, we see Cartier returning to the locker room soon after showering and getting herself together after a hard fought match with her first-ever Liberty opponent, Seth Lawless.
As she opens up her locker, something heavy clunks against the metal door. She swings it open and a bottle of maple syrup falls forward, making her have to think fast and catch it, nearly losing her towel.
💎Cartier💎: "What the fuck?"
Cartier looks at the bottle, which has a little note attached with nothing other than a scribbled heart written on it. She laughs out loud at the syrup.
💎Cartier💎: "Well... at least it's Mrs. Butterworth's and not Aunt Jemima."
Cartier sets the bottle on the wooden bench and pulls her bag out of the locker, still cackling and shaking her head.

MATCH SIX: #1 CONTENDER FOR THE LIBERTY CHAMPIONSHIP
Warren Corbett vs Melissa Reeves vs Samantha Tolson
Warren Corbett vs Melissa Reeves vs Samantha Tolson
RECAP The bell sounds and the match with huge implications is underway. The three circle the ring, waiting for someone to make the first move, and it ends up being Samantha Tolson as she rolls right out of the ring, more than accepting of letting the other two start the match. Warren Corbett watches and that's when Melissa blasts him with a running forearm shot. Corbett doesn't go down, but he's taken off guard as Melissa backs him into the corner, throwing more forearms at him. Melissa backs up a bit before running in, looking for a cornered clothesline, but Warren gets his boot up and trades places with Melissa. Corbett drills Melissa with a European uppercut before ramming his shoulder into Mel's midsection. Samantha can only watch on from the outside as she lets these two stars go at it. Pulling Melissa out of the corner, Warren sends her to the center of the ring with a hip toss. Warren goes for a running elbow drop and holds on for a pin, but barely gets a one count with it. As Corbett starts to get up, Tolson sees her chance to strike, and comes into the ring with a chop block to take Corbett down. Sam hits a kneeling reverse DDT on Warren and turns to the recovering Melissa. She charges her and Melissa is ready as she grabs Sam with ease and throws her over the top rope. Mel walks over to Warren and picks him up before whipping him across the ring and when he bounces off of the ropes, Mel drops him with a slingblade. Picking Corbett up again, Mel gets hit with a forearm shot that staggers him back but then Warren charges with a clothesline that sends both competitors to the outside. The two recover and start dueling with forearms on the outside. Neither one is getting an advantage, but that doesn't stop them until Sam reappears back on the apron. She spots the two before running off with a senton and she crashes down onto the two.Slowly recovering, Sam lifts Reeves up with her and she manages to roll Melissa into the ring. Back in the ring, Melissa has pulled herself up in the corner and Sam heads over, throwing some more forearms at Mel. Dropping her to the bottom of the corner, Sam starts stomping Mel before hitting the corner and closing in with a boot right across Reeves’ face. She tries pulling Mel out of the corner, but Warren has returned with a German suplex that sends Sam flying across the ring and rolling into the corner. Corbett looks at the two before running with a cannonball senton to Mel and then rushing for another one on Tolson. He pulls Sam from the corner before making a pin, but he only gets a two with it. He lifts her up and brings Tolson right back down with a pumphandle slam but after, Melissa catches Corbett off guard as she spins him around right into a massive DDT! But she's not done there as she drags Warren back up and Mel somehow lifts him up and hits the Reaver Slam (Angle Slam), showing great strength as she takes out the big man. Reeves goes for the cover and it looks like she has the match in hand but no! Katie Anderson, Sam Tolson’s wife, comes from out of nowhere and she breaks it up. Katie and Sam both begin to stomp away at Melissa but wait! Aubrey Grimes is now in the ring. She spears Katie down and starts to wail on her but Tolson pulls Aubrey off and drops her with a reverse DDT. Melissa is back up and she hits Tolson with Facial Deconstructor (codebreaker) but before Mel can pin, Corbett tosses her out of the ring. Warren drops down and pins Samantha and picks up the three count and the win. WINNER Warren Corbett METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 14:19 FINISHING MOVE Facial Deconstructor |

Going in the back, the camera focuses on Anastasia Hayden with her Liberty Championship resting on her shoulder. There's a hint of a smirk on her face as she looks at the camera; ready to address the audience.
Anastasia Hayden: "What an eventful night, right? First I get to watch and find out who my next challenger will be...and I'll get to be part of Warren Corbett trying once more to capture the Liberty Championship...and I'll get to be part of making sure he doesn't. It's that simple. And I've got no issue with that. Getting a chance to wrestle against someone like Warren is an experience and one I'm not going to shy away from. He's got one on me, but every time when it's mattered most? I've got him."
A strong nod of confidence from Ana.
Anastasia Hayden: "So, I look forward to seeing you again, Warren, but now I'll be standing across from someone else I'm very familiar with. Cyrus Riddle. A man who I've come across twice and those two times? He's beaten me. And I'm not ashamed to admit that. There's no excuses to be made. All I can do is simply observe what he did next with his opportunities and you know what he did? He failed. Each and every single time, Cyrus failed. In 4CW, he was part of the 'Crooked Kingdom' and he latched on like the parasite that he is."
She offers up a look of disgust to erase the arrogant grin that was once on her face.
Anastasia Hayden: "But failing with them wasn't enough...he needed a new host to infest. So he's here in Liberty, he's associating himself with The Society. I don't need to tell you that's a bad idea, but hey...you do what you need to do in order to stay relevant, Cyrus. Once upon a time, you were a big deal, Cyrus, but that's gone and if you're going to use beating me as your crutch? The future's looking bleak. You did a great job, but tonight? With MY Liberty Championship on the line?"
Ana taps the faceplate of the Liberty Championship with a slight grin returning.
Anastasia Hayden: "That streak of yours ends tonight. 2018 has been my year of dominating The Society and it isn't stopping anytime soon. Keep my name in your mouth, Cyrus, because that's all you'll have after tonight. The Liberty Championship though?"
A shake of the head.
Anastasia Hayden: "That's staying with the champ."
She holds up the belt for a moment before walking off as the camera cuts elsewhere.

Anastasia Hayden vs Cyrus Riddle
Anastasia Hayden vs Cyrus Riddle
RECAP As soon as the bell rings, the two competitors who know each other quite well are right at each other’s throats with dueling forearms to the chest. Ana gets the upper hand after blatantly raking Cyrus’s eyes and backing him into the ropes and then hitting him with a leaping side kick. Cyrus stumbles out of the corner and Hayden drops Riddle with a dropkick. Hayden tries for a pin, but Riddle breaks out almost immediately. Back on their feet, Riddle takes Hayden’s feet out from under her and tries for an elbow, but Ana rolls out of the way. Popping back up, Ana tries for a penalty kick, but Cyrus grabs Hayden’s leg and then shoves her down onto the canvas. Cy puts Hayden into a single leg crab wrenches it for only a second, but Riddle has to release the hold as Hayden reaches the ropes. Cyrus tries going after Ana, but she wisely tangles herself up in the ropes and the referee has to keep Riddle at bay. Which gives Hayden the opportunity to rise back up and blast Riddle with a forearm smash. Ana then drops Cyrus with a snap DDT before she lifts Cyrus back up. Ana whips him into the corner, and runs in with her cornered yazuka kick. Slumping to the bottom, Riddle gets blasted yet again as Hayden meets him with a facewash. Up to the top, Ana steadies herself before coming off looking for her Romanov Grave! But Cyrus rolls out of the way, back up to his feet, and planting a kick to Ana’s midsection before hitting the ropes and hitting her with Daydreamer (Hard lariat to back of opponent's head). Riddle goes for the cover but Hayden manages to kick out before the three count, showing her resiliency as the Liberty Champion. Cyrus shakes his head as Ana just gets her shoulder up. Not ready to argue the count, Riddle goes back to work as he picks Hayden up, and hooks her head, looking to lift her up for a cradle DDT, but Ana fights out of it with shots to Cyrus’s ribs. Ana catches Cyrus with a nasty elbow that knocks him back and a dropkick to the knee brings Riddle down. Hayden hits the ropes and connects with The Magnolia Knee (Bicycle Knee)! But she can’t make a pin as Riddle wisely rolls out of the ring, causing Hayden to yell out in anger. On the outside, Cyrus starts recovering and as he does, Ana’s friend and sidekick, Isabella Strickland, is right in front of him. Strickland stays back, but that doesn’t stop Riddle from blasting her with a hard elbow. But Riddle can’t attack any further as Ana flies out of the ring with a suicide dive that sends her and Cyrus down. Hayden gets back up, throwing Riddle into the ring, and as Ana slides in, Cyrus’s back on his feet and blasts Ana with a shining wizard! Cy tries for a cover and hooks Ana’s legs but he only gets a two count as Hayden wisely grabs the bottom rope. Lifting Ana to her feet, Cyrus throws a hard elbow, but Hayden fires right back, only to get caught with a flying armbar! And Riddle maneuvers it into a triangle choke. It’s locked in tight. But Ana’s able to roll over and pin Cyrus’s shoulders on the mat, forcing a break before the three count. Back to her feet, Ana’s still dazed as she’s quickly dropped back down with a leg lariat from Cyrus. Grabbing Hayden by her head, Riddle positions himself toward the corner, looking for something big here. The Liberty Champion gets to her feet and Riddle charges but Ana dodges his attack before hitting the rope sherself. When Cyrus turns around, Ana nails him with She Was Only Seventeen (running single leg dropkick). Hayden pins Riddle and picks up the three count and the win, successfully defending her Liberty Championship. Riley Sweet sits on the floor of her locker room, her left leg is extended and put up on the bench, her match approved brace sits locked around her knee, covering her wrestling tights. She’s already dressed to compete and is stretching out her injuries, hoping to wake her body up enough before the match. After a moment passes there’s a knock at her locker room door and she turns her head with a suspicious expression.
Riley Sweet: Yeah?
Asher Sweet peeks his head and immediately raises his hands in the air.
Asher Sweet: It just me, don’t shoot.
She smiles and leans back into her hands, looking over at him.
Riley Sweet: Hey Babe, Sorry… been trying to avoid people but come in, you know that doesn’t apply to you.
He nods before taking a seat next to her, sliding down the wall until he’s next to her on the floor.
Asher Sweet: I know.
His eyes trace along the brace on her knee.
Asher Sweet: How you holding up? Pain still excruciating or have you knocked it down to just horrendous?
She smiles and taps her temple then indicates to her knee with a nod.
Riley Sweet: I took care of it, it’ll hold for tonight and I’ll worry about what comes next after. Right now all of my focus needs to be on this match.
He leans in a little, cradling her chin and turning her face so that they’re looking into each other’s eyes.
Asher Sweet: I know I’m not supposed to distract from that focus, but sometimes you’re hard to resist. Scratch that, all the time.
She stares back into his eyes with a soft, warm smile on her face.
Riley Sweet: it’ll be okay, I promise. Just gonna go out there and do what I always do and then I’ll come right back into your arms. Running into them in fact, that’s what you said right? Always yours, forever.
His smile grows as he lets his forehead rest against hers but his fingers slide along the brace.
Asher Sweet: I’ll tell you what… I’ll excuse this one time if you don’t coming running back. I’d rather you come back safe and sound so take your time and do it right.
Her eyes divert back to the brace as his fingers run along it, biting at her bottom lip she nods.
Riley Sweet: Tyson won’t hold back tonight Ash, it doesn’t matter that we’re friends, it doesn’t matter that he’s trained me… I’m coming for what’s his and he won’t hesitate for a second to put me down. I need you to be prepared for that, to see me be stupid and reckless because he is going to have to knock me down so hard I can’t fucking stand, that’s the ONLY way he’s leaving here with that championship tonight.
Asher exhales a little and nods, still cupping her face and looking into her eyes.
Asher Sweet: I know, which is why Yas isn’t here and I told under no circumstances is she to watch. As much as I don’t want her to miss your championship moment, I know she doesn’t have the stomach for it.
His gaze becomes even more intense.
Asher Sweet: I do though. I’m here every step of the way no matter what. Remember that.
She swallows hard and stares back into his eyes, her hand grabbing his and squeezing it.
Riley Sweet: No matter what happens over the next few days, remember that you and Yas are always my priority, when I get in the ring I might lose sight of that for a moment, I might forget how important everything I have outside of it is. But that’s momentary insanity. I will never, ever choose anyone or anything over my family. Not a championship, not a victory, nothing.
She leans in and kisses him softly, her lips lingering close to his.
Riley Sweet: I can't deny I’m fucked up right now, I know how scared you are about my knee… my ribs. I understand it I mean, fuck even Molly is calling me an idiot. But right now, when you look at me like that? I know you understand why I’m doing this, why I can’t stop, why I can’t stay down. And I fucking love you for that.
He closes his eyes and just remains there with his forehead resting against hers. He seems emotional, swallowing hard before leaning back, standing up, and kissing her once on the forehead before stepping back with a big breath.
Asher Sweet: I love you too. Give him hell out there, baby.
Asher turns and starts towards the door. She reaches out and catches his hand pulling him back slightly, she looks up at him with big, wide eyes, searching his as she squeezes his hand.
Riley Sweet: And you’ll be right here, ready to celebrate with me, or comfort me, right?
His smile returns and his eyes don’t waiver as he squeezes her hand back.
Asher Sweet: I will be right here no matter what. I promise. Now get back to getting ready. I’ve already distracted you enough.
He dips down to kiss her hand and gives her a wink before ducking out and letting the door close behind him.

Tyson Gregory vs Riley Savell
RECAP The bell sounds as Riley and Tyson circle up in the middle of the ring. They go to lock up with Tyson using his size advantage to muscle Riley into the corner. Gregory backs off with the officials count and then winks at Riley the two go to lock up again but Tyson kicks at Riley’s knee, buckling her. Tyson then grabs Riley, pulls her in and snap DDT’s her head to the canvas. He then locks her in a side headlock, working on her neck. After pulling back on her neck some, Riley works back to her feet but before she can get back up again, Tyson kicks her leg out from under her and then snapmares her. He then applies the headlock again, this time Riley kicks up, just grazing Tysons head, but enough to let go of the hold. Riley takes off, hitting the fall ropes, coming back and hitting a basement dropkick to Tyson, taking him down. She then pulls him up and snap suplexes him back to the canvas before locking in a head scissors. Tyson fights the hold, trying to get some breathing room as Riley works on his neck. Tyson rolls her onto her back for a pin but Riley moves to break it at two but is quick enough to lock in an armbar on Tyson. She pulls back on his arm, looking for a submission but Tyson proves to strong as he lifts Riley in the air and powerbombs her back to the canvas. Sweet is able to roll back to her feet and looks for a superkick but Tyson is just able to smack her foot away. Gregory grabs onto Riley and takes her over for a release German suplex but Sweet lands on her feet and levels Tyson with a shining wizard to the back of the head. She makes the quick cover but only gets a two count. Tyson gets to his feet but Riley takes him down with a slingblade followed up but a running shooting star press. She covers Tyson again but he kicks out at two. Riley grabs onto Tyson and looks to go for the God Stomp (Curb Stomp) but Tyson rolls through and ends up hooking Riley in an ankle lock! He torques and twists Riley’s ankle, trying to get her to submit. She pulls at her hair and fights to get free, kicking at Tyson but he holds on tight. Riley finally reaches the ropes but more damage was done to her leg now. She uses the ropes to get to her feet but as soon as she does, Tyson clothesline’s her up and over the top. Riley lands in a pile outside the ring, using the guardrail to help stand up while Tyson hits the far ropes, comes back and suicide dives through the middle ropes and takes her and himself into the guardrail! Both are slowly moving as the official makes his count. Tyson is the first to his feet and he pulls up Riley, only to drive her back and ribs first into the side of the ring. He follows up with a snap suplex on the outside before going into the ring the break the count. He heads back out and goes for a suplex but drops Riley ribs first onto the guardrail. He backs off a few steps then charges in with a running knee to the side of Riley’s head, leaving her hanging on the rail almost lifeless. Tyson drags her back to the ring and rolls her inside. He makes the cover but Riley kicks out at two, causing Tyson to chuckle and shake his head. Tyson pulls Riley to her feet and sends her into the far ropes, she bounds back and Tyson lifts her up for a snap spine buster but Riley holds on and reverses it into a guillotine! She locks her legs around Tyson and pulls back on his head and neck. Tyson fights the hold but Riley has it locked in deep, yelling out with each pull on his neck! Tyson starts to punch and hammer on Riley’s ribs as best as he can to break the submission but she hangs on tight. Finally Tyson hits her just right and her grip starts to slip, he keeps hammering away until she lets go of the hold and both are down on the canvas in pain. Both start to stir and slowly get to their feet when Riley makes a move, trying for The Crowning (Headlock driver) but Tyson is quick enough to reverse into a back body drop into a double knee backbreaker! Tyson takes a moment to get to his feet, still feeling the effects of the guillotine choke, Riley staggers to her feet and Tyson clips her with a superkick that rocks to her knees, Riley goes down hard obviously exhausted and feeling the effects of the gruelling match, but as the official goes for the count, she somehow kicks out just before three.. Tyson pulls back and gets to his feet, shaking his head. He looks over at Sweet who is rolling over onto her stomach and he calls for her to stay down, but Riley grabs the ropes and pulls herself to her feet. This time, Tyson throws all mercy out the window determined to end the match, hitting Riley with The End of Your Sorrow (Lifting single underhook DDT), the official makes the count but at the last second, Riley gets her foot on the ropes. Tyson sits back on his knees and looks down at Riley, he starts whispering something to her, leaning in close he repeats whatever it was and Riley stares blankly at him, grabbing the ropes, she again pulls herself to her feet. Swaying and staggering, Riley turns to face the now standing Tyson who again shakes his head, almost in disbelief that she won’t quit. Riley leans back and spits at the feet of Tyson, screaming at him that he’s going to have to put her down to keep her down. Tyson looks down at the spit and then back at Riley; something igniting in his eyes. Going first for a baseball slide to her injured knee, he easily topples Sweet, then pulls her up against him and, borrowing a sickening maneuver from his wife’s moveset, locks Riley into the Octopus Stretch, hooking her injured knee around his leg, he torques the hold and Riley screams in agony. The official checks for her to tap, but she refuses and this brings another pull from Tyson, her injured ribs being pulled and stretched as he applies pressure to the injured knee; she tries to fight but it’s no use, the pain overcoming her, Sweet passes out in the hold. As soon as the bell is rung, Tyson releases the hold and Riley drops to the mat, he follows her in a half second, cradling her head he rests his forehead against hers and mutters something to her before calling for the medics. As they slide into the ring, he steps off and takes his GWA Global Championship from the official, raising it in the air.
