MATCH ONE: TAG
New World (Acid & Drakkon) vs Michael Callaghan & Layne Malone
New World (Acid & Drakkon) vs Michael Callaghan & Layne Malone
RECAP The bell sounds and Acid starts in the ring with Michael, the two circle up for a moment before locking up. Callaghan uses his power advantage to push Acid into the corner where he hammers Acid with a series of elbow smashes. Callaghan then hip tosses Acid into the middle of the ring and follows up with a seated dropkick. Michael tags in Layne who rains down a pair of knee drops to the skull of Acid, as they keep him separated from Drakkon. Layne hits the ropes and hits a Hurricanrana driver and makes the cover. But Acid kicks out. She hits the ropes again and hits a shining wizard and makes another cover, this time Drakkon yanks Layne off Acid before the three. All four competitors get in the ring brawling back and forth with Drakkon tossing Layne out of the ring. He tags himself in and starts to hit rapid fire kicks to Callaghan before hitting a spike DDT. Drakkon tosses Michael into the corner and drives knees into his midsection before pointing to Acid with a smile on his face. Drakkon lifts Michael up as Acid lines up to hit New World Rising (One member lifts their opponent and the other dives off the top rope into a Hurricanrana) but Layne chop blocks Drakkon right as Acid takes flight and misses. Callaghan gets to his feet as he and Layne line up Drakkon and drop hit with a High Low for the win. WINNER Michael Callaghan & Layne Malone METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 6:23 FINISHING MOVE High Low |

Nami Callaghan: Well that was some bullshit.
Coral Callaghan’s shocked voice floats from around the corner as the cameras move to find the Mrs. Callaghans as they prepare for their match, only a few moments away as two people they’ve had words with on Twitter are currently out in the ring, facing the team of New World (Acid & Drakkon). Michael Callaghan had only truly played cheerleader for Layne Malone, but he is clearly a pest in the opinion of his father’s wives, as Nami points at the monitor they’ve crowded around as they finish getting ready.
Coral Callaghan: LANGUAGE Nami! What has gotten into you, that was really hecking rude.
Coral’s expression however doesn’t match her tone or words, and then she laughs as Nami grins with a naughty wiggle of her blonde eyebrows.
Nami Callaghan: Hella hecking rude at that. I’m just saying, that I think we’d have enjoyed that match against Acid & Drakkon more than even the one we’ve got tonight against Teddy Warren-Steele and Jaylen Michaels.
Nami makes a face, her lips curving into a sneer.
Nami Callaghan: Isn’t he married to Kate Warren-Steele, the one that’s holding the….
Nami pauses, snapping her fingers rapidly as she tries to remember the name of the title, Coral bites her lip in anticipation and Nami finally sighs and shakes her head.
Coral Callaghan: The Cloud Gate title.
Nami lights up and nods.
Nami Callaghan: Oh well. I mean they’ve been bouncing around forever, and at just about the same level as they were as rookies so…. There’s that.
Coral nods.
Coral Callaghan: Well… he’s with Jaylen Michael so that should help. Surely.
Coral sighs and hangs her head.
Coral Callaghan: That’s a lie, isn’t it.
Nami purses her lips and nods before she speaks.
Nami Callaghan: Yeah…. Yeah that’s a pretty big lie.
Coral Callaghan: Oops. Oh well. Teddy, Jaylen, if you’re watching this somewhere… don’t be late for the match. It’s really close. You’ll know you’re there when you hear our music… which is hella hecking a boost, I tell you…. And LUCKY YOU TWO! You’re going to get to hear it twice.
Behind her Nami holds up her hand, showing two fingers, and mouthing “twice”. They laugh and head off towards the gorilla position to wait.

MATCH TWO: SINGLES
Jaylen Michaels & Teddy Warren-Steele vs Girls of Summer
Jaylen Michaels & Teddy Warren-Steele vs Girls of Summer
RECAP The bell rings but Warren-Steele and Michaels continue to argue over who gets to start the match. Eventually Jaylen has heard enough of Teddy's talk and lets him start the match for the team. He continues to talk trash to Jaylen Michaels and boost his ego before being caught with a surprise roll up Coral. She has a handful of trunks but Teddy Warren-Steele still manages to kick out at two. Jaylen laughs at Teddy for how easily he got beat but in frustration Warren-Steele tags Michaels in and dares him to do better. Teddy Warren-Steele even goes as far as shoving Jaylen Michaels into Coral who attempt the same roll up with trunks for leverage. However the athleticism of Jaylen allows him to roll throw and connect with a low dropkick. Nami rushes in attempting to aid her twin but Michaels ducks and delivers a step up enziguri. The Girls Of Summer retreat to the outside and attempt to regroup. Jaylen Michaels gives them no time to rest and leaps over the ropes to deliver a spectacular dive. The crowd is fired up and so is Jaylen! Jaylen rolls Coral back in the ring and tries to follow up but Nami grabs his ankle. The twins take advantage and Coral stomps repeatedly on Michaels's left leg. She quickly tags in her twin sister who continues to target the leg with a series of elbows across the back of the knee. Nami tags her sister right back and Coral comes off the second rope with a double stop to the left leg. She goes for a pin attempt but Jaylen manages to kick out. Teddy Warren-Steele screams on the outside for Jaylen Michaels to tag him in. The sisters continue numerous hot tags that all target Jaylen's left leg and the high flyer has a obvious limp. Nami connects with a vicious dragon screw and her sister Coral immediately locks in her signature indian deathlock. Michaels scream out in the pain and reaches for the nearest rope. Nami runs in to distract the referee who doesn't see Jaylen Michaels grab the bottom rope. Coral continues to torque his knee but the distraction allows the backhanded Teddy to and catch her in the back of the head with a vicious elbow strike. Warren-Steele drags Jaylen over to their corner. The referee turns around none the wiser and Teddy Warren-Steele tags himself into the back. He charges Nami in the corner and catches the unsuspected Girl Of Summer with a high knee that sends her into the barricade. Teddy begins to unload on Coral with a series of flashy boxing punches and trash talking her with every blow. She attempts a comeback with a few knife edge chops but Warren-Steele shuts her down by shoving her into a still recovering Jaylen Michaels on the apron. Michaels collapses to the outside as Coral walks around dazed and into a DDT from Teddy. He goes for the pin immediately but somehow she kicks out at two! Warren-Steele argues with the referee and doesn't see Nami switch places with her sister. Teddy Warren-Steele none the wiser goes to pick up Nami thinking her to be Coral but gets struck with a sudden throat chop. Nami then comes off the ropes full steam with a running corkscrew neckbreaker. She dives on the pinning thinking she got away with highway robbery but the save is made by a Jaylen Michaels who superkicks her in the temple. Nami and Teddy are both down as Michaels goes back to the corner screaming for the tag. The audience cheers with satisfaction. Nearly at the same time Nami tags in Coral and Teddy tags in Jaylen. They meet in the center of the ring and unload on one another with a series of knife edge chops. Jaylen gains momentum with a series of left and right elbows to the side of Coral's head. Michaels attempts to catch her with his springboard cutter finisher "Ouroboros" but Nami pushes Coral out of the way and takes the move instead! Jaylen confused tries to pin Nami but the referee explains to him she's not the legal Girl Of Summer. Michaels confused doesn't see Coral explode out of the corner and crash on his back with a devastating senton! She tries for a pin desperately but Teddy Warren-Steele comes off the top rope with a moonsault to her and Jaylen Michaels! All four member of this match are down as the fans chant in jubilation. Teddy crawls back to his corner pleading for Jaylen to tag him back. Coral however has no such luck as Nami is still nowhere to be seen after eating Michaels's cutter from earlier. Jaylen gets to his feet and tries to limp his way to Teddy but his knee gives out. Michaels collapses and a frustrated Warren-Steel comes into the ring to scream at him for being weak. He tries to plea to his partner to get back to the corner but Warren-Steele has none of it and slaps Jaylen Michaels across the face demanding he do better. Furious Michaels shoves Teddy Warren-Steele back and the referee has to get in between the two of them. Coral takes advantage of this by delivering a low blow to Jaylen that goes unseen by the referee. Warren-Steele is then pulled out from the outside by Nami who slams him head first into the steel steps. She immediately rushes to her corner and gets the tag from her twin sister. The Girls Of Summer quickly deliver Sunburned In Paradise, Nami pins Jaylen for the win! The twins rolls out of the ring holding their hands up high in victory. The Girls Of Summer mock their opponents as they head back up the ramp. WINNER Girls of Summer METHOD PInfall MATCH LENGTH 14:43 FINISHING MOVE Sunburned In Paradise |

BACKSTAGE
The camera fades onto a pair of white wrestling boots propped on a crate as a freshly manicured hand reaches down and begins to lace up the boots. The camera follows up the lengthy leg and makes its way to reveal the face of Aubrey Grimes, prepping last minute touches before her match against Katie Anderson. Aubrey turned her eyes to the camera, a serious look on her face.
Aubrey: There's not much to say about tonight.
She finishes tying her boot and pulls her foot down.
Aubrey: Year One and my special match is that I'm facing Katie Anderson-Tolson.... once again. I feel like I've wasted enough time on her and her wife. We've been running in circles and I can only hope after tonight, I won't have to deal with either of them again.
She sighed and rolled her eyes.
Aubrey: Katie and Sam both are notorious for always cheating. They're always interfering in each other's matches. I don't want any of that tonight, Katie. For once in your life, fight fair. No cheating, no interruptions, nothing. Just you and me in a fair match. That's all I'm asking out of you, though I know it's probably asking for too much. I know one thing for sure....just like last time, I'll be standing with my hand held high. See you soon.
She blows a kiss and walks off.

MATCH THREE: SINGLES
Aubrey Grimes vs Katie Anderson
Aubrey Grimes vs Katie Anderson
RECAP At the sound of the bell Aubrey and Katie meet in the center of the ring, with Katie jaw jacking the entire way. Once they come together in a tie-up, Aubrey starts to gain an advantage using her leverage but Katie shoves her way out of the collar and elbow then slaps Aubs right across the face with a loud SMACK that echoes through the arena. Aubrey steadies herself and moves in again, ducking under a rolling elbow from Katie and catching her in a rear waist lock. Katie grapples with Aubrey’s hands, trying to break her grip, but ends up being pushed front first into the ropes and then upended on the rebound in an O’Connor Roll for an early two count... but when it looks like Katie is going to kick out, Aubrey transitions into a German suplex! Grimes bridges but only manages another two count before Katie rolls a shoulder off the mat. Katie pounds the mat in frustration as crawls off to regain her composure, and Aubrey tries to capitalize on her early momentum with a three-quarter Nelson pinning combination, but Katie rolls through, reversing the pin onto Grimes! Aubrey kicks out just in the nick of time and then gets to her feet just to catch a huge Superman forearm shot to the temple, sending her spilling outside of the ring. Katie plays to the booing crowd as the referee starts a ten count, getting to a six before Aubrey manages to regain her footing and crawl up onto the ring apron. Katie heads her off, stepping out between the ropes onto the apron herself and grabbing two handfuls of Aubrey’s hair, dragging her up onto the apron all the way and bending her between her legs... then turning and tossing her off the ring into the barricade with a huge powerbomb! Aubrey’s head snaps back into the railing as she collapses to the concrete floor! Katie doesn’t wait for the count this time as she follows Aubrey out of the ring, peppering her nearly unconscious body with stomps and kicks. Katie drags Aubrey to her feet and attempts to slam her face into the guard rail but Aubrey grabs on and stops her momentum, grabbing a surprised Katie and slamming her face into the rail instead. Aubrey stumbles away to catch her breath as Katie slumps over the rail, her lip split open and a trail of blood dripping down her chin. The referee begins counting both women out as Katie presses her fingers against her face and sees the red on her fingers. She roars in fury and turns around, catching an off-guard Aubrey with a wicked spear that sends her tumbling into the ring steps! The referee drops down to the floor to check on Aubrey, and Katie looks beneath the ring skirting until she finds what she’s looking for... a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire! Katie raises the weapon over her head and advances on Aubrey, but the ref gets in between and won’t let her swing it, which gives Aubrey the opportunity to throw a desperation shoulder into Katie’s gut, shoving her back into the ring apron and causing her to lose her grip on the bat, which falls into the ring. Aubrey grabs Katie and rolls her into the ring, following her. She waits as Katie slowly gets to her feet, then hits the ropes and comes flying off with a cross body! But Katie drops down out of the way and Aubrey collides with the official! The referee is down in the corner and Aubrey is mortified, checking to see if he’s okay... which gives Katie all the time and opportunity she needs to snatch the barbed wire bat back up and slam it into Aubrey’s back! Aubrey wails in pain and clutches her spine as she falls to the canvas, and Katie drags her to a far corner, draping her front first on top of the baseball bat and scaling the ropes... Katie sets up for the Falling Pech Blossom high angle moonsault and executes it perfectly... LANDING RIGHT ON THE EXPOSED BARBED WIRE BAT! AUBREY ROLLED OUT OF THE WAY! Katie Anderson-Tolson screeches and stands up, the bat sticking to her skin, hanging off of her torso by a dozen bloody barbs. Her face is twisted in tears and anguish as she tries to pluck the barbs from her skin, and as she walks in a disoriented circle, pulling at the bat, Aubrey catches right in the chin with her Blonde Ambition kick! The bat flies out of the ring as Katie falls unconscious to the mat, and Aubrey drops onto her for a cover just as the referee comes back to his senses and sees what’s happening... 1! 2! 3!!! Aubrey Grimes wins it! WINNER Aubrey Grimes METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 16:25 FINISHING MOVE Blonde Ambition |
BACKSTAGE
Backstage now and Jodi James is standing by with Melissa Reeves. Jodi turns to her guest and gives a quick smile. Reeves, for her part, appears to be in no mood for smalltalk or pleasantries.
"Melissa, tonight you face-"
Mel holds a hand up and takes the microphone from Jodi.
"Year One...an entire year of Liberty Pro. Of that year, of that 365 days, I held the Liberty Championship for 149. Did you know that, Jodi? Actually, it doesn't matter if you knew, it's true regardless."
Jodi shrugs, but Melissa is undeterred.
"Right from day one, from show number one, I was right up there at the top. I fought Becky for months to claw my way toward that title. I jumped through every hoop put before me. I climbed the mountain, not just here but in Vengeance too. Not only that, but I've held the Anarchy and Tag titles during that year, and what does that earn me in the eyes of Nathan Callaghan?"
She scoffs.
"Did it earn me any respect? Did it prove to him what I'm capable of? Did it show that here, at the biggest event of the year, I should be a headline star?"
Mel looks around and then shakes her head.
"Na. Of course not. Hell, I'm not even on the poster. Why? It's a matter of respect. He has none for me and has earned none from me. Fact is that because I don't kiss his ass and he hates it. There is plenty of talent in Liberty, no doubting that at all, but nobody has achieved what I have."
She takes in a sharp inhale and then stares into the camera.
"So what do I earn for all of that? What fantastic match do I get tonight? I get to face Samantha Tolson. I fight the supposed hero who's a villain in all but her own eyes, a woman who's tried to aid her wife in being a thorn in my side. She used to be someone I thought of as a friend, a woman I respected, but she's lost her way. She's not the fearsome competitor she wishes she was and she's certainly not the woman I thought her to be."
Reeves shrugs.
"You'd be forgiven for thinking that this match is personal for me, but it's not. Tonight is just business and after this I will move on to the next challenge."
She shoves the microphone back into Jodi's hand and leaves her behind as she walks away out of view.

MATCH FOUR: SINGLES
Samantha Tolson vs Melissa Reeves
Samantha Tolson vs Melissa Reeves
RECAP The match starts slow when both competitors engage in a drawn out staredown in the middle of the ring, neither woman being willing to flinch or break eye contact first. After several tense moments pass with the crowd torn between who to cheer for, Melissa Reeves extends a hand out to Sam but Samantha slaps it out of the way. Reeves rolls her eyes and steps back. They circle one another slowly then, each taking chances with quick feints and attempts at drop downs and single legs, neither one connecting or catching the other in anything. Eventually the two ladies recognize the stalemate and stand with their hands on their hips until Tolson extends one arm up in the air, wriggling her fingers and requesting a test of strength from Melissa Reeves. Reeves nods in agreement and laces her fingers between Sam’s, then repeats the process with her opposite arm. The two then lunge toward each other, gritting their teeth and straining against each other’s efforts. Sam gains a slight upper hand due to her weight advantage, pressing Reeves down nearly to one knee before the Reaver finds a second effort within her and raises back up. Reeves then manages to bend the knee of Tolson momentarily before the Pretty Little Murder Machine finds a burst of her own to stands and break the two of them apart. The two circle again, nodding and grinning at one another with appreciation. Reeves then backs into the ropes and rushes forward, slamming a hard shoulder tackle into Tolson... who barely moves a muscle. The crowd oooohs as Sam and Melissa size each other up, and this time it’s Sam who hits the ropes and charges back with a high velocity shoulder thrust. Reeves absorbs the impact without so much as a single step backward and both women once again seem energized by such an equal challenge. Reeves smiles and hits the ropes again, and Tolson does the same on the perpendicular strands. They criss cross one another once, then twice, before meeting in the middle of the ring with a third, huge, shoulder connection that rocks both girls and sends them each backing up a step or two... but neither woman leaves her feet. Without hesitation, the two women repeat the process with each one taking a turn dropping down to the mat and allowing the other to step over them as they rush across the ring. They finally meet in the middle once more and this time they both have the same idea and catch each other with a double clothesline! Both women are sent to the canvas hard and the official starts a ten count as they try to regain their composure. Melissa and Sam both get back to their feet simultaneously and once again begin to jockey for better positioning in a series of grips and reversals. Sam slides a collar and elbow into a side headlock, which Reeves easily slides into a hammerlock. Same throws a back elbow which Melissa ducks, but when Reeves attempts to take advantage with a belly to belly Sam blocks with her leg and executes a standing switch, grabbing Reeves in a waist lock and lifting her from the mat, dropping her onto her front and floating over into a front face lock. Melissa Reeves powers up, getting both girls back to their feet, and frees herself with an arm wringer on Sam, who slaps her shoulder to keep the blood flowing as Reeves applies a wrist lock and puts on the pressure. Reeves buries her elbow into the triceps of Sam, forcing her down to a knee, but Sam takes advantage with a sneaky ankle pick, tripping Reeves onto her back. Sam grabs Reeves by both ankles and flips forward, executing a jackknife pin that only gets a one before Reeves bridges up. With the two back to back, Reeves hooks her arms around Sam’s and kneels, dragging Sam forward onto her shoulders. Another one count and Sam kicks out, rolling backwards and then diving over Reeves and cradling her into a pin of her own, which again is kicked out of right after the one. The is going wild as they both get to their feet again after the display of technical skill from the two veterans. Sam Tolson attempts a hip toss but Melissa Reeves blocks it and reverses into a deep arm drag that sends Sam skidding into a corner. Tolson gets to her feet just as Reeves charges in with a running Stinger splash, which Sam avoids at the last second. Reeves sags against the buckles as her wind is knocked out of her and Sam takes full advantage by snapping a knife edge chop across her chest. Reeves clutches her reddening sternum as the crowd WOOs in appreciation, before Sam takes a step back and starts sending a series of hard left and right kicks into the torso of Melissa Reeves! Reeves slumps down, but when Sam backs up for a final kick Melissa explodes from the corner with a lariat that nearly decapitates Tolson! Both women down again and it takes them until the count of nine to fully get back to a vertical base. Tolson sends a hard right across the jaw of Reeves who answers in kind. They exchange stiff punches in the middle of the ring as the crowd roars them on, and finally Sam catches Reeves off guard with a kick to the midsection. Sam hooks Reeves up and sends her flying over head with a Northern Lights suplex. Reeves bounces up but is immediately caught in a T-Bone suplex for her trouble, and Tolson has full control. Tolson lifts Reeves in a reverse atomic drop but instead of slamming her down she sets Melissa up on the top turnbuckle, following her up the ropes and preparing for her Victory Drop Omega finisher! Reeves has it scouted and starts throwing strong back elbows, catching Tolson off balance with one that catches her right on the point of the chin. Reeves turns herself around and grabs Tolson by the back of the head... then leaps off the top and slams Sam’s face down across her knees with an avalanche Facial Deconstructor! Tolson is flat on her back but Reeves is slow in crawling across for the cover, allowing Tolson to get a shoulder up at the last possible second. Reeves is shocked and repeatedly asks the referee if he’s sure it was a two count and not a three. Felix: “I was a soldier.”
That voice echoed across the darkness of the screen, letting the stillness accentuate the brevity of the former statement. Quiet, but carried, like ripples across a pond that spread out as they faded.
Felix: “Third Battalion, seventy fifth regiment. US Army Rangers. I lived my dream of serving my country. Same as my father, same as his father, same as my manager, Rusty.”
The light faded in, and there Felix sat, on a steel chair with his title across one of those big, broad, shoulders of his, fingers gripping the leather strap, Rusty standing at his left side. For once, Felix seemed more grim than jovial.
Felix: “My job, my calling, was to defend Liberty at all costs, no matter the cost, and you could say that I did my job well. Now? Now I'm in a different life, defending a new kind of Liberty, carrying a title that I spent a lot of time, energy, and blood to obtain.”
Shifting the title down, he held it in his lap, fingers tracing the designs that were engraved into it.
Felix: “It's not easy to win a title, but it's even harder to keep it. You have to be better than everyone you fight, every night. They only have to be better than you once, but that's the point, isn't it? That's what makes a champion in the end, and the two people I'll be facing won't shirk from that responsibility if they win, I already know that.”
Tilting his head to the side, he lifted the title up so that it was displayed fully, propped up by his abdomen.
Felix: “But this title isn't theirs yet. It's mine. I have no intentions of hearing “and new!” being shouted tonight. I don't plan on letting this gold leave my possession without throwing the worst beating I can throw to the two of them. I know it's a triple threat but let's be real, it's a two on one, with the focus being on me.”
Cue that infamous smirk raising across his bearded face.
Felix: “Good thing I can operate under pressure, right?”
Slowly, that camera faded out, leaving it's final focus on that title that still remained o his hands.

Just outside the entrance to Madison Square Garden, one of the most iconic venues in wrestling history and a true landmark for tourists and native New Yorkers alike, Liberty Pro’s own Cartier stands surrounded by young fans as they mob her for selfies and autographs.
💎Cartier💎: “Y’all I love y’all so much... thank you so much for coming to see me...”
A young black girl dressed in Cartier’s style of outfit runs up to the Brooklyn Baller, wrapping her arms around the star and burying her face in her midsection.
“I love you Cartier! I watch you every show!”
💎Cartier💎: “Aw! Girl I love you too, you the reason I can keep going in this business, it’s hard as f... as heck, you know what I’m sayin’? Without my fans all around the world, all y’all Little Ballers in the Cartier Crew, I probably couldn’t do it! You got somethin’ for me to sign, baby girl?”
“Naw I just want a selfie video!”
💎Cartier💎: “Heck yeah, let’s do it.”
Cartier leans down so she’s eye level with the young girl, who pulls out a cell phone and sets it to record a video. The girl and Cartier both wave into the camera, smiling.
“Okay, now say ‘suck a dick, hoe!’”
💎Cartier💎: “Whoa, what? You want that on your video for real?”
“Hell yeah, you said that on Twitter and it was awesome!”
💎Cartier💎: “Yeah but like ain’t you twelve or some sh... somethin’?”

MATCH FIVE: US CHAMPIONSHIP
Cartier vs Felix Graves vs Kolin Kavanagh
Cartier vs Felix Graves vs Kolin Kavanagh
RECAP The fans were excited to see Felix defend his US Championship against Cartier and Felix Graves, with the fans clearly supporting Felix. The bell rings and Kolin slides out of the ring and shrugs his shoulders with a shit eating grin on his face. Felix yells at Kolin to get back in but this gives Cartier the chance to take advantage and she nails Felix with a running knee strike. Cartier hops on top of Felix and she starts to lay into the US Championship with several closed fist punches before Kolin gets tired of watching Cartier antics and he gets into the ring. He blindsides Cartier with a big boot before picking her up and dropping her with a snap suplex. Kolin pins Cartier but she kicks out after two. Felix stands back up to his feet but Kolin stays on the offensive, hitting Graves with a plethora of strikes and kicks before Kavanagh clotheslines Graves out of the ring. Kolin turns his attention back to Cartier, picking her up and dropping her with a snap DDT. Kolin pins Cartier but Cartier gets a shoulder up after the two count. Kolin slaps Cartier, telling the dumb bitch to stay down. This causes Cartier to flip out as she hits Kolin with an elbow to the gut before slapping him on the face. Kolin is enraged and he goes for a clothesline but Cartier ducks it before hitting Kolin with a DDT. Kolin gets up to his knees as Cartier hit the ropes and came back before nailing Kolin with a shining wizard. Cartier pins Kolin but before she could get the three count, Felix Graves comes back into the ring and breaks up the pin fall, saving the match and his championship. Felix takes out Cartier with a snap suplex. Kolin stirs and he hit Felix with a superkick that has him dazed. Kolin then tries to finish off Graves with a step-up enziguri but Felix ducks it. Kolin stumbles back up to his feet but Felix takes him out with The Second Amendment (An arm caught/irish whip meathook clothesline). Before Felix could go for the pin, Kolin rolls out of the ring. Felix turns and Cartier takes him out with Empire State of Mind (Kinshasa). Cartier pins Graves but he gets his foot on the ropes before the three count. Kolin gets back in the ring but before he can get back up to his feet fully, Cartier levels him with the Empire State of Mind as well. Before Cartier can pin Kolin, Felix grabs her and throws her out of the ring. Felix then pins Kolin himself and the referee makes the count, which reaches three. The bell rings and Felix is announced the winner. Before the referee can hand Graves the US Championship, Cartier enters the ring and rips it out of the referee’s hands. She then levels Felix in the face with it. Cartier smirks as she raises the belt in the air while standing over Graves. She then drops the belt over him and yells out ‘This ain’t finished yet!’ Before she exits the ring. WINNER Felix Graves METHOD Pinfall MATCH LENGTH 12:58 FINISHING MOVE Empire State of Mind |
MATCH SIX: DEATHMATCH
Voidstar vs Cyrus Riddle
Voidstar vs Cyrus Riddle
RECAP The match begins before the two even get to the ring, with Cy blindsiding Voidstar with a fireball from the crowd, as the Englishman disguises himself. Voidstar covers his face as Riddle removes his hoodie and begins an onslaught in the entryway using a pair of brass knuckles from his jean’s pocket to carefully land punches over the back and into the ribs of his foe, ending it with a right hook that leaves Voidstar out on the floor. Riddle plays to the crowd a bit as he unveils the treasure trove from under the ring. Tables, chairs, barbed wire bat, thumb tacks, and a wooden box with a glass pane installed within it. The fans react with shock and unsettled awe inside of MSG. Voidstar begins to move and fights back with Riddle as the two stand ringside. Being the first to use a weapon, Void hits Cy in the face with a steel chair, the sound echoing as Riddle lands on the outside mat and the masked one begins to slide the tools of death into the ring before climbing in himself. Riddle stirs, rolling into the ring. The two men clash back and forth before Voidstar gets the upper hand by throwing tacks in Riddle’s face and subsequently hitting him with a barbed wire bat across his face, splitting him open. A bloody faced Cy eventually comes to a screeching halt after being thrown into the glass pane, but barely manages a kick out at the two count. Eventually Riddle comes to enough to mount offense once more, taking Voids leg out with a chair and using a cheese grater to tear his mask open, ripping his flesh to bleed for the crowd to see. And in an act of grotesque display, Riddle asks Voidstar how infinite he is as he stabs the wound with his finger and tastes it, leaving the crowd to look away momentarily. Riddle then walks to the corner and sets a table up, using fluid and lighter to set it ablaze, but Void dodges the attack momentarily by hitting Riddle with a chair, mildly stunning him. The bloody combatants find themselves on the apron with Riddle on the top turnbuckle, Void landing a right hand that allows him to climb to the top and stand at Riddles head, looking for what seems to be a powerbomb. However, Riddle fights back by spitting his own blood in Void’s face, creating enough distraction to pull piano wire from his back pocket and begin choking his enemy. Unable to fight back, Void gives into Riddle as he throws more fluid on the fire and delivers his Darkness Falls through the flaming table, getting one arm draped over for the hard fought, blood pin to culminate their war. EARLIER TONIGHT
We’re taken into the parking lot as a black (car here) pulls up. It isn’t long before we see who the driver/passenger combo is as Ruby Lance and Caspian Kace hop out of the car after one another. First, Cas, standing tall in a thin gray jacket, a Lonestar Pro Wrestling ‘Jason Butler’ T-shirt,black joggers and some gray Kobe AD lows walks over toward the back of the car and pops the trunk open before power walking to the passenger side door and opening the door for his wife. Ruby dressed in a pair of ripped blue jeans, a pink tunic tank top, and black pop matchbox dress boots steps out of the car to help Kace with their luggage as he pulls 4 bags out, two bags at a time. Caspian hands Ruby one of their rollers whilst carrying the other three.
Ruby: Thanks.
She places her free hand on Cas' back with a smile as the two of them head towards the arena entrance. They don't get very far before they are ambushed by the camera crew that is filming them, complete with generic interviewer #1 (because I can't skip numbers!).
Interviewer: Caspian! Ruby! You both have huge championship matches over the next two nights. Can I get your thoughts going into these matches? How confident are you that you'll leave the anniversary event still with your championships?
Caspian: As a champion, you should always be confident in your ability to perform and take home the W. Oh, and the belt. That one especially. Well, maybe not especially, but definitely bring the title with you when you win. When I win. No, when Ruby wins. When we win. We’ll bring both of them home with us. Bean here sure is up against some tough competition tonight but she’s trained harder than anyone I know. She’s done this before! This rodeo is like a never ending thing for Mrs. Champspian Kace here. Win titles with grace. Ummmm power? And the number one ingredient in all championship reigns, heart. You’ve got to have the heart to be able to put it all out there on any given night!
Cas slings one of the carry-ons over his shoulder as he stretches his arm out to grab onto his wife’s hand, looking at her through the side of her eye as he plays with the band on her ring finger.
Ruby: Uh, yeah! All of that! Honestly, he said it best. He always says it best. I love listening to him talk.
Ruby looks up at Cas with a smile and leans into him, giving his hand a little squeeze.
Ruby: But yeah. It's definitely some tough competition tonight for me, and tomorrow night for Cas. The toughest part for me is going it alone. I'm definitely not as confident as I force myself to be once I get out into the ring. Which, I'm sure someone is just waiting to now capitalize on that, but it's okay because I become a different person out in that ring. Thanks to the support I have outside of it. From my husband to my friends to the fans out there cheering me on. It all means so much to me and it's what's gotten me this far. So, why not let it take me further?
She glances over at Cas once again, smiling up at him and letting her gaze linger on him even as she continues to talk.
Ruby: So confident? Yeah. We're both confident. For each other. We'll be fine either way. Thanks.
Ruby gives Cas' hand a gentle tug towards the arena. Walking away, Cas waves goodbye to the interviewer.
Caspian: Thank you!! It was a fun interview! Let’s try it again sometime! Maybe in a place where we’re sitting down!!!
The scene fades out as Cas and Ruby head into the arena.

HEADLINE: GOTHAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Riley Savell vs Scotty Latimer
Riley Savell vs Scotty Latimer
RECAP Riley looked more on form than she has been in past weeks, but was still obviously fostering some injuries; protecting her ribs wherever possible and a brace still strapped around her knee. Before the match begins, her brace is checked for any hidden weapons. As soon as the bell rings, Riley drives her brace into the gut of Latimer though and takes him down to the mat. She follows up the action with several hard stomps, going in violently as though she was trying to stomp a hole right through him, she then drives a knee drop with her braced knee into the shoulder of Scotty just as the official steps in and forces her to back off, giving time for Scotty to get to his feet. The pair go back and forth for some time, but Riley maintains the control of the pace in the match for the proportion of it, any time Scotty looks to gain momentum she uses sly tricks to bring him to the mat, kicks to the back of the knee, solar plex attacks, even a low blow (or several) are used by Riley to keep Scotty down on the mat at every given opportunity; Riley went for a quick roll up but only got a two count and Scotty was able to force her into a lock up. Despite Sweet almost matching him in height, he was able to use his weight advantage to force her back against the turnbuckle where he fired off several hard, open hand chops across her chest that echoed through the arena that caused Riley to clutch at her chest in stinging pain, before targeting her damaged ribs, dropping his shoulder into them over and over. Scotty takes a moment and lines up a deep shoulder thrust that’s doubles over Riley. He lines her up again but in seeming desperation, Riley headbutts Scotty and forces him to back off. She slides down and pulls Scotty’s feet from under him, going for another roll up but once again, Scotty is about to kick out at two. As the pair get to their feet, Riley fires off two harsh punt kicks to Latimers head before he can get off his knees, allowing Riley to fall back into the corner for a moment. As Latimer hits the mat, Riley turns and yanks the turnbuckle cover free, throwing it behind her. Before she can turn though, Scotty grabs the ankle of Riley and yanks back into a toe hold that sees Riley go face first into the exposed turnbuckle! The impact busts Riley wide open and she stumbled back, trying to wipe the blood from her eyes, only to be caught by Scotty into a small package. Riley kicks out less than a second too late and the bell rings as Scotty backs off and Riley sits up slowly, looking around in obvious shock. As Scotty climbs the turnbuckle, championship in hand, Riley stares up at him - for a moment it looks as though Riley is going to attack, but instead she slides out of the ring and shakes her head as she turns to make her way up the ramp. Malone: WASHED UP!!
Heads turn in his direction. He keeps yelling.

Backstage crewmembers look shocked as he walks past them, still dragging chains.
Malone: PSYCHOTIC!!! FAILURE AS A HUSBAND!!! FAILURE AS A FATHER!!!!
His head is down as he continues forward, still dragging chains.
Malone: TRASH!!! A BACKSTABBING PRICK!!!
He makes it to the end of the hall, as everyone in the back has become quiet. He stands before the gorilla position and unravels his hands from the chains. They drop to the floor. Without turning he speaks quietly.
Malone: a slave to the insults and the slander that I have felt for over 2 years. NO MORE!!!
Some crewmembers head the other way quickly. Malone still stands there and turns his head so the side of his face is visible.
Malone: tonight I claim Freedom from you Ruby. I strip that title from your grip and I find myself at the top, once again where I have belonged this whole fucking time!!!
He turns his head back away and climbs through the curtain before saying…
Malone: you and Liberty are about to lose your Freedom.

Ruby Lance vs Gray Malone
Ruby Lance vs Gray Malone
RECAP The bell sounds and Malone is quick to try for a collar and elbow tie-up that gives him the power advantage but Ruby ducks into a waistlock. She runs Malone into the ropes and he holds on, causing her to snap backwards alone. Ruby rolls through to her feet only to get run through with a hard shoulder tackle. He drags her up off the canvas and lifts her high into the air with a suplex but she manages to wiggle out and land on her feet behind him. Malone throws a back elbow that Ruby ducks as she runs off the ropes. She returns with a shotgun dropkick that stumbles Malone back into the corner but he remains on his feet. Ruby charges in and Malone elevates her, dropping her face-first onto the top turnbuckle. Malone tosses Ruby recklessly out of the corner with a German suplex and follows it out with a running knee just as she sits up. Malone makes another cover and Ruby kicks out at two. Malone locks in a sleeper hold and Ruby fights up to one knee, burying elbows into his midsection. Malone clubs her across the back of the neck and drives a knee into her spine before a pendulum clothesline puts her back down. Malone goes for a cover and Ruby bridges out of it before three. Ruby ducks a punch aimed for right for her face and she leaps onto Malone's back, wrapping her arm around his throat and her legs around her waist. Malone tries to sling her off but Ruby holds on tight, cutting off his oxygen, bringing him down to one knee. Malone charges into the nearest corner, squashing Ruby. He stumbles out to catch his breath and then races in with a rage to Ruby's raised boot. She throws her legs around his neck and swings out of the corner with a hurricanrana. Malone gets to one knee and Ruby hits another hurricanrana that plants him face-first into the canvas. She scrambles into the cover and Malone powers out at two. Ruby stays on the offensive and nails the Phoenix Force (Knock-out punch) as soon as he's up but it only takes him down to one knee. She grabs him up in a front facelock but Malone powers her up across his shoulder and runs the back of her head into the turnbuckle. Malone delivers a Samoan Drop and heads to the top rope to fly with a leg drop that Ruby just avoids. Ruby takes a moment to gather herself, hitting the ropes and blasting Malone in the face with a sit-out dropkick. She heads to the top rope next and flies with the Elite Phoenix Splash… but Malone is up and catches her! He runs her back-first into the corner and then throws her out with an Exploder suplex clear across the ring. Ruby rolls out of the ring in a daze. Malone follows after and drops her face-first across the apron. He continues the destruction outside the ring despite the referee's count, throwing Ruby into the steel steps and then slinging her into the barricade. Queenie watches the destruction with a smile on her face. Malone rolls into the ring long enough to break the count and is back out. He charges with a knee at Ruby's skull but she moves at the last second and Malone slams his knee into the barricade. Queenie rushes over to check on him and gets a furious look on her face. She starts for Ruby but the referee is out there to hold her back, threatening to disqualify Malone if she touches Ruby. Ruby rolls into the ring, barely on her feet while Malone lays at ringside holding his knee. The referee is back in the ring counting. He reaches seven before Malone crawls towards the ring and just dives in before ten. He limps over to Ruby and clubs her across the back, flipping her up for You Lose (powerbomber into a piledriver) but Ruby flips back down, dragging him into a hurricanrana. She holds on for the pin and the referee counts ONE! TWO! THREE! Malone kicks out a second too late! The bell sounds. Malone and Queenie can't believe it. Ruby collapses on the canvas, grabbing at her back. The referee retrieves her Freedom Championship as the ring announcer declares her the champion. She's helped to her feet by the referee and Malone runs through her with the Shadowblade (Spear)! The referee yells and argues but Malone ignores him, pulling Ruby up and delivering You Lose in the middle of the ring! Ruby is left laid out and Malone collects the fallen Freedom Championship. Suddenly the crowd bursts into cheers and Malone drops the belt onto her, bolting from the ring as Caspian Kace slides in. He's irate and screaming at Malone that he lost and to get over it. Malone seethes with rage but Queenie has a smile on her face at the destruction. Cas checks on Ruby as Night 1 of Year One comes to a close with Ruby still the Freedom Champion but not looking like it at this particular moment.
